Falling for a fox girl, part 2: Who owns the iPad Aoi found the night she drove the 1981 Toyota Corolla home. What happen to the planet Earth?

Night of the event, a trail in the Cascade Mountains Washington State.

Ray a twenty four year old human walked down the trail looking at the trees admiring the scenery that has one foot of snow. He inhaled the air loving the clean smell not smelling his breath from wearing a mask., "I am glad that I was given two weeks leave and I am spending them here in the mountains." The human thought to himself noting that the sun is starting to set making him pull out his pocket watch reading the time. Ray only tried a smart watch only for one day and didn't like it. He gave it to another member of his platoon. The human only has a Samsung Galaxy note 20 Ultra for a phone. Ray likes the S-pen which comes in handy if he needs to take any quick notes. He's a Corporal of the U.S. Army being a member of the 1st Cavalry Division and wondered why he has his uniform in the big back pack on his back. The human has enough supplies for a one week outing along with water purification tablets. Ray looks as a white light is descending near him and a shock wave knocked him on the ground.

Unknown time later.

He opened his eyes seeing that he's lying on his side seeing trees in front of him. Thinking to himself, the human did a check on himself., "I can still see and I am not screaming in pain meaning that wasn't a nuke. But whatever it was, it's blast knocked me on the ground but I didn't hear an explosion. Whatever it was, I am heading back to the trail head and back to my rental car." Ray thought to himself and turns around not knowing that he crossed a dirt road and something fell out of his back pack.

Minutes later, a blue colored 1981 Toyota Corolla stopped and a cat girl with copper colored hair pick up a white colored iPad.

Hours later.

The human noted that something is really wrong because he should have been at the trail head. He looked up, but his view is blocked by the canopy of the trees and they seemed different. Ray was about to lose it, but he calmed himself and closed his eyes and counted to ten. In front of the human is a break in the trees and he walked to it and looked up.

"I think I am not on Earth anymore." Ray said looking at the night sky seeing the two planets. He looked ahead seeing lights a quarter mile ahead of him and the area came more in focus. The human knew a military base when he saw one, putting his binoculars to his eyes and focused them., "I am close to a military base, better get the fuck out of here before I am spotted." Ray thought to himself turning around., "Shit." He whispered seeing a being wearing a battle dress set up with the curves of a human female, but with a tail like on a domestic cat. The human went on the ground when a white blue beam hit him.

The three cat girls with two fox girls walked up to the human. One of them looked closer to Ray seeing that he's a male., "Weird looking male, no ears or tail. No wonder he lived in the forest." Said one of them.

"Human from the planet Earth, the town nearby has one at a law enforcement base. Tina saw him early today while on leave, saw the police pull over his car and they took him in custody." Said another one.

The one in charge heard something in the com unit nodding., "We have orders to take him to base. Ok, pick him up and take him to the base." The fox girls picked up the human and started carrying him.

Later a room in the base.

Denise, a fox girl had the pack that was on the back of the human male. She figured out the buckles and ropes that kept the pack closed. The fox girl carefully removed the contents of the pack putting the items in groups on a large table.

The cat girl with the fox girl had a pad that she wrote on the items to inventory them. She saw packets of food wrapped in foil packets and a clear small jar with white tablets. Lori continued to write what Denise said and saw a shirt in a green and black camo pattern with a pair of pants being the same thing.

"This human is military and that's an infantry uniform." The fox girl said looking at the patches on the shirt. She found a wallet and rifle thru it taking out thick pieces of paper with numbers on them. Denise held one that had the number twenty on it reading the writing on it., "Currency, and ID, one says Washington drivers license and the other says U.S. Army on it." The fox girl says laying the wallet and the items that were in it on the table. She places the last items on the table and examines them.

Lori looked at the stuff on the table looking at the different stuff putting two and two together., "He was hiking at the forest on Earth from the looks of the stuff in the pack. He must have been near a shelter because I don't see one in..Oh." The cat girl said watching the fox girl putting one last item on the table.

Denise started to pull the items from the thin material bag seeing stuff that will be made into a portable shelter., "Ok, I am calling the platoon leader to have her look this stuff over." The two women walked out of the room after locking the door.

A holding cell, the next day.

