Vulpes Maxmus or just another foxes in space story By Raven Fox: Earth gets taken over by Morpths. A human male tries to stow away on a cargo transport and gets caught by the ships’ chief engineer.

Hours after the capture of the F-22 of the west coast, Paine Field Everett Washington.

The large cargo ship just landed on one of the runways at the airport. Inside, the vixen looked out the bridge windows taking in the airfield looking at the different small aircraft parked near by., “Number one, send out the troops and post guards at all entrances, last thing I need is some humans sneaking on board.” Shannon said to the vixen standing next to her with the black colored pelt.

“Yes captain.” Said Sandra and she turned relaying orders to the crew. She grinned to herself as she walked to the cargo bay to check to see if the captains’ orders are being obeyed. The real reason the vixen wanted to go to the cargo bay is to check out the aircraft they captured hours ago. When Sandra walked in the cargo bay, foxes and different canines are running out of the cargo bay. She breathed a sigh of relief that there were no pit bull canines. The crew members on this ship hated that breed of morphs. Grinning, the vixen walked to the fighter tied to the deck. Sandra gazed at it taking in its construction looking at the color that is the same as this ship., “Nice looking aircraft, plus the pilot is nice looking to. Can’t wait till I get off my shift.” She thought to herself watching as the troops spread out in different directions. The vixen took one last look at the fighter and walked to the door seeing a copper colored vixen wearing a leather jacket walking to her.

“Major, I have those reports you wanted.” Kaylee said handing over a tablet.

Sandra opened some files reading them and sent them to her personal device. She looked at the chief engineer doing a mental sigh of how her head hair is plus her shirt.

Kaylees’ head hair is medium to dark brown with blue streaks in it and it’s longer than regulation length going to the middle of her back. Plus the ends are a light brown up three inches. Then there’s the white T-shirt she wears, it’s ripped horizontally giving anybody a view of her cleavage at some areas.

The black colored vixen handed back the pad., “Keep me up to date on the repairs on that manifold. If you half to shut down another system, let me know first before so I can let the captain know.” Sandra said knowing that Kaylee can get away for walking naked down the ships’ passageways because of her parents and awards she earned on her last ship., “How can a perfectly performing officer dress like that. She’s the best engineer in fleet, but her wardrobe will make a human male make moves on her.” She thought to herself watching the rebellious vixen walk up to the aircraft checking it. Sandra watched as Kaylee shine a light beam up the exhaust ports looking at vectored thrust mechanism. “She wanted to look at that aircraft, instead of sending me those reports electronically, typical.” The vixen thought to herself walking back to the bridge.

Outside the cargo ship, fifty yards away.

Scott watched the ship from the wreck of a Cesena 172. The human male is lying in the fuselage with one of the seats covering most of his body., “Ok, just wait a little longer and I’ll get on board to cause some damage.” He thought to himself watching the figures running in different directions.

It was ten minutes later that the human decided to board the cargo ship. Scott wasn’t a fighter; he is a mechanic who liked fixing stuff. He carefully got out of the wrecked aircraft and crawled on his belly to the ship sitting on the runway. The only hard part the human saw is the thirty feet of being exposed on the runway. Scott waited in the tall grass for another ten minutes before he crawled exposed on the runway. He elected to sneak up the ramp seeing no one. The human noted that there were no guards at the ramp. Carefully, Scott shimmied on the edge of the ramp., “What the fuck is an F-22 doing on this ship!?” His mind screamed as he elected to use the aircraft as cover. But is not meant to be, the human has been spotted and his attacker is waiting for the right moment to strike.

Kaylee is sitting in the cockpit of the fighter looking at the controls she regarded as primitive. The vixen had a few systems up and running looking at the LCD screens checking the different readings when she saw something at the corner of her eye. She saw a human sneak on to the ship and under the fighter. Kaylee turned off the systems on the fighter and quietly got out of the cockpit and laid on the left wing inching herself to look over the leading edge., “Think you can sneak on my ship human? I don’t think so.” The vixen thought to herself seeing him crawling on the floor close to the wall on his belly. She was astounded at the audacity of the human to sneak on her ship.

Scott crawled on his belly thanking who ever built this ship made the deck easy to slide on. The human went under the F-22 taking a moment to look the aircraft over. He was glad that it was parked close to a bulkhead giving him cover and he used the tie downs to help him slide to the wall. Scott stopped his movement looking around to see if anyone decided to come back on board. The human made one error, if he looked up when he was under the left wing; he would of saw dark brown hair with blue streaks. But he thought there was no one in the aircraft, because the vixen in the cockpit ducked when he looked in that direction. When Scott was clear of the F-22, he felt a force lift his body up and is turned around., “Whoa!’ who are you?” The human said looking at the large fox standing on her hind legs.

