Daniel, a human from the centre of the city, journeys to the outskirts to search for a missing friend without telling anyone. There, he meets someone who might have some information he could use; or so the mysterious stranger says.

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

The second part of the trilogy! Looking back at it, I'm incredibly happy with how I made the intro to this story. It almost made feel like a 'real' writer. I think of the three parts I did the best with this one. In fact, this is personally my favourite story I've made. That's just me though, like choosing a favourite pet I guess. Though I haven't actually read it in a while myself! I'm very curious to hear what you thought about this story, so please feel free to leave a comment if you're so inclined ^v^

Deep within the urban suffocation of the city filled with poorly designed narrow streets bathed in the glow of the sunset, a computer repair shop was preparing to close up for the day. Daniel and Tanya were the last ones out, so it fell to them to switch off the lights, put away the tools and lock the front doors leading out onto the bustling street. ".....so if they don't get stock by next week Mr. Sarek won't get his tablet in time for-", Tanya stopped and turned to her colleague. "Hey! You listening?" Normally Daniel was the chatty one between the two of them, but he had been disturbingly quiet the last couple of days. He had a nervous energy about him and checked his phone periodically, a slightly more disappointed look on his face every time he put it back down. "What? Oh, right", Daniel came out of his daze and noticed her concerned aura. "Sorry, It's just.....been a long day". He forced a smile and put his hands into his coat pockets. "Can't wait to just get into bed and pass out, you know what I mean? Heh..." Tanya crossed hear arms after shifting her carry bag into a more comfortable position. She looked at him with a look that read: 'Really?' "I'm worried about you, you know. Obviously something's wrong. I get not wanting to talk about it but.....just know I'm here if you need me." Daniel's face went expressionless for a moment, before a small genuine smile appeared on it. "Thanks Tanya. I'm fine it's just.....Adrian. He hasn't been returning my calls, hasn't been on any social media...... I even went to the police yesterday but they wouldn't hear me out. Said he's probably partying or something". He suddenly went on a tangent. "I mean really, tell me what's the point of paying taxes if they're not even being-", he stopped himself, sighed and looked down rubbing his tired eyes. Tanya stood there listening to him finally spill the beans. Adrian? Right, the quiet one. He came by the other day, from the train station since he lived in the outskirts. "Tell you what", she offered, "Why don't you give it a couple more days. If he still hasn't shown up you can tell the cops to get up and send a search team to his place. He's still in that new apartment building right? Can't be that hard to send two guys over to make sure he's still good." She pulled on the door handle to check that the electronic locks were in place. "Maybe even one of those search drones they're bragging about in the news." Daniel chuckled dryly. "The ones that keep flying into windows? Sure." Tanya had always been very pragmatic. It wasn't in Daniel's nature to just sit back and wait for things to happen....at least not for this long. No, something was up with Adrian. He was sure he could afford the train ticket there and back. "Actually I've been thinking.... maybe I need a break, you know. Just take a few days off and go to the beach or something." Tanya reluctantly turned back right as she was about to start walking to her car. The coast was a good day's train ride away. "Did you apply for leave in advance? Three weeks, remember." Daniel couldn't stop himself from groaning a bit. "Yeah, yeah..... I remember. OK then, I'll just...." "Go for it Daniel", Tanya said out of the blue. It was a small shop with pretty lax rules and Daniel wasn't very productive in his current state anyway. She felt no problem with bending the rules a bit in this case. "I can see you need some time to get your mind off things" The man breathed out gratefully. "Thanks boss", he said sincerely. Tanya had her moments, even if she sometimes had difficulty reading a situation. Obviously he wasn't going anywhere near the coast; she just didn't need to know that. They said their farewells and Daniel set off towards the hover-train station. He pondered his decision briefly. No dirty dishes at home, no open windows.... other than lacking a toothbrush, he was good to go. In the dim light of the fading sun, he bought a ticket for the southern outskirts hoping to find his friend alive and well. The overnight ride through the massive city was quite uneventful since he slept through most of it. It was early morning by the time he had woken up, eaten a piece of toast and was preparing to disembark. He waited patiently behind one of the few anthros he had seen heading this direction, a male fox-like anthro clad in a casual shirt and shorts. Where he lived he had gotten very accustomed to man's new fuzzy friends. They had been around since before he was even born and the only anthros that slightly freaked him out were the magical ones. After Daniel saw a snakelike man spitting lightning in the street like it was Sen's fortress from that antique video game, he decided that perhaps some of the surprisingly few humans still concerned about magic had a point. After disembarking from the train it was a tedious walk to Adrian's apartment block. He'd only visited his long time friend in his new home once before, when Daniel had helped him to settle in when he first got here. 12.....14......16. Here it was, he realized as he looked at the keycard scanner. He could dimly hear the ever-present sound of construction somewhere in the building he remembered from his first visit. There was a fine layer of cement dust coating the floor which hadn't been swept yet, with some footsteps visible leading to every door in the hall. Almost every door, he noticed with a knot in his stomach. No one had come in or left Adrian’s apartment recently. Out of desperation he tried the door but it was of course locked. He gave a distressed sigh as he turned back towards the stairs. He preferred stairs to the lift. "Where are you Adrian....?", he muttered under his breath. The front office didn't know either. They entertained his questions, but seemed wholly uninterested in helping him locating their tenant which had been been missing for several days. "It's only been a few days sir, we're sure he's fine" was the best he could get from them. He left feeling more frustrated than when he had arrived. There was only one place left: the restaurant where his friend worked. He passed a few convenience stores and the like, glanced up at what looked like a.....pole dancing bird... screen? Whatever. He had more important things to do. Daniel eventually arrived at the entrance to the restaurant, greeted by several waiters offering him a seat. Of course, Adrian wasn't among them. "Excuse me, I'm not here for a table, I was just wondering if anyone had seen Adrian recently? I'm just worried since I haven't heard from him in a while....." "Adrian? Well now that you mention it the manager was pretty upset that he's been missing shifts", piped up a curly-haired young man. "I don't speak with him much, haven't seen him sorry. I'm sure he's fine and-". Daniel snapped and erupted into fury at the waiter's innocent intentions. "No. Do. Not. Say. That. Doesn't anyone care about anyone else anymore! Doesn't anyone other than me want to find him?!" "Sir, please! Would you just calm down a bit..." He had drawn the attention of several patrons eating their lunch. One of them in particular subtly perked up at the outburst, a dark blue robe keeping him inconspicuous. It still couldn't hide the shiny black beak attached to his face. Daniel was panting a bit, he realised. He apologised half-heartedly and left defeated. He took a few steps back towards the apartment building he'd come from and promptly lost motivation, resigning himself to sitting outside on the grey pavement in the hot sun. He looked out into the clean paved street. Newly built, yet still narrow and densely packed.....architects seemed to plan this sort of sardine-packing in advance. Like ants spreading out into the world, consuming the landscape as efficiently as possible, he idly thought. Someone behind him cleared their throat politely. Dejectedly he glanced up squinting at the figure standing against the sun. Whoever it was was wearing some sort of cloak, but because of the positioning in the light he could only make out a silhouette. He got the impression it