Was all Skyler and Ariel said when their little sibling, no older than 8 years old, opened the front door and gawked at them like he saw the most amazing thing in the world. The fallen Teddy Bear from his arms has proved it.
Both of them did not move for a few seconds until they heard a low pitch sound.
Skyler looked around him and when his eyes fall on his little brother, he saw a smile forming on his face which grows by with every second accompanying with a squee.
"Well, I gues we have a lot of explaining to do huh?"
"So.... You two are my big brother and sister?" Daniel asked as he sat in a couch while the two dragons carefully sat on the cold hard floor as to not make a scratch in it with their bare claws.
Skyler looked at Ariel and nodded as she looked at their little brother, Daniel, with what we could assume a serious dragon expression.
"Yes Danny, me and your brother got turned into dragons and---" Ariel was cut off when Daniel suddenly went it her side and bombarded her with question regarding turning into a dragon and what's it like to be one. Ariel tried to calm down her little brother but it attached himself to her side as he began pulling her wings much to Skyler's amusement.
"H-hey! Stop that--- ohhhhhh..." Ariel moaned as her body shivered and went limp on the floor when Daniel touched a sensitive part right near her neck.
Daniel pulled back and looked at her big dragon sister with concern. He looked at her withering state as Skyler put a paw on his left shoulder. He looked at Skyler who is giving him a warm smile as he motioned for him to sit down which he did with no excuse.
Ariel give her brother a glare as she straightened herself and coughed.
"Don't do that again."
"Nope!" Danny said with glee as he looked at Skyler who is trying hard not to laugh.
"Ahem. Anyway...." Ariel sat comfortably beside Danny, on her haunches as she adjusted her wings in her sides. "Danny, what we are gonna tell you stays between everyone who is in this room okay? Do not tell a single soul about this." Ariel stated as she looked at Danny in the eye.
"Why?" Danny asked innocently.
Ariel smiled as she ruffled his hair.
"Because we don't want anybody to panic. Can you imagine what will mom and dad do if they found out that we have been turned into dragons?" Ariel asked Danny as the youngest brother sulked.
"Well, mom and dad will probably freak out...." Danny said slowly as he sink deep into the couch. "Especially mom. After watching a few horror movies like The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2 and The Nun, she's becoming a little bit....."
"Coocoo?" Skyler suggested as he looked around the living room that is full of religious things like the crosses and portraits of Jesus and the altar of the Holy Virgin Mary.
"Crazy?" Ariel asked while holding back a giggle.
"I was gonna say a little superstitious....." Danny said.
Skyler snorts as he remembered the time where their mom bought a 'few' rosaries. She even managed to convince them to hold on to the rosaries that she bought in order to protect them from evil spirits. "Heh, only a little?" Asked Skyler as both siblings giggled as they too remembered the funny memory.
"Well, to be fair, those movies are actually true, considering the fact that ghosts and other supernatural beings can now be proven thanks to science." Ariel stated as she looked at both her siblings with a smile.
"Yup. That and the dragoness that we met at the forest is also....." Skyler notices too late as he felt something grip his shoulder softly.
Skyler looked at his side and found out that his brother's face is inching towards him that is beaming with glee. It took him a few seconds until it clicked on him.
"Oh...." Skyler sheepishly scratched his head as Ariel giggled.
"Another dragon?! Where?! How?! When?!" Danny was saying this to the point where he almost started shouting but Skyler covered his mouth with his paws.
"Shhhhh!! Don't scream so loud or mom and dad will hear you!" Skyler looked at the stairs as they went still and hold their breath, listening for any signs of their parents waking up. Fortunately they didn't.
Ariel sighed as she noticed that his little brother is struggling to breathe which went unnoticed to Skyler still covering him. She smacked his paws away which resulted a yelp from him and made Danny weeze and cough as he tried to take in a few breaths before calming down.
"Wouldn't it hurt to cover him gently?" Ariel asked as he rubbed the back of his little brother while striking a glare at Skyler.
"Sorry...." Skyler sheepishly grinned.
"Huff.... well, I'll forgive you if you tell me about the dragon you saw." Danny said with excitement again as if nothing happened.
Ariel smiled as she stood up. "Sure, but only after we turn back to humans." She gently placed the top of her tail on Danny's head as he looked at it with fascination.
"Come. Let's go to Skyler's room. We have a lot to talk about." Ariel said as she slowly but definitely not struggling going up the stairs.
Skyler and Danny looked at each other then shrugged as Danny guided his older brother up the stairs.
For the next few minutes, Skyler and Ariel tried their best to fill in their brother about the event on what has transpired during the forest and how they managed to turn into dragons and the dragoness they met who is Nature. They took turns telling the story, covering up some holes in their tales and answering a few questions from Danny who is curious about the word 'Rape' which Ariel declined to answer and to which Skyler replied "Only when you are older." which made Danny groaned but said nothing nonetheless.
It was then that Skyler asked Danny to search for a particular website that is the cause of this transformation magic that made the turn into dragons and maybe find a spell to turn them back into humans again.