Kaylee looked at the human in front of her. She knew that the human in front of her is male because she saw the human who flew the aircraft she was looking at., “So, you think you can sneak on this ship human.” The vixen said looking the human over. Kaylee saw a lean human with a skinny build who must have weighed 150 pounds soaking wet. She noted that she didn’t half to push her telekinesis really hard to catch this stowaway.

The human examined the large fox before him. He thought that she’s really cute in appearance. Scott noted by her stature, she’s stands taller than his five foot height. The vixen has more of build than him because everyone called him scrawny. He noted the medium brown human type hair on top of her head with the fox ears sticking out on top of her head. Scott examined her dark blue eyes with cat like pupils seeing the glint of intelligence., “So, what are you going to do with me Ms. Fox?”

“I haven’t decided yet human, after all, you tried to sneak on this ship. What did you hope to accomplish?” The vixen asked the human noting how dirty his clothes are. She saw that he has some accessories on his belt and a type of pack on the floor next to him. Kaylee kept the restraining field on him while she picked up the pack on the floor. The vixen opened it seeing a change of clothes and something that looked like a book. She opened it seeing a device that looks like her pad. Kaylee pushed on the bottom seeing a picture of a vixen morph like her., “Looks like the captain of this ship human. What is this device?”

“It’s an apple I pad; you push that button again to unlock it. You push that button twice to open it. It’s my portable computer, I can read e-mails on go on the net. Thanks to you guys, the internet is down. I had it turned off yesterday, that’s why it’s still working. My cell phone is still screwed up, did you guys used an EMP on us?” Scott asked her.

She looked at a few things on the device pushed a button on the top locking the device and closed the cover. Kaylee patted the human down taking out another device that looked like the larger one. The vixen noted that there’s thick plastic wrapped around the device. She pushed buttons on it getting no response from it. Kaylee pocket the device in one of the pouches she has on the belt of her pants.

“Hey!, that’s an I phone 6 plus with 128 gig of capacity.” The human said to the vixen.

Kaylee looked at the human seeing something like torque on his neck. “Are you mated human?”

Scott looked at her., “No, I am single, plus I am forty years old and I am too old to mate now. That is a Bluetooth device for my cell phone.” He said touching the device on his neck.

She took a closer look at the human doing another look at him. The vixen holds his chin., “My name is Kaylee human, I am thirty years old and I don’t have a mate. There are not many males on my world and there are only five on this ship counting you out of a crew of three hundred. So a crew member is going to fall in love with you human and you’re looking good to me. As for your I phone, I can fix it by making it reboot, it’s not fried.”

“My name is Scott; I am a member of a group who likes anthropomorphic beings. I am what they call a vixen lover and I think you’re a babe and cute.” He said to Kaylee seeing her look at him in a different way.

The vixen picks up the back pack after closing it and loosens her hold on the human putting him on the deck. She kept a field on his arms keeping them pinned to his sides., “I did catch you sneaking on the ship, still half to keep your arms immobile. Sorry I half to take you to the captain.” Kaylee said to Scott taking out a com Unit., “Captain, this is Kaylee I caught a human male trying to sneak on the ship by using the rear ramp; I am bringing him to the bridge.”

“Ok, I am going to have a talk with the member of the guards who were guarding the rear ramp. Bring our uninvited guest to the bridge so I can have a talk with him.” Said Shannon from the device.

A few minutes later, the bridge.

Kaylee saw Shannon yelling to a male wolf., “Have a talk with your guards! My chief engineer just caught a human male sneaking on to this ship! I can’t believe that a lone human snuck pass your guards and my head mechanic caught him! Now leave before I have you put on guard duty!”

The male wolf walked pass the couple, he looked at the human drawing back his fist to deliver a punch to the human. He didn’t get the chance to deliver the blow, he ended up grabbing his crouch yelping.

“Don’t think about it, this is a ship of the vulpine species. We don’t abuse prisoners, if you want to abuse POWs, you should have asked to be assigned to a pit bull ship. Now get out of here before I use my talents to neuter you.” Said Kaylee glaring at the retreating lupine. She walked her prisoner to the vixen stewing.

The vixen directed her green colored cat like eyes to the human and her chief engineer. Shannon relaxed sighing looking at Kaylee shaking her head at the chief engineers’ attire., “So Cheng, (Navy slang for chief engineer on a ship.) I see you caught us a stowaway.” She said in a business like tone. The captain looked the short human over noting the one caught earlier today is taller., “So human, may I ask why you decided to come on my ship?”

The human calmed himself because his mind is reeling. His mind screamed., “How did the vixen that caught me injured that wolf without touching him.” Scott looked at the vixen with her blonde colored head hair done in a bun., “You see maam, your people knocked out our electronics yesterday and last night, they destroyed my apartment building. I almost had gotten killed by that, so I decided to see if I can take something of value to make us even. This human wants restitution for the apartment building that fell on him. It took me three hours to get out of that building maam.”

A human male voice replied behind him., “What branch did you serve?”

Scott turned seeing another human male taller than him with black hair trimmed. He knew that this guy is an officer of another military branch., “United States Navy, I am ENC retired two years ago sir.” The human told him his name.