The first thing the human felt is that sensation as if one of his limbs asleep. But his whole body felt like that. Ray opened his eyes seeing that he's in a holding cell from what he saw. He wasn't angry over of what these beings did; he would have done the same thing. The human relaxed and looked around noting that his cell is the same size as one on Earth. He didn't move a muscle and just used his eyes without moving his head.

The cell door opened and three of those females walked in looking at him.

Ray examined them seeing that two of them had really furry ears with bushy tails with white tips. He looked at the last one with a velvety texture on the ears with a tail like off a domestic cat., "Ok, two of them are fox girls and the third is a cat girl. I just walked into a Japanese animie or a manga comic." The human thought to himself as the women walked up to him pointing weird looking guns at him making him raise his hands.

"Come with us, our commanding officer wants to talk with you." Said one of the fox girls gesturing for him to follow her.

The human left the cell staying quiet and followed the fox girl not daring to try anything. He's on a different planet in a different galaxy because there are no planets near Earth that can support life. Ray remained silent as the fox girl stopped at a door knocking on it.

A female voice said., "Enter."

The fox girl entered the office and stood at attention saying., "Major Rinoa, I brought the alien as per your orders."

He held his tongue when the fox girl called him an alien and looked at the Major doing a double take.

She's another fox girl with copper colored hair with metallic blue eyes looking at him. Her breast size will be counted as medium size to large. The fox girl cleared her throat replying., "I was going to get you earlier, but this morning an unknown craft crashed near a small town where a bunch of my kind live at." The fox girl said placing a device that looked like his iPad on her desk showing a picture of a jet airliner crashed in a forest., "Do you know what this craft is?" Rinoa asked grinning showing her long canines.

Ray did a small shudder at the sight of the long canines and hid the body movement by glancing at the picture. He saw the tail art of the airline recognizing the company and saw the model number of the aircraft near the vertical stabilizer., "Airbus A-320 neo, a civilian airliner used for transporting passengers. How many survived the crash maam?" The human asked the fox girl seeing her grin at him again.

"So my guards caught a member of the human military. Other than showing me respect of my rank, there's how you're standing, hair style and build. There are survivors, eighty out of one hundred." The fox girl said looking at the human.

The human knew if he was a prisoner, he will be interrogated in an aggressive way. But these personal are more curious than scared of him. He wondered what cause a jet airliner crash nearby, he felt sad of the lost lives that perished in the crash. Ray knew that the airline is owned by both American and Caribbean investors, but he is still upset of the lost of lives. The human wondered who or what brought him here with an Airbus on this planet, along with an unknown guy who was driving an old Toyota. He decided to answer any questions asked to him, hope to find out what happen to Earth. Ray cleared his throat., "It seems I am stuck on this planet and I am away from my chain of command. So, I'll answer any questions you asked me and I'll try to answer any question you ask me maam."

Rinoa looked at the human and nodded., "Can you show me where this Earth is at if I get you a map. After all, we're an interstellar species and have the means of crossing the galaxy."

Ray replied., "My iPad has a lot of stuff in its memory, it's a rare 512 gig capacity." He describes the device and told them where it is in his back pack. The human sighs of one of the fox girls shaking her head.

"That area was opened when we picked you up so it might have fallen out. Can you show what route you took before we spotted you?" Asked the fox girl standing next to him.

"Yes, just one question, I was roughly a quarter mile when I spotted this place. So when did you spotted me?" He asked.

"When you exited the woods, our sensors picked you up and we sent a team to catch you. We caught you because another human showed up yesterday and was picked by law enforcement. So he's being question by them and you are being questioned by us. After we do some talking, I'll have you go with a squad and see if we can find this iPad." Said the Major and she grinned at the human.

A hospital at the city.

A pain woke him up and he noted that he's restrained making him open his eyes. A hi-tech room is the human surroundings and he saw his carry on pack on a table near him, plus some tubes in his right arm. The door opened a nice looking woman with long black hair walked in, but something was off on her., "She has ears on the top of her head and a bushy black tail with a white tip. A fox girl and a nice looking one too." He thought to himself as the fox girl walk to him holding a device that looks like an Apple iPad.

