Idea #209 - A short adult story about a futuristic desert workshop where a male coyote and a tomboy jaguar get intimate after working on an old piece of machinery together. Involves a shower, oil spill, and awkward moments. The coyote is a shy person and struggles to announce his true feelings.

I had this idea when I saw a large piece of machinery on a long flatbed truck when returning from work. Random! I should've finished this up two years ago, but I'm not very disciplined about writing, and the interest for this idea quickly slipped away :( So I put in the effort to complete this half finished piece, even if I wasn't motivated to! I do like writing loving adult scenes though, and ordinary life moments (I dislike the phrase slice of life). I'm also not very creative with science fiction themes since my background is only in economics and history... kind of the opposite of what one needs for fiction. For me, ideas like these don't tend to do well because there are no humans involved and it isn't tribal. Had a tough time with the jaguar's name too...

This is exactly 7,400 words, more than 4,000 of which were written within one week. So please let me know if any sections feel too abrupt or if there are any mistakes.

Edit: autocorrections corrected! Thank you!

The heat of the day was annoying without a cloud in sight. The dryness of the flat parched earth diminished its intensity, but only slightly. A simmering horizon offered no natural reprieves for the harsh environment. The mountains along the backdrop appeared within reach, but were more than a three day walk away. The was not a single standing structure for several miles in the desert flat. A small junkyard bordered a lonely garage and simple building complex in the middle of the arid plain. Tumble weeds weren't uncommon, and outnumbered visitors nearly every day.

The only two inhabitants of the area were busy in the junkyard bordering the workshop. Zach, the male coyote wearing a once white t-shirt and simple pair of jeans stood still and looked around. A pair of green eyes squinted to scan over the harsh landscape. The coyote shielded them with a hand from the occasional reflection of sunlight off various metal and glass points. His gaze scanned ahead through the abandoned parts and machines before focusing in the only other person who worked with him in the dusty shop.

'There goes the lady...' He watched a female jaguar clamor up a large beastly machine. The word 'lady' only seemed to apply in a legal sense, since she was a tomboy by every sense of the word. Alexandra, or Alex as she preferred, loved working on machines, getting dirty, and joking around. Growing up with six brothers might have influenced that. The female feline only wore a pair of old overalls, and usually nothing else while working. Glimpsing her breasts was as easy as mistaking her for a guy during a day's work, if there was anything to see. The feline had a nearly flat chest which matched her tomboyish manner to a tee.

'Her overalls are baggy when she leans forward...' He could glimpse something feminine from the side. Zach would be lying if he said he didn't love it.

"Phew!" The jaguar said as she climbed onto the single seat, and sat down at the controls. Zach casually walked forward to where the "new" large machine was recently dropped off.

"Be careful." The coyote warned from below.

"I'm good. The seat is comfy." She grinned and looked down at the canine.

"Just don't fall." He flatly spoke.

"Lalala!" She replied with a singing voice and swung back into the chair. Zach folded his arms and half grinned. Despite her demeanor, she knew what she was doing... for the most part.

"Say, who were we working on this one for? I can't even pronounce his name." She wiped her muzzle. "It's Parma-derma-something or whatever." The feline couldn't remember the name exactly. "He seems like a person who smokes in an alleyway and makes sketchy business deals." Zach held back a laugh.

"I think you're close." He shrugged with a grin. "But his name is Palladuma."

"Sounds good to me." Alex began tinkering with the levers and controls. The engine suddenly came to life with a slumbering rumble

"I'm surprised that it starts-!" A loud rev of the engine made him yank his ears down.

"Heyyy! Look over here!" A shout called out above the loud rumbling of the engine.

'I wish she wouldn't do that!' He rubbed his ears and looked up. The jaguar was leaning back with her legs over the steering wheel.

"Magic touch!" She grinned and waved.

"Real magical..." Zach waited for the ringing in his ears to stop. Alex cut off the motor and scrambled down the machine.

"You could hear it's one of those KA-2 engines, so it'll be good for just about anything that wants to fly low to the ground, or carry heavy cargo."

"I definitely heard it." He mentioned. "What about the last delivery here?"

"Right! Let's go inspect it!" She remembered. He eagerly followed her around the junkyard to a "new" piece of machinery that was recently delivered. Parked by one of the mounds of scrap metal and old appliances was an odd piece. Zach tapped the side causing a dull metallic sound to reverberate. It was supposed to be a giant yellow drum that held oil, but years, possibly decades of use rendered it mostly covered in black soot with hints of encroaching rust. Alex tackled the problem without hesitation.

