Summary: The thief fennec Arkose is led to a sarcophagus by the scent of treasure. Part of a mimic's lure, which he only discovers well after the point of no return. Not only is he grabbed, stripped and then wrapped in bandages, but when a trio of bandits arrives to loot the place, they choose to take the moaning mimic with them, fennec and all.

Arkose’s knife was perfectly thin enough to slip through the small crack in the sandy tinted stonework. The fennec thief had to reel his excitement in, one of the dangerous parts of having a nose for treasure was the anticipation demanded he clear the various traps and tricks in the way as soon as possible. He heard a faint click, saw a pressure panel sink to the floor as it was disrupted from the mechanism and then he could breathe a happy sigh. The treasury door lay open already and with the last trap dealt with he could finally see what his work had brought him to.

Excitement took hold now, Arkose’s tail flapping happily as he peered within, neat ordered chests with an abundance of wealth piled between them, half burying them and the multiple ornamental tools on display in riches and wealth. With the royal line that once held this place long since vanished it was he that would claim it, or at least all the best bits he could carry. Glinting coins, shaped jade, even one chest that contained no doubt precious and valuable knowledge in locked up books.

There was plenty to choose from, more than he could bear on his own if he had a whole cart but the scent of treasure still wafted from the last item he hadn’t looked in, one he’d saved for last. A jewelled sarcophagus which rested against the wall.

Arkose headed to it, a simple catch held it shut along a thin line, time for the knife to pry it. He bowed his head, shut his eyes and offered an apology. “Hopefully you spent everything in the next life already, sorry for the intrusion.” It wasn’t the most sincere thing, but hey, who was keeping score? The bones?

His knife barely tickled the catch before the door sprang abruptly open of its own volition, yet more alarming than that were the many amber eyes that he’d mistaken for- or rather had been disguised as- jewels. Before he could stagger back the mimic struck, pink flesh and purple tendrils reaching out in a rush. His knife-wrist was caught and he was pulled close. Hands finding a suddenly toothy edge to grip and brace himself on as he fought back.

“No no! Get off!” He demanded, straining to find purchase against the magical creature. Another pink tentacle swung out, grabbing the fennec by the neck, pulling him down, closer to the toothy row. His attention was now fully on those teeth, he had to keep away from them or else it could spell the end, all part of the mimic’s instinct driven intentions. His snared arm grew more enmeshed, his other hand feeling tendrils slipping over the fingers, yet if he released his grip hi neck would soon be testing whether the teeth were for show or not!

His feet were slipping, scraping on the stone as he held on. Once it had detected him getting closer still the mimic swapped directions, pushing him, making him lose balance at the sudden change and then reeling in. “Aaaaah!” He flew over the line of the teeth and into the soft pink fleshy interior. The lid snapped shut behind him throwing him into darkness as what he could only assume was every tendril the mimic had sprang to life, squeezing his limbs, pulling him deeper, one even catching between his teeth and holding his tongue down while preventing him from the leverage he’d need to bite.

Arkose tried to bring his knife against the creature, yet it was already grasping the blade and hilt on its own, wrestling it out of his grip, so too was it removing everything else!

A boot slid off to one pull, the hem of his tunic was intruded under while another slithered along the collar. He even felt the grossing tentacles going down his sleeves, pulling the shirt with them. Buckles snapped under the strain as the thief was stripped of everything he had in short order and through it all he couldn’t so much as shout at the beast. Only hearing the occasional slap of the lid as out of his view the mimic spat all he had into a pile about the room according to its value.

“Mnngh!” He growled, all the same, before he felt a sudden, alarming tug on his tail, the fifth limb wrapped and pulled up almost as if- “Mhhgh!” A slithering fleshy nub burrowed underneath it, plugging and then stretching, pushing inside as if looking for any other hidden goods.

The pulsing push distracted the fennec, stiffening his limbs and leaving them weakened, a fatal error as his legs and arms were snapped tightly down, wrapping coils squeezing over him.

Teased by the intrusion as he was, he’d also pushed inadvertently into the walls with his rod, something the mimic seized hold of tightly as though it thought it a hidden knife and even tried to tug, making him quiver and whimper all the more.

Rounded yet dextrous nubs gave one last salacious brush over his fur before the stripping tendrils pulled away, whereas those holding and violating him stayed quite certainly in place. It was uncommon behaviour for the mimics Arkose had met, usually they were a deal more perilous. His thoughts spun, the mimic must have been just another trap, intentionally set for grave robbers rather than an invading monster that preyed on overconfident adventurers.

