It's been awhile, but I finally got around to posting chapter two of the continuation of the story of Jason Campbell and JD, a prominent Human/Burb-Dog m/m couple who have featured in a variety of series I've posted here and on FA (unfortunately the vast majority of their stories still aren't available here on SF, pending restoration by the admin).

If you want to see more of this story be sure to fav and/or comment; I have enough projects going right now that I'll be focusing on those which garner the most attention. As always, thanks for reading!

Between me and Jason, it's always been my Human who's done all the 'nesting'. He's the homemaker... they guy who knows what a place is supposed to feel like for it to be cozy and comfy and... well... HOME. Of course, that doesn't count our entertainment center; I handle the TV, stereo, ya know, all that shit... and he trusts me to do it! Anyway, for everything else, the decisions about what to buy for the house like furniture or decorations have always been his deal. You'd be right if I wasn't surprised when, one day, he came home with a new ironing board.

It was awhile after Sully came to live with us, and the little university preppy pup apparently had a thing about wanting to make sure his clothes were smoothed or pressed or steamed, or whatever the fuck an iron is supposed to do. Jason, being the wonderful guy he was, offered to get a new ironing board since our other one was jacked all up-- I hadn't really noticed since, as you can imagine, I don't do ironing. I mean, I'll do laundry when I have to, but ironing seems like a complete waste of time. Still, it's something Jason has always seemed to enjoy doing so more power to him, I guess.

Anyway, Sully was into his first week of classes, which meant we finally had the place to ourselves during the day-- kinda sucked that the two of us were on different schedules at the station due to a taping delay and an expansion project, but I still planned on making it work because Jason is worth it, god damn it, and I wanted some QT with my cutie. We'd made plans that morning to have the afternoon together since Sully wasn't due back til six. And, before you say anything, yes: I made sure it was six.

The day at work was mostly spent doing the usual security shit, which isn't doo hard since the studio is good about making sure that only the right kind of people are in the audience for recording. It makes sense if you think about it; one dip shit making a scene can ruin an entire segment of taping. Still, they always want security on hand just in case, and it helps when security includes a half dozen big beefy Dogs who have no trouble helping out with manual labor... not that it's in the job description, but we're all loyal and we want to see the station do well, so it's no big deal if they need occasional help moving crap from one place to another.

Still, the problem with something like that means irregular hours, and I was pretty damn sure I didn't want to stay late that day. I let the shift supervisor know that Jason and I had an afternoon planned together and he's always been a cool guy, but that day was a cluster-fuck of everything that could go wrong going wrong. Long story short: I was there about a half an hour longer than expected digging a guy out from under a collapsed scaffolding. He ended up going to ER but that was more a worker's comp insurance issue than any real damage-- nah... only real damage was me losing a half hour of Jason time. Fucking traffic that day on the main streets didn't help either.

But I'm getting off topic: I knew that Jason planned on going out during the day but we'd both planned on getting home around the same time. Since I was late, Jason had already settled in and was in the process of setting up the ironing board; I'd never heard of an ironing board that didn't already come preassembled and I respectfully pointed that out. "What the fuck is that? They make you put it together yourself?"

He was, as usual, very casual about accepting my comments in stride. "It's a higher end ironing board. I figured I could use a good quality one and it'll be a nice thing for Sully to have available too."

I never much cared for 'higher end' stuff, especially when they didn't have the god damn courtesy to put it together for people spending so much money. "You got it at IKEA, didn't you? Fucking IKEA."

Jason laughed. "No, I didn't. I don't even know if IKEA makes ironing boards. I got this one at--"

The origin of the parts didn't really matter to me. "Did they at least sell you the tools you need to put it together?"

He rolled his eyes, stepping away from the ironing board to gesture at it. "Actually, it doesn't take anything special... it's really just a bunch of pegs and clips. Specially made for easy assembly, and it's supposed to be sturdier than traditional ones too."

I suppose I could have been impressed, but I couldn't get past the reasoning. "Sturdier? Why? In case someone needs to iron a 600 pound trench coat?"

Jason, in his never-ending tolerance for my bullshit just laughed, moving over so he could wrap his arms around me and stand up on his tip toes to offer me a kiss. Yes, it's his go-to move to shut me up when I'm going off on one of my rants. Yes, I also know it and yes, it still works; I like getting kissed by my Human, so suck it if you have a problem with how Jason deals with me. Eventually, once he let me go, he returned to the ironing board and continued fidgeting with it, completing what were probably the final steps to assembly. "Anyway, now we'll have a good ironing board for general use."

I walked up behind him and slid my arms around my favorite Human, giving him a hug. "An ironing board for you and Sully, anyway... I can't think of any good uses for one."

There was no need to see Jason's face to know he was smiling, especially when he started up with "I would--"

There was also no need to let him finish. Gripping him a little tighter, I ground my hips against his. "Never mind... I thought of one."

He chuckled, slamming his palms down on the ironing board as I used my weight advantage to bend him over. He fired right back. "I knew you had it in you."

I made no attempt to hide my growl of excitement; it had been way too long since our last chance to have some quality time together. "Gimme a minute, then you'll have it in YOU."

