Anyways, heres chapter 9.

The atmosphere of the house was cold for a while after the disastrous results of Thanksgiving. Gideon's father spent most of his time in the living, meaning that Gideon spent most of his time not in the living room. If Gideon entered the same room Ron would storm out. Every time this happened Gideon's eyes would water.

Gideon couldn't stand his father hating him. It has been four days since his father had found out. He had talked to Raymond once since then, only to tell him that everything was ok, well sorta. Raymond was afraid that if he came to Gideon's house either he or Gideon would die. Gideon felt vice versa, so he spent most of his times at home hoping to get his dad to stand him again.

Gideon didn't think he was making much progress when he woke up that morning. He did his usual routine getting ready for school. He showered quickly, not doing a good job considering he was in one of the deepest states of sorrow, on the border of depression and insanity. He got dressed, not getting creative or caring if what he threw on matched.

He heard a small bark and smiled, one of the few times he did smile was when one of Malcise's puppies barked. They hadn't grown much but they had gotten to the point where they would bark at each other playfully, maybe hitting another on the head with a paw. They weren't ready to be weaned yet though so his dad still had to put up with them.

He had told Raymond he could have one, of course Raymond had to choose the cutest. Gideon knew that just meant he had good taste. That made Gideon smile even wider because Raymond had chosen him. Of course, the smile disappeared when he heard his dad call. "Gideon! I need to talk to you."

Despair slowly sunk into Gideon's mind as he reluctantly walked into the living room where his dad stood, with a look that said he was deep in thought. "Yes dad?" Gideon managed to squeeze out, his eyes watering.

"Sit down son." Gideon got hopeful when his dad said this. Was he finally going to accept him for who he was? "I've been thinking about you being g-gay," he stuttered over the word, "and I've decided that I don't need to lose another son that way."

"So do you accept me for who I am?" Gideon asked.

"I'm saying I will try." Ron told him, before smiling and hugging him, a hug that Gideon returned with twice as much enthusiasm.

"Thanks dad." Gideon started crying out of joy.

"You know, I haven't properly met Raymond yet." he said with a smile.

Gideon just smiled back and said, "I'll invite him over tonight."

Gideon was just sad that it was Wednesday. He wouldn't be able to celebrate his father's understanding tonight. That will just have to wait until Friday. He still hadn't taken Raymond out on that date he wanted to take him on.

He would have to make plans for that tonight. "I'm going to be late for school. Bye dad." He yelled as he ran out the door.

"Bye son!" He yelled back, just as the door slammed.

Gideon was running as fast as he could, faster than normal because of his excitement. He quickly made it to school. His friends, who had been worried about him for the past few days, noticed his sudden happiness and all asked the same question at the same time, drawing laughs from Dean and Kevin, who it was normal for them to say the same thing at the same time.

"Why are you so happy?" they had asked before bursting into laughter.

"My dad finally stopped being bitchy about me being gay and accepted it." Gideon said with a smile.

"That's good man." Kevin said.

"I'm happy for you." Pauli added.

"Anyways, have you guys seen Raymond? I need to talk to him." Gideon said.

They just looked at each other and said, "He's been kinda depressed. He's normally in the bathroom crying before class."

Gideon looked concerned and started his search of the bathrooms. He hated the fact that this school had five bathrooms, each on different floors. He just happened to find him on the last floor. He was in a stall crying.

Gideon walked up to the stall and knocked. "Raymond? You in there?"

He heard sniffling and Raymond said, "Gideon? Is that you?"

"Ya. It's me. Open up." he heard a scrambling and the lock opened. Raymond flew out and hugged Gideon.

"What's up hun?" Gideon asked.

"You stopped talking to me, I was afraid you were going to break up with me." Raymond sniffled.

Gideon looked shocked and realized he hadn't explained to him why he was staying away. "Of course not. I just thought it would be better if I let my father accept who I was before you came over again. Sorry for scaring you."