"So, you're awake human." Said the fox girl walking up to him waving a device that looks like something from Star Trek over his body.

Steve smelled the scent of mint on the fox girl as she looked him over. He looked at her eyes that are such a dark blue they almost looked purple due to the metallic sheen in the eye coloring. The human would count the fox girl a pleasant hand full from what he can see at her bust line. Steve looked over to his carry on pack on the table seeing that it looks like it never had been opened.

She saw him look at the pack and look back at him., "What is in there?" The fox girl asked looking at him.

"A few personal items and my Micro Soft surface pro." Answered the human studying the fox girl saying that she would be counted as petite on Earth. Steve knew that he's no longer on Earth because of the view out of the window is showing the sky with the two planets. He sighs and looked at the fox girl who's twitching her fox ears., "My name is Steve, and I use to live at Lynnwood Washington."

The fox girl walked closer to his bed removing the tubes from his arm applying a spray that stopped the blood seeping from the puncture wounds on his arm. She looked at him with her sexy eyes., "My name is Nikki, and I have the authority to remove your restraints. Do I have your word that you will not try anything?" Nikki asked still looking at him.

"You have my word; I won't hurt you or try to escape. Where will I go? Seems like I am no longer on my home planet and I am all by myself with no one. What are you doing?" The human asks as the fox girl climbs on to his bed sitting on his lower abdomen bending over gazing at him. Steve watches as Nikki unbuttons her shirt showing her light tan skin with a white colored bra covering her breasts. He guesses that she's between a B cup and C cup. To the human, petite women are cuter with smaller breasts, not enhanced breasts that make them look weird. Steve bites his lower lip as Nikki unhooks her bra exposing her breasts that are firm.

"What's wrong Steve, cat got your tongue? I am thirty one and a very lonely silver fox. Would you be my friend?" Asked the fox girl looking at him with her shirt opened and her cute breasts exposed being less than six inches in front of his face.

"Sure, I'll be your friend, remove my restraints and I'll boot up my computer and I'll show you where I am from." Steve said watching Nikki put her bra back on and buttons her shirt. The human replied., "Just to let you know, I am forty and I hope I am not too old for you." He said as she was about to undo the first restraint, then she grabs his chin and he felt her other hand go down his pants fondling his family jewls. Steve saw her smile at him showing her long canines.

"Hmm, you're the right size Steve. Got to tell you something about us foxes or vixens. We're known as nymphos or crave sex with males. Now let's remove those restraints and boot up this computer of yours." Nikki said removing the restraints and watches as Steve gets off the bed going to the table opening up the pack. The fox girl saw the human remove a gray colored thin book opening it. She saw him look at a black colored piece of glass with a key board get placed on the table.

Steve hooked up his small mouse to the surface pro and pushed the power button seeing that the battery is at 96%. The human watches as Windows 10 booted up showing his personal wall paper with the drawing of an anthropomorphic vixen. He felt Nikki behind him due to that mint smell from her.

"That looks like a vixi, another race; they're on the planet near us. The race is mostly female; they reproduce by mating with males from other species with our males and cat guys. They're ok, but more feral than us and have a tendency of claiming a male they take a fancy to. So you might not want to run into one, you're really good looking and there's a good chance that one will fall in love with you. I'll tell you about they're anatomy at a later time and there are some on this planet, but for now the best thing for you is to stick around with me." The fox girl said looking at the screen on the computer. She counted the device old and archaic from what she can see on the screen. Nikki saw a program open showing the view of the galaxy and an area zoomed in showing a solar system with planets orbiting a sun. The fox girl knew that system and pushed an area on her watch.

"And that's my home system; Earth is the third planet from the sun. Battery has two hours left and I'll need to recharge it." The human looks at her holding the AC adapter showing it to the fox girl. "In two hours, somehow I'll be needing 110 volts AC 60 hertz going to these two connectors or this unit will no longer be functional."

"That won't be a problem human." Said a different female voice.

He turned seeing a cat girl walking in flipping a strand of black colored hair. She looked at him with green eyes. "My name is Carmen; my race has ways to power your tech, so putting 110 volts into that adapter is no problem." Said the cat girl looking at the surface pro with interest. She looked at him with a grin. "Thank you for showing us where your planet is at. Personal from our government wants to take a look at your planet. They want to know why a human drove a car here and an aircraft crashed near here killing twenty humans."

