She huffed from her spot in their den as watched that sniffling disgrace stay close to her bonded male. She; second-eldest Grey-Stripe thought it appalling at their supposed beta's attitude but then she and beta had never gotten along too well. She had fought her sister Blue-Stripe the most for position as Beta and would've fought for Alpha position too if she could, but pack was deeply loyal to Alpha, she supposed she was too, though she would never tell anyone, nor him. But despite her loyalty, to even think of lowering herself to what Blue-Stripe had done.

She scoffed and watched Blue-Stripe-Beta take alpha-food from Alpha before rejecting it and rushing to water, youngest sister Green-Black Stripe barks at her in confusion. Alpha's food was strange, too much taste? Grey-Stripe snorted. Sucking up to Alpha, acting like a new-born chick begging for a meal. She'd been suffocating them for so long with her infernal pheromones, nearly choking them from the smell. If any of them had been male Blue-Stripe-Beta would've been bred by now, but she'd only had eyes for one. Even when they were younger barely past children she had proclaimed herself Alpha's chosen, Alpha's mate-to-be.

When they had been separated from Alpha when they grew Blue-Stripe-Beta had taken it the hardest, in the earlier days she'd crooned pathetically longing for Alpha's touch and his smell. If Alpha only knew the power he truly had over his beta. At his command that slut would bend over with raised tail and allow him to enact any dirty fantasy he wished, she would produce him numbers and numbers of eggs if he wished it.

Grey-Stripe stretched. If she were Beta, she'd show Alpha how a real female acted for their mate. Showing how a strong capable female can show herself off for her mate, dominate the pack in his name and make their obedience unquestionable, not fawning over him every moment but that had always been Blue-Stripe, always ready to please and nuzzle the Alpha. She supposed that was how the beta loved.

Grey-Stripe lazily made her way around their den clapping her jaws and cleared her throat. Moving her thoughts from the hormonal beta, she thought of the light-time that had been so far; hunting, fighting, eating, today had been fun! The ugly red and brown had been a good fight, not as intense or dare she even admit scary as the big white crazy, but a good fight nonetheless.

Where go? Green-Bump barked in question.

Walking. She barked in response leaving their fattest sister to laze back down.

Grey-Stripe eventually made it to entrance of their den where she found Alpha eating his strange alpha food, it smelled strange and she already knew she would not eat it like their beta.

Alpha turned is attention to her and bared his teeth in the strange way he and his kind did and spoke to her, using sounds she come to understand as a greeting. She in turn barked back in greeting then looked around the area beyond their home.

Things had certainly changed for them all and definitely for the better. She hoped things wouldn't change back, she was enjoying this freedom far too much to go back to being caged, she refused to be caged again.

She smelt and heard the beta trotting towards her from behind having cleaned her tongue of Alpha's food.

Without a word but only a glance Blue-Stripe walked past her barked a hearty greeting to her Alpha, pushing at the food in his hand with the tip of her snout before laying down beside him.

Slut. She chittered quietly.

Unfortunately, the beta overheard.

What!? You Dare!? The Blue striped beta barked back.

Grey-Stripe looked to her sister. You are! She barked. Fawning over Alpha! Breeding with him!

Jealous you are! Blue-Stripe barked loudly then nuzzled Alpha who then looked between Blue-Stripe and herself.

As if. Grey-Stripe snorted and returned to the den indignantly. Again, if she were to mate with Alpha she'd show him what strong female could do, but that's if she wanted to of course. Not that she did.

Owen looked confusedly between Blue and Echo, he was sure something had just gone down between them, a sort of disagreement but he had no idea what. Blue now was pressing herself up against him nuzzling his chest while he was trying to eat, he lifted his spaghetti pan over Blue's head and continued to eat as Blue settled next to him all the while Echo continued to scan the tree line far ahead of them. While eating he kept his eyes on Echo, he cared and loved her like the rest of his girls but she'd always been the most short tempered, the one who fought the most.