"Let's see what's left inside here." Grabbing a trusty wrench, she set her sights on a rusted valve. However, the amount of rust proved difficult to overcome. The jaguar gripped the tool and strained to loosen the valve's bolts.

"Take it easy. It's probably just-"

"Come on ya hunk uh junk." She grunted and used her foot to gain some leverage. With effort, she strained to pry it off. The sudden ping of breaking metal pierced the air. In a split second oil gushed out and poured over her front like a rupturing geyser. Zach reacted just in time and caught her by the back to break her fall.

"Oof!" He landed on his back with her weight atop him. Completely winded, he coughed and gasped for breath as she rolled off him. The quiet splatter of the remaining oil quickly faded away.

"Gah!" A hissing cry pierced the hot air. "I'm covered in oil!" Alex growled. Zach managed to get a good look at what had happened to her. His mouth opened, but not a single word could form. At first it looked like a giant octopus had nuked the jaguar with ink. Her trusty pair of overalls were doused in the thick black liquid. The jaguar's exposed fur didn't fare any better. Oil had splattered on the white fur just below her neck, along her arms, and down to her feet.

"I'm cleaning up." She held her arms out and began walking back to the main building.

"That's impressive..." Zach stood up and stared at the trail of oil Alex had left behind in the dirt. Plenty of cuss words could be heard at a distance even after she disappeared from sight. 'I feel pretty lucky.' He looked at the oil surrounding him like a shockwave. His gaze lifted to the road that stretched all the way towards the horizon.

"I guess we're done for the hot evening." Zach sighed as he gazed across the bright, flat landscape for a while. The hard dirt lacked any vegetation and the heat seemed to sizzle just above the ground. The expansive flat was perfect for testing vehicle speed.

"It's hot every day." He had moved in with her to get experience working on various machines without the throng of city life breaching his senses every day. The other advantage was the absence of working outside a nightmarish bureaucratic structure. There were no over demanding bosses to constantly report to, or fierce competitors trying to undermine what he did. Whatever job was done, it was completely up to him and her. There was no half footing anything. Like the desert plain they were in, you either made it or you didn't. The coyote liked it that way.

"Some got on me..." Looking down, he noticed a few oil stains on his clothes and hands. Zach yanked the shirt over his head and walked over to the building. The coyote was careful to avoid walking over the trail of oil on the ground. He approached the door to the garage where a hose was also set up to an outdoor faucet. Oil stains on clothes and fur was a regular occurrence for both of them, but Alex had clearly been soaked.

"Oh wow." Zach found a dripping hose and abandoned set of overalls were left outside the garage door. It looked like an odd sci-fi horror scene.

'I hope she didn't track too much oil inside.' He thought to himself before opening the door. A rush of cooler air from inside brought relief to his body. Quickly stepping inside, the door automatically shut behind him. The lights cut on revealing a spacious room with a concrete floor. A noticeable musty smell hung in the air. Various "vehicles" were inside the garage which also doubled as a hangar of sorts. Partially constructed machines and disassembled vehicles lined the spaces. Numerous spare parts were everywhere as well. There were plenty of tools that had been there long before either of them had started working at the small junkyard. Neither of them had touched half of the scrap in the area despite working on numerous projects together.

Zach's footsteps softly echoed across the long garage towards another door. There was no monstrous trail of oil for the jaguar, but there were plenty of other old stains on the floor. Going inside, he heard the lights automatically cut off behind him. The junkyard's main building was just like an ordinary house with an attached garage. It didn't smell like the garage and was otherwise a tiny little sheltered oasis in the middle of an arid plain. Despite being an innovative mechanical warehouse, the house lacked much of the technology that any city possessed. It wasn't powered by underground plasma lines, but instead from a nearby solar field. The home had a large voice activated home screen to watch TV as well as interface with others, and a small home base styled hologram projector. It wasn't much, but it was more than enough for the pair of workers.

However, inside the house everything was quiet at the moment, and there was no sign of the oil slick jaguar. After checking a few panels on the walls, Zach stopped in the kitchen to have a quick meal before showering. In the meantime there was no sign of the jaguar anywhere.

'Maybe she went back outside to hose off.' He guessed. Leaving the kitchen he walked down another hallway that led to the bathroom and two bedrooms. He looked around before dropping his shirt into a nearby clothes hamper. Walking over, the coyote paused before opening the door. Zach didn't hear the water running, so he naturally stepped into the bathroom. Despite the lack of noise, he found that it was in fact occupied. Gaze dipping low, Zach found Alex inside the dormant shower. The jaguar was seated on a low three legged stool barely large enough for an adult to sit on. A bucket of water sat within arms reach along her spaced legs. The feline's spotted fur was throughly soaked but the black stain of oil was almost fresh along most of her front and sides. Suds and bubbles were trying to take back the normal color of her fur through a cleansing foam. The rag on her shoulder dropped to the wet floor with a slapping sound.