The human nodded as the cat girl looked at the Milky Way galaxy and have him do a few zoom outs and zoomed in at a few areas. He guessed it must be a soap or shampoo product that causes that mint smell on these females. Steve doesn't blame these females wanting to know why humans just suddenly showed up on their planet. The human continued to look at the screen on his surface pro smelling the mint smell and feeling large breasts pressing on his back knowing it was the cat girl Carmen behind him.

"You know something; my motor pool supervisor would love to take a look at that device of yours. She lives in an old warehouse full of machinery and odd items. Aoi has a car called a Toyota Corolla from your planet. So what car do you drive?" Asked the cat girl looking over his shoulder gazing at the screen.

"A 2000 Dodge Durango, a type of SUV. So it seems that the fox girl is a type of medical person, what are you?" Steve asked Carmen feeling her breath blow on his ear.

"Law enforcement, plus military reservist. I got to let my military bosses of your computer so they can go to Earth and find out what happen to it. I'll be by tomorrow morning to pick you up to go for a ride." The cat girl said and walked out of the room.

Nikki shut the door and turned a key in the door flipping a switch. The fox girl grinned showing her long canines unbuttoning her shirt and removing her bra showing her small breasts with dark tan small areolas. She removed her pants and panties exposing her petite body with that light tan being even all over her body.

He undressed and lay on the bed seeing her climb on the bed and looked at her body again. The human saw that this fox girl has another vulpine organ other than the ears and tail. Steve looked at the shaved canine vulva lowering onto his erect member. He lets' out a sigh as his member slid inside the fox girl causing her to let out a fox whine.

Current time, Everett Washington planet Earth.

William climbs out of the wreckage of his apartment building looking at the sky seeing that the sky is a reddish pink and the sun is barely shining thru the clouds. He looks around seeing nobody around. The twenty five year old human male with brown hair finished getting out of the rubble of his apartment building.

"Been stuck in there in the last couple of days, what the fuck happened?" He thought to himself and started walking down highway 99. William looked at his mechanical pocket watch seeing that the time is 2:15 in the afternoon. The human knew while winding his pocket watch that the road will have slightly heavy traffic, but there's only wrecked cars everywhere. Even if he could get his car, there's no way he could drive these roads due to the wreckage everywhere. The human cussed to himself as he walked down the road.

Over the planet Earth, same moment.

The fox guy looked at the main screen eyeing the planet that has a lot of large areas burning at the main continents. He twitched his brown fox ears looking at the cat guy next to him with black hair. "So, what do you think happen? Did they finally nuke each other?"

"I don't think so Eric, the ships' sensors isn't picking up fallout from nuclear blasts. Must be something else that did this. We need to do a scan the planet and have a team land on the surface to pick up any survivors. Right now, the planet is going to be ruined because the Van Allen belts are not filtering all of the solar radiation, plus they're failing and the surface of the planet will be a desert soon. So we got find out what happen before any ships from the home world shows up." Said the cat guy shaking his head looking at once was one of the prettiest planets in this area of the galaxy.

"So far the home world doesn't know about this planet Kenny. But you're right; we better check things out because a scout ship might have picked up that energy spike like we did and a ship from the home world might be heading here. So get a team together, start scanning and find any clues of what happen here." Eric said staring at the planet.

Eric and Kenny are a group of cats and foxes who prefer to live free. They count themselves as free citizens enjoying life and does dangerous stuff because at the home world, males due to their rarity aren't allow doing dangerous stuff. So one day, they stolen a destroyer that was in the process of being decommissioned, they decided to cruise the galaxy and live free and explore the galaxy.

On the home world, Eric and Kenny are known as thieves and pirates. They have a bunch of males with them along with a bunch of female vixis.

The fox guy is thinking when a female voice asked. "So, what is my job captain?"

He turned seeing something like a large female fox standing on her hind legs looking at him. The fox guy studied the vixi seeing long white head hair that went to the middle of her back. Eric knew for a few seconds a human known a furry might be taken aback for a bit because Alise does have some of the human like features of an anthropomorphic vixen.