Still he found it plenty invading, the questing tendril within him pulled out and then bunched up only to slither back in, it was definitely doing that on purpose.

Some new pattern in the mimic’s motions stirred up below him, sliding tendrils crawled along his slickened fur, trailing something in their wake. An absorbent cloth bandage that used the moisture to tighten down. Magic thrummed in the air as the mimic fabricated the cloth from multiple angles brushing it, catching and pulling it.

“Mmmh??” He gulped around the thick tendril that was obstructing his mouth as the binding tentacles relented only when the newest ones came along. The pressure grew at his legs and arms simultaneously, it had assessed his most mobile parts and started there, tucking the bandage to wrap his limbs individually before going over them in a double coating. His tail, head and torso were covered up almost as an afterthought.

The soaked bandages creaked loudly as the mimic pulled at them with many tendrils, the squeezing was almost crushing in its totality, squashing a breath from Arkose’s lungs and wrapping the hapless thief’s arms as strainingly tight as they could be before his already covered legs were bound and mummified into one. A tentacle brushed along his nose, uncovering it with more tendrils unwrapping his eyes, for all the good it did him.

He braced himself, thinking, or perhaps hoping the mimic was preparing to jettison him too. He was already helpless, even with those revealed senses, at best he’d be able to worm along the floor to hope he could reach his knife.

Yet even though the wrapping was completed, with the mimic concluding there was no more left to add, it didn’t release him. Instead the tendrils dipped away once again before thick, meatier ones peeled up. His entire form was assailed, a thick tendril massaged and tickled his luscious ears, a trio of them cradled his head, brushing his bandaged cheeks and crown, fighting him as his body squirmed. Thicker still were the pair that brushed up and down his front from nipple to navel, and more still moved to outright coil. Holding his legs and tail jealously, tugging them around to fight his desperate resistance.

Soft walls squashed in wherever the tentacles didn’t sprout, the head kneading clump kept the top end of him down, the chest strokers pushing back if he tried to bend his spine and the leg coilers reeling him down whenever he resisted there.

The tentacles also hadn’t let their earlier intrusions go to waste. His now solid and firm cock had a terribly interested tentacle plucking at it, rolling along, wiggling and tugging while that delving anal intruder made sure to have him squeal. His body shivered as it exploited him. He had experienced his share of peril and of restraint, the shadow of which had awoken things in him, things that this mimic seemed to be built to exploit.

As minutes passed in that molested stalemate, his stamina was draining as too his will to resist. He felt a burgeoning below his waist, his body hesitating, as if afraid that giving in would lead to a fate that was somehow more grim than what he was facing, yet his mind also couldn’t persuade him to hold it. Better to enjoy it before it was all too late…

His body spasmed and even bound as it was, it still arched, with the tentacles assertively pushing and pulling him down as the climax rocked over him. His seed spurting free under that constant torment.

‘Please, spit me out or let me rest’ he begged of it in his thoughts, yet it slowed only for a moment, as if adjusting its grip before it was back to teasing him once again. ‘No!’ He groaned out loudly into the bandages. His mind tried to bury the stimulation by thinking all he knew of mimics.

The closest match he could think of was the kind that drank magic from their target, particularly cruel matches to mages with greater mana, was it trying to drain from him? All the fatal mimics should have started something by now.

With his brain pinging from one type to another, hoping that identifying it might remind him of some weakness, his passions soon took over again, his thoughts leaning in, gyrating and this time almost begging the mimic not to stop…

It had to have been at least an hour and four counts of teased out orgasm by Arkose’s count when he heard something over the wet squishing and steady creak of his mummification. “Aww man, this place is the shit!” A raspy voice called.

“Yeah, all the traps are either misfired or broken, who’da thought we’d be able to just walk in and help ourselves.” A wheedling voice chimed in.

“That’s assuming it doesn’t try to lock us in here.” A softer voice said.

“No shit, dumbass, that’s why I told you to wait outside! Watch for any surprises.” Raspy said. “Man, all these treasures and they’re ours for the taking, shame there wasn’t anyone trying to grab ‘em first, I was hopin’ for a fight or something.”

They did not sound friendly, yet who was he to judge other ruin raiders. “Mmmmh! Mmmmph!” He called out, swallowing the insult of them searching through what he assuredly considered his loot. They didn’t even slow down or seem to acknowledge him.

He could hear them just fine, could they not hear him in turn?!