"What? You need to shower too?" The jaguar looked up at him with a questioning expression while her hands didn't pause scrubbing herself. They were used to awkward moments like this. After all, they had to share nearly every space from the garage to the shower while living together.

"Yeah, but I didn't know you were in here." He managed to speak. "I didn't hear any water running."

"You can go ahead. Just don't dangle your junk in front of my face." She told him. Zach felt a tingle of fear at the thought. His thought about her teeth made him hesitate to accept her conditions. "Well?" The jaguar stopped and looked at him questioningly.

"Uh... Need some help?" He offered instead.

"Sure, you came just in time." She wiggled her nose and resumed cleaning herself. Zach felt a little giddy surge at her acceptance.

"Where do you want me to-"

"You better not reach for my chest first." She lifted her foot instead for him. His face barely hid a grimace at the sight of the dirty pads partially stained with oil and dust. The thick black liquid covered the fur atop her foot like icing on a cake, but nothing about it was savory in any sense. The coyote finished disrobing and joined her in the shower.

"I can't have dessert first." He joked in amusement and sat down on the cement floor. The cool cement and hint of warm water underneath gave his rear a mixed chill. Placing her foot in his lap, he grabbed a wet rag and began scrubbing to little avail. 'The rag doesn't get everything off.' He started rubbing the bottom of her foot with his thumbs instead. Only gradually did he see the dark stains begin to lift from her sole.

"Hmmmm." A soft hum caught his attention. Looking up, Zach found the jaguar slouched back, wearing a pleasant grin along her black lipped muzzle. Seeing the feline so content forced a grin to curl up the corner of his lips. Even though the jaguar was stained with oil and soapy suds were oozing down her wet spotty body, she looked great.

"You must be getting a kick out of this." He presumed while still rubbing her foot.

"I could kick a lot of things right now." She placed her other foot in his lap before lazily scrubbing through her belly fur.

"Hmm..." Zach wasn't too thrilled at the second foot, but began rubbing it anyway. An occasional hum from the jaguar let him know he was doing just fine. Unfortunately for the coyote, she had already managed to scrub her front fur clean of oil when he finished cleaning her feet.

"Done already?"

"Yep." Alex sounded off happily. Standing up, she turned her backside to him. Zach blinked at the array of spots as a brief hiss echoed in the small space. Water from the shower head poured onto them, instantly soaking his fur.

'Ack.' The coyote wiped his eyes from the sudden shower of water.

"Phew!" Placing her hands on her hips, Alex gratefully sighed as the water poured over her chest. The buds of flesh on each small mound were finally noticeable. A bright healthy pink suited them better than being covered in thick black oil. Without a second thought, he began rubbing her back.

"Mmmm..." He felt the feline's vibrating hum as she loosened up. Zach felt a little happiness stir within him as he rinsed through her fur. From the bottom of his eye he could see her long tail tip flicking contently. But the moment didn't last long. Alex stepped away from the shower when she was finished.

"Thanks." She briefly touched his shoulder as she brushed past him. The coyote felt his cheeks warm, but the jaguar paused before leaving. "Do you want me to return the favor?" She half raised her brow. The question caught him completely off guard.

"Well, umm..." His felt his mouth dry as the water poured over him, but his prolonged hesitation prompted her to grab a towel and leave. The jaguar quickly dried off, not minding the coyote's prolonged stare.

"I will be eating if you need me." She left the bathroom with damp spiky fur. Zachary blinked as he found himself alone in the shower.

'She always does that!' He wiggled his nose crossly as frustration burned through his cheeks. The idea of having her wash his back sounded very nice, but he clammed up at the worst possible moment. Turning to face the shower, the coyote thought to himself as the cool water doused his regrets.

'Calm down. She doesn't like you... For all I know, she could be into women more than me!' He thought. "Well, at least we'd be on the same page then." He mumbled to himself soberly. The image of her seated on the stool remained imprinted onto his vision. It was like a classy scene born from a painting. The coyote briefly frowned and opened his eyes.

"Who likes a flat chested tomboy jaguar anyway?" He asked the empty stool beside him. However, his thoughts refused to stop thinking about her.

'Then why do I think she's hot?' Clenching a fist, he stared at the ceiling searching for an answer. A defeated sighed blew past his lips as he leaned back. He didn't want to openly admit anything of the sort. It felt like an imaginary chain was tugging at his throat. "I like her." The words came out with a mere whisper that faintly echoed inside the bathroom. The canine felt his cheeks warm despite no one hearing him. It felt like such a sacred secret, even though they were the only two people in the entire area. Being embarrassed of love was an odd phenomenon.