wasn't a human though, something about the head shape..... "I hear you're looking for someone~", came a playful voice along with decidedly inhuman facial movements. "Want to share, perhaps?" Daniel responded melancholically, doubtful that this would amount to much though grateful for any assistance. "Yeah.... he lives around here, used to....", he breathed in and motioned at the restaurant, ".....work over there and I haven't been able to find him. He's a bit shorter than me, human, no sense of style....." He gave a sad smile. "Hmmmmmmm...... well that unfortunately describes several people I know......", said the voice in a strange combination of cheerful and sympathetic. "Did you come here all on your own? No help or anything to find your friend?", the figure inquired curiously. Daniel shook his head, averting his eyes from the silhouette standing with its weight shifted casually to one leg. "No....", he sucked in another breath. "No one seemed particularly interested, to be honest. It's like the world doesn't even care that he's gone." His new acquaintance just gave an odd, questioning "hmmmmm?" before appearing to contemplate something, then probing a bit deeper. "Well you certainly care about him. I can tell! He should feel lucky that a handsome young man such as yourself should come looking for him, no?" Daniel wasn't sure how he felt about that. Adrian was pretty much the only friend in which he found himself consistently confiding his deepest thoughts and fears in. His best friend. Still, he found the person that had approached him to be a bit.... presumptuous. "Ha. No, just a very good friend", he corrected with a polite smile, still a bit down in the dumps. "My apologies of course~", said the figure. Daniel couldn't help but feel the new arrival wasn't taking this very seriously. No sooner had he considered just excusing himself from the conversation, than the stranger spoke up again in a voice not too far off from singing. "Well there WAS someone that was around here the other day..... he would usually pass by my place of work on his way home", he motioned a silhouetted arm to the apartment building Daniel had investigated earlier. "What was his name again? 'Adrian' I think it was?" Daniel leapt up from his seat. "Yes!! That's him! You see him lately?", he inquired excitedly. He could clearly see the figure had a beak from his new standing position. It gracefully moved a clawed hand to inside its hood to ponder a bit, other hand on the waist. "Yes...... I think I just might have. Tell you what~", he lowered his hand again, "I'm sure if we put our heads together we can figure out where I spotted him last and where he went. I think I saw him pretty recently actually. Do you mind keeping me company for a while? Two heads are better than one~", the figure stared dreamily into the sky, "And three heads are better than two!" Daniel breathed a sigh of mild relief. 'Seen recently' was a very good sign. "Yes! Yes, of course. Thank you", he replied with genuine gratitude. "Perfect!", the stranger clapped his avian hands together and beckoned for Daniel to follow. Just a moment later they were standing in front of a place Daniel had passed earlier; a bright green sign read 'Dancing Delights', and a screen was alive above it displaying a male, red-feathered anthro bird doing his thing on a pole. The happy looking creature lifted his legs, spun around, jumped and twirled in the recording while expertly hiding his privates from view of the public street. For a moment Daniel was at a loss for words. This was the LAST place he had expected to find any information on Adrian. Though the nature of the establishment certainly explained a lot about his new friend...... Speaking of which, the bird was standing at the door with an amused stance, waiting for the human to snap back out of his thoughts and follow him in. When Daniel finally did return to reality, he slowly approached the unguarded door. This wasn't really his kind of place, but he had important things to accomplish here. The stranger pushed open the door with a few sharp fingers and stepped inside with a silent swish of his cloak, Daniel following wordlessly. It was relatively quiet inside, since it was essentially the middle of the day. There were a few human employees sweeping and mopping the place on the main floor and the stage. The stage itself was pretty average, with the poles Daniel had expected. Around the stage.... things were more interesting. There were several wooden and steel 'perches' lining the walls. Two huge, ornately decorated metal bird cages were suspended from the roof with multiple thick steel cables, one cage on either side of the stage. In front of each cage there was a comically sized bag full of..... bird feed?. The avian chuckled heartily, noticing what Daniel was staring at with a slight frown on his human face. "It's for the customers! All of us here just LOVE to catch a bit of seed in our beaks~", the dancer explained. Ah. Classy, thought Daniel with a roll of his eyes. He changed the topic. "So... any ideas where you saw Adrian? It wasn't in here, was it?" "Hmmmmmm. No, I don't believe Adrian's ever walked inside himself. It was somewhere nearby though..... Follow me~ We'll have some privacy in my room. I'd love for you to meet my roommate!", the bird beckoned again with a talon. If Daniel didn't know any better, he would say this oddity was trying to seduce him. "Wait, h-hang on!", Daniel started following, "I don't even know your name". They had taken a path off the side of the stage and were now standing in a hallway before a door with two nametags on it. His guide put a claw on the door handle and looked at him with a sly look. "My name's Violet...... and you are?" "I'm Daniel. Nice to meet you..... Violet." He could tell that Violet was smiling when he flipped his head back towards the door in an exaggerated motion and pushed it open. Inside, the room was quite spacious, Daniel realised. This place treated its employees surprisingly well it seemed. Inside there were two 'nests' in the corner of the room, large circular cushions obviously serving as sleeping arrangements. Lining parts of the wall up to the ceiling there were some large rounded wooden platforms poking out forming perches like the ones in the main room. Near the middle of the room, there was a single steel dancing pole extending from the floor all the way up to the high ceiling. Obviously for secluded practice, along with the perches. The building was deceptively large, and Daniel had to wonder how the place afforded all this. Maybe they were just that good, or maybe people paid heavily for the novelty of seeing attractive bird people being, well, attractive. Upon the pole was the roommate; he was languidly reclined with his head thrown back relaxed with his smooth, hooked black beak pointing at the sky. His eyes were closed peacefully as he seemed to almost be dreaming in that position. His arms were stretched straight up, gripping the pole loosely high above his head. One leg was stretched almost as high, flat against the metal surface in an amazing display of elasticity. The other leg stood comfortably with its foot raised slightly in a characteristically avian stance, most of his weight currently supported on those four clawed toes. When Daniel finally noticed the motionless, feather-clad humanoid, he couldn't help but stare. The long legs, the generous thighs, the pose that gave him the impression there should be a camera crew nearby...... the fact that he was a non-human decorated head to toe in fluffy magenta and some pinkish feathers only added to the effect. Daniel had never been particularly interested in men, but he couldn't deny that if a woman had this sort of body he would have done some very unethical things to have a chance at it. The room was completely still as the human stared in silence, completely blown away by the sight before him. Violet was enjoying this immensely, regarding the human with folded arms. He cleared his throat softly, releasing the other two from their stupors. "Daniel, meet Audienne!", he said as he started to take off his cloak. Daniel winced and blinked a few times, a bit embarrassed at both his own behaviour and that of the new bird. While most anthros were exempt from laws requiring the usage of clothes (since they were automatically covered up by hair and the like), an anthro without clothes was still seen as indecent in the court of public opinion; most ended up conforming to the human standard. Audienne didn't seem like the type to be bothered by this in the least judging by his casual demeanour. He opened his large green eyes and glanced around the room, noticing Violet and the visitor and pulled his beak into a smile where it attached to his face, elated. "Oh hi Violet! Like, I didn't see you