Vulpes Maxmus or just another foxes in space story by Raven Fox: A commission story that I was paid to write for a friend. This story wasn‘t to my liking, so I did some changes to more of my taste. I like to thank a couple friends of mine on this site for their ideas and input or I wouldn‘t of posted this. This was going to be part two, but that part is messed up real bad and I am currently fixing it. It’s going to be awhile before I write a story for someone. Plot: A U.S. Air Force fighter downs an unknown aircraft and the human race pays a price. Everyone gets forcefully removed and scattered across the galaxy.

A city on Earth somewhere in the United States.

Sean is sitting in a cage looking at the different canine morphs walking by his cage. The male human with brown hair with hazel colored eyes with a skinny build watches them walk by. Unknown to his captors, he’s pushing forty two years and they thought he’s someone in his thirties., “I wish I was twenty years old again, but I might end up getting killed as a slave because I don’t have the endurance I use to when I was young and dumb.” Sean thought to himself seeing other cages being wheeled past him.

It all started three weeks ago when the news reports stated that the military shoot down of an unknown craft which crashed in Los Angeles. Most of the city was destroyed by the crash of the craft that had the explosive power of 300 kiloton nuclear bomb. A week later, swarms of ships buzzed through out the Earth taking people off the planet.

The male human was surprised that the people that are running thru the streets stunning everybody are anthropomorphic canines. He was in his home in Everett Washington when the canines waltzed into his apartment stunning him. Sean woke up in a cell block with other humans. Any fights that break out, the cell fills with a type of gas knocking everyone out with a smaller crowd in the cell. There was only one fight at the start, after that there was no more fights after that one example.

After a week and a half in the cell block, the prisoners were rounded up and cleaned up. A group of canines that look like Mastiffs and Pit bulls looked at the group choosing most of the prisoners leaving Sean with three other guys and a teenage boy., “You rejects are being put on the auction block in a few days.” Said one of the Pit bulls.

Now the human male is sitting in this cage watching as other humans are bought at this auction. He watches as the teenage boy from his cell block is lead by a vixen, the vulpine looks at him shaking her head., “Sorry, I can only save one.” She whispered to him, making him nod.

Sean watches as the vixen walked away with the teenage boy holding his hand. The human leaned against the cage wall looking at the different canines leading away the humans they purchased. A minute later, the cage moved thru an opening to a bright lit place.

The place the auction is being held at used to be a football stadium. Sean didn’t recognized the place due to he wasn’t a sports fan due to being the target of bullies who were jocks making him dislike sports.

“Here’s our final human up for sale, a middle age human male in fair shape. Did some testing of his intelligence finding out this specimen will make a good mechanic once he learns our technology. We start the bidding at a low asking price at 500 Hen ski credits.” Said the announcer on the P.A. system.

“I am worth more than five hundred credits.” Mumbled the human looking at the large scoreboard showing the bidding on him.

“The bidding is at fifteen hundred by the group of female pit bulls at the south side.” The voice replied with glee.

The human looked south seeing black colored canines looking at him. Sean thought they were the ugliest females he ever saw in his life. They have their head hair into buzz cuts with gold rings in their noses. “I just hate face piercing, makes any face hideous, come on somebody, I don’t want to live with those canines. I rather live with a fox or a type of collie.” He thought to himself when the bidding on him went to 2500 credits.

“Twenty five hundred credits is the current bid from our bidder at orbit. Do I hear 3000?” Said the announcer.

The pit bulls went for 4000 and were out bid at 5000. Bidding went on, the pit bulls gave up when his price went up to 7500., “I wonder who bought me?” Sean thought to himself as his cage is moved off the field.

“That was the last human who was on sale. Thank you for your bids, tomorrow, we will be selling different parts of the planet to the highest bidder. See you all tomorrow at the same time.” There is a click as the sound system is turned off.

His cage went down the large hallway to an exit of the stadium. The view changed to a type of shuttle sitting on the parking lot. Sean studied the craft taking in its’ lines finding it rather beautiful. He is wheeled to an opened ramp and is wheeled inside the shuttle.

“What does she want with an old human; he was better off with those female pit bulls.” Said the male pit bull pushing the cage. “They would have just used him for a punching bag and sparing partner.”

The male wolf that is by the pit bull shrugged., “Maybe she felt sorry for him, maybe she will use him for a butler. It’s none of our business why she bought him, we just deliver.” He saw the pit bull was going to do something to human. The lupine grabbed the pit bull and kicked him down the ramp., “I’ll finish the delivery, don’t you know what would happen if we mark him? We will half to give him to her for free and we will pay the auction house the purchase price.”