Will smiled at the shorter human standing next to him. He knew that this retired Chief Petty officer is still in good shape, not being fat as other CPOs he saw. For a few seconds, the formal Air Force pilot thought that this guy was either Army or a Marine by his build., “Chief, I know your retired, stand down and don’t cause any more trouble, that’s an order chief.”

The older human shook himself as if a switch was thrown in his mind. He went to attention., “Yes sir, I won’t cause any more trouble on this ship sir. May I ask, are you the pilot of that F-22 Raptor sir?”

“Yes chief, I am Captain Will of the United States Air force. My aircraft was captured earlier today when I intercepted this ship; they shut my Raptor off like throwing a switch. This ship was orbiting our moon last night, so it had nothing to do with the attack to your apartment. So stand down, take orders from Shannon, or from me understand chief.” The formal pilot ordered the retired chief petty officer.

“Yes sir, I won’t cause any more troubles on this ship sir.” Scott said to Will.

Will turn to Shannon., “Maam, you won’t have anymore troubles with him. If you want, I’ll take him aside and give him a lecture.”

The vixen looked at the human taking note that he’s older than the pilot. She studied him seeing that he’s skinnier and smaller in build than the human they caught this morning., “Will, I can see that he’s older than you, why is he shorter and smaller?”

The pilot saw the retired chief blushing red., “Maam, human males come in different sizes. I am tall and muscular, he is shorter and skinnier. Guys like him are as strong as me, but I would not pick a fight with him. If that wolf struck him, I would bet that wolf would be injured maam.”

“Ok, I’ll take your word Will.” She turned to Scott gazing at him., “I am sorry about your dwelling, we had nothing to do with that. We have other types of morphs we‘re working with, trust me, you don’t want to meet them.” The vixen turns to the younger human., “What does an ENC do Will?”

Scott answered for Will replying., “Maam, I worked on diesel engines and different pieces of equipment.”

Shannon placed a black finger on her muzzle., “So, what am I going to do with you ENC?”

“I’ll take him captain; I have no ill will against him.” Kaylee said to Shannon taking Scotts’ hand. The vixen turned her head to the human with a grin., “Come, I’ll take you to my workspace.” She said to him gazing at him with her dark blue eyes.

Minutes later, engine room of the cargo ship.

In his twenty years in the Navy, Scott has been in a total of ten different engineering spaces. The one he’s looking at makes those engineering spaces look like a old steam powered ship with a triple expansion engine., “Well, what in the hell am I looking at right now?” The human said to himself looking at the space.

Kaylee chuckled seeing the lost look at Scotts’ face. The vixen placed a hand on the humans’ shoulder., “It looks overwhelming at first, but it’s really an easy plant to work on. Come, I’ll show you around here.”

He relaxed, and then followed her in to the space. The human saw a group of vixens working at an assembly mounted on the bulkhead. Scott examined the area around him taking it in. He noted that the space is not overwhelmingly hot like a few diesel plants he worked on. The human listened to the vixens telling Kaylee the progress of the repairs they’re doing. Scott is then lead to another part of engineering entering another area that looks like a control room. He saw a panel that took a good part of a wall showing a diagram of the plant.

“This shows the layout of the engineering place Scott. When here, you can see every component of the plant. As you can see here, that’s the manifold that distributes the flow of plasma to the engines, note that section is in red due to it being shut down. I was told that the repairs will be done in a couple of hours. So I am going to send a message to the XO, you seen her, she’s that black colored vixen you saw on the bridge. Sandra is a good XO, everyone likes her, but you don’t want to piss her off.” Kaylee said typing on a device that looks like his I pad that the vixen has.

“Yeah, from what I saw, you’re someone you don’t get pissed off to Kaylee. How did you injure that wolf without touching him? Do you have that talent of telekinesis?” The human thought to himself looking at the panel showing the engine plant. He walked a few steps looking over the shoulder of a vixen at a display showing a schematic of a component that is shaped like a barrel being the color of green. Scott saw numbers being green in color., “Ok, I think that’s a type of reactor. That manifold is secured and is outline in red which means out of parameter readings. Green means normal meaning what ever powers this ship is on is operating normally.” He is thinking to himself feeling a hand clap on his shoulder. The human looks seeing the vixen chief engineer looking at him.

“Don’t distract her; Mariska is controlling the warp core. The computer system does most of the work, but I prefer a warm blooded being at the controls watching it.” The vixen said leading him out of the room.

With every moment he’s exposed to her, Scott is thinking higher of Kaylee. In his opinion, she would make a real good chief engineer on a Navy ship., “She’s much better looking than some of the engineers I knew in the Navy. Like to see her in khaki uniform (Tan colored uniform worn by E7-E9 enlisted and all officer ranks in the United States Navy.)” The human thought to himself following the vixen.

A few hours later, night time, Kaylees’ cabin.

