The Journey by Raven Fox: a human male ends up on an adventure when civilization ends. He ends up being a mate to an anthropomorphic female wolf.

Everett Washington, present day.

John glares at his TV set, as the news showed more destruction of people's property in cities. He scratches his dark brown hair and rubbed his green eyes., " What is it with this shit; I just can't stand what people are doing in those cities." The human said to himself.

He sighs to himself, then looks around his living room. John gets off the couch and walks to the bathroom. The male human looks at his reflection studying his features. He sees a lean featured face and body. John looks at his light tanned skin, due to his job that has him outside. Cussing to himself, the male human walked outside his apartment and looked around that area he lives.

After looking around, John went back inside. He looked at the time and decided to go to bed. The human read a book to till he felt sleepy and fell asleep.

The next day.

His phone rang making him answering it; it was his boss., "Sorry, our place got burned down last night. Everything is destroyed, there's nothing left. I am calling everyone to tell them that I am not rebuilding here. Going to rebuild at Rock Springs Wyoming, if you want to still work for me, you half to move to Wyoming.."

"Hell yeah, I have an Uncle who has an extra place I can live in. I am glad that I didn't renew my lease to my apartment." John said to his boss.

"Can you get temporary work till I get everything going again?" Asked his boss.

"Sure, sure, there's a few places that will hire me till you are up and running." He said being glad that he saved up a good chunk of money.

"Alright, I'll email my contact info; so far, you and three other employees are going with me to Wyoming." The phone clicked as the other hung up.

John looked at the old school rotary phone with a grin. Plans went thru his mind as he tabulated as how much this move is going to eat up his savings. The current crisis the United States is having with the corona virus and the riots made him decide to move to a more rural place of residence. He felt no guilt of leaving this state, he is the only child in the family and his parents are living in a nursing home in Boise Idaho. So, he will be closer to them and his 1993 Honda Accord had the timing belt water pump service done to it a month ago when he got the stimulus check.

"I am out of here!!" His mind screamed as he walked to the leasing office.

One week later, south of Twin Falls Idaho, going down hwy 93.

Grinning to himself, John decided to do a detour. It's been a few years since he was in bed with a woman. So like any guy, he needed some relief and it's been a few days since he masturbated. Driving a delivery truck is up pretty easy job in his opinion. John has gotten a hold of his boss finding out that his boss has leased a close down warehouse for his new manufacturing place. "It's going to take me two months to get things up and going again. So just be patient and in a little over two months, we will be back in business. I'm glad that you decided to move over in this area, I have a bad feeling that things are going to get ugly at the large cities. So keep in touch, I might have you help me get things setup here. Talk to you later John, see you soon." Said his boss.

He hung up his phone and looked outside an admiring the open view of the countryside. The human's mind wandered and thought of how he is going to make two months go by real fast, but he relaxed being glad that he is no longer in that crowded cesspool of a large city. John walked to the living room turning on the TV and placed a DVD in the player not seeing the graphic breaking news on the TV screen.

Hours later, when it was dark, that distant flashes of light got his attention. Thru the view of the living room window, he saw white flashes in the distant where large cities were. " What is going on? Those look like new nuclear explosions in the distance." John thought to himself watching the flashes. He went to turn on as TV seeing only a blue screen with no signal on it. That's human's blood run cold think and what can be happening right now. John just turned off his TV and went to bed.

In the middle of the night, he was shaken awake by something unknown. All what John can sense was a smell of a large canine and inhuman strength. The human is dragged out of his home in to a type of craft parked on the street.

Minutes later, found him inside a brightly lit compartment with a few other humans with him. John looked around his surroundings seeing tall figure's with fur making them look like large canines walking upright. He studied them trying to figure out what they remind him of. "They kind of look like either coyotes or jackals. Anthropomorphic beings like on furry web sites, I thought they were make believe like other mythical creatures like dragons, unicorns and the loch nests monster." John thought to himself watching the anthropomorphic canines walking around. Being that age of 28, the human decided to keep his mouth shut. A few minutes later, he felt the craft he was on liftoff.

