Chapter 1 - Exposed

Somehow, just somehow for all these years Teri managed to pass himself off as a girl. It was pretty easy for a paper child to manipulate their identity. Just a couple of well done folds, redraw some bits and you could be anything, gender bending was way more than possible.

Still it wasn't like he was as good of a shape shifter as Clayton. A little bit of tape to hold the folds in place was needed in public. If the tape stuck out a little like it did today it could be obvious. Even worse it could be pulled at and entirely off so that his cock would spring out like a pop-up book, which also happened today. Damn that Penny.

Teri wasn't sure how many knew his secret now, he had slipped on a dress pretty quickly after being exposed and fled the locker room so he didn't get a chance to notice how many people noticed what happened with him. At least two people for sure knew, Penny and Carrie. Possibly a couple other girls too. Depending on how gossipy they were tomorrow could be hell.

The next day came and it seemed news spread pretty fast as it often does in schools. Most didn't say it outright but Teri could tell they knew. In fact all the way up to lunch the only one who said something was Banana Joe. It was some sort of lame joke, followed by immediate karma of him falling down the stairs when he was walking away laughing.

When it was time for lunch, Teri decided to sit at a table by himself not feeling ready to face his friends yet. He played with his food for a while until he heard a voice. "Hey, you look pretty lonely over here by yourself." It was Carrie, looking at him with an awkward smile.

"Well yesterday was really embarrassing." Carrie blushed at Teri's comment. "Right, that. I wanted to apologize, for pointing out the tape and everything. I don't know if Penny noticed only because I said something about it or not, but I still feel partly responsible." "So, it doesn't weird you out or anything?" With that Carrie patted her worried friend on the shoulder, or as well as you can with being partially intangible. "That's far from the weirdest thing in this town Teri. Plus I sorta know a lot about not being in the social norm so to me what gender you actually are doesn't change who you are. You're still my friend."

Suddenly the paper-child bear hugged his ghost friend. He stayed like that for a little bit before remembering they were still in school. "T-thanks." Teri pulled from the hug and went back to playing with his food, this time with little grin on his face.

At the end of school Teri found a note left in his locker. It had 'Tree House Girls Meeting After School' written on it. This was expected but just not so soon. He didn't really want to face them yet but things wouldn't probably get any better if he skipped a meeting.

So he walked from school to Molly's house, a stump where the tree house used to be. It was chopped down in a strange line of events the likes of which was way too common around this town. After that the seven friends that made up the Tree House Girls decided to take the remains of the wooden shack and tree branches to Molly's back yard and rebuild the 'tree house' on the ground. It didn't have a good vantage for watching boys anymore but it was a place to gather if there was important business to talk about.

Teri was greeted with several awkward hellos upon entering the club house. "Oh good, looks like we're all here. We can start the meeting now." Masami spoke up, being pretty much the leader of the 'club'. "Since the incident yesterday pretty much everyone knows about your little secret Teri..."

Here it comes he thought. Judgement, ridicule, shunning, social free fall into rock bottom-

"...and after discussions between classes and during lunch we have collectively decided that if you wish you can stay in the group." There was a moment of silence as he realized from what she said and the understanding, yet awkward, looks on his friend's faces that the best case scenario was playing out. "Well Leslie is in the club and he's a guy." Molly pointed out. "Leslie's a guy?!" Penny sarcastically teased her cousin in fake shock. Everyone except the flower had a laugh at that. "I'm sorry about the whole pulling the tape thing Teri. Sometimes I forget where the line is between being mischievous and just being a full out troublemaker. Gummy's had a slight influence on me." There were a few raised eyebrows in her direction. "Alright a pretty big influence. But He means well half of the time. I've learned my lesson though, you're my friend Teri and if anyone else at school tries to mess with you because of what I did, we'll back you up."

"I'm really glad, thank you girls. I couldn't ask for better friends." Teri said. After that they chatted about different things like they always did, going somewhat back to normal. In fact at some points it felt like to him that it was almost like the secret wasn't discovered at all. That feeling quickly went away when the subject turned to dating. "So Teri, did you pretend to be interested in boys because it was part of the girl thing or are you actually into them?" "Well truthfully I'm mostly into girls." "Are there any you're particularly interested in right now?" He blushed at Masami's questioning, trying not to look over at Carrie and give away that he had a crush on her. "N-not really."

Later that night Carrie found herself being shoved onto her bed. "Aren't we moving a little fast? We haven't even gone on a date yet Teri." The ghost girl's words fell on deaf ears as her house guest stripped away his dress as easily as turning a page in a book. "I'm tired of waiting, I want you now. I'll stop if you ask it though."

As the paper paws groped through her body Carrie kept quiet, having been waiting so long for this as well. It didn't take long for Teri to take his friend's silence as consent, moving in closer and sliding his cock inside of her. Carrie was a bit quiet all day, even for her. This was the one thing that made this great day not as good since he hoped after the talk from lunch yesterday they could be a little closer. Well, the one thing so far.

The next thing to bring his day down was Gumball and Darwin waiting at his locker at the end of school. He wasn't fully aware what was going to happen, but as he realized they were waiting for him he knew he wasn't off the hook.

"Hey Guys, what are you doing here?" "Obviously we're here to help you become a real man!" Why, Teri thought, why did he ever think that having his secret found out would go without some big incident?

"To Be Continued" There was an awkward silence as Teri, Gumball, and Darwin all looked over to a strange ice cream girl. "Sarah, what do you mean by that?" She gave them a serious look. "It means, TO BE CONTINUED" Then she backed away slowly and left the hallway.
