Scarlet Intervention 6 by Raven Fox: It's been five months since the events of chapter 5. All the other characters have settled into their new lives, the vulpine ship Victory has completed its yard period and is ready to deliver five ships to the US military. A vulpine male decides to sneak to Earth on one of the ships to see if life will be better for him on a different planet. (A few of my watchers requested another story of a male morph having a relationship with a human female. Enjoy...Raven Fox)

Vulpine Orbital repair yards, orbit over Vulpine home world. Ex-Vulpine ship Fleche.

Josiah wiped his hand between his ears on the top of his head after testing a panel he just refurbished that controls the large overhead doors that open for launching fighters. The male vulpine clicks his com Unit., "Bridge, launch bay, request permission to cycle the launch doors to test panel LD45."

"Launch bay, bridge, permission granted." Said the reply from the bridge.

The male fox pushed the alarm button grabbing a microphone hanging from the wall near the panel., "All personal clear the launch bay for test of launch bay doors." Josiah eyed the screen showing the launch bay taking note that there was no personal in the bay. The bay has been done two weeks ago, but it doesn't hurt to double check for anyone in the launch bay.

Hanger bay, Ex-Vulpine ship Fleche.

Galen walked the hanger bay eyeing the vulpine fighters. The male human who is mated to a female vulpine stopped at one of the fighters checking its lines., "Looks like an F-22, but it's painted a flat black." He thought to himself seeing Tiff walking up to him.

A familiar three tone emergency tone sounded making Tiff gently grab his arm., "Move over here Sir. The launch bay doors are getting ready to open sir." The vixen said to her human mate, moving him to a different area.

"I heard the announcement, I thought I was clear." Galen said watching the yellow warning light flashing. The human noted a mirror in one of the light assemblies moving around the bulb like one off an old fire truck. He turned to Tiff with a grin., "There was an old TV show from the 1970s called Rescue 51. My dad had a couple of seasons on VHS, when there was a call, a warning tone sounded. Your warning tone sounds like the one from that fire station on that TV show."

Tiff chuckled eyeing the transparent blue force field that protected personal from the vacuum of space. She saw a few personal standing near panels to slam a door down in case a force field failed. The vixen looked up seeing a male fox in the control room operating the launch system. A deep rumble started as the large doors opened over the launch bay, Tiff click her chronometer to time the door cycle.

Control room.

The male fox is also timing the door cycle. He clicked his chronometer when the doors stopped moving. Josiah eyed thru the open doors seeing the super dreadnought Victory in the box like structure taking note that the ship looks like its brand new., "She may look new, but that ship is over a hundred years old. This one is two hundred and ten years old." The male fox thought to himself pressing the button to close the doors. He knew on the Victory, he would be touching a touch screen to open the doors on the bottom of that ship. Josiah thought of his human male friends on the home world and his current feelings. The male fox loved his race and wants to go out in space to set foot on another planet. But fate made him a male and being employed by the repair yards is the only way he can be in space., "I need permission and apply to leave orbit, but I been denied permission to leave the system. But, I made arrangements to get on the Victory when it heads back to Earth." Josiah thought to himself as the large doors shut. The male fox called the bridge letting the bridge watch he was done testing the doors and left the control room after gathering his tools.

Hanger floor.

"So that's one of males of your race." Inquired Galen seeing the fox leaving the control room. He's been so busy in the last five months; this is the first one he saw.

Tiff nodded watching the male fox leave the control room., "I keep forgetting in the last five months, when you set foot on our world, you were only on it for a short time. Before we go back to Earth, you need to spend a couple days to see the sights of our world outside our bases." The vixen said seeing the human nodding. She took his hand and the couple left the hanger bay.

That evening, a bar on the home world.

Josiah looked at his friend sitting across from him. The male vulpine eyed the human with black hair with dark blue eyes. He can understand a vixen falling in love with this human. Alan was brought here five years ago from the Southern state of Georgia, but he was found in the middle of the Atlantic ocean., "So, did you get the stuff I need to get on the Victory?"

The human sighs shaking his head., "Five months ago yes, I can't now. The yard personal upgraded the security system on the VUL 89000 so none of those racist assholes can forge a pass. That computer is a system you can't trick, she scares me. That voice she has, that computer is of the female gender?" Alan asks seeing the fox nodding.

"Yes, that computer is one of a kind, there are no others. Computer geeks want to check her out when she goes to Earth. So what about another super dreadnought? Those are the only ships I can disappear on till it gets to Earth." Inquired the fox seeing his human friend shaking his head.