She has a more feral appearance looking like a large regular fox standing on their rear legs. The female vixi doesn't wear clothing; Alise is naked except for wearing a bikini top and a loin cloth covering her vulva. "Plus you can see her four extra breasts if you spend more time looking at her. So far she hasn't taken a fancy to a crewmember because most of them are mated and they don't like her white head hair." The fox guy thought to himself and cleared his throat. "You're going with the landing team because you proven to be a good tracker. But listen to the team leader or I won't allow you on a mission again."

The vixi grinned showing her sharp teeth blinking her copper green colored cat like eyes. "No problems captain, I'll listen to the team leader." She said walking off the bridge with her strange walk due to her digit grade feet.

"Are you sure that she should be allowed to go on a mission. She hasn't taken a mate and vixi are still two generations away from being a wild fox." Kenny said looking at his friend and lover.

Most of the crew members of this ship are either gay or bi-sexual. Some males regarding their sexual preference don't like being forced to make themselves available for mating with females. They rather stick with one female or partner and that's it, so they join Stan and Kenny's' group because they have more freedoms. Plus vixis' aren't allowed to join the military or allowed to be crewmembers on a ship. Stan looked at his lover. "I am testing her; unlike the home world I am giving her a chance. If Alise does a good job, I'll let her go on more missions, she screws up; I'll put her back at her old job in the kitchen."

Kenny nodded agreeing with Stan, that's one thing he loves about Stan. He gives people chances where the people on the home world don't. The cat guy walks off the bridge to check around the ship and have a talk with Alise.

Hour's later, highway 99.

The human walked down the highway looking at the setting sun as it disappeared behind the Olympic Mountains. He shivered as the sky darkens making him decide that he should find a place to stay inside while it's dark and wait till morning. William saw a glow from the East and looked at the darkening sky seeing that something is different. Heighten senses is causing shivers going down his back making the human turn around looking. He saw nothing behind him but this feeling is still bugging him. "Better go find a place to shelter in till morning, but what happen to the planet?" William said a little too loud.

"Don't know human, be good boy and come with me." Said a female voice sounding a little strange.

He smelled a scent that he smelled a few years back when he visited a friend who has a pet fox. The human heard steps approaching behind him and he started running.

Alise ran chasing the human making her grin. For some reason the vixi loved chasing running prey. She decided to match the preys' speed because she knew she runs faster than this prey. Alise ran and did a wild fox yell real loud.

William stumbled when whatever is chasing him yelled like a wild fox. The human shivered as the running strange sounding foot falls came closer behind him making him turn his head. Chasing him is a large fox running behind him on its four legs and he tripped.

The vixi knew that this prey is scared due to the scent coming from her prey. She slowed and saw the prey turned its head to look at her. Alise sighs when her prey tripped, but she had her fun. The vixi pounced on her prey to claim it.

The human went to get up when a very large fox jumped on him. He went to grab the neck of the fox with his right hand because his left is pinned behind his back and he is in the process of freeing it, when the fox grabbed his right hand in a vise like grip making him look closer. But this fox has hands and very strong, plus it talked to him. "And she's a female." He said out loud.

"Yes I am female human and now I am taking you in custody." Alise said pulling the human on to his feet and started taking him to her group.

He looked at this vixen while the sky is getting dark. William noted this fox is standing a little shorter than him on her hind legs. The human saw that she's not wearing any clothing but a bikini top and loin cloth between her legs. He saw a group of humans and was about to say something, but the sight of ears on the top of their heads and tails made him hold his tongue.

"Alise, found a survivor?" Asked one of beings.

"Yes Gregg, found him a block down the street. I did stay within the parameters you specified at the start of this mission." She said in an excited tone.

The cat guy chuckles looking at the human. He saw a male in his early twenties with a thin build finding him cute. Gregg looked around shaking his head and looks back at the human sighing. "So far, you're the only survivor in this area." The cat guy started to say..

"What happen to my planet!? Did you people do an orbital bombardment from space?!" The human yelled.

"No we did not; I think you humans destroyed yourselves by a weapons test. Whatever it was, the Van Allen belts were damaged and soon your planet is going to be a desert." Said the cat guy and an alarm went off on him making look at the device. "Shit, long range sensors just picked up a scout ship from the home world. Looks like this conversation has to finish at the ship." The group left and William is dragged to a shuttle parked nearby.

