Chapter 11
By Roofles
When Charles got home, dropped off by his dear friend Togo, the man slipped inside the house without even a hello to his soon to be wife, Marcy, in the other room. He had other things on his mind as he shut and locked the bathroom door. Let alone wanting to hide the teeth marks still embedded into his shoulder. Togo could be a bit too physical at times.
The idea of it though was arousing in and of itself. Some secret love bite from his husky friend that he had to keep hidden away, secret. The fact it was such a taboo, so forbidden only made it more erotic for the normally vanilla man.
Something so simple as a locked door wasn’t overlooked however. Marcy had been busy these past few weeks with the up and coming wedding. The two had rarely talked this whole month, yet there were still some things that hadn’t changed. Things she thought never would and as such took it for granted until it was right there in her face.
Such as sleeping in the same bed, changing in front of one another or even something so seemingly small as locking the bathroom door. All these things had never been a problem before in their Seven years together. The sound of the bathroom locking might as well have been a gun shot in the otherwise mute home. Marcy disliked having the radio on or noise in general, which drove Charles nuts. Such a simple thing stood out like a sore thumb in the cold silence of their home.
There had been a distance between them in the last year. A crack that was quickly becoming a chasm. Still it was a slow process, like an infection left untreated that continued to fester between them. Going unnoticed, out of sight out of mind as it were. They never talked about it or brought it up even if they both knew something was wrong. Both just made excuses to avoid the issue all together and it only made things worse.
The problem wasn’t just that but the fact neither of the two could figure out what the real problem was. It was too complicated to say that it was just this. Or just that. If it were possible to fall out of love, the two feared it might’ve happened.
There was a part of Marcy who thought, figured, Charles would just be waiting for her at home as he always had been this evening. Even after everything that was going on. Agreeing with whatever she wanted to do as usual. Getting up to meet her at the door even. Being needy and clinging to her for some sort of social life, vicariously living through her. Something she always told herself she hated. And now that it was gone? She was at a loss for words.
Marcy knocked on the door a good minute after standing there in front of it, unsure if she should or not. “Everything ok?” She asked, stopping herself from biting her own nails as she asked. The wedding was right around the corner! Was he getting cold feet or just…?
“Just fine.” Charles said, nearly humming to himself in the shower rinsing the musky smell of his lover off. Even knowing Marcy couldn’t smell it, the feel of it clinging to him made him feel as if he truly were cheating on her.
He was in such good spirits these days that it made her feel left out from it all. It bothered her. The fact that it bugged her, bugged her. That he could have a life without her, not even asking half the time for her permission to do things anymore.
“Oh, hey.” Charles said unlocking and opening the door just enough to look out. “I’m going over again to Togo’s place tonight. Prob won’t be back ‘til tomorrow.” And he was smiling. Something she hadn’t seen him do in some time.
“Oh.” Marcy just said with a frown. She undid her hair and took her glasses off, biting the end of the black plastic. “Well, if you got time before then; before you go back over… How about we just…” She offered, trying to open the door the rest of the way for her to slip in.
“All yours.” Charles said not even really listening as he wrapped a towel around his waist. “Just cleaning up a bit, getting some stuff before Togo picks me up.” He opened the door and walked right by without a kiss on the cheek, a hug, anything. Just giving her the cold shoulder without even meaning too. Charles was lost in thought as there was a skip to his step, thinking of what he and Togo were going to do this night.
She was flabbergasted at this sudden independent display. Then she took a moment on that. It wasn’t like Charles to be like this, no. She had been his rock in life and now she had been replaced it seems by this dog of all people. Not even a person. Charles always brought him up these days. Talking about him as if he were an actual person worth wasting his time on. A husky…
Then there was that little voice in the back of her mind asking about that. What if Togo really was Charles best man? What if the husky showed up at their rehearsal dinner? At the wedding? In front of all her family! Walking and talking and just being, himself. The very thought was too much to bear.
“So, tell me about this dog.” Marcy said smoothly, buttoning up the front of her gown and putting her hair back up. Charles had gone into his little man cave off to the side, she had followed behind him before asking the question.
“He’s a husky?” Charles replied, confused about what she was actually asking.
“Yes, well I mean who is he?” Marcy just went on, trying to come off as if she were truly interested in about his new friend. Her teeth were clenched though, arms folded over her chest and her recently manicured nails were digging into her palms.