"Nope, all Victory and Constellation class ships are getting that security upgrade, plus the Xiang when part of the fleet gets to Earth." Alan answered and looked at his vulpine friend wondering why Josiah wanted to go to Earth. To him, the best day of his life when he was fished out of the Atlantic Ocean by a vulpine transport. A couple of drunken passengers threw him off the cruise ship he was on. The human is listed as missing, but he has no intention of going back to Earth after what happen to the United States. Alan talked to some of the new bunch of human males of what started that is now called The Second American Civil war. He sighs again and replied., "The only way you can get to Earth is get on one of those Fleche class ships that are going into possession of the United States Navy. The computers on those ships are easier to fool."

The male fox grabs his head doing a light sigh., "I wanted one of the larger ships because once I get on it, and it will be easy for me to hide. Those Fleche class are a quarter of the size of the Constellation class. Not many places for me to hide."

The human male studied the male fox taking note that he seen other male foxes and had an idea. Josiah in his opinion can pass for a petite vixen if he put on fake breasts and put padding on his ass with a wig. The males of the vulpine race don't have long head hair like the vixens. He pictured Josiah with a wig and nodded., "I have an idea, but it's the only way you can get on that ship." Alan told Josiah his idea.

"What!? Excuse me, those coveralls go pelt tight. When that garment constricts, my sheathe will be showing with my nut sack." The fox answered seeing the human doing that expression that he's thinking.

"Oh, I have a solution for that to. Have another drink, I'll tell you my idea. One last thing, do you want to be a boarding member or fleet?" Asked the human.

"Fleet in engineering, I worked on that plant during the refit. Those engineering personal spend a lot of time in the engine room." Josiah answered knowing that this might work. It's going to be a three day hyperspace jump to the Earth system, but hygiene is going to be hard., "I'll shower when the other personal are sleeping or eating." The fox thought to himself seeing the human looking at him.

"The fleet leaves in twelve days because the Victory still needs another day of work on a system. Then it goes on a three day shakedown trial, if everything goes good, they'll leave in one week. I think, I'll make you a little larger than a B cup." Alan said to the fox and grins., "I'll have everything ready the day after tomorrow." Then he leaves the bar.

A couple of days later, Josiah's' apartment.

He sighs holding the garment that looks like a body stocking with pads on it. Josiah looks at his reflection eyeing his very skinny body., "Alan is right, I can pass for a vixen." The male fox mutters to himself sliding the codpiece over his sheath and nut sack. He then puts on the body stocking doing adjustments feeling the material pulling on his pelt. Josiah looked at the padding that looked like a pair of breasts and bend over seeing a flatten area between his legs. The male fox looked behind himself seeing that his ass is bigger, shape like the one off a vixen and saw his tail. He grabbed the copper colored wig placing it on his head and feed his ears thru the cutouts. Josiah decided to look at the mirror.

"You had to make my but so big!" Josiah said looking at the vixen in the mirror with a full waist. He reaches behind and pulls on the small zipper feeling the body stocking tighten on his body. Grabbing the blue colored coveralls, the fox slipped it on feeling the fabric constrict to his body size.

He looks at his reflection seeing a vixen looking back at him with dark green catlike eyes. The male fox disguised as a vixen turned admiring himself eyeing that now instead of a skinny build; he looked like a petite vixen with slightly big ass and medium breasts. Josiah adjusted the wig and walked out of his living quarters.

Alan's' place, minutes later.

The human male heard a pounding on the door and answered it seeing a short vixen with coppered colored head hair. He grinned at the vixen., "Well, well, you fooled me for a second; I got your stuff ready." Alan said to his friend.

Josiah walked in the duplex, remembering that for some reason, his people used the same slang as humans. His human friend is mated to the second in command of the Eclipse, the second Victory class super dreadnought built. The fox looked at the nice setup of the place with slight envy because he lives in a two story building called a dingbat, a building with six apartment units. Josiah counts himself lucky that he has the apartment to himself; some male foxes half to share an apartment with another. Most males have a taste with a type of music called rap, but he hates rap preferring heavy metal. He saw his friend walking up with him with a camera on a tripod.

"Stand against that wall." The human said gesturing to a wall painted a shade of green. Alan watches as his friend stands at the wall setting up the camera. He looks thru the viewfinder taking a total of three pictures at different aperture settings. The human whipped out his mates old ID card studying it and hooked the camera to his computer and adjusted the picture contrast and filled out the info on the lines., "Alright, you're Josie B. Lightfoot. You hold the rank of E-3, so suspicion of any slip ups will not draw attention to yourself. That's the best I can do, being a newbie will let the veterans not look twice at you. A word of advice, ask questions once in a while."

"You act like you been thru this before." Replied the fox.

"I was in the United States Navy as a snipe. Worked in engine rooms of diesel powered ships. With the US Navy getting those starships from your people, I am tempted to go back in, but I am declared missing on Earth." The human said loading the best picture in a USB stick. He then placed the stick to a machine nearby and pushed a button on it.