A few minutes later, Danny stopped typing and looked worriedly at his two dragon siblings.
"We have a problem." Danny said as the two dragons that are laying on the floor looked at each other with concern before going back at Danny.
"What do you mean we have a problem?" Ariel asked worriedly as Skyler rose up from his laying position and went to Danny's side.
"I can't find the website that you guys said." Danny began furiously typing various things in the google search tab even to the point where he typed the URL of the website but all he ever received is a DNS error and a couple message request on typing the right URL.
Skyler began to worry as he ushered Danny aside which he obeyed and let Skyler take his place in front of the computer and began typing the URL that is still in his mind.
Ariel saw this and rose up in a sitting position. "Hey, wait a minute. You can type?!" She rose an eyebrow(?) as Skyler turned to her while showing off his front paws.
"I have opposable thumbs." He wiggle his digit to her as Ariel looked at her paws and found out that she too has the same opposable thumbs as Skyler has.
"Well ain't this convenient. Hey! If you can type then why did you even let Danny use the computer?!" Ariel's voice rose as both of her brothers shushed her and went on looking back at the screen.
"Tsk. Boys " Ariel said while rolling her eyes as she stood up and went to Skyler's side and looked at the screen.
"Strange, I really can't find the website. I even backtrack in History and couldn't find anything. It's like the website itself has been deleted amd something cleaned my browsing history!" Skyler said frustratedly as the room began to fill his typing noises.
"Well at least no one can find out about your furry NSFW stories and whatnot. " Ariel said jokingly. Little did she know that Skyler's face turned a light shade of red as he continued on typing.
"What is NSFW?" Danny asked innocently as both dragons froze from their innocent little brother's question.
"Ummm....Ill tell you when your older okay Danny?" Said Ariel as she smiled awkwardly at her naive brother.
Half an our later, Skyler stood abruptly which made Ariel and Danny jump back who was dozing off on Skyler's side. He then proceeded to his bed and bang his head repeatedly on his pillow until he stopped.
Ariel and Danny looked at each other and thought that he is fine until they heard a whine coming from the muffled face of Skyler.
"So, I take it you search wasn't a success?" Ariel asked, anxiety is in her voice as she walked towards Skyler.
"Hmmmhmm..." Skyler replied through the pillow in his snout.
"So.... are you guys gonna be stack like that forever?" Danny asked as Ariel shook hear head and said. "Of course not. I'm sure we can find a way to turn back into humans. But in the meantime, we better get some shuteye." Ariel looked at the computer screen in and noticed that its way past midnight and they only have at least 4 hours of bedtime.
"Danny, can you be a dear and get a few blankets from Skyler's drawer please?" Ariel asked as Danny saluted and ran to the drawer to grab a few long blankets.
Meanwhile, Ariel went to Skyler's side and drape her arm over his neck.
"Hey, you okay bro?" Ariel asked as she heard sniffling coming from him.
"Hey c'mon. It won't be that bad. And besides, we got no school tomorrow." Ariel tried to raise Skyler's spirits up but to no avail. Nothing changed and Skyler only continued on wallowing in his pillow.
Ariel sighed as she rubbed Skyler's head gently. "Hey, don't be like that. It's not like thing could get any worse---" Ariel was cut off when Danny let out a "Done!" as he was finished putting down the blankets on the floor and spread them out like a picnic blanket. He walked towards Skyler's side, opposite to Ariel and give him a side hug.
"Awww it's okay Sky! At least the two of you are dragons!" Danny's enthusiasm seem to help Skyler's mood as he rose from his pillow and looked at Danny with a sad smile.
"It's not thag Danny." Skyler looked at Ariel while she gave him a look of concern.
"Then what?" Ariel asked.
"......." Skyler was silent for a moment until he took a deep breath and sighed deeply.
"I'm just worried about what will happen if Nature find us...." Skyler said as Ariel's eye widened in realization at the fact that Skyler is right.
If they couldn't turn back into humans, their scent might be more than eought to lead Nature here.
Skyler walked passed them and lay down on the blankets on the floor and curled his body like a cat that is sleeping.
"Well, I'm going to sleep. Danny, you can sleep in my bed. See yah in the morning guys." With that, Skyler dozed off as Danny let out a yawn and climbed up on Skyler's bed and proceeded to went to dreamland whole Ariel still pondered on a way to turn them back into human.
"Aww whatever. No use thinking about it now. I need some shuteye as well." Ariel walked towards Skyler and laid down. She curled right next to him and went fast asleep as fatigue finally reached her body.
"So that is the place where they lived huh? It seems the humans of today are okay living with dragons then...." Nature said to herself as she spied on Skyler's sleeping form and the company he slept with from the rooftops on a house that is two yards away.
"Hehehe.... Seems like I'm worried over nothing. Don't worry Sky, soon you will be mine and then we will mate. Just. You. Wait." Nature then flapped her wings and went flying towards her home in the mountains where she then lay asleep in her nest and dreamt about her and Skyler mating.