there!", he then shifted his gaze to Daniel as he detached gracefully from the pole. His piercing, nearly luminous eyes looked at the human enthusiastically. "What's YOUR name, hmmmm? I'm Audienne~". The bird placed his claws behind his back and pushed out his pelvis just a little bit forward, with his head cocked to one side. The dancer seemed to be putting himself on display just a little bit. Daniel recovered and put on a courteous smile. "Nice to meet you, my feathery friend. My name's Daniel". He almost put out a hand to shake, but remembered where he was and thought better of touching too much. Audienne's eyes glittered, and he swore he could see them glow for a second. "Hi Daniel~". The avian wasn't exactly being subtle. He was even worse than the other one, Violet. He turned back to the bird in question, and was once again speechless. Violet had removed his one piece of clothing, his cloak, so that Daniel could he see him properly for the first time since meeting him. He boasted the same colour scheme as his 'roommate' and was the same height. The slight inaccuracy of Violet's name aside, the human's first thought was that they must be related. One of them was obviously more 'physically blessed' than the other but they looked almost identical otherwise. He dumbly turned away from the smug, knowing expression on Violet's face back to Audienne..... then back again to Violet who seemed to take great delight in his confusion with his hands on his hips. No.... from the waist up they looked exactly the same. Same torso, same arms that ended in light grey scales, same shoulders and neck..... same face. "So you two are.... brothers I'm guessing?", he inquired cautiously. Audienne seemed slightly offended. "What!? Why would you say that? You can't dance and grind with, like, brothers and sisters! That's, like, totally weird!", he said genuinely perplexed by Daniel's comment. He now had his balled fists on his hips and all that did was make him look even more like Violet, though slightly more annoyed. The human felt like he was going insane. Yep, this sure is weird all right, he thought. Violet pushed the conversation forward. "Oh don't you worry, Daniel. I promise you we're not related at all! Audienne was just a.....lucky find is all~" Daniel shook his head, refocused and turned back to the more physically modest one named Violet. "So.....about my friend-" Violet quieted him by putting up a finger, as if he had spoken out of turn. He had a mischievous look about him, though Daniel figured the bird was just like that. Even so with the way Violet looked at him, he felt like he was being treated like a meal. "Yes, yes of course. Audienne, this nice man needs our help~", he spoke to his almost-double in a conspiratorial, sultry tone of voice. His partner didn't seem to think much of the inflection though, and simply paid rapt attention. "Oh? With what does he...ummm...need help?", he inquired with an innocence that seemed to contradict his very body, which swaying back and forth on his toes at the moment. Violet put one footclaw in front of the other, slowly strutting towards Daniel with his lower claws in a straight line. "Can't you tell? He's so very worried and stressed......it's up to us to ease his frustration~" Daniel rolled his eyes. This whole thing had obviously been a mistake. He could see where this was going, or at least, he thought he could. "Look, guys, I'm not interested. I came here to find my buddy and that's what I'm going to do", he said as he started to make for the door in frustration. Violet wouldn't give up so easily though, and he teasingly called back to Daniel. "That's what I'm trying to help you do, Danny-boy~", his voice was raised to a slightly higher pitch now. "Look into my eyes and tell me you think I would lie to you". Against his better judgement, Daniel took a last look back with his hand on the door handle. He felt like a moth being drawn to a flame as his eyes widened involuntarily. Even from halfway across the room, Violet's eyes were the only thing he was interested in. They definitely had a glow about them, a bright glow that burned away his will to avert his gaze like an insidiously cozy fire. Violet continued his slow, confident walk to Daniel. "You like them, don't you? My eyes make you feel nice and safe.....there is absolutely, positively nothing to fear by losing yourself in them, you know. Feel free to fall as far as you want!" He was standing in front of Daniel now, sizing him up. The human's hand had dropped from the door handle and now hung uselessly by his side. Audienne was staring curiously from somewhere behind Violet. "There are only two important things in the world right now", Violet went on as he placed one hand against the door behind Daniel, pressing the lock button before gently pushing the human against the solid steel with a grey claw on his chest. "My eyes....and my voice. Got it sweety?" Daniel's head was at first swirling with confusion, but as he kept staring at the green rings pulsing in Violet's eyes he felt all those stormy thoughts falling in the abyss that those eyes were slowly pulling the rest of him into as well. It was like free-falling, except instead of falling down he was being pulled closer to Violet and the insistent bird's influence. Then the sensation stopped and it was like floating, the slow pulses giving him a deep sense of peace and fulfillment. Violet carefully leaned in and gave Daniel's ear a slow, deliberate and delicate lick. He sighed contentedly and took one of the human's loosely hanging hands into both of his own. "You'll do just about anything for me wouldn't you, Daniel?" "Uhhhh.......", was all the entranced man could muster. Violet let out a characteristic giggle, wriggling his entire body in anticipation for what was to come next. Without much further warning, his hands grew soft and lost their firm consistency, seemingly melting into a highly viscous liquid. This liquid started to run up Daniel's forearms. "Would you do what I say? Would you make yourself better for me?" He leaned in closer, his breath on Daniel's face smelling strongly of mint, more of him starting to liquify and cover the human. "Would you be me?" There was a knock on the door, throwing Violet off balance a bit. A muffled, entitled-sounding voice came from the outside. "Hello? Helloooo? I'm lookin' for a.... (what's this name again) Violet....just Violet, I guess." Violet tried to stay as quiet as possible while maintaining his intense eye contact with Daniel. A tense second of silence passed. The three inside kept quiet, though Violet was the only one that bothered putting effort into going undetected. "I know y're in there", came the voice again. Violet was calling his bluff, when Audienne suddenly felt the need to pipe up. "Hey there! Yep we're all in here, come on in~". Violet sighed. The voluptuous avian that had once been Adrian was turning out to be a real handful after he had been 'improved'. It was worth it though, he decided. The door rattled but didn't open. "'S locked, open up would ya! If you don't, I'll get the law on ya! I've got authority, see!". A look of anger flashed across Violet's usually very positive face before he regained his cool. He was pissed. Something about the arrogance of the voice was grating on him. Only Violet was allowed to treat people like he owned them! His molten claws retracted and solidified, once again gently holding the human in place. "Be right there! Just....in the middle of preparing something~", his singing voice had an edge to it. He reached a hand behind him with an outstretched index talon toward Audienne; a gentle instruction to shut up or else. Audienne turned away sheepishly while Violet thought for a second. He had two options: try and get both Daniel and he newcomer under his thrall, or try and hide their guest of honour while he dealt with the one that hadn't been invited. He certainly didn't trust the air-headed Audienne with something as important as talking to whoever was outside. Since they sounded the same, as far as the person outside was concerned there was only one of him answering from behind the door. He also didn't know who this was or how many were waiting outside. If it was someone related to the law, it would be more noticeable if they disappeared. The news still cared if important people vanished. No, Violet would have to deal with this himself. He had an epiphany, pulled Daniel back to the inside of the room and sat him down on a chair against the wall, motioning Audienne closer. He brought in his duplicate and started whispering to him. "Now, Audienne, I've got something very important I need you to do. I want you to listen very closely. I'm going outside to talk to the man to get rid of him, since we.....want our privacy right now", he broke away from