The male fox disguised as a vixen watches a Fleet ID card exited the machine. Alan picks up the ID looking at nodding., "I don't know why to want to go to Earth, but I hope I see you again."

"I have a feeling we will see each other again." Josiah said to his human friend. He walks to the door and grinned., "Thank you for the help Alan, I just need to see what it's like on another planet." The fox says walking out of the place.

"Wait; don't forget to buy the spray to make you smell like a vixen. My mate told me that vixens have a good sense of smell." The human said to Josiah seeing him wave to him. He watched his friend walk down the street wondering why the male fox wants to go to the planet Earth. Alan sighs walking back in his mates' place.

Day's later, entry tube of the ex-vulpine ship Fleche.

Josiah stood behind the vixen in the line he's in. The male fox disguised as a vixen stayed quiet as the line shuffled forward. He peaked forward watching what happens when the vixen enters the ship.

The guard at the entry port looks at the ID card and puts it in a reader. A machine near the guard then expels the card after checking it.

Minutes later the guard is looking at his ID and stuck it in the machine. The male fox held his breath as the machine read the card. A second later, the card popped out and the card is handed back to him.

"Remember to upgrade your ID card when we get to Earth, Mechanic apprentice class Lightfoot. The fleet is changing the security stuff on the ID cards." Replied the vixen guard.

Josiah nodded and walked in the ship to the area Josie is assigned to live at. The male fox found out the he has a roommate at a two person stateroom.

Hour's later, ex-vulpine ship Fleche.

"All hands prepare to get underway; crewmembers go to assigned departure stations." Said a voice from the PA system.

Josiah went to his assigned station in number 2 engine space. The male fox disguised as a vixen looked at the row of super conductor coils., "Just think one month ago, I was working on those things." He thought to himself as a female human walked in the space.

"Oh hi, I am Machinist's Mate third class Ridley, my first name Nancy. The US Navy requested that humans get stationed on these ships to familiarize us humans in their operation. So, have you been to Earth yet?" Asked the female human with dirty blonde hair and green eyes.

"I just finished my school training. Been in fleet or the military for less than nine months. Missed the fleet deployment by two digits of my ID number. The higher ups decided at the last moment that the ones in training should not get their training interrupted. So this is my first deployment to another planet." Replied the fox finding human females kind of cute. He spent the last week working on the story he just told the female human.

Nancy scratched the side of her nose., "Well, I was on leave when it started, the second American Civil War. I was heading back to the Iwo Jima, then I found out she was sunk by F-18s from the Roosevelt. Then I was assigned shore duty when your people intervened and defeated those Aryan dickheads. Spent the last five months training on that dreadnought called the Moon shadow." The human female said and looked at the fox., "Oh, I am being rude, what's your name and rank?"

Josiah chuckles., "Josie B. Lightfoot, mechanic apprentice. So, Moon Shadow, the forth built Victory class super dreadnought built. That one is ninety years old with Sal 50000 super computer controlling the systems on it."

"Is it true that the computer on the Victory has a mind of its own?" Asked the human female.

"That's impossible, we have very good AI systems, but the VUL 89000 just cost too much to build and only one was made. VUL 89000 has three times the computing power than Sal 50000 AI computers installed on the other nine super dreadnoughts built." The male fox said to Nancy and the two continued to talk.

That night, Josiah's' stateroom.

He removed the coveralls tossing them down the chute that goes to the laundry room at the bowels of the ship. The male fox looks at the vixen staring back at him. Josiah was reaching to undo the body stocking when the lock beeped. He placed a towel around his chest looking at the door starting to open. The male fox disguised as a vixen watches as Nancy walked in the stateroom.

"Oh, hi, Josie, looks like we're roomies." She said looking at the vixen.

The fox knew Earth slang from his human male friends, but decided to give the human a confused look., "Uh, what?"

Nancy removed her coveralls showing a light muscled body on an athletic build. She looked at the vixen., "Earth slang, I'll explain during the trip to Earth. By the time we get to Earth, you'll be an expert on Earth slang." The human female said climbing in the lower bunk., "I hope you won't mind the upper bunk, I just hate them." Nancy said closing the dark green curtain.

"No, I don't mind it at all." Said Josiah climbing to the top bunk. He removed the body stocking looking at his regular skinny chest. The male fox removed the cod piece and direct the air vent between his legs. Josiah removed the wig and placed his head on the bulkhead behind him closing his eyes. He heard the sound of hyper drive six levels below his stateroom. It had whistling and rumbling combination sound. A few vixens he had to do an availability service to were fleet members. One said that the hyper drive on the Victory has a thrumming sound; a vixen on the Constellation said the drive sounds like an Earth diesel engine sound. "The second in command on the Eclipse before she mated with Alan says its hyper drive sounds like arching electricity. Back then, she was the chief engineer." He thought to himself falling asleep.

