Written by leotodriusTwenty five years after the Ghostbusters pioneered paranormal investigations and eliminations as a business model, franchise departments have spread across the United States. One such franchise operates in Portland Oregon. When evil threatens to destroy the entire world, will our heroes be able to fend them off, or will they fall to their baser instincts?

As part of the Regenesis content contest, "Mud Monsters" won second place and it got its own chapter. I asked several people for input, I only hope that the chapter will be at least a fraction as hot as the reader input. Thank you for the support everyone!

Ghostbusters: Regenesis

Chapter 4 (Into the Mire) Written by Leo_Todrius

The old tires dug into the gravel as the red Chrysler Conquest moved along the back roads. The driver was in his late twenties, wearing black jeans and boots and a neon blue and black coat. He had a baseball cap on backwards, the brim designed to be at an angle so it covered the back of his neck and curved around it almost like a protective cover, looking rather sleek. His hair was buzzed fairly short but he had a bit of scruff along his jaw line, his blue eyes gazing out at the row ahead. Carson was starting to regret his decision at taking the back roads. A truck had over-turned on I-5 and it was going to be backed up for hours, but he had apparently chosen the one back road that hadn't been traveled in years.

The gravel was deep, the plants were overgrown and it looked like there was a wooden bridge crossing a chasm ahead... and there was. Carson gripped his steering wheel, wary to drive over such an old bridge... but he had to get home. As the car started moving over the old bridge, the vehicle lurched and shook. Carson's heart nearly jumped out of his chest as he thought he was falling, but the car didn't fall. The engine, however, did stop. The lights flickered as the engine went dead and the Conquest rolled to a stop. Carson sat, holding the steering wheel tight in shock.

"Oh come on..." Carson muttered. He tried his key, the gas, everything. The car wouldn't turn over. Carson opened the door and looked out. There was plenty of room for him to step out, though he could see through the slats to the mire below. It seemed like a creek had dug out a path for itself, though as it had started to erode the banks on either side it had turned into a thick soupy muddy river that was in no hurry to go anywhere. It even seemed like people had been using it as dumping grounds, in the dim light Carson could make out old rusted metal drums upstream half sunk into the gray clay mud. Carson reminded himself not to look down and he got out, moving around to the engine. He hoisted the hood up and looked inside, moving to bring the stick up to hold the hood aloft. As he bent down, his wallet worked out of his pocket before it fell onto one of the slats. Hearing the noise, Carson turned and his foot nudged the wallet.

"No!" he called after his wallet, watching it land on the mud before sinking very slowly. Carson balled up his hands into fists, "Shit..." He cursed. He wasn't sure how things could get much worse. He gazed down at where his wallet had fallen, trying to decide if it would be safe being left there with all his cards and ID or if he should try to retrieve it. As if fate itself had stepped in, the mud bubbled and his wallet bobbed back to the surface. It was coated in thick grayish brown mud, but it was clearly his wallet. The zipper tag stuck out and everything. It was right there, sitting on the surface... Even if it sunk as he got close, as long as it was there, he'd know the right area to focus his search in.

Carson left his Conquest on the bridge and moved to the far side, moving to the steep slopes of the bank. He carefully trudged his way down, his boots kicking more dirt into the river of mud. Carson made it to the edge of the mud without falling in. He considered himself pretty lucky, though without any sticks or nets or anything, he knew his days of being clean were over. The young man took a breath before he stepped in. His booted foot sunk into the thick mud, the gooey stuff enveloping it in an air tight seal... and then the mud rushed into his boot. Carson winced, expecting the mud to be cold but it strangely wasn't. Carson assumed it just held the heat of the day better.

With one foot in, Carson took another step, sinking in to his ankles. The wallet was still floating on the surface under the bridge. Carson waded in further, the thick mud rising up to his calf, his knee, then his waist. The thick goo couldn't penetrate his jeans at first, but he felt the warmth making it through the fabric slowly before it was against his skin. Then he felt bubbles moving up his legs as the mud rushed up his pant legs, forcing the air out of the way. He froze in place as the warm mud filled his boxers, coating his balls and cock, getting into his bush and moving in the cleft of his ass.

"I can sort of see why people take mud baths now..." He murmured, finding the feeling kind of good. He continued on toward his wallet, stopping as his hip nudged one of the partially submerged barrels. Carson turned, looking at the worn metal. He was terrified that it was going to say biohazard or something, but instead it merely had the New York state flag and 'Shandor Architecture' below it. Carson relaxed; figuring some load of paint had just fallen off as a truck went over the bridge. He continued for his wallet, wading closer foot by foot.

Carson was overjoyed that his wallet hadn't sunk. He reached out for it, but as he did the mud around him started to bubble like it was boiling. Bubbles wafted up and popped on the surface. Carson lunged and grabbed his wallet as the mud splattered all over his chest and neck, even his face. Carson turned, trying to get back to the shore, though the mud seemed to be getting thicker, harder to wade through. He struggled for every step until it was like stepping through cement... Soon Carson was stuck, leaning forward and back, trying to free himself.

His struggle to freedom came to a sudden stop as he felt a pressure build at his ass before the thick clay filled mud began to pump into his ass. Carson's eyes went wide as it pushed up into him, glugging in more and more. Carson's arms dropped to his side, sinking into the mud as a thick tendril of mud began lifting up out of the river like a snake, whipping around before the bulbous end aimed at Carson. Before he could resist, the tendril shot forward and pushed into his mouth. Thick lumps of mud moved up from the river, following the tendril, pumping into Carson's mouth.

