The forty-something lion looked very distinguished, seated on his favorite table at Le Chat and with a glass of red wine resting by his paw. The feline was dressed in a dark suit and tie and appeared quite the epitome of mature masculinity, with his full mane and and the handsome, confident look that remained on his muzzle at all times.
Andrew Pearson was used to appearing confident, a personality trait if there ever was one. Yet tonight the handsome lion was feeling uncharacteristically nervous about, at least to a degree. There was a kind of a gentle flutter in his stomach that even the wine hadn't calmed down completely, at least not by then, but he hoped that it would pass soon. The sensation was almost enjoyable, anyway, signifying to him that he was feeling a lot more excitement than he usually did.
The first glass of wine was almost consumed by the time his awaited guest arrived, on the doorway and looking somewhat lost while he gazed about the room curiously.
He felt another jolt of excitement, and his tail made an almost exuberant swing behind him as the lion got up from his seat to act as a beacon for the newly arriving fur..
The young lion looked about with an amount of confusion that Andrew found to be simply adorable. He was quite tall, with a growing mane and broad shoulders that were hidden under a slightly ill-fitting dark dinner jacket. The young male was relatively muscular, although the look in his eyes was boyish and easy-going, another thing that certainly appealed to his older host for the evening.
Andrew waved his paw, and when their eyes met, he saw a nervous smile spread to the lion's muzzle. The elder feline's own smile was tinged with a deep purr that rumbled pleasurably in his throat.
The young man approached, and then they were already shaking hands, one big paw taking the slightly smaller one into its warm embrace, as warm as the smile upon Andrew's lips.
"Hello, Logan," he murmured, "I am so very glad that you could make it."
The way how the boy avoided his eyes was simply adorable, Andrew thought, while they shook paws and the younger lion mumbled a "Hi...", very shyly, before their paws finally parted.
"I hope you had no trouble finding your way here, Logan," Andrew stated.
"Uh...no, not at all..." Logan replied. "Got my phone and all..."
Another broad smile.
"Splendid!" the big lion said. "Shall we sit down? I've ordered myself some wine, but I am sure you can find something for yourself from the list to enjoy before we order some food."
"That's...that'd be good, yeah," Logan said.
"Let's sit down, then!" Andrew waved at the elegantly laid table simply waiting for its occupants.
They settled upon their seats, facing one another. Andrew was all smiles, while his younger companion still appeared nervous. That made the older lion to chuff pleasantly.
"Just imagine we're talking over the phone chat if you feel nervous," he stated.
Logan gave him a shy look, and let out a nervous laugh. Andrew laughed too.
"Maybe not," he said, "I'm good."
"Splendid," Andrew murmured, "I am so very you could make it and that you could come and meet me. I've been looking forward to this for quite some time now."
He could tell that the boy was flushing, if only by how his scent changed. That made the golden-furred male to rumble in agreement.
"Have you had a fine day?" Andrew.
"Yeah, it's been cool enough," Logan said.
The lion wanted to shake his head at the statement, but held himself back. He wasn't expecting a highly philosophical conversation, either way, but a more simple chat about anything that'd come to their mind with the natural flow of things.
"That is good to hear," Andrew said. "I hope it hasn't been too taxing."
"Uh, no, not really, just classes and stuff," the boy said.
Andrew felt almost embarrassed as he thought back to his own high school years, all the way back in the 80's. It was literally as long ago as the boy had been in existence. That thought amused him.
He didn't have the chance to remark on it, since a bow tie-wearing fox waiter appeared by their table, smiling courteously as ever.
"Good evening, sir," the fox addressed the boy politely, "what might I serve to you tonight?"
Andrew smiled to Logan when the young lion gave him a quizzical look.
"Having trouble thinking up what you'd like?" the lion asked.
"Kinda, yeah," the young jock said. "Anything you can...suggest, I guess?"
Andrew flashed his most charming smile to the waiter.