Two days later, number two engine space, ex-vulpine ship Fletch.

"These super conductor coils are different than the ones of the Victory class super dreadnoughts and Constellation class." Josiah said to Nancy while the two walked between the rows of coils.

The female human looked closer at the coils, it's the first time she got a good look at the machines that make a large ship float in a planets' atmosphere. When Nancy was on the Moon Shadow, she couldn't get a good look at them due to the lightning arcing around the structure. She counted the coils seeing that this ship has thirty six., "I see that these ones seem more.... No offense, cruder in construction. The ones on the Moon Shadow are controlled by the ships' main computer."

The male fox disguised as a vixen laughs., "No offense taken, this ship is over two hundred years old and its' main computer has the same processing power as an IBM Summit supercomputer. An operator has to be in a control room adjusting the coils to maintain the balance of keeping the ship at a set height above a planet. On this ship a crewmember is always adjusting the coils, but on the newer ships, the AI main computer does it." Josiah said to Nancy leading her to a room.

She walked in the room seeing thirty six gauges with yellow, green and red bands on one of the bulkheads. On the bottom of each gauge is a knob. The human female studied one of the gauges seeing that the needle is resting all the way to the left in the red. Nancy looked at a large panel seeing thirty six large switches with lettering saying Secured, Standby, and on. All switches are in the Secured position. She looked out the window above the large panel with the switches seeing the thirty six coils being dormant. The human female knew when this ship is at Earth six hundred feet above the ground, all thirty six coils will be covered in that lightning storm and she'll have to be wearing the protective coveralls under her regular coveralls., "Oh, Josie, while on the Moon Shadow, I wasn't allowed to have my cell phone in this space on the Moon Shadow. What's with that?"

"Even with those protective coveralls, this space will fry any unprotected devices. The data pads the engineers use have a protective shielding. To protect a cell phone, requires the device being disassembled and that stuff put in. I heard about cell phone manufactures making it impossible to work on their products, so it's not worth it. Just use the data pads for social media like Twitter and Face book." Josiah said to Nancy and they left the control room.

"You seem very knowledgeable of stuff on Earth." The human female said as they walked to one end of the space.

"I know a few human males who are mated to a few vixen friends of mine." Said the disguised vixen seeing the human female stopped walking and turned to her.

She looked at the petite vixen., "Did you ever sleep with a human male?"

"No, I am barely nineteen years old and just completed training. I'll use the Earth terms I heard from friends and bear with any mistakes I make. First, males are very few on my planet. Human males from Earth for some reason can make vixens like me pregnant. For thousands of years, we took human males off the planet Earth. The last hundred years since you humans made your vehicles better, it's been hard. But you have the occasional aircraft and ocean going vessel suddenly vanishing without a trace. We're responsible for those disappearances like that place you humans call the Bermuda Triangle." Josiah said seeing the human female nodding.

"I visited that museum and saw all those vehicles. The mystery of flight 19 has been solved. Since 1945, those pilots of those Avengers and PBM Mariner have been living on your planet." Replied Nancy.

"My great aunt was on Eclipse when that happen. Those planes only had less than fifty gallons of fuel left in their tanks. Some computer glitch caused the Eclipse being near the site for over an hour. That PBM Mariner spotted the Eclipse and we had to take that plane to. What would you think the Navy that you serve would have done to that air crew if they returned and talk about a fourteen mile long ship flying in the air. As for me, I am a virgin due to my young age and the rareness of males. Oh, I can request a service, but that's expensive and I am using Navy terms a fireman apprentice. So maybe after this deployment and saving my pay, I'll hire a male fox for a service." Said the disguised vixen doing a grin.

Nancy calmed herself knowing that this vixen is a few years younger than her. She's twenty one almost twenty two. Months back, she thought that she wouldn't see her twenty second birthday due to the state of the United States., "The US Navy lost a lot of surface ships do to that one carrier that turned traitor with that missile sub. I have Native American ancestors and count as eighth and my skin darkens in the sun. Some guys think it's sexy, but Aryans would of call me a half breed and I would have been put in that fenced area in San Diego. I am glad these vulpines did defeated those racist bastards." She thought to herself and looked at the vixen doing a grin., "Hey, if a human male wants to go in bed with you. It's ok with me, but make sure he's nice and stuff, your first time should be a good experience."

The male fox disguised as a vixen grinned., "I'll think about it, after all, I am on Earth for six months teaching snipes in the operation of the systems of this ship." And the two continued their walk thru the space.