Owen smiled as he thought back to when the girls were younger, Delta and Charlie loved playing with the little toys they got from him and Echo loved destroying them which always upset her sisters. He chuckled, his stomach bouncing from the sound making Blue chirp quietly as she huffed and nuzzled against him a little harder.

Echo turned her gaze towards them watching them silently for a few seconds, a few seconds longer than Owen was comfortable with before huffing and spun around then walked back into the den, moving past her sisters and into the foliage all the while Owen watched her.

'Way smarter than they let on.' He thought to himself before finishing his spaghetti. He'd have to make a further note on that when he got back home, their social skills were more developed than he had initially thought. His thought went back a few years, before any of them had been born when not long after he'd taken the job; when he, Barry and a security team had travelled to Isla Sorna and studied the behaviours of the wild raptor packs. The experience had been stunning and terrifying, he'd read the accounts from Jurassic Park survivors and seeing those animals in action had a humbling sense, as deadly as they were they were also smart and they communicated to one another.

But it hadn't been quite like this. Owen took note, unless he'd missed something from his time on the other island, which he admitted was possible, the raptors hadn't communicated like his raptors did seeming to have brief conversations.

“What goes through your heads girl?" he asked as he looked down to his beta. The raptor tilted her head and looked at him with one eye she huffed softly against his chest, which blew his shirt and blinked. “I have an idea of what goes through yours." He added after a moment of thought, recalling recent events.

He still hadn't made up his mind on the whole thing his dreams on such had been of little help to his psyche. Was he going crazy from isolation from other humans, or was Blue communicating with him?

'Oh sure and I'm Professor Xavier.' Owen thought, rubbed his tired eyes and started to chuckle at the absurdity, he couldn't help it, his chuckle grew louder turning into a small laugh then louder into a full belly shaking howl of laughter. Blue stepped back in alarm as Owen laughed with tears streaking from his eyes. He was trapped on an island full of dinosaurs surrounded by four fully grown velociraptors with one that wanted him sexually and had ridden him like he was prized horse, and he'd stayed there voluntarily! He had to be the biggest mad man on the planet! He could've gone with Claire and her nephews, he could've been in a hotel now, having hot food, cold beers, nice soothing baths. Not having to worry about being killed and eaten every minute.

He didn't notice the other raptors watching him from afar, looking to one another then back to their Alpha.

Blue tilted her head, glanced to her sisters and watched as Owen fell to his side while clutching his sides. Blue stepped closer to him and barked softly then started to poke him with her snout.

He would've left Blue and the girls alone.

That thought sobered him up quickly. His laughing rapidly died down. The girls would've been left alone here, confused and left to fend for themselves. Not that he'd aided them much physically but they were a pack, all of them, together. They were pack. They were family. They'd been together for around three years now and Owen knew deep in his heart he'd never forgive himself for leaving them.

“Okay. Okay." Owen calmed himself down, the depressing thoughts of leaving his girls to fend for themselves striking him right in his very soul. He couldn't leave them now, not after everything they'd been through. Claire, Barry and the others were safe now far from this place.

“Okay, okay. I'm okay now. I'm fine." He said more to himself than to anyone else, he took a deep breath and gathered his wits. He nearly started laughing again when he saw the wide-eyed look on Blue as she stared at him. He turned round and looked inside the pen where the other raptors were looking at him with the same expression. “Sorry girls! Sorry Blue," he apologised to the raptors, “I've got a lot on my mind."

The blue striped raptor tilted her head before chittering in reply.

Owen looked down by his side, his rifle not too far from him, the weapon was fully loaded with just two bullets left tucked into the weapon's sling. He reminded himself of his ammunition problem, he wasn't in any immediate trouble as he had more bullets back at his place but thinking pragmatically he knew at some point he'd need to defend himself and he may not have any of his raptors close by, he'd need another weapon or weapons and that meant heading to the armoury, preferably the main armoury but that was the past the Rex's domain, he had no other choice.

