Chapter 9

Ekundayo, much as he hated to admit it, was enjoying the hard cock deep in his ass. The feeling of Muto fucking him, the hard smack, smack, smack feeling of the canine's hips hitting his ass, the musky smell in the air of the other man's sex - hell, the smell of his own body at that point - was all going right down to his cock, keeping him hard and eager for more. He panted, his fingers curling, the only movement that he was capable of as he gripped the sheets as he was fucked by the security chief.
"Ha...ha...getting it now, boy?" Muto grunted from above. "You want to have power...you want to change things...you gotta...gotta push back...from inside..."
The lessons and lecture had been going for a while. They didn't make any sense anymore, though, as his mind had been entirely seized by the sex and refused to be released. he groaned every time that pointed tip of that dick reached his depths, moaned every time that his hole clenched tight around the base of that cock. It wasn't the same as being fucked by his Trainer, but it was still a damn good feeling to have something so deep inside of him, something that was rubbing against his little pleasure button so well.
He hadn't been allowed to cum yet, the collar keeping him from going over the edge, but he was a mess of pre-cum, his belly soaked with it, and his eyes were rolled back in their sockets as he stared up at the ceiling from getting rutted this hard. His mouth hung open, his moans getting louder with each thrust, his cock throbbing all the harder. He moaned, his cock bouncing, thorbbing, pulsing needily with every single hilting thrust. He was getting rutted, he was loving it, and there was little to no shame left for the hyena to it.
More...more...
That was all that he could think of. He needed more, needed to be filled to the brim, needed to be left gaping. Was that part of the collar fucking with him? Was that the drugs? He didn't know, and he was at the point of not caring that much, either. All that mattered was getting that dick, getting that pleasure.
Muto pulled out, and he groaned, his eyes rolling back. He wanted...he needed...
The maned wolf stood up, pushing down on him. Not with hand, but with a foot. He groaned under his breath, feeling those furred toes rubbing up along his balls, and then pushing down on his shaft. It was just enough weight to feel the pressure and worry a little, but not so much to feel that bad. He groaned, puffing, huffing, his hips wanting to thrust but too drugged to manage any kind of real resistance.
"You understand yet?" Muto asked, stroking his cock slowly. "You're too weak to do anything. All this human tech, all this stuff that they use on us. That's part of what they use to keep control, and we can never do anything about that. All we can do is work with them, do what we can to change things. You can get that with a good buyer, make them better by you being better. It'll be hard as fuck, but you can do it if you really try. And if you don't...well..."
That foot stroked down along his shaft, teasing it with a stroke before the clawed toes reached his asshole. The biggest of the bunch pushed past his pucker, wiggling, and he whimpered, getting the reminder of how much more he could have if he would just open up, if he would just...mmmph...
"If you don't give them some of what they want, they'll just take the whole thing. Take everything that used to be you, and turn you into something else. You'll lose everything. You'll be like this all the time. You want that, boy?"
"Nnnngh..."
"You want to be nothing but a cock sock, huh?"
"Mmmph..."
"You want it that bad? Or do you want to be a warrior? Do you want to just be a fuck-toy, or do you want to fight for something and keep that little bit of honor that you fucking have left?"
Ekundayo moaned, whimpering, shivering. He couldn't nod, couldn't speak, could only take what was given to him, and what was given to him was pleasure. Lots and lots and lots of pleasure, and it was so extensive, so powerful, that all he could do was lay there and take it, savor it, enjoy it.
Yet, at the same time, that fiery core of him was still there. He still wanted to take some revenge, to show that he was more than a beast, that he had something else to him besides just the slavery of being Domesticated. He was someone that had been growing in strength at home, someone that would have been better than just a warrior. He was...he was...
He groaned as a second toe popped in, the maned wolf looking down at him with sympathy. There was nothing there now, nothing of that respect that he had almost won earlier. He had thrown that away when he brought the gun around and aimed it at the human. The minute that he had turned his weapon on the Trainer, he had shown that he could not be trusted, and that was all that mattered.