Scott looked the space over seeing that it’s the same size as an at sea cabin on a ship. He saw the rack against the bulkhead with the small metal desk with a glass pane standing on in. the human watches the vixen place her pad on a stand and watches as the glass turns on showing a bunch of words appearing. Scot watches Kaylee touch her fingers on the desk surface on a keyboard that materialized. He watches as she drags a finger on section of desk showing a square with two smaller squares above the larger one., “Just like a home computer.” The human thought to himself.

A minute later, the vixen closes the files she’s reading and sent the files to an envelope marked Major., “Who’s Major?” Asked the human.

She turns to him., “That’s Sandra, the XO, every night; I got to send a report to her of what’s happening in the engine plant. I would say right now she’s reading the reports from other sections of the ship. I am usually the second section she reads after weapons.”

Scott looks at the screen, a minute later; an envelope appeared with a male voice saying “You got mail.” Making the human chuckle. He watches as she read a message and she stood up removing her leather jacket and looked at him. Scotts’ eyes widen when he saw Kaylee looking at him.

The vixen isn’t wearing a bra under the ripped T-shirt showing one inch diameter areolas with pencil eraser sized nipples poking thru the material. She then removed the T-shirt exposing her firm medium size breasts., “Ah, this is much better.” Kaylee said and looked at him., “Chill, ENC, I always walk around my cabin without clothing. He’s just looking at her in a shock look on his face. The human looks around the cabin seeing that there is only one rack in this cabin. Next day, engineering plant.

Scott is working with a group of vixens learning to do basic repairs on the plant. He loves the work he’s doing right now. The human did thought that the tools used would be weird looking like in episodes of Star Trek, but they looked like tools he used in his twenty years in the Navy. When Scott made Chief Petty Officer, he still got his hands dirty teaching new firemen how to do repairs. (Firemen, engineering enlisted rank E-1 to E-3.)

One of the vixens working with him replied., “Here’s how we do this repair.” She mutters., “I can’t wait till we go thru the yard period. So much of this equipment needs to be overhauled. Another ship of this class was slated to do this mission, but it suffered a serious problem with its engineering plant and it’s still in the repair yard getting fixed.” Karen said and looked at the human next to her., “Dam Cheng is lucky, I like to spend a night with him.” The vixen thought to herself thinking to ask the engineering officer for a big favor.

The human continued his work on the valve listening to the vixens’ instructions. He felt her looking at him in a way that the chief engineer did at him yesterday. Scott did love the night he spent with Kaylee. The human is still a little tired from last nights’ extra activities.

Minutes later, the repairs are done and they went to the control room that has the large screen. He sat at a chair still talking to the vixens he worked with. One of the other vixens’ asked., “I noticed that you’re older than us, but how come you have no problems in taking orders from us?”

He shrugged looking at her; the vixens’ light brown head hair is trimmed at shoulder length as regulation. Scott knew about Kaylee bending the rules answered., “At some assignments, when I first became Chief Petty Officer. I was thirty four and I was taking orders from human females as young as twenty two. So taking orders from you gals doesn’t offend me.”

Karen took it all in because she meets the other human male on this ship. She listen to his what is called sea stories when he first started working for her. The vixen is fairly a new officer comparing herself to what he would call a MPA. (Assistant to the Chief Engineer, Ensign or LT. Junior grade, O-1 or O-2.) Karen starting talking to Scott again and saw Kaylee walking in the space.

She walked in the space seeing her assistant talking to him. Kaylee did get a few reports stating that her engineers or snipes what Scott called this group are really happy with his help. The vixen did show the reports to the other human male who flew that pretty aircraft finding his input about the older human good.

“Means that he’s a mature individual, no many EN1s make chief. He adapted when things changed and still did good work. Scott must of not back talk; he would carefully give his idea or opinion if he didn’t like the one given to him.” Will said earlier to her when she had to give a report an hour ago.

“So my assistant, how are the repairs fairing?” The vixen asked the assistant.

“Repairs done commander, we’re just getting ready to check over the repairs we finished on that manifold yesterday. Personally, I can’t wait till we start that yard period; most of the machinery needs to be overhauled. Some of the equipment is being held together with spit and bailing wire.” Karen said to Kaylee making Scott chuckle.

Lt. Commander Kaylee or Major sighed to herself and looked at her group who are picking up some of Scotts’ slang’s. The vixen looked at the human who decided to be interested of the screen near him., “I’ll have a talk with him later.” She thought to herself bracing herself what she has to say to this group, but he isn’t going to like it. The other human named Will went in a sulk and Sandra walked him off the bridge. Kaylee looked over to Scott noticing that he’s looking at her and she sighed. “You’re not going to like this Scott, but I decided that I’ll deliver this news.”

Scott already knew that this news is not good by Kaylees’ body language. He noted her tail that’s usually up is dragging on the floor and he saw that her normal cheerful expression is slack.