"We'll have two portions of the soup of the day, the bread basket, another glass of wine for me - let's make that the whole bottle, and sparkling water for my young friend here, and then I'll have the steak and...what would you feel like today, Logan?" he asked from the youth. "Anything you like, they make almost anything here."
The lion appeared quizzical for a moment before he made his choice.
"I guess I could have a...a burger?" he said. "Do you make burgers."
"We do make very fine hamburgers," the fox stated.
"Okay, uh...one...double cheeseburger, then, please?" Logan looked at the lion again, as if asking for approval. He got it in the shape of a courteous rumble and a nod.
"Double cheeseburger it is then," Andrew said.
"I will be right away with the drinks and the bread," the fox said. "I hope you will enjoy yourselves."
"i am sure we will," Andrew murmured.
The fox moved on his tail-shuffling way, and that left the lion with a chance to look at his young guest again.
"You are even more handsome in nature, I must say," Andrew said in a low voice, for such things were meant for their ears only.
The youth must've flushed furiously under his furs at that, and he spent a lot of time observing a salt shaker that sat on the tabletop. Andrew found that to be incredibly amusing to look at.
"I hope I am not a...a negative surprise, in that regard, either," Andrew stated mildly.
"Uh, no, no!" the boy almost yelped. "Uh...definitely not...uh...sir..."
Although hearing himself called 'sir' stirred something within the older lion, he was not really expecting to be referred to with such terms. At least at this moment, he thought, with another smile.
"Please, call me Andy," he said. "All my friends do."
"Oh...okay...Andy," the jock boy said. "Are you sure that's okay?"
He was all purrs now, giving his answer.
"Of course it is," Andy tapped the tabletop cheerfully with his manicured clawtips, "you are my friend, after all, Logan."
"That's...that's cool," the boy said. "Really cool..."
"Isn't it nice to finally sit down like this and get to know one another even better?" Andy beamed.
"Yeah, it is," Logan said. "I wasn't sure I would have the guts to come but...but yeah, when you suggested..."
"I know it can feel like a challenge...taking that first step," Andy stated, "but I am so very glad that you decided to take a chance with me!"
The youth nodded again.
"Well, I thought...it'd be about time, right?" he said. "We've been talking for a bit and stuff..."
"For six weeks now, I think!" Andy mused. "Feels like time has flown right past..."
"I guess it has, yeah," the boy said, "Been really busy with school and all, but yeah, glad I could make it."
"As am I!" the lion grinned. "I hope you didn't have to put off any homework because of our little meeting."
"Hmmmnah," the youth replied "Not really."
"That is fine to hear," Andy said. "And your parents? How did you explain you going out, if I may ask?"
This question amused him even before he made it. The idea of the youth making up white lies so that he could meet a much older lion he met on an online dating site made him giggle internally. They'd probably been remarkably angry if they'd known the true destination of their son's evening out.
"Uh, well, I said I was going to hang out with friends..." Logan said," from school, and all that."
"That's not even a lie," Andy nodded, "simply a small omission of the true nature of your visit."
"I guess..." the youth mumbled, "I don't think they'd understand."
The lion's great head nodded once more, his well-groomed, luxurious mane ruffling as he did so.
"Indeed," he said, "as unfortunate as that is. But I am glad you still decided to come."
"Well they're not gonna stop me," the youth sounded more confident when he said so, "don't need to know about it, it's none of their business, huh?"
"No, not really," Andy chuckled, "this is a private matter of yours, after all."
"Damn right it is!" Logan hissed. "I think they're a bunch of old lameasses...uh...yeah..."
His ears drooped.
"What's wrong?" Andy asked.
The boy looked quite embarrassed once again.
"Oh, huh, I mean...I didn't mean..."
"What is it?" Andy asked patiently.
"I just mean..." the boy fidgeted, "I didn't mean like that...that...that...I mean..."
Andy chuckled.
"You think I might have taken offense at you calling your parents 'old', don't you?" he postulated.
Logan didn't reply with words, instead he simply nodded, his ears droopy and all.