The ride in this craft only lasted maybe like 5 to 10 minutes before it settled down on a deck. He is lifted up and walked to a lowered ramp on to a dark gray deck. John looked around studying his surroundings. The place, the human found himself in reminded him of a hanger deck of a navy aircraft carrier. He saw roughly around 50 craft that reminded him of shuttle craft like from the TV series star trek. John is pushed forward by somebody making him look back seeing a canine them look like a jackal.

"Move it human, just walk forward. If you listen, nothing will happen to you." Said the Jackal.

He cooperated and walks forward still looking around. John exited the hangar deck, deciding the call that space a hangar deck. The human walked down a passageway passing other canines seeing ones that looked like wolves, some more jackals and he also saw domestic breed canines. He just kept his mouth shut and made himself maneuvered to where they want him to go. The walk lasted another five to 10 minutes before he is at the door. John waited as the Jackal behind him open the door.

The place he found himself in reminded him of an office with a desk facing him. A male anthropomorphic gray colored wolf stared at him with yellow colored eyes. John still not uttering a word just studied the canine looking at him.

"What is your name human?" Asked the wolf.

"My name is John." Answered the human still reeling up to what just happened to him. He relaxed waiting in what the wolf is going to do to him.

The wolf just stared at him with those yellow colored eyes., "I am the captain of a ship. My people and some other races just attacked your world. It was really easy, you humans were distracted of what was happening on your planet and you failed to see what was coming from the sky. Enough of this, my name is Khan. So John, I'm giving you a choice. Join my crew or become one of the personnel who cleans my ship."

John acted like he was thinking, but he already made this choice. He did spend some time being on a cleaning staff, but he swore he'll never do that job again., "So as a new crew member. What will I be doing sir or captain, sorry, how do you want me to address you?"

The wolf grinned at him showing his large canines making the human cringe at the site of the large teeth., "You address me as captain, Zod, take John to I division berthing. I will make him an infiltrator along with Flex."

He is taken out of the office and is walked down a different passageway. Then up a couple of set of stairs. Down another passageway to what seems a very long walk. Finally, John is at a large door and Zod open the door revealing a very large room.

This room has at least 100 bunk beds with different morphs. John saw other wolves, jackals, fox's and a few species of felines. The human is guided in while the other morphs looked at him. He followed the jackal into the large room looking around, taking in his surroundings while the other morphs talked to themselves.

" Here is where you will be staying as a new crew member. Life on this ship is not real bad, as long you listen to us." Said Zod guiding him to a bunk. The jackal turn to the human saying., " Just do as you're told and do fine with us."

He sits on the bunk and relaxes looking around seeing the other morphs looking at him. The human takes off shoes and lays down sighing to himself and listens.

The next day, on board the unknown ship.

His morning meal consisted of chunks of beef and potatoes. John realizes that life on board the ship might be all right. Some of the other morphs became friends with him explaining what they do. Due to the way life treated him, he might end up in liking the life of a pirate. Right now, he is eating as breakfast with a couple of felines and a young male wolf.

"So, John, life isn't bad on the ship. We get a cut of the plunder, plus the benefits aren't that bad. It's just 90% boredom, 5% action and 5% female company when we get a chance." Said Fitz, the male ocelot who befriended him last night.

John nodded and continued eating his meal. He looked at the male wolf who is sitting next to the feline. The wolf called himself Dante and the human really liked him. So John continued eating his breakfast and talking to his friends.

Days later, a training room.

He hit the deck feeling the soft floor give under him. Looking up, the human saw the male jackal Flex looking at him shaking his canine head.

"Don't be predictable human, that's how I bested you. When you fight, be unpredictable in your movements." Said the canine offering a hand.

John sighs accepting Flexs' help in getting up. The human nodded getting in a fighting stance.

Thru a window, Khan with Zod watched the pair spared., "So how's he doing?" Asked to the wolf to the jackal.

"Ok, needs' to improve, but Flex says' he's trainable. I think the human will be ready before the next mission." Said the jackal watching the sparring match. Thru the window, he saw the human do a strange move that made the jackal ending up on the floor., "Wow, I say the Flex is a good foot taller and outweighs that human by sixty pounds."

The human saw the jackal on the floor looking at him with a shock look. John wondered if Flex is going to rip him apart. He went in shock when the canine started laughing.

