I got out of the car holding a manila envelope containing every little bit of information I could find on vampires and tossed it to Nex. He opened it and flipped through it with his usual gaze while Rachel read over his shoulder with a slight smirk. I yawned and said "Vampires tonight. However since twenty people sneaking around after Curfew isn't going to work, we're going to have to split up into teams. I'll be out every night, so I'm asking for volunteers for the next six nights." Everyone started discussing amongst themselves while I went back and collected the other books and what not that I'd gotten from Uncle Roderick then handed them out letting everyone pick which day they'd be going on.

After a few minutes Alex, Selene, Kyle, and Rachel said "We're going out tonight. Everyone else wants to go out the other nights, though Selene also wants to go out tomorrow." I looked at her questioningly and she shrugged then said "I want to see the shape shifters for myself." I nodded in understanding then stretched and said "Who's joining me tomorrow, besides Selene?" Imu and Sky walked over along with Z who smirked and said "I like shifters, they're kick ass." I nodded then said "Who's going out on the third night?" CJ, David, and Sam walked up.

CJ shrugged and explained "Out of all the options, Ghosts seemed to be the easiest to deal with. Tentacle beasts are just somewhere I don't want to go, Vampires were taken, and Zombies are more something the two gun nuts would want." Sam and David thought about it then Sam stated "No what, we change our selection to day five, Zombie apocalypse, means I can shoot whoever I want and not get in trouble for it."

I stared at him and he sighed then said "Ok, so I get to shoot any zombies I want to without worrying about getting in trouble." I nodded and said "So besides CJ who's going with me on our third night out?" Lia and Nina grinned and said "We'll do it; we want to see if there are any anthro ghosts." I smiled slightly and said "So days one, two, three, and five are done. Days four and six are still open, so who's going out on those days?" Baxley, Roran, and Rya stretched and said "We'll come out on day four." I grinned and said "That means Nex, Matt, Syria, and Lexa are going to be out with me on the sixth night."

Everyone nodded in acceptance of the arrangement and we started talking about what equipment we'd need. Eventually Rachel got up and said "Well I'm going to go get crosses, a few vials of holy water, and stakes. Is anyone else coming with me?" Selene smiled and said "I'll go Rachel, since Jake's been so wrapped up in planning he hasn't really had any time for me today." I smiled at her in apology and whispered in her ear as she walked past me "When we get some alone time before curfew, you and I are going to get reacquainted love." She nodded at me with a smile then followed Rachel to her car talking about the supplies they'd need.

I started talking with Z about tomorrow's plans, as everyone else went into their own group and started forming their own minor plans. After a bit we all called a break and headed our separate ways to grab lunch deciding we'd meet up again when it was all said and done, then split up one last time, before the group going out would meet up and prepare for the fight with the vamps. I got in my car and drove to the local pizza place then ordered a medium pizza and a coke. I ate slowly browsing through one of the books my uncle had lent me, which was all about how to understand ghosts and what they wanted when they touched you and showed you their stories. I finished it about the same time I finished my pizza, and last refill of coke then paid the bill and headed out to my car to meet the others.

I drove back to the meeting spot where Z and CJ were sitting and arguing about who would have a harder time when I pulled up. I sighed and got out of my car then sat down on the bench they were sitting at next to CJ and said "Drop it." They looked at each other, and then glanced at me questioningly. I sighed and said "Doesn't matter who will have a harder night, both of you are going to be in the middle of hell while we're out." Z nodded and said "Guess you have a point there. I didn't really think of it that way."

I snorted and let it drop with that then laid my head on my arms and closed my eyes as everyone else started arriving. I listened to everyone start discussing the plans they'd made as I sat there then yawned waiting for Rachel and Selene to get back, while Alex and Kyle went over the plan I'd given them looking for any major flaws in it. I yawned and tuned in and out of their conversation then yawned and said "I can't see any flaws, so you think you can drop the plan till the girl's get back and give us their opinions?" They nodded and changed the subject to how things had been while we were all in school and I yawned then drifted into a light doze until I heard the sound of Rachel's engine driving up. I smiled to myself and got up then walked over and tapped on Rachel's driver side window.

She rolled it down with a smirk and said "Hey there big boy." I smirked at the fox hybrid and asked quite simply "Hey lass, what are two beautiful young women like you doing in a place like this? Don't you know it's full of monsters and villains?" She laughed and said "Oh we can take care of ourselves, plus I think my friend's boyfriend would kill anyone who laid a hand on either of us." I raised an eyebrow and said "Oh, what makes you say that?" Rachel smirked and said "He's very touchy about people bothering his girlfriend. She's in my passenger seat if you'd like to talk to her." I smirked and replied "Maybe I will," before turning and tapping on Selene's window.

Selene rolled it down and smirked at me then said "What's up?" I grinned back at her and asked "Hey beautiful, how about you dump whatever loser you're dating and go out with a real man?" She laughed at that and replied "I wouldn't dare dump him for some low life like you." I grinned at that and said "He's a lucky guy to have someone as beautiful and loyal as you. If you ever change your mind, there's always a spot open in my front seat for you." She grinned at me then I turned and walked back to the others who were chuckling at our little discussion. I smirked at them before asking Kyle to relay the plan to the girls and telling everyone I'd be back as soon as I finished an errand.

I put the car in reverse then backed up before switching it back into third gear and driving off toward the house to check on Vena, Shade, and Blazer. I figured it may just be the last time I got to see them, as who I was at the least. As I pulled up to the house Shade, and Vena ran out to greet me. Shade's tail was wagging like mad and Vena's ears were twitching slightly in happiness. I got out and hugged them both then played with Shade while Vena watched us with an imperious look of "I own you, play for my amusement." I had to chuckle at her look. Shade took that opportunity to pin me and bite my throat in a show of dominance. I chuckled feeling her tongue licking my neck within the bite and said "You win Shade, I won't fight anymore."

As Shade let go of me Vena pounced on me and nuzzled my cheek murring softly. Shade snorted and lay down on my chest watching Vena with narrowed eyes causing me to laugh softly and rub both their ears affectionately. Suddenly Rachael drove up and dropped off Selene then yelled "REMEMBER LOVER BOY, WE HAVE TO MEET AT THE USUAL SPOT AT SIX!" I waved at her to let her know I got what she said then motioned for the girls to get up. They did so slowly seeming to be grumbling because they'd both gotten comfy, and Selene tackled me and buried her face into my shoulder laughing. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her and whispered in her ear "Did you miss me?" She nodded and kissed my cheek then pulled me to my feet and said "So, we going to have the fun you promised me?"

I swept her off her feet then walked into the house and upstairs to my room whispering in her ear the entire way. I whispered in Latin, Spanish, and French calling her my love in all three languages and telling her about the boundless ways I loved her. She smiled at me and leaned up to kiss me wrapping an arm around my neck. Then she leaned her head against my chest and relaxed, just listening to my words and smiling at them. Eventually we reached my room and I laid her on my bed then locked my door before bending down and kissing her deeply.

She kissed me back then leaned up and slid my shirt off before running her fingers down my chest causing me to shiver slightly. She smirked at me and said "Someone's more sensitive than they used to be." I shook my head and said "Not really, just responding more because this may be our last time together." She snorted and said "You just about ruined the mood right there." I bent down and kissed her deeply running my fingers through her hair and down her back then reached down and slid off her shirt admiring her body I just a simple black bra with a bit of lace going around either cup. I gently undid the clasp and slid her bra off as I pushed her onto her back. She wrapped her arms around me and kissed me deeply before reaching down and undoing my pants.