Gideon just kissed him and heard someone behind him say, probably a new kid since he was retarded enough to say something about Gideon being gay. "Oh look, two fags making out in the bathroom."

Gideon started growling and turned around, he hated that word, just to realize that it wasn't just one new kid, who was incredibly buff as he was, but all the kids were just as buff. Gideon was suddenly scared as he realized there were five incredibly buff kids who had locked the bathroom door.

The walls were sound proof too. Gideon and Raymond were beyond scared. The gang's conversation was still going on. "Who says we give them what they want?"

They heard that and were instantly wondering what he meant. It was also met with nods of approval from the other gang members. The biggest one, obviously the gang leader, turned around and said, "Take off your pants you fags."

Gideon and Raymond were still trembling and Gideon asked, "What?" It was hardly coherent due to how hard he was trembling.

"Take. Off. Your. Pants." The leader said again, slower this time as if he was talking to people that were slow in the head.

Gideon and Raymond hesitated before doing what they were told. Why get hurt any more than they had to? "Good fags." The leader said again. "Now bend over against the stall."

Gideon and Raymond had no choice but to obey. The two gang members walked up behind them. Their pants already off and both were sprouting huge members that were fully erect. In class, Dean and Kevin were talking, asking each other if they had seen Gideon or Raymond. They got worried and couldn't wait until the end of class so they could go look for them. Honors Geometry seemed to last twice as long as they were watching the clock, worrying about their friend.

Dean went up and Kevin went down, Kevin got down the stairs faster than dean could get up the stairs so he was done searching first. He texted Dean saying that they were up there just as Dean was getting on the fifth floor.

Dean quickly ran to the bathroom and noticed it was locked. Dean was instantly worried, the things that could have happened flying through his head were all of the possible outcomes. He knew that something bad had happened, even though he knew that some possibilities were good he just knew something bad had happened.

He quickly ran to the nearest janitors office and opened it, laughing at the fact that someone had put tape over the lock to mess with the janitor who tried to lock it. He found the janitor's ring of keys and quickly found the one for the fifth floor bathroom. He ran through the now empty fifth floor hallway, slipping on the slick floors.

Obviously the janitor had mopped the floor in the time it took Dean to find the key, Kevin was at the bathroom door, pounding on it. Dean quickly ran up and said, "I have the key."

Kevin just took the key and slammed it in the lock, turning as he pushed it in. The door opened with a click and he swung the door open to see Gideon and Raymond, naked and unconscious, with blood and cum flowing from their rears.

Dean instantly took out a cell phone and called 911 while Kevin ran to find a teacher. In a few minutes the nurse was there, checking over Raymond and Gideon for any other injuries than their rears.

"I don't know, I opened the door and they were on the floor, unconscious and bleeding." Dean replied.

The cop just nodded and walked away. Dean and Kevin were still panicking, Kevin was close to a panic attack and Dean was cursing Kevin's anxiety problem. Luckily the nurse had some of Kevin's anxiety medicine in her office.

"I can't believe this happened." Dean told him simply.

"Neither can I. Now I'm just wondering who did it." Kevin said.

"They must have been new or stupid to mess with Gideon considering he's got the tennis, basketball, and track team behind him." Dean said.

Kevin just nodded. The conversation was obviously calming him down. "Come on, let's go to lunch." Dean told him. "We should probably tell Xatrin, Paulie, and Trevor."

Kevin nodded again and turned around quickly, hating to see Gideon like this. Gideon had been his best friend for a while now, and he couldn't stand to see him like that. He quickly walked down to lunch, his expression grim. He was trying to forget the way Gideon had looked but his mind kept pushing the picture to the front, the details just as vivid as if he was actually staring at the scene. Dean had to run to catch up with him.

"Are you alright?" Dean said, grabbing his shoulder and forcefully turning him towards him. Kevin had always been emotional and open with Dean but not any of his other friends. He had only kept one secret from Dean. He had tried his hardest to keep it a secret, and he would, at least until he could talk to Gideon again.