He'd make a plan probably set a route to try an avoid the Rex, make it a mission for himself to keep his throughs from straying too far. He needed to be strong, needed to be tough, one moment of weakness and it'd be over for him. Or would it? He turned his focus to Blue whom was still watching him, eyes blinking slowly. He'd shown weakness before and up until a little over a month ago he'd assumed weakness around the raptor would've gotten him killed, but here he was now sat on his ass with an empty pan of spaghetti by his side looking up to a lethal predator who could, if willing, tear him to shreds before he'd so much as blink. Regardless to what he thought about his sexual encounter with Blue, it showed a side to her he'd never believed was possible, in his weakest moments Blue was there to shield him from threats, there to comfort him.

“You really do love me, don't you Blue?" he asked a small smile growing across his lips, he reached out for her to which she responded by placing her snout into his palm seeking his comfort, then brushed her head down his hand allowing him to stroke her jaw. Owen stayed silent at her display and started to caress and stroke her jaw and neck affectionately, her left eye focussed on him as soft little chitters came from her mouth.

After a short minute Owen pulled his hand away from the raptor and pushed himself up to his feet and took hold of his rifle and slung the weapon over his shoulder. He reached out giving Blue one more caress across the bottom of his jaw before marching into the open gates of the raptor pen.

“Blue! Charlie! Delta! Echo!" He calls loudly in a strong commanding voice. Blue shot past him then spun around standing before him while the other girls came running up to their Alpha. “I'm heading out, you girls stay here. Stay!" He commanded using known hand signals to reinforce his words. Slowly he starts backing away heading towards his bike, the raptor dutifully stay where they were, watching him as he stepped away, mounted his bike and rode off. He didn't want to leave, but he needed to be pragmatic right now and needed to think ahead for the days to come.

So, what we do now? Delta barked as they watch Alpha ride away on the strange beast.

Resting! Fighting and hunting was fun but tiring! Charley barked back, stretched then lay on the floor where she stood.

Echo turned and made her way deeper into their nest, without an utterance.

Blue looked to her sisters then looked back to the entrance as if pondering her next move. Mind quickly made up she made her way towards the exit.

Sister-Beta where're you going? Charlie suddenly barked noticing Blue go.

To Alpha. Blue retorted matter-of-factly.

But Alpha say to stay-no-leave, stay. Delta barked back in confusion.

Alpha needs to stay by his mate, Alpha leaves so I follow. Blue retorted immediately.

Alpha doesn't treat you like mate. Echo barked snidely.

Alpha's kind is different! He treats me like mate! Blue spun around snapping back at Echo.

Sisters please no fighting! Charlie chittered cowering at her two tougher sisters.

Alpha's mate must stay with Alpha, it is how it is! Blue hissed.

So being Alpha's mate makes you different from rest of pack? Echo growled, glaring at her sister.

Of course! Alpha's mate has different rules. This is obvious. Blue barked with a snarl.

What if we all mated with Alpha? Charlie chittered softly.

The others three slowly turned their heads to the youngest sister with wide shocked eyes, Delta even gaped at her, Charlie quietly looked among her sisters staring at her. Blue looked like she was about to explode with indignation, Echo just looked surprised, Delta just couldn't believe she'd heard such a thing from Charlie.

Horny breeder you are Charlie. Delta finally chittered.

The omega cowered trying to curl up into a ball. Delta looked to their Alpha/Beta who looked as if her head would burst.

We are pack, yes? New things out there, things new, strange, dangerous! Alpha alone could be in trouble, could be attacked. Pack must stay together. Pack is strong together. Delta reasoned.

Blue looked to Delta with narrowing her eyes, not in rage but thought. Her sister gave a fair point.

Fine, yes! Pack strong together. Pack stays together. We follow Alpha. Pack stay and no leave Alpha. Blue chittered twisting the orders of Alpha.

Together the four raptors bolted from their den and followed their Alpha's scent it wasn't hard as his strange beast left a strange smell in its wake, but they hadn't needed it; Blue remembered the way.