"Good, good, finally you are learning human. What was that fighting technique?" Asked Flex accepting Johns' out stretched hand.

"Jujutsu, it's a martial art form of unarmed fighting that uses your opponents fighting force and body mass against them." Replied John getting in a stance again.

"This is the last round; you want my opinion, what you just used on me. You use on your enemies. It seems that fighting technique is the only way you can defeat any morph you end up fighting on your missions. Wolves are big, but you're quicker. Jackals like me have speed, but you half to outsmart us like you just did to me just now. But beware of felines, they're armed with claws and they're really fast." Flex said getting in a stance.

"What about foxes?" Asked the human.

"Fighting them is like fighting a feline and a jackal. They have speed, smarts and sharp claws." Answered the jackal and went to attack the human.

"Yep, I think he will be ready for the next mission." Said Zod watching Flex ending up on the floor again.

The canines watched as Flex is helped up and the two walked to the locker room. Khan looked at Zod., "Alright, that fighting style seems weird, but he will be ready."

Four weeks later, a city at an unknown planet.

The craft landed at the outskirts of the large city, around twenty figures exited the craft. John followed Fitz and his group to a section of the city. Memories went thru the humans' mind of the last four weeks. He went thru a couple of initiations of fighting a few of Khans' crewmembers. John had to fight a couple of wolves and foxes that pushed his fighting skills, then after fighting the canines. He had to fight a few of the felines. The human had to fight a large tiger morph, an ocelot that wasn't Fitz and a bobcat. John made a mental note never to piss off Fitz because ocelots are a couple of inches taller than him. In his opinion, ocelots were nasty fighters because they seem to have lighting quick reflexes., "But that cheetah was nasty to, Khans' second in command who is called number one. He almost had me, but Khan called an end to that round." John thought to himself.

Minutes later found the group outside a building looking at the empty street nearby. The human looked at the feline., "So, what is the plan?"

The male ocelot grinned showing his sharp feline teeth., "Just making a few withdrawals here. The other groups are doing the same thing at different locations." He picked the door lock after disabling the alarm system. Fitz started to go in, but stopped the human., "Stand guard human, I'll just be a few minutes." The feline said going in the place.

John moved himself at a point so that he can have a good view of the street. He relaxed and stayed alert hearing the quiet footsteps of his friend in the building, the sound faded and everything is quiet. The human stayed on guard seeing a figure walking to him, making him go alert.

"So, what are you doing here?" Asked a female voice.

The human turned to the tall figure standing next to him. He calmed himself examining the female standing next to him., "A female wolf, Khans' right, they are taller than a male wolf." John thought to himself estimating her height at seven feet compared to his even five feet. The human shrugged., "I am waiting for a friend of mine." John said taking in her features.

The female wolf is different shades of grey for what he saw of her fur coloring, plus shades of grey for her long head hair. John took note that she's wearing a type of shirt that is tight at her large breasts that are threatening to burst out, but the shirt is loose at the abdominal area.

A hand gently tilted his head up and he found himself gazing at teal colored eyes., "My eyes are up here human. Maybe someday if we become friends, I just might show you what's under my shirt. So stay out of trouble human." She starts to walk away.

"My name is John, what is yours? How do I get a hold of you?" Asked the human.

"It's not intelligent asking a question with a question John. My name is Eliza; I'll find you when I want to see you again." Said the female wolf and she walked away.

The human watched as she disappeared around a building. He did a mild jump when Fitz came out of the building.

" Whoa, why are you so jumpy my friend?" Asked Fitz pocketing a bunch of objects that looked like usb sticks.

"A female wolf just talked to me." John said describing the female wolf in question. His description earned a feline hiss from the ocelot.

"Beware of her, John, I heard rumors about Eliza. Some say she's a pirate queen, others say she's a member of a rival group of ours. But I think she's just a pack leader, an alpha. But beware of that wolf, but never tell Khan of her, I heard that she's his ex-girlfriend." Said the feline and the two walked back to the rendezvous area.