“Eww, some of it’s wet!” Wheedling moaned, throwing aside the garments that had recently adorned the helpless and unseen fennec. Feet stomped over to him, had they noticed the mimic’s position and the presumed trail of spittle that should mark it? Did they maybe have his ability to sniff out treasures?

He kicked and whined again, putting his all into it before he felt a tightening clench around his throat and muzzle, the tentacles wrapped up fully as if trying to gag him and keep him even longer.

“Hey, Meeka, what’cha think of this?” Wheedling voice asked. It was Raspy who replied, claiming the name.

“Do ya even need to ask? It looks more than promising.”

‘Yes!’ Thought Arkose as he tried to squeal again, barely audible to his own ears. He felt motion, the box was moving, he narrowed his eyes, preparing for the flood of light. It didn’t come, instead he felt a slow swaying movement. _‘No no, come on you dolts, open it up!’ _

The mimic was equally perturbed by the motion though for opposing reasons, it clenched down harder, more of the tendrils wrapping over, trying to pull and push, enough that it gave up teasing him in its attempt to subdue what it was perhaps seeing as his escape attempts. Not just fully enveloping him in the grasp of tentacles but squashing him in a second layer of bandages. The creaks and rubs and flurry of motion made it hard for him to make out what the trio were saying to each other, yet his tuned ears heard the jangle of coins as they helped themselves. There was a moment of quiet as he was passed from the wheedling voiced to the softer voiced one with an instruction of. “Take it outside, Kav, then come back to grab a share.”

When Arkose’s prison was finally placed down, he was completely smothered in tendrils, ranging from thick to thin, with them squeezing and massaging on even after another climax fogged his mind and stole his thoughts.

It was only several minutes before the trio returned, the small hand-cart he was stowed on vibrated, loud clashes of metal on metal from the pieces of shiny pilfered loot clacking against each other.

The mimic had decided it was taking no chances, holding that squeezing grip, routinely constricting and kneading him, the journey seemed interminable as they travelled along rough paths. He picked up the wheedling voice’s name to be Batay from the number of times Meeka chided him for not pushing enough.

If they couldn’t hear him before he at least wasn’t surprised they couldn’t hear him now, his nose was afforded just enough space to avoid suffocation but then blocked whenever he tried to make noise, the double wrap and tentacles dampened any sound before it could travel.

Outside his box his carriers stopped, offloading a good few items before he heard the sliding sound of the lid being rubbed then the sensation of the box being drawn out.

“Alright, let's take a proper look in here!” Batay yelled in joy.

“Hang on, don’t you see them eyes? You’ll lose your hand if you just shove it in.” Kav mumbled.

“Pff, that’s what this is for!” He said before pausing, presumably to show off what he had.

A feeling of atmospheric change happened as the stifling warmth of his prison was opened to cooler air, the mimic roared in outrage and tried to snap.

“Yeah, yeah, toothy, drink up.” Batay chided, letting it rant and squeeze Arkose before it began to slow down, bested by a sudden lethargy. The fennec felt the change in its grip as it was weakened by the drugging potion.

When it had grown still four rough hands grabbed at Arkose, tugging off the tentacles and exposing the bandaged form. One of the still clinging tentacles brushed along his eye line, dragging the extra bandage back enough for him to peek out. He saw his potential rescuer and let out a loud “Mmh!” gathering their attention.

His eyes adjusted and almost wished they hadn’t, a rough looking brown spotted hyena head grinned down at him with a sense that made him feel suddenly even further from rescue than before. “Well hey there, treasure. Surprised you ain’t passed out yet.” The voice was Batay’s everything about his build looked wiry and opportunistic, his bandit’s attire only underlining the fact he probably never took a fight straight on. The other set of hands peeled away enough that the two of them began to scoop into the mass and lift Arkose free. He let out an embarrassing squeak as the tentacle inside of him caught and needed a solid tug for them to pop him free of it.

“Don’t you love it when one treasure holds another one inside? I’d act surprised but I never was much for acting.” Meeka said.

‘What does that mean?’ Arkose wondered, letting out another muffled cry for assistance from them. Meeka and Kav were revealed to also be hyenas, with Meeka the strongest looking member of the group and Kav the stoutest. They all shared that scrappy look, like they spent their lives recovering from a narrowly won fist-fight, with Batay being the only one who looked on the losing end of those.

