#2 of Finding the Alpha Wolf

In this chapter our unfortunate rabbit finally confronts the giant wolfess. How will she react to the unusually tiny creature in her room? Will he survive the hardships of such a giant world? Can he ever get her scent out of his fur? Well at least one of these questions will be answered here.

This chapter contains further character and story development, focusing upon the two first meeting.

Chapter Two:

The rabbit sat himself upon the Wolf's giant bed, left to toy with his thoughts while the unexpected lupine was tending to her hygiene. With anxiety freely tugging at every nerve in his small form, reacting to any little sound, he couldn't come to any clear conclusions about his unique situation. Yielding a defeated sigh, the rabbit looked around the room in his wait. Clue's began standing out to him that he couldn't perceive in his original, frantic encounter.

A nightstand sat next to the bed offering a digital clock with a silver embroidered lamp resting next to it. The table also provided a few orange tinted plastic bottles with white labels wrapped around them. Medicine of this nature was something foreign to the rabbit's origins but he knew the general idea behind them. The wolf seemed healthy from their brief encounter, leaving him questioning what they could be for. Squinting at the label he couldn't manage to understand any of the wording printed upon it.

Unfamiliar with such gibberish he moved his sights over towards the head of the bed. The rolling field of hill covered blankets lead to a number of stacked pillows. Nearby the mound of sacked feathers sat a fuzzy, stiff plushie of an anthro rabbit. The stuffed animal sat just slightly larger than himself, an interesting coincidence he thought to himself.

Shifting his gaze to the dresser, he was better able to see a statue set upon it from this height. A painted figurine planted on a stand, holding a white phoenix calling out to the sky. He wondered if such a creature actually existed in this world or was simply a work of fiction. He also managed to sight a number of posters upon the white walls, they appeared hand drawn with a common theme of depicting a moon above with various figures in poses below.

His observations were cut short when he heard the shower fall to silence. The signal alone sunk in his stomach. Taking a deep breath, the rabbit stood upon the bed, preparing himself. His wait would soon come to an end as the knob on the door began to turn. A surge of adrenaline pierced through him with each click of the latch in motion.

The massive door pushed into the room and following through, the black and white wolfess came. Wrapped in a white towel around her sleek form, she moved into the room oblivious for a moment. With the bed directly in her line of sight it only took a passing glance for her blue hues to catch the oddity upon the foot of her bed.

The rabbit locked up, all foresight of his plan had ended here. With a curious glare from afar, the wolfess took a step closer to her bed to investigate the anomaly. It only took her two massive steps for the rabbit to fully realize his situation with the colossal figure approaching him. Against his will his knees buckled, causing him to fall back on his fuzzy rump. His hues held wide, locked upon that towering form.

The movement was clear to the wolfess as she stopped in her tracks. The odd object had moved. Furthermore it resembled a rabbit, yet not a feral one. A wave of confusion clear on her face before fading out to determination for further inspection.

"What the hell..." She muttered on her breath as she inched closer.

The voice may have been quiet for her but with ears as long as his, the voice came clear and deep. While he was overloaded with racing thoughts and rushing fears he had not even noticed that they shared a common language. All he could conclude in a frenetic cluster of his thoughts was the need to explain himself to her before she did anything, something quick and short yet informative. Perhaps she could be reasoned with once she understood. Yet no complete statements would fully articulate. In an attempt to force his mind to collaborate, he opened his maw and pushed out the air that was trapped in his lungs. The light frightened squeak that formed carried an unsteady tone.

"Please don't hurt me!" Was all that managed to come out of him.

Tall ears on the wolf perked alert as she heard the plea despite how light it was, there was no mistaking the fear riddled in the words. Her maw hung open as if to formulate thought to speech yet nothing fabricated. She was at a loss, staring at a tiny creature on her bed that she knew couldn't possibly exist. It left the two staring at one another for a prolonged moment.