Carson was overwhelmed. The mud tasted so earthy, chalky, a bit peaty... He tried to keep his throat shut but his cheeks bulged out and soon the mud was slipping down, filling his stomach... and it felt so thick, so even, so dirty... Soon Carson was giving into it, gulping it down eagerly. His entire lower body tingled as every orifice was filled. After minutes of engorging, the tendril slipped up into Carson's lips and his mouth closed. He didn't seem any larger, though he was thoroughly coated. Without a word or acknowledgement of what just happened, he slowly started wading back to shore and climbed out, making his way back up the bank.

Rafael had sworn his entire life that he'd never hitchhike. It was a dead art form, something people did in the sixties when everyone had been too prim and proper to do anything... But stranded without any car, any home or anyone he knew in the area... he had to resort to it. The man held his thumb up as he wandered along the sparsely filled highway. Brown aviator sunglasses hugged his face, protecting his eyes from the harsh glare of the headlights. Night had fallen and the truck had yet to be cleared up. Northbound traffic was backed up for miles, but southbound was very empty. Only cars coming from side roads had made it on. Rafael reached up to run his fingers through his short black hair, his cinnamon colored skin likely not helping his odds of being picked up; at least he thought so until an old red 80's car pulled over.

Rafael's heart skipped a beat in excitement as he moved to where it had pulled over. Carson leaned over and clicked the door and swung it open. Rafael moved over and peered in to see a casual driver with one leg propped up on the seat, his arm hanging over his knee... The position was a bit strange, but it was absolutely nothing compared to the state of the man and the car. From the man's chest down he was completely saturated with dark gray mud. It covered his pants, his boots, his shirt, his arms. His hands were gray rather than pink. The mud had dried a bit on the back of his hands, turning even more ashy color... but he had completely ruined the inside of the car. There was mud on the door and door handles, the seats, the steering wheel, the keys...

"Need a lift?" Carson asked, a thin smile on his lips as he looked into Rafael's eyes.

"Uh, I'll catch the next one..." Rafael said, turning around to leave. As he stepped away, a tidal wave of mud rushed out of the car, sweeping him off his feet and coating him liberally. Rafael struggled and resisted before the mud started slopping backwards. Rafael swam against the current, mud dripping from his hair and glasses and chin before he was pulled back into the car. The door shut and it began moving down the road again, leaving only a thick patch of mud on the side of the road.

Hot water cascaded across hot skin, steam billowing up around Eli and Nico in the shower. Eli's hands were spread against the wall, his blond hair sopping wet, water dripping from his chin. His hips swung forward and back, his balls swinging, Nico's hand wrapped around his shaft. Nico leaned into Eli's neck, licking and sucking and nipping at the flesh as his cock pounded into his boyfriend's ass. Eli had learned what it was like to have a boyfriend with hypersexuality disorder, not that he was complaining. He had been a relaxed and content young man before, now he was like putty in Nico's very delightful hands. Nico sucked on Eli's neck until blood welled up, marking him. Nico's shaft slid in and out, dripping with water, gliding easily in an ass that had grown accustomed to being invaded several times a day. Nico moved his face down, nuzzling Eli's shoulder blades, licking the flesh, grinding into his ass. Eli bit his lip rather than calling out, knowing that Grayson was just outside getting ready for his trip.

Gray stood at the end of his bed, looking at the bags he'd set aside for his business trip. He had clothes, notes, laptop and toiletries... Though he wasn't sure where the digital voice recorder was, though Eli had been using it earlier. He turned to look for it and caught sight of himself in the mirror. Grayson was in his mid twenties and five foot ten. He had put on a crisp classic black suit with a black tie, contrasting sharply with the white shirt. His hair had just a bit of gel to make the black hair fall into feathered layers and strands without making him look too unprofessional. It was a look he had learned on a visit to see his grandparents in Japan. His skin had a rich light brown tone to it just like his mother and his eyes were as deep brown as coffee. Gray looked around before he headed to the bathroom door and knocked on it.

"Hey Nico, have you seen Eli?" Gray called in through the bathroom door.

"I'm sure he's around somewhere!" Nico said, not even bothering to slow down. Eli drooled a bit as waves of pleasure shot out from his prostate.

"That's okay, I've got a backup." Gray said, turning. He moved up to his bed to take the bags and put them into one another until he was left with one backpack and one suitcase. Nodding to himself, Gray turned and moved down the stairs. He'd barely made it out of the stairwell before Seth swung around and leaned down to give Gray a deep lingering kiss. Gray melted into the kiss, dropping his suitcase. He reached up to wrap his arms around Seth's neck. Seth kissed Gray for some time before sucking on his boyfriend's bottom lip before he gave Gray a smile.

"Have a good trip." Seth said, smiling. Gray chuckled softly.

"You kiss me like that and expect me to still go?" Gray asked.

"Someone's got to represent us at the regional business meeting. We may be in several states but we're still the only ones in our field. Also, the taxi is waiting." Seth smirked.