Minutes later, a shuttle bay of the destroyer Titan.

He followed the cat guy named Gregg hearing an announcement."All personal report to action stations. A Nemesis class scout ship has been picked up by our long range sensors. It would be here in forty five minutes. All hands get ready for a jump from this system."

William saw that this ship has been in service for a long time from what he saw from the condition of some fixtures he saw and the wear on the deck. He's put in a room that looked like a cafeteria and placed on a seat.

"Stay here and don't go wandering off, if you need to do some business, go there." Gregg said pointing at a door with a familiar symbol. The cat guy walked off going thru a different door.

The human looked around seeing no one around. He looked at a different area seeing that female fox who caught him at a counter working on something. William watched her and she looked at him blowing a kiss at him grinning. The human looked at her sticking his tongue at her making it do a wiggle. He will later regret doing that gesture to a female vixi. William looked at the area and that fox wasn't at the counter. "Must of went to do something else, oh well, I hope she stops by because I need someone to talk to." The human said and that scent of a fox assaulted his senses.

"So, do you want to mate with me? I do find you cute and that gesture you just did is what a male vixi does if he wants to mate with a vixen." Said Alise sitting next to him.

He looks at her looking at him with those copper green colored cat like eyes. The human saw that she has an athletic build with breast size he counts as medium. William admits he finds her in the cute category with that white colored head hair. "But she looks like a fox from Earth being the size of a petite woman." He thought to himself examining the green colored bikini top and looked down seeing the extra four small breasts at her abdominal area. The human look back at the fox who is looking at him. "Uh, my name is William and before we get off at the wrong foot. What is your name?"

Alise chuckles and grinned at William. "My name is Elise, I am a vixi. I am from the planet Hai, near the humanoid home world. That's what the personal on this ship prefers to be called because they discovered Earth by accident five years ago." She turns looking at a cat guy and a fox guy walk in the cafeteria holding hands and they kissed each other sitting across the room. The vixi looks at the human grinning. "That's one of the reasons this ship avoids ships from their home world. Some of these beings love the same sex as each other putting it polite terms. That's why I am without male companionship, most males have a partner and they prefer only one partner to show love to."

William shrugs and replies. "On Earth, those people prefer the term gay life style or alternative life style. I have no problems with gays, a few of my best friends are gay and they treated me better than hetros. Myself, I'll try to make friends with a few crew members, but I prefer sleeping with females, as I said, I have no problem with gays." The human said looking at the vixi sitting next to him. "So why are you on this ship?"

The vixi inhales saying. "My people are still counted as primitive or uncivilized because we prefer medium rare meat and dress like this." She gestures to herself and laughs. "My people can use their ships as only passengers because they don't want people like me as crew members. The only group who will have me as a crew member is a group of what these beings call pirates and outlaws. So only criminals are the only ones would hire a vixi as a crew member who happens to be one of the ships' cooks, ah don't worry, I half to wear a set of thin coveralls so I won't shed in the food I am cooking."

The human thinks and grabs the vixi gently kissing her. He feels her resist for a second and her strong hands grabs his head returning his kiss. William feels light headed as Alise pushes him on to the floor getting on top on him. The human gets released making him look at the slim vixi on him. He looks at her looking at him while she made him rub the four smaller breasts on her navel. William can barely see them in the white fur. A black furred hand makes him look down between her legs. The human watches as a black furred hand looking like the one off a human with small claws instead of fingernails lifts up the loin cloth. He sees a canine vulva in the white fur between her legs.

"Be patient William, I get off in a few hours. I'll share my stateroom with you and I taken a fancy to you. I found out from fox guys and cat guys that mating with female vixi is a pleasant experience." She said to him and someone cleared their throat.

"Remember the rule regarding some antics in the cafeteria. Mating is only allowed in staterooms Alise. I heard you did real well on the mission, so don't ruin it for yourself by breaking a rule. "Said Stan walking up to the couple.