“What? Don’t you get it?” Meeka asked, on seeing his expression. “We followed you in! Shame you found this beauty face first so we didn’t have to fight you, but you’d have been going into it anyway, haha!” Arkose’s face blushed in confusion and outrage, his teased ardour picturing that ambush, of him struggling as sturdy hands pushed him into the hungry beast. The thoughts were chased away as he was dropped on the ground and immediately started trying to struggle, but he’d already been wrung dry of his stamina. “That everything?” She asked Batay, who was rummaging around within the mimic.

“Yeah, just him. I call dibs!” He said.

“On which end?” Meeka asked in amusement.

“The prepped one.”

“Oi, Kav, you want in on this? I’ll finish stowing the loot.” Meeka asked with a chuckle. Sure enough the larger hyena walked over siding on the ground beside the fennec.

“Sure. I wanted the top end anyway.” If there had been any question of what they meant it vanished as the two males tugged at their belts and crotches, one dropping fabric, the other simply weaving through it. Arkose struggled all the more with the last ounces of energy that he could summon as Batay’s hands rolled him onto his front and scooped under him, sights clearly on his recently tentacled rear. Kav’s hand grabbed him by the ear, firmly pulling up to grab some of the bandages away from Arkose’s mouth. “You better play nicer than we do.” He warned just before tweaking enough to let him speak. “After all, those other sarcophagi didn’t have treasure, I’m sure no one would notice a few more bones than usual if we dumped you in one and found a pit.”

Arkose gulped and nodded. He started to suspect they had no plans on letting him go when they’d immediately turned to his vulnerability but if he fought that would almost guarantee an end to his journeys. He gave another soft nod, directed more to himself, thinking he might as well try to enjoy it until he turned the tables later.

“Good little toy.” Kav stated before his hand fell on Arkose’s head, pulling him toward the grown rod.

“Mmmh….” He groaned as the hyena’s length slid past his lips, followed with a choked ‘Ghhg!” as in the same moment the big one pulled his head closer than he wanted, making him take it in deep and the wiry one thrust into his rump, sliding along the slickness that had been left.

“Oh, oh yeah.” Batay whispered while Tav just sighed wordlessly.

Batay’s grip hardened on Arkose, pulling him back into his thrusting while Tav held him from being able to pull away. The two set a rhythm between them, bouncing the wrapped fennec to and fro, taking liberal use of both sides as they lost themselves to their entertainment. Even Meeka had stopped unloading their haul to watch for a bit.

Batay finished first, possibly since Arkose’s resistance made him strain more. But also that while Arkose wasn’t biting or punishing the intrusion in his mouth, he was making damn sure not to help it out either.

The hyena didn’t decouple, however, instead he shoved the back of Arkose’s head further, making sure he was worked hard until Kav started to moan and groan more audibly. “Move over Batay.” Meeka said, tagging in.

The hyena took a few moments to calm down and prepare himself before sliding out of the way, basking in his bliss. The fennec however felt something new, he was pulled up, off his knees, legs lifted into the air as Meeka hauled him up, making him wheelbarrow on Kav’s length. The changing angle made the hyena lie backwards, thrusting up into the air with joy, his hands and one of the woman’s leather clad paws pushing on his head as the second climax was reached, invading Arkose’s mouth.

“Good thing the mimic saw to your needs, means I don’t have to feel guilty about how I’m gonna use ya.” She said, lifting Arkose up off the euphoric hyena a good deal later than he would have preferred.

He spat to the side, clearing his mouth before managing to still his nerves enough to talk. “You’ve made your points but you can’t really believe I’ll be fun like this, put me down and get me out of this! At least gimme my hands so I can really show you a good time.”

“Pfft, as good as it’d be to feel those digits dance, no way. Thief types can never be trusted with their fingers free. I should know.” She said in glee.

“Oh for- let me out of this stupid wrapping!”

“You really ain’t in the place to be demanding things. But maybe I’ll feel generous enough to take them off soon. In the meantime-” She sat against the wall of their hideout and thrust her hand into his mouth, fingers holding along his jaw, it was far from pleasant though it was still better than Kav’s dick. Her other hand rooted around for a cloth which she dragged through, knotting it around his head before smoothing the bandages back to cover Arkose’s eyes. He growled and spat through it, outraged at his sight being pilfered once more.

The fennec had to go by feeling, with his mouth stopped from aiding him the hyena woman pushed him down, turning him until his top end rested between her heels. Her hands fell on his ankles, pulling them into her lap and then pressing something between his paws, first to break some of the wrapping then to thrust between them.