"You're right as always. I'll miss you." Gray said, standing on his tiptoes to give Seth another kiss before he moved out to the door, easing it open and stepping out of the firehouse. Seth emerged behind him to see him off. Gray put his luggage into the trunk and climbed into the taxi, shutting the door. He gave a wave to Seth as the Taxi pulled out. Seth watched it disappear down the street before he moved back into the firehouse. He'd only made it a few steps when the phone rang. Seth moved over quickly, leaning over the desk and lifting up the phone.

"Ghostbusters." Seth said, pausing, "That coupon doesn't cover proton charging, but the rest of the fee is waived, correct." He said, "Is it just a mist or does it have arms and legs?" he asked, scribbling down the address, "Alright, we're on our way." Seth said, hanging up the phone before he slammed his hand on the firehouse alarm.

Everything for the business meeting was shaping up. The guests had started to arrive; the hotel spa had finished its remodeling just in time, and the RSVP list was well in order. Landen stood in one of the ball rooms of the hotel, making sure all the tables and seats had been set up properly. Landen was six feet tall, dressed in a khaki tan dress shirt and pants with a black tie. His blond hair was just long enough to part down the middle and come down to his ears, where the hair below that line was shaved. He had a long torso and a narrow Germanic chin. While Landen was only twenty years old, he'd been assigned a lot of the foot work for the meeting by his superiors. While it was a lot of responsibility, it also afforded him great power. He'd taken great pride in putting down the name card for Grayson Kale from the local Ghostbusters franchise. It was business innovators like him that would revolutionize the future.

"Landed, you need to come outside... There's been this weird sort of mud slide in the back... It's gotten into the pool and stuff." Came the voice of one of Landen's assistants.

"Land slide? But we're on a hill..." Landen said in confusion.

"I know, but just... come see..." The man said, turning. Landen moved to follow. Braden, his assistant, was dressed similarly except with black pants. His short hair was brown and both were clean shaven. They moved through the long hallway outside the ball room, moving into a sun lit foyer. They had full view of the back lot of the hotel and Landen realized Braden hadn't been stretching the truth at all. A huge torrent of mud had slopped up the hillside, oozed through the black rod iron fence and leaked into the pool. The once pristine water was a murky brown and seemed to be thickening by the moment. Worst of all, a thinner sheen of mud had spread over half of the sidewalks, coating them in an inch of two of mud.

Landen moved out onto the patio, crouching down. He reached a pair of fingers out, sinking them into the mud. It was a strange sensation, but then mud always was. It was silky but gritty, dirty but clean, perfectly even and so inconsistent. It smelled like earth and clay and musk and plant... and it embodied the childhood Landen had left behind so many years ago. He'd worked so hard at school, so hard at life... He could barely remember making mud pies, playing in the mud... but it was still there, a fragment of a memory. Landen stood back up and sighed, turning to Braden.

"We'll just have to tell them the pool is closed for maintenance, maybe draw the blinds and... Braden? Are you listening to me?" Landen asked, but his assistant was standing with a dumbfounded expression. Landed turned around to see a form rising out of the pile of mud. It bubbled and built up on itself, fountains of mud splattering into legs, slopping and flowing together to form a torso. Long dripping whip like arms emerged from the mass before a head started to form, mud oozing down along the neck. As liquidy as the form was, it seemed to have just enough detail and retention to form what appeared to be the bill of a backwards baseball cap along the back of the muddy head.

"Oh my god..." Landen muttered, backing up before he ran for the door. Braden ran as well but the mud gushed around his feet, causing him to slip before the figure lunged and brought a tidal wave with him. Braden called out before the mud covered him. Landen made it into the hotel and slammed the doors shut behind him, the sun suddenly being blotted out as mud splashed across the glass... Landen panted softly, trying to think of what to do, at least until he heard something dripping. He turned, looking at the corner of the door. Mud was trickling through before thick sprays of the sludge began spouting out, collecting on the carpet before it began rolling toward itself, building.

Landen turned and ran along the hallway before the far door ahead of him burst open and Braden stumbled in. His khaki dress shirt was soaked with the watery part of the mud, having stained completely brown. His pants were covered in a thicker layer, getting clumpier and chunkier towards the mounds that covered his shoes, though the wrinkles of the material were still visible. His hair stuck up a little, almost as if the brown mud was hair gel. There was only one streak of flesh that hadn't been covered in mud, a swatch from his forehead, across one eye and to his lips. His nose, his ether eyelid, his cheeks... They were all brown, as if dyed but it really was a surface layer.

"Landen, you don't have to run... This is amazing, it's the best thing I've ever felt. I'm so relaxed..." Braden said, reaching up to unbutton his dress shirt. He dropped his tie to the side and spread his shirt wide, his broad trim chest slicked with brown, his abs glistening like they had been carved out of brown stone.

"This isn't right, that stuff is moving like it is alive, it's done something to you..." Landen murmured. More mud was pouring in behind him and Braden was in front of him. It was far from ideal. Braden meanwhile smiled.

"But it is alive... It's the earth, it's all around us... It's our foundation and our childhood... just like when you used to make mud angels..." Braden whispered.

"You couldn't know about that..." Landen said, his muscles tensing. Braden started to advance. Landen turned, trying to find a way out. He began running, trying to build up speed to jump over the mud slick but as he ran it spread out quickly, gushing into the carpet. Landen's foot came down into the mud and it stiffened around his ankle. He toppled forward, landing on his hands and stomach on the mud soaked carpet. It soaked into his shirt, his pants, his tie. It had splattered all over his face and stained his blond hair brown. Landen slowly pushed himself back up to his feet, standing back up.