“Sorry Scott, the last of the military on this planet was defeated a couple of hours ago. The last US Navy carrier group was sunk last night with the sinking of the Nimitz and its escort group. Plus the last Ballistic missile sub was sunk early this morning. The only F-22 left in the United States is in our cargo hold. Your planet has fallen into control of the canines, I am sorry Scott, as I said last night, my race was forced to help them.” Kaylee said to Scott seeing a glint in his eyes.

“You told me last night of how some of the canines push you gals around. Just make sure I don’t run into any of them again, one last thing, keep me away from the wolves or I might end up in your brig.” The human said in a venomous tone.

She chuckled and answered., “The wolves are just like us, but the real villains are the pit bulls. Don’t worry, stick with me and you won’t run into any of those canines.”

Cargo bay, the same moment.

The human stood next to the last F-22 looking at the different buildings and aircraft. He identified the aircraft he saw parked nearby, due to the endless drilling at the academy in aircraft identification., “I can’t believe it, Earth has fallen. What if I didn’t get captured, would I made a difference?” Will say a little loud.

A white furred hand rested on his right shoulder and a female voice replied., “No, you would have gotten captured or killed. One fighter would not have made a difference against the other canines.”

She had to make sure that nobody is going to hear what she is going to say to him., “I and Kaylee took a good look at your fighter and examined the weapons that are housed in the weapons bay. According to the chief engineer, none of the weapons you have on that fighter couldn’t damage a pit bull scout craft. All what you would of done was put a scratch on it. They deliberately crashed that craft and detonated a bomb it was carrying.”

Will is taken aback; it took him years before he was allowed to touch the controls of an F-22 Raptor., “It took me hours of reading before I knew every switch and lever in the cockpit.”

“I wonder what her mother and father is going to say when they find out that she’s in love with a human. She won’t tell Scott or anybody on this crew because she doesn’t want fights breaking out on this ship. Other than bending regulations, she will take orders from me.”

“No, from my chief engineer this morning.” Sandra said to Will and changed the subject., “I am telling you the truth, ignore any negative comments you might hear here about the red pandas from the wolves or the Mastiffs. The Mastiffs are friends of the pit bulls. I am the friend of a captain of a red panda ship. Adena is the most loyal friend you can ever have; we might run into her in a week to ten days. Hopefully by then, we’ll be orbiting this planet.” The vixen said to the human watching as a vixen and an older human male walked in the cargo bay.

Will chuckled at the sight of Scott seeing that the older guy has a relaxed look on him. The dirty clothes he was wearing yesterday has been replaced with a type of uniform being a red shirt and black pants.

Scott snapped a salute., “So, how was your night sir?”

The younger guy was mad for a second, but calmed down knowing that the retired Navy chief didn’t want to talk about what’s happening right now on Earth. He returned the salute replying., “Pretty good chief, I take it things are going ok for you?”

“Smooth as silk captain, a few more checks and minor adjustments. Then we can lift off and go into orbit this evening sir.” The CPO said to the Air Force captain.

Will looked at the vixen wearing the leather jacket who is the chief engineer. He saw her holding a device touching her fingers on It., “I think Kaylee is typing a report to Sandra.” The younger human thought to himself. Scott felt a hand rubbed his ass for a second and stopped. The older human looked at the vixen do a grin seeing her go up to the XO.

The Air Force captain saw the chief engineer talk to the XO. He studied her seeing that she seems more relaxed than yesterday., “Must be that the ship is almost ready to go into orbit. I was thinking of flying the Space Shuttle, but they’re being retired, now I fly F-22s’. Now there is only one.” Will heard a whistling tune because he said his last sentence a little loud. The melody seems familiar and it hit him, a roommate had an old device called a VCR and he saw a 1980s’ movie called Highlander. The Air Force captain turned to the Chief Petty Officer who is whistling the Queens song Princes of the universe., “I guess you were an eighties kid?”

Will decided to close the subject; Scott had a counter slang for everyone he dished at him. He had a deep respect for the Chief Petty officer who had his rank reinstated by the ships’ captain this morning because the ships’ chief engineer requested it. The rank he’s holding is just called chief by these vulpine people. Will decided to call them people because of what he and Sandra did last night. Scott sat down at an extra chair watching Kaylee at the desk typing up her daily report to the XO Sandra. He remembered giving reports to an Ensign or Lt Junior grade or a Lieutenant and they gave reports to the XO. The human did like officers while serving in the Navy. There were some that Scott thought they were good officers, but there were a few rotten apples that didn’t last long who were forced to resign. He saw that a few times while going up in the ranks. Then she flies to my home world and I finally get a chance to talk to her.” Sandra said making a face as a young human male is put on the bidding., “I hope those dam female pit bulls don’t get him.” She said watching the bidding and saw who won the bidding., “I know her, she’s on that space carrier over there. Janelle is a good friend of Kaylee, see, they wear the same outfits.”

Engineering plant control room at the same moment.