“He’s our gardener. Uh, was.” Charles pointed out after Marcy had finished using the husky for all the hard manual labor, she let him go. Hiring someone else to do the more intricate care on the hedges and yard as if thinking just because Togo was a husky he couldn’t manage such a difficult, complicated thing as trimming hedges. “Still is I guess?” Charles laughed, giving a shrug on the matter. There was that smile again, it brightened his face.
That only annoyed her more though.
“What does he do besides that? Is he going to school maybe?” She asked, putting the words in his mouth for him. “Maybe trying to get a college degree? You know, a real job. I’m sure he has a license at least,” Marcy just insinuated as if he wasn’t even some sort of citizen. “Even someone like him can do better that gardening.” Marcy didn’t even try to hide her disdain at this point, based on petty jealousy that quickly turned into a bile hatred for the canine.
“Well…” Charles frowned a bit at that. He was holding his towel around his waist still as he thought about that. He fumbled with that, not really sure. “We don’t really talk about that stuff.” He finally offered.
“The future?” Marcy rolled her eyes though as she went over to inspect something on the wall and look away from his naked body. The action wasn’t lost on the man though.
Togo thought he looked good. The husky loved just staring at him when he was naked like this, watching his movements as if it was some kind of form of art. Let alone when they were cuddling. The husky had a habit of stroking and petting over his naked form, loving every inch of him as those strong padded fingers roamed over his naked form, exploring every inch of him with hesitation.
Marcy looked away in disgust. She didn’t even touch him when they DID sleep in the same bed. Making sure to scoot over just enough for some invisible wall to be between them. And it didn’t get easier to deal with night after night.
“Well sure. Sometimes. We just, you know, talk about guy stuff usually.” Charles went over to his side dresser and began to pull out cloths. Feeling guilty now for being naked in his own home. Ashamed of the way he looked.
“Was this before or after he attacked you?” Marcy address the rather large bite mark on Charles shoulder. Something Togo had given him during their last mating.
Charles clapped a hand over it, unable to hide it. Parts of his body were bruised or sore from Togo’s fervor love making. There were bite marks here and there, bruised hickies elsewhere. Marcy had noticed before. Some part of her mind even thought that he could possibly be seeing someone else but that thought was quickly dismissed.
After all, the only person Charles knew besides her was a male dog.
“Wrestling got out of hand.” Charles gave a half ass lie. His thoughts were on other things though. Like the fact even now, as she was interrogating him for questions about his friend; she still wouldn’t look at him unclothed.
When was the last time they had fucked? When was the last time they had done it without the lights off? Charles couldn’t ever recall they had. And it made him feel ugly.
Where Togo built him up, praising and loving on him. Cherishing every moment, they were together; Marcy was the other side of the coin. Slowly witling him down with insults or cold remarks on what he was doing. Just enough to keep chipping away at his self-esteem to the point he knew he couldn’t possibly get anyone else as good looking or successful as her. Just another thing she not so subtly brought up, just as how she had done with Togo seconds before. Talking about and mocking their own friends and family for their life choices, careers and just who they were in general to raise herself up above them.
“I think you look good.” Such a simple sentence, from a friendly husky was enough to banish such thoughts. It had been when they were out shoe shopping that very day. “I mean sure, you got a few extra pounds!” Togo had laughed over brunch. “But which one of us doesn’t?” He only teased playfully, as he always was. “I think you look great.” Togo had finished with, those far too honest eyes looking at him with that sweet, caring smile on his face.
Charles could feel his confidence coming back and with it a swell of anger on the subject. Charles was used to being picked on, insulted even by his own family and loved ones. Marcy going after Togo though was uncalled for.
“I mean what does he really think he’s doing with his life?” Marcy just went on though, not noticing Charles anger. “Is he just trying to vicariously live his life through you?” And Charles wasn’t sure if she was talking about Togo anymore or him. “A free bachelor of a man, able to go out on the town whenever he wanted. Without a wife worrying about him at home? You know, once we’re married, you won’t have time for such childish people in your life.” And Marcy just waved the subject off.
“Are you telling me I can’t hang out with my best friend?” Charles asked, tensing a bit to hold back.
And he was insulted that she laughed at that. A loud sound that seemed to echo in their quiet home.
“Best friend? Charles, sweetie.” She said with a shake of her head. “You’ve known him for how long? You don’t even know what he wants to do with himself. If he even wants to do anything!” She smiled in victory as she finally looked at his face. “But I was just curious about it, is all. Have fun with your friend.” She waved him off with a small shrug of her shoulder as if all of this was just out of idle curiosity than anything more. “Don’t forget we have an appointment early in the morning.” She actually lied, knowing Charles would buy it.