Zach cut the shower off, stepped out, and fetched a towel. The coyote tamped down his feelings and dried off before slipping away to his room. Once dressed, he ventured back out into the hall and towards the kitchen.

He found Alex already there. She was seated in the squeaky chair at the tiny kitchen table, and still very naked. Despite her personality, the jaguar never waltzed around in the nude or even half dressed before. She was a stunning figure in Zach's eyes. Even though she was virtually flat chested, the obvious pink spouts of flesh poking freely from her white chest fur were feminine in their own right. Her legs were well built, but her arms were slender and nimble. And every space on her body was covered in pretty spots, but their presence was diminished along her white furred chest, stomach, and downy furred groin. The jaguar never worried about how she looked to others from what he could tell, and her nonchalant attitude made her all the more attractive in the coyote's mind.

"Um... Hey." He wasn't sure if Alex wanted some privacy.

"Hey." She mumbled and sipped from a glass bottle drink while perusing something on a tablet. Seeing her apparent obliviousness to him, or indifference, he decided to stick around.

"You don't drink, do you?" Zach scratched behind an ear. He knew that the jaguar never did, but she was full of surprises.

"Nope." She sipped the drink. "It's lime soda."

"Sounds gross." His nose wrinkled at the thought.

"Yeah, it's kinda gross." She shrugged.

"You're... still naked." He pointed out the obvious.

"Yeah, I'm air drying my fur. My overalls are a mess, and I think there's still some oil on me." She plucked at a spotty spot on her fur coat. "I'm still a little greasy here and there, so I don't want that to rub off onto anything I have."

"Ok." He didn't complain. The jaguar swiped the screen on her tablet and the screen faded.

"Thanks for washing my feet... and rubbing them." She quietly spoke and looked up at him. "It felt nice."

"Yeah. Um. You're welcome." He shrugged with a grin. "I thought you'd like it since you were on your feet all day." The jaguar nodded and finished off her lime soda. The moments ticked by without either of them saying anything.

'Sheesh! This silence is awkward!' He wanted to say something, but it felt like his throat had closed up. 'Just say something nice!' Zach begged himself to speak, but his throat felt tight and dry with embarrassment and anxiety. His time to act ticked up however.

"Well, I'll be in my room if you need me." She mentioned before standing up, treating the coyote to an eyeful of her naked figure.

"Ok." He dumbly nodded and watched her toss the bottle away before calmly walking around him to the hall. There was something about the lingering flick of her tail that beckoned him to follow her, but she didn't glance over her shoulder. The naked jaguar slipped away into the hall before he heard the door to her room open and close.

Zach rubbed his eyes and wondered what he should do. Glancing out the window he could see the edge of the junkyard in the fading light. Darkness would cover the entire flat plain in less than half an hour. Was it a good sign, a bad sign, or a sign at all? The minutes ticked by before he dared to make a move. Butterflies in his stomach, Zach cautiously walked into the hallway and approached Alex's room.

He stood frozen at her door. Unlike the automatic sliding doors in the garage and entrance, their bedroom doors were ancient relics of the past. They had bulbous knobs that were mounted onto one side of the doorframe, and had to be twisted by hand and then pushed. The coyote had run into his bedroom door several times when he first arrived. It still happened on occasion.

The door to her bedroom felt like an impenetrable wall, tall and foreboding. It was a gate to the unknown. Zach's heart pounded relentlessly inside his chest. The coyote felt like he was staring at a larger rib cage containing his nervous heart.

'Stop being afraid!' He told himself and tried mustering up his courage. The shadows were trailing very long, and the hallway itself had become dark. His muscles tenses with vulnerability.

'Just knock already!' He told himself, yet his hand refused to budge. Standing there without making a love was tortuous for the coyote. 'Why am I standing here?!' His muscles were ready to move, but he just couldn't make himself knock on her door. Cowardice and fear turned into frustration as he slunk away to his room for the night...

A hologram whirred to life as a figure projected itself into the room with a ghostly blue light. Zach the coyote stood idle as the light took a faint translucent shape of a casually dressed dingo hovering in the main room. Their boss normally contacted them in the morning once a week about projects and other tasks that they had been assigned. Due to working in a rural space they didn't have the best access to remote teleconferencing via TV screens. Holograms were lower in quality but cheaper.

"Hello? Is the transmission working?" A static laced voice asked.

"Yes. We can hear you." Zach answered.

"Good. I hope you two are doing good work on the Kappersky unit for the stock hover car race."