More...please...
That was what his libido begged for, but he knew that he needed something else. Something better, something more filling, something that would remind him of what he was. He gritted his teeth, managed a slight thrust of his hips, a slight curling of his toes, and Muto finally smirked.
"There's that fire, boy. I knew that it was still there."
"Mmmph..."
"You're gonna learn how to channel that fire, boy. You're gonna learn how to use it, and you're going to learn how to be the best damn security officer that I've ever seen. And when you get it right, you're going to make your new owner's place your own."
He groaned, but Muto leaned down, looming over him, that fat cock resting against his thighs, on the verge of sliding into him and taking him again.
"I'm serious. Security officers have to do everything for their owners. They take care of things, they make it work, they keep the place safe. You can make your new home a place that's better for the Domesticated there than anywhere else. Enough people like you and me? And we can make it better for everyone. Just need to have enough of us out there. Just need to be enough people like you and me..."
Muto's cock started to slide forward, right on the verge of pushing into him, and then -
CRASH!
The door came flying inwards, bursting off the hinges. Muto leaped up, but not fast enough. The door slammed into his head, taking him backwards, sending him flying to the floor. He was out cold in seconds, and through the door came masked men in leather armor, their faces covered and their hands filled with some sort of weapon.
Tranquilizer guns, the back of his mind filled in, drawing the information from the depths where it had been stored. He groaned under his breath as he realized how fucked he was, the pleasure keeping him from thinking clear enough to fight, his body too limp to do what he told it to do, anyway.
Fuck, fuck, fuck...
Ekundayo tried to move, but the men were already there. They looked down at him, look at the collar, and one leaned in closer to him to whisper.
"Don't worry. We're going to set you free. Just have to get you out of here first."
"Nnnngh..."
"Just let it happen. Trust us. It'll be better when this is done."
And with that, they aimed one of the tranquilizer guns at him. The dart hit his thigh, and he was out like a light in less than a minute.
#
Ekundayo woke to the sound of screaming, shouting, and rattling bars. The hyena groaned under his breath, sitting up slowly, only for a familiar hand to grip him by the shoulder.
"Steady, boy," Muto's voice muttered at him. "We're in the shit now...you okay?"
"Mmmph...Not...not drugged anymore, at least."
"That's something. Shit...fucking shit."
Ekundayo opened his eyes, and his eyes widened all the further when he realized what he was looking at. Muto had been tied to the wall, restrained by chains at his neck, waist, and ankles. His collar was still on, but it was sparking, looking like someone had tried to take it off and failed. The maned wolf's voice was, he realized, crackling a little bit, almost like there was something wrong with it.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Snatchers," Muto growled. "Fucking Snatchers."
"But...they said..."
"Fucking liars, is what they are. Set us free, they promise. Fuck that. Fuck them. And fuck everything that they stand for."
The maned wolf was obviously too angry to talk straight, he decided. The fact that Muto was all tied up must have meant that he had fought back.
He's been brainwashed, Ekundayo decided. Just like all the others. Nina, Muto, all of them. They don't want to go free, and that means that they won't let anyone set them free.
Just because the world was big didn't mean that there weren't people willing to see him taken home. Just because the Trainer and his pets had said that the Snatchers were just going to - no, no, he wasn't going to believe that anymore. He had been taken away from his Trainer, and they promised that they were going to set him free. Why would his Trainer tell him the truth about the Snatchers, anyway? All they did was make trouble for him, and if they were that bad at their job, why would they still be in business?
No, they had to be better at it. They had to be the sort of people that would send him back home. This was a good thing for him.
He sat up the rest of the way, looking around the prison cell that they had been dropped in. It was a large cell, taking up the back of some kind of cave. There wasn't much light, just a lamp that was at the far end of the room near the tunnel that led out of the place. The rest of the Domesticated, none of them that he recognized, were slamming themselves against the bars, begging to be released, calling to be let loose from the prison. Ekundayo shook his head. They were trying to go back to the people that owned them? That had enslaved them?