Charles let her go without a word. Oh, there was plenty he wanted to say on the matter. But that would only end up with them having a fight. Somehow, not talking things out just seemed for the best at this point as he slumped down in the corner of the dark room without the lights on, crying quietly to himself as he covered his eyes.
You only talk after all if you wanted the relationship too last.
On the other side of town Togo was pulling into the dubbed “Dog House,” parking behind one of the cars Reese was working on. He wondered if the wolf was around, going to ask him if he and his new sheep friend wanted to go out with him and Charles this evening.
Togo liked planning things out for the two. Thinking of what they should do, where they should go, what position they’d take this night. And though Togo was leading, Charles was happy to follow. That what made things all the better for the black and white Siberian husky. Just how happy his human was to be with him, to trust his life in his ample paws.
That thought made Togo’s tail wag for a second. It’d be like a double date. That’s something real grownups do, real people when they were in relationships. Finding other couples to hang out with and just talk relationship crap with. And like… sex positons, yeah! Togo was sure that was what normal people did. Or something along those lines. Togo had never done anything of this sort before and wasn’t sure where he’d start but was sure with Charles there by his side, things would come to him naturally. Everything was just natural with his human. Be it some sort of dormant instincts on the matter or if that was just how well the two got along.
“I’m back.” Togo said loudly as he shut the door and hung up his coat behind it.
“Where’s your boy toy Togo?” Muff, the blue heeler, asked from the couch. The dog was the only one to actually look over at him as he came in. It was such a natural occurrence for dogs to be coming in and out that most just ignored it.
This caught Clem, the boxer, attention from the kitchen at hearing who it was. The large dog bowed his head down under the counter to get a good look at the husky. The two were close friends and out of everyone in the home, Togo would consider him and the Alpha, Reese, on the top of those who he cared for most and trusted.
“Oh, sweetie did he dump you?” Brigsby, the golden retriever, asked from the couch. He was on the floor between Dodge, the Dalmatians, legs. The sight of the white fur black spotted canine was peculiar to Togo; Reese normally didn’t allow Dodge and Brigsby hang out together here. Ever.
The drama that would insue from this was almost worth sticking around to see. Togo just shook his head on the matter, focusing on the fact he needed to clean up his room. Fast. Before his human friend could come over. Togo’s room was always a mess.
“Har, har. Funny.” Togo just growled back, waving them off as they teased him about him and Charles.
“It wasn’t going too last.” Muff shrugged, just ignoring what the husky said. “After all, how long could it possibly really go?” Togo’s ears splayed out as he bared his teeth at the vehemence on the blue heeler’s voice. The blue heeler continued to ignore him, talking with the others in the room now, clearly loud enough though for the husky to hear. “Not like he’d leave his wife for you or anything.” And he barked a loud laugh at that.
Togo glared at the other dog, about to get on him when dodge jumped in.
“Interspecies relationships never work.” The Dalmatian shrugged, messing up Brigsby hair with a hand. The two nodded in agreement at that.
“Sorry to hear, dude.” Clem said reassuringly as he came around the corner. He was going to give the other dog a bro hug but Togo shrugged him off.
“Charles is coming over later, morons.” Togo just snapped back.
Muff rolled his eyes. “How long are you going to string the poor guy along, dude?” The blue heeler seemed to forget he had been making fun of Togo a second ago about them breaking up. “It’s only a matter of time before you get bored with him. Toss him aside too. Cause fuck if you care for someone else’s feelings.”
Togo’s ears fell back and he looked away. Muff was in a mood tonight he could tell, his smell alone said that much. He wasn’t sure what was up with him but whenever he got like this he always knew where to push the husky’s buttons. That’s what happens when you used to date someone. You know where all the bodies are hidden and what all their insecurities were.
Muff, or Muffin as his adopted human parents had named him, had only joined the house through Togo. The two had been sort of an item at one point. Muff thought they were more than what they were. Togo knew they were just fuck buddies. Yet, the two were in two very different places and things eventually came too light that there was no “we.” Togo’s own words that he had spat in the blue heelers face after Muff had gotten on him about being so distant.
Togo had a horrible record of relationships and unfortunately by then Muff had already moved in, having left his adopted parents due to them treating him like some sort of glorified pet rather than his own dog. Rather than their own son... Another sore issue Muff would only bring up when he got like this.
“Look, dude.” Clem said in all seriousness. “Come on. How long did you think this was going to go on for?” The boxer tried to be the voice of reason for his friend.
“Charles is coming over tonight.” Togo only replied defensively.