The female human is walking behind the vixen watching as she walked the catwalk between the super conductors. Nancy saw Josie's' hair get caught on a wire hanging from the bulkhead. She saw all of Josie's' head hair leave the top of the vixens' head.

"Oh shit!" Josiah said grabbing the wig quickly putting it back on. He turned seeing that him and Nancy are the only personal in the space. The male fox just saw the female human staring at him with her mouth wide open.

She saw a male vulpine before on the home planet and never got a chance to talk to him. The female human looked around seeing no one in the space and walked up to the male fox., "Ok, may I ask why a male fox is disguised as a vixen?" Nancy did admit she was fooled because the female voice was convincing and wonder why she never saw the Josie in the showers.

"Ok, I'll tell the short version now and the full story tonight before taps." The male fox said and told the quick reason why he's on this ship. He saw her features become more relaxed., "So are you going to turn me in?"

"No, I had grown to like you in the last couple of days. But since you know so much about ships, you either build starships or you're a yard bird. (Slang for Ship Repair Facility worker RAVEN FOX) But I have one question, why it takes three days for this ship to do the journey to Earth compared to the other ships doing it two?" The female human asked.

"Different hyper drive, the newer ships have their hyper drives at a lower setting to go the same speed as these ships. Don't get me wrong, this class of ship is still a good class of ship. The higher ups just replaced these ships with the Constellation class." Josiah said adjusting his wig. The male fox didn't want a chance of another vixen walking in this space. He replies., "I am a yard bird, I spent the last five months putting this ship back together and running. Like I said, these ships are still a good class of ship, but they need a large crew for running the ship. The AI computers cut down the size of crew on ships."

"What can you tell me about this ships' main computer?" Asked the female human.

"The main computer that controls the functions of this ship is not as advanced as the A.I. system that controls our newer ships. One thing this class of ship can do over the newer ones is land on the surface of a planet." The male fox says as they continued the walk in the space. He made sure to be more careful so no one else will find out his secret. Josiah just knew since Nancy found out his secret, he will end up being bribed or hired by the U. S. Navy because the higher ups who are going to be in charge of these ships will love having someone like him to work on these ships.

Nancy decided to take a closer look at the disguised male fox. What she didn't tell him is that she is a female human who like anthropomorphic foxes. It was a fantasy comes true with the vulpine race turning the tables of the recent civil war resulting in a victory over the Aryan brotherhood. Nancy was in shock when she saw in the first time when a vixen removed her helmet in front of her. But her excitement was brought down when she found out that there were no male foxes with the vixens. The recent trip to the vulpine home world gave her the excitement when she was chosen to become a crewmember on one of the ships the vulpines were giving to the United States Navy. "Just can't wait till we get back in our stateroom my foxy friend." The female human thought to herself looking at him.

That night, Josiah's' stateroom.

He walked in seeing that Nancy was by herself, sighing, he removed his disguise looking at her., "My true form, a skinny thin male fox." Josiah saying in his regular voice.

She looked at him finding him cute like Fox Mc cloud from the game Star Fox., "He seems a slighter darker copper color than the vixens." Nancy thought to herself standing up walking to him.

The male fox watches as she removes her clothes down to the bare skin. Josiah did see pictures of what female humans have as sex organs., "The curtain matches the drapes." He thought to himself seeing the fine blonde colored curly hairs at her vaginal area. The beauty standing nude in front of him has a slim build on her. The female human thought to herself changing positions.

Josiah found himself on bottom looking up at Nancy. The female stroked him between the ears feeling his weight on her., "Thanks, you were great and good. One question, how old are you, you're not nineteen." Nancy asked Josiah and looked at his green catlike eyes.

"Twenty nine." Replied the fox to her ear.

Nancy relaxes holding Josiah stroking his copper colored pelt. She really did enjoy the sex with the fox and the last two days of their friendship. At first the human female knew that something was out of place with the vixen that turned out being a male fox disguised as a vixen., "Knew that something was odd. I didn't see you in the showers and the sound of something spraying while you were in the head. Plus a nineteen year old doesn't know what you know, unless that stuff is taught at schools." Nancy said to Josiah.

"I had to spray something to cover the smell of my urine or a vixen would know that I am a male. I don't know what they teach at the military schools because males aren't allowed to serve on combatant ships. Males like me end up planet side being clerks and mechanics. I wanted to go to Earth because I want to walk on another planet and settle with one female because I am a genius and very smart. The vixens always want to have a kit from me because they think the kit will inherit my smarts. But no, the government wants me to stay on the planet, but I am lucky that I manage to get the job at the shipyards fixing the ships doing complicated repairs. I love my race, but there are too many restrictions on male foxes because we're few in numbers and I am a rare one because I am counted as a genius." Josiah said and fell asleep in Nancy's' arms.