Are they all...
They had to be wrong. They had to be as brainwashed as Muto and the others were to accept this situation. Why wouldn't they want to go home?
As Muto continued to growl and complain about the Snatchers, Ekundayo managed to sit up. He started to take a step from his resting place, only to feel a sudden yank back. Expecting to have been grabbed by Muto, he turned -
Only to see a chain wrapped around his ankle. It seemed that even he had been restrained, even though he had been sleeping off a drug and they had promised to release him. He knelt down, touching the edge of the chain, shaking his head slowly as he looked back up at the maned wolf.
"What the hell...why am I..."
"They don't trust you, that's why. They don't trust any of us."
"But I'm not one of you!"
"You're one of us, boy."
"I'm not a Domesticated!"
"No, but you are a beast."
"..."
"You're one of us, far as they're concerned. Far as they think of you, you're something wild that doesn't belong in their society and has to be released again."
"Good."
"Are you that stupid, boy?"
"I'm going to get away from here. That's all that matters to me."
And that was the truth. As long as they got him away from here, as long as they took him from his masters, from his trainers, from the fucking humans, he would be happy again. He didn't want to be there. He never wanted to be there. He wanted to be back with his people, no matter how awkward it was. Once he got back, he could do something, anything, to get them ready for more humans coming their way.
One way or another, he would show them how to defend themselves. They wouldn't lose anyone else.
Then, there was a different sound. The hyena perked up his ears, listening as the sound of footsteps got louder. The other Domesticated started shouting louder, slamming themselves with bruising force against the bars of the cage. Some of them actually did slam their heads against the bars, knocking themselves out in the process in their desperation to try and get out, while others just pulled so hard that they popped things out of alignment, and then kept pulling despite the screams of pain.
Ekundayo couldn't believe what he was seeing. The raw fear that came from the various Domesticated at the sound of the Snatchers coming back was too much to believe. How could this even -
The humans appeared at the edge of the tunnel, one of them picking up the lamp, three others bearing pistols and chains. They stepped towards the cage, all while the Domesticated howled and screeched at them, begging to be let loose, to be returned to their homes.
The answer was three tranquilizer darts fired at the same time. Those hit - two foxes and a wolf - collapsed backwards, staying awake for maybe three seconds before they were completely unconscious. The rest of the crowd pulled back, snarling, growling, staring, but no longer throwing themselves against the bars. The human carrying the lamp stepped forward.
"I know that you can't understand this, but we are doing what is best for you. We're taking you back to your home environment. No more city life for you, no more time under the collar, no more time with other humans. You are going to be released, and you won't have to worry about that ever again."
That should have been an encouragement, but the other Domesticated only wailed and howled all the harder. Ekundayo was shocked as Muto slammed against his chains, the maned wolf thrusting his hand towards the gap in the bars.
"I swear to FUCK that I'll kill every last one of you if you don't send me home. I'm not one of those pity projects you show the world. I'm proud of what I am. I'm fucking PROUD!"
"You will return to your home, and we promise, it will be better for you. There's no need to worry. We are doing what is right for all of you."
"Fuck you!"
Ekundayo gently tugged the maned wolf back, trying to calm him down before he got himself shot with another dart. While he did so, the humans turned to one of the smaller Domesticated, a tabby cat that was still hunched over by the bars. The one with the lamp gestured at him, and one of the armed humans gave his gun to his comrades before moving to the door. The ones with the tranq guns kept their weapons trained on the crowd, while the other one unlocked the bars.
The cat tried to dart past, but the human was ready for that, grabbing the cat by the scruff of the neck and turning him around. Ekundayo watched as the feline was wrapped in chains, their calico fur pulled and almost ripped out in places at the rough handling, only to be turned around and pushed down to the ground. He was trapped, pinned in place, arms pulled tight behind his back, and then -
"Take the collar."
