Now enjoy this story, as it is written from my heart. :)

While Eurasia skipped along Pleasant Path, things seemed to start turning for the better. Along his way, he saw nothing but the best of nature, healthy plant life everywhere and a few trees here and there. After seeing how well maintained the natural life was here, Eurasia was finally able to figure out why it was called Pleasant Path. While he skipped with no care in the world, the croc Tyransarun followed not too far from behind, but kept hidden so that Eurasia would be oblivious to his stalking. His adventure following the swamp was only just a few hours ago, as the day was just past noon. Eurasia stopped for a second, as felt he felt his stomach rumble. He realized that he hadn't eaten anything since he left Heart's cave. At that very same moment, Tyransarun had a similar feeling, since while he was with the other crocs, he didn't eat much before hand.

His stomach was starting to become a bother as continued on, "Damn it...I have to get something to eat fast. I don't want to get too exhausted like last time. There doesn't seem to be any fruit bearing trees around here, and hunting isn't my best strong suit. What to do...", he thought, knowing that it is important to secure food quickly.

The limited trees along the path didn't provide much cover, yet for the stalking crocodilian would have to do. Ty pressed his back straight up against a wide oak as his stomach rumbled rather loudly. He gave out a low hiss, cursing the luck as it occurred nearly exactly as Eurasia had spoken. Ty's Tail slammed into the trunk, with it's limbs wobbling. The thud echoed faintly as acorns started pelting the grass. A few large birds flew from a tree from the thud, flying rather slow. They were so plump they never flew very fast or to high.

Eurasia turned back quickly as he heard a sound from behind. His eyes spotted some birds flying away from a tree, something that normally happens when something threatening is around their home. He decided its better to move on and to find food, as he spotted a hill in the distance. The map was taken out and checked over quickly, "Hmm...just over that hill, I should be able to see the next area, "Hero's Beach", which is named after someone. Who that is, I don't know, but it'll be fun!", he giggled.

The croc looked down at the acorns and scooped them all up into his maw. Within moments, his hunger subsided, but still required a much bigger meal. His eye caught Eurasia running up a hill, taking a moment to think about what was beyond it. He knew nothing from beyond that hill, so he decided continue sneaking to find out where this human was going. He got back down on all fours and crawled away.

By the time he made it to the top, he was exhausted, but gained a second wind as he marveled at the sight before him, "Whoa! This must be Hero's Beach! Its huge!", he exclaimed, as the beach seemed to stretch far. Feeling energized, he ran down the hill to the beach. The sun was at a perfect position to be at the beach, as he started to take off his shirt while running.

With Eurasia over the hill, Ty started to climb, as his claws dug into the earth. By time he had reached the very top, he was panting nearly out of breath since crocodiles never were meant for climbing inclines. His head peered over the top and lower jaw dropped at the view of the beach, "Oh my...." The sight of the vast beach and water in the distance had caused him to scream out those two words in awestruck.

Ty took a moment to rest up before planning to walk down to the sandy beach. Eurasia however wasted no time in getting to the beach as the water splashed onto the shore, he placed his belongings down and sat down to watch the ocean. Ty basically walked over, but still being careful to stay hidden from Eurasia's view. His eye caught Eurasia looking into his backpack for something. While still on all fours, he sneaked to a bush behind him, and took out some acorns he had saved into his maw. He began crunching on them until he got a good idea.

"Oh man, this beach is huge. Its a pretty big portion on the map, but its not that wide. Its length goes on for miles, but its only about 50 ft in wideness all the way. After a bit of time here, I should start heading west to this...? Huh?", he uttered, as his eyes met the next area on the map. It was huge, very big and had the color of black around it. That meant that it was the most dangerous place go. There was a forest between that area and the beach he was in, but it was colored green for moderately dangerous.

The name of the forest was "Green Greens", a pretty corny name he thought. He felt like laughing at the name, but suddenly felt something hit him from behind, "Uhh!...", he yelped. He quickly looked back to see who had done it. There was no one around except a bush, which did not look like the kind to throw stuff at him. He shrugged and put the map back into his pack.

Another acorn went flying over from bush at a wide arch. It would have appeared to be aimed at Eurasia's head this time, unlike the last hit which struck him in the back. Ty remained behind the bush content as the last of the acorns in his maw were chomped down. He gave out a semi loud churr appeared to come directly from the shrub.