At the bottom of the ramp, the pit bull replied., “It will be worth 7500 credits to beat up this human. Those females should have gotten him instead of her.”

The wolf does a gesture and two security canines took away the pit bull., “I am not wasting any of my pay to pay for damaged merchandise. This was your last chance, you’re fired, and I am letting the military know you’re eligible for military service.” He looks at the human with a mix look., “I don’t know why she bought you human, you’re lucky that she won you instead of those female pit bulls. Those aren’t female canines in my opinion; I would prefer her over those female pit bulls any day. Personally, I prefer a vixen over her, but that’s my opinion. A word of advice human, do what she says and life will be easy on you.”

He nodded as the ramp closed, the shuttle made a thrumming noise as it lifted off the parking lot. The human looked out a viewport as the unknown city shrank in size. Sean saw the view changed as the shuttle changed course and accelerated in speed to escape the clutches of Earth.

On the ground, a vixen holding the hand of a teenage boy watches as the shuttle speed away. She sighed in relief looking at the boy., “I am glad I got a hold of my friend Adena to get that human male. She will take better care of him than those other canines. Let’s get out of here Dann; you’ll prefer my home world than what those canines are going to do to Earth.”

The shuttle continued its’ climb to space, inside his cage, Sean stayed quiet seeing different ships parked in orbit. He saw shuttles like this one maneuvering into the other ships. The human felt the shuttle turned giving him a view of a very big ship., “Wow, that ship is a monster!”

“Yeah, the red panda species are more advanced than us. I don’t know why the pit bulls want to pick a fight with them, they will kick our ass like we kick you humans’ ass. They voted against us in taking Earth, but that‘s why they didn’t assist us in taking Earth. One of the reasons the pit bulls don’t like them. I have a bad feeling this will change things in the galaxy. Remember what I said to you human, do what she says to you.” Said the wolf sitting next to the cage.

All what he could do is look at the massive ship getting closer. He watched a sci-fi series called Babylon 5 and remembered a ship class called the whitestar, but this ship isn’t silver with lavender streaks on it. This ship is grey with medium blue streaks on it and huge. Memories went thru his mind of when the canines first started attacking the Earth, the worlds military only lasted two days of fighting before the planet was taken over.

The inside of the shuttle changes in light density as it went in the ship. Sean felt the shuttle settle on the deck. He heard the sound of the hanger door close and a thud as the door closed.

A minute later, the ramp lowered and the wolf pushed the cage down the ramp.

“Do you half to keep him caged?” Asked a female voice making the human look up.

“Wow!” Is all can he say looking at the female anthropomorphic red panda looking at him with blue eyes.

She stuck her hand thru the bars caressing his chin looking at him. An electric jolt went thru his body when she touched him looking at him with compassion. The male human felt relaxed in her presence, he didn’t say bad things to her or do harm to her. Sean just didn’t know what to do just stare at her.

The red panda stood a little over six feet tall compared to his five foot five height. She’s wearing a skin tight medium blue colored jumpsuit showing the curves of her lean body.

Sean just stared at her large full breasts threatening to burst out of the jumpsuit. He watched as she withdrew her hand and stood looking at the wolf., “Much better than those female skank pit bulls that wanted me. Heck, I’ll scrub the decks of this ship with a tooth brush for this red panda to stay with her.” The human thought to himself as the red panda gave pieces of a silver metal to the wolf.

“Pleasure doing business with you Adena.” Said the wolf taking the pieces of metal.

Adena took the human out of the cage and held his hand., “Take that dam cage with you, I don’t want it on my ship. I have a brig on this ship that’s much nicer than that cage.” Said the red panda still holding the humans’ hand.

The wolf took in the cage nodding in agreement putting it on the shuttle. He took one last look at Sean and boarded the shuttle pushing the cage up the ramp.

Adena took Sean out of the hanger leading him down a passageway. She opened a door gesturing the human to follow her into the room.

He saw a very large room that is indescribable. The room is set up with a large pool with a type of artificial beach with plants., “Maybe this is a recreational area on this ship.” The human thought to himself. Sean did some calculations thinking that this ship must be five thousand feet in length. Then decided to take another look at the red panda who bought him.