Ekundayo watched with surprising curiosity as the humans grabbed either side of the collar. The cell was shut again, and all the other Domesticated leaned forward, desperately watching, staring as the collar was grabbed by either side. The humans grunted, then yanked, hard. The collar shattered, and the screams of the feline turned to meows. Nothing but meows, nothing but the bestial sounds that...that....
That almost no sense to the hyena. His mouth fell open as he realized just how much the collar had been translating for him since putting it on, how much he had been allowed to understand by wearing it. There was still some of what the cat was saying that came through, but as the collar was doing the job of the speaker and of the listener now, rather than taking what the cat's collar had been saying and translating that, it was coming through with greater difficulty.
Oh god...oh god...
The calico was led away, shrieking like a beast, sounding nothing like the civilized Domesticated that he had been around. No wonder the humans looked down on them so much, he realized. To them, they sounded like nothing. They sounded like literal beasts.
He hunched back as they were left in the dark again, shaking his head in disbelief. Muto snorted.
"Still think that they're going to be good?"
"They promised."
"They promise that they're good people, huh? Fuck them. Fuck them with a fucking cactus."
"But they're releasing us. Why...why would they..."
"You think that they want us to be able to do anything?"
"..."
"That collar makes us look like pets. They want us to be wild. The more wild we look, the better they look releasing us. If we look happy, then it makes them look like kidnappers."
"...You're lying..."
"You think I'd like about something like this?"
"You want to go back. You didn't want me to do anything to the Trainer, even after he did bad things to me. You wanted...you'd lie...you'd..."
"Kid, I would never fucking lie about something like this. You got kidnapped? Yeah, that fucking sucks. But you think that it's gonna change if you kill him? You think you're gonna go back to your people now? Fuck no. You've lost the chance of ever seeing anything like them again, kid. Unless some miracle happens, we're stuck here, and there's no way that they're giving you what you want."
Muto's words fell on him like a ton of bricks, burying him in fear, despair. What little hope that he had felt was ripped from him in that moment, and his fingers slowly rose to his collar, rubbing it. If that was taken from him, would he still be able to understand Muto? Would he be able to understand anyone, or would all the words come through like gibberish?
Oh god...oh fuck...
The reality of the situation, that he was a victim of kidnapping, was slowly crashing down on him. He had been ripped away a second time, but this time, there was no compensation. There was no learning, no language, no collar that would make it easier for him to learn or easier for him to get on with his new world. They were taking things from him, ripping him down, trying to make him into -
Into an actual beast, he realized. They didn't want Domesticated, didn't want people. They just wanted them to go back to being animals, to being something less, to being something in the wild.
They might...
He couldn't keep up his own denial anymore. He slumped down, his back against the wall, his hands against his eyes. All those illusions, all those moments of hope that he had tried to keep after waking up, were stripped from him in that one moment. There was nothing left. They were going to get rid of the collar, leave him too stupid to understand anyone around him, and if he was lucky, they might take him back across the water to where he had come from.
If he wasn't lucky, they would just take him outside the city, away from anything and everyone that he had ever known, where he didn't know the language, or the culture, or anything. He would be left there, naked, unarmed, with nothing to fend for himself. If he was very, very lucky after that, he'd live as a thief. If he wasn't, he'd be dead in a few short days from no water, no food, and no shelter.
They were demons, he decided. Demons that believed that they knew better than anyone around them, demons that would decide the fate of anyone that they thought was too stupid or too weak to decide for themselves. And he had been caught by them because he was too stupid, too angry, too up his own ass to see the reality in front of his face.
There has to be some way out.
But if there was, what could it be? What the hell could any of them do if they wanted to get back to their old lives, to get back to their old owners? He still hated Brecht, but at least there, he knew what was going to happen to him on a daily basis. he was learning the rules, figuring out how he could behave and still get what he wanted? He had possibilities ahead. If they could just get out...