"Yes sir. We've been working on that for several days."

"What about that drum unit? It should've arrived yesterday." He added.

"Um." Zach looked over at Alex standing close by, but the jaguar was oddly stoic with her arms tightly folded across her front. "It was rusty and had some oil left inside. Nothing too interesting."

"Understood." The dingo sounded disappointed. "Did that crater mag-lev unit have a good working engine in it?"

"Yes," Zach answered, "Alex tested it yesterday and everything runs smoothly." He could still imagine the ringing in his sensitive ears.

"Excellent. I need both of you to uncouple the engine. I have a client who is ready and willing to pick it up with their own transport unit."

"Yeah, we can do that." Zach affirmed.

"I'll let him know to stop by tomorrow. Have everything ready by then for pick up. Over and out." He said before ending the transmission. The hologram figure disappeared from sight and the room became silent.

"Okay, I guess we can take care of that first." He suggested, but Alex was already heading outside. Something was obviously off. The jaguar wasn't a morning person, but normally she would crack a joke or two by now.

"Hey, uh, everything alright?" He asked. She looked over her shoulder and gave him a glare before walking into the junkyard.

***

The rest of the day was icy cold from her silence. It was an abrupt change from the day before. Alex avoided Zach, and the coyote gave her as much distance and privacy as she wanted. By the end of the day not a single word had been uttered between the two. Zach began to worry, and by the evening he wondered f last night's botched attempt to knock on her door had anything to do with it.

'I feel like I need to apologize or man up.' The coyote left the garage hoping to find Alex in the kitchen or main room. Unfortunately, the jaguar wasn't anywhere to be found. 'She is probably on her room...' He frowned and meandered through the main room. A dull light caught the canine's eye. One of the wall panels by a round chair remained softly aglow.

'Oh?' Zach took notice. The jaguar had been playing music while he was tidying things up in the garage. A little curiosity took ahold of the coyote, especially after her day's long silence.

'What kind of music is this?' He perused the collection playlist. 'Golden Virginia by... JJ? Is that even a real name?' He wondered and looked at the next songs. 'Out of Reach by The Legendary House cats... Rain by Blind Melon...' Her playlist was anything but normal to him. However, that was partially why Zach liked the jaguar so much. She wasn't a typical girly girl. She wasn't afraid to cuss, get dirty, or doll herself up like a wannabe model. What you saw is what you got, and she was someone that he liked and wanted!

He looked across the room and decided to try again. At the very least they couldn't continue to live and work together in complete silence. After turning off the panel Zach took a deep breath. The coyote calmly walked into the hallway and approached Alex's bedroom door. A creepy second of déjà vu made him nervous. All of the feelings of nervousness and anxiety replaced his brief confidence.

'Not this again.' He chastised himself for being such an introvert, and coward to himself. His shaky hand rose up towards the door. His fist neared the surface only to stop just shy of touching it. His greatest fear of repeating last night's debacle was repeating itself. The idle inaction aggravated the canine to no end.

'Just knock already you fool!' He chided himself for hesitating, but he couldn't break the deadlock inside his mind. 'All you have to do is knock, Zach.' He told himself. 'She can't come to your rescue...' He gasped as the door opened up on its own. The coyote found himself face to face with the tomboy jaguar herself. She was wearing a plain oversized t-shirt with a large palm tree design, and likely nothing else underneath. Her striking eyes looked at his raised fist and then skeptically back at the coyote.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I stood at your door last night for at least half an hour!" He blurted out. Zach's eyes widened at the truth he had readily spilled to her. Alex's ears perked up in surprise

"You what?" Her fixated on him.

"I... I-I just... I couldn't-" Zach felt uncomfortable trying to even admit his feelings in the slightest way. His heart leapt around inside his chest demanding to be heard, but his brain begged for silence to avoid rejection. Alex's gaze softened somewhat resembling a look of defeat.

"Go and sit on my bed. I'll be right back." She pointed over her shoulder before brushing past him. Zach did just that and entered the jaguar's bedroom. The personal space was an anomaly to the mostly organized coyote. He rarely popped in her bedroom and respected her privacy.

'It smells like her...' Zach sat down on the jaguar's bed which felt like an island of normalcy in a small sea of quirks. Clothes and little gadgets were visibly sticking out of an open drawer. Zach wondered if the rest of the jaguar's drawers even had clothes inside them. Some random spare parts were cluttered into a corner, namely a handful of copper pipes in a blue bucket. A small cactus plant was in her windowsill beside a bottle full of sand. A pair of paper airplanes were hanging from above. Prints of city life and forests lined one wall with a large printed map of a city's transportations routes on the adjacent wall. Glancing above, a large industrial sized fan was her ceiling fan.