“Yeah and what? Another night or two? Five?” Clem shook his head though. “And then he’ll be married. It’s been weeks now and he’s shown no sign of breaking it off with her.”
Brigsby gagged at that, spitting his cola out. “He’s getting married to a woman?” He said in a shrill voice, feigning to faint between the Dalmatians legs.
“It’s just complicated.” Togo looked away. He hated this. While with humans these things were usually one on one. Or just not talked about apparently, according to Charles. With canines? Everyone had to throw their two cents into the matter. Blowing up mole hills into mountains. There was nothing you could hide from each other. From Brigsby drug problem, to Muff getting fired from his job; to Togo being a loose lover. Everyone had their demons but with canines, one couldn’t keep them hidden, buried away from the world. Sooner or later someone was going to sniff them out.
“Complicated?” Clem looked at him, placing a strong hand on his friend shoulder. “Dude, wake up. He’s not the one.”
“No one guy is enough for him.” Muff just laughed and turned back towards the tv sucking on the bile in his own mouth. Togo just had to put up with that. He was the one who had strung the blue heeler along even convincing him to move into the house just so his fuck buddy would be closer and easier to get at.
“Where the fuck is all this coming from?” Togo finally just barked at Clem.
Clem looked at him for a second, not even flinching at the snap of his teeth in front of him. The boxer just shook his head, taking a drink from the bottle he was going to offer to the heartbroken husky. “Reese broke it off with the sheep.”
Togo’s ears fell back at that.
“What? Why? They seemed so…” Togo trailed off though.
“Happy? New relationships always burn the brightest.” Clem just shrugged a shoulder though. “Interspecies relationships don’t work.” He quoted and he clapped a hand on Togo’s shoulder and left it at that.
It explained more than one would understand. Canines evolved, raised to be in a pack setting. When something hit the one, it hit the group. It explained why Muff was acting up. Why Clem was drinking more than he probably should be. Why Dodge was here and that the very feel of the room was stuffy, uncomfortable to be in.
The Alpha of all people seemed to have a chain reaction that vibrated and went through the rest of the pack. If Reese was upset about this, everyone else would be feeling the outcome.
Maybe he should call Charles and just call this whole thing off. Togo stopped halfway down the hallway, towards his room, at that very thought. He had meant to call this night off but his brain had gone the next step. To break it off with his human?
The husky shook his head as the feel, the smell of the whole house was bringing him down. It was almost infectious that the Alpha’s depression would affect everyone else in the home. It made the normally overly excited, happy husky depressed and he ended up just crashing on his bed looking up at the ceiling.
Reese would want to be alone at a time like this. Togo would ask him later on about what had happened, not that he needed it spelled out. It might help if they talked it out though. Bring the ugly thing into the light of day.
While the wolf would want to be left the fuck alone, Togo felt needier than ever. Depressed like this he wanted to hold something. Someone. To snuggle and try to forget about all this. It was what he did. What a husky did, the thought of himself being such a stereotype made him roll over and bury his face against his pillow.
“Damnit, fuck, shit.” Togo just growled loudly. He hated silence.
While the other dogs were clearly in a mood over what had happened, their concerns and insults were rather valid on more levels than one. Togo was terrible with relationships. Everything always went just fine until they actually said they were in a relationship, that they loved each other and after that, every time, things would just fall about. For one reason or another. Every time.
Maybe he was someone that is just cursed to be left alone. Single. For the rest of his dog days.
There was a knock on the door and from the sound of his footsteps, and smell, Togo could tell it was Clem.
“You doing ok?” The orange fur boxer asked as he walked in and took a seat on the bed.
“What do you think?” Togo only snarled back, getting moody himself. He turned away from the boxer, who reached over and began scratching his back lightly. Togo closed his eyes at that. “How did the two break up?” Togo asked the boxer, figuring he would know about the wolf and sheep. That alone summed everything up.
Clem shrugged, knowing why Togo was asking though. The husky was fishing for ways, means or fears of how Charles might break up with him.
“Chance encounter.” Clem just said lightly. “The two were going out on date night and ended up running into his parents. From what I could gather, Reese was being used as some sort of means to get back at his family. Dude was a total rebel, thrill junkie. And Reese? Is an ancient relic from times long since pass.” The boxer rolled his eyes. “Wanting the newspaper.”
“His reading glasses.” Togo jumped.
“His slippers.” Clem nodded.
“Reading the news while the radio was on.” The husky turned back to look at the boxer sitting on his bed.
“With a wife making an apple pie.” Clem smiled softly as the two went back to joking about how Reese was an old school guy.