He noted that they were a few digits before the core will show amber. When the ship was in hyper space, a few parts of the plant turned amber indicating that those parts of the plant were almost at the redline. “Just two more stops and we’re home, those pieces of machinery will be removed and rebuilt along with the rest of the plant.” The vixen said to him.

He sensed the vixen is worried as much as him.

“Action Stations!, Action Stations! Hostile ship nearby. Prepare to fire weapons.” The PA system blared.

Scott heard an impact on the ship and it shuddered. The human looked at the vixen seeing a look of horror on her. He looked at the screen she’s looking at seeing the outline of the core turning amber to red due to the temperature rising. Scott looked at Kaylee and ran into the engine space.

“Get back in here!” Yelled the vixen.

“I tried starting the emergency coolant pump and it’s not responding, I am going to try it at the pump!” The human yelled to the vixen and exited the control room. Scott opened the door to the engine plant feeling heat assault him due to the overheating core. He saw a few crewmembers unconscious in the space. The human saw Kate lying on the floor bleeding from a cut on her scalp. Scott sprayed a medical sealant at the cut and gave her a kiss on the muzzle., “See you later my love.”

Kate saw Scott looking at her with a grin on his strange looking face. She saw him walking to the core that’s starting to emit a white gas., “Kalyee! Eject the core or Scott will be killed!” The wolf shouted in her com unit.

A strange sounding alarm sounded with a mechanical voice blaring., “WARNING CORE OVERHEATING…CORE EJECT SYSTEM MALUFUNTION….EVACUATE SHIP….FOUR MINUTES TILL CORE BREACH….”

Kaylee tried every trick in the book to eject the core. She knew that the ship can function without the core, but hyperspace will be out of the question. The vixen looked at the screen and saw the temperature starting to go down on the core.

“I got the emergency coolant pump operating, I am coming back in, see you in a second. Better get some people in here, we have a few injured.” Scotts’ voice said from her com unit.

She was about to reply when there was a loud bang in the engine space. Kaylee looked at the screen seeing that the core temperature is still going down, but the manifold that has been giving them problems failed again. The outline showed black instead of red meaning that the equipment has failed.

“Kaylee, get in here ASAP!” Yelled Kate from her com unit.

The vixen went in the engineering space seeing the strange lighting of the engineering space. When the manifold failed, it let out white gas that is like steam making the space look like a bunch of steam went inside the space., “Kate, where are you?”

“Wake up! Wake up! Scott! Don’t do this to me!” Screamed Kate holding something that looked like a human.

Sickbay.

Sandra decided to do a quick look at the sickbay while the captain thought of how they’re going to get out of this situation. “I am the head doctor of the ship parked near your ship. Your captain asked for my help in healing a badly burned human male.” Said the Sarian.

“Right here!” Kaylee said.

The Sarian walked to the bed and ran a scanner over the humans’ body and gasps., “Crimson, this is Ski; beam the human in front of me to sickbay.” She turns to Kaylee., “I got to stick him in a bacca tank and put him in a drug induced coma or he will die. Excuse me; I got a lot of work to do to save his life.” The Sarian and the human vanished in a column of light.

Sarian ship sickbay, an hour later.

“It will take seven days for the skin to heal. He had to be put in a coma because his heart started to race and he was going into shock. Right now his vitals are stabilized and I can start doing the treatments on him. It’s going to take two weeks before he will be completely healed.” Ski said to the vixens.

Shannon looked at the human shaped form in the foggy light green liquid floating with something that looked like a diver’s mouth piece in his mouth. The vixen saw Kaylee, Karen and Kate looking at the tank. She noted the alive look that her chief engineer had is gone. Shannon noted the blood smears on her T-shirt., “I am sorry Cheng, I wasn’t going to give him up to those dam monsters.”

Kaylee nodded looking at her mate., “I am glad he’s going to be alright, I would have done the same thing to Skipper. As for our ship, we’re dead in the water, unless you have a XG4605 plasma manifold stashed somewhere on the ship. I can’t fix the ours from bursting, it’s FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Repair), its only good for scrap.”

The captain noted a few Earth slang’s her chief engineer used. She wasn’t going to press Kaylee in trying to fix manifold. This slightly crazy vixen is one of the best engineers in the fleet. If she says it can’t be fixed, it can’t, so the only thing to do is call for a tow to the home world.

“Captain, this is Sandra, a pit bull ship intimidated one of our space carriers. The pit bull ship was destroyed by a red panda ship…wait.. It was Adenas’ ship who destroyed that pit bull ship. I got our government personal on our com circuit; they wish to speak with you.” Said her XO from a com unit.

The vixen turned to Kaylee and sighed., “I am sorry my friend, I need you to tell them what’s broke on the ship so they can send parts or we get towed home.”

Kaylee stood up and grinned., “Sure, but we need to be towed to a space dock so I can repair the ship. But some of the equipment needs replacement and rebuilding. I can fix the ship if I had the parts, but we better fly it straight to the home world to a ship yard or it will get to the point that I can’t fix it.”