One of his sleeves had bunched up to his elbow, his shirt had come untucked and one side hung down over his fly. Only the triangle of his chest exposed from the loose tie was uncaked with mud. Landen panted softly before he turned, looking to Braden. Landen opened his arms, letting Branden get close before he hugged him tight and then pushed him into the mud, rolling with him. The door burst open and more mud rushed in, splashing over them but they rolled out onto the patio. The tidal wave evened out and the two boys emerged. The mud covered Landen's face and hair more thickly, every part of his head the same shade of brown. He rolled up his other sleeve before he unbuttoned his shirt, exposing his broad, smooth brown chest. He threw his tie off to the side and stood up slowly, dripping and coated. He hooked two thumbs in his mud filled pockets, looking around non chalantly.

"We have a lot to get ready for this conference; these people need to relax..." Landen murmured. Braden stood up next to him, though Braden seemed to have a harder time of it. It was as if his limbs were becoming less substantial, softer. More and more mud dripped from his limbs before he oozed into the hotel to do Landen's bidding.

Eli stood in a corner of the room, flipping through the Tobin spirit guide loaded onto the PKE meter, flipping through pages frantically. The flapping of wings around the corner caused him to look up, though he squeezed more into the corner as a medium sized, red skinned, bat winged creature flew past. Proton blasts lanced out, narrowly missing the creature. Nico opened a trap but it dodged the column of light. The ghost scanned the room, its single eye settling on Seth before its tall pointed bat ears twitched. It bore its pointed teeth before swooping, it's long dripping ogre phallus springing up as it advanced. Seth gave up trying to hit it with his proton stream and smashed it upside the head with his proton blaster.

The beast fluttered in a dizzy state before it spotted and grabbed a hold of Nico. Nico tried to wrestle the red ogre off his back or activate the trap it covered, but it was already too late. The ghost speared its shaft through his black jumpsuit, underwear and into his ass and started to hump vigorously. Nico shuddered and drool escaped his lips but he still tried to get the thing off his back. Seth grabbed a hold of the ogre and tried to pry it off, grunting loudly. The beast seemed not to be too entirely concerned with exposing his back to his predators since he had finally mounted someone.

"I found it!" Eli called out, "It's a Popobawa... from the Tanzanian island of Pemba. It's known for shape shifting, sexual assault, an occasional pungent odor... There were outbreaks in the 70's and 90's..." Eli considered, "Twenty years apart, twenty years to now. Maybe it's a cycle." Eli said.

"Anything in there on how to stop the damn thing?" Seth asked, trying to pry it loose.

"No... Not really, Tobin only heard about it and no Ghostbuster has encountered one yet." Eli replied.

"This... is... a close... encounter..." Nico grunted, feeling the ghost cumming into him. It leaned in and whispered into Nico's ear. Eli came around the corner and lifted his slime blower before he opened the nozzle. Thick green slime sprayed down across Nico and the Popobawa. Soon the thrusts made lewd slurping noises. Nico was about to complain that it had made it worse until Seth managed to pry the red bat's wings apart. It scrambled to hold on but Nico had become too slippery. Seth wrestled the beast backwards until his cock slipped out of Nico's ass. As Seth backed into a corner with the writhing red ogre beast in his arms, Nico set down a trap between Seth and the rest of the room.

"Close your eyes." Eli said. Seth closed his eyes and looked away as Nico opened the trap. The red ghost tried to squirm free, managing to turn around towards Seth but before he could latch on he was pulled in, spiraling into the trap before the yellow and black doors snapped shut. After a moment the trap beeped, indicating that the ghost was secure. The three panted softly, looking at the trap.

"And I thought you were bad Nico." Eli smirked gently. Nico blushed. Seth didn't quite get it but he was too tired to care.

"Of course today's the day Gray had to go on vacation... Let's go dump this guy ..." Seth muttered, grabbing the trap before moving for the stairs. Eli put his hand around Nico's shoulders, walking him back up the stairs.

The sound of pulsing, throbbing, flowing mud was quite prominent in the back of the hotel. The pool had been turned into a seething lake of mud. In the shallow end, Landed stood with his arms at his side, basking in his ascension. Mud bubbled and crept up his legs, the earthy loamy scent wafting in the air. The thick mud built onto the slick layer beneath, caking and clumping on. It formed over his legs, his chest, dribbled down his arms and up his neck. While he had been thin and lanky before, the mud coating certainly gave him more girth and width. The mud sipped up around his neck and then across his head, contouring against his features as best it could, though his features became far less pronounced and simplistic as the mud coated him. The mud continued to shift and moved, but it stayed on him fairly well.

Across the pool, Braden was having a very different experience. He had started to soften inside, but the process had advanced quickly. His skin had gotten mud logged and softer, staining brown, becoming more insubstantial. His organs had simplified, his bones had softened, his muscle had become like clay. Even his brain felt soft, the memories of his life slipping away as it became simpler and simpler, softening until, in a brilliant instant, his body had become nothing more than mud itself. Mud dripped from his long gooey fingers and a vague mouth and eye depressions formed on the head of the mud beast, though he was barely sentient. Still, there was a certain zeal about being made of mud.