She is the reddish orange color with a long bushy tail being the reddish and orange stripes. Her head hair is really neat; its long passes the shoulders being the same color as her pelt with a yellowish white patch at the front part of the hair giving her a cool look. The face has a color of the pelt with white starting above her eyes that are a light blue coloring.

The human watches as she walks to the foliage area and she gestures him to her. He watches as the red panda unzips her suit and peeled it off her body. Sean gulped at what he saw as the suit is removed from her body. Her pelt is mostly black as if a black one piece swim suit is on a fox vixen, but the red panda is wearing a skimpy two piece swim suit that is white in color. She smiled at him putting on a pair of dark sunglasses with gold colored frames., “Sit next to me, I don’t bite, I am really quite gentle human. By the way, what’s your name?”

Sean sat next to her keeping a distance from her of three feet., “Uh, my name is Sean maam, or do I call you mistress?”

The red panda scowled at him grabbed him and held him tight to her. She ran her fingers thru his hair and kissed him., “My race doesn’t practice slavery, I bought you so you didn’t end up with those female pit bulls. My self personally, I despise that breed of canine, but they’re friends with the wolves. The foxes hate them and some other civilized species of the universe. My race doesn’t allow some canines on our home world due to them practicing slavery, stand still.” Adena said getting behind the human and kneaded his shoulders., “You’re tense, relax Sean, we’re just going to sit here and tell each other stuff. Later, I’ll tell you another reason I bought you, but it will half to wait till we go to bed. From now on in front of my crew, you call me captain, when we’re alone together, call me Adena, do that, we’ll get along just fine.”

He relaxed feeling her hands massaging his shoulders. The massage stopped for a minute and it resumed. Sean felt her looking over his right shoulder seeing her cute muzzle looking at him., “I really think you’re really cute, can you give me a hint what you want me for?” The human saw a grin and the cute muzzle shook saying “Later.”

“I don’t want to spoil the surprise Sean, trust me, you’ll like it. Alright, a slight hint, and that’s it.” She said to him.

After the human sat next to the red panda, he removed his shirt due to this room must be set at a hot day at the beach. Later, the bridge of the Adenas’ ship.

Sean watched as they passed the moon. He looked at the medium blue colored jump suit he’s now wearing. The human is sitting next to the red panda looking at the different crewmembers. They liked him and felt sorry for the humans losing their planet. Adena told him that this ship is mainly a science ship studying the galaxy.

“But if somebody wants to give us a bad time, they will regret it. This ship might listed as a science vessel, but it can destroy most other ships or badly damage ones larger than it.” Adena said to him when they first went on the bridge.

He nodded in agreement looking at the moon as the starship passed it. Then remembered the cryptic remark the wolf made of the red pandas can defeat the other canines if they picked a fight with the red pandas.

“Make preparations for the jump to the home world.” Ordered Adena looking out the bridge windows.

A white vortex opened in front of the ship. Sean looked as the vortex grew closer in front of the ship. He felt his heart race as it grew larger.

“Relax human, this is normal, we do this all the time.” Said a bridge crewmember behind him.

Adena turned to Sean grinning., “The first space jump is the worst, and you’ll get use to it.”

The human steadied his breathing as the ship went in the vortex. He covered his eyes as the inside the bridge went white with the bright light.

“You can uncover your eyes Sean.” Said Adena.

Sean uncovered his eyes seeing a rainbow of colors swirling around the ship. It was like a tunnel made up of thousands of bright colors with the ship going down the middle of it., “Wow, this is so cool.” Is all the human can say looking at the tunnel.

“Pfft, now we’ll be looking at this for the next twelve hours.” Said the male red panda at helm control. He looked at the human and grinned., “The name is Arno, helmsman first class. We were here to overlook the auction those barbarian canines were holding. Then we get a call from a vixen friend about you. Our captain saw those female pit bulls bidding on you and out bid them. Trust me, you don’t want to be under the ownership of female pit bulls, you might have lasted maybe two months.”

A black furred hand rested on his knee., “That’s enough helmsman, no need to scare our newest crewmember. He will live the rest of his life in comfort on our home world.” Adena said and looked at Sean., “If you’re worrying about that teenage boy with the vixen who contacted me. Rest assured he will be alright, unless he’s over the age of sixteen.”

“Uh, what will happen to him if he’s over the age of sixteen?” Asked the human with a dread tone in his voice.

“The fox species doesn’t have many males, if that teenage boy is over the age of sixteen, she’ll take him for a mate. At the foxes’ home world, any male over the age of sixteen is eligible for marriage.” Said the female red panda and she looked at the human., “Is he over the age of sixteen?”