“First time with a hyena chick?” She asked with glee as she made use of his bondage to toy with herself. Thrusting her pseudo junk through a rip in the bandages that let it poke through while still being tight enough to prevent him pulling his ankles away. “It ain’t as big as the boys’ but you’ll get lots of time to learn how I use it.”

Arkose didn’t like that sound of that, fighting and squirming once again, though with her hands and hips moving so much more confidently than he could, he was hers to play with. As minutes dragged by, she let out a long purr of arousal.

She stopped herself, slipping him off and then standing. “Treat me right and I’ll make sure you get a treat.” She teased while grabbing the fennec’s head and ungagging him only to thrust his nose to her pelvis and fill his jaws. His knees and feet hit the ground as he tried to squirm, the standing hyena holding him in deep till his choice was to suffocate or oblige.

Meeka took her eyes off him as she held on, seeing the boys had already prepared what was next made her thrust with another jolt of arousal. Feelings had been trickling up her spine, but she finally let go, her own bliss making itself known in a rush. Arkose had to endure that too before she casually let go of him, his bad balance making him flop onto his front as he hacked and coughed, appreciating the fresh air once again.

It was humiliating, degrading, all three had found a use to satisfy themselves on the fennec. Yet still, he wouldn’t let them see the path of his thoughts, particularly those more treacherous ones. “What, that all you got?” He spat as he squirmed, the vigorous uses had hiked up some of the bandages, letting his fluff poke out.

“Ooo, cocky one. I like it.” Meeka rasped with a cackle. “Since you’re being such a good sport about it, maybe we’ll give you another little gift. Think of it as a token of our thanks for clearing the way to the loot.”

Hands fell on him, making him twist and kick in panic, fighting to hold back any insults that might set them off, only for a soft wash of relief as he felt some of the bandages loosening, being split and cut away.

One of his hands was wrestled free of the wrapping, with his arm instinctively going to start freeing the other, before a heavy hyena hand closed over the forearm and jerked it up. “Oh c’mon I can get out of this myself.” He stated in exasperation.

“Ol’ Kav’s just excited to give you your gift, right?” Meeka said as if it was an explanation. Something new slid over his wrist, catching his fingers- it was a mitten, solid leather that had cramped pockets for each of his digits.

“Wait, wait!” He said. “You assholes better not!”

“As I said, we don’t let thieves have their fingers.” Meeka teased, Arkose’s other hand was wrenched out and the wrist soon felt a strap snagged over the top of it, too. They buckled the restraints on tight before he was wrestled onto his back, arms bent so that his hands were at his shoulders. More leather chased the first set, binders with a padded base fixed to where his elbow was held.

A set of four straps held each binder firmly, after which they were more liberal in removing the bandages. It didn’t matter if he could see them now, so even his head was unwrapped. All that really changed was to let him see Bakay standing over him, snickering with another slightly larger binder in his grip.

“What is this, you weirdos? You already got the loot and my services.”

“Oh, the mimic’s a real treasure for sure but little upstart thieves sell just as well. And if dressed up cute we can do more than get our money’s worth.” Bakay laughed

“Sell?! You’re going to try to sell me?!” He demanded, Meeka’s hand at his chest pushed him back to the ground as she caught his chin, sliding a sturdy leather muzzle over his snout.

“With a catch like you. We won’t even need to try to get a good profit. But maybe we’re not gonna sell you if you can put that body to use for us.” She teased. Arkose was flustered by the comment and the insinuations but he couldn’t vocalise it once the three-strap harness had closed around his head. “I like a bit of brat in my catches though, so don’t roll over too quick if you want to stay with us instead.” She teased. His legs were wrestled into the thick binders, bent at the knee and strapped on securely. Heavily bound yet still afforded more motion than when mummified, he hissed at his captor as she brushed where his fur poked free.

“We’ve gotta go do some things with the mimic, now. So I guess we’ll leave you for a bit.” Kav said when he and Batay were done securing the straps.

“I can think of three outcomes for you. Come follow us deeper into the cave if you want more private fun don’t worry, we’ll still play rough if you want it. Second, you can struggle and try to get free before we come back. Or I suppose you see if you can figure out how to run away like that. We’ll give you a headstart and all. Though there’s dangerous monsters out there.” Meeka said to Arkose once she’d followed up with an inspection, tightening a couple of buckles by another distance.

The trio left, laughing between themselves making sure that any cutting or useful tool was out of easy range before they did.