Dean could see that Kevin was almost in tears at seeing his best friend like that and said, "Dude, he's gonna be alright."

"I know." Kevin barely got out, "I just can't help seeing people like that, especially my best friend."

Dean and Kevin had always had some sort of a connection between their minds and Dean could tell there was something else going on here, but he didn't push, not wanting to make Kevin go into a worse state than he was already in.

"Maybe you should go see the nurse. I don't think you should go through the rest of school after nearly having a panic attack like that."

Kevin just nodded in agreement. He walked slowly to the nurses office, his shoulders slumped. Dean watched as Kevin slowly walked towards the stairway before following him down, making sure that he went to the nurses office. Kevin was always clumsy after an experience like that.

Kevin made it to the nurses office and Dean nodded before heading downstairs. The time was nearly up for lunch so he just went to the table where his friends were eating.

"What took ya?" Paulie asked as he approached the table.

"I was looking for Gideon with Kevin, he was uhh," Dean hesitated, thinking of how to tell them what happened, "he was raped in the bathroom."

His friends stopped eating and looked at him, "You have to be joking." Xatrin said.

"I'm not, I sent Kevin to the nurse's office because he nearly had a panic attack." Dean explained, "He and Raymond were locked inside the fifth floor bathroom."

Paulie, Trevor, and Xatrin just looked at him in shock. Paulie shook her head and said, "Do they at least know who did it?"

"No." Dean said, "The rapists were gone before we found them."

Paulie just shook her head and murmured, "They better hope no one finds out they did it. They're going to get their asses beat."

Xatrin just nodded and pushed his food away. "Well, I lost my appetite."

Trevor just nodded and pushed his nearly empty tray away from him. "Well, at least we can see Gideon later. Did they say if they're being taken to a hospital or not?"

Dean nodded and told him, "They are. We can see them later, hopefully they will be awake."

Paulie shook her head again and said, "Gideon's life has to suck." Dean, Trevor, and Xatrin just looked at her, confused expression on her face. "Oh come on. First, Raymond gets hit by a car, then he gets shot in the shoulder, then his dad finds out he's gay because Raymond forgot to tell his mom that his dad didn't know yet, now he and Raymond get raped in a bathroom at school." She explained.

"True," Dean nodded, "ever since he met Raymond tragedy after tragedy has happened in his life."

Xatrin nodded and they all sat in silence for the rest of lunch. They all went to their separate classes, waiting for the day to end so they could see Raymond and Gideon.

About an hour later, in the hospital, Gideon and Raymond woke up in the same room. Gideon looked around groggily before looking at Raymond and saying, "Where are we?"

Raymond just shrugged and said, "I don't know." Then everything flooded back to the two of them and they almost started crying. They had both lost their virginity to rapists. The doctor came in and said, "Ahhh, You two are awake." he didn't smile, catching their mood. "There is a good thing. Neither of you have any sort of sexually transmitted diseases."

This made Raymond and Gideon happy about one thing that didn't turn out terrible in their lives. "Oh and another good thing."

Raymond and Gideon just looked at the doctor and said, "What?"

"They caught the people who raped you." The doctor said.

"The cops?" Gideon asked.

"No, kids at your school. They were bragging about at lunch, apparently, and were overheard." the doctor said.

Gideon just laughed and asked, "How much damage was done to them?"

"If you must know, 4 out of 5 ended up here with concussions and at least one broken arm. The fifth one, most likely the gang leader, ended up with both of his legs broken." The doctor smiled at the looks of joy on their faces.

A cop came in a few minutes later and asked Gideon and Raymond a question, "Are these the ones?" He held up a picture and Gideon and Raymond nodded. He asked, "Are you going to press charges?"

Gideon and Raymond looked at each other and Gideon said, "Yes, they raped us."

And Raymond added, "And stole our virginity."

The cop just nodded and wrote something down on a clipboard. "That's all I needed to know." The cop and the doctor left.