Daniel to shoot the door a dirty look. Whoever it was still gave the odd protest or command to hurry up from the other side. "Just a few minutes~", he yelled back, then locked eyes with their new human and started hurriedly giving instructions to Audienne without looking at him. "Think about....getting someone to do what you want. To open them up and make them yours, to own them and make them know it", he tried explaining. The vacant look on Audienne's face told him that not much was getting through to his would-be prodigy. To boot, his magical manipulations had made the bouncy bird submissive as hell and he wasn't sure Audienne had it in him to dominate. Violet tried a different tactic. "Take a look at this cute guy~ What do you want to do with him, hmmm?" Audienne could articulate his thoughts on this better. "He's, like, not as cute as YOU Vi, but he looks like he could be fun to make out with!", he said back without trying very hard to whisper. Violet gently put a talon to his double's beak, and ceased his concentration on Daniel. "That's great, you adorable birdy! Now look at him.....look him in the eyes and think about what you want......he wants it too, he just doesn't know it yet. You need to help him relax so you can both enjoy it. Can you do that?" Audienne gave a small 'hmmmm', leaned forward with his hands just above his bent knees and his rear pushed out with his tail raised, wiggling slightly back and forth. Violet wondered if Audienne needed more time, time they didn't have right now. Daniel was starting to piece his thoughts together and Violet would need to recapture him in a few seconds if this didn't work out. Audienne gazed intently at the eyes of his best friend from a previous life, and his own emerald eyes started glowing faintly. Small green rings started moving out from his enlarged pupils towards the outside of his eyeballs, infinitely spawning and disappearing in an endless cycle. Daniel moved a hand with a tremendous amount of effort, but it was in vain. A moment later he sighed back into a trance just deep enough to keep him occupied as he stared into the eyes of the person he had come here to find. Audienne gasped a bit and barely contained a girlish giggle. "I'm doing it Violet! Look at me, like......doing it!" Violet leaned back, relieved. That was close. He had hoped to avoid teaching Audienne any magic at all, and it wasn't like the dimwit was going to figure it out on his own so Violet wasn't too worried about that. The issue remained that at the end of the day Audienne was, well, essentially just a modified copy of Violet with unusual origins. He had magical potential and right now it had a use. Violet did NOT like sharing power, though. Desperate times and all that. "How about you have some fun and keep Danny company~", he stood back up, leaving Audienne hovering above the human slumped like jelly in the chair against the wall. "Just make sure you keep quiet, please~". Even Audienne could tell that wasn't a request. The way the bedroom door hinged, they pair in the back would be out of sight from whoever was outside. Violet unlocked the door with a talon on a pad, then opened the door three quarters of the way. He greeted his new adversary. "How can I be of service, hmmm?", he asked coyly. He was turning the charm up all the way, looking at the human that had rudely disturbed his play through half-lidded eyes. The man was slightly shorter than Violet, and the erotic dancer could tell he had a temper just by looking at him. He wore a scowl and freckles on his round face, along with what looked like a brown tweed jacket and very serious looking brown pants on the rest of his body. He didn't look like he was that far above drinking age (25 since the new laws) and already had the attitude of a disgruntled senior citizen. The disruptive individual looked up at Violet both surprised at his good looks and unamused at his lack of clothing. "Name's Coldwell. Simon Coldwell", the man stated matter-of-factly, "Got some questions for you 'Violet', if ya don't mind?" Violet stared him down for a moment with his sharp green eyes. Daniel would be difficult to trace here but this little gremlin might have someone come looking for him. Violet simply didn't know, and he couldn't risk putting him under his thrall. Yet. "Why of course~ Tell me, are you an officer of the law?", he demanded smoothly without any of the threatening tone he felt within. Simon Coldwell laughed dryly. "Ha. No. Merely a concerned citizen of th' city looking int' some disappearances. Law's useless. I'm not." Violet was both fascinated by Simon's audacity and just a mite concerned at the revelation. "Good heavens!", he brought a hand to his chest in mock surprise. "Who is it that's been disappearing? I hope no one I know?" Simon was unintimidated by the insolent display. "Woman named Sarah Lang. Went missing a couple days ago, few blocks from here. No one over there seems t'care so I went looking myself. Had t'widen my search", he regarded Violet's behaviour critically. He felt like he was being toyed with, and he didn't like it. Violet relaxed just a tiny little bit. "Never heard of her, I'm afraid". It was true; he had nothing to do with whoever this was. Coldwell wasn't convinced. "Not just her though. Spoken to some people and th’ last few years‘ve seen a significant uptick in disappearances, 'specially 'round the outskirts", he pressed further. He tried to step passed Violet into the room. "Are y’sure ya don't know any-" A colourful, feathery and scaly arm was suddenly blocking Simon’s route. He tried to push through anyway. He would have had better luck pushing through iron. "If y'have nothing to hide, you'll let me pass." "If you have any reason to come into my room, you'll get a warrant~ Oh wait.....", Violet put his other hand to his head like he suddenly remembered something, "....you don't have the authority, see?" Simon narrowed his eyes and started to turn away before a thought struck him. "Who's 'we'?" "Excuse me?", Violet asked warily. "Earlier you said that 'we' were all inside", Simon prodded. "That would be my roommate, Audienne", Violet stated, "He's resting right now and you will NOT disturb him" Simon turned to leave with a 'hmph' and went on his way. Violet shook his head indignantly, the soft feathers on top of his head waving around a bit. What a silly man, he thought. The disappearances intrigued him though; he had always known he was special, but had never known whether he was truly unique in his transformative abilities. Actually, Audienne had really been his second attempt at 'propagating' himself. The first had been out of anger several months ago. Sure he had played around with transforming things before and hypnotising people (something he immensely enjoyed), but this happened during an argument with a touchy customer at a previous, mostly human joint. He'd covered the man in goo and turned him into the object of his own affection out of spite. He then used his well-honed mind magic to make his first clone literally cum his brains out onto the floor. He hadn't even left him with a name. There were no witnesses around, not that he knew of at least. Violet wasn't exactly scared off after that, since he was incredibly aroused by the sight at the time. It was that he didn't want to inflict that upon just anyone. Sure, he had a mean streak but he had never thought of himself as needlessly cruel. He had decided a few days later that he would treat any future subjects a bit better, acting as a guide for them while he had his fun. Taking care of them as well as taking joy in them. Audienne had been a nice middle ground when it came to Violet's unconventional moral compass. Now nosy Daniel was about to join him, he reminded himself with glee! He waited until Simon Coldwell was completely out of sight before getting back to his shenanigans. He gave just a second more of thought to the first other 'Violet' he had made. Last he checked the guy was getting what was left of his brains fucked out in a brothel somewhere in the central parts. The original was quite flattered when he heard that his identical copy was consistently the most requested item on the menu. He mused on how remarkable the time he lived in was. So much as think about music without the record lable's permission and you would be fined. Shove a hot slut into a whore house without any documentation that he even existed and the establishment would still pass their government mandated inspection with flying colours. He closed the door behind him with a swish of his leg and locked it again, hoping that he would have no more distractions. He was greeted by an encouraging sight. Audienne was sitting comfortably on Daniel's lap with bent knees, his footclaws dangling off the floor on either side, clenching and then relaxing