Braden relaxed his body and liquefied, plunging into the pool. It was an indescribable experience... He was one with the entire pool, but his consciousness was a current, a flow. He passed from one particle to the next like a ghost, traveling through the mud faster than the mud could even move. Invisible to the naked eye, a half dozen staff members from the hotel were submerged in the pool, coated in mud. Some were being held until they were needed while others, like Braden, became less and less substantial until they became part of the mud around them. He passed Rafael in the center of the pool, mud pouring out of his body to keep the pool full... and there was an even greater presence all around him, the presence of Carson.

"We must continue our spread... We have come up with a plan." The echoes echoed inside of Braden's head. He moved, heading back toward the surface. The pool mud rippled as a head formed out of it. One of the hotel staff members was standing at the side of the pool; completely calm and vacant... clean on virtually every part of his body. Only his lips were caked with mud, and that had been enough to bring him over to their side... and then the plan seeped into Braden's mind. He knew what he had to do. He had to help this man spread their kind, to let the earth retake the... earth.

Braden formed into a tall column of mud that defied gravity, creeping forward. The concierge opened his lips longingly before the mud tentacle reached his lips and began pouring in. Braden flowed in gulp after gulp, filling the man up to the brim before the concierge closed his lips and licked them clean. He turned slowly, moving back toward the building. He had much work to do.

The job of a Ghostbuster was rarely an easy one, but even more rarely did they have to physically wrestle the ghosts. Chasing and wrestling the Popobawa after dealing with its human form had worn Seth out. He climbed out of the Ecto and leaned against the side of the vehicle before he turned to Eli and Nico.

"Could one of you get the traps? I need to go lay down." Seth muttered.

"Sure thing." Eli smiled. Nico moved to get the traps even as they spoke.

"Get me if there's an emergency." Seth said, trudging toward the stairs. Nico and Eli watched him go before Nico moved over to Eli, leaning in to lick and nibble his ear lobe. Eli blushed furiously.

"Nico..." he chastised.

"Let's go dump these traps." Nico said, smiling as he started walked toward the stairs. Eli raised an eyebrow.

"Don't you want to change your clothes while I do that?" Eli asked, following after. The two descended the metal stairs into the basement where yellow light spilled up through the metal grated floor. The far wall was dominated by the massive red trapezoidal containment unit. Nico moved over and opened the hatch to deposit the trap core before he shut it, threw the lever and the trap was cleaned. He opened the hatch back up and pulled the slot out, returned the core to the trap and set it aside before moving over to Eli.

"I want you to fuck me hard... Right here, right now... Fill my ass." Nico whispered. Eli's eyes widened in shock.

"Nico, you haven't even had a chance to clean up after what happened..." Eli replied.

"I know... I'm so dirty..." Nico said, turning to rub his ass cheeks against Eli's groin. Eli flushed hotly, panting. His naturally, or rather supernaturally thick saliva clung to his lips as he was turned on so much. Unable to resist his hypersexual partner, Eli reached to unzip his jumpsuit, his bare chest exposed before he revealed his manhood. Much like Nico, he had elected to go without underwear since they became a couple.

Eli whipped his shaft out, giving it a few good strokes. It didn't take much to make sure he was at full hardness. Eli was about to ask if Nico wanted to take his jumpsuit off before Nico backed up. His cheeks enveloped Eli's cock, his pucker stretched and quivered as Eli's cock was taken in. With one last thrust of Nico's hips, he slammed back into Eli. Eli's cock plunged deep enough into Nico's ass to slide into the thick ectoplasmic sperm of the Popobawa. Eli shuddered softly as his cock was suddenly covered in the thick, slick, oddly hot and tingling cum. Nico shuddered in delight, remembering what the Popobawa had whispered to him.

"Fuck me so hard Eli..." Nico begged. He clenched down, his muscles squeezing and massaging Eli's cock. Eli was panting harder than ever as he pulled back and thrust in, picking up his pace and force, his hands latching onto Nico's hips. Nico had almost always been the dominant when it came to anal play, this was quite the change... But what Eli was surprised by was how good it felt, better than he imagined possible. His cock felt like a rod of power, the ass felt like his destiny. He slammed into the ass with all his might, grinding and tilting, shifting his hips. He did anything he could to increase the pleasure, hitting Nico's prostate over and over, stimulating him in all the right ways.

Eli grunted and bore his teeth before he leaned in, licking and then biting Nico's neck. He bit the flesh hard, nearly breaking the skin. Nico reached up to tangle his fingers in the blonde's luxurious hair, screaming out in lust as he was fucked so hard. Eli slammed into Nico with so much force that Nico was nearly knocked down. His huge cock speared through the tear in Nico's jumpsuit that the Popobawa had made, but more than that, the ghost's seed continued to soak into Eli's huge shaft. Eli's body was so receptive to it, especially after he'd become both a slime ghost and a fertile plant spirit...

Drool leaked from Nico's lips as his eyes gazed on in a drunken haze. The Popobawa had tried to scare Nico by saying that any that dared fuck him would carry on the Popobawa's work even if only in spirit... Nico licked his lips, knowing that his plan had succeeded. The seed was working so well on Eli, making him just as hypersexual as Nico truly was. Nico whimpered in delight, trying to imagine how much fun Eli would be with satyriasis. Eli wasn't even thinking of that, he was only focused on sexual released. He slammed into Nico so much that Nico fell forward, bracing his hands on the containment unit.