Gideon just looked at Raymond and said, "You know, we've both been in here a lot lately."

Raymond just nodded. Gideon sighed and said, "Damnit!" Raymond looked at him curiously and asked, "What?"

Gideon sighed again and said, "This is the second time I planned a date and then wound up in the hospital." Gideon sighed again and leaned back, disappointed that no matter what he did he couldn't get a date planned without getting injured somehow.

"Planned a date without telling me eh?" Raymond asked.

"Ya." Gideon sighed.

"Where?" Raymond asked eagerly.

Gideon just smirked and said, "You'll have to wait and see. If we get out of here by 7 o'clock tonight."

The doctor walked back in and smiled, "Be excited then. Since you have no injuries you're free to go now."

Gideon was confused and Raymond asked, "Were you spying on us?"

The doctor just said, "I only heard the end."

"Oh." Raymond said, "Can we have our clothes?"

The doctor pointed to a chair where their clothes were and left.

Gideon smiled and got up, stretching. "Let's get dressed so I can go pick up some new clothes." Raymond just whimpered because Gideon wouldn't tell him. Gideon just laughed.

"Come on! Please tell me." Raymond told him.

"Nope! You have to wait." Gideon said then laughed at the expression on Raymond's face. They quickly got dressed and ran out of the room. Apparently, they had been in the room long enough for school to end and Gideon's friends had been outside the door. Dean got smacked and the face and Paulie, Kevin, Xatrin, and Trevor burst into laughter.

"Dats not bunny." Dean said, his words distorted because he was holding his nose.

Gideon just said, "Oh my god, sorry Dean." He grabbed Dean's hand and pulled him up.

"We weren't expecting them to let you out so early." Kevin said, wiping the tears of laughter out of his eyes.

"We didn't get injured besides..." Gideon stopped himself and shuddered.

Raymond looked like he was going to burst into tears again after being reminded.

Paulie just said, "If you don't want to talk about it you don't have to. Heck, I don't want to talk about."

Gideon just nodded and looked at Kevin, "Do you have your van?"

Kevin nodded and said, "Why?"

"I need to run some errands." Gideon told him and Raymond looked hopeful. "You aren't allowed to come!"

Raymond looked sad but said, "Fine."

Kevin just looked confused and said, "Ok, let me drop everyone else off." They all piled into Kevin's van and Kevin took them home.

"See ya later Raymond." Gideon said before Kevin drove off.

Kevin thought for a second then said, "Hey Gideon, before your errands, can I talk to you."

Gideon looked confused for a second before saying, "Sure."

Kevin thought about how to word what he was going to say. He decided on it and said, "How did you know you were gay?"

Gideon looked shocked and said, "I was attracted to men. Duh."

Kevin just nodded and asked, "Can you please not tell anyone what I'm about to say?"

Gideon could guess what he was going to say so he said, "Ok."

"I think I might be gay." By this time Kevin had pulled over to the side of the road and he burst into tears.

"Nobody cares Kevin." Gideon told him.

"My parents do. Why do you think you have never come over before?" Gideon thought about this before realizing he hadn't been to Kevin and Dean's house before.

"Kevin, tell your parents. If they don't like it, you can always stay at my house." Kevin sniffled.

"Thanks Gideon." Kevin said.

"Kevin, I can't believe you wouldn't talk to Dean or Xatrin. What made you ask the question anways?" Gideon said.

Kevin blushed and said, "I uh, I think I like Xatrin." He blushed even harder then.

Gideon just laughed and said, "I still can't believe you haven't talked to any one of our friends. Not one of them cares. They know I'm gay."

Kevin just said, "I didn't want to talk about it until now."

Gideon understood. He hadn't wanted to people to know until he had saved Xatrin from getting the shit kicked out of him. Gideon laughed and said, "You should ask Xatrin out on a date." Gideon laughed ever harder when Kevin blushed. "I know he will say yes." Gideon said in a sing song voice.