over and over in contentment. His clawed hands held Daniel's head in place while Audienne.....enjoyed him, to put it in a nutshell. The bird had his beak open fully, almost engulfing the human's face inside it, his eyes closed in bliss. This was to facilitate easy access to Daniel's face via Audienne's long tongue, which was happily violating the receptive human. The sharp edges of his beak were carefully kept away from doing any harm as Audienne went to town on him. Violet could see moisture everywhere on the man, even up to his ears, though right now his mouth was being forced open by the thick appendage and he was being kissed deeply by the curvier version of Violet. Occasionally the muscly avian tongue would retract to allow Daniel some breath before diving in again with abandonment. During this short respite Daniel would be given another dose of Audienne's hypnotic eyes. For a good few moments Violet didn't have the heart to wrench them apart. They had time now, after all. Eventually he decided that enough was enough. Things had to get going. He once more had to alert Audienne to his presence with a small 'ahem~'. The bird perched upon Daniel removed his face with a wet slurp and turned to Violet with a VERY happy grin on his slightly flexible beak. "Welcome back! You were gone, like, so long!", he squawked breathlessly. His eyes were glowing incredibly brightly with hypnotic magic now, though it was starting to fade with his loss of focus. Judging by the motionless human beneath him, Audienne had exercised very little self control and had immensely overdone it with his magic. No matter, thought Violet. "I see you've been getting intimately acquainted with our guest~ Tell me, how does he taste?", he asked curiously. Audienne ran his tongue over his beak. After a while the human didn't taste like anything other than Audienne/Violet and the mints that the two of them shared. At first though it was- "Strawberry jam, I think?" "Hmmmm~", Violet intoned taking a step closer, "Well why don't you come up and stand over here. You may enjoy watching this~ I'm going to take this human and make him fit muuuuuch better into his new life with us......" Audienne stood up with a jiggling ass but Daniel was too out of it to react to the bloodflow returning to his legs. Violet, inspired, took Audienne's place on the incapacitated human, mounting him and moving up even closer on him. Daniel just sat, staring blankly ahead. Violet didn't even need hypnosis to keep him restrained after the number his counterpart had done on him. He closed his own eyes now and took a deep breath in anticipation, tasting the moment as his body started to glow slightly. The faint scent of sex in the room courtesy of all the nights in the last week, their shared saliva on the human, Daniel's clothes that had been worn for two days straight.....and of course the excitement that both he and Audienne felt, exuding from both of them. It was something distant, basically a combination of breath and sweat and general musk that permeated the room. Soon, they would be sharing all this with someone else. Violet opened his bright green eyes again as he breathed out and started to melt. He sank into and around Daniel as his body spontaneously lost solidity, penetrating the human's clothes and wrapping around his body. Even Violet's head dissolved to join in the puddle, the creamy pink coloured feathers on his face, belly and tail mixing with the blob to create a collage of magenta, pink, grey and streaks of the rainbow. The faint texture of his downy feathers eventually lost their definition in the goo that enveloped Daniel and started to smother his face. Audienne gasped in awe at the display. How could Violet never have mentioned he could do that!? At least, he was pretty sure he never had. Oh well. This was so cool! Is Violet OK though? And what's he doing? Daniel's body began to rise slightly from the chair as he was cocooned in the glowing slime. For the first time his eyes showed signs of life as he glanced around his blurry surroundings. His gaze followed a piece of his coat that had started to disintegrate and had detached from the rest. It floated by in front of him, growing smaller and smaller as it disappeared into nothing. What looked like steam started to rise from the mass of goo as the rest of the human clothing evaporated, along with the ID card and mobile phone that had been contained in them. He was now completely naked, and Audienne was free to watch the human's remarkable transformation. It started with his extremities as they were gently forced away from his sides to make him spread-eagle. His feet shifted from five toed flat things into four-toed claws with trimmed, hooked talons on the tips that would be supporting his new form. The first three toes were in front, and a final toe on the back of the claw. It was difficult to see through the goo, but his shins started to turn grey from the small scales appearing on his legs and forearms. Once they had taken hold, bright pinkish purple down started appearing on his thighs and upper arms. His front was covered in similar feathers, though they were a light, creamy pink rather than that shade of magenta. This continued up to his head where his own shiny black beak was now pushing out, slightly hooked on the end as his nose sank into it. His face also started growing feathers in that pinkish colour, the rest of his head covered in the ever present light purple. All over his head he started to grow a crest of slightly longer fluffy feathers that emulated a tuft of hair pushed back slightly. The last of the feathers finally came in as Daniel blinked once and tried moving his arms with great effort. When his eyes opened again, they were a green that Audienne found familiar. Several pink tail feathers could be seen appearing behind him, the feathers tipped with magenta. Throughout the entire process, Daniel's body had shifted proportions. His stature had shrunk just a bit and his athletic muscular upper body that he'd spent much time cultivating had slimmed down considerably. His rear and legs had gained a decent amount of mass, and his hips were slightly wider. A few other small changes to his overall shape had produced another perfect duplicate of Violet, down to each feather perfectly placed on his new lithe upper and thick lower body. The goo retracted back into a solid being and he bird named Daniel sank back down into the chair, temporarily exhausted and lacking air. As he was once again free, he gasped sharply to get oxygen into his highly modified lungs, sputtering a bit at the strange feeling. Violet was fully solid once more, riding his brand new twin like Audienne had done when he was still human. He had his hands on Daniels slim shoulders, waiting for him to collect himself. Once his confusion started to fade a bit, Daniel brought a shaky claw to his face. He could see the details of the room behind it in far more detail than he could before. He saw the fine feathers on his forearm turning into the smooth, soft grey scales that covered his delicate hands. He brought it up a bit higher, then stopped. The hand he had lifted looked almost exactly like the one that was laid on his shoulder. Same size, same colour, same trimmed nails.....it was spooky. He finally looked at Violet sitting on him, identical faces inches apart. His new, stronger legs could support the weight easily. The avian on top had a mysterious expression on his face. One that meant his captor was obviously in high spirits but....he still couldn't quite decipher the meaning of the sneaky look. Daniel finally spoke up with a voice no longer his own. "Did you...... w-well I mean obviously you're the one who did this but....why?" He had a slightly pleading tinge to his new sweeter voice. "Hmmmmmmm? You mean you don't see it? You haven't been looking at the reason this whole time? I mean have you SEEN us? Audienne, would you please explain to our friend why you think I....did this", Violet explained with that same cryptic expression, turning his head and glancing at the third person in the room who was still staring open-beaked at the whole ordeal. He snapped out of it and started to think hard. It wasn't necessary though; the answer was clear. "Well I'm guessing, like, Violet did this 'cause, ummmm, you're just better this way! You're pretty now, like us~", he looked at Violet questioningly for confirmation. Violet gave something akin to a purr and wiggled a bit in his 'seat'. "That's right Audienne! You got it!", he returned to the former human between his arms, "That answer your question, sexy?" Daniel was about to continue protesting when a realisation struck him. That name.... 