Chapter 1
#1 of The Moon's Touch
The professor droned on in the monotone voice that was his as he lectured about history. Tasha listened with abject disgust to the professor's lecture. He had ways of making even the wars seem boreing so she let him drone on and tried to remember the latest dream she had. She had always dreamed that she found a perfect mate, the only problem was that every time she dreamed that dream it ended just before she saw the person. Snapping out of her short daze as she heard the last bell of the week ring. Quickly picking up the various books beneath her desk Tasha zipped out of the building and away towards her home to prepare for the weekend.
Running between the colorful houses behind the campus Tasha left the troubles in school leave her mind. She had many reports due the next week, but this being friday she considered it a free day and none would bother her until tomorrow. Rushing into the house she called out for her roommate to tell her that she was home. Far be it from her to live with a man and start too many rumors to quash, so she had chosen a roommate that would not leave any rumors behind. They lived in the same house but rarely saw each other. Not hearing any reply back Tasha smiled to herself and slipped her shoes and socks off at the entryway. It seemed that her roommate was out, and from the sound of it, would probably be out for the entire weekend from the way she had been talking on the phone that week. Tossing the books on the table in the kitchen she ran upstairs stripping the T-shirt and shorts she had worn to school off and threw them into her room as she went by towards the bathroom. Freedom was great and a nice hot bath would clear all her worries away.
Closing the door behind her Tasha slipped out of the last two pieces of clothing she was wearing letting them drop to the floor and admired herself in the mirror. She was a little under five feet tall her normal blonde hair was dyed a bright saphire blue and hung down her back to her butt. Having just reached 19 a few weeks before she was short, but well built for her age. Her two fleshy mounds that hung from her chest could have been larger in her opinion but were hardly flat. Grasping them both, one in each hand she pushed them up seeing what it would be like on the top if she were to have larger breasts. Letting them fall back into place she turned to the tub and started the hot water running then plugged up the drain allowing it to begin to fill. A CD player set in the bathroom was near and always held a CD with the sounds of nature on it, turning it on the room filled with the sounds of wind and rustling grass as well as various inscets that no longer lived in the city. To get these sounds the group had gone far and wide over the planet to get the sounds and it made for easy relaxing while she was in the tub. Going back to the mirror as the water splashed and filled the tub she ran her hands down her sides and over her hips to her legs. Her hips stood three inches wider than her waist and it gave her one of the better hourglass figures in school. Other females were jealous of her and she taunted them by flirting with the guys all the time even if she was never very serious in them. Giggling at the last blush she had recieved from a guy she turned from the mirror and slid into the water of the tub turning the water off as she did listening to the sounds that eminated from the CD on the counter. The hot water felt good on her skin as she laid there the sounds relaxing her into a peaceful slumber as the day slowly retreated outside and darkness fell.
The dream came again. She was in a clearing sitting on a bench made out to look like a log when her eyes were covered from behind. A burly male voice spoke from behind her asking Tasha his name. A small breeze stirred her hair as she tried to remember if her perfect mate had ever given her his name before. Thinking it through she answered in a small voice that caught in her throat. "I know we have met before, but I do not remember your name." The hands removed themselves from her eyes and placed themselves on her shoulders. Remembering that whenever she had turned around to get a look at the person behind the sexy voice the dream had always ended she remained looking into the clearing. Some of the smaller trees swayed in the wind as the sun sunk down below the nearest hill. She had never found the park where this little clearing was and yet it seemed as if she knew it like the back of her hand just as she knew this voice was the voice of the perfect mate for her. Hearing his words again she felt his hands run along her hair and down her neck sending shivers of pleasure down her spine.