Shannon nodded and said thanks to Ski with Kaylee following her. She looked back seeing the engineer stopped taking one last look of the tank with the human floating in it. The captain didn’t say anything as they walked to the transporter room to go back to their ship.

Five days later, space dock orbiting Sarian home world.

Sandra looked at the large green colored gas giant planet. She saw a couple of the continents floating in the atmosphere of this planet. The vixen saw a couple of the ships’ scientists looking at the mediocre science equipment on the ship.

“I can’t wait till Adena gets here with her ship. That ship has much better equipment for looking at a planet like this.” Said one of the three male foxes on the crew.

“She won’t be here for another eight days. The incident with her ship destroying that pit bull ship is causing some troubles at the home world. Plus the main reason for the delay is the yards half to make a new manifold for this ship and gather the parts we need for repairs to get this ship moving.” Said Shannon walking on the bridge. She looks at her XO doing a look around the bridge not seeing the engineer., “She’s on the Sarian ship?”

“She spends her extra time keeping an eye on him. They’ll be taking him out in a couple of days and they half to do some reconstructive surgery at a couple areas.” Sandra said to Shannon remembering seeing Scott in Kaylees’ arms badly burned. She still has nightmares of that sight. One side effect of that incident is that the trio of Kaylee, Karen and Kate has been quiet and the loud banter during the mess hours has been nonexistent. Her mate Will has been quiet during his bridge watch because he’s usually talkative but he has also been quiet., “I can’t wait till he recovers and things get back to normal. This ship has been to quiet in the last few days.” The vixen said accidentally to loud.

“You and me both love, I miss arguing with him and the mess decks are to quiet. Kaylee, Karen and Kate just sulk and silently eat their food.” Said Will looking at the planet as the space dock orbited it.

Days later, the bridge of the vulpine cargo ship.

“Man, I am so glad that you’re here my friend.” Said Shannon giving Adena a hug.

The red panda nodded taking note that Sandra is just staring at out the bridge window looking at the planet., “What’s going on here? Everyone is normally in a good mood on this ship. Plus where’s Kaylee, she’s normally is here to talk to me.” She asked her friends.

The captain talked to her friend explaining what happen of the engineer capturing the human and her mating with him. Shannon told of the attack on her vessel and Scott saving it getting badly burned., “Since that day, morale at engineering has dropped because of what happen to him. As for Kaylee, she’s on that Sarian ship keeping an eye on him.”

Sickbay of Sarian ship later.

“There you are Kaylee, how’s he doing?” Asked the red panda walking up to the vixen sitting near the bed. Adena saw that her friend has looked like she hasn’t slept in days. She saw a human male with a mask on his face with his eyes closed., “He looks like Sean, but the fur on top of his head is shorter. But Sandra told me he was badly burned on the day I had to shot that pit bull ship in self defense. From the looks of him now, these Sarians are a little more advanced then my people because we use bacca tanks for bad injuries, but our ships don’t have that device that makes them invisible. Sean calls them cloaking devices from a TV show he watches.”

The vixen stands up and hugs her best friend., “How are you doing Adena? Sorry for not being on the ship to meet you. You know by now what happen in engineering; he saved us a trip in the escape pods. I think those bastards would have shot the escape pods. But I heard you took out one of their cruisers. Did those fiends ever explain why two of their captains decided to start bullying us like they did long ago?”

“Sorry, dead men tell no tales. My mate Sean has a good theory, but I don’t know what’s going on with them. They half to put the humans back on Earth, I am here to ask some humans if they want to return to Earth. Sean elected to stay with me and Will elected to stay on this ship. So I wonder what his answer is going to be?” The red panda asked looking at the unconscious human on the bed.

“I am staying with the two vixens and the wolfess. Cough… Sweet hart, I, need something to drink, my mouth feels like I’ve been asleep for days. Is Kate ok, she’s bleeding in the engine room; I think that dam manifold went out again. Sorry, I think our ship isn‘t hauling anything for a while” Said Scott in a week voice taking the mask off himself.

Kaylee hugs Scott and gives him a kiss., “Welcome back my mate, you were out for two weeks. Take it easy, I’ll get the doctor, one thing, the beings on this ship are reptilian, so don’t scream and go into shock when the doctor shows up. She spent hours putting you back together.” She gets up and starts to walk, then turns to her friend., “Bring him up to date Adena, I’ll get the doctor.”

Adena looked at the human male that looks like Sean, but this human is shorter and leaner than her human mate., “So, according to my vixen friends Shannon and Sandra, you’re retired Navy. I have a feeling that you’re going to get upset at me when you find out what’s on my ship. My ship is carrying the stuff to repair the ship you been on.”

Scott looked the red panda over finding her cute., “Well maam, I am not mad at you for bringing parts to fix the ship I am on. I would like to add you to my list of friends’ maam.”