"OW!", Eurasia yelled, as the acorn hit dead on. He was rubbing his head for a bit, starting to get annoyed at who or what was pelting him. Then some weird sound started coming from the bush, as he listened in closely. It was unfamiliar and very deep in tone.

The low churr shifted to a slightly annoyed growl, "What does it take for quiet? First it's the calls of annoying birds not far away and now the shrill cry of a bafoon.", he complained. The very tip of his tail could be seen just at the edge of the bush. The plant life by him had provided shade as, if he was resting out of the strong sun.

Eurasia heard the complaint, but wasn't sure of the voice. He nervously walked over, holding on to his sword, "Uhh...who's there?", he asked, in a high voice that showed that he was afraid. His eyes were squinting since the bush was in the direction of the sun.

Ty pushed off the sand to stand upright. The sun glared in Eurasia's view, making most of his form hard to distinguish, "Still a dense human. Forgetting one so easily.", he said, sounding ominous. His tail then swung to send accidentally sand into the air.

Eurasia's eyes bulged as he saw and heard this new foe. He felt like running away in fear, but then remembered that he can't keep running every time he came face to face with something scary. Gripping his sword tight, he stood up straight against the enemy, "I-I...don't know who you are...but I won't run!", he shouted as he lunged at him.

A step to the side was taken by the crocodile to dodge the lunge with minimal effort. His snout lowered and caught the wrist which held Eurasia's weapon. That simple move and alter in angles was enough for Eurasia to notice the figure was Ty, "So that's how a human treats one for saving their life. Put this stick away. I've seen how well you can use it.", he said, sounding a bit annoyed yet satisfied.

After struggling for a bit, Eurasia's view finally cleared up enough to notice that it was the croc Ty he had met recently. He was pinned down, but not in trouble as he first thought. His head turned to Ty's, as he started to feel embarrassed, "I-I-I...didn't mean it. I thought you were someone else, someone dangerous. The sun was also in my eyes, so I couldn't tell who you were.", he said, feeling dumb how he didn't notice it.

He turned his elongated jaw, as he released the grip, "Next time use those ears that jot from side of your head. Oh wait I forgot, humans have horrible senses.", he remarked. Ty started to slowly walk on all fours, make his way toward the salt water. The scent alone caused his nostrils to twitch, having been used to all life being in a fresh water swamp. He looked back to Eurasia, looking serious, "Why have you been following me?"

As he was finally free, he re-sheathed the sword and stood back up, "Following you? I've just been following my map as I always do. Besides, I got here first than you!", he replied. He ran back to his backpack and put it back on him, hoping to keep it safe this time around. His eyes kept to the croc, as Ty stopped and seemed to relax on the warm sand.

A low growl filled the air of the vast beach, "And what makes you think for sure were first one here? I was practically under that bush for who knows how long.", he replied in a gruff tone. He bent down and picked up one of the acorns which had bounced off Eurasia. It was tossed into the air, as his tail swung at the nut that fell to smack. A crack was heard as the acorn went sailing through the air, "That's just a demonstration.", he said, full of confidence.

Watching that made Eurasia realize that its better to be his friend, rather than enemy. He got up and ran over to him, taking a seat by him but not too close. A feeling of a possible friendship ran through his mind, since he did save him. He got down on his back and looked into the sky, "Well...anyway sorry about that Ty. You don't mind me by you right?", he asked, sounding very friendly in hopes that he would agree.

Head tilts enough for an eye to watch Eurasia sit then eventually lay not far off, "It's a free beach. Is no one that owns it. You can rest anywhere you wish.", he replied, looking away at the human. Ty sat down in the sand as eyes scanned over the vast sea of blue. A claw of pointer finger idly made designs in sand at side. Most were very crude versions of indeterminable creatures.

"So Ty...why did you save me? I really thought I was done for back there, but you saved me. There has to be a reason behind it if you saved a human and risked your life.", he asked, looking back at him while hugging his backpack.

A loud chuckle soon drifted into the air from his large maw as Ty shook head slowly. "Isn't it obvious? You'd have been to scrawny for everyone to chow down on. You have too much bone but not enough meat to back it up. Besides, how was I suppose to find out about how you received that scale." His eye narrowed some while producing a series of chirps and hisses, which Eurasia would not understand. Ty then looked back directly toward the churning water.