A distance away, the female wolf watched the two figures walk away. She reached up between her legs and rubbed her vulva for a few seconds. Eliza then stuck her hands under her shirt and rubbed her lower two sets of breasts., "What you don't know human, we are different than wolves depicted on furry web sites. The web sites have the males' right, but we females are more feral. We choose our mates and I choose you human. Hope you don't mind a female with six breasts, but I want to have fun with you first." The wolfess says and opens her shirt looking at her assets. She saw the large top row and gazed at the bottom two rows that are smaller than the top row. Eliza rubbed all six of them triggering a gasp and then she stuck her fingers in her canine vulva.

Minutes later, a shuttle craft achieving orbit.

John looked down at the planet watching it grow small as the shuttle broke orbit. He listened as the hyper drive spun up and the stars streaked. The human looked at the other morphs talking to each other. Some are friends with John, but it's mostly the felines and a few foxes that befriended him. So he relaxed knowing that it is going to be a three hour jump to the ship.

Hours later approaching the Botany Bay.

The human looked at the ship in space doing a silent chuckle. He's a Star Trek fan of the old series from the 1960s'. John wondered if TV signals went to this section of the universe inspiring Khan to name his ship after the Khans' ship from the episode Space Seed. But this Botany Bay didn't look like the old Earth ship from the sci-fi series. It looks like the USCSS Covenant from the movie Alien Covenant. The human sighed to himself resting on his chair as the shuttle docked.

Three weeks later, a floating high tech city.

"What is with this place, my feline friend?" Asked the human to the ocelot sitting next to him.

Fitz looked at the large disk shaped city above greenish colored clouds below the city. He looked at the large diameter pipe attached to a ring built at orbit attached to the city. The feline turned to the human doing one of his toothy grins causing John to flinch, making him chuckle., "The planet has a poisoned atmosphere that will kill an oxygen breathing life form. But a few hundred years ago, a mineral was discovered by accident. So a ringed station was built around the equatorial orbit and a city was built at the bottom of a space elevator. Instead of landing at the station, we're landing at the city."

John felt the turbulence as the shuttle went thru the atmosphere; He closed his eyes gripping the armrests wondering if he will ever get use to this. This is the third mission since his first mission. But the female wolf Eliza has been haunting his dreams and thoughts since he ran into her. The human put her out of his mind and concentrated on the mission.

Hours later, inside City H5894.

"Be back here in three hours, the shuttle had to do another mission. That is why it left us, so stay low and don't get into trouble. John, if someone asks for ID, show them this." Fitz said giving him a card.

He took the card and looked at his old Timex watch walking away. The human looked at the different shops knowing from what he saw that this place is a mining town from the scruffy looking morphs and the condition of the structures nearby. John kept himself alert by looking around at the different morphs and he saw some humans., "Oh my, I think I am lucky being in my current situation with that group of pirates. These humans don't look so good, but I know a few." He thought to himself recognizing a few from news broadcasts., "Can't happen to nicer people, there's a few state governors in that group going to that elevator." The human thought to himself and was about to laugh when a hand went over his mouth.

"Stay quiet or you will be joining them John." Said Eliza pressing her body to his back pressing her large breasts on his back making the human relax., "Most security personal will honor that card, but some will take it from you and this place gets a new miner. So just walk with me, I like to take you on a date." The wolfess felt the human nod his head., "Good choice." She takes his hand and leads in a different direction.

The human looked at the wolfess noting that she's wearing a dark blue top, but her abdominal area has a tight wrap on it. John is concerned because the wrap is thick, but he liked the wolfess., "Are you injured?" He asked seeing her turn her teal colored gaze at him making him gestured at her abdominal area.

She chuckles shaking her head., "No, I am fine, it's fashion. Your best choice is to stick with me."

"I have no problem in being your date Eliza. Where are we going to, I half to be back at the shuttle platform in two hours and fifty five minutes." The human said accepting her hand again feeling the calloused parts.

An hour later, a section of the city.

John had a nice talk with Eliza while they walked thru the city. He told her what transpired after joining Khans' crew. The human noted that the wolfess stayed silent till what happen after he meet her.

She laughed and shook her head., "I am no pirate queen, but there is one part that is true. I did dated Khan, but he dumped me because I didn't want to join his harem. But stick to Fitzs' warning, don't mention me to him or you will end up in the darkest place in his ship cleaning that area. I would like to see you again human and I am starting to like you." Eliz looks at something replying., "Oh shit." At the group of foxes surrounding the couple.