“He’s seventeen and I kept the other guys in the cell from making moves on him. I might be a scrawny forty two year old human male pass his prime, but those canines had no honor. The people who use to run the United States separated kids from adults in the prison system. Those canines kept all the males together in the same cell block kids and adults. No, the people who ran things before looked out for kids.” Said the human looking at the red pandas looking at him.

Adena chuckled., “Well it looks like my vixen friend bought herself a mate.” She looks at the human., “She’s twenty two, that’s not much of an age difference. Plus I don‘t think you‘re pass your prime, you still have a lot of years left in you.”

Sean nodded and felt Adena rubbed his knee and looked at the strange looking jump tunnel at the front of the ship. He felt her muzzle close to his ear., “In a couple of hours, I am getting off watch. You won’t be sleeping in the brig; you’ll be sleeping in my room with me.” She whispered in ear.

The human did a shiver when she pulled away from him. He looked in her direction seeing the female red panda looking ahead. She moved her eyes to his direction and did a smile. Sean wondered what she has in store for him.

A couple of hours later, Adenas’ cabin.

She gently pushed the human into her cabin shutting the door. The red panda massaged the humans’ shoulders., “Relax Sean, your surprise is coming to you soon. Remove that suit, and lay down on the bed.” Adena said in a gentle voice.

The human removed his suit that’s he’s wearing and walked to bed and lay down. He looked around seeing a slightly small living place with a door at one wall. Sean had a friend who did four years in the United States Navy telling him how different staterooms are set up on ships. A noise made the human turn to the red panda seeing her removing her suit.

She walked to a solid divider at one end getting behind it. A minute later, Adena walked out from behind it wearing a black laced bra and black panties.

The red panda giggles sliding the sunglasses onto her muzzle in front of her eyes. Sean found the sight really cute making him thinks that she must be in her early twenties. She spent a while talking to him of what he’ll be doing on her ship. Adena told Sean that he’s under her protection and the crewmembers of her ship.

The male human continued looking at the planet nearby relaxing and feeling pity for the rest of the humans on the planet Earth. He served his country in the armed forces only eight years in the United States Army making only E-6. Sean looked at the dark and light blue torque around his neck with Celtic writing on it.

Adena told him the writing on it is her family name in their ancient written language. The red panda told him the current written language is like English he is familiar with.

She looked at the human standing next to her looking at her home world which is now his. Humans are not allowed on the planet Earth except for slaves owned by the Mastiffs, Pit bulls and Wolves. Anger went thru Adenas’ mind because she knows the truth of what happen over the skies over Los Angles California., “Some day they will pay for this.” She muttered to her self real quiet.

“What was it you said Captain?” Asked Sean looking at her.

The red panda smiled at the human., “Nothing, just muttering to myself. We have to pick up a couple of super computers and deliver them to the fox’s home world. Maybe we can visit Janelle; she is the vixen who bought that teenage boy who was in the same cell with you.” She said to him seeing him smile and nod. Adena noted that Sean has a nice smile making a note the she should encourage him to smile more often., “He should relax and chill, but I will work with him. Then my race will deal with a couple of canine species. First we got to get the foxes away from the Pit bulls.” The red panda thought to herself as her planet came closer in view.

A few weeks ago, a military control tower at California.

The controller looked at the radar image of the different passenger jetliners approaching the California coast. He quietly sighed doing a game in his head., “The 747 close by is Japan Airlines with a load of passengers from Tokyo going to San Francisco. Airbus A380 is Singapore Airlines going to LA. What the hell?!” The human muttered out loud seeing a different blip going real close to the 747.

“Control, this Japan Airlines flight 4552 going to San Francisco. We just have gotten in a near collision with an unknown aircraft that passed less than a hundred feet from our left. We saw no markings and it was going to fast for a visual id.” Said the pilot of the 747.

The controller knew the pilot in question said unknown aircraft so he won’t be called a flake if questioned later. He heard a couple of more pilots’ report of getting nearly hit by the unknown craft. Hairs stood up at the back of his head when the Colonel in charge walked to a phone picking it up.

“Scramble the fighters, unknown bogy heading to the coast. Intercept and identify.” The older human male said to the phone.

An F-22 fighter near Los Angles.