Eurasia was about to comment, but was stopped by his rumbling stomach, "Man...I'm hungry...", he said wearily, getting up and heading back up to where fruit bearing trees were on the beach. The sound of a sword being drawn and cutting could be heard, along with thuds on the ground. Footsteps leading back to Ty was heard, as Eurasia sat back down. Many bananas were in his arms, as he started to eat one, "Well, this will have to do. I'd give you some Ty, but crocs eat meat." he said, about to bite into his first meal in days.

By the time Eurasia went to gather the fruit, Ty had his eyes shut fully. As he peeled the banana, scent of it was quickly picked up as his snout turned. In almost an instant, his jaws swung open quickly and ate all of the bananas, even the one he had in his hand. In his jaw, Eurasia was still holding on to the banana as half of his arm being chomped on.

The sharp teeth and the wet interior of Ty's grip made him shudder a bit as he let the banana go, "Uh...T-ty. Why...did you eat my..bananas? I thought crocs ate only meat. And...could you not eat my arm? Please?!", he begged, staring at his half eaten arm.

His jaws slid off Eurasia's arm, drawing the bananas caught to the back of his mouth. A few teeth glided over skin, without any pressure so it wouldn't cut him. His head tilted back once Eurasia's arm was free, so he could swallow the bananas. In an instant, they were in his belly, "I'm.... different.", he replied as his tongue licked along his snout to clean any fruit from his scales and teeth.

The arm was pulled back and held tightly, staring at the croc. It was all sticky, but still attached as he hoped it would be. He lied on his back, thinking about what he meant by he was different. He was about to ask until something shadowed the beach. Eurasia looked around, until his eyes met the water in horror, "Oh...crap.."

Eurasia tapped his croc companion, since we was too speechless for words. The croc sturred for a bit, opening his eyes and ready to chomp the human for bothering him. He saw that the human's face seemed like something bad is coming. His eyes noticed the change in brightness on the beach and looked towards the sea.

Ty's jaw remained open at the sight. A sheet of water had risen directly ahead which was observed reaching higher and closer, "This'll hurt badly...... even worse for those without scales. Seems like your time ends here.", he said with a farewell tone. He pushed his arms and legs as deep into the sand as possible for a good grip. Nostrils clamped closed and eyes shut like a safe.

The wave swept through the beach, picking up Eurasia as he in vain tried to run away. As for the croc, too much sand was taken up by the wave and swept him up as well, as the beach quickly became droned in water.

-

About an hour later, the wave retracted and the beach returned to a state that seemed like the wave never came. Ty was left on the beach, but on his back as the sheer force of the wave knocked him out cold. Two figures walked on the beach to survey the damage.

In the darkness of Ty's mind, nothing could be felt nor could he move. All he heard was two voices echoing.

"Say Hun, whats that?"

"what is that over there...Isn't that a croc?"

"Oh my gosh! thats a...a thats a CROC!!! Wait...its not moving, is it dead?"

"I think so...no wait....he breathing"

"Yeah! It's like he's asleep!! But don't crocs sleep in the water to protect themselves! This one is just zonked out on the beach. But this one is out in the open, so he could've been knocked out by the huge wave eariler."

"Oh My...he is starting to wake up. Well...it seems that he is not dead after all. I'll go get something for the poor thing."

"Ok, I'll wait for you here. But if it wakes up and eats me, I'm blaming you entirely Dracos."

A laugh was then heard, followed by the flapping of wings.

Moments later, the long snout of the crocodile shifted just barely left and right. The tip of his tail started to very slowly flick, as Ty's muscles were slowly coming back to having slight control. His head was still ringing from wave, so he thought the voices which he heard were just imaginary. He attempted to lift off the sand, but was still weakened from the rough trip with caused his head to fall right back onto the drenched sand.

"Whoa it seems you've come back around there. You shouldn't move too much though, you seem pretty hurt and should rest.", said a voice from Ty's side.

A low growl starts to fill the air. Ty slowly rolled off of back covered in sand. His back was rising and falling due to breathing deeply, "Voice in my head just shush. No water will get best of me!", he said, thinking that the voice speaking to him is just a figment of his imagination.

The mysterious figure looked at the croc, a bit confused at what he is talking about, "Wha- what are you talking about? Water getting the best of you? Is that how you ended up like that?", it asked, sounding concerned about the croc.