She stayed quiet stroking his pelt listening to the rumbling sound of the hyper drive. Nancy knew that she has to get a hold of a high ranking officer regarding Josiah. The human female will know that the male fox will get caught and she had to get him off this ship., "But the US Navy will get someone who can work on these ships." She thought to herself knowing that there is no one on Earth who can work on these ships and laying on her is a ship yard worker who can work on these ships. Nancy relaxed and fell asleep is holding Josiah.

Near the remains of San Diego, a base under construction, a day later.

"The first one should be here in an hour sir." Said a female Lt near the Admiral looking at the sky.

The senior officer nodded in reply looking at a long black colored ship hovering six hundred feet in the air a mile away. He saw smaller craft exiting the ship going to the remains of the distant city., "I admit when I saw first saw these ships, I thought Independence Day. Then these vulpines kicked those Aryan bastards' asses."

"I did to sir." The Lt replied seeing a very large black colored ship appearing out of the clouds., "Shit, sorry sir, that one is a big bastard, sorry again sir."

"I think that's the Victory, meaning that the ships being given to us are not far behind Lt." The Admiral said watching the large vulpine ship parking itself off shore a mile away. He studied the ship admiring the lines and still in awe that something so large floats in the air due like charges repelling each other. Dan son did tour one of the vulpine ships seeing the engine room of the ship he was assigned to. The human male found his time on the ship a good experience.

Low Earth orbit, control room of the ex-vulpine ship Fleche.

Josiah looked at Nancy near the gauge panel. The male fox in his disguise picked up a mic mounted on the bulkhead near the window to the space with the super conductors., "All personal not wearing protective clothing leave the space." He presses a red button on the switch panel. Josiah heard a siren go off in the space for a few seconds and said in the mic., "Twenty minutes till super conductors turn on." The male fox switches to another mic., "Bridge, control room, request permission to switch super conductors to stand by."

" Control room, bridge , permission granted to put super conductors to stand by." Said a female voice at the bridge.

The female watched as the male fox turned the thirty six switches from secured to stand by. She saw him talk to the bridge a second and heard the reply.

"Control room, this is the bridge, understand that the super conductors are in standby."

Minutes later, the voice from the bridge replied., "Control room, bridge, energize the super conductors."

Nancy saw Josiah pull the same button causing a red strobe light pulsate in the space. She saw him turn the thirty six switches to the on position. The female human heard the sound of a large electric motor spinning up to speed and a slight shudder in the floor.

"Go ahead and take a look, I heard it looks really cool when they energize." Said the fox.

Nancy walked to the window watching as sparks appear around the conductors. Then the sparks started slowly spinning around the structure and speed up with the spark intensity going fast till the familiar lighting storm is around the conductors., "Wow that is so cool." Said the female human. She walked back near the gauges on the wall watching as the needles moved to the green section on the faces. Nancy did an adjustment on a few making sure that the needles stayed in the green part.

The Navy base under construction, minutes later.

Dan son heard the sound of thunder and the sound rumbled for five seconds and stopped. He looked up seeing a flat black colored ship coming out of the clouds. The ship did something different than the other vulpine ships. He saw it head to the airport and slowly descended to the ground and skids extended out of the ship. Dan son watched as the large ship slowly rested on the ground. Then four more of the ships appeared and they parked six hundred feet in the air.

The Lt ran up to Dan son saluting him., "Sir, the Arrow has a problem with its super conductors. It had to land at the airport; the engineering crew is checking the plant over to find the problem sir."

He knew that the ships in question sat for thirty plus years orbiting a distant planet and there was bound to be some problems that needs to be iron out., "Ok Lt, let's check out the newest ships of the United States Navy." The Admiral said walking to one of the transports.

Minutes later, control room of the Fleche.

"Attention on deck!" Shouted Nancy as Dan son walked in the space.

The Admiral saw a third class Machinist mate with a petite vixen at a panel with thirty six large switches at the on position., "So, tell me about this room Petty officer."

Nancy was glad that Josiah told her everything about this space. She told the two star Admiral how the plant worked and saw that only humans are the only personal in the space. The human female was about to tell him about Josiah when the Admiral said.

"I need to check out the ship Arrow because she landed at the airport due to something wrong with the super conductors." He said and heard the vixen say something.

"How about I take a look at sir." Said the vixen.

He looked at the vixen and at the third class petty officer. Then he saw that the petty officer needed to say something to him., "Spit it out petty officer."

"Sir, the vixen here works for the ship repair facility at the fox's home world sir." Nancy answered in a crisp manner.