"The name is Corlo." The wind gusted and she closed her eyes so as not to let any dust get into them. When they opened again she was still in the clearing but darkness had settled over it and a bright half-light from the moon shone down into it. Still feeling the pressure of his hands on her shoulders Tasha sighed and listened as he cleared his throat prepareing to talk again as he had many times before to whisper sweet words to her. "Tasha, tomorrow is a wonderful time. I believe in the morning we shall finally be able to meet one another in person just as we have met in our dreams. Come my sweet and let me see your body as you are now for I shall miss it until we meet again." She had heard the last part before and smiled out into the clearing never thinking that the first few words he spoke this time had never been spoken before. Standing still facing away from him she lifted the shirt over her head and let it drop to the ground. She had never thought of it before but in the dreams she never was wearing a bra or panties, but it never seemed to matter at the time. Unbuttoning the shorts she had on she slid them over her round hips and let them drop along her smooth legs to the ground next to her shirt. Standing there nude in the clearing she felt the moon bathe her in its light. It was perfect, and she was happy to be showing off her beautiful body to one who enjoyed it so. Closing her eyes she turned around for him as he sighed where he stood. "You are beautiful, just as I remembered from last we met. I cannot wait to hold you and feel you." Smiling she laughed and reached both arms out to her sides and reveled as the wind caressed her naked form. This time she would be certian to catch a small glimpse of him she thought and opened her eyes.
Tasha opened her eyes and sighed when she couldnt see anything. Aparently her roomate had decided to play a trick on her and turn off the lights to the bathroom. Grumbling to herself she stood up shivering. Aparently she had been in the water a long time, it had gone from its hot temperature to almost an icy cold in the time she had slept against the back of the tub. Reaching out to the left where the towels hung she missed and slipped falling face first towards what she thought was her death if she hit the edge of the tub or even the counter. With a splash she felt the cold water rush over her head and cover her body. Her hands hit the bottom and felt smooth rocks, some small some large. Gasping for air as her head came out of the water she coughed and sputtered letting the water run from her nose and out her mouth. She had taken in quite a bit of liquid as she fell and she did not want to repeat. Blinking a few times and running her hands across her forehead to remove her hair from the front of her face she looked out over a small pool of water, it was much larger than her bathtub and it also was in the middle of a forest. Looking up she saw clouds retreating from covering the moon. That was the reason it had been so dark Tasha thought to herself not quite letting it sink in that she should have still been in the tub then she blinked once as it slowly sunk into her head.
Screaming a piercing scream that sang out into the night Tasha let all her feelings leave her body in that one shriek that silenced the night around her until she ran out of breath her voice gone. Tears ran from her blue eyes and dripped into the pool of water making ripples that joined with the ones her heavy breathing sent out along the surface of the water. Crawling to the edge of the pool she climbed out and slicked as much water off her body as she could hopeing that the night was not so chill as to freeze her. She was nude and did not look to be anywhere near where she could find any clothing. Grasping her hair she leaned back slightly and wrung the saphire strands out inch by inch so that her hair would dry quicker than just leaving it soaking wet. Wishing for a brush or even a comb she set out trying to find anything familiar to her.
Eyes having finally become accustomed to the moonlight that faded in and out slightly Tasha picked her way across the ground carefully avoiding any sticks that looked like they would hurt her feet. Finding a small track of parted grass and cleared of sticks and leaves she sighed with relief. This would take her to civilization and she would get her roommate to confess and tell her how she had managed to get her clear out here without her waking up. Traveling a little faster along the trail than she had picking and choosing her ground Tasha's feet became a little sore as she realized that the moon was beginning to get brighter. Stopping and taking a look around she shivered letting her arms wrap themselves around her breasts feeling the icy cold from her nipples slowly warm beneath the flesh of her arms. She was cold, but not too cold as long as she kept moving. The sky was getting brighter that was for sure and it gave Tasha time to pause and think. She couldnt have been asleep that long that the sun was already comming up, could she? Shrugging to herself she continued on slightly faster hopeing to outrace the light and get back into clothing before someone saw her. She had been traveling North according to the way the sun was rising the orangeish red color starting to rise into the air as she reached the edge of the forest through which she had been walking.
Letting her arms drop from her sides Tasha stared out at the rolling hills of a giant plain of grass. A simple lone cabin stood out partially covered by one of the two trees that grew close to the cabin. It had been made from logs and looked as if the cracks between the logs were filled with what looked to be some sort of hardened black ooze that had been put there. Standing in shock at the sight she realized that she couldnt be anywhere near her city, let alone her house. The park near it was no where near this large. Hopeing for the best she started towards the cabin at a swift walk her breasts bouncing with each jarring step. Sneaking up to the house was out of the question. It was in the wide open area and anyone inside would be able to see her aproach from one of the many windows set in it. It was larger and further than she thought as she approached, and as she reached the porch where the front door was she breathed in a sigh of relief as she realized that no one was home. There was a small piece of what looked to be very thick oddly shaped paper attached to the door and as she reached for the door handle her eyes were drawn to the writing on it. For a few seconds the squiggles on the page seemed to swim before her eyes then they snapped into clear focus and she was able to read a slight headache forming between her eyes. The words were clear when she read it and her mouth opened as she read the words written on it. 'Dear Tasha, I have left you this cabin that you may have your own place to rest from your trip. Make use of the clothes and feel free to rest the day away. I shall come by at first dusk to see you. Corlo'. It was a simple message and it filled her with ease, the place was hers from her perfect mate. Tasha's mind still dragged at the thoughts that her dreams were now reality as she entered the cabin taking the page with her. Kissing Corlo's name on the page she set it down on the table that she found inside.