"Oh, dear boy," Andy smiled, "I wouldn't take offense at such. I know how parents are...I feel the same way about my own, believe me or not."
Logan dared a look at the older male, and seeing his smile, he appeared relieved.
"Okay," he said.
"And let me get you in on a secret..." Andy leaned forward over the table, closer to the youth.
"What is it?" Logan sounded curious.
"It'll only get worse," the lion chuckled.
Logan made a face. Andy found that not so secretly adorable, but didn't comment on it further. The arrival of the waiter with their drinks and the soup brought a little break into the conversation as well, and it was time for Andy to show the younger lion how to sip his soup from his spoon without making too many slurping noises.
"I hope you find it to your taste," he said.
"My parents try to drag me out to nice places like this often enough," Logan said, "It's cool."
"I'm glad you like," Andy mused. "I'm always happy to show new experiences to those who can appreciate them."
"You're...uh...really friendly, like that," Logan said.
"I try to be, certainly," Andy said. "And I definitely would like to show you many things, if we have some time together."
"I...I'd like that," the young man said quietly.
"Wonderful," Andy grinned, almost as eagerly as the boy had before.
*
The dinner seemed to be proceeding well. Both the steak and the cheeseburger went down well, as did the chatter that accompanied their meal. They could talk about the many things they knew about each other, such as Andy's job at the bank and the young lion's school curriculum on his last year of high school, not to mention his football practice. Logan sounded eager, talking about it, especially since Andy appeared genuinely curious to hear about all of his daily activities. It was something he wasn't that much used to, the older lion knew as much, since they had often talked about Logan felt like his own parents ignored him often enough. Andy knew the kind of a situation, having experienced it with his own father during his youth, and had told him as much. Logan sounded happy about being understood in such a way - it was a topic they had returned to often enough during their online chats, and it was no surprise that it even came up during their face to face talk as well.
The older lion was happy to note that their initial awkwardness was nowhere to be seen by the time the dessert was served. It consisted of delicious ice cream with copious chocolate sauce drizzled over them, and with a pleasantly hot cup of coffee to go with it. Logan was a talkative young man, with a shy streak the lion was well aware of.. At least it hadn't gotten the best of him, Andy was glad to note, and even said as much aloud.
"I must admit, I was expecting this to be much more...consisting of silent staring and awkward remarks," he mused aloud.
Logan was busy with his ice cream portion for the moment, and looked up to the older lion with his lips stained which chocolate. Andy found that to be a particularly delightful sight.
"Heheh," he chuckled.
He was quite sure that the boy was blushing again, but did not comment on it further.
"I've had a really nice time, yeah," Logan said, "You're a...a cool guy."
Andy snickered.
"I don't think I've been called that in a long time, if ever," he mused lightly, with a cup of coffee in his paw.
"Hahah," the youth laughed.
Andy glanced at the wall clock nearby. It indicated that it was already almost nine pm. Time had truly flown.
"Are you expected at home any time soon?" he asked.
Logan had noticed the looking action and made his own check of the time from the wall, besides glancing at his phone.
"I'm not really expected any time before midnight, really, " he said, "uh, I told my parents I might be crashing over at a friend's place tonight, but I really...uh...they need the car so I'd have to be back there around ten or eleven at latest...I mean..."
"Sharing a car with your parents, eh?" the older lion stated.
"Yeah," Logan made a face. "It sucks, they almost never give it to me..."
Andy sipped his coffee.
"Well, at least you got it tonight..." he said.
"Yeah, I guess so," Logan nodded.
"So..." Andy said, "since I took a cab here...could you perhaps drive me home? It's not very far away, so it won't take very long."
He looked at the young lion meaningfully...their eyes meeting for quite some time, until Logan simply didn't dare to keep the eye contact up any further. Andy's smile remained mild and encouraging, yet he didn't want to push the youth too much. He'd have to make the decision in his own right, after all, in the end.
"Well..." Logan said, "I mean, I'm not expected or anything..."