A Todd walked up to the couple., "I told you never go to our section of the city Eliza."

"I am sorry Al; I didn't know you changed the boundaries of your turf. Just let me walk out of here with him." Said the wolfess and she started to walk but their way is blocked by foxes.

"He may go, but you stay here....." The rest of the sentence was a series of barks and sounds.

The human may be a low life at the current moment, but he wasn't going to leave the wolfess to her fate with these vulpines. John wish he understood what the fox just said, but he didn't know the language of the foxes, but he knew how to trick them. The human looked at the leader., "I don't know what she did to you, but it's none of my business. You said that I can leave, but with what I can carry. I do have your word as a leader."

"You can leave with what you can carry; you have my word as a member of the vulpine species." Replied Al looking at the human.

John walked up to Eliza getting down and draped her body over his shoulders, lifting her up carrying her away. He knew that his back is going to hurt after this, but he started walking thru the foxes with the wolfess on his shoulders. The human heard a strange sound, the foxes were laughing.

"Put her down, she can leave with you. Come back here, I want to talk with you. You have my word that nothing will happen to you." Said Al still laughing. The human heard growls and barks from the wolfess as he put her back down.

He looked at the foxes staring at him as he and the wolfess walked back to the leader of the foxes. The human saw that he's looking at her instead of him. John heard Eliza made those sounds of the wolves' language to Al. He made a note to learn a few languages or buy a universal translator.

She just had a talk with him telling him to keep his mouth shut of who she's really is. But Al is a fox of his word and he can't take her or he will lose respect of the vulpines of this city. Eliza can't believe that John actually tried to carry her out of this and she now owed him, lupine honor that she does something in return. She will soon, but not now because she's not ready., "I am glad that I am wearing that wrap around my abdomen, but now my lower boobs hurt. John I am having you massage them and suck on them when I catch you." Eliza thought to herself and looked at Al., "Ok, let's talk, but we have only forty minutes." The wolfess said to the fox.

One hour later, the group of foxes.

"You're lucky that you broke up with Khan Eliza. But I like that human.." Al started to say.

"He's mine; I am going to take him as a mate. Wolf honor states that I repay him for what he just did." The wolfess said to the Todd.

"A few vixens went wet at that stunt, is there a chance.." The fox started to say.

"Ok, I'll share if your group helps out, but there's nothing we can do regarding Earth because it's under new management and they don't want the humans back on that planet." Eliza said and they talked some more.

Minutes later, the wolfess walked to her shuttle thinking. She did a silent chuckle at the stunt the human pulled getting her out of that situation with Al, but it had some good and earned her an ally. Khan is a problem that needed to be taken care of and he's just using members of his crew. But the recent robbery cost Al millions of credits and he thought she was responsible, that was the reason he was going to keep her. But Johns' stunt got her out that situation., "But, John is going to end up with me and he earned Als' respect." Eliza thought to herself starting her shuttles' systems.

Another four weeks later, surface of a class M planet.

"This planet and city is a lot better than that poisonous one four weeks ago. Kind of reminds me of Leavenworth Washington back home." John said walking with the group. It's been four weeks since he saw the wolfess and wondered if she's ok. The human wanted to see her again, plus it's been since that time at Donnas' ranch since he had gotten laid. There's no privacy on the Botany Bay and he hasn't had a chance to masturbate., "Maybe I'll get some privacy and relieve myself of my urges in a bathroom." The human thought to himself and followed the group to their next job.

Hours later.

The robbery went wrong, someone in the other group screwed up and now Fitzs' group is being chased by a security force vehicle. John is driving a vehicle which consisted of a mono wheel that required the operator to lean in the direction to turn. The human is at the controls while his ocelot friend is facing back firing a weapon at the vehicle chasing them.

"John, try to drive straight and I might be able to hit the one chasing us." Said the feline firing his weapon.

"I am trying, but I am trying not get us killed by hitting a building." John said trying to keep this vehicle upright.

"Calm down human, in a half mile using Earth measurement, there will be a clear road for two miles." Said Fitz checking the charge on his weapon.

A few hundred feet behind John the male wolf was doing a show. He received an order on his com unit.