The inside was a sparsely furnished two rooms. The main one that she had entered had a simple table of a single piece of wood, the underneath portion slightly smaller than the upper portion so that the three smaller logs set around it could be used as chairs and the legs of the person would fit underneath just fine. The table seemed slightly large as the top reached Tasha's breasts as she stood next to it, and it was clear that if she were to sit on one of the three logs her feet would not reach the ground. Seeing nothing else besides the three windows in the main room Tasha headed through the archway between rooms and looked around. The single window in this room let enough of the dawn light into the room to see what looked to be a grass patch in its own bin growing calmly. Aparently this was to be her bed since this seemed to be the only soft place in the whole cabin. Atop the short grass she saw the shorts and shirt that she remembered from her dreams. Shrugging to herself she dressed herself and sat down on the grass bed. Soft grass cushioned her as she sat and thought. Sleep eventually overcame her as she sat there and she laid down an arm under her head and slept in the dawn light peacefully.
A yellow light filterd through the window as the sun sat high in the sky waking Tasha up on her grassy bed. It was comfortable here and the orange light was gone. Standing up slowly she heard movement in the other room. Scared for her life in a strange place she spoke firmly in a strong voice hopeing to hope that whomever or whatever was in the other room was more scared than she. "You there! What are you doing in my home?" She commanded the sound. Seconds passed and the sound had vanished from the other room. As Taska approached the entryway into the other room she heard the voice of the one in her dreams. Burly and deep the male voice spoke relaxing all the tension from her.
"Hello Tasha, I am glad we are finally able to meet in person though you slept longer than I thought you would. You nearly slept clear to the second dusk." The voice of her perfect mate cheered Tasha and she ran into the other room to finally catch a glimpse of the man behind the voice of the person she loved more dearly than any other. Entering the main room she pulled up short when she saw the person the voice belonged to. He was larger than she was, a good five feet three, maybe taller. The muscles defining his arms and legs filled him out perfectly for his size. Everything in that respect was fine and normal to her, the thing that got her was his entire body was covered in a golden brown fur. She could see the features clearly at this close of a distance. His genetic makeup must have some small traits of cougar in him. His tail flicked behind him gently and each paw gave her a little smile as she looked him over. He was clothed simply in just a pair of shorts that were similar to hers. His sight took her by supprise at first but now that she saw him she realized that it seemed to fit and it just made what she could love even more. His voice seemed to purr with pleasure as she smiled at him. "I am sorry Tasha, I know it is a shock, but I had to for us to be together. The rules governing the two worlds link must be maintained. I am sorry."
Rushing into his arms Tasha's saphire hair streamed behind her almost as if it had a mind of her own. "It matters not Corlo. Now that I see you I know that I will love you even more. Though I do have one question. Now that I am here will I look like you or will I retain my form that I am used to?" In Tasha's mind she saw herself looking similar to Corlo and it did not distress her in the least. Holding him in her arms she felt complete for the first time in all the years since she had began dreaming the dreams of him. Looking into his eyes she saw slight puzzlement in her question to him and yet a thoughtfulness in those yellow slits that were his eyes. The feel of his heart in his chest where her head rested gave her support and she enjoyed the thump thump that each beat gave.
His voice was strong and clear when he spoke yet she could tell that it may be possibly distressing from the way he talked about it. "It is possible that you will change to match your inner self to the form that most truely reflects who you are. It is a simple matter to take care of, but your true self may not be what I look like." Corlo's voice trailed off and he hugged her softly. One of his paws reached up and patted her on the head as she snuggled into his furry chest. Time would tell just what she choose to do with herself, but she was certian that she wished to be with him whatever happened.