“With one of those ugly flower pattern aprons.” Togo sat up a bit, chuckling at the picture.
“Oven mitts and everything.”
“And a shit ton of little rugrats running around!” Togo laughed at the idea of Reese settling down to start a family.
The two shared a laugh.
“You going to be ok?” Clem asked as if it was Togo who had just gotten dumped.
“I’ll be fine.” Togo rolled his eyes, getting up enough to sit next to his friend. The boxer looked away as Togo leaned against him, placing a hand on his thigh. To most it might look intimate but for canines, such closeness was natural. Even if the boxer didn’t enjoy it as much. “With Charles…” The husky began slowly.
“Got to do something big.” Clem picked at his teeth with one of his nails, looking off to the side. “And maybe clean up your room.” The boxer laughed.
Togo just thought that over. “Like what?”
“Well, you’re prob doing it daily, nightly and ever so rightly.” Clem teased, patting Togo’s back a couple of times. “But that’s what a mistress does. Sex on the side, everything else with the misses.”
Togo frowned at that, looking at him.
“What I mean…” Clem raised his hands as if Togo was about to hit him. “You need to become the misses rather than the mistress.”
Togo only quirked his head to one side, still confused.
“Got to make it real, dude. Can’t just like fuck and then just let him go home. Got to like really tie him down…” Clem punched his palm and twisted his fist back and force. “Really drive it home, drill him until…” He looked at the husky. “What?”
“Dude, you need to get laid.” Togo snorted. Clem gave him a playful, yet painful, punch for that.
“You know what I mean!” Clem added sticking his tongue out, flipping him off. Then the two laughed. The boxer had always been close friends with Togo and the two could always raise one another spirits up. “Like, shit man. If you even care for this human you got to fight for him.”
Togo thought that over, rubbing his chin as he did so. “Uh… how do I do that? I mean outside the bedroom,” he rolled his eyes. The two knew Togo didn’t have a problem in that regards. The problem was taking that energy and putting it to more constructive, less sticky, activities.
“Well, buying things is a start.” Clem shrugged, resting back now on the bed. Togo laid back with him and the two stared up at the ceiling.
“Like, uh, diamonds?” Togo asked, worried now. He wasn’t the wealthiest dog around.
“No, dummy.” Clem laughed, nudging the husky. While Togo was touchier feely type of guy, Clem had a habit of hitting and nudge, pushing or even kicking to show his affection. “Like flowers! Or something sentimental. Something, he can like use and remember you while doing so.” Clem fussed up Togo’s hair, even being only a few inches taller he knew it bugged the husky and thus did it as such.
“Like a butt blug?” Togo asked, ears jumping up.
“No! Fuck, dude sick.” Clem laughed, shoving him away. “Like a collar or something, shit.” The boxer rolled his eyes. While Togo was a horn dog, Clem was far more neutral on the matter. When your able to give yourself head there was too much rush to find someone else to do it for you.
Togo snickered though at the thought. He had a few spares that he could give to Charles, only partly used. They shared everything else.
“Just got to take it to the next level is all.” Clem rolled over and was rummaging in Togo’s nightstand drawer. He shut the first one, filled with various toys, and opened the next. Pulling out the bong and the two shared a bowl as they talked about it.
“Get him a drawer here.” Clem said after a few minutes, coughing a bit as he pointing over towards the cabinet. “A place that is his and he can keep his things. Cloths and what not.”
Togo took a much larger breath, letting the smoke seep out the side of his muzzle as he nodded along. “Been thinking of cleaning out my side closet, so he has some place to keep his things.” Togo grinned widely though as the smoke went to his head. “A place for him. A home to stay here.” And his curled tail wagged a few times at the thought of it.
“Uh, one thing at a time.” Clem chuckled. The boxer had a high tolerance for most things and smoking was just another on the list. He took another lung full. “Was thinking of clearing out the basement. It’d take a lot of work, adding carpet down and sealant for the walls so it doesn’t flood during winter.” The boxer thought that over, it took more effort than normal too. “Clear it out. Give more than enough room for you two.” And then the boxer scratched the side of his face, looking away as he based the bong back over. “And maybe I can get my own spot then.”
Togo snickered at that. “Yeah, dude. You can have my room once we get it all fixed up.” He just grinned again. “Our own little den.” And he rested back once more, kicking both legs up.
Clem rolled his eyes. “One step at a time.”