Alise and William sat on chairs while Stan sat across from them. The fox guy looked the human over knowing that this human will not be going to sleep until the vixi is satisfied. "Sorry, due to the limited time on your home planet. We couldn't find out what happen causing that incident on the Earth. The only clue is that it might have been a type of test that went south. I wish we had more time to do a more thorough examination, but a scout ship was an hour away from Earth and we had to leave. We're not on the best of terms with the home world due to a few rules we broke." Stan said to William and replied. "So, stay here until Alise is done with her shift and spend the night with her and I'll have Gregg take you to go thru the indoctrination to be a crewmember on this ship. Don't worry William, it's an easy process, might take a few hours. Then we will find a job for you to do on my ship." He turns to the vixi. Raven looked them over seeing that they're wearing ok gear for hiking and are using hiking sticks, but fancy ones made in a factory over the real one he picked up at the trail head lying on the ground. He stopped walking and cleared his throat to get the females attention so he won't startle them.

One of the women looked at him. "Oh, how far is the viewing area?"

He pointed behind himself replying. "One hundred yards around the bend. I think something large exploded because the trees are flattened like those trees in Russia back in 1908 at Tunguska." The human said and continued walking back to the trail head. Raven knew that in forty minutes, he would in his 1964 Austin Healy driving South.

But a series of events would cause those females to over look the human male due to extent of the damage in this area. It took a call from their ship to go get that human male.

"Ground unit, what are you doing? That male human is almost three miles south and is moving at fifty miles an hour." Said Cindy on the com unit.

The three females ran to their shuttle and took off looking for him. Tifa, a fox girl with brownish red hair looked around and on the road is a small human vehicle being a dark green in color (British Racing green). She looked at the small car driving down the road with the driver exposed to the elements. "It's real cold and that crazy human is exposed to that cold air driving." Tifa said watching as the human grabbed a container taking a drink, scratched his crotch and saw him grab a device sticking between the seats moving it back.

"Can't he hear our ship behind him?" Asked a cat girl near her just watching this human driving down the road like nothing is going on.

The fox girl shakes her head watching the small Earth car drive. "Launch a drone with a scientific package to fly in that area to do a study. We'll follow this human, I have a feeling that he might be pulling over soon. Driving in cold weather and drinking a lot will cause him to pull over to urinate." Tifa said watching the pretty car wondering what it's like to be in a situation driving a vehicle exposed to the elements. A couple of minutes later, the car left the freeway pulling to a medium brown building with a twin building across this wide road. She laughs as the human walked to the building. Minutes later, Raven walked out of the rest area building to his car and stopped. Parked next to his car is a craft that looked like one of the shuttles from Star Trek. Standing near the rear bumper is one of those women from the trail looking at his car. Another one of them is crouched near the passenger door looking at the front wheel. His Austin Healy Sprite is one of the cars built with the wire wheels and a woman is looking at one of the wire wheels. The human knew that these women aren't from Earth do to the shuttle parked near his car. "So, where are you ladies from? I know you're not from Earth because none of the nations on Earth can't build what's near my car or that's an experimental craft from area 51 or Lockheed Skunk Works." Raven said and slowly walked to his car. He knew that if he tried something, these females will do something to him or worse. The human stopped walking as the female at the rear bumper did something causing a brownish red bushy tail appear behind and pulled off the hood exposing a set of ears at the top of her head.

Tifa grinned showing her long canines. "You're right human; I am from an M class planet N52055. For some reason, our planet is called by letters and numbers, plus it's a two day trip from our world to this system. My race travels by jumping systems by generating a worm hole. Something happen to this planet and we're trying to find out what caused it. Can you go with us to our ship?"

The human chuckles looking at her greenish gray colored eyes finding her cute. In his forty six years of life he never gotten close to being married or had a steady girlfriend. Raven got in his car and drove it into the shuttle. He got out of his car and walked down the ramp to the three females and the other two pulled off their hoods. The human saw another fox girl, the other one is a cat girl. Raven followed the females to the front of the shuttle and got in.

The fox girl who taken a liking to the human male got behind a set of controls and the shuttle climbed in altitude. Tifa looked at Raven seeing that he's looking at the view. She could tell that he has a lot of anger due to that she can smell it. "So what did you think happen?" The fox girl asked watching the humans' body movements.