Eli moved, nuzzling Nico's shoulder blades, tracing kisses up the back of his neck before moving to lick and mark the left side of his neck. Eli slammed in deep, hilting Nico, his balls swinging. He ground, he thrust and suddenly he entered his boyfriend as deeply as he could before he lifted his head and let out a scream of triumph. Nico clenched down and let his muscles quiver around Eli's shaft as Eli came with the strongest orgasm of his life. The pleasure ripped through the blonde's brain like a drug, saturating it with lust and love to degrees never before accomplished.

The hot cum flowed deep into Nico, mixing with the last drops of the Popobawa's, filling Nico deeply. Nico moaned hard, nearly collapsing before Eli slumped against his back, panting and heaving for breath. The two barely managed to stay standing, wrapped around each other, Eli's huge cock speared deep into Nico. Their heartbeats had fallen into unison, their breathing working in perfect tandem.

"Ready for another round?" Nico whispered, finally breaking the silence.

"Hell yes..." Eli muttered, feeling hornier now than he ever had before. Soon Eli was thrusting again, churning his seed in Nico's ass like butter and Nico had a deep grin across his face.

Gray had arrived at the hotel with plenty of time to spare. He'd moved into the foyer, though there hadn't been anyone at the front desk. Thinking that a bit odd, he HAD already paid for his room so Gray moved around the desk and retrieved his key before heading to the elevator. He was used to carrying his own bags and stepped in, feeling gravity tug at him as he accelerated upwards. After a few moments the doors opened to the third floor. Gray moved down the hall, once again shocked by how quiet it was. No TV's, no bell boys or maids. Gray finally made it to his room and moved in through the door, carrying his bags in far enough to set by the bed before he turned, looking around.

The room was fairly nice. The walls were a warm off-white and covered with paintings of Mount Hood, the Devil's Punchbowl, Crater Lake and other regional scenery. The curtains were drawn but sunlight cascaded through them. Gray took a step toward the window before he paused, hearing something beeping in his case. He turned and opened up his suitcase, revealing the high degree of order and organization he often employed. The entire suitcase had been lined with divider walls specifically set to the size of Grayson's items, though tucked into one corner was his PKE meter. Gray had always over packed, though this time he regretted not packing any more. The PKE meter had been tucked perfectly into one tight corner while the central core of a trap had been tucked into another. It was the bare minimum of a Ghostbuster's arsenal, but Gray had never wanted to be without that much.

Gray pulled out the meter and turned it on fully. The arms lifted out of the device, wavering. There was a generalized field out of the back of the hotel, but at its heart there was a single point of incredibly high psycho-kinetic energy. Gray advanced very slowly to the window curtain before using a single pinky to part it slowly. What he saw beyond was truly mind boggling... a sea of mud, mud monsters rising out of it and other individuals being covered in mud. Gray let the curtains slide back into place, trying to get a better scan through the glass to the ground level.

The readings were fairly similar to certain class five slime monsters they'd faced in the past, though thankfully the PK energy was only a threat at its very core. Gray had to believe that core was its weak point, the point they had to get to... not that there was a 'they' there yet. Gray sat down and pulled out a piece of paper, starting formulating a plan. Ghost profiles, statistics, even the layout spilled through Gray's mind. He'd spent his entire life being organized, responsible, tidy. It had been lonely at times being the OCD kid, but he'd lived with it and then found a way to thrive.

Gray blushed softly as his thoughts strayed a bit. The one time he had felt truly free had been when he had been turned into a dog by an ancient Norse demon... a dog that had belonged to Seth. While he had been restored, Seth and he had become boyfriends shortly afterwards. It was the first time Gray had ever had a significant other... Gray shook his head, focusing back on the task at hand. The mud was a huge hindrance. It seemed to corrupt at the slightest ingestion, possibly even at touch. There was a lot of it and it was free flowing.

The first idea to occur to him was to use a chemical hardening agent, some polymer emulsion to harden the mud... But Gray didn't know what that would do to the people inside. He opened up the text alert app on the PKE meter and began typing out his situation, discussing the mud and the idea for the emulsion before apologizing to Seth that he couldn't wait... he had to do everything he could to try and save the people. Gray set the PKE meter to send the message, and once it had, he tucked it into his belt loop before he grabbed the trap core and moved to the door of his hotel room.

Peering out of the peep hole, he made sure no mud monsters were outside before he peeked out slowly. He checked one way and then the other before advancing down the hallway. He was still short of a plan; he had to work things out. Gray thought back to when he had gotten his key. The guest list had been on the table, listing all the rooms of those individuals that were coming to the conference. Gray focused hard, seeing the page in his mind... and seeing the guest itinerary he had read online for the event. He closed his eyes, focusing on his memories before he came to a viable solution.

Gray turned around and moved to the end of the hallway, heading up the stairs to the fourth floor. Once there, he checked his PKE meter before advancing any further. He counted the rooms off until he got to 406, the room that had been assigned to Clarence Oakendell. Grayson had been a bit concerned that his credible business would be appearing alongside end-of-days apocalyptic salesman, but now he was glad he had... assuming Mister Oakendell had arrived on time. Gray tried the door. When it didn't budge he took a page from Seth's book and lifted his foot before kicking it.