Her working desk was an odd concave shape along one side. It had a pneumatic lift to adjust its height from sitting to standing. A mess of papers, folders, and pencils were scattered on the desk. Zach couldn't make out exactly what was sketched onto some of the papers, but it looked work related. A large hand welded lantern glowed innocently enough on the corner. Most intriguing of all the items on the desk was a model antikythera mechanism. On the wall above, old fashioned license plates bore the phrase 'Wrench Wench' on their surfaces in black letters. The name "Pan" was signed in the bottom corner. His gaze wondered over to the nightstand beside her bed. Amongst a tissue box, tube of Chapstick, and pair of sunglasses were some interestingly titled books. Reaching over, Zach picked up the first book in the stack.

"The Tree Planting Wolf and other Stories inspired by Hibbary." He hardly believed the words he was reading. The front cover depicted a naked female wolf with a mischievous grin while carrying a shovel. Several recently planted trees were visible under the watch of the cloudy full moon. Dipping through a few pages he came across another eye catching title. 'The Topless Pirates' a story about swashbuckling ladies who have forgone tops while sailing the warm salty seas! Includes original sketches by Ms. Rose. Further on, 'The Midnight Smuggler' a short tale about a spirits smuggling badger who forgoes her clothes to elude customs.

"What in the world..." Zach flipped through the pages of the whimsical book describing adventures of an all female pirate group. Alice in Wonderland seemed tame by comparison. The soft click of the door handle alerted his ears. He quickly dropped the book when the jaguar reappeared at the doorway.

Despite being the only two people in the entire area, she quietly shut the door behind her. Zach held his breath feeling anxious butterflies inside his stomach. Alex walked over and set at her desk, swiveling her chair to face the coyote on her bedside.

"Alright. Spill it." She said with a hint of agitation as her tail twirled above the floor. "What are you trying to say to me?" Her direct question sought a clear answer from him. His hands tightly balled up and clutched his legs. It took him a moment to say the words, it almost pained him, but they had to come forth. There was no other time to wait for.

"I like you... a lot." Zach said with a trailing exhale. It felt like layers of old paint had been stripped from his body, or his chest had been released from a heavy set of weights. "That felt good to say." He gave a nervous grin only to worry how she would handle his stupidly misplaced affection. The jaguar's eyes didn't blink.

"I knew it." She looked directly at him and grinned. He felt relief at her reaction, but also surprised.

"What?" His jaw slackened.

"Oh come on, every woman knows when a man is looking her up, even if it's behind her back." Alex told him.

"Why didn't you tell me that you knew!?" He demanded to know. "I've been holding this in for some time now!"

"I don't know why shy guys have such a difficult time saying things. You could've just told me." She plainly mentioned.

"It's stressful!" He exclaimed. "And why were you mad at me this morning?" He couldn't help but ask.

"Because you didn't visit me last night!" She blatantly told him. "You showered with me, and I sat in front of you naked in the kitchen. What other clues do you need? A sign nailed to your forehead?" The coyote suddenly felt glad that she didn't have a hammer in her bedroom.

"Um. Yes." He admitted.

"Sheesh... A naked lady sitting in front of you, who could've guessed that I was suggesting something to you? Sometimes you can be really thick in the head."

"I don't know, I can't read you at all. You're cool about everything." Zach shrugged. "At least I'm not an enigma like you are." He challenged.

"I'm not an enigma."

"Well, you are hot." He let the word slip causing her ears to perk up. There was a brief silence before she answered him.

"I never really heard that word from you before." She looked away with a bashful look on her face.

"You look really nice." The coyote nodded. "And your humor is top notch." His compliments made her bashfully smile.

"This is going to sound crazy, so don't yap at me." She spoke quietly. He dumbly nodded, unsure what to expect from the tomboy. "Please, treat me like a lady ok?" She asked. "Even though I'm from the city, I'm not a cosmopolitan free floater, you know?" She mentioned.

"What do you mean?" The coyote wasn't following her at all.

"I don't just have sex with anyone... Well, it means something special to me." Her eyes never wavered while she spoke to him. She was plainly and honestly telling him how she felt about it. Zach offered his word to her.

"I understand." He told her. "But I'm a little nervous."

"Don't tell me you're nervous." Her ears fell back a little as she spoke. "Because I'm nervous."

"What?" He looked at her in disbelief. "I am, but you are too?" The coyote found that impossible to believe, but the jaguar's lack of a rebuttal confirmed it. "You're always so... go get 'em crazy. You even showered with me."

"I like showering with you." She innocently shrugged. "You're not all grabby hands with my body." She mimicked with her own hands.