The male human turned his fighter to the contact. Anger coursed thru him when he heard that this unknown almost collided with a couple of passenger jets. His radar picked up the unknown heading to Los Angles. The Captain of the U. S. Air Force intercepted the unknown by punching to after burner.

A few minutes later, the unknown aircraft is 50 miles from LA. The craft is roughly sixty five feet long being dark blue in color looking like black at different angles. He looked at it lines seeing that the mid to back section is smooth nice shape except the front area. The cockpit area is faceted like the F-117 stealth fighter that was retired back in 2008, but a few are still being flown at area 51 for testing of different systems., “Robin 3, back away! I don’t like the looks of that craft.”

A blue beam emitted from the front of the craft blowing the F-22 to pieces.

“Base, this is Robin 1, Robin 3 was shoot down by the unknown. Request instructions.” He said in his radio.

A minute later, there was a reply., “Orders from the White House, terminate the target.”

The pilot of the F-22 extended his speed brakes getting behind the craft. He saw no ejection from his wingman. The master arm switch is flipped on and a sidewinder missile is selected., “This is for my wingman you bastard or what ever you are.” He whispered as the button is pushed.

The missile streaked away from the fighter and slammed into the back of the craft.

He watched as the craft fell from the sky. For a while it looked it was going to crash at the ocean a mile from shore. Then it leveled out and flew level a mile inshore over the city and crashed at a freeway interchange.

The tinted visor saved his eyesight from the blinding white flash. His fighter shook as if a giant hand is shaking the fighter., “Oh my god.” He whispered seeing the mushroom cloud miles and thousands of feet below him.

“Robin 1, we just registered a 300 kiloton explosion at your area, report.” Said the base controller.

“Base this is Robin 1, the unknown craft deliberately crashed in the LA area. I repeat, the unknown craft deliberately crashed in the city of Los Angles causing unknown civilian deaths. They must have detonated what ever caused that explosion, it sat for almost ten seconds and detonated base.” Said the fighter pilot.

“Robin 1, return to base.” Said the controller.

“Fuck, Fuck, Shit, Shit, I hope we make who ever did this pay for the city of LA.” Said the fighter pilot watching as the explosion dissipated. He turns his fighter back to base not knowing that the worst is yet to come.

One week later, Edmonds Washington.

Dann walked from the bus stop he uses to get home. The young human ran a hand thru his blonde hair waving at the other teenagers walking to their homes. Shrugging the straps to his backpack, Dann walked home wondering what his mother is fixing for dinner.

Down stairs, a female voice replied back., “The TV just went out! I think the power is acting up again!”

The seventeen year old sighed and look at his I pod to put on a song. He looked at the screen showing the blinking apple symbol indicating a system malfunction. Dann decided to try one last item, his deceased father who was killed in a accident a year ago gave him a very old item what his friends call a relic from the stone age. The young teenager pulled out an old cassette player with a fresh set of C batteries. He placed a Deep Purple tape in the old player pushing the play button. The song his father liked a lot called Child in time started playing. Dann remembered something his dad told him that a way to cripple a high tech country is to disable all systems being dependent on computers. The teenager looked out his window seeing his neighbors opening the hoods of their cars.

His mom walked in shaking her head., “My cell phone has no service and the car won’t start.”

“I think we’re under attack mom. Did you try starting dads’ car?” He asked her knowing about the 1971 Dodge Dart. That car has no ECM or electronic fuel injection; it has a mechanical carburetor and points that doesn’t depend on a computer.

Mother and son walked to the garage looking at the B-4 blue colored car. Dann took his keys and pumped the gas pedal once setting the auto choke. He turned the key hearing the familiar pulsing sound of the Chrysler starter and a few seconds later, the slant six engine caught. Thirty seconds later, the engine settled and they exited the garage.

Dann avoided disabled cars that are blocking the roads with the old car. He glances at the fuel gauge seeing that they have only ¾ of a tank., “Should only be able to drive for a while till I think what to do next.” The teenager thought to himself seeing strange looking aircraft flying around.

A few minutes later while driving down a side street, a group of figures wearing full covering outfits walking down the street saw the car and started firing at it with strange looking guns. The guns had no effect, the old in line six cylinder engine still ran.

The last words he heard from his mother was a warning., “They’re bringing out a different gun! Watch out Dann!” Darkness…

A jail cell, an unknown place.

Dann stayed quiet looking at the two men looking each other over. Out of both of them, he noted that the older one is the most dangerous one out of both of them because the older one reminded him of his father.