Dan son looked at the vixen seeing something different about her., "Her copper coloring is darker. Wait, she's a male fox." He thought to himself doing a chuckle shaking his head., "Ok, follow me, andlet's go to the ship that's broken." The Admiral looks at the petty officer with a wink., "I like to have you come to my office tomorrow and tell me how this plant is. Don't worry; I'll have a talk with your division officer when I leave." Dan son walks out with Josiah following him.

Transport heading to the Arrow.

"So, who are you Todd? I had been in the Navy for twenty nine years and I know when a male is dressed up as a female." Dan son said to Josiah with a grin. He looked at the female Lt. looking at the male fox with a shock look., "Lt, I knew when he talked. A young personal fresh out of training school stammer and act nervous around senior officers."

"Sir, it will take me a long time to explain why I did this Sir. As for what might be wrong with the Arrow, I need to talk to the personal that was at the control room. It can be anything, a relay wired wrong or the wrong fuses sir." Said the male fox to the Admiral.

He looked at the vixen who he knew is a male fox. Dan son looked at the green colored catlike eyes and looked at the hands seeing tiny patches of fur missing showing the dark grey colored skin. The human male nodded., "Had me fooled till I took a closer look at you. Dam that is a good disguise."

Control room, ex-vulpine ship Arrow.

The human male and vixen stood at attention as Dan son, the female Lt and a vixen walked in the space. John, a second class Machinist mate was at the controls when the super conductors failed making the ship land at the air port. He told the Admiral what the conductors did and saw the vixen looking at him. Then she opened a cabinet and took some tools out. The vixen removed the panel looking at the wiring and relays.

Dan son watched as Josiah worked on the panel hearing the vixen saying.

"Who wired this relay, no wonder the super conductors failed. The cooling pump didn't energized cooling the conductors, no wonder they shut off. There's a safety system that shuts off the conductors when they get hot. Give me a minute, I'll have this relay fixed and you can have the ship lift off." Josiah said working on the panel.

The Admiral looked at the vixen who is staring at the fox working on the panel. He saw her sniffing the air still looking at Josiah. Dan son walked up to her whispering., "I like to have a talk with you."

"Yes sir, I know this vixen is a Todd. An apprentice doesn't have the knowledge in opening a very old panel. I know of five Todd's working at the repair yards at our home world, only they can do a repair like this sir." The vixen grins at the older human male., "Later, we half to have a talk about this sir. Soon, my government is going to find out that a Todd is missing and they are going to start looking for him, if it is a certain Todd. I have a good idea who he is sir." She looks at the fox looking at the tail seeing a bent area and grins again., "Josiah!" And the vixen working on the panel turns looking at her.

Josiah turned to the sound of his name seeing the vixen grinning at him. He looked at her and sighs., "Hello Anna, please keep this only to the people in this space."

"You petty officer, keep this incident secret. If a rumor spreads of a male fox being here on Earth, I know who's responsible. So don't talk about this, that's an order understand me petty officer." He said in a bellow.

"Yes sir, what about her?" John asked pointing at the vixen.

"I won't say anything sir, but remember what I said about my government sir." Replied Anna.

When the group walked out of the space after Josiah repaired the panel. Anna stopped Josiah and whispered to him., "My silence comes at a price; I hope you pay me a visit in a couple of days."

"What gave me away?" Asked the fox.

"That bent area on your tail when you had that accident a couple of years ago." The vixen said with a grin as the group walked out of the space.

The next day, Dan sons' office.

Nancy with her first class, CPO and her division officer walked in and stand at attention in front of his desk. She saw Josiah standing by the Admiral not wearing his disguise.

"At ease, I summoned Petty officer Nancy here due to a situation that transpired when the Fleche left the Vulpine home world. It seems that a yard worker wanted to come to our planet due to some things he talked with me. I spoken with the president and he is going to grant temporary asylum to our guest till the vulpine government finds out. Then hopefully we can work out something with them when the time comes. So standing near me is the yard worker who spent the last five months getting those five ships we recently acquired running. His name is Josiah and as you noticed, he's a male vulpine and you may have known as Mechanic apprentice Josie." The Admiral said watching the sailors' expressions.

"Did you know of this Petty officer?" Asked the division officer looking at her.

"I found out yesterday before we landed sir..." Nancy trailed off and was about to say something else when she was interrupted.

"I gave her a direct order to keep her mouth shut." Dan son said to the Lt Jg, who nodded and the rest of her chain of command stayed quiet looking at the male fox. They didn't hold it against her because a two star Admiral does outrank everyone on the Fleche.

The group walked out of the office building acting as a temporary administration building for the base being built. Nancy looked up seeing all five of the ex-vulpine ships hovering six hundred feet in the air., "Yeah he had me fooled sir, finally gave himself away after we turned on the super conductors. I was going to get a hold of my first class and chief, but the Admiral showed telling me to keep my mouth shut sir."