"You are in my head. Yet I'll play along with the seemingly dim wited voice.", he responded sarcastically. Ty's arms shifted, trying to move but only to return down into the sand with a light thud. His eyes remained shut to deal with the aches, as he started to explain what had occurred, "A vast wave crashed upon this deserted shore. Me and apparently a human were caught easily off guard."

"Ummm, listen Mr. Croc I'm not in your head. Me & my mate found you like this. He left to get something to help while I was left to watch you.....Wait a human? Where is he???!!! he could be hurt!", said the mysterious figure. It took a moment to survey the beach to try to find this supposed human.

Ty's Left eye slowly opened, as he noticed a shadow on the sand, "Wait! You are a living one! Watch it! My jaws can snap bones!", he proclaimed, trying to sound threatening. He attempted to hiss but ended up coughing. It was no point on trying to hide his helpless, so he just shut his eye instead. He hardly had any strength at the time to even tempt to defend self from the unknown figure, "Fine. Just get it over with then. An out casted crocodile can't last all that long on own anyway.", he said, looking down at the sand.

The figure lowered it's face in front of the croc, with a soft look of pity in it's eyes, "Ohhhh hush you!", said the figure playfully. A hand was gently placed on the top of Ty's head and on his tail down to his back, "You're safe now, just relax... No one is going to harm you.", said the figure in a calm, soothing voice. The figure took yet another look around the beach, "Besides I don't think that there are a lot of creatures in these parts that would be interested in a croc.", said the figure, jokingly.

The croc's closed eyes flinched, as Ty was not expecting a gentle touch. He attempted yet another low hiss, only nothing came out, "You'd be surprised just how many fear us or want revenge with the pack mentality.", Ty said in a low tone. His eyes slowly reopened to finally get a view of what had not caused harm to him yet. In his view, a large male Orca was sitting by him, smiling at him cheerfully.

The Orca churred softly, "Well no one is here other then us and I can assure you I mean no ill will.", he said, trying to sooth him from his pains. He looked into Ty's opening eyes and smiled gently, "But still I think we should move you more away from the open shore, and near some trees. I know the sun bearing down on you cant help your predicament much", he advised, slowly getting up.

Ty's eyes looked up, as he now noticed orca's eyes, "Burning sunlight such as this is a killer for crocs in any situation.", he added, as his hands pushed into the sand slowly. His chest started to lift off the beach in an attempt to get upright, "What the heck were you and your mate doing out in this out of the way coast anyway?", he asked, placing his right hand on the orca's shoulder without even asking.

The Orca looked to the croc while helping him up and walking him away from the shore to the shade of some nearby trees, "Umm do you know where you are?? My mate and I were here on this beach because I own it! Yup, you my friend have found your way on "Hero's beach", and I'm Hero, at your service till you get better.", he explained, giving him a big smile.

A brief chuckle came from Ty, only to be shoved aside by a series of coughs, "So that human.... what's his name.... Ur...Eurasia lead to a claimed beach.... He truly is a dense...", he muttered softly to himself. He leaned his back against a tree in a seated position, "Tyransarun is my name."

"Tyransarun, its nice to meet you.", he commented, as Hero took a step back to inspect Ty's whole form. After surveying him for a few moments, he breathed a sigh of relief, "Hrrrmmmmm you don't seem to have any outside injuries. I think you just need to rest up and recover from the stress of what happened... What did happen by the way?", he asked curiously yet worriedly.

The croc's eyes closed slowly, as he tried to recall what he could remembered. A good deal was more of a blurr then anything, "Not surprised not hurt externally, since scales are very durable. All I remember was a massive wall of water just forming out of no where. My arms and legs were buried deeply in the sand, then POW! Almost as fast as jaws snapping shut.", then the sound of Ty snapping his jaws was added for effect.

Hero walked closer to him, "Ohhh my! Well I'm here now, so just rest up.", said Hero cheerfully. Suddenly, Hero reached over to rest a hand on Ty's belly and began to pet it softly, "You'll get better in a jiffy with me and my mate!", he said, rubbing gently and smoothly.

The back of Ty's head leaned against the tree, as a low growl escaped unintentionality in place of a churr, "It sound as if.....", but he trailed off. Ty never finished up what was about to say as slumber hit suddenly, yet the words, "'...want me to remain.", were rolling in his head. Also with the remaining words were thoughts of only which had shown compassion yet toward him.