“You get out of my way you old fart, you’re too old for me, and I bet you can’t get it up. Let me have him, maybe our captors will drop off someone your age.” Said the blonde man standing up.

The teenager saw the older guy change his stance moving his feet for better balance and he changed his expression., “Shit, this guy is ex-military, this is going to be messy.”

Blondie made a move to the older guy and ended up on the floor. He got up taking a swing, but the older guy moved quickly and Dann heard the sound of a green stick breaking with Blondie grabbing his right arm which was bent at the middle of the forearm. Then a white mist went inside the cell and he felt sleepy.

“Hey kid, are you alright?” Asked the older guy looking at him.

“I am ok dad.” Dann said weakly and realized what he said to the guy., “Sorry, my name is Dann.”

“I am Sean, I never been married and the last blonde hair female I had sex with was over twenty years ago. You look like your sixteen and never had a razor scrapped across your chin.” Said the older man giving him a hand up off the floor.

Dann saw that there were some inmates missing from the cell along with the blonde man who wanted him as a girlfriend. “We get your message, the kid is off limits.” Said one of the inmates.

“Thank you for your service.” Said another.

Another one asked., “Do you think this mess is due to what happened at LA?”

“If the Air Force is responsible, they should be punished, not us. I didn’t shoot down that craft.” Said a long hair inmate who glared at Sean.

Sean walked up to the long hair inmate. He had to do something to make him Alpha in this cell and this long hair won’t make him feel guilty of what he’s going to do. The older human male grabbed the guys’ shirt and picked up from the bench and glared at him., “I heard that unknown aircraft shoot down one of our F-22s’. “Well, you do still have gray matter between your ears instead of shit. The Air Force guards our air space from unauthorized intrusions. That unknown craft violated our airspace and shoot down one of our fighters. I hope I get to meet that fighter pilot, I’ll pin a medal on his chest, and I still have my humanitarian medal from the Army. Now if you want to stay unharmed, stay quiet or I’ll show you how nasty I can be.” He lets go and walked back to the teenager.

Dann just stayed quiet because the last thing he wanted is to lose the current protection of this Sean., “Where is my mother?” He thought to himself.

Weeks later, an unknown city.

He found himself in a cage in the middle of a football stadium with the bleachers full of canine morphs. Dann found out the worlds military fought back the total of two days before all the military branches were defeated. All the humans are being taken off the planet Earth at the current time. The teenage male relaxed knowing that any other canine will be a better alternative than those canines at the South area. He listens as his price went up to 7000 credits.

“Sold to the mystery buyer for 7500 credits, don’t worry ladies; we have one more human male in the holding pen.” Said the voice on the PA system.

Dann felt ill because he knew that the last human was Sean who protected him since all of this started. Two canines pushed his cage to the holding area. At the holding area is a different canine instead from the others he saw., “What is that canine? Wait! The teenager saw Sean in a cage being lead out to the field. He heard her say something to him.

A minute later, Dann saw Janelle talking into something that looked like an over size cell phone. He saw her looking at him with her blue cat like eyes and he got a better look at the vixen.

A minute later, the couple approached a sleek dark gray colored shuttle with sleek lines. He noted the shuttle looked nicer than the other ones parked in the parking lot. The human followed the vixen in the shuttle.

Janelle walked to the control station of the shuttle. Dann saw blank screens at the control panels with a few familiar controls. He saw her stick something like a credit card in a slot and started flipping switches, seeing the blank screens coming on., “Sit next to me Dann, we’re getting out of here.”

I’ve been separated from my mother and I don’t know where she is and I ended up on a auction block and was almost bought by some of the ugliest females I’ve ever seen in my life. “The other canines retaliated when a scout ship was downed by the military of this world. My race had no choice but to assist in the taking this planet. Count yourself lucky that I got you instead of those female pit bulls, that group over there had some friends on that scout ship.” She says touching his chin with a black furred hand, then with draws it and looks at the human closely., “As for your mother, I don’t know where she is, she can be anywhere. But I am getting you off this planet. Taking your life isn’t the solution of all problems and it’s the waste of a male.”

He went quiet as the shuttle lifted off the ground. Dann watches as Janelle moves the controls and looks outside. The human watches the night sky as distant objects gets closer turning into the shapes of different starships. He saw different types, but one gotten his attention. This one is grey in color with blue streaks on it with the lines of an aerial predator and it is huge making the other ships look small., “Man, that one is a monster, it makes the other ships look like toys.” Dann said looking at the ship.