The prospect of trying to run had been the first one Arkose had discarded. The likelihood he met someone that would help was so slim when he considered other potentials; more bandits, the monsters they’d mentioned, other natural hazards and even the highly probable case that he found nothing and exhausted himself by trying to flee.

His mind also warred with itself over what his captors would interpret from his actions. If he tried to flee would they be the kind to punish and further secure him if they caught up? But if he was still here when they came back, would it send another message?

He growled to himself, the surest path was to get loose from what he had then either ambush them in turn, or simply steal what he could reclaim and run off.

While he’d been left on all fours- his elbows and knees- he figured out quickly that it wouldn’t help him out to stay that way. The mittens over his hands were sturdy enough that he already knew it was useless to rely on his fingers. He’d have to squeeze his way out of the buckled straps instead.

Rolling onto his side against a sturdy crate that seemed to serve for a table, he started by brushing his shoulder against it, over and over, rubbing the binder on the corner. It was heavy enough to work as a sturdy object and as tight as the straps had been pulled, Arkose was on the smaller side, giving him some more wiggle room than others might have.

The one restraint started to shift a little but it was slow going, with the fennec having no idea how much time he had. For the first time since it had sucked him in however, he was glad the mimic had taken such lengths to stimulate him. Between that and the hyenas, his head was able to clear itself of kink-tainted distractions.

Damn it, this was taking too long. His arm needed a rest besides, instead he turned to his leg, rolling his eyes internally as he felt within seconds the same amount of progress there as had taken minutes to achieve with his arms.

Working back and forth as hard as he could, he slowly shifted the leg until it started to move, inching the closest strap within reach of his toes, it strained the muscles, even risking to cramp his foot, yet he pushed through. The leather would likely survive his claws long enough to waste whatever time he had, so he had to focus on prying over cutting.

More seconds passed, the leather creaking, the fennec’s breathing getting more intense when he let go, yet in his focus he was otherwise silent. Soon it was looking far less neat, a good show of his progress. His foot had slipped within the binder, helping him push it slowly but surely down a thigh, struggling to get past that bend yet gradually making progress.

His mind bloomed with sudden branching possibilities while he worked rhythmically at the binder. With a leg free could he get to his arm? Should he focus on the other leg instead and just run? He could always ditch the other binders later, plus with his mobility restored he could outrun most of the potential dangers if he kept a low profile…

He needn’t have worried about what he’d do next. Heavy footfalls echoed in his ears for a few seconds before he realised what it meant. By then it was too late, the three hyenas already stared down at him. “Time’s up, shorty. Good of you to stay in the open for us.” Batay cackled as he and Meeka seized him once more. They didn’t seem interested in his progress, outright ignoring the almost loose binder.

“Mmmh!! Mnhghhn!!” He squeaked, folded nub-like limbs flailing in the air, almost comically from how little it dissuaded the easy pace of his captors. They carried him deeper into the cave, to the chamber they’d been occupying. Meeka’s hand roughly grabbed the back of his head, turning it to look at the sarcophagus-mimic, as dormant and camouflaged as it had appeared at first. Kav had a long pole which he pushed forward, disturbing a wedge they’d set up and opening it, tentacles lashed out in reply and with a “One, two- Three!”. The two hyenas launched Arkose into their grip.

“Mmmh!” His flight was short lived as the tendrils flexed and grabbed him, snapping him out of the air. With his position this much more compromised it didn’t even threaten him with the teeth. He felt the loose leg-binder removed in the ensuing squeeze yet his limb met more tentacles rather than free air. The lid flipped just enough to squeeze him in and then slammed shut behind him.

As it had before, the tentacles fell on Arkose, rubbing over his body, though rather than having clothing to remove, he had heavy leather restraints. The straps all squashed as they were pulled taut and then in a shock that showed the monster’s power, loosened as they were snapped and removed as easily as the far weaker buckles he’d originally worn. Rather than spitting them free however, it pulled them down into itself.

He tensed, expecting the twin wash of licking tendrils followed by the bandages. Instead he felt a tight coil squeezing around his waist. It felt sturdy and solid, quite unlike the tendrils and squeezed tightly in a uniform press that tucked in his sides, belly and even forcibly shortened his breath.

“Mnhhgh- whmmh?!” He asked in confusion as he heard the hyena’s laughing to each other in glee, discussing what they thought was happening while the sarcophagus only quivered and shook a little on the exterior, despite the sheer strength it showed to the poor fennec within.

Amid their glee he caught the tail end of a question that Meeka was asking to another of them. “...noticed what we changed yet?”

