Author's Note:

Welcome back to SoFurry! The following short fiction is taken from a RPG session I had with a dear friend who inspire me to be the best version of myself. So it is fitting that this will be the first story of my writing (re-)debut. While this short story contains adult scenes, it is heavily atmospheric. This flash fiction is a 5 minute read (1500 words). Any constructive feedback or comments are always welcome.

Gaoth was far from impressed. The lithe mutt winced at the sight of a traveller unable to hold his liquor.

"Wh-eh... where yew cuties goin...?" the black furred barbarian exclaimed, wiping his snout as Gaoth tipped toed out of the bustling tavern.

It had been many moons since Whale Landing saw lanterns lit up and hung around the town's square. The scent of grilled meat accompanied by the merry shouts of villagers filled the cold air. A spiral of tables trailed around the large fire pit as embers fluttered up to join the starry night sky. Alegre - the tavern's son - played on his lute. The fragrance of cheap mead filled the mutt's nostrils while the bulky orca plucked on his strings.

There was a dull ache that bubbled up in his chest. Perhaps it was the off-putting sight of a male with tall tales and low tolerance. Perhaps it was the realisation that such merriment was last felt in a distant memory. The black and white mutt dressed in common sailor attire decided to catch a moment of peace, away from the flickering excitement. His bare paws led him along the shore road towards the piers. The cries of seagulls accompanied the rhythmic hushes of the waves. The moon mirrored in lifeless grey eyes from half-eaten fishes. Its rot clung onto his nose. Shivers clawed down his spine into this tail. The sea is bitter Gaoth lamented, crossing his arms to press some heat against his tender heart.

'The Lonely Maiden' creaked against the pier tugging on moaning ropes. Its algae-covered hull glistened as the water clashed against it. Behind each worn plank lay a chamber Gaoth was intimately familiar with. Each porthole he had visited at night gazing into the deep ocean, burned deep in his mind. Its white sails tucked away into bundles with knots that had blistered Gaoth's paws.

The mutt sighed longingly at the ship. Her usual grandeur hidden under a sheen of silver. Whale Landing Guards, whether on land or on seas, recruited disgruntled fishers by offering them better pay and fattier food. Gaoth never liked the taste of game, never liked the taste of disloyalty to their ship, to their captain. Life wasn't always this grey. There were days the deck would be covered with flapping fish - the sweet scent early in the warm morning was as expected as the rising sun itself. He remembered days where he would have been content calling himself a shipmate of 'The Lonely Maiden'. Alas, it was only during this famine that she lived up to her name. What was once a mighty fishing vessel turned into a mere carrier for cold whale fats. Each morning, her deck echoed louder. Each noon, a vast cold blueness stretched not only across the horizon but also into his heart. Each evening, lame masts cried out as only Gaoth and Storm remained to wrap away her wings. How could the mutt abandon the sea? Abandon the life he forged? Abandon Storm... A gentle chilled breeze carried Gaoth back into his frigid body. He felt a building pressure beneath his stomach. Maybe he should have slowed down with his drinks during the barbarian's lofty tales.

A yellow stream steamed against a stone wall of the small warehouse. The splatter rang into the darkness. In the corner of his eye, a figure silently approached him. Before Gaoth could turn his head to investigate further, a warmth pressed up against his backside.

"Eyes forward."- a rumbling voice hushed into his ear.

"Sto-..."

"That's Captain for you, sailor!" - a hard bulge hit his rear, forcing his tail to curl sideways making way for him.

"Aye... Captain."

Rough paws slid along the sides of his hip, claws parted his fur, towards the mutt's own growing member. How small Gaoths' own paws seemed as his captain cupped them in his. The thick tanned digits guided the mutt's member out of its sheath. His knot expanded against the chill night's air as a greying snout planted itself on Gaoth's shoulder.

"What a beauty." a low rumbling murmur.

"C-captain..." a soft unsure exclamation.

A tip pressed against Gaoth's hole before its girth gradually stretched him out. The panting sailor raised his rear pushing against his Captain's groin. Paws, hardened by burning ropes and crates, caressed the mutt's length which dribbled pre down its underside onto black knuckles.

"I saw you eyeing that stranger." A sudden thrust accentuated the end of his statement, forcing the entire tip into Gaoth's quivering ring. The blunt rob pushed up against the sailor's velvet insides.

"I-I..." Another rough thrust parted his hole further. The dog let out a whimper as he felt a tongue run across the side of his neck.

"The next words better be 'Aye Captain', Sailor..." the low hushed voice commanded.

"...A-aye Captain..." Hot waves of breaths and sighs escaped both muzzles.

"Good boy. Now, let me show you what I do with mutinous mutts like you..."

Gaoth's hindpaws pointed inwards, leaning on his clawed toes trying to lift his entire rear to accommodate his Captain's mast. Large mud-covered boots at the dog's sides planted itselves firmly on the ground as the larger canine hilted his cock into Gaoth. A bulbous throbbing knot tried to squeeze against his hole while the larger male's oozing tip was pressed against a flush quivering prostate.

The mutt felt so full - a deep heat emanated from his rear as he shot a few strands of pre against the wall. His Captain pulled back until only his tip remained in Gaoth's eager entrance before slamming the entire length back into him, forcing the knot to stretch the prepared hole further. A yelp escaped from the mutt before his muzzle was clamped shut by his Superior. Wet lips shushed into the dog's ears before being given playful bites. The Sailor pushed back, matching the long and forceful thrusts. A dazed look washed over Gaoth's face as his Captain's hanging tongue drooled onto his shoulder. Each thrust spread him out more. Each pull fuelled their needs until one last firm smack tied both men together. The knot forced itself flush against the dog's love button, pulsating against his warm velvet surface. Gaoth's muffled moans squeezed from between his Captain's fingers as he unloaded strings of cum onto the rough pads of his lover. A familiar warmth spread from his rear deep into his body. Storm raised his semen-covered paw to Gaoth's muzzle and was met with an eager lapping tongue cleaning his pads and between his fingers. The larger male felt his sailor's sphincter trembling around his knot and he supported Gaoth's weakening body.

"We could leave this place." Storm whispered after a few tender moments, still in the midst of his afterglow. The mutt's ears perked up before he tilted his head to touch his lover's lupine muzzle with his.

"W-wh..."

"I'm tired, Gaoth" Tired of empty nets. Tired of coming back to disappointed faces..."

"W-Where would we even g-..."

"Anywhere! Far away from his wretched village." A gentle kiss fell onto the side of Gaoth's muzzle. The heat from Storm's embrace enveloped the smaller dog. "To a secret place only we know. Where the sun is hot and the shades are cool. Where each day we feast like kings, and where each night we fu-..."

"S-storm..." whined Gaoth.

"I love you, my sailor."

"I love you, my captain."