'Audienne'.....no. It couldn't be. He looked at the bird that was hanging back a bit with a sense of profound shock. Daniel himself had been changed, which meant it had to be..... "A-Adrian? Is that you?", he asked a bit hoarsely. Audienne looked a bit confused and waved his scaly hands dismissively. "No silly~ You say it like Aww-dee-en!" Violet ruffled Daniel's 'hair', causing him to flinch a bit. "Yes....that's his name....", he lowered his voice a bit so that only the two of them could hear, "....his name now~ Want to join me and have some fun with him?". His taunting choice of words had been deliberate; he just couldn't resist having an excuse for what came next. Daniel felt a surge of blinding anger suddenly. How-How could he? How could this weird magical thing do that to Adrian!? Turn him into THAT! Memories of the intense and prolonged tongueing sprang to his mind. "No! How dare you! The Adrian I know would never....would never act like that! You've turned him into some sort of-", he searched for the words to describe Audienne, "some sort of stupid, kinky-" Violet completed his sentence for him. "-horny, happy, bouncing little dancing slut~". Daniel fell silent for a moment, and Violet continued explaining to him what his closest friend had become. "Do you know what happened when he was dancing in yesterday's show? He was getting into it-and I mean REALLY getting into it, grinding on his pole with a massive hard on~". Audienne blushed a bit through his feathers when he realised what story Violet was recounting and he started tittering, covering his beak with his hands and crossing his legs in a standing position. Daniel listened wide-eyed in morbid curiosity. "He eventually....well.....got excited enough to blow his load all over the place. Then someone in the crowd did too~ Can you imagine that! Just watching that delicious looking thing having fun was enough for someone to end their night with a bit of a bang!", he lowered his voice again to a lower volume and a higher pitch while he leaned in closer, "And you know the best part? The juicy little secret? That was him aaaaall the way down! All I did was take out the things holding him back~" Daniel erupted like a volcano. In a sudden burst of strength he managed to shove Violet off of him. "YOU BASTARD!", he squawked out. From his position on the floor Violet just looked at Daniel with a delighted look on his face, his eyes once again filled with a hypnotic glow. Daniel had somehow already forgotten about that, but he averted his eyes immediately and kept them tightly shut while he grit his.....beak. Violet felt like the game was on, and was still in a bit of a sadistic mood. As Daniel struggled out of the chair, Violet swept his leg out from under him in one fluid motion to drop him back to his seat. Violet feigned an annoyed gasp. "Adrian! Are you breaking out of my control!?", he yelled almost mockingly. He looked at Audienne and put a finger to his beak. Then he replied to his own accusation. "D-Daniel? Is that you?". Daniel's eyes shot open and he looked over at an Audienne that was completely out of the loop. From the position of Daniel's feet Violet sat up on his knees with his bird legs beneath him. He mischievously pointed at his eyes trying to get Audienne to understand his intention. "Adrian! It's me! You can do this, snap out of it man!", Daniel yelled desperately. Audienne just looked even more flustered, not quite able to comprehend the situation. "I.... I don't.....", he said softly. Daniel seemed to take this as a sign it was working. Violet grabbed Audienne's attention again and signaled by pulsing his eyes with hypnosis once, then pointed to Daniel. Daniel wasn't able to see Violet's confident demeanour, too focused on his mission. "Please Adrian!", he tried again, too afraid to get out of his seat and 'spook' Adrian away. Finally, understanding flashed across Audienne's face. "Ohhhh~", he finally said. He looked at a hopeful Daniel straight in the face and started blasting out hypnotic power from his eyes. Daniel realised he had been betrayed too late and sank into Audienne's hold almost immediately. He could feel his willpower draining in real time as his defenses were dismantled one by one by the beautiful, relentless eyes. "Very good~", Violet purred. He wondered if he should let his pet do the 'mental improvements', but thought better of it. He had been hesitant to even teach Audienne basic hypnosis, and for good reason. While he wasn't necessarily a threat to Violet per se, he could still be incredibly dangerous with all that undisciplined power. Besides, Violet realised, turning thoughts and actual mental capacity into something semi-physical using magic was tricky. He himself had taken years to master it. It would take Audienne.....significantly longer. Perhaps that was a good thing. Still, he thought, having the former Adrian suck out the thoughts from his would-be saviour would have been tasty. He stood up completely and stood in front of Daniel. Before Audienne fully put the third member of their merry band into a trance that was too deep, Violet decided that it was time. "You can stop that now, but nicely done! You're such an obedient little bird~". Violet gave him a congratulatory slap on the behind, eliciting a happy squeak from Audienne and causing the whole bottom half of his body to vibrate. Violet idly wondered just how much of Adrian was still left down there. He turned his attention to Daniel and captured the green eyes with his own luminous ones, putting Daniel into a state where he couldn't resist but was definitely keenly aware of what was going on. "Hmmmmm. Well here we are again, Daniel~ I'm sure there's a part of you inside there somewhere that's still a bit.....concerned about this, but I promise you you're in good hands! Well, claws really~". 'Concerned' was putting it mildly. Daniel was outright panicking. What's he going to do to me? He's not going to....make me like Adrian, is he? The more he thought about it, it seemed pretty likely. He didn't have any sort of control over where his eyes were looking, but he could see the third bird from the corner of his eyes. Audienne was standing behind Violet fiddling with his talons while eagerly watching the spectacle in silence. Maybe all Daniel needed to do was concentrate on what was important to him, then maybe he would be able to hold onto himself and stop himself from turning into something else? Violet's speaking brought his attention away from these thoughts against his will, commanded to pay attention when he was actively trying not to. "I need you to do something for me now, handsome~", Violet said looking at a copy of his own face. "I need you to think about your whole life..... everything about you that defines YOU. That would be every memory, every connection, every idea in that cute little head. That's not all though", he bent down and leaned in a bit. Their beaks were lightly touching now. Daniel felt a shiver go down his spine, though no actual movement took place. "You're also defined by your capacity to think. The space in your head for ideas to blossom. I want you to visualise that capacity to think, your intelligence, as something you can touch. Something you CAN touch, but won't be able to. Just like your thoughts and memories~", the domineering avian explained before giving Daniel a small 'kiss' in the form of a tiny lick on the tip of his beak. Daniel started seeing bits of memories fly out from behind his eyes into a bubble floating just behind the other two birds, in the middle of the room. It obviously wasn't really there, just some sort of magical manifestation, but Audienne seemed to be able to see it too. He jumped up and held his hands to his face in surprise. "Wow! So these things inside are, like, your thoughts?", he wondered out loud as he gave the growing bubble a poke with a sharp talon. It didn't break but it did wobble a bit, threatening to put an end to the surface tension holding it together. Daniel felt a pang of fear shoot through him. "Don't touch that, sweety~", Violet called out in a playful but very real warning. Audienne reluctantly withdrew his claws and contented himself with spectating for the time being. The last bits of Daniel's memory and brain power flew into the flimsy, transparent sphere that was now taking up a third of the space from the floor to the ceiling. He was confused; despite the feeling of dread fading slightly, he was still....him. He still felt the same. Or did he? Now that he was concentrating, he realised that he felt a bit disconnected in a way he couldn't explain. Like he could lose himself due to a weak grasp on his identity or something. If that undulating bubble floated away, so would he. His stomach churned in perverse, unwelcome anticipation. Violet grabbed the sides of his beaked head and continued. "Now I want you to know what's going to happen to that adorably helpless bubble up