The response was lost. He could no longer hear them over his own enclosed grunts, the wet squishing of the tendrils on each other and a growing creak of what it was bringing to bear on him.

The straps behind his head snapped. “Mmhh. S-sorry if I called you ugly or jackasses or… whatever! I didn’t mean it! Let me aaahgh!!” A fresh tentacle stuffed into his mouth as, like before, another wrapped his length, even though he was beyond spent, the mimic didn’t seem to care.

It even seemed to use that tentacle as an anchor, pulling something up over Arkose’s snout to replace the muzzle he’d just been wearing. However instead of the snout, it covered most of his whole head in reinforced, barely pliable leather. The ears and eyes were spared, with tiny holes for his nostrils, yet this new hood also filled his mouth allowing him to taste and confirm for himself what the material was.

The hood had no laces, sitting eerily tight when it was on, with a coiling tentacle at his throat introducing the way it would lock it; a leather band.

It also hadn’t been idle on his limbs, either, repurposing all the binders into ones that fit too snugly to slip out of, even before extra cuffs cinched down along his upper arms and thighs. They were tucked in, even more securely than before, with an additional binding lattice of leather straps that connected to that hefty corset along his shoulders and rump.

The fennec couldn’t struggle out of sheer exhaustion, yet he knew already that he was truly helpless now, his mind swimming between confusion over how the hyenas had known to do this and trying to stop thinking about the tentacles that swarmed and rubbed wherever they could around the leather.

“Mmhh- mhhhhmn!” The hyenas barely heard as the fennec had another orgasm, dry and spent still.

“So lads, what are we thinking?” Meeka asked.

“If it works as it should, we’re gonna make a fortune. Slaves that come with free gear that can be left until they’re broken? That’s gonna open up a market.” Kav replied.

“I meant about our thief.” She rasped in some amusement.

“Ah.” Kav replied thinking for a bit.

“I can’t wait to see him when we get him out, he’ll probably look much cuter!” Batay said before realising Meeka wanted a bit more than that. “But then, I dunno… maybe we ditch him somewhere, let him spread our reputation for us, people will know not to cross us!”

“What? Release him for free? Rep will get out either way.” Kav said over him. “I say we test the waters, see how much a spirited slave will earn if he’s wearing the means to break him.”

“Aww come on, Kav, have a heart. By the next auction we’ll have had our fun, that’s enough surely? They won’t want damaged goods.” Batay added.

Meeka and Kav shared an unseen look at that, before Kav moved the subject on. “You, Meeka?”

“Well, I dunno about sellin’ him or freein’ him.” She said, thinking. “I’ve stolen and fenced plenty of loot, both living and inert, ‘bout time I keep one for myself, we could even call it research. See how long that gear lasts and how long it takes to break him as a way to recommend our goods to our future customers.”

“So three of us and… no consensus.” Kav sighed.

The mimic had quietened down too, leaving the room almost silent. “Well, sleep on it. We’ll figure it out. Not like you’re goin’ anywhere eh?” Meeka said, shouting the last question and giggling when she heard a faint “Hnaahhgh…” in response.

All five of the hideout’s living occupants rested, Arkose the most fitfully, particularly when the mimic chose to interrupt his sleep and have some fun. It wasn’t until past midday that the fennec was allowed to see light again. Hauled free by the same combination of sleeping poison on the mimic and brute force from the hyenas.

They’d been delighted by his heavily reinforced outfit, a few buckles allowed them to make it tight enough to immobilise his limbs fully but otherwise the mimic-made restraints lacked any obvious way to adjust them, with no hint at all on how to remove them. Though the hyenas were able to detect a lingering cursed magic.

Arkose whimpered through his kept-open mouth, groaning as the wiry hyena found a plug to fit it, yet before that they each made the fennec tend to their freshly woken stiffness.

A leather strap was fashioned into a leash when they were done, with Meeka skipping her turn to drag Arkose with her. He’d need the exercise, plus it was fun for her to make sure he knew he was being taken for a walk.

With the new additions, his day carried on much the same as that of his capture. Whenever a hyena got bored and fancied some fun with their captive they asserted themselves, at least while the novelty lasted. After which he was hauled back into the mimic, which would replace any gear the hyenas had stretched or mispositioned, securing him in the new bindings.

As two days grew into a week, the hyenas' discussions started to reach certain conclusions, though the air always felt heaviest when he was returned to the cave after Batay had been walking him.