Owen Grady returned to his home; his bungalow, he parked his bike just outside by the front door when he immediately noticed something wrong. The front door was swinging in the gentle breeze; banging against the frame. Owen stayed seated on his bike his eyes warily staring at the door, he was sure he closed it behind him that morning, then again his mind had been all over the place so perhaps he was wrong. That still didn't help the feeling in his stomach, that unease he could feel throughout his body as if something were amiss, all his years in the Navy had hardwired his nerves to detect a bad situation and he'd been in plenty over the years.

With Caution, Owen dismounted his bike. Kicking out the standing leg the bike could lean on, Owen scanned his home to find anything amiss. His eyes locked on to the broken window. A large hole at the far end, near to his bed. There was no glass on the ground meaning something had broken in_._ Owen let out a slow breath and removed his rifle from his back and brought it to bear; safety off, hammer cocked and a round in the chamber. Owen crept slowly towards his home, his eyes never stopping in one place always scanning the area around him, making sure he left nothing go unnoticed.

He was on a few feet from the door now, he inhaled and exhaled slowly, his eyes now focussing down the scope of his rifle. The door continued to swing and smack against the frame. Owen couldn't hear anything coming from his domain which didn't help his nerves any.

Owen pressed himself into the door stopping it from swinging closed, he paused and listened for any sign of life. To his frustration he couldn't see anything inside his home yet, not the state it was in nor anything alive. Owen steeled himself then pushed the door open with his shoulder and stepped slowly inside.

The air felt still, as if time had slowed to a stop, nothing moved, nothing made a sound, even Owen held his breath listening for any indication of an intruder while his eyes moved from left to right then back again over and over. His home was a mess, his bed covers were torn, his things had been haphazardly strewn about on the floor, some of his cupboards had been broken open and packets of dried food torn open and devoured, what unnerved him more was whether whatever made the mess was still there or not.

Glancing over his shoulder he ensured there wasn't anything ready to jump him from behind; nothing. Stepping further inside he saw the glass from the smashed window now covering parts of his bed along with droplets of blood, focussing on the hole he realised the blood originated from the sharp edges of the ruined glass. Owen looked back to the blood smearing his bed and followed its trail down to the floor and along his cupboards and quickly concluded that whatever had been hurt hadn't bled for long, likely minor injuries, and whatever it was had been very hungry.

The silence was broken by Owen's soft exhale followed by the slow steps of is feet as he ventured further into his domain. Wild thoughts flew through the back of his mind as he tried to think what dinosaur could have been here or possibly still was here.

He paused in the middle of the room and listened intently holding his breath once more to focus on hearing.

Something was scratching.

Owen's head snapped to the side, his eyes moving to their very edges as his focus landed on his bathroom door. He heard scratching once more. Owen turned his shoulder tensing up as he silently made his way to the bathroom, he released a long soft breath, his support hand let go of his rifle and reached down to the doorknob. Grasping it he waited a few moment listening once more to anymore sounds, all was quiet and he didn't like it. Turning the knob he thrust the door open and pulled himself away from the door frame waiting for the unseen predator to make the first move, the first mistake.

Nothing happened.

Owen internally cursed knowing he'd have to make the first move. Index finger lightly pressing against the trigger he circled around the door frame and aimed into the room. Nothing again, but he could see claw marks on the floor and on his small bathtub/shower combo, the curtain was half pulled half torn along its rail.

'Shit.' He thought and pressed further into the bathroom, walking straight to his shower and reached out for the curtain. Then he heard it. A soft little chittering. A soft little chittering coming from behind him.

Owen spun around rifle at the ready pointing straight ahead. Nothing. Lower! He lowered his aim and saw it. A small very green dinosaur with a long neck for it's body's size. “Oh shit." He cursed. A Dilophosaurus. The little creature tilted its head at him inquisitively.

Owen hesitated he was about to talk to calm the creature when the shower curtain pulled open revealing a second Dilophosaurus, its frills opened out menacingly as the creature shrieked like a banshee. The first copied its sibling, its frills erecting around its head and shrieked. Owen adjusted his aim to the second and closest of the two just having a split second to react as black toxic mucus sprayed from their mouths, Owen's first instinct was to cover his face, bringing his rifle up to at least shield his eye, his index finger twitched against trigger as he pulled the weapon up accidentally firing a round into his wall. The sound reverberated around the small room causing him to cry out as his ears started ringing, the pair of Dilophosaurus shrieked loudly with the first one running to escape.

