Chapter 8 to a dirty fanfic. Contains adult content and extreme fetishes.

I have a bit of story I wanted to lay out before reintroducing smut and more monsters. That being said, there is a new nameless character I introduced in this chapter: the protagonist from the Monster Hunter Stories series. I plan to name him soon, but wanted to give readers a chance to propose a name! Also, let me know if you have any monsters you're interested in seeing! I have some in mind, but am somewhat curious about what readers desire to see. Perhaps I'll look into including a monster someone mentions...!

This story is fan-made and based on the Monster Hunter Universe.

A/N Start:

This story contains extreme and sexual themes. Viewer discretion is advised.

If the following themes are unsettling for you, I advise you to leave the page:

- Monster Sex

- Vore

- Size difference

- Domination

- Violence

Not all themes have been introduced yet, though are planned.

While I'm busy laying out some plot, I reckon I'll assure readers that I plan to introduce some new monsters soon! I'm surprised, and glad, to see chapters receiving positive reactions, both for the story and smut.

A/N End

"No."

Nargacuga, despite having been understanding, was no longer being cooperative.

"It's what Elder Einzel told me while I walked back with her to the village," Xander retorted, his tone bothered.

"I'm surprised she even told you about Hakum Village," I said curiously. Elder Einzel must have warmed up to Xander more than I imagined. That, or she was desperate for help for reasons I didn't understand.

"Regardless," huffed Xander, tugging on his satchel strap, "She told me we needed to meet her there. There's someone she has gone to speak to that you need to meet." I wondered who she knew.

"Well," My facial muscles pinched together, forming a torn look, "I... guess we'll go." There wasn't a scenario where I imagined myself saying no, given that two elders were waiting for our arrival. Even so, it was Nargacuga's unease that created tension. He was as doubtful as when we first met each other, which were not good times.

"Nargacuga." I cooed, wanting to say to simply not kill anyone, but we had reached a point where asking something like that outright almost seemed hurtful. Step by step, I approached him without meeting defiance. He was quick to accept my hand, letting it pet him the way he enjoyed: right under his chin, then up and behind his pointed ears. I could feel his vulnerability, masked by an angry gaze that made his yellow eyes look dangerous to stare at directly.

"The people at Hakum Village value the bond between monsters and humans. If Elder Einzel has invited us there, I assure you we'll be welcomed in a friendly manner." My reassurance was met with a growl. Being able to feel Nargacuga's wariness, distrust, and adrenaline, it was as if his goosebumps were mine. I could see his fur stand up, not at all feeling reassured.

_"That is not familiar territory. And to say other monsters will be there, I have never gotten along with another monster." _My cheeks puffed up at that, a hiss of air weighing out my contemplation as I brewed a response.

"Look, I'm not saying it's gonna be perfect when we arrive. The people there have just as much a right to be uncomfortable as we do. However, they're going to make an effort to understand our situation and be welcoming." I dipped my head closer to his beak, feeling a less agitated breath heed my words, and added, "The best we can do is be respectful in return. No one there is looking for a fight, Nargacuga."

_"And just what if we're met with something other than peaceful gestures?" _The question was asked with as heavy a tone as the look he gave me. I sighed, the idea of conflict killing my appetite.

"We don't have to solve every hurdle with violence. It's gonna take some effort on our end at some moments, where people, or monsters, will express their concerns in a way that is off-putting." I sighed, my hand stopping its movements. His beak pushed into my belly, bringing me back before I could become lost and I resumed petting him.

"We'll have to figure some things out as they happen. If something becomes too discomforting, we can always just leave the village. We don't have to hurt anyone, Nargacuga." I almost felt like I was asking instead of telling. There was a trickle of hope that escaped me that Nargacuga could feel, wanting for this step forward to happen and for our situation to not only be understood by others but by us to a greater extent.

Nargacuga didn't move, huff, blink, he only let his ear twitch when my fingers crawled up to its tip, pinching and rubbing in ways that sparked comfort