[b][u]No Weaseling Out of This One

For Rayoelgatubelo

“Come, Hammerling.”

Barbara smacked her thigh loudly, and the dog followed after her, darting down one of the many paths through the woods with her. She moved just as quickly. With the sun going down and the convent doubtlessly aware of her gone missing, they’d be looking. But not for long. Not for long, now.

She looked towards the forest canopy, seeing the light fading already. The sun would be gone in less than an hour, and the huntress-to-be knew that nobody would risk coming out for longer than a few minutes. They wouldn’t want to fight what she was about to become.

“Not if I have anything to say about it…”

As her boots found the familiar paths, she growled under her breath. It wasn’t the beast form coming, not yet at least. No, it was more the fact that this had come...so soon.

I haven’t even been part of a real hunt! she thought to herself as she stomped along after her dog. This is...this isn’t even fair. I haven’t had the chance to fight, to kill, to hunt these creatures properly, and now they’re going to kill me before I even get one of them?

Screw the law. This wasn’t how Barbara, legend in the making, was going to go down. Not here, not now.

Even with the rising sounds of hunters gathering up the other hounds and running from the convent, she pushed herself deeper into the woods. She had a head start, and that would be all she needed. All she needed to find the fucker that bit her, that had her fail this whole exam...all of it.

Just one kill...that’s all I ask. One fucking kill…

“Come on, Hammerling. Follow the scent…”

She was panting, and that meant that the moon was almost up according to the teachings. Her time was coming, and she still hadn’t found it.

Hammerling was just running in circles now, barely deviating from the same path that they’d walked a few dozen times already, and Barbara had to resist the urge to kick him. He was doing what he was told, just not in the method he was supposed to.

She slumped against one of the trees as she growled again, her rage kicking into high gear. Already she could feel the tingles coming, running along her arms and her back, and she looked up towards the sky again. The stars were coming out, the light was gone...and the hint of the moon could just barely be seen coming up on the horizon.

“Not...yet…”

No matter her begging, the world wouldn’t listen. The prickle of growing hair suddenly intensified on the back of her neck as she stared up at the moon, and Barbara fell to her knees with a wail of despair.

“No, no no no no no!”

Hammerling ran to her, and this time she did kick him, kicked him off towards the other side of the clearing. It was a painful thing to do, and his whimpers struck at her heart, but better he run than he stay here, with what she was becoming.

Shaking hands already sprouting fur, she reached down for her belt. Her sword slipped from her grip, but her dagger was light enough for her to hold. She clung to it, lifting it up towards her chest.

Death...to the beast...right? she thought as she looked down at the silver blade. There would be no killing the one that caught her. That was clear now. The only thing that she might get for a kill would be killing herself.

She wondered if it would be worth it.

Even as she considered it, her hands continued to warp, fingers slowly shortening and turning stubby in their attempts to keep hold of the dagger. She managed it, but only barely, grumbling and grunting as she tried to keep hold of it. It turned and slipped through increasingly fuzzy fingers, and as her body tingled from head to toe, it only got harder.

The decision was taken from her as she slipped to all fours, growling in animalistic rage. Her eyes closed as she tried to hold back the changes, but they were already running free all over her. The fur ran down her neck and up her arms, coating her in a brown layer along her back and a white one on her neck and chest. It spread further and further, carrying with it all the power of the change, all the horrible nature of the transformation.

She bit her lip as she felt the first swelling, pushing at her chest rather than further down. Barbara didn’t dare look, but the swelling left no doubt as to what was happening to her. Her leather armor pressed to her chest firmly, and then firmer still, almost crushing her growing breasts, and it was getting harder and harder to ignore them.

Hammerling came to her again, and this time she didn’t have the willpower to thrust him away. She whimpered, trying to pull at the vest, but it was too tight...or her fingers were too stupid...or -

“Grrrrrr!”