But how?
Too many of them were tied up. He realized that now. They were not pushed back from the bars because the humans were worried about them escaping, they were pushed back because they didn't want to get hurt when they went inside to get the ones that they wanted to 'release'. Muto was an exception with the sheer amount of restraints that he was under, and Ekundayo would guess that was because the maned wolf had lashed out earlier, that he had done something that had scared the Snatchers. But the others were all tied up at least as much as him, their ankles restrained.
Even if they got past the bars, they only had one way to go. And he would be willing to bet that none of them knew what was waiting for them at the end of the hallway. It was just one long stretch of stone, and who knew what the humans had at the other end?
They were in the shit, alright. Muto had that part right.
"What do we do?" he muttered.
"Whatever we can. Make them regret picking us."
"So that's it? Just fight and hope for the best?"
"Think we got much of a choice?"
"I just...I need something..."
"Hell, if you thought you could get the keys off the humans and come back for us, that'd be something, but..."
Muto shrugged his shoulders, and Ekundayo had to admit that he didn't have anything better than that, either. If someone could get the keys and come running back for the others, it would at least let them all work together to try something, but when it came down to it, it would still mean trying to escape from a cavern none of them knew how to escape from. They didn't know the layout, they didn't even know where the hell they were in the world. All they knew was that they were somewhere underground, probably too far to call for help even if they had a connection to their former owners and trainers. All they could do was wait.
Despite his times in bondage and under the control of the drugs and collar, Ekundayo had to admit that he had never, ever felt this kind of helpless before. Now that he had lost all ability to actually push forward, all ability to do anything but wait - and not even have things done to him, but wait to have things done to him - he realized what true helplessness was. It hurt, and it scared him.
He lowered his head to his knees, curling up in the fetal position as he sucked air. Think. Think. He had to think. What were their options?
"Wait...wait..."
The hyena lifted his head.
"Wait, who got hit? Hey, hey!" He shouted. "Who got hit?"
The crowd parted slightly, revealing one of the wolves that had gotten darted by the humans. He ran over, kneeling down and slowly tugging at the dart. The syringe inside was still whole, which was something. Not great, but that was something that they could use. He wiped the edge of it on the wolf's fur, whispering an apology as he got rid of the last of the sedative, and then turned around.
"Anyone here know how to...to..." He struggled, the words not coming to him.
Muto, however, seemed to get exactly what he was saying. The maned wolf nodded.
"Anyone that knows how to pick a lock, grab one of the darts and get working."
It wasn't much, and it wasn't going to be enough to get the bars open - that was locked with something electronic - but the chains that held them were locked by old tumblers, something that he could see in the back of his mind wasn't the most secure. If they could at least unlock some of the chains, then that would get them a chance later on. If they could just get that much done, then there was the possibility of some of them charging the bars, or -
The sound of footsteps came again. The Domesticated retreated, dragging the sleeping bodies back. They couldn't allow the humans to see that they were planning something now, couldn't let them realize that they were onto a way out of the cage.
Just like before, four of them, one with the lamp, the other three armed. The Domesticated kept back from the bars this time, not wanting to risk getting shot and losing more of their numbers. Ekundayo handed the dart he held back to Muto, keeping it as surreptitious as he could.
"You there."
He froze in place as the human with the lamp pointed at him. His eyes went wide as he realized that he was being called forward, pulled away from the rest of the group.
Not yet. Not yet.
"Come here."
His only hope, he realized, was obedience. Be a good hyena, and they might take their time. Be a well-behaved little Domesticated, and they might not throw him around, might not tie him up as much. If he acted like he wanted it, they might even slow it down, give everyone else the chance to get themselves free of the chains, and they might not be so wary around him.
Fuck, fuck, fuck...don't fuck it up...don't fuck it up...