As the novelty lessened their security and mistreatment waned, with it. Kav got bored first, with Meeka’s attention remaining strong but becoming overall less explicit. Batay also spent less time exploiting his situation, though there was something off about it, Kav’s apathy was sheer disinterest, Batay’s was somehow more emotionally weighted.

The next window for the bandits to offload anything they were selling was only two days away, Kav had found an excuse to send Batay out first to ‘walk the pup’. He ruffled Arkose’s ears, teasing the poor fennec by telling him. “I’m gonna miss these.”

“Mmmh!?” Arkose gasped, suddenly tugging on the leash, squirming in the gear that in all his attempts, supervised or not, had never even shifted.

“Haha, the look on your face. It’s make or break time, is all. Can’t have you making a scene at the sales, so we’ll be saying goodbye to you on the road. It’s been fun while it’s lasted.” Batay wheezed as he kept walking. “And I’m sure there’s some holy-lover out there who can find a spell that’d get rid of those curses. Honestly, I know the others are hoping for you to run into more peril like that but between you and me, I’m rootin’ for you pup!” He whispered back.

That set Arkose pouting but suddenly feeling a bit more encouraged. He’d suspected that Batay had warmed to him in other ways plus he didn’t seem as black-hearted as his friends. The rest of the walk was as exhausting as ever, to both keep him exercised but also tired enough to be manageable.

It wasn’t until they got back to the cave that Arkose felt something else was amiss. That same heaviness in the air seemed to seep, like a physically palpable tension. What he caught was quiet enough, the rumble of Kav’s voice, followed by “Hey, you met me halfway and so we’re both winners.” from Meeka, replying to him with a toothy smirk.

“We’re back!” Batay said proudly.

“Batay, good. Look somethin’s up with the mimic. It hasn’t woken up after the antidote. You think it’s getting a resistance or something?” Meeka asked, disrupting and distracting him.

“Huh? Let me have a look.” The hyena said, handing the lead to Kav and walking quickly, so quickly that he didn’t see the larger hyena tie the cord off and follow. Meeka and Kav walked in step behind the oblivious runt of their trio who moved closer to the mimic, shocked to see the lid open. “What’s wrong with it?! I-is it dea- aaah!” It sprang to life as he drew near, tentacles flailing and two hands at his back pushed him forward when he tried to jump back.

Arkose was able to stare in horrified wonder, it looked even more disturbing to watch than to feel as slimy tendrils seized hold of the hyena and snatched him in. “Kav! Meek-aaaah! Help, guys! Hmmhhhh!” The lid closed and then outside of some rocking, Arkose heard nothing more.

The two hyenas stood there as the weight of their betrayal rested on their shoulders, then, they shrugged it off, with Meeka even chuckling on their return to the staring, transfixed fennec.

“Well there we go fox-face. Good news. Kav is getting his slave to sell and I’m getting my trophy-pet to keep. Aren’t you a lucky one.” Meeka said with a grin, lowering to squat close to Arkose. His eyes swiped between her and the gap through which he could see the mimic. “And as a gesture o’ goodwill we got two more gifts for you.”

“Mmmh?!” Arkose said, head still boggled at the betrayal.

Her hand waved a small bone shaped tag, with the word ‘Pup’ engraved on it. “Your official name, Pup. And we’ve got a nice kennel for you. Well, it’s a crate right now but when we get our haul we’ll get a nice cosy and snug one, since your usual bed’s gonna be a guest room for any more marks we stumble across.”

“Mmmh! M-mhmmhhmm!!” He felt a small sting of pity for the hyena but even more his own self-preserving fear that he wasn’t to be let loose after all!

“Man, all this double crossing gets a girl going. Come on, Pup, make me feel good and you can share my bed tonight.” She said, pulling the leash and dragging Arkose with her. The mimic thudded a few times more before he heard a gagged muffled whine of tentacle-extracted climax from within.

“We can probably see if we can coax the mimic into taking other shapes, maybe other restraints too. What do you think, see if we can find a fresh member who knows monsters?” Kav asked.

“Get your mind out of work and into the gutter with us, or buzz off while I’m still buzzing.” Meeka said to her companion.

The larger hyena grunted in amusement before rising and walking out of the cave.

“Now, show me how well you’ve learned to use that muzzled mouth o’ yours and I might see about some further adjustments.”

The fennec let out a soft gulp. Whether Kav and Meeka eventually turned on each other too, neither of them seemed like they’d show him an ounce of mercy. It seemed the best he could hope for was an unlikely rescue from a third party after all…
