Holmecroft School opens its gates to furries and scalies for the first time, and Alfie and his friends have some surprises waiting for them when the headmaster lets the new species in.

Up to now, Holmecroft School has been a pretty quiet place. The recent uncovering of a secret between two brothers caused a bit of a stir, but nothing major. In fact, it died down pretty quickly. Unfortunately, this is due to Holmecroft being a pretty bland place. But in recent years, many different races and species have moved into the town, making it a much more diverse place to live. And today is a Tuesday. The Tuesday that Holmecroft School opens to non-human anthropomorphic beings.

"WHAT??" Exclaims Alfie.

"Yeah, they're opening it up to furries and scalies and everything in between now!" His older brother, Dan confirms.

Alfie is ecstatic. The news that his school will be open to non-humans from today forward has given him the energetic high he needs after the recent events: losing his virginity to his pet dog, his brother getting involved, and then the entire school finding out about that. These past few days have been ridiculously hectic for Alfie, and they have all blurred into one simultaneous memory. Now and again, he gets random mental flashes of his new experiences, sometimes with regret, and sometimes with pleasure.

At the school gates, Alfie and Dan notice the headmaster standing on the top step of the entrance to the school with a podium and microphone in front of him. Once the chatter had been finally silenced and everyone was still, he began the speech.

"Ladies and gentlemen, first off, thank you all for being punctual as usual. I am delighted to say that our attendance has been outstanding this week despite the events I'm sure you're all aware of. Now, Holmecroft School has been the education centre of the town for almost a century now, and has had to adapt to changing times not just every decade, or every year, but every day. And today I am proud to say that Holmecroft will become the capital of diversity as we open our arms wide to our new citizens..."

"Can't he just get to the point?" Stirs Alfie's friends Tom in a raspy whisper.

"And so, on this Tuesday morning, I am privileged to say: Welcome to Holmecroft." He beckons, aiming for something behind the crowd of people, just outside the school gates.

Everybody turns around and their excitement bursts as a swarm of furries and scalies comes rushing in through the gates. The pupils rush up to the approaching crowd in what looks like a war charge, but when the two crowds strike each other, there is nothing but a warm greeting from the students of Holmecroft School. The two crowds eventually merge and conjoin to make one enormous congregation between humans, furs and scalies.

With a beaming smile, the headmaster resumes his speech, "Thank you all for greeting our new students in such a delightful manner! We welcome you all to Holmecroft. Now hurry up and get inside," he jokes, "You're late for registration!"

A muttering and half-laugh comes from the audience, typical reactions for a teacher joke.

At the end of the day, Alfie, Dan and Tom wait at the gates for their new friends, Ayla and Jess. They'd made friends during lunchtime and agreed to all go round to Alfie and Dan's place after school. Ayla is a beautiful husky-girl. Her parents are scientists and during an experiment, Ayla's mum was genetically damaged. When her parents found out about the pregnancy, they concluded that Ayla would not survive being born. But instead, she miraculously survived and was born a healthy baby. She did, however, have a genetic defect. Her fur was turned bright white with blue pearlescent flecks. Of course, not a single person considers this a defect; it's actually the main reason people find her attractive.

Jess is a lizard-girl. She is rather shy, as she was bullied in her previous school for her tendency to change colour depending on her mood. Her scales are usually a deep green and she sat solitary at the corner of the lunch hall until Alfie came up to her and brought her out of her shell. Now that she has the first friends she's had in years, she feels a lot more comfortable about herself. Alfie didn't want to admit it yet, but he already had a crush on her.

The five friends walk to Alfie and Dan's house together, Alfie and Jess taking the lead and Dan, Tom and Ayla trailing slightly behind, deep in conversation. Once they are home, Alfie and Dan's parents greet the girls with delight (Alfie's dad winks at him as he leaves the house for work). Alfie's mum stays for a little while to get to know the girls a bit, but she too has to rush off to work leaving the friends to themselves. Alfie and Dan know their kitchen inside out, so cook a meal for everyone. Over dinner, the boys learn that Ayla was a model in her previous town, and used to pose for the local magazine - the boys are not surprised by this, in fact in only strengthend their desires. Jess tells them of her past, and their supportive comments rais her self esteem in record time.

At the end of the meal, Dan decides that it is time to make things interesting. He brings out a glass bottle and places it in the middle of the table.

"Whoever this points to after it is spun has to reveal a secret about themselves. And remember: everything that happens in this house, stays in this house." He gives a quick look to Alfie who approves. He then spins the bottle and it lands on Ayla.

"Well, er... I once pretended to be a human in a hallowe'en costume just to get free candy," she nervously admits. The others burst out with laughter, and she joins them before spinning the bottle. It lands on Dan.

"Oh, well, I once spied on Alfie when he had a girlfriend round. You should've seen how awkward it was! Urgh!" The others just laugh, and Alfie sits there with a sulky expression. Dan just looks at him with a severe lack of sympathy. "Come on, lil bro, it's just a game."

"OK then," Alfie starts, "well there was this one time that Dan bought a dildo and tried to hide it in his bedroom but I found it hidden in his wardrobe."

"Oi!" Defends Dan. "It's supposed to be your own secrets!"

"Wait, you bought a dildo?" Questions Ayla.

"Yes," admits Dan with a sigh.

"Can I see it?" Ayla looks at Jess.

"Go on, Dan," encourages Alfie.

The anger and embarrassment are clearly on Dan's face, but he eventually gives in and takes everyone upstairs. He pulls the dildo out of the bottom compartment of his cupboard and plonks it on the bed.

"Wow!" Ayla and Jess exclaim. They didn't realise it was a horse dildo.

"Yup, my prized possession," says Dan.

"Can we try it?" Jess asks, a little embarrassed.

Tom interjects, "Yeah, let's all have a go," before Dan can answer.

Dan looks at Alfie, who just shrugs with intentions of agreeing to go ahead with it.

"Well," says Dan, "that's not exactly where I thought we'd get to when I got that glass bottle out!"

A collective jest from the group signifies that they are comfortable in each others' presence, some on another level. As they laugh together and the excitement builds in them all, Alfie can't help but gaze lustily at Jess, and his mind forces her clothes off her in the sexiest vision he's had since he can remember. But Alfie wants to make it a reality, and when everyone calms down again, he makes his move.