"Neither am I," Andy hurried to say, "I would be delighted, however, if I could spend a few more moments with you. It has been a most enjoyable evening."
"Yeah..." the young lion said.
"Perhaps you can consider it over the coffee and then give me your thoughts on it," Andy proposed, "there is still time."
"Uh...okay," Logan said.
"Great!" Andy rumbled. "How about you tell me more about your football practice, then?"
"Sure," Logan replied.
"I'm all ears," Andy smiled.

It was half an hour later that Andy found himself on the passenger seat of a smart family car, heading into directions yet unknown for the young man driving.
"This feels...interesting," Andy mused.
"Hmmm?" Logan spared only a quick glance to the larger, older male seated by him. "Don't trust my driving?"
Andy laughed with the ring of wine in his voice as well as his other merriment.
"Oh, no, no!" he yelped. "No, nothing like that, my dear friend! I'm just so used to driving my own car that it is very rarely that I am actually a passenger in one."
"Uh...okay," Logan said. "Should I have let you drive then?"
"Oh, no, no, remember, I've been drinking," Andy said, "It would not be responsible for me to be driving now, even if I wasn't over the limit. I very well might be."
"Sure," Logan replied.
"I trust you completely in this matter," Andy smiled, "and you should take a right turn here."
Logan signaled with practiced ease, and swung the wheel to take them to the indicated direction.
"Is it a long way still?" he asked.
"No, only a couple more minutes," Andy smiled, "are you eager to see where I live? Or how I live, for that matter, hahah. You've only seen what little you've seen on the background of my photos."
"Yeah, sure," Logan said, "It sounds like you've got a pretty sweet place going on."
"Just wait till you see it," Andy winked.
"Sweet."
A couple more instructions later the Ford pulled up onto the driveway of a two-storied house with a nice Lexus parked in front of the garage doors.
"Wow!" yelped Logan as he peered through the windshield. "And you really live here all by yourself?"
Andy chuckled.
"I like my privacy, when it's due," he said, "but don't worry, I'm a social creature. I'm not a funny loner tiger, or anything like that."
"Yeah...those tigers..." the younger male mused.
Andy opened his seat belt and put his paw onto the door handle.
"So...fancy a look around?" he suggested gently.
He could see the boy's thoughtfulness, for the moment, staring at the wheel, and the seconds ticked by until Logan turned off the ignition.
"I've gotten this far, haven't I?" his voice wavered a little upon the statement.
Andy couldn't resist the temptation any further. He reached over and put his paw onto the younger male's arm, and gave it a soft squeeze. It felt quite wonderful to him, the firm muscle and the clear responsiveness he felt under his pads.
It felt electric.
He found Logan staring at the paw there, and their eyes met once again. Andy was still smiling.
"Want to come in then?" Andy whispered, in the almost dark car.
"Okay..."
They crossed the yard, through the cool evening air. The lights he turned on in the hall made both of them squint briefly, after the darkness they had experienced before.
"Wow...this place looks huge!" Logan looked around curiously in the hall, and its many doors.
"It's not that big," said Andy, while he unbuttoned his suit jacket. "Living room, den, garage, utilities room, kitchen and dining room downstairs, upstairs there are four bedrooms with two en suite bathrooms and one shared bathroom, and a dressing room and..."
Logan raised his brow.
"You got a dressing room?" he stated.
Andy almost blushed at that remark. He realized how it might sound like a particular exuberance.
"Well, I like nice clothes, and it's convenient to have all of them in one room," he replied, "it eliminates clothes cupboards from the master bedroom, so it gives it a nice, airy quality."
"I believe ya," the young lion noted.
"Do look around anywhere you like," Andy said, "I trust you not to break anything, and I don't have any secret rooms."
"Not even the kind hidden behind a secret bookcase door?"
Andy couldn't tell whether the boy was serious or not. He did smile and rumble, his purr accompanying him to the coat rack on the wall where he hung his jacket temporarily.
"Sorry, it's not that big of a house," he said.
"Hah, I think it's bigger than my home is!" Logan swung about and so did his tail, flying through the air.