Owen dropped his rifle to cover his ears, the weapon clattering against the floor. The second Dilophosaurus shook its head as it screeched before leaping out of bathtub and landed on the floor, stumbling a little as it touched down. The Dilophosaurus turned its head towards Owen, its frills still erect and shaking, shrieking loudly trying to fight against its disorientation and stalked towards Owen, spraying more toxic mucus towards him.

Despite his disorientation and the ringing in his ears Owen knew he was still in trouble. Hands still clasped to his head he turned his body away when he felt the predator's venom splatter against his stomach and chest, the creature's aim thrown off from it's own ringing ears. He needed to get away! Owen turned, focussing on the door and barrelled past the Dilophosaurus which screeched in alarm as he ran past.

Owen made it out the bathroom before losing his footing and fell to the floor.

'Stupid Owen! Stupid!' he internally cursed but his body was already reacting on instinct and training; keep moving, keep going! Owen heard the Dilophosaurus behind him. He made to move when he heard the pounding of heavy feet in front of him and a familiar barking.

His hearing starting to clear, his disorientation fading, he looked up seeing a large sickle like claw less than six feet in front of him, the claw tapped the ground twice in rapid succession. Behind it were more similarly shaped feet, raising his gaze he saw four large very familiar predators.

Blue looked to him her head tilting as she seemed to be making sense of the scene before her. She looked up seeing the smaller yet still ferocious predator behind Owen its frills still erect but no longer shaking as it simply stared at the four apex predators. Blue lips peeled back as a snarl reverberated in her throat, her sister joined their eldest in growling at their Alpha's attacker.

The Dilophosaurus pulled back its frills, even with its limited intelligence it knew when it was time to retreat. It knew there was an alternate way out it was simply a matter of getting there.

All at once there was a burst of sudden movement, the small ambush predator turned right and made a quick dash to the shattered window while Blue and Charlie carefully stepped over Owen to chase the little predator as Delta and Echo stayed back just outside the doorway, watched their prey jump out the window and out of Owen's home, the latter two raptors gave chase, the intent not to kill but to scare away. The Dilophosaurus ran as quick as it's smaller legs could as the four raptors each barked their warning to it and to any that would dare come back.

Owen groaned and shook the last of his dizziness away, he pushed himself up onto his hands and knees cautiously as to try and test his balance, everything seeming fine he pushed himself up onto his knees coming face to face with his beta as she lowered her head to check on him.

“Don't know what you're doing here girls," he said softly looking between Blue and Charlie, “but I'm sure glad you're all here." He grinned then rose to his feet as Blue and Charlie chittered softly. Once stood Owen carefully balanced himself then reached out a hand to his beta who accepted to touch wholeheartedly and pressed her snout into his head allowing him to stroke her. The youngest of the pack chittered inquisitively behind Blue, Owen looked up to the pack omega and smiled before raising his free hand into the air. “Come here Charlie." He ordered softly letting the raptor come closer where he started to stroke her as well.

Unbeknownst to Owen Blue gave her youngest sibling a minor glare but allowed it, it was by Alpha's order that Charlie get attention and reward then she would allow it, but what Charlie had spoke before still shook her. What if they all become Alpha's mates? Would that make them all co-alphas? Surely not, that was far too confusing. Perhaps Alpha already knew, perhaps this was all his plan all along? If so then Blue would follow his wishes, she trusted him, and he'd never let her down. But if this wasn't the plan or if there was no plan, then Blue would simply see where it all went, she already had Alpha and he had her and with that she was content, she was happy. Blue chittered affectionately, raising her snout and gave Alpha a caring lick across the side of his head.