It went on until Togo said he had to go give his man a ride. Which only made the husky snicker some more. Togo took another ten minutes to look himself over in the body sized mirror next to his door. Making sure his fur wasn’t a mess; changing his outfit more than once and even licked his finger to smooth out his eyebrows. He then watched himself as he moved his ears back and forth, to the side and back up. Trying to find the best spot to keep them at.
Clem watched with great amusement as Togo became a prissy little prom queen for five minutes before manning back up. None of the dog’s used deodorant, hair gel or anything else that would stink the place up. They had special non scented soaps and though there was plenty of products that were scentless, most cost an arm and leg to afford. Let alone for the amount of fur gel one needed just for a single outing.
Togo tried to keep himself clean, natural and just himself. He didn’t doll himself up with makeup or try to be slick and smooth with fur gel. He didn’t make himself look as if he just got out of bed, yet took two hours to do so like most hipsters. Togo was just himself and that’s what you got.
With that in mind, with a grin on a face and a bounce to his step Togo headed out.
It was a smooth drive there, even though a cop was eying him suspiciously at a red light. Togo had texted him in advanced, yet was surprised to find Charles wasn’t waiting outside for him. The husky double checked himself in the mirror before getting out and heading over to the door.
Togo wrapped his knuckle on it, to find it was slightly open.
“Charles?” Togo called into the dark home. Even covered in fur, Togo shivered at the cold. It was eerily quiet and the sound of his footsteps echoed as he headed in. “Charles you home?” The husky called, one ear perked up as he caught a sound and headed into the living room.
“Hey.” Charles said from the couch, wrapped in a blanket watching an old movie. The man had a blank expression as he watched.
Togo looked over to find it was some recording of a high school prom. It took him a moment to spot Charles amongst the large group of people. It took less time to spot the prom queen Marcy standing nearby, surrounded by guys.
“She liked to tell me just how many guys were into her.” Charles began, staring at the screen with dead eyes. “That my own brother had hit on her. That all the girls were jealous of her.”
Togo ears splayed out as he looked back over at his friend. From Reese to Charles; today was just not a happy day. He didn’t say anything at first as he walked over to take a seat next to him, sliding a hand under the blanket to place on his knee.
“Back then I knew exactly what I wanted. What I needed. Who I was and just…” Charles shook his head, turning the movie off. “And now?”
Togo didn’t wait to give him a big, strong hug and pulled the man up and into his lap. The husky just nosed down at him, licking the side of his cheek. “I know, bud.” Togo said softly against his ear.
“Just, everything is falling to shit and I can’t do anything to…” Charles held back the tears as he rested against Togo’s furry chest; the husky shirt being open even at night. The musky scent of the husky was soothing.
Togo rubbed his back, giving him another strong hug. “Maybe you just need to take some time off?” Togo had talked about this before and tried again, carefully as if walking on egg shells. “Just a few days to yourself.”
“Hah, yeah. And I’d go where exactly?” Charles gave a broken laugh and shook his head. Togo didn’t let him pull away though, keeping him close to the husky warm chest. Charles gripped Togo’s shirt, still on the verge of tears.
“I was thinking you could stay with me, if you wanted.” Togo finally eased up. Having just held him for a full minute before continuing. “Cleared out some space in my closet for your stuff and like, I know the others wouldn’t mind.” Togo lifted Charles chin up slowly and without caring if anyone else was home, gave his man a good long kiss, sliding his tongue in to taste him.
“Togo,” Charles began slowly after. He swallowed, shaking his head. “I can’t ask that of you.”
“I was the one to offer.” Togo just replied, looking into Charles eyes. “What kind of guy would I be if I wasn’t there for a friend in need?”
Charles laughed at that, then began to cry as he was wrapped up in another strong hug. He wasn’t sure where he’d be if Togo wasn’t here for him now. He’d never have to strength, the confidence to go out and get a place on his own. Ending up in a place he couldn’t get away from being in too deep.
The two didn’t talk much after that as they packed up enough cloths for Charles to stay at his place for a week if need be. From there Charles collected what little personal items he needed. His wallet, cell phone, keys and that was about it. After everything was said and done what he had, that wasn’t cloths, could fit into his pockets. How sad that was; Togo didn’t say a thing on the matter as he guided his friend out. The husky even closed and locked the door after for him while Charles got into the passenger seat.
“I was going to give it to you at the door, but.” Togo said after getting into the driver’s seat. He pulled from under the seat a box of chocolates. “I know you like them.” The husky smiled guiltily. “And since I can’t have any, you’ve haven’t been eating any.”
Charles did laugh at that as he took the slightly bent, probably sat on box of dollar store chocolates.
