There is a world that coincides with our own, one that nobody ever thought existed until it burst through the confines of our own and swarmed our lives, changing everything we thought we knew. That was a long time ago, when the digidestined of old decided to brave the wilderness of the Digital World and combat the dangers that both resided there and wished to claim our world as theirs. Our story begins with a trio of Digimon and their human partners.

"Ugh..." A groan was heard through the loud, shrill screaming of the cicadas. "When did it get so hot around here?" A yellow fox was seen trying to hide in the shade of an oak tree, frantically trying to keep cool, flapping a Japanese fan decorated with deep-blue ocean waves crazily.

The three humans, all modern digidestined, were too young to travel to the Digital World under the new laws enacted by the human government to keep children out of harm's way. However, this didn't mean that Digimon themselves couldn't travel freely between both lands.

"Kugo, thank you very much." Angemon bowed to his young partner and smiled, taking one of the drinks. "Ah, our favorite juices as well! You're so thoughtful." Renamon practically jumped out from under the tree to grab something to cool himself off and let out a huff of irritation. "Oh, please! Stop being so formal for once in your life, man. We've got peace, right? So let's party and get WILD!" Nobody could see the angel's eyes roll from under his visor, but his annoyance with the fox was still quite visible. Renamon's eyes bulged and he let out a gasp, turning to Flamedramon. "DUDE! Best idea ever! We should head to the Digital World for the weekend and party like mad. "O-oh, yeah, definitely! You guys should have some fun!" He blurted out, flashing a big grin. "Digimon need breaks too, right?! Go camping or hang out and watch television or whatever it is you guys do over there. We'll be fine here, right guys?" He turned to his two friends for backup. "Mariko? Ohta?" They both caught on and nodded. They knew that once their digital partners were away, they could play as many video games as they wanted instead of having to hang around outside in the heat, since Angemon was always such a stickler for "proper health."

"I...suppose we could, but only if you three behave yourselves while we're gone." Angemon rubbed his chin in thought, while Flamedramon and Renamon eagerly rushed to the television to open a gateway. Travel has never been easier between worlds, nowadays! "Now, make sure to listen to your parents, do your homework, and clean up after yourse-!"