"Oh I don't know..." Andy rumbled away, "I know it's big for one man, but I do get the occasional houseguest, so it's nice to have a lot of room."
"Must've cost a fortune..." Logan wandered towards a pair of doors that led into a living room, decorated with leather furniture and a large television. "Sweet!"
Andy followed the youth along, and turned on the lights so that they could both get a proper look at the fittings.
"Well, that's what a fortune is for," he said, "for buying nice things that make your life safe and comfortable. It's really what I have in mind."
Logan's eyes roamed in the furniture, the DVD library, and the very full bookshelves.
"You read a lot..." he said, "and you've got a lot of movies."
"I haven't watched that many of those lately," Andy mused, "not since I got that nifty stick so that I can watch Netflix and Amazon Prime on my television here."
"Cool!"
"Sometimes I wonder if it's too big for this room..." Andy scratched his fingers through his mane pleasurably, "I'm not sure..."
"I think it's perfect," Logan chuckled. "Only missing a PlayStation or an X-Box and you're all set."
"Is that one of those...game console things?" Andy asked.
The young lion gave him a 'whut' look that Andy soon retorted with a toothy grin.
"Hey, I used to have a Nintendo!" he chuckled. "I was always playing Duck Hunt and Mario on that thing."
"Duck Hunt?" Logan asked.
"I'll show you one day, if I ever manage to learn how to work this thing called...YouTube," Andy snickered.
They both laughed, and Andy found it to be a refreshing, clean noise, ringing through his often quiet house. Their mutual amusement made it easy for him to step closer to Logan as well, practically into his private space. His approach didn't go unnoticed, either, for Logan was watching him clearly now.
"I'm really glad that you've had a great evening," Andy said, "I certainly have enjoyed myself."
"Yeah, it's been really...different," Logan stated, "I mean...you know..."
"I'm not sure," Andy smiled softly, "but you could tell me, if you like. Explain it to me."
The boy looked adorably shy again, much to Andy's amusement.
"I mean, you're so...you really listen to me, and stuff, it's really cool."
"I like listening to you," Andy said, "of course I do, I like you. You're very interesting."
"I dunno about that," the young lion shrugged. "It's just hard to...you know...find someone to talk to, sometimes."
"I know how that feels," Andy said. "I really do. It wasn't easy growing up...especially on that time, of course, but with all the...weight that comes with being different."
Logan nodded, slowly.
"Yeah, I guess it's never been easy, huh?"
"I suppose not," Andy said, "but hopefully it'll slowly become easier, with time, at least."
"Yeah, I guess..."
Andy stepped ever more closer, and extended his paws.
"There's something I've wanted to do ever since you stepped into the restaurant, Logan," the older lion said, "would you care for a hug?"
The young lion looked at him for a while, but then moved ahead, an inch at a time, until they were standing almost nose to nose. Andy gave the young man his most brilliant smile, put his arms gently around him, and gave him a squeeze.
"Hmmmm..." Andy purred openly, his eyes half-lidded by now, and his head tilting a little when he leaned forward to sample the young man's scent.
He could feel Logan tense at first, but slowly he became more relaxed, and accepted the intimacy that had developed between them. He even put one of his own paws to Andy's side, and tested how that felt like.
Judging by the purr, it was alright.
"Oh how nice you feel..." Andy murmured, coming closer up to Logan's ear, "I knew you would...oh how I knew you would..."
"Wow..." Logan breathed out. "You...you smell really good..."
The big lion chuckled, and squeezed the youth closer to his chest. Now they could truly share their purrs, together.
"I've been looking forward to this..." Andy continued his crooning words, "feel you, smell you, touch you..."
"Hmmmmmrrrr..." Logan murred. He was getting very comfortable in the hug that had grown more intimate, too, with the younger lion's muzzle close to the thick mane that beckoned for him with its deep, masculine scent. Andy noticed his approach, and gave him an encouraging smile once their eyes met once more.
"You can, if you like," he said.