Kevin just said, "Ok, I will." before turning on the car and driving away. "Where are we going anyways."

"Clothes shopping." Gideon looked at Kevin's face and laughed. He obviously didn't want to go clothes shopping. Gideon thought for a second and said, "You know, Kevin. Why don't you ask Xatrin out on a date tonight. You and Xatrin can double date with Raymond and I."

Kevin looked even more embarrassed before saying, "I don't have any money."

"I'll pay. I've got more than enough." Gideon told him.

"Really?" Kevin asked.

"Ya, all I have to do is change my reservation from two people to four and I'm good." Gideon told him.

Kevin smiled and said, "Sure. Thanks."

They got to the clothes store and Gideon quickly got the clothes he had put on Lay-Away last time he was here.

He walked back to Kevin's van and said, "Let's go to Xatrin's and you can ask him out."

Kevin looked nervous as they pulled up to his house and said, "I don't know if I can do this."

Gideon just smiled encouragingly and said, "Go ask him. I'm sure he'll say yes." Kevin looked like he was going to protest but Gideon pushed him out of the van and followed to make sure he asked.

Kevin looked like he was going to run away so Gideon said, "Oh for crying out loud!" He pounded on the door, holding Kevin in place.

Xatrin's mother came to the door and asked, "Yes?"

"Is Xatrin here?" Kevin asked. Gideon was happy that Kevin said something for himself.

"Yes he is, hold on." She called Xatrin and he came to the door.

Xatrin looked surprised and asked, "Yes?"

Kevin still looked like he wasn't going to so Gideon nudge him encouragingly. "H-hey Xatrin." Kevin stuttered. "I was wondering." he paused.

"Yes?" Xatrin asked.

"Do you want to go out with me?" Kevin blurted out getting a shocked look from Xatrin.

"Umm, Sure." Xatrin said, getting more excited. "I umm, didn't know you were gay."

Gideon just smiled and said, "I don't think he knew. Kevin will pick you up at 7:00. Oh and dress nice." Gideon's smile grew wider as he saw how excited Xatrin really was.

Gideon pulled out his cell phone when they got into the van and dialed the number to the Fur Pride. There were three rings before someone picked up. "Hello, this is the Fur Pride, how may I help you."

Kevin heard the person on the other side of the phone and looked shocked. "Yes, are there any open tables for four at 7 tonight?"

"Let me check." Hold music started playing and Kevin took his chance.

"You're going to pay for four people at the Fur Pride?" Kevin asked, still shocked.

"I've been saving up for a while. I have enough." Gideon just smiled.

"We do have an open table tonight. Who should I put the reservation under?" the person on the other side of the phone said.

"Put it under Gideon Restin, please." Gideon told him.

"Ok, thank you for calling." the man hung up and Gideon smiled. He looked at the clock and said, "Do you have anything nice to wear?"

Kevin just shook his head and Gideon laughed. "Come to my house, I might have something that will fit." Kevin looked really grateful. They drove to Gideon's house and went inside. They snuck up to Gideon's room and Clarice caught them.

"Whatchya doin?" she asked.

"Kevin needs nice clothes to wear and we're seeing if I have anything that might fit him." Gideon said.

"You will, he's about the same height as you." Clarice looked at him. "Your Kevin right?" Kevin just nodded. "If you need to do anything to the clothes, talk to me. Don't want you ruining them.

Gideon just said, "Whatever."

Gideon and Kevin went into Gideon's room and Gideon started going through his old clothes. He pulled out a pair of black pants and a long sleeve black shirt. He walked over to Kevin and held them up to them. "They should fit. We just need to cut a hole for your tail and a little bit off the sleeves."

They walked over to Clarice's room and knocked. Clarice came out and said, "What?"

"Can you put a tail hole in these pants for Kevin's tail and then cut a little bit of the sleeves off?" Gideon asked her.

"Sure." Clarice smiled. "Who are you going on a date with anyways Kevin?"

