"Alright, you two can hug it out more when you're out of the palace." Olga said. "Right now, we have to go."

Orion didn't let go of me, and instead picked me up and carried me with him.

"Lead the way, then." Orion told her.

Olga led us to her kitchen and handed us food for us to take, and gave Orion his bag that she got for him out of his room before she sprung him out.

"Thank you for everything you've done for us." Orion said.

"No problem." She said, closing up our bags once she'd fit enough food into it. "Now you're all set! Now get outta here and live your lives together!"

Orion put me down and I gave Olga one more quick hug.

"Thanks again, Olga! You're the best."

"Alright, alright." She giggled. "I'm gonna miss you." She rubbed my head. "Now, enough of the pleasantries, you and Orion go and have fun with the rest of your lives together!"

Me and Orion walked out of the palace and kept walking through the town's empty streets, the big wolf holding my hand in his large paw.

"Where do you think we should go?" I asked him.

"How about where I used to live before I took the bodyguard job?" He said. "I think I told you that they don't have any laws against who you can be together with."

"Sounds great!" I said. "As long as I'm with you." I said, hugging his arm.

He tilted his head and kissed the top of mine.

But as we reached the edge of town I looked back to the palace and thought of my parents again. As angry as I still was at them for separating me from the wolf I loved and sending me to some reform school, I felt awful leaving them. I began to cry as I remembered all the happy memories I had with them, all the Christmases and birthdays I spent with them.

"Are you okay, pup?" Orion asked.

"It's just... my parents." I cried. "I hate that I have to leave them, I... I didn't even say goodbye. I should have told Olga to do it for me!" I cried, hugging Orion.

I felt him stop walking and embrace me, nuzzling my head comfortingly.

"Shhh, shhhh, it's going to be okay, pup." He rubbed my back.

"I told them I hated them..." I sobbed. "That was the last thing I said to them... that I _hated _them. I was just so angry, I don't want that to be their last memory of me!"

He picked me up and hugged me close.

"Hey, maybe we can visit them again, maybe this will be a wake-up call for them."

"I hope so."

"But we should keep going, we've got a long journey ahead of us."

Orion didn't put me down, just carried me while he proceeded out of town. He was too good to me. I didn't know exactly what was in store for us, but as long as I was with him, I knew we could do anything.