there. It-". Violet paused, a bit uncharacteristic of him when he was getting into the flow of things. He was about to say something to the effect of 'it's going to drain away', but he'd already done that one. Also, this type of magic WAS quite flexible...... He had a brainwave, and smirked. After a glance upwards to confirm the chair containing Daniel was beneath one of the wooden perches lining the walls, he continued. "Thoughts are such silly little things, don't you think? They weigh you down and make you soooooo very miserable, don't they? They just feel sooo veeeeeery heavy!", Violet crooned as was really getting into it now, "But you know that even though they feel that way, they aren't actually heavy. At the end of the day eeeeeeeeveryone knows thoughts are really really light. They're not light as air, no no no! They're even lighter~", he stood like a sexy harbinger in front of Daniel with a hand high on his waist. Not a harbinger of doom necessarily, but certainly something Daniel wasn't all too thrilled about, even if a part of him was ashamedly excited. "So when I say 'go', you'll feel all those light thoughts start to drift to the highest point in your body like little bubbles of air trapped in a water balloon. They'll start to fiiiill and expand, pulling up and trying to escape their prison~", he went down on his knees again and traced his talons on the sides of Daniel's strong legs. Down, down, down all the way to his foot talons. Daniel was a bit perplexed. Highest point? Violet was clearly obsessed with his legs and feet down there..... wouldn't his thoughts just stay in his head if they started to rise? Violet wasn't quite done yet. "Imagine yourself as a balloon of sorts. Made out of a stretchy rubber, at least for a short while. When this is all done and you turn normal again you'll be even better than you are right now cutie~", he stopped, satisfied with almost everything in place. "Oops, almost forgot! When that bubble is finally gone, Daniel will be gone too. Oh Audienne!", he called upon his assistant, "What would be a better name for our friend here? A name like the one he has now but......suited to his body a bit more?" Audienne was happy to be included again. He regarded the feminine, yet still masculine body that Daniel resided in with a familiar 'hmmmm', a claw on his beak and a wiggle of his tail feathers. He thought hard, wracking his brain as far as it would go before finally having a lightbulb moment. "How about Daniela!?" Violet had to put all his effort into stopping himself from bursting out with laughter, almost losing his hold on Daniel. His voice was as sweet as ever though. "That's...erm.....that's great Audienne, really~", he cleared his throat, "but how about....", now it was his turn to be stumped for just a brief moment. Da...De.....Du...... ".....Dune!", he exclaimed. Audienne started bouncing. "That's, like, perfect!" Violet returned to Daniel. "When your head is nice and empty, all that dirty old life cleaned out to leave your brain nice and shiny and smooth, you'll realise that you were always meant to be Dune......the sweet, sexy, submissive little dancing birdy that exists to please others. You'll put your heart and soul into every performance, and all of your passion into me and Audienne~" The hypnosis started to fade but the magic remained. Daniel started to gain just a bit of control of his muscles though his movements were incredibly sluggish. Without warning Violet grabbed both of Daniel’s feet and lifted them above his head, pulling him from the chair slightly. His head was now on the seat of the chair, back straight and tail beneath him. He then heard what he dreaded. Violet snapped open his beak, took a deep breath and sighed out one word in a long, drawn out syllable. "Go~" He could still see the bubble from his current position. Tiny white spots were appearing on the top, small bubbles forming out of the larger one. They started detaching and escaping completely, bubbling like champagne on top of the large bubble before flying off and popping gently in the air with a fizzing sound. His legs felt....weird. A slight tingling went through them while watched as the large bubble lost an imperceptible amount of mass. Almost like....he could feel tiny bubbles running along the inside of the legs all the way down his thighs, calves and then ending up in his toes. His scale-covered toes felt odd. They weren't numb but they were.....lighter. He tried feebly to right himself to no avail. He grit what would have been his teeth if he still had them, and tried to muster some strength, lifting his head a bit before falling back down. During the time his head had been higher than his chest, it had almost felt like the sensation had lessened. He didn't have the energy to try again, though. This whole situation was weird but he had to look at the facts presented to him. It really did seem like something was escaping out of his head like bubbles and traveling down his body, in the direction opposite to the pull of gravity. Daniel tried to catch his breath. Violet was no longer locking him in his hypnotic gaze, yet he still felt like he was under its influence. Daniel just had to....Give. A. Hard. Push. Easier said than done, he realised as he listened to the fizzing in the background. His new muscles would not obey him properly. Daniel suddenly realised something; Violet had let go of his feet. Then why were they.....? He glanced down. His legs were still floating in the air in front of him, suspended by his toes that felt....fuller. No way, he thought. The freaky magical bird had been right, he was like a balloon right now! He tried pulling his legs down, but he couldn't get them down completely with his knees to his chest, and released them after exerting some more effort. His toes floated lazy back up and straightened his feathered legs with the tension. He tried again, but it was even more difficult this time. His four toes felt lighter still, and the feeling had spread to his avian feet. Daniel wiggled his toes, producing a strangely pleasing sensation. He gathered himself, drew in a breath and tried one last time. He was barely able to bend his knees 80 degrees before he ran out of steam and let all of the tension in his muscles go, intending to take a breather. Instead, his legs snapped back up with such force that he was momentarily lifted almost fully into the air before floating down again gently, the weight of his upper body keeping him on the chair for the time being. His eyes were wild. That was close. Oddly enough the force wasn't exactly painful. He grabbed the sides of the chair and tried to pull himself down. It didn't help since his legs were still floating above him, anchored to his body like lillypads floating above water. His head felt lighter. He was running out of time. Daniel let go and tried to reach his legs with his claws. He managed to hook each claw behind a knee. Together with his leg muscles he was able to tug his legs down again lower. He lifted his head a bit and looked at them. Had they swollen a bit? The changing bird gasped a bit as he started feeling even weirder. A feeling came over him akin to lightheadedness, though it wasn't really unpleasant. It was more like a comfortable white noise in his head. The feeling faded a bit but he could feel his brain bubbling down through his chest and stomach a bit quicker than it was before. Despite himself he relaxed a little bit. The feeling of lightness had filled him all the way to the knees and his toes felt like they had real pressure inside them now. In a moment of weakness without the will to fight it, Daniel felt his entire body lift up from the chair still holding his legs. Violet had just one more detail to add. "I should mention that if your claws touch the ceiling, that's kinda like an instant loss! Have fun~" This wasn't true exactly but it would be way more fun to watch. Daniel started panicking again in a second of enhanced clarity. He was floating! And headed straight for the ceiling! He had to go grab on to something. Luckily, he was right below one of those wooden perches, he noticed. If he could just....just reach it!. While he was rising quite slowly, he was already too far up to grab at the chair. He had already let go of his legs and was now dangling upside down with his traitor-feet pulling him ever skyward. Looking at the room upside down in front of him, he saw the other two birds with his same body. Though a bit disoriented, he could easily tell which was which either by taking half a glance at their forms as a whole or just looking at their expressions. The one once called Adrian had an ever-present look of awe and wonderment at Violet's capabilities. Violet himself looked like he could barely contain his glee at Daniel's uncommon plight. Daniel