“That is a ship of the red panda species. Your friend who was the last human up for sale should be on it now.” The vixen said giving the large ship a wide berth. Janelle waved at the ship and turned the shuttle to a smaller ship that seem familiar to him.

He watched his dad play an old computer game called Wing Commander 4. The ship he’s heading to now looked like the Confed carrier the Lexington. Dann looked as the shuttle he is on went thru an opening seeing different types of spacecraft parked in the hanger this shuttle is landing in.

Janelle shut off the shuttle systems flipping switches in the off position and looked at him., “Welcome to your new home Dann.” She said pulling the credit card thing out of the slot it was in and led him out of the shuttle.

She looked at him and shrugged., “Ninety Earth years old, our ships have a long life span. We have starships older than this one.” The vixen said shutting the door and locking it.

Janelle watches as Dann looked at her home world and looked at a white field appearing near by. She curled the sides of her muzzle as a ship belonging to the pit bulls exited the jump field.

The ship is boxy, black and ugly in appearance. It blocked the foxes ship by pulling in front of it.

The human male saw that it is bigger than the vulpine ship. A voice emanated from the bridge speakers., “Fox ship, surrender your humans or we will open fire.”

At the com console, a vixen was operating the communications equipment., “They’re jamming us!”

“Fox ship, if you don’t launch a shuttle in a minute, we’ll open fire.” Said the canine voice from the speaker.

Ten seconds later, another jump field appeared nearby. The ship that appeared is grey in color with blue streaks with the lines of an aerial predator.

Dan watched the large ship as it slowed down and parked itself in front of the vulpine carrier. The Pit bulls did the dumbest thing possible; they fired on the red panda ship thinking it was just a science vessel.

Janelle watches as the large vessel pulled up getting distance and turned heading to the Pit bull ship. The canine ship fired on the red panda ship again with the laser bolts glancing off the larger ship shields.

On the bridge the human felt a hand grabbed his making him look at the vixen. He saw her look at him with fear and looked out the bridge window., “That was a very dumb move on their part. They fired at that ship first, watch Dann, here is the reason you don’t send a rabbit to kill a fox.” She said to him watching as the larger ship streaked to the smaller black one. Three laser bolts streaked out of weapons points and joined near the front of the ship hitting the Pit bull ship.

Near the vulpine carrier, the large laser bolt hit the smaller black ship. It shields only lasted for a few seconds before the shields collapsed making the laser bolt hit the Pit bull ship. A second later the ship started exploding.

Dann just stared at the expanding debris field near the ship. He looked at the large ship stopping near the vulpine carrier., “Ow, you’re breaking my hand love!” The human said out loud. Dann felt her hand relax and saw Janelle looking at him.

“They really screw up this time, threaten this ship and fired at a Red Panda ship. How many times the wolves did told them, don’t pick a fight with the Red Pandas!” Said the carriers’ captain shaking her head. She looks at the couple sighing looking at the large ship parked real close by.

Red Panda ship, bridge.

Adnea looked at the debris field and looked at the human staring outside the bridge window. She walked to the com console picking up the mic., “It was self defense, I think it’s time you foxes change the beings you hang out with. Next time, one of us might not be near by.”

Sean stayed quiet remembering what that one wolf said to him., “The red panda species are more advanced than us. I don’t know why the pit bulls want to pick a fight with them, they will kick our ass like we kick you humans’ ass. They voted against us in taking Earth, but that‘s why they didn’t assist us in taking Earth.” The human played that speech in his head shivering to himself

The Red Panda walked from the com console and stood next to the human. She put an arm around his shoulders and felt him relax. Adena knew that right now a government shuttle is now lifting off the surface of the foxes’ home world. The Red Panda gave the human a kiss., “This incident is going to cause me a lot of paperwork.”

He nodded in agreement remembering himself not to piss off his mate., “I am a witness, they shot first.”

She sighed looking at the debris seeing no escape pods. Adena knew that the Pit bulls didn’t believe in them and their ships didn’t have them., “They got pissed because that one group didn’t get any humans. So they think they can bully the foxes in surrendering the humans they bought.”

“One thing I can’t stand is a sore loser.” Replied the human earning chuckles from the bridge crew.

She exhaled thru her nose and turned to the helmsman., “Alright, place us in a standard orbit and keep the weapons manned. As of this moment, we’re on alert and I am keeping the weapons stations manned from now on.” Adena looked at Sean., “It’s not your humans fault, we knew something like this was going to happen soon.”