The silence was finally broken with the sound of fabric against fur. The towel, the wolfess wasn't paying any attention to, had slipped from her paw and slid down her form. The terrified rabbit was met with a voluptuous view of damp fur, tone muscles, well rounded hips and mountainous breasts. Still too paralyzed from his own overwhelming fear, all of the show went unnoticed.

Without a word the now bare wolfess turned, and left out of the room. Her movements snapped the lapin from his fear just enough to see a hypnotic view of bulbous cheeks shifting in rhythm to her waltz. She was trailed by a still drying tail showing hint of some fluff, which would further develop in its dry state. In the haze of the near wordless exchange a hint of something darker festered in the back of his mind. He never expected her to leave after finding him.

The Wolfess, having studied herself in the mirror of her steamy bathroom, had become convinced she was afflicted in her stress to manifest such a hallucination. The swirling questions matched with concerns to devolve into frustration. A huff escaped her, followed by the pounding of her rebellious stride back into the room. Once more spotting the miniature being on her bed, and with teeth bared she swiped a massive paw out to capture the rabbit.

Still stunned, the small hare was incapable of dodging the wall of pads and digits. Her hand quickly consumed his form in a tight grip. Giving an alarmed squeak from his chest compressing, the helpless critter was hosted high into the air by his new prison.

"Out of my sight you cursed illusion!" She barked loud enough for his sensitive ears to ring.

He desperately tried to form any coherent words to contest her accusation, yet before he could the fist lunged forward. Her digits abruptly uncurled, releasing the small rabbit with the momentum of a bullet towards a glass window over her bed. Holding no time to react, his frantic flails fell swiftly to a resounding thunk even the wolfess could hear. The world around him swarmed in consuming black after the solid bash head first.

After some time the world eventually returned to him. At first it was his orientation of gravity, finding himself on his back with rough fabric beneath him. Returning to consciousness, he was greeted with a throbbing headache. The rabbit encouraged his muscles to stir as he curled onto his side with a painful groan. Convinced he was concussed from the familiar and unpleasant sensations.

Sluggishly, he trailed a single paw to lay over his head. Having known a little trick after so many of these situations occurred to him, he focused his short digits inward and soon grasped a glowing red nub that formed in his forehead. Giving a careful pull, he retrieved the glow much like pulling a string wrapped around his mind. The long tendril of energy dangled in his hold, as all his illness seem trapped within it. Feeling a considerable wave of relief after extracting the damaged energy, he finished his spell with a shake of his paw. In doing so, this dispersed the remnants of the glowing strand into the air.

Now being able to think more clearly he tried to piece together what happened while he was out cold, starting with discovering where he even was. Opening his brown hues, he looked around to find himself in a cardboard box. A lamp above was shining on him causing his eyes to squint. Grumbling to himself, the rabbit shifted onto his paws only to fall back on his rear. The white wash cloth, as it appeared, wasn't very even for his balance. Near the corners were two small white dishes. One contained water, the other held some peanuts the size of his paw.

Not sparing any desperate moments he crawled across the fabric and dipped his snout into the water, drinking in a maw full of the cool liquid. Careful not to consume too much, he retreated with a sigh in relief.

"Oh, I needed that." He thankfully commented, but it wasn't on deaf ears.

"You're awake? I thought I might've killed you." The female voice sounded nearby.

The rabbit's hues widen as he slowly looked over the edge of the box. There she certainly was, the black fur of her face in a dim lit room was clear enough to him. He was being studied by a pair of blue hues as the wolfess sat on her bed.

"I thought you would've disappeared after I threw you or exploded into glitter, or something a hallucination would do, but you didn't. Further more, I can see you, I can feel you, I can even smell you. You're real aren't you?" She questioned to the box on her nightstand.

The lapin timidly gave a nod looking much like a deer caught in the headlights. All of his muscles simply locked up in her presence. At the very least he saw she was wearing clothes this time, so he wouldn't contend with those emotions toying with him at the same time. She was dressed in a black t-shirt from what he could see. Her silhouette against the Moon light bleeding in through the window made it slightly harder to tell the colors.

"So what are you? Who are you? How'd you get here?" She began listing off the questions plaguing her for the time the rabbit was knocked out.

