Supplemental 6.5 - Interview with Cal

Cal is led to the desk and bade to sit. Alek smiles from across the table.

“I thought it would be a good idea to get a more formal input from you and the others on Ember's development through the day." He says. “I know he hasn't had chance to work with you yet, but perhaps you can give me some personal insight."

“Alright. Well you know I was skeptical about your decisions so far. His capture was very stressful for me, and I was quite nervous about bringing him up from the basement after only one night." Cal splays his hands and leans back in the chair. “But … nothing has gone wrong. I think you've judged him well."

“So you think he's a good fit for us?"

“Oh yes." He nods, “He's not had to do a lot so far, but I see a lot of potential in him. He's hard working, despite the alien scenario he must find himself in."

“It's impressive don't you think? How well he's adapting."

“It's more strange to me, but yes, that too. Do we know anything about his past?" Cal asks, hoping it might add some clarity to Ember's propensity for learning.

“No, nothing. He never gave a surname to his workplace, and because they paid cash, they never needed to care. So we don't really have any way to track his history at the moment.“

“Did they know he was a werewolf?"

“They can't have, otherwise they'd have asked for his ID."

“Ah yes, good point." Cal nods. “He's our little mystery then for now."

“You like him." Alek grins.

“I do, but, I also see some familiarity. And not the same kind that Hess prefers either."

“Have they …?"

“Within the first ten minutes." Cal laughs. “Sucked his cock as soon as they were alone."

“I'd expect nothing less from that boy." Alek says with a smile. “I'm sure you're keen to have some time with him too."

“I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about it."

“And I'd be surprised, he's very handsome. I'm looking forward to getting the opportunity myself." Alek muses dreamily and lets his eyes wander to the heavy door on the far wall. “I just hope he sticks around, it'll be good for all of us if he stays."