"Oh." Kevin said, "Umm..."

Gideon cut him off and said, "Him and Xatrin are going on a double date with Raymond and I."

Clarice just smiled and said, "How many gay people do you hang out with Gideon?"

"Not many." Gideon said.

Clarice smiled again and said, "I'll get these done." Clarice sniffed and said, "You might want to take a shower. You smell."

Gideon blushed and rushed to the bathroom. Kevin didn't know what to do so he just watched Clarice work. Gideon was done with his shower quickly and said, "Kevin if you want to take a shower you can, Clarice should be done with your clothes soon."

Kevin replied, "Thanks." before going to the bathroom. He undressed, awkwardly because he wasn't used to taking showers in another person's house. He quickly jumped in the shower and turned on the water. It was already at the right temperature so he just showered. He was thinking about Xatrin and noticed that he had a hard on.

He didn't feel comfortable about pawing off in Gideon's shower but he didn't want to go on a date with a hard on, so he imagined Xatrin, stripping the Siberian Tiger of his clothes in his imagination. Kevin blushed and quickly got dressed. He noticed Clarice was looking at him when he was done and blushed again. "Don't be embarrassed. You look awesome." Gideon made a Hmph! sound and she said, "You both look good."

Gideon had a satisfied smile and said, "Kevin, you do look good." he whistled sharply and Kevin blushed again.

Gideon looked at the clock again and said, "Come on, it's time to go."

Kevin and Gideon rushed to his Kevin's van. Kevin quickly drove to pick Raymond up since he lived closer. Raymond rushed outside, yelling a quick goodbye to his mother. Raymond climbed in the van next to Gideon in the middle van. Gideon whistled and said, "You look good Raymond."

Raymond blushed and murmured, "Thanks, you look good too." Raymond added the last part after looking at Gideon. Raymond looked at Kevin and asked, "What's Kevin doing?"

"We're double dating tonight." Gideon said as they pulled up to Xatrin's.

"Well who. is.. he... going out with." Raymond started speaking slower as Xatrin walked out of his house and got in the car next to Kevin. "I didn't know you were gay Kevin."

Kevin let out a nervous chuckle before saying, "I didn't know until today." Kevin looked at Xatrin and said, "You look gorgeous."

Xatrin blushed and said, "You look gorgeous too." Xatrin leaned over and hugged Kevin. "Thanks for asking me out." Kevin leaned over and hugged Xatrin back. "Where are we going anyway."

"We're going to..." Kevin's mouth was covered before he finished his sentenced.

"They aren't allowed to know until we get there." Gideon smiled at the look of agony at not knowing on Raymond's face.

Kevin just turned on the van and headed towards the restaurant. Kevin was driving over the speed limit so they got there pretty fast. Xatrin and Raymond gasped when Kevin parked. "We're eating here?" they both asked at the same time, then looked at each other and giggled.

"Ya." Gideon and Kevin said at the same time. Everyone burst out laughing before getting out and walking in. It was exactly 7 O'clock as they walked in and Gideon walked up to the podium where a waiter was standing, waiting for the next people.

Gideon walked up and said, "I have a reservation for four, under Gideon Restin."

The waiter looked at a list and nodded, "Right this way."

Gideon, Kevin, Raymond, and Xatrin followed the waiter to their table and were handed menus. Kevin, Raymond, and Xatrin looked at the menu and gasped. "Everything is so expensive." Raymond said. Raymond and Gideon had sat across from each other and Xatrin and Kevin were sitting across from each other.

Gideon just laughed and said, "Order anything you want. Dinner's on me."

Raymond, Xatrin, and Kevin felt bad about ordering expensive food so they just settled for steak, which was one of the cheapest things on the menu. Gideon ordered the same thing. There wasn't much on the menu that Gideon could eat without getting fat.

The waiter came around and took their orders. For drinks they all just ordered Dr. Pepper or Coke since everything else on the menu was alcoholic. They ended up talking while they were waiting for their food.