“Sorry, he’s going to be on light duty for another week.” Said a copper colored Sarian female walking up. Ski looked at Scott running a scanner up and down his body looking at the readout., “Well, I am glad you’re recovering Scott, but I got to keep you here for a couple more days for observation.” She looks at the vixen and breathes out., “You, I want you to get a full nights sleep. He’s recovered; you can see him tomorrow after your shift. I am asking for you to get a full nights sleep, I don’t want to talk to your captain.” The Sarian saw the red panda whisper to the vixen and saw her nodding.

When Kaylee walk by the Sarian, she said., “Thank you for taking care of him and everything else.”

The red panda stopped saying., “I told her, that I’ll bring either Karen or Kate over to watch him. By the way, thanks for everything.”

“Your welcome, please make sure that she gets a full nights sleep, she spent every free minute of her time watching him. That vixen is exhausted and needs to sleep.” Said Ski to the red panda.

“I’ll make sure that she gets a full nights sleep.” Replied Adena walking out of the sick bay.

Ski looks at the human looking at her. She knows that she’ll half to explain what’s going on at the current time and he had to get up to date., “So Scott, I am glad that you’re awake. We’re going to take this slow, I am a Sarian, you’re on one of our ships due to your captain gave me permission to save your life. You were put in a drug induced coma so I can repair your body, your skin was the worst and it’s back to its condition before your injuries.” Then she explains about her people and the rescue of the vulpine transport ship.

Minutes later, the door to sickbay open and Kate walked in giving him a hug. The female wolf sat down and watches as Ski talked to her mate. She stayed quiet as the Sarian talked for another few minutes.

“Don’t exert him, he’s still weak. I’ll get him something to drink and in the morning we’ll get his system use to food again.” The Sarian replied getting something for Scott to drink.

“So, I’ve been badly burned, sorry, all what I remember is walking back to the control room. Then I wake up here, bring me up to date babe.” The human said to the wolf.

She told him that she saw him walking back to her talking on his com unit. Then the manifold exploded burning the human real bad., “Then Kaylee rushed in the space seeing me holding you. She used her talents and carried you to sickbay. Then the Sarians showed up rescuing us from that pit bull ship. They offered the services of their doctor to heal you. Scott you were in very bad shape, I think you would be in a bad way without the Sarians help.” The wolf said to the human watching Ski returning giving him a container of liquid for him to drink.

“Drink this real slow; it will help you adjust to eating again. You didn’t have any food in your stomach for two weeks.” She said to Scott.

“Thank you maam for everything.” He said taking a drink of the liquid that tasted like a chocolate milkshake. The human saw the Sarian walk to a different section of sickbay., “Did I get burned down there?” Scott asked seeing Kate nodding making him sigh. With reluctance, he pulled the cover up and pulled aside the garment to look there., “Dam, what happened, it’s bigger and wider than before.”

“It was badly burned; your organ had to be reconstructed. Kaylee had to describe to the doctor what you had down there.” Kate said to the human.

He relaxed shaking his head. Scott does love the three females he’s living with. The human will never go back to the way he was living. He was lonely and was thinking about getting back in the Navy, but it would have meant going in as a First Class Petty officer. But fate had other plans in the form of canines taking over the Earth., “I need to have someone in bed with me.” The human said feeling Kate getting in bed with him naked. Scott turned over looking the wolfess. He relaxed feeling her giving him the full hug he enjoys., “I need something else.”

Kate chuckles placing his hands on her large breasts., “Sorry, I don’t want to exert you. Kaylee made it clear that she’s going to test drive your rebuilt organ. He relaxed in the extra large bed with the three female canines. The much needed yard period the ship is going thru is going fine. Scott remember how a Sarian ship used its’ heavy cargo transporter to place Wills’ F-22 on a taxiway near a museum. He looked at the dark blue cat like eyes gazing at him., “So, what are we going to do this weekend?”

“Road trip, there’s a few places I like to show you.” Said Kaylee touching Scotts’ hair that’s growing back.

Scott sighed hugging the vixen feeling her slim furry body on his., “I like that, so lets’ the four of us go on a road trip, I haven’t been on one in a while.”

“Oh, you will love my personal vehicle, but that’s a surprise that will half to wait till tomorrow morning.” The vixen chuckled thinking of the 1969 Dodge Charger in storage. She had acquired the Earth car a couple of years ago when she and a couple of friends went to a furry convention at California. The groups of vixen loving human males are living with her friends and some how the Charger ended on the ship she was serving on three years ago., “It also has a hemi.” Kaylee thought to herself going to sleep.

“You and your surprises babe.” Scott said going to sleep holding the vixen. Tomorrow it will be Karen, a day later, Kate. He didn’t mind it, he rather enjoy his new life. On Earth, the human had no one because his parents were killed by a drunk driver when he was in the Persian Gulf. Scott was the only child and he didn’t have anything holding him on Earth. That is why he said that he’s staying with Kaylee, Karen and Kate. The human relaxed and fell asleep.