Ekundayo did as he was told, stepping towards the door and waiting with his hands folded behind his back. He turned around, showing that he had nothing in them, and then turned around again, waiting like a good, obedient hyena. The humans were surprised, but they didn't look that suspicious, surprisingly. They opened the door, unlocked his shackle, then stepped back as if expecting a trick.
If he had wanted to, he could have leaped on the first human, ripped out his throat, and then tried to make a move on the second. However, he had a better than average chance of getting hit by the tranq darts if he tried that, so he didn't. He just smiled, instead.
"Thank you," he said.
They stared at him with utter shock. Was this the first time that someone had said that to them? If that was the case, then Muto was right. Anyone that had been caught early like him would have been thanking them for real if they were the sort of people that they claimed to be. If they weren't, then they deserved all the criticisms and hate that Muto had for them.
"Thank you," he said again, lying. "I want to go home. I just...I want to go home..."
"Home...and where is that, b-hyena?" the human with the lamp asked, changing his words at the last second.
"So far from here. So far away."
"...We'll make sure that you get there, then."
He could almost taste the lie on the human's lips, something that surprised him. He had never particularly prided himself on being good at reading people, but either he had become that much better, or he had been exposed to so much truth of late that a blatant lie just was that much of a contrast. He was honestly surprised, but hid it. He needed to be a good boy, a good hyena.
"Thank you. Thank you so much."
"...Hey, do you think..." One of the tranq humans nodded at him. "Do you think that he'd be good for a statement?"
"You know, he just might."
"Hey, hyena. Do you have a name?"
"The humans called me Eku, but my real name is Ekundayo," he said.
"Well, uh, Ek...Ekyun...uh..."
The tranq human looked back at the one with the lamp, almost like he was asking permission, and the one with the lamp nodded.
"Eku. Is it alright if I keep calling you that?"
"I...I guess, if you can still get me home," he said, trying to sound grateful rather than irritated, and it seemed to work.
"Great. Eku. We'll take you home, but first, if you come with us, we'll have you make a statement. Something to show the world that you're happy with us, that we're doing the right thing. Okay?"
They were even doing the thing of talking slower, as if he couldn't understand them perfectly fine. He wanted to grit his teeth in frustration, wanted to show some of the anger that was gradually building down in his heart, but he managed to keep that from being quite so obvious. Instead, he forced another smile, nodding at them.
"I'll do whatever you need. Just get me home."
"That's wonderful. Come with us."
They waved for him to come forward, but when they thought he wasn't looking, he could see their smiles fading. He could see the way that they plugged their noses around him, the way that they mouthed at one another behind their masks. It was impossible to see what they were saying, but it was just as impossible to miss the meaning.
He stinks, but we need him. He's a beast, but we need him.
Ekundayo didn't know what they needed him for, but he knew that they would treat him a little better than the others in the cage so long as he showed them that they were going to get what they wanted. As long as he was cooperative, he would have a chance to turn things around.
...I think I finally get what Muto meant...
It didn't make the humans like Brecht better, but it made the anger that he was harboring that much more focused. The more that he did on instinct, by urges, the less effective he would be. He needed to focus what his actions did, make sure that they would pay off, or he would never, ever get something back. The most that he would do was die trying to make some human or another pay for what they had done.
For good or ill, he had become a Domesticated now. If he could not leave that behind, then he needed to focus on what he could do moving forward. If that meant being a collaborator for a little while, then that was something that he could do. It just meant that the huamns would never know when he would turn.
It's your turn to sweat a little bit, he thought. Your turn to be scared. I've been scared every day since I was caught, so time to spread it around.
Ekundayo liked the thought of that. He savored it, held it close to his heart as he was led down the stone tunnel. Soon, the sound of the other Domesticated faded away, and all he could hear were his footsteps and those of the humans on either side of him. They walked deeper and deeper into the caverns, and he started to wonder just how far off their destination actually was. It couldn't be that much further, could it? He doubted that they could be going that much deeper into -
And then, they turned a corner, and his eyes went wide.