The door shuddered open, revealing a room filled with cases and cases of merchandise; camouflage tents, thermal wraps, ammunitionless firearms, survival dvd's... and precisely what Gray had hoped, hazmat mop suits. Gray moved over and looked through the various suits, trying to find the one with the fewest numbers of seams or valves. Many were made fairly cheaply, but after careful comparison Gray pulled out an orange ocher colored radiation suit. It was a two piece suit, bodysuit and helmet piece. The breathing tank was internalized which was great for Gray. Looking around, Grayson was even fortunate enough to find tools. He scooped up the suit and laid it out on the bed with his own gear.

The PKE meter was opened, the interior components adjusted and manipulated before the gyroscope was reset for vertical default instead of being handheld. Gray set the PKE meter to a constant forward scan view before he carefully taped it to the visor of the head piece. He turned his attention then to the suit itself, opening the internal panel for the air control. He set the air pressure inside for the highest he knew a human could tolerate without developing embolisms. Once that was secure, he kicked off his shoes and pulled the orange suit up over his legs and torso before sliding his hands in. The gloves were a bit loose around his fingers but it would have to do. He tightened the neck before he pulled the helmet on, tugging it into place. The helmet hissed as the breathing apparatus was activated.

Gray breathed carefully, trying to adjust to the increase in pressure, though it was giving him a headache. With one last double check of his suit, he grabbed the trap core in his hand and slid it into the hazmat suit's pocket. It was a long shot, but he had to try and save those people. Gray closed his eyes, recalling geometry class, figuring out the angle he would need. The Ghostbuster moved toward the door of the hotel room, grabbing a plastic case lid before he stepped out into the hall before finally turning back toward the hotel room. He broke into a sprint, picking up more and more speed before he sprung at the last possible moment, using the plastic lid as a shield.

The large window exploded outwards, shards of glass flying out across the back lot of the hotel. Gray hurtled through the air, dropping quickly towards the pool of mud below him. He moved the plastic lid beneath him to protect him from the glass shards before he dropped down into the thick soup. His visor was instantly coated, but the PKE meter taped to his visor showed the contents of the pool. There were faint dark blue readings for the trapped humans, pale green energy spiraling around in the pool... and the bright pink source of everything.

Gray started swimming through the mud, trying to get to the pink source. The green energy started moving closer to him, swarming around him. The mud grew softer, harder, thicker, thinner. Currents pulled one way or then the other. He could feel the mud probing the rubber like a thousand tiny fingers, trying to find a way in. It pushed against his posterior, his ankles, his wrists. The mud started working under the hood, trying to push at the seal but it wasn't making it in. Gray kept swimming, his fingers raking through the mud, drawing himself ever closer... at least until he felt something wrap around his waist and then he was pulled upwards towards the pink glowing core on the screen. The mud bubbled as it parted and Gray was hoisted up into the air. The mud ran off of his visor, falling in clumps back to the pool below. As Gray started to get some vision around his visor he saw the mud rising up, forming into a body. The pink light was right in front of him.

"You... are a very inventive person." A voice murmured, though it didn't seem to have any particular origin point, it was coming from all around Gray. Gray said nothing, silent for the moment. He was held aloft, there wasn't much he could do. The voice chuckled, "Such an ordered, clean mind... Too clean I think." The vice mused.

"What is the fun in getting dirty if you're not clean to start with?" Gray asked.

"There is a deep satisfaction... in becoming as dirty as possible and saturating in it, but that isn't really what we're talking about. This... is mud; this is so clean and so dirty at the same time. It is the foundation of life... It results from death but it's given a new form as the basis of new life... It's so liberating, it feels so good... Why don't you give in like the others?" the voice asked.

"Did the others give in, or did you force yourself on them? Did you manipulate and corrupt them?" Gray asked.

"Few can resist my... charms." The mud murmured.

"But I am... And you can't get past the barriers of my suit... and its just eating you up, isn't it? That someone isn't joining willingly?" Gray countered.

"Any that know the taste of me will join willingly." The mud growled.

"Then... restore these people, surely they'll come back to you if that's true." Gray said.

"Surely they would, but there isn't anything in it for me to change them back... You must give me something." The mud said, trying to be clever.

"What? Myself?" Gray asked.

"Yes... willingly." The mud replied.

"Change them back... and I'll open the suit... and you'll take me into your body..." Gray said. The mud hesitated.

"Willingly?" it asked. Gray gave an over exaggerated nod so it was visible through the suit. The mud was still for a long moment before a thick splattering came from around the pool. Mud poured and dripped off of people, sloshing to the ground. Those that had become mud hardened and one mud monster unleashed a stream of mud that formed into Braden, naked and cold. More individuals were bobbing to the surface a few minutes later, the mud pulling off of them until they looked positively spotless. Gray looked around, able to confirm there were no more people in the pool. He took a long breath and reached up, carefully unhinging his mask. The excess air pressure bled out in a harsh hiss before he pulled the helmet off and tossed it aside. The helmet landed on the mud lake, floating on the surface, the PKE meter chirping away.