"The next time you're fired on, act like your vehicle got hit. These orders come from high above." Said his commanding officer.

"Understand sir, I think they're going to fire at me again at the straight part of the road at the North of the river sir." Said the wolf.

"Ok, make it look like you got hit." Said his commanding officer.

Fitz breathed as the vehicle started to go straight. The feline grinned and drew a bead at the vehicle behind them. He squeezed the trigger seeing the bolt strike near the mono wheel, but the vehicle started wobbling and it went on its side., "Yeah, got him, go to the meeting place John."

The human relaxed and changed his course feeling his feline giving him a pat on the back. John looked back seeing a dust cloud at where the mono wheel crashed.

At the tipped vehicle, the male wolf climbed out and stood up. He looked at the mono wheel growing distant., " Command, I just crashed they are heading west."

" Understand, stay put, we are sending somebody to your location. Good job, we just want to put on a show so they will start making mistakes." Said the voice in his com unit.

At the shuttle landing site.

John looked around finding the shuttle missing again. He turned to the ocelot standing next to him put his hands up the air., "What is going on with our shuttle, this is the second time it took off without us."

Fitz shrugged and replied., " I can't help it keeps getting called off to do something else. Just got a message that they'll be back in two hours. Let's scatter and meet back here in two hours."

The human sighs., "Alright, I'll see you here in two hours my friend. Just don't get caught, you're one of the few people I count as a friend."

The feline grins showing sharp feline teeth making human cringe. He gives the human a salute and walks off in one direction.

John watches as Fitz walks away and he turns in a direction as starts walking. He felt an arm go around his neck and the familiar softness of large breasts with the scent of canine. The human grins., "Hello Eliza, it's been a month since I seen you." John felt a smooth tongue lick his right ear and Eliza hugs him from behind.

She rests her muzzle on his right shoulder and gently hugs the human hard feeling his body making sure her abdominal area doesn't touch him. The wolfess is wearing a wrap around her abdominal area and wants to surprise the human with her extra assets., "So doing another job John?" The wolfess asks feeling his head nod., "How long do you have for a date?"

"I have one hour and forty five minutes this time." Answered the human relaxing in the wolfess embrace. He really did like the feel of her body and hope that he ends up in bed with her.

Eliza smelled the urge to mate from John and cursed Khan for the way the wolf treated his crew. She turned him around so that he's looking at her., "Ok, I still owe you for saving me from Al." The wolfess hugs the human and gave him a kiss feeling the human hugging her back returning her kiss.

He's released from her seeing the wolf looking at him with her teal colored eyes. The human saw the wolfess unbuttoning her shirt showing large gray furred breasts with pink colored nipples poking thru the fur. John felt his hands get grabbed and ended up rubbing Elizas' breasts.

"Maybe someday, we'll mate somewhere when you have more than two hours. Trust me; I prefer a long time in bed before I am satisfied." She said grabbing his hand after buttoning up her shirt.

John decided that tonight, he's going to find a hiding place with some rags with lube and masturbate think of the wolfess naked., "I need to do something soon or I am going to go nuts." He thought to himself being lead by her on a date.

The human talked to the wolfess of what he been thru. He ended up telling her everything what happen to him since he was taken off Earth. John started his story of what happen on Earth and what he witnessed of his last night on Earth.

Eliza listened and knew what happen to the Earth plus the weapons used on the humans. She has been to the planet a few times since the rodent alliance gotten the galaxy senate permission to take the planet., "Soon, I'll have enough groups to reverse that situation Earth is under." The wolfess thought to herself holding the humans' hand. But Eliza is going to wait first till that orbital ring around Earth is finished along with the space elevators. She is a patient pirate queen, but now is the time to get rid of a thorn in her side. Khan is greedy taking everything during a raid only giving his crew just scraps instead of their rightful cut. The wolfess takes what she needs giving her crew their fair share of the plunder. Eliza relaxed pushing that thought out of her mind and talked back to John., "Who ever took the planet Earth could have been any group. Control room of the Botany Bay.

"Captain, she's slowing down, I think going in the rings has spooked her." Said the coyote at the scanners.

"Alright, full power to the forward shields, we can lower the strength to the dorsal shields.