The last inches were gone, and Logan pressed his nose against the thick hair, to inhale properly in the male musk. Andy let out a pleased rumble, and massaged his paws over the youth's broad back, to give him at least something equally nice in return.
"Ohhhh..." Andy purred in his own right.
The relatively friendly hug quickly turned into something more of a proper embrace, with their paws moving slowly to feel up each other's bodies, and with Logan still planted close to Andy's neck. The older lion rumbled soothingly, and rubbed his paw over the footballer's back. He loved the feel of strong muscle there, still growing to its strength, he thought. Andy found it a thrill, one he sometimes found illicit and forbidden, but now he could express it fully.
"Hmmm...you feel good..." Logan murmured.
"So you do..." whispered the older lion in return.
The next move was quite natural by now, indeed, and involved Andy cupping Logan's muzzle gently before pressing his lips against those of the youth. He gasped and shivered in surprise, but did not flee, nor complain, and even tried returning it before their lips popped apart.
"Wow..."
Andy swallowed.
"How was that like?" he ruffled the boy's mane while he made the question.
"That...eh...that was my first kiss with a guy..." Logan blushed furiously at his confission.
"Oh, sweet you..." Andy gathered the youth into his arms and squeezed him very close to his chest.
More kisses followed, and even bolder touches, too, going further down. Andy cupped the young footballer's butt cheeks into his paws and squeezed on them with just a measured amount of roughness, to make the boy gaps, and to press his hips closer to the big lion's own, to experience an even further a pleasurable sensation when the contact became more firm and it was obvious to both of them that their blood was running hot for the other.
"Ohhh..." moaned Logan, when Andy dove for his neck and peppered it with kisses and the slightest scrape of teeth, how own paws clutching onto the lion's back.
"Hmmmhhphrr..."
The older lion's paws were almost possessive now, as he held onto the younger one purring in his arm. His arousal was strong, and the wish to claim this body was strong. Yet Andy reminded himself that he needed patience...this was a much younger man, only a few months past his 18th birthday, and one whom was still a virgin in many senses of the word.
"I...don't want to think that I'm pushing you into things..." Andy whispered.
"You're not..." Logan said, "fuck, all the things we've talked about..."
Andy's cock throbbed hard as he recalled just a few of the outright filthy things they had talked about during the long nighttime chats when they'd gotten to know each other, in the acquaintance that had finally taken them to this very moment, on each other's arms in the older lion's living room, with erections pressing together as much as their bodies in general were.
"Hahah," Andy rumbled in an amused manner.
"What...what are you thinking?" Logan asked his host.
Andy smiled while he once again tousled his paw through the youth's mane.
"Like you said...all the things we talked about," he stated.
"Heheh," Logan laughed nervously.
"We don't have to do anything..." Andy hurried to say, "but...you don't have to go home yet..."
"You don't want me to stay?" Logan's ears dropped a little.
"I think it's for the best you go home, so that your parents won't get worried," Andy said.
The lion pouted a little. Andy found it so adorable that he had to give them a nice, wet, tongue-involved kiss that made both of them purr anew.
"There'll be other times," Andy assured the youth, "my door will be open for you whenever you want to visit. Besides...I didn't tell you to go...yet."
"Oh..."
Andy gave the lion's butt a quick pat. That made Logan's tail swing about
"And I didn't even see this yet...or this..." his paw slipped between their bodies and grabbed onto the bulge in the youth's pants.
"Ohh...damn...wow..." Logan mumbled.
"In nature, of course," Andy winked, outright so, "I've enjoyed those photos you sent many times...as you can imagine..."
"Oh I can!" Logan chuckled breathily, "believe me, I've looked at yours a lot too...eh...well...you know..."
"I think I do," Andy smiled. "But there's only so much a photo can do...and now we don't have to look at photos and imagine."
"Uh...no..." Logan said.
"What would you like to see?" Andy questioned.
"Everything!" Logan grinned.
"Hmmmrrr..." rumbled the older lion, "I think I can help with that."