"Mine... All mine." The mud monster murmured, drawing Gray in. Gray turned his head away, taking a deep breath. He felt the mud starting to press against his chest, pressing in tight before it started spilling down is collar. The mud dribbled across his dark black hair and coursed down his neck. Gray tried to pull back merely to see if the mud monster would let him, though the tendrils across his back were thick. He leaned forward and made progress. Apparently the mud monster didn't mind him advancing.

Gray started leaning into the monster, feeling the mud push against his lips and slip up his nostrils, trying to get into his body. He could already feel the feelings of contentment slipping into his brain, making him feel at one with the Earth but he steeled himself, using his impeccable memory to focus on Seth. He had to get back to Seth... He loved Seth. Gray's hands moved up in his jacket and opened the pocket, pulling out the trap core. Without the outer casing it was barely larger than the doors themselves, but the components were there... Gray fumbled with the outer edge, trying to find where the activation node was. His gloves were loose and covered in mud, but at last he found it.

"No you don't!" The mud creature muttered, starting to harden and tighten. Gray screamed out as his ribs suddenly felt massive pressure closing around him but he roared, using all his strength to push the hollow square button in. The doors snapped open and mud rushed in, but before it could damage the equipment, the white light spilled out and the ion field formed. The mud in the pool started rushing upwards, trying to protect itself, the pillar rising up and up and up before it began to harden and crack, the pillar drying out like hardened clay. The drying mud cracked and splintered, white light spilling out of it all before the light died away.

There was a long moment of silence before there was a soft groaning coming from the mud. All over it started drying out, hardening, cracking and flaking. The pool hardened, the patio hardened. The survivors on the cement quickly moved to the edge of the pool to dig out those that had bobbed to the surface before it hardened, digging into the flakey clay with their fingers. They broke the pieces out and pulled them out one by one, trying to save them before they suffocated. In the background a siren could be heard, faintly at first but growing loudly before suddenly one of the fences flew off of its mounts as a white Ford Explorer with flashing lights barreled into the back lot. Seth had barely parked before he sprung out of the driver's seat, looking around frantically.

"Where is he?" Seth called out, looking to the survivors, "WHERE IS HE?!" Seth roared.

"I... I think he's up there..." Landen murmured, pointing to the pillar. Eli and Nico had climbed out, pulling on their gear. Seth tried to move out onto the mud but it started to crunch beneath his feet.

"Seth, just calm down, let's do what Gray would..." Eli said, trying to keep his friend from aggravating the situation.

"Alright... Logic..." Seth said, taking a deep breath, "Eli, get some slime tethers up. One on the far side, two on the far side, a strong one to your slime thrower and then we'll pull it down slowly." Seth commanded. Eli did as he was told, tethering the clay pillar to the stone statues at the corner of the property before coming back around front. He unleashed a thick tether to hit the killer, keeping the other end attached to his blower. He started moving backward, pulling the tether taught. Seth and Nico moved in, laying hands on the blower as well, pulling it back, feeling the tension increase dramatically.

A deep resounding crack came from the pillar, then another. The pillar suddenly shuddered, cracking through the base. It slipped to fall towards the Ghostbusters but instead the two tethers stretched slowly, lowering it down to the ground, only the base sticking out over the pool. Seth took the blower from Eli and changed the settings, letting the thick tether pop free before a thick gush of slime blew out. Seth started moving it back and forth, soaking the clay and washing it away. He swept it back and forth, eroding the clay until an orange arm emerged, then a shoulder and finally a head. Seth dropped the blower and rushed forward, as did Nico.

The two pulled more of the clay away from Grayson's body before lifting him out of it, a perfect clay cast of his lower two thirds of his body left in the dried out clay. Seth laid Gray out on the cementation checking for breathing before he leaned in and forced a breath into Gray's mouth before he put his hands on gray's chest and pushed. Seth continued his CPR for a long moment, then another... Eli trembled, starting to grow concerned while Nico closed his eyes and prayed with all his might. As if coming back from the dead, Gray suddenly coughed and choked, spitting out thick mud. The mud splattered onto the ground before bubbling and dissolving, disappearing completely. Gray blinked, a little woozy before his hand uncurled, the trap held in his hand. Nico say the trap and knew it was volatile without the casing. He reached to his hip and popped one of the trap cores out before sliding the case onto Gray's.

"I knew you'd come..." Gray murmured, looking into Seth's eyes.

"How did you know I'd get here in time?" Seth murmured.

"I didn't, but you like to drive fast, especially when the Ecto's lights change traffic signals... and I thought you might have some extra inventive." Gray chuckled weakly.

"You idiot..." Seth muttered, "Well that settles that, no more trips for you alone ever again." Seth said before he lifted Gray up into his arms. Gray was too weak to protest. He laid his head on Seth's shoulder, closing his eyes.

"What... what happened here?" Carson asked softly, looking around at the other people that had been freed from the mud. Eli moved over, pulling out a card, offering it to the man.

"This is the number for a recovery councilor. She'll help explain what happened and help you all through this. For now, any of you with rooms at the hotel should go inside, get dressed and rest... And we'll make sure doctors come to check you out." Eli said to the group. Nico moved to help some of the survivors move into the hotel before Eli moved to do the same. Gradually everyone filtered out of the back lot and into the hotel. Gray knew he should have been helping out but he was too content with his head pressed to Seth's chest. He closed his eyes and sighed happily, staying right where he was.