"You'd bite my junk off." He held back a laugh. "That's a good deterrent."

"I have never... done it before." She told him.

"Really?" He was dumbfounded. "I thought you had at least... once."

"Who wants to screw a flat chested jaguar, other than you?" She eyed him. Zach looked around and didn't answer. "See? No one else."

"You're just making me nervous now." He gulped.

"Why would you be nervous after all this?" She asked him. "It's just us."

"Well... Neither have I." Zach admitted. "The sex part." He clarified.

"Wow." She mumbled and leaned back for a moment. "We're both losers."

"Not anymore, if you want to that is." He offered with a little hope.

"You are sweet when you politely beat around the bush." Alex smiled broadly and hooked a finger under the bottom of her shirt. With a graceful tug, the jaguar pulled the garment over her head and slipped it off. She wasn't wearing anything underneath the oversized shirt just like Zach had imagined. The shirt was tossed aside where it landed unceremoniously onto the floor. Standing up, Alex trailed her hands down her bare sides before reaching up to her breasts. With a look of frustration she tried pressing her flat chest together to create cleavage.

"Well, I can't plump them up like other women can." She looked away dejected, allowing her ears to fold back halfway.

"You don't need to... I like them anyway." Zach half grinned. "You look nice the way you are." Her lips lifted into a grin.

"Thanks, but they're not going to get any bigger for you." The jaguar stepped forward and loomed over him. Zach sat upright feeling excitement course throb his body. Every nerve was alive and ready.

"I'm not going to give you a pass for last night." She told him, and placed a hand on his leg. "But that just means you'll have to work overtime with me." The feline's endearing smile made him eager. Her brusque feline muzzle connected with his slender canine one. A thrilling shock jumped up the coyote's spine. Zach was taken aback by her sudden move, but quickly eased into her intimate touch. Despite her brash and often callous words, her lips were silken and sweet to taste. Alex's hands rested on his shoulders and tenderly traced through his fur.

"You're supposed to... touch me." She said between smooches. Zach wanted to say something funny in response but hastily reached up and touched her spotted sides and back. The jaguar felt warm and alive. He loved every moment of it.

"You kiss like a stop sign." She giggled when their lips parted.

"Hey..." He felt his cheeks flush red beneath his fur. "Better than a yield sign." They both laughed. The little joke helped ease some of their nervousness.

"Let's trade places." She suggested. Zach rose to his feet and discarded his shirt and pants while she plopped onto the bed. Alex didn't sit up like he had, but instead laid back onto her bed and tucked her legs up. The downy white fur of her groin was spotless and revealed the pink flesh of her womanhood. It was a sight that had the coyote's eyes popping out of their sockets.

"Cat got your tongue?" She stuck her tongue out.

"Yeah." He dumbly spoke and looked at naked feline sex. Kneeling down, his eyes feasted on her womanhood. Alex watched eagerly as his mouth neared. Her toes curled and legs tensed feeling his hot breaths against her sensitive folds.

"Is this your dessert?" The jaguar couldn't help but tease.

"Yes." Without further ado, he unceremoniously tongued her sex, lapping up her meaty folds. Zach had no experience in what he was doing, but the coyote was guided by her coos and physical shudders.

"Ooohhh..." Her sweet moan was the most feminine sound that he had heard from her. "That feels gooood." Her voice groaned in pleasure. Zach could feel her tail twitching and spasm from every lick into her inner depths. Glancing up, he could see the taught peaks of flesh rise and fall atop Alex's chest. rose and fell as the pleasure within her peaked into a blissful climax.

"Oohhhh. Shi-Zach!!" Her claws threatened to tear into the bed cover. One of her legs kicked out, narrowly missing the coyote's back as she cried out with passion. Zach had to hold onto her hips so she wouldn't buck up from him, but he relented when her thighs squeezed his head. The jaguar's downy fur once fluffy and well kept was now a moist mess.

"Excited?" Zach stood up and looked at her panting face with a sense of accomplishment.

"I'm not the one hiding a wrench in my underwear." She retorted. Glancing down, Zach found a distinctive bulge in his underwear. Without a second thought he discarded the confining garment.

"I love your humor." He smiled and climbed onto the bed.

"At least you're not lacking anywhere like I am." Alex bent her knees and lifted her legs. Zach's erection bounced as he shuffled forward, and held up her legs

"I'm probably average." He was focused on what rested just beyond the tip of his masculine spire. "Ready?"

"Yes." She nodded

"Let me know if I do something wrong."