tried to grab onto the perch from the bottom as it passed him with his grippy feet, but he still didn't have enough control over his new anatomy to make it work. When his upper body sailed past, he desperately grabbed it with his arms, hugging it tightly. The buoyant sensation from his feet was getting stronger and the general feeling of lightness had spread all the way to his hips. It didn't seem to want to creep much higher though and was just getting more intense where it was as time went on. From his position here, he couldn't see Violet's eyes anymore. He hoped the effects of the hypnosis would wear off, allowing him to have the strength of will to pull himself down. He had to get his feet lower than his head! Careful not no let go of his support, he tried to pull himself down a bit. Daniel felt just a little stronger now, but the tugging from his legs was too much. His feelings of fear had slowly started to dissipate. Daniel realised that this wasn't good; his will to fight was cheerfully bubbling up into his legs and feet. He stopped straining himself and the recoil made him slip a bit. Now he was gripping the narrow wooden platform with only his clawed hands, wrapped around on either side with his nails digging into the material sharply. He glanced with a new, casual indifference at the bubble, from above this time. Instead of the champagne-like bubbling from earlier, now bubbles the size of golf balls were escaping and popping loudly. In tandem, he could feel his calves and thighs feeling the rising pressure. He blanked out for a bit staring at the popping bubbles, mesmerised. Combined with the feeling of his lower body being lifted like this it was....quite nice, actually. Down below Violet noticed the small shift in behaviour and approved. "I think our toy is about to have a change of heart, Audienne~", he promised to the avian next to him. "Like, Yay! More sexy friends!", came an enthusiastic response. Daniel decided that he really enjoyed this! He swayed his legs a bit from side to side and started kicking lightly as though swimming while he started gaining mass down below. His rear, thighs, calves and footclaws started to grow, like they sensed his resignation. The bubble in his vision, and his very self, continued boiling away to their new home in his lower body. He heard one of the other birds giggling in delight. Wait, no.....that sound came from him! He tittered again with a happy smile gracing his beaky face. His first happy expression in his new form. He felt so light and full of air! Even in his head! His entire body from head to waist to legs to toes was buzzing with energy. The last of the bubble and Daniel disappeared in one large final push. Both were gone from his head, and Dune finally let go of the perch feeling absolutely ecstatic, fully indulging into the wonderful floaty feeling. He drifted upwards for a moment before the buoyant effects of his legs fully wore off, righted himself in midair and landed gracefully with his footclaws gripping the perch and arms out to his side for balance. "I'm flying~", he sang as he gazed down on his new roommates from high above, surveying the whole room with a new view on life. Audienne squealed and rubbed his legs together, simply happy to have a new playmate. Violet, as always, seemed very pleased with himself. Dune stood there for a few moments, just experiencing the moment and sighing contentedly. He wasn't thinking about anything other than the sensation of perching near the roof and flexing his powerful talons gripping the wooden platform firmly. For a moment he almost wondered if his feet had always been that way, or that size. Dune's footclaws had swollen just a bit larger than that of both Violet and Audienne. His calves had grown as well, and so had his thighs, hips and ass. It would be inaccurate to describe his build as in between Violet and Audienne. It was more like someone had taken Audienne and squeezed part of his juiciness a bit lower down. In a strange and roundabout way, that was exactly what had happened. Both were lugging around who they used to be inside modified bodies, memories and unused mental capacity forming enticing curves that begged to be squeezed and caressed. Every time the memories were massaged or even so much as jostled, there was the risk that they would permanently dissolve and be melted into the flesh. Technically before that occurred the memories could be retrieved by another magic user with the necessary skills. Here at the kinky club on the outskirts of a city that cared little for what happened to its people, that was unlikely to occur. Violet was certain he would have plenty of time to gently tease, squeeze and have them dance until there was nothing left of their icky human pasts. Dune finally felt ready to come down. He leapt to a lower perch and landed on one leg with his arms lifted daintily and carefree as if skipping. He then jumped down to the warm tiled floor, landing lightly on his bird-like toes with knees bent. Audienne came bounding up to him. "Like, how do you feel?", he asked putting his hands on Dune's shoulders. His kind-of-copy responded with an equally high-pitched voice. "Fantastic, Audy~ Why wouldn't I? I'm with my favouritest people!". They embraced lightly, separated again and then started making out with open beaks. This time, the passionate display was mutual. Violet let his pets have some fun, instead heading to a wardrobe on the wall opposite the door. He wasn't a big fan of stuffy clothes; there were only two loose-fitting robes hanging there, one a bright red and the other a vivid emerald green. He'd given the red one to Audienne. Looks like I'll need to donate my other spare to Dune, he thought as glanced back at his own deep blue cloak he'd still left back at the door. He grabbed the item he was after from a box of 'fun stuff' from the bottom of the wardrobe and returned to the duo going at it. "Alright that's enough you two! Dune, I've got a present for you~" Violet lifted up a thinly-banded black collar with a bright magenta inset in the middle; the same colour as the trio's primary feather colour. It would go nicely against the lighter, creamy pink on the front of his neck. As Dune and Audienne broke apart, Violet lifted up the collar and fastened it around his other twin's neck. One last thing..... he fiddled with the fluffy feathers on top of Dune's head, changing his apparent hair style to one where thick feathery strands hung forwards to just above his eyes. "There~ Totally unique!" Dune gasped as he felt at the tight material locked around his neck. "I love it~ Thanks Violet!" Audienne seemed a bit jealous and pouty. "Awwwww, I want a collar too!" "It wouldn't do you any good Audienne, no one would be able to see it with their eyes so far down~", Violet tried to reason. "Besides, people need to be able to tell you two apart just a little bit easier". Audienne wasn't convinced and Dune seemed a bit guilty. "I can share it with you Audy, if you want?", he offered. This seemed to cheer the other one up a bit. Violet sighed. Sometimes there was nothing to be done, he supposed. He glided around behind both of them, playfully slapping their rears simultaneously. He took great satisfaction in pushing them just a little further from their old human selves, their tails instinctively raising higher from the delicious impact as Daniel and Adrian vanished a bit more, a piece of each now lost forever. "How about you show Dune the moves, Audienne?", he suggested sweetly. "You're the best qualified to show him what a big bird butt can do!" They both seemed to like that idea a lot. Several hours later, the floor in the Dancing Delights club was abuzz. After the crowd had seen the usual apple-green feathered beauty with his cage routine, and the red-feathered bird (the one from the screen proudly displaying him in front of the building) work his stuff, it was time for the main attraction. Violet had always been well-liked since the club's recent opening but his new mysterious, physically gifted 'twin' had proven to be even more of a darling to the masses. A machine's voice rang out above the thumping of the loud music in the large chamber. "Connoisseurs of the flesh! I am very pleased to introduce a new Dancing Delight tonight, appearing for the first time in a joint show", there was a slight murmur of disappointment from the floor. Where was Audienne? The voice continued. "We present to you a three course meal..... the lovely appetiser, Violet! The meaty main course, Audienne! Lastly....our newest addition for your viewing pleasure.....the delicious dessert, Dune!". The crowd was into the groove again immediately as the curtains rose to reveal the three nearly-identical stars, proudly showing off their bodies to the adoring fans. This was going to be good show.