“How’d you know?” The man just smiled, placing a hand on top of it.
Togo just shrugged. “Well I listen for starts.” He teased, starting up the car. “You sure you want to leave your car here?”
“I’ll come back for it. And the rest of my things.” Charles just conceded, resting back. Drained, tired from the long emotional day. This morning had been going so well too.
Charles covered his eyes as the street lights passed by. Togo had placed a hand on his leg, rubbing up and down every now and then as he drove slow and steady. Charles didn’t even notice when they left the city, only once the city lights were far behind them did he sit back up to look.
“The hell we going?” He asked with a yawn, stretching a bit.
“I’m kidnapping you, obviously.” Togo just smiled as he drove up towards the mountains.
“You know I work in the morning, right?” Charles just rolled a shoulder, not evening seeming to be bothered with the notion of being kidnapped.
“Relax. It’ll only be a short kidnapping. Do unspeakable things to you in the woods before going back home.” Togo wagged at the idea of that. Home, their home.
“Fun, fun.” Charles just unbuckled, scooting over to the middle seat and rested against the husky who wrapped an arm around in in turn. Togo kissed the top of his head as they drove into the night.
The wheels crunched against a gravel outing and Togo turned the car off. He had back up into an overlook up in the mountains, a place to pull over in case of car problems. For them it was a place they could cuddle up in the back of the truck with a few heavy blankets and stare out over the city below.
“These smell.” Charles said as Togo laid one of the heavy blankets down for them in the back of the truck. He kept it open and hopped up in, offering a hand to Charles.
“Their Clem’s.” Togo just laughed. They did stink of the boxer. A musty smell from being in the truck for a while. “This is Clem’s truck after all.” Togo just clarified as he probed up Charles’s bag to be used as a pillow.
“Nice of him to let us use it.” Charles stood there awkwardly for a bit before he finally laid down next to the husky who pulled him close. Togo placed the other blanket over them, mostly on Charles as his thick fur kept him warm even in cold nights. Charles wrinkled his nose, “it’s like Clem was here with us.”
“I’m sure he’d like that.” Togo just chuckled and nosed his face. Licking softly at his cheek once more. “Cause I know, I’m glad you are.”
Charles smiled at that. Brutal honesty from the husky was so refreshing after all the games he had to play at home. The tricks, the lies, the manipulation and put downs. Just how simple things were with Togo, out here under the stars. And how happy it made him, able to relax. To let his guard down like this.
This is how it should be. When life’s being a bitch, the one you are with should be there for you. To support you despite it all. Not the one to cause all your grief and suffering, pouring salt into the wound. Kick you while your down.
Charles shivered from the thought and Togo just scooted closer. Wrapping a leg around him, sliding it back between the humans. The husky wiggled his toes against Charles naked flesh as he nosed him once more. He didn’t need to say anything; the man knew Togo would be his warmth for him as he was pulled against that burly furry chest once more.
His fur was soft. It slid so easily through Charles fingers as he pet the husky’s chest. The man could hear Togo take a slow breath at that, feel him release it after. The sound of his heart beat was loud against his fingers; the heat radiating from him made the man shiver again. A warm muskiness that clung to his skin as if it were his own. And Charles loved that, scooting closer to press himself fully against the husky now.
“Look,” Togo said staring up at the night sky. Charles did. And if just for them the stars began to shoot across the night sky. “Make a wish.” The husky looked back down at him, seeming to find Charles more beautiful than any star above.
“Heh,” Charles flushed a bit at that. Those eyes bored into him as if the husky had no shame, no want or need to hold back how he felt for this man. “Like I could ask for anything else.” He flushed again. Maybe from what he said, maybe from the warmth of the canine. He was sure it was because of Togo, that much he knew.
“Oh?” Togo ears perked up as he grinned widely, his black lips splitting enough to show off his teeth. “I think… I’d wish I could eat chocolate!” The canine said with a wag of his tail.
Charles laughed at that and tickled him making the larger husky squirm about. Togo giggled some more, then stopped. As Charles kissed his large bumpy black nose.
The husky’s ears fell back for only a second. Just long enough for him to wrap both arms around his man and pull him closer into a deep, wet, sloppy kiss as the husky didn’t hold back this time. Drooling against Charles cheek as he slipped his tongue deep inside, tasting and wrestling with the man’s tongue until it submitted to him. Rolled Charles onto his back and climbed up on top, pressed him lightly against the truck as he gave himself to the man.