After separating from the two and giving Echo and Delta a greeting Owen set to do what he came back to do, now with the bonus of having the raptor mull about his domain, Charlie excitedly sniffed everything, barking loudly with excitement to her sisters before turning her attention to other things, Delta and Echo had their small share of exploring but were no means as excited as Charlie. Owen guessed she remembered the smells of everything from when the pack stayed with him there as babies. Doctor Wu and the board had been furious but Owen couldn't have given less of a shit if he tried. They were his girls and he'd raise them as he saw fit.

'Think I did a pretty damn good job too.' Owen admitted as he sat at his small table beside his bed and looked over the employee map of the park.

His two primary targets were main street and the primary ACU building, the former for the food the latter for the weaponry and munitions. “What isn't a problem now can always be a problem tomorrow", one of Owen's old Navy friends used to say that and Owen had taken it to heart. He looked to his side where his Marlin rifle lay, the cupboard above him had another box of 45-70 ammunition, but that wasn't much, if he wanted to keep himself safe he needed another weapon or two with a steady supply of ammunition. A deep huff diverted his attention and looked to the floor seeing Blue curled up close to him lightly snoozing. Then again, he thought with a humorous smirk, he could always just stay around the raptors, he knew Blue would protect him. But he was a strong independent man of the 21st century he didn't need no woman protecting him. Owen barked a short loud laugh startling Blue and Charlie, the latter poking her head out of the bathroom to look at him.

“Sorry girls." He said softly then got back to looking over the map. His primary problem was the T-Rex, he had no idea how far out she'd stretched her territory the ACU could be safe from her, or it could simply be another dinosaur's domain. Owen pressed his finger to the black “X" he'd drawn on the map identifying where he was then to a yellow “X" for the ACU building, his finger trailed up as he followed a possible clear route for himself away from Main Street, which was marked with a red “X". His finger continued to drift northwards till he returned to his location. He had a possible route he could follow. Looking to his watch it revealed it wasn't even late into the day, he had a good few hours of sunlight left. Don't let his safety be a problem for tomorrow. With his mind made up Owen stood up and reached to the cupboard above him and opened his final box of ammunition, fishing out six spare rounds he leant down and reloaded his rifle with two shots then slid the remaining four into the sling of his gun, he grabbed two more shot and placed them into the sling. “Blue, Charlie!" he called in a commanding tone.

The beta and omega raptor became alert and ready within seconds, the once snoozing Blue stood up in a shot and turned to face her alpha ready and waiting, the omega came trotting towards him waiting for instruction.

“Girls we're heading out!" 'Why're you talking like that to the raptors Owen?' he asked himself immediately, 'they can't understand you, stick to training.' “Girls we're moving!" He said getting back into learned phrases, Charlie barked with excitement and stepped aside allowing Owen to pass, the raptors followed him outside where Delta and Echo, whom had been marking their territory, now snoozed gently on the grass. “Delta Echo! We're moving!" he called out loudly. The two raptors were awake and alert and trotted after their alpha as he straddled his bike.

“Girls! Let's go!" He called, starting his bike and pulled on the throttle. The bike roared to life, Owen kicked the throttle and off he went the raptors following quickly behind him. 'Remember the route, stick to it.'

The route was long there was no way to avoid that so it would take time to get there, throughout the ride Owen's instincts were telling him this was a terrible idea, the bike was noisy and loud, it attracted attention, unwanted attention, anything could've been around him at any given point, more of those tiny armed horned demon looking things, the Rex or something else, he should've left the bike. But then if he did this would've taken far too long and he needed this done quickly. Did he have enough fuel in the damned thing? Far too many worries were coursing through Owen's mind, far too many concerns and he knew that. 'Clear your head marine, one problem at a time.' He told himself. Complete the mission then regroup, that's all he needed to do.

His mind followed the reverse of the route he'd taken with his body following not a second later closer and closer he got to his destination, either side of him the raptors kept pace, he hadn't forgotten Blue's injury from earlier with the horned carnivores, so kept the bike's speed lower allowing his beta to keep pace.

