Re-Incarnation Chapter 1: A Normal Day

** A Normal Day**
On the outskirts of a small city, on the top of a hill stood a house. Just your average, Nothing out of the ordinary house, There lived a Mother, Father and two children, Kai and Mai Shibuya.
This is where our story begins.

The sun shone brightly on the horizon signaling the coming of the morning. The ray of sunlight made there way through the windows of the bedrooms of Kai and Mai Shibuya the only twin children born to Yuuki and Haru Shibuya.
One of the two children Stirred in there sleep as the Bright sinshine hit their face, Kai opened his eyes and squinted at the sun
"Why does the sun have to be so bright?" the 5 year old thought to himself.
He quickly got up out of bed and dashed for the bathroom for his usual morning routine, Potty and to brush his teeth before he got dressed. Mai however took after her father and didn't take too kindly to waking up early, She was thankful she asked her dad to draw the curtains closed the night before so the sunlight wouldn't wake her up.
After Kai had done his business and got dressed, he felt it was time for a wake up call to his twin sister. Kai had learned throughout his first few years of childhood that his sister was a heavy sleeper and the only way to wake her up was to scare her awake. He opened the door to her bedroom silently, trying hard not to make too much noise, he didn't want to spoil this moment. He tip-toed silently to his sisters bed, a few steps and he was at Her bed side, ready to scare her awake. He grabbed the covers of her bed and pulled them off her.
"Boo!" he shouted, but to his surprise, She wasn't there. Kai thought it was a little strange for Mai to be awake at this time, He began to ponder where she might be, when all of a sudden.
"BOO!!" Kai was lucky he emptied his bladder prior to this situation, or else he would've wet himself. He screamed and jumped onto his sisters bed covering himself with the covers "Ha Ha, Gotcha this time Brother" Mai said in a singsong tone .
"Jeez Mai, I wish you'ed give some sort of warning" Kai Snapped back .
"Awwe, but that wouldn't be no fun" She teased.
Kai didn't think it was very funny and stormed out of her room and downstairs where their Mommy And Daddy make breakfast.
Kai had sat down at the table and was greeted by their family pet, A Growlithe, she licked at the boys hands and face before being put back on the floor by Mr.Shibuya
"Ember, Down girl" he scolded.
She proceeded to trot into the living room to lay down on the floor. Mai had come down a few minutes later, Mrs.Shibuya had almost finished making breakfast of Pancakes with a fresh glass of Miltank milk. When the children were served they began to eat, Kai had not forgotten about his sister scaring him out of his wits earler, He wore an angry expression on his face as he stared across the table at her, Mai just giggled and resumed eating.
After breakfast the two children gathered their lunches and headed out the door to wait for the school bus, Spring was in full swing in Hearthome City, The Pidgy's & Starly's were chirping and the Ratatta were running through the fields. The School bus had made its way down the small road where it stopped in front of the Shibuya household. Kai and Mai said their goodbyes to their parents before boarding the bus.
The bus ride was the same as always, they had passed the same signs, The same lamp posts, But Kai's favourite part of the Bus trip was just coming up, The Hearthome Pokémon Gym, Someday he would become a Pokémon trainer, challenge the Leader Fantina and win the Relic Badge, But sadly he was only 5, Most youngsters don't start training until about age 7 or 8 so he had a little while to go. Mai on the other hand was hoping to become a Pokémon fashion stylist, She didn't like the idea of Pokémon fighting each other like her brother did, even though they were twins, they were complete opposites.
The bus had come to a halt at Hearthome academy for young trainers, there Mai and Kai learned how to take care of a pokémon and raise it to become healthy, Kai really wanted to go to the Pokémon Battle strategies class but he was far too young, He dismissed his fantasy from his head and focused on the lecture for the duration of the class.
After the lesson it was time for recess, Everyone was in the schoolyard playing and doing the traditional things, Sliding down the slide swinging on the swingset. Mai usually hung arond her friends talking about how cute certian pokemon were, and what they'ed have them wear to make them cuter, while Kai was the one talking with his friends about what Pokemon were stronger and which looked the coolest. The bell rang to signal the end of Recess and the students were called back inside for another lesson followed by lunch time. By the end of the day Kai was really wishing he could be a trainer, Little did he know, his journey into the Pokemon world was closer than he thought.
Kai was talking at length with his sister on the bus ride home about how he'd beat the Hearthome gym leader and be the best pokemon trainer one day, Mai just laughed .
"Kai, Fantina is a very powerful gym leader" Mai said.
She looked up to Fantina because she wasn't just a Pokemon trainer but she was also a Pokemon fashion and contest expert, the very thing she had always dreamed of being, Kai simply smirked.
"Well she won't know what she's up against when she faces me" kai said triumphantly.
When they got home their parents were waiting for them, They asked the usual questions "Did you have a good day?" and "What did you learn?" After the talking was over they went into the house and put away their belongings, they made their way to the living room to watch some T.V.
"This is getting boring, Lets go out pack and play" Kai suggested after about an hour.
"Okay, Sounds like fun" Mai said.
They both went out to the backyard, Their backyard was fairly large, It was wide open and wasn't fenced in, so the kids were able to run around without any boundries. The only place that was off limits was the cliff, it dropped about a couple hundred feet which explained why they wern't allowed near there.
"Tag, You're it" Mai said poking her brother, She proceeded to run in the opposite direction.
"Hey, No Fair!" Kai shouted, He began to chase her around the backyard.
The game went on as they had tagged each other several times, this time Mai was it, while she was it a gust of wind blew her favourite bow from her hair, the wind carried it over the edge of the cliff where it snagged on a rather large branch protruding from the earth.
"Don't worry, I'll get it for you" Kai said running toward the edge of the cliff.
"No Kai, Mommy and Daddy said not to go down there" Mai shouted.
Kai ignored Mai's warning and proceeded to climb down to the branch, After about ten feet he touched down on the branch, he decided to crawl along it slowly, inching his way toward the bow little by little, finally he was within an arms reach of it.
Mai watched as her brother risked his life for her favourite hair piece. He reached out for the bow when he heard and audiable crack and felt the branch give a little under his weight, He began to panic as the branch slowly started to bend downward with each crack. Kai kept reaching and finally was able to grab the Bow with his hand, he slowly began to crawl backwards when the branch suddenly gave away and Kai began to plummet several hundred feet, he landed with a hard thud has his body hit the ground, Kai's vision went black........