"You... You're, not gonna hurt me?" The rabbit skittishly asked back.

"Answer my questions, and I'll consider playing nice." She returned.

A sensible compromise if he ever heard one. He moved back against the wall of the box, sitting down as he tried to calm himself. His thoughts drifted to answers for her questions.

"My name is Snake. I'm a creature from a very different place than this. I describe it as a different realm of existence. I can also travel across realms. It was just by chance I ended up here." He explained in a shaky voice.

"A realm walker? You are a magical little creature who traveled from a different reality." The wolfess summarized in obvious disbelief.

"Wait wait, I can prove it. Here just, let me see your finger." Snake quickly tried to rectify.

The wolfess remained skeptical but the creature hardly proved threatening to her. Getting up from the bed, she moved over towards the box towering over the rabbit. She moved a single paw down, outstretching her pointer finger into the box near it's center.

It was overwhelming to see her looming over him, yet her cooperation gave him hope. Getting up from the wall, Snake moved over to the finger nearly half his height in length. Careful to keep his footing on the unstable cloth. He lifted up his paws and placed them at the base of her finger. Her fur was warm and soft to the touch. A subtle blush began to form beneath his white cheeks as he felt her. Reminding himself in that moment to keep his mind focused at the task before him. He centered his energy into his paws as crimson began to glow beneath his digits. The energy leaked out, wrapping a band around her finger. The band quickly dimmed after it's creation, leaving behind a silver ring complete with a socketed gem glowing crimson.

Panting softly, the rabbit sat back down. The wolfess withdrew her hand to observe the ring now snug on her finger. Those blue hues filling with wonder, reflecting slightly the glow of the gem off her eyes.

"You're not toying with me..." The amazement carried in her voice.

"Ya, the ring will glow when it's near me too. Like it is now. It recognizes my energy. Just, try not to exploit me. I can't do that very often." He explained between his breaths.

"Exploit?" She lifted a brow. "No, I'm not interested in capital gain. I am however, very interested in you."

"Well Ma'am. I hope I don't disappoint you. I'm not as full of surprises as one might think."

"Sam." She filled in, electing a blink from the rabbit. "My name is Sam."

"Oh, nice to finally exchange names Miss Sam."

"Just Sam. I hate it when people call me miss."

"Alright, Sam. Um, mind if I ask what you're planning on doing with me?" A question that had worried him since he woke.

Sam elected a smile that bared to light her white fangs.

"Well, Snake, I'm sure a science division would be very interested to study someone like you."

The suggestion caused Snake to jump to his feet with his paws clasped begging.

"No no please. I've been through that before. Don't do that to me please Sam." He whimpered.

"Hmm, well you could stay here with me, but you have to make it worth my trouble." She elected in feign thought.

"Anything. Just name it, I-I'll do my best."

"I could think of a few things you could do for me, but I'm gonna make you wait on those idea's. It's getting late and I could use some sleep."

Snake sighed in relief, whatever she could ask of him couldn't be any worse then being tortured by researchers. He stood back up carefully, attempting to map out a place to settle down in. Before he could make a move however, a number of black tendrils curled around him. Sam had picked the rabbit up in her hand and, with little hesitation, she tucked his tiny frame away in the confines of her shirt. Warm fur and flesh mold around him, pinning his arms against his sides. He found sizable breasts holding him prisoner underneath her shirt.

"Just to make sure you don't try to sneak off while I'm asleep." She explained.

"Isn't this a little... extreme?" He baffled.

"I don't think anything is too extreme to keep a prize like you safe."

Snake's world shifted as he could feel her laying down in her bed. The soft mounds squeezing around him flattened out slightly to the new position. This left only his head poking out of the white tuft of fur. Her sternum soften by her fur served as his bed, and the warmth of her breasts snug around him was his blanket. Now if his fit of embarrassment would subside he would find himself sleeping here happily. All he could do however was stare blankly at the strap of white that was her bra peeking between the valley above him. It was his last sight for the night as she turned off the lamp nearby, leaving him in darkness.
