** It is so hard trying to be the best Pokemon Master, having to capture Pokemon all over the world. I am a champion of the Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh regions by the name of Mark. I only had my Feraligatr left and I haven't even faced her Garchomp yet. Her Milotic was easy to beat, then her Lucario was knocked out with ease, Togekiss and Spiritomb were difficult but beat them eventually. Now I had one more test, her Garchomp. With amazing agility and power, it was her best Pokemon, but her Garchomp's agility would be her greatest weakness. I used that to my advantage and got the win against Cynthia.**

** Now the present. I am at the Pokemon Center in Veilstone City in the waiting room while my friend is being checked on. During the match with Garchomp, he sustained poison and multiple bite marks on his neck and right arm. Coming to the Pokemon Center took almost three hours by foot and he almost died from the poison. ** For the second time in five minutes, I was getting even frustrated because of Feraligatr's recklessness. If I lose my best friend, I will never be the same. When Nurse Joy notified me she had got Feraligatr, I took his claw and walked to my room sobbing quietly, hoping Feraligatr didn't hear. When I got back inside my room, Arcanine and Charizard's ears perked up hearing me walk inside. The first thing they both noticed were my eyes. They were red and wet. They rushed over to me to try and comfort me. Charizard asked, "What's wrong? Did something bad happen?" I spoke softly. "I need to talk to Feraligatr.........alone." "What happened, Mark?" Arcanine said worriedly. **

** "I guess you should know. Nurse Joy said that Feraligatr shouldn't battle for a few days. Said that he still had poison inside him but it's healing." Charizard said confidently, "That's it? That's the reason you come in here all grumpy?" Mark got upset at his remark and spoke sarcastically, "Oh. I'm so sorry for being so grumpy since my friend here almost died for a fifth time and was on the brink of it. I'm so sorry I care too much for you guys." Charizard's smile disappeared and changed into a more worried and frightened look. "Is that really true?" Mark then said, "Nurse Joy said if Feraligatr battles again before the poison is gone from his body, the poison will react and spread through his body again......and......." Mark was gritting his teeth trying to bottle up how he was really feeling about his best friend. "And.....what?" Arcanine said, leaning in close to Mark. "And......She won't be able to help him next time." Mark couldn't handle holding his emotions in check anymore and broke down to the floor crying.**

** Arcanine didn't know what to say. One of his comrades was on the brink of death once again and Feraligatr was looking like he was begging to kill himself. Mark looked shocked at Arcanine's request, knowing Arcanine doesn't like being in his pokeball unless it was urgent. Mark nodded at his request and put Charizard and Arcanine back in their pokeballs. When he put them in their pokeballs, he looked at their pokeballs wondering what they were thinking, but decided to leave it alone. He put the pokeballs on the table near his bed and went to lay down in his bed, head looking up at the ceiling, wondering what to do about Feraligatr. Should he keep him here or should he send him back to Professor Oak's lab? He really didn't want to send him back to the lab, so he'll see what Feraligatr is going to do first before he makes his decision.**

** Feraligatr saw Mark laying down on the bed with his pajamas on and decided now's the time. Feraligatr walked over and asked Mark, "You mind if I lay down with you?" Mark heard his request, but didn't know if he should accept it or not. Mark really cares for Feraligatr, but what he just heard from Nurse Joy, he couldn't bear to look at him. "I don't care." Mark moved over so Feraligatr could lay down, but Feraligatr had second thoughts. "You don't mind if you use me as a pillow instead?" Mark was confused, but moved so Feraligatr could lay down first.