"Really? It'll take you a whole min--"

There are few things in this world that can quiet Jason like taking it without lube. It's not my normal method since the last thing I want to do is hurt my Human, but sometimes, when it's been too long and he's being TOO playful... well... it happens. He doesn't usually object-- in any meaningful way, at least, and unless I'm way off base Jason is almost always on board for a little roughness. That night was pretty damn rough too.

Over the years there's a few things I've learned that get Jason going. While I'm careful with my Human, some things he does really get me going too and that can make it hard-- well... they definitely make THAT hard too, but what I mean is it's difficult to control myself some times when I'm around him and, since things like crushing him, making him bleed, or squeezing him into unconsciousness are always concerns, I usually try to take it easy. That night was all about biting-- biting, and testing the structural integrity of what was probably a too-spendy ironing board.

I had Jason in a tight grip, bent over the recently finished stand with one paw on his hip and the other pressing down against the small of his back. It'd been awhile for both of us, and I'd only really just started when I felt my knot constantly kissed by his opening; it only became more wonderfully unbearable when he came and I felt his insides contract against my already stimulated shaft. I was able to already smell his spunk and that only drove me more wild. Hunching over him, I latched onto the back of his shirt with my teeth, grinding my hips against his... and that's when the ironing board decided that it couldn't take anymore.

The two of us went tumbling to the ground as the god damn thing gave way. I had just enough time to wrap my arms around him fully and take the majority of our impact by rolling us to the side, but we still landed with a really loud thump. Jason cried out in what was probably a mix of pleasure and pain as one of his shots went arcing up into the air from the force of the impact. That, and my knot getting shoved right in with the help of gravity. To be honest, I was so surprised that I yelped.

He noticed that right away. "Oh, god, JD-- are you alright?"

Once I realized that he didn't seem hurt, I was back to 'all business'. "No. I haven't cum yet, but thanks for asking."

I could almost HEAR him roll his eyes, but he was more than compliant, and he pushed right back into me; it was all the permission I needed to continue, and it was enough to help me finish. The days of pent up need for Jason meant that when I came it felt like an explosion-- a really REALLY good explosion. From the tips of my toes to the tips of my ears my entire body shook as I could have sworn I must have dumped a gallon of cum into my Human, and it went on and on and on; my balls must have wanted to make up for lost time.

Eventually, once my breath-stealing orgasm started to subside, my attention focused on Jason, who was snuggling back against me. I felt my chest get caught up among some small tears in his shirt a few places where my teeth hadn't been kind; the remorse started to kick in, but it was put on pause when my Human let out a content breath. "Man... I needed that."

He always knew how to make me feel valued. Pulling him even more firmly to my body I rolled over so I could be his mattress, laying on my back with him perched on my abdomen. "Me too, Jay... me too."

I could have fallen asleep at that point, except for the fact that I knew Sully was due home in about an hour, and there was plenty to do before then (including, but not limited to letting my knot shrink so Jason and I could separate. As usual, he helped put things in perspective. "Looks like we need a new ironing board... again."

I immediately pledged my innocence. "You said it was supposed to be sturdy."

His chuckles also made faint spasms around my buried cock which I felt astutely; it'd be harder to get soft at that rate but I honestly didn't mind. Sighing, Jason reached back to run his fingers along the fuzz of my cheek. "I don't think they had the weight of a Human and Bull Terrier in mind when they were talking about durability, JD."

It was my turn to roll my eyes. "Feh... an obvious oversight."

Anyway, we were together on the floor for another half hour or so. There's something to be said for the warm afterglow of a good, meaningful fuck with a Human that means so much to you, especially when it's joined by an intimate social connection too. No, that's not a girly thing to say either-- spending time with my Jason is my favorite activity, and if I'm balls deep in him while we're talking about our day then that's just a bonus. It was so good just spending time with him that we continued to cuddle on the sofa after my knot softened enough for it to come out.

And, if you're wondering, yes-- we did get all our clothes back on before Sully got home. The ironing board was still on the floor though, and he noticed. "Uh... so what's with the thing in the living room?"

Before I could speak up, Jason chose to offer his own explanation in what was definitely a more delicate presentation than I would have given. "I wanted to get a nice ironing board since the one we have is wobbly and I know you wanted to have one available."

Sully's response couldn't have been more him; the way his ears lifted and his tail froze would have been a perfect pic if I'd had my phone. "What happened to it?"

Once again, Jason spoke before I could. "JD happened."

No further explanation was given but apparently none was needed. Sullivan headed off down the hall toward his room. "Oh."

Even with getting off work late and all the traffic, all in all I would still have to admit that it was a pretty damn good day. Granted, the ironing board was expensive and I knew my poor Jason would probably have to return it, but it was definitely one of those experiences I think I'm better for having had. There was a lesson in there too about what manufacturers think counts as 'strong', and how easy it is to prove em wrong. But, hey-- making the most out of life means occasional 'oops' moments like that.

Even so, I don't argue that in many cases the old adage 'Measure twice. Cut once.' is the way to go. Sure, sometimes you should plan ahead. Yeah, there are times when looking before you leap is the right move. Still, some times you have to live a little and just break the fucking ironing board.