Things seemed to be going according to plan and usually that's where things went wrong, and that's when they did. Some time later Owen would curse how bad his luck had turned lately but for now, his mind was focussed on one thing; hastily avoiding the large tooth filled maw that suddenly had burst through the foliage to his right. Owen swerved his bike, a piece of debris getting trapped under the wheel sending the bike for a spin and him cartwheeling over the handle bars and landing on his back with a heavy thud and skidding for several metres before coming to a stop.

He could hear his girls shrieking and barking in rage as well as the bellows and roars of the new unknown dinosaur.

Adrenaline coursed through his veins, the sense of pain yet to register as he shakily pulled himself to his knees, he looked up to the long snouted large carnivore. The beast bellowed once more to the raptor squad that circled it snapping at it looking for an opening as the predator snapped back to defend itself and grab a quick meal. In the back of Owen's mind he recognised it, and all for the funniest reasons.

“It's called a what?" Owen asked with a large stupid grin on his face. Beside him Barry put her face into a single hand and shook his head with a groan.

“It's called a Baryonyx," Stanley the Baryonyx keeper replied looking at Owen with a curious look, “why?"

“A Baryonyx," Owen replied, “A Bary…"

“Are you making a black joke Owen, really?!" Barry snapped looking at him with a deadpanned look that was teetering towards annoyed. “With a dinosaurs name of all things."

“I didn't name it Barry," Owen held up his hands in surrender, “onyx." He whispered

Stanley looked between the two confused and Barry wouldn't speak to him for a good few hours afterwards. Later that day Charlie had gotten into Owen's lunch and gorged herself on his sandwiches and chips, Barry seemed rather proud of her as he was obviously innocent of any misdeed.

“God damn it Barry." Owen groaned out a painful laugh then pushed himself up onto his feet. Looking back his bike had slammed into a tree the front wheel was ruined. “Shit." His spares and tools were back at his place, reaching around his back he felt his rifle still in place, he pulled the weapon into his hands, the weapons had some severe scratches along its receiver and barrel, but seemed otherwise undamaged. He brought his rifle to bare just as something else came out of the literal woodwork. Owen didn't know this one but like the Baryonyx; it was big, it had sharp teeth and now Owen needed to get the hell out of there. “Oh sh…" Without finishing his thought Owen turned to run.

The predator reared itself back to strike moments before Echo jumped on top of the large beast and started to bite and claw at its hide, the large carnivore roared and shook itself trying to dislodge the velociraptor. Charlie joined her sister in attacking the much larger beast while Blue and Delta dealt with the Baryonyx.

Fight or flight. These things are much bigger than those horned things from before. Fight or flight?

The raptor jump off from their target having pissed it off enough, the large predator focuses on the two raptors who run into the woodland followed by the angered giant while Blue and Delta kept the attention of the Baryonyx.

Distracting it, luring the other away. Got to go! Move Owen move! Owen's instincts cried to move, he turned and ran down the trail he'd been following he wasn't too far now, as he could see the top of the ACU building not too far from him.

'Keep running, keep moving, left foot, right foot, left foot, keep going!' Half of his mind yelled at him. 'They're coming, getting closer. Keep going, they're right behind you!' Screamed the other half.

His lungs were starting to burn, his legs starting to ache, but there it was he could see it, the ACU building! Something heavy landed behind him with a dull heavy thud, then something else, then another rhythmically. Footsteps. He didn't know what, he wouldn't look back, but he could almost feel something large behind him breathing down on him. Owen inhaled deeply and pushed the reserves of his strength to their limits, with a burst of speed that would make even an Olympic runner impressed he rushed towards the door, his hand outstretched towards the handle readying to press down and push himself through.

His hand landed on the handle and didn't budge as Owen slammed right into the door. It was locked! God damn it! It was locked! The heavy footsteps grew closer. Owen turned seeing the large carnivore before him its jaws wide open.

Something wrapped around him from behind and suddenly Owen felt himself falling, seconds before the large teeth snapped shut around thin air. Owen hit the ground inside the ACU building, adrenaline still pumping through him. He just caught sight of a tall bald man in combat gear looking down at him.

“Nice to another friendly face."

Owen lost consciousness.