Her hound leaped at her, pulling at the straps. For a moment, Barbara felt a sense of relief that her hound still wanted to help her, and could only moan as her breasts came swinging free, the hound’s interference sending her armor to the ground.

Oh God, yes...yes...no!

She opened her eyes and looked down, seeing how big her breasts had become. She had never been that ‘endowed’ before, but now she put the buxom woman at the local tavern to shame. Barbara tried to cover herself, but the sensation of her transforming breasts only left her...wet.

Shivering at the feeling between her legs, she looked down and back. The pressure on her leather leggings was already growing. Could she really lose more?

No.

Determined to at least face this with some dignity, she kicked off her boots and her pants while she still could. It was difficult, particularly with her legs furring up and her growing tail, but she managed it, sliding along the ground as she did.

Panting, she tried to pull herself to her feet, but the transformation shocked her again, sending her tumbling to the ground with a scream. She wrapped her arms around her middle, shaking her head as she felt her spine tug at both ends, like some invisible force was pulling her between them. Tug, tug, tug it went, pulling her head further and further away from her toes. Half an inch, an inch, two inches.

She wasn’t getting any thicker, but her body was getting longer, from waist to shoulders, anyway. Stretching, stretching, like a ferret...or a weasel.

“That...fucking...rat...bastard…”

Barbara growled, her teeth coming to points and leaving her lips bleeding for a moment before she healed up again. She panted, feeling her face pushing further outwards, stretching out into a muzzle like her body had been lengthened. Lips and nose grew closer and closer together, and she could barely breathe through it for a moment before they evened out again.

With her ears growing up and vaguely pointed, she could smell herself. Her fur and her body reeked with that horrible smell that all things that crawled so low to the ground smelled of. A horrible, nose-burning scent that only served to remind her of how low she’d fallen.

The dagger.

She could see it, still shimmering in the light not far away. It was so close. Barbara groaned as she sunk clawed fingers into the ground, pulling herself along towards the blade. Five feet...four feet.

Her progress stopped as she felt the transformation running down her back again, sinking into her feet. Though they remained flat rather than rising up like the wolf creatures she’d studied, they furred and thickened, growing bigger and a bit stumpy, her thighs likewise thickening with muscle as she was changed.

Dagger...get it...before…

Three feet away, and her pussy felt like it was on fire. Her fluffy tail curled over her back, her breath coming in quick, soft pants as she felt her juices running down her legs. The beast was coming in, and it was as wanton as she had ever heard. It needed satiation, and it was clawing at what was left of her, trying to end her before she could end it. She had to hurry.

Two feet.

One foot.

She’d just reached out with one hand when she felt the soft, snuffling breaths of her hound behind her. It was just above her thigh, over her rump, and her eyes went wide as she realized what he might be about to do.

“Hamm-mmmmmph!”

She collapsed onto the ground at the quick lick along her sex. She was so pent up that the dog’s little tasting lap was enough to push her over the edge. Flopping on her back, she arched herself towards the moon, the beast rushing through her with such a frenzy that there was no way she could stop it. It burned in her veins, ripping her mind to shreds and replacing it with its own.

After rolling around and screaming in orgasm with such volume that Hammerling was finally chased away, Barbara slowly came back to herself. Well, what was herself, now, as the were-weasel slowly pulled herself to her feet. It was tricky, the first time, with her longer body and her thin tail, but she worked out a way to use them to keep her footing. She rolled from one side to another, getting her balance, and smirked as she leaned down for the dagger.

Stupid thing…

She threw it away, the blade spinning off into the distance before thunking itself deeply into one of the trees. Let it serve as a marker for the hunters in the morning. She would find them. She would find them and kill them one by one, turning them into her own little warren.

If I won’t be a legend as a hunter...then I will be a myth as a beast. A goddess or a devil, one or the other, it doesn’t matter. They will know my name.

With a mad laugh, she ran off into the forest, dripping all the way.