The Lt. Jg listened to his third class understanding that a two star has the authority to tell someone to keep their mouth shut., "Was there any clues Petty officer?"

"Not really sir, the only odd thing was I never seen her naked. Always wearing her coveralls. As for showers, the vulpines took showers at a different time than us female humans." Said the female human as the group walked to a transport.

"Alright, let's not talk about this, as for Mechanic apprentice Josie, she gotten transferred to work for the Admiral. Chief, we will talk later of why she's working for the Admiral to let everyone else know why she's no longer on the ship." Said the division officer as they walked up the ramp to the transport.

The next day, the Admirals' office.

Josiah literally lived at this office since he repaired the controls to the Arrow. The male fox found out that the United States Navy is keeping the original names of the five ex-vulpine ships due to American sailors are superstitious. The female Lt. told him that it's bad luck to change a ships' name. So he talked to her of what has been happening with the males of his race for a long time.

"Kind of the same thing happen with female humans for a long time. We had the same restrictions as you, but you weren't allowed to leave your home system?" She asked him.

"Yes, I had to apply for a special permit to go to one of our colonies, but I was denied. I just want to settle with one female, because due to me being a genius, I get called to mate with a vixen. Must have mated with hundreds of different vixens because they want their kit to have the same intelligence level as me." The fox said hearing a snicker at the door. He turned seeing Dan son with a grin on his face.

"Whoa, no wonder you want to live here. I can see your reason of leaving your world." The Admiral said sitting at his desk and looked at the male fox., "That vixen Anna requested to go on a date with you tonight."

"Tell her I said yes, but I feel like staying at this base." The male fox said knowing what the vixen wanted., "I hope Nancy doesn't find out about this." Josiah thought to himself bracing for what he had to do with the vixen. He just gotten burned out and want to be away from stress, plus getting called to servicing vixens.

That night after the date with Anna.

"I must admit, I don't blame you for what you did. But our government is going to look for you." Said the vixen holding his head.

"I just felt constrained and on a leash. The only time I felt fine was when I was working on our ships at the repair yard. But some vixens did talk me in joining them in an empty room for a quickie." Josiah said looking at Anna's' blue eyes and stroked her blonde head hair.

The vixen rested her hands on his shoulders touching his nose with hers'., "I admit, I hope things work out for you." She walks away and looks at him grinning., "Hope to take you on a date again in the future." Anna said with a grin and walks away doing a wave.

Weeks later, Admirals' office.

Josiah stands by Dan son looking at a couple of vixens looking at him. It seemed that the vulpine government found out he left the home world on one of the ships given to Earth. He breathed a sigh of relief that his human friend Alan hasn't been found out and the human covered his tracks well. From the evidence they found, it looked like he did all the stuff by himself., "Alan, glad you made sure that I alone was responsible." Josiah thought to himself.

"After talking to you leader called the President, we work out a compromise. You can stay on this planet, but every six months. You will go to the home world for a one week availably for servicing vixens who want to mate with you. Are we on agreement on this?" One of the vixens asked the Admiral who nodded and she looked at the male fox., "Do you agree to this Josiah?"

"Yes maam, I agree to the terms." Answered the fox with a neutral expression.

"In six months, you report to the Moon Shadow when it heads home to the home world." The other vixen said and the door opened as Anna walked in the office., "Mechanic second class Anna will be your escort to the home world when you get there. Will you have any problems doing this assignment Anna?"

Anna grinned., "No problem maam, I have no problems with this assignment maam."

"Then we have an agreement, I am glad this worked out and both of us win." The vixen with the copper colored head hair. The group started to leave and the other vixen spoke.

" Pretty soon, the vixens on our ships will find out that a Todd is on this planet, so you might be servicing vixens on this planet." Said the vixen with dark brown head hair. She saw him nod at her. Both vixens with Anna left the office.

Months later, walking to a transport.

Josiah walked with Anna and Nancy to a waiting transport. He is in a relationship with Nancy and Anna. Nancy didn't mind being with a vixen because she wanted to be with the male fox. So everything worked out for the male vulpine who wanted to be on another planet. He looked at the transport that was going to take him to the Moon Shadow., "See you in two weeks love." Josiah said to Nancy giving her a hug and kiss.

"I'll be waiting for you, be safe love." The human female said.

"I'll keep an eye on him for you." Anna said giving Nancy a hug good bye.

Nancy watched as the ramp closed and the transport lifted off. She's going to miss the male fox she fell in love with. The human female shielded her eyes as the transport lifted off and flew to the Super Dreadnought hovering nearby., "See you in two weeks my Fox Mc Cloud." Nancy whispered wiping a tear sliding down her cheek. She walked to another transport that's going to the USS Fleche SSC-1 (Star Ship Carrier).