A few days later, government building at the foxes home world.

The male fox looked at the canines and the few Red Pandas with a few humans., “As of this day due to one of your ships intimidating one of ours. Plus some evidence that was brought to my attention by our new allies. My race will no longer assist your races in military missions. A ships’ captain was orbiting the planet Earth with her ship hiding from the inhabitants of that planet. She observes your scout ship endanger terrain aerial vehicles and downing a terrain aircraft.”

A Pit bull female interrupted., “They down our scout craft, that one was destroyed by the blast of our crash!”

A female Red Panda stood up clicking a remote and a screen showed the scout craft buzzing the slow jet powered airliners almost hitting them. Adena looked at the female canine when the recording showed one of the F-22s exploding. Then the craft exploding ten seconds after it crashed., “I know your craft can withstand the impact of a sidewinder missile. Something smells and I remember taking a shower this morning with my human mate. What do you people want with Earth so much that you had to lie to make the other canines help you take it and remove every human off it.”

The room is so quiet; the only sound is the angry hard breathing of the few humans with the morphs. Adena saw the humans glaring at the canines with hatred, one, a young blonde hair male sitting by her friend Janelle had a murderous look., “I think we should get the humans out of here before something happens.” Said one of the foxes.

The humans are removed by the Red Pandas and foxes. Janelle observed her human lover really glaring at the canine morphs. She saw the older human male bringing up his right fist extending the middle finger at the Pit bulls. Then he started talking to the young blonde hair human male.

Adena looked at the canines curling her lip exposing her teeth. She is glad that her human mate is no longer near by., “I think he would run away from me from doing that.” The Red panda thought to herself., “Alright, there are two ways to avoid a conflict.”

There is disagreement shouting in the crowd as the group of canines started arguing.

“Shut up!” Yelled Adena glaring at the canines. She inhaled a breath and exhaled., “One! Replace all the humans back on the Earth. I know that some will stay where they are place at. Two! Restitutions to the humans for what you done to them.” The Red panda had to endure more complaining by the canines and minutes later, it wound down., “If you don’t agree, my government will half to be in a state of war with the Pit bulls. They did attack my ship without warning and I was delivering a couple of super computers. So if you want to avoid a war with my race, return the humans and give them an apology with restitutions and my government would forget that incident a few days ago.” Adena looked at the groups of canines knowing that the fox race has cut all ties to the Pit bulls. She looked at the Todds and vixens who are members of the government. The Red panda listened to the rest of the meeting.

Epilogue, a few weeks later, Adenas’ ship orbiting the foxes home world.

Adena looked at the planet with a grin knowing that things have changed. Most of the humans were returned to Earth, but some refused to go back to Earth. The Red Panda remembered going to a unique planet to interview two human males.

One of the human males is living with a female faun living with an undiscovered race of retile morphs. The other is living at a type of inn and bar n grill place with a female lynx. Both human males elected to stay with the females they fell in love with.

She felt her human mate hug her asking., “What’s on your mind captain?”

The Red Panda chuckled., “That one planet we were at a week ago. The gas giant that had the floating continents on it. We should be heading there in a couple weeks. Some of my scientists want to study it; they never saw anything like it. Plus, first contact with another high tech race, my government is real interested in opening talks with that royal family.”

Sean nodded in agreement, in the last couple of weeks the human male ended with the craving of studying unknown and unique stuff., “Looking forward to it my mate, ever since being on this ship, I think I’ve been bitten by the science bug.”

Andena laughed looking at Sean., “I’ll make you into a scientist yet.”

The couple still in an embrace looked at the planet they’re orbiting. The Pit bulls had to pay a really huge fine for what they did to the Earth. Adena did a smile remembering the looks of the government personal of that race of canines when the Red Panda government gave them that admonition., “Pay up or there will be war between us.”

They had no choice because with out the foxes, the other canine races didn’t want to fight the Red Pandas., “I told you Pit bulls, the Red Pandas are more advanced than us. That one ship just had to fire on the one we thought was a science vessel.” Said a member of the wolves’ government.

It hurt them, but the foxes did one last joint mission with the canines in assisting gathering the humans scattered across the galaxy. After that, the foxes cut off diplomatic ties with the canines. They still have a relationship with the wolves that are counted as second cousins.

Adena looked at Sean and her watch grinning looking at the door that leads to her stateroom. She saw him nod with a grin, then she grabbed his hand and they walked to her stateroom.