"I will let you know." She firmly growled. Without further instruction the coyote pressed forward. The tip of his tapered canine length parted her folds. The slick warmth he had tasted gripped his erection like a muscular vise. Their hips bumped together with a resounding grunt as his shaft fully penetrated her. Zach took a breath and savored his first moment of sex.

"Comfortable?" Looking up, he noticed sheets tightly balled up in the jaguar's hands.

"I feel it... er, you in there." Alex breathed and softly moaned simultaneously.

"This feels good." He grunted and began humping her. The wet slapping sound echoed through his thoughts with wanton desire. He was already close, but he didn't have to hold back since she already came just moments ago. However brief, this was his moment of pleasure. The moans between them grew in strength. Zach's face contorted as he finally came inside her. Each thrust slowed to accentuate the ecstatic pulses until her was utterly spent.

"Phew." Zach breathed deeply as a tingling warmth of afterglow settled over his body.

"Feeling alright?" Alex said wearing a wide grin across her face.

"Yep, but my hips hurt."

"First time." She simply spoke. "Not bad." Zach couldn't help but feel a little proud about that.

"It's kind of gross though." He admitted at the fluids between them. "Like sweat and shame mixed together."

"That's sex for ya... Why were you so nervous about it a minute ago?"

"I don't know." He shrugged and sat back only for an arm to tug him. "You're already out of breath!" He hoped for a break.

"Hey, I'm a lady." She playfully growled. "You've got your hands full to keep me satisfied." The golden stare in her eyes wasn't joking either. They had a long passionate night ahead of them...

Waking up beside someone felt nice. It was infinitely better than a lonely bed. Zach was laying in Alex's bed, tangled together with the sleeping jaguar. The warmth and softness of her fur felt cozy as well as comforting. Intertwining body heat made loneliness an impossibility. It wasn't only physical though. He could feel a sense of belonging, intimacy, and reciprocal love, and they all held special meaning to him. It was wonderful. The jaguar stirred beside him and shifted.

"Good mor-." He was cut off as an elbow turned quickly and collided with his face. "Ow! Crap. You hit my face." He mumbled and rubbed his muzzle.

"Oops. Sorry." Alex rolled onto her side and looked at him. "You ok?" She touched his chin.

"Yeah, but I'll be sore right here." He touched just behind his whiskers.

"You'll be fine." She leaned over and kissed him.

"Mmm. I think so, but control your strength, please."

"I'm working on it."

"I believe it." He blew a sigh before smiling at her. "Sleep well? I tend to roll around in my sleep."

"Yeah." She grinned. "But you didn't roll around. You were outta gas."

"What time is it?"

"Eight thirty." She made a quick glance at the large digital clock on the wall.

"AM or PM?"

"What do you think, goof?" She giggled. Zach smiled without a word. They had been up late for obvious reasons. Her golden gaze wandered around the room for a brief moment. "Hey..." Her face brightened up, making the coyote worry. "I just had an idea."

"What is it?"

"We could have our own business, it would be 'nude mechanics' and people would have to pay more to watch us work." Her idea made his head spin.

"Nude mechanics?" Zach shook his head at the sound of it.

"It's not a bad idea. Think about it."

"Let's stop thinking about it."

"So uptight." She teasingly stuck her tongue out at him.

"I don't think I could do anything naked in front of a crowd."

"All you have to do is take your clothes off." She insisted.

"Umm... No thanks."

"You'd change your mind when people would pay us."

"I'd pay to watch you... but no one is going to watch me."

"Just think it over."

"You're crazy." He grinned as she rolled out of bed.

"Pf. It's a good idea." She reiterated. He watched her briefly stretch, rub her sides, and stand in the sunlight for a moment. Her golden furred and spotted backside seemed to glow with a pure luster under the sun's rays. Rolling over, Zach could feel the warm spot where she had laid the entire night. The coyote hummed to himself and enjoyed the lingering warmth and her scent in the air.

"Hey, Alex."

"Yeah?"

"You didn't do this out of pity for me, right?" He asked. Within a second the jaguar answered.

"Heck no!" Her voice rose harshly and revealed her fangs. "I don't offer my body to someone like a doped up hooker waiting on easy street." Her snappy remarks made him grin.

"Just checking." He smiled with relief. "Thank you for giving me a second chance." He warmly spoke. A softer, kinder grin emerged on the jaguar's face.

"Don't get all sentimental on me." Alex told him. "Everyone deserves a second chance." She smiled back at him while standing in the doorway. "Now come on. I'm not doing your work for you!" The naked jaguar jumped into the hall with Zach scrambling to find all of his clothes from last night.

"Wait for me!" He called out. "And a client is supposed to be stopping by today! You need to get dressed!" His worries were met with laughter in the kitchen...