"Some idiot tried an experiment and it back fired screwing everything up. It might sound heartless, but it serves them right. He said in a slight angry tone.

Raven made a mental note from what he saw; this craft is designed for short trips, not real extended missions. "So what is the endurance of that ship? I can tell it's not made for long missions." Tifa knew that there's more to this human than meets the eye. "Let me guess, you're a sci-fi geek." The fox girl said seeing the human nodding.

"I use to be in the United States Navy and I do know from the size of a vessel, I kind of know the endurance of a vessel before it has to return to base or dock with a larger one for resupply. This human might seem like a caveman to you ladies, but I do know some stuff. As for what happen to the planet Earth, I am a mechanic, not a weapons researcher who comes up with new ways to kill other people." Raven said to Tifa and he told her his name.

"I am first Lt. Tifa of the humanoid Navy. That is a Nemesis class scout ship, its design for short missions. A larger ship should be here in a few days; right now its crew is being embarked on it. That class of ship has a maintenance crew on it most of the time, but when it's needed for a mission like this. The crew is called to report for duty." The fox girl said as the shuttle went inside the scout ship.

The human figured out that this race doesn't have a full time military like Earth. He guessed that the planet is at a level of peace and most of the military must be reservists. Raven felt the shuttle land in the space. The human is gently lead out of the shuttle and found himself in a space that has the shuttle taking up most of the space. He rather admired Tifas' piloting skills in putting a shuttle in such a small space. Raven is grabbed by Tifa and is moved to a door to exit the space.

Minutes later after going thru decontamination and issued clean coveralls. He is walked to the bridge of the ship seeing a group of females looking at stations eyeing the readouts. Raven decided to be quiet and watch, because he didn't know what happen. Plus as the way he thinks, the human didn't screw stuff up and he shouldn't be blamed for it. In his opinion, he was happy driving for a charter company earning enough to have an apartment and living in comfort.

Cindy looked at the human male who just walked on her bridge. The fox girl saw an average height male slightly overweight looking to be in his forties. She heard from her shuttle pilot that she wouldn't get nice answers because this human male kind of looked out for himself. Cindy grinned at the human. "So it seems that you have a big chip on your shoulder and you seem to have a loathing for your race. Just to let you know, we count only two Billion humans left on your planet. How does it make you feel?"

Raven scratched his crotch and shrugged."I am a mechanic, not a weapons researcher who dreams up new ways to kill people. In the Navy, I was mechanic and operator in the engine rooms on ships. As for the feelings of fellow humans, I liked some and loathe some of them. Feel sorry for the ones who are gone, but some of them didn't deserve what happen to them. People like me don't like being at the receiving end the consequences for other peoples screw ups. I act the way I do because I had some dream jobs after I left the Navy, but I wasn't the member of a certain religion, family, level of money my family had and I have a penis and balls between my legs. The fox girl admired the humans' bluntness and had to continue to look, scan and find out what happen. Cindy knew that a certain decommissioned destroyer was here and now it's gone. "The yard that was dismantling that destroyer didn't get to the scanners before it was stolen and we will never sneak up on it because all of its systems were upgraded two years before fleet decided to decommission it." The fox girl thought to herself making sure to report that a certain ship was at this planet before they showed up. Cindy looked at Raven deciding to let Tifa look after him because she's too busy to keep an eye on him. She'll get some alone time at another time.

A few days later, locker room on the scout ship.

Raven stripped down to the skin and wrapped a towel around his waist and walked towards the showers. He always timed stuff so he doesn't have any company when taking a shower. The human has no ill feelings to these cat and fox girls, but being at the age of forty plus, he doesn't have the quick reload times when he was in his twenties. Raven went to one of the rear showers and removed his towel and started washing himself.

Cindy decided that it is time to have a talk with that Raven. Her crew has rescued another twenty humans in this area, five were human women. The fox girl noted that the human with a chip on his shoulder isn't interested in them. So Cindy talked on her com unit. "Locate guest Raven."

A reply came a second later. "The human known as Raven is at the enlisted locker room showers."

The fox girl walked to the locker room hearing someone singing. "Smoke on the water, the fire in the sky." The fox girl shook her head entering the space realizing that song was on a humans' device known as a smart phone.