"Thanks for inviting me Kevin." Xatrin said, not really believing it was a date.

Kevin looked shocked before leaning over and taking Xatrin's paw. "I wasn't just inviting you. I was asking you out on a date."

Xatrin was really excited at this, "Really?"

"Of course." Kevin said, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek lightly. Xatrin blushed before kissing Kevin on his cheek.

Raymond and Gideon both said, "Awww!"

"They are so cute together." Raymond said.

"I know they are." Gideon said, "But we're cuter." He added the last part with a smile before kissing Raymond full on the lips. He saw looks of disgust pointed at them and just kissed Raymond harder.

"Why did you do that?" Raymond asked.

"We were getting dirty looks." Gideon explained.

Raymond just nodded his head as the food got there. They each took their steak, which came with a baked potato. Raymond, Kevin, and Xatrin smothered it in A1 Sauce. Gideon just looked at them with disgust before taking a bit of his steak. "How can you ruin steak like that?" He asked.

"It doesn't ruin it. It just adds flavor." Raymond told him.

"Not this steak, this steak his better without it. Here, take a bite of some without anything on it." Gideon cut off a small peace and impaled it with his fork. He held it in front of Raymond's face and Raymond hesitated before using his muzzle to pick the piece off of it. This brought more looks of disgust from tables around them and Gideon just held up his middle finger.

Raymond tasted and said, "You're right, this steak is delicious without A1."

Raymond took a bite out of his own steak and sighed, it tasted almost the same with the A1 on it but it just ruined it a little bit. They all started eating, Kevin, Xatrin, and Raymond trying not to get A1 on their clothes. Once they all finished Gideon called a waiter over for the bill. Raymond got a look at it and whistled quietly. "Jeez, 28$ for four steaks."

Gideon smirked and said, "It's good steak." He pulled out his wallet and gave 28$ to the waiter for the bill then gave him and extra 20$ for a tip.

The waiter said, "T-thank you." He stammered a bit because he didn't get tips like that often.

Gideon just smiled and walked away. They piled back into Kevin's van and Gideon whispered into Kevin's ears. Kevin looked shocked as he started the van and started driving. In about ten minutes they were at a very nice ice cream place across the street from the park.

Gideon told Kevin to turn on the air conditioning and wait for a second. He ran inside really fast as Kevin turned on the air conditioning. It was warm outside for a December night, at least 70 degrees, but he didn't know why he had to turn on the air conditioning, probably to keep the ice cream cold, he thought.

Gideon came out later with a person who worked there. They were carrying four ice cream sundaes. They gave one to each of the people before Gideon got back in. Gideon told Kevin to drive a little bit into the park. At some point he told Kevin to stop.

By then they had all finished their ice cream. Gideon got out and said, "Follow me." They all got out and followed Gideon through the woods to a small clearing. There was a clear sky and since they were away from the city lights and everything else you could see the stars perfectly.

Gideon walked over to a small hill and slowly got down on the crowd. He lay down on the hill and Raymond joined him, cuddling into his smooth scales. Kevin and Xatrin did the same, Kevin being bigger than Xatrin was being cuddled by Xatrin.

"How did you find this place?" Kevin asked Gideon.

"Clarice showed it to me when I was 7." Gideon told him. He heard Raymond snore and laughed slightly. "Apparently Raymond was tired."

"Maybe we should go." Kevin said.

Gideon nodded and picked Raymond up, carefully so he didn't wake him up. They slowly walked back to Kevin's van. Once there Gideon slowly got in, trying not to wake Raymond up. Kevin slowly drove towards Raymond house. He pulled onto the street and said, "Oh no."

Raymond woke up at the flash of red and blue lights. He looked at his house and barely recognized it. It was charred black and half of it was burnt down. There was a fire truck, an ambulance, and at least four police cars outside his house.

Raymond started crying when he saw a body bag being loaded into the back of the ambulance.