Togo slid his fingers underneath Charles shirt, dragging his dull nails down his bare flesh as he huffed, panting against him now as he kissed him once more. Then again, and again. Licking and slurping at his face as he nipped and pulled at his bottom lip.
“Fuck, Charles. Fuck it,” Togo whined pressing his face down against the man’s chest, while his hands worked and undid the human’s belt. It didn’t take long for him to coax Charles hard member out and into the night air.
The man gasped at the sudden chill; Togo didn’t wait as he moved down to kiss his fat head, nosing and sniffing at his curly hair and lapping up one his balls up into his hungry muzzle. Letting it drool out in a pool of spittle. The husky just nosed and sniffed at him more, licking and tasting the harshness of his day. Gulping it down for him, cleaning his man up as he went down over his length and back up.
Charles sat up, painfully erect from the husky’s attention. He was already pre’ing. Something that didn’t go unnoticed by the hungry husky who lapped it up.
“T-Togo, fuck dude.” Charles said, covering his face as he went beet red.
The husky just stuck his butt up in the air, wagging quickly as he nosed down under his sack to push against his taint. The cold nose in such a spot made Charles jump a bit. Something the husky was counting on as he slipped his tongue down to tease his tail hole. Charles only gasped at that.
Togo held his legs up, getting Charles to lay in a rather odd position as the husky ate him out. Licking and slurping up over his tight tail hole, plunging his thick fatty tongue inside making his man squirm for him. Togo was sniffing, breathing in Charles musky groin and it was getting himself leaking at this point. The husky ignored his own aching, needy member though as he went back up to work on his humans.
The husky brought two fingers down to keep teasing his tight tail hole as he went down on him once more. Practically swallowing his whole length in one gulp; that rough grooved tongue slurping up its underside as he pulled back up and off. Watching it bounce in the air.
Togo licked his lips, using his other hand to take hold of its base to jerk off. Letting his strong padded fingers do their job as he rolled the taste of his mate around in his mouth.
Charles was hot in the face, just panting heavily and holding the side of the truck for support as the husky went back down on him. All the way to the point his large bumpy black nose pushed against his curly hair once more. Taking in a slow, deep breath of him. Knowing his scent as he played with his sack, fingering his hole and licking, teasing his head with the dog’s oversized tongue.
There was no warning for the man as he came, hard into the hungry husky muzzle. Togo could tell. The change in his heart beat, the noticeable tinge in his scent. All little, subtle cues to when he was about to pop. The husky just sealed his lips firmly around his length, giving one finger push with his two fingers deep inside him and let Charles spill out onto his red welcome mat.
Togo waited, collecting every drop of the man before pulling off. It made his taste buds dance in delight as Charles spooge pooled onto his tongue. The husky tilted his head up, letting Charles watch as he swallowed every drop of him. Licking his lips, Togo moved back down to curl up in his human’s naked lap.
“Fuck, that’s hot.” Charles just panted, sitting up a bit. He scratched the back of Togo’s head, behind his ears and around his strong neck.
“I know.” Togo only smiled as he nosed the crook of Charles leg. He could just fall asleep like this. Head scratches and ball sniffs.
“Togo,” Charles begun slowly trying to find the right words. The high from his release was slowly dissipating thanks to the cold of the night. He still felt abnormally warm though with the husky curled up like this in his lap. “Just… thanks. For everything. You don’t know how much this means to me.”
Togo sat up a bit, moved in just enough to give him a kiss and held the side of his face. “I know.” The husky only teased some more. “You don’t have to tell me, hun. I’m just glad I can be the one to be here for you.”
Charles flushed a bit at that, truly thankful for Togo in his life. He moved closer, hesitated for a second then kissed him lightly. “Do you want me to…” Charles gestured down at the large bulge in Togo’s pants.
The husky smirked though, shaking his head. “Not tonight, babe. This is your night.” And he just moved closer, beginning to jerk Charles off again. “Let’s see how many times we can get you off, shall we?”
Charles squirmed, putting one of his legs up on the side of the truck as the husky worked his member faster and faster with an evil grin.
It would be much later that night when Togo carried Charles into the Dog House, down the hall and into their room. He placed his human carefully down on the bed, covering his naked body up with a blanket and kissing his cheek.
Togo headed into the bathroom to clean up a bit when he spied Reese’s door slightly ajar. Filled with determination, and spooge, Togo knocked on the wolf’s door.
“Hey.” The husky said coming in the next second. All the lights were off and the only thing he could see were the pair of golden eyes looking back at him. “Need to talk?” And the husky took a seat on the corner of the large wolf’s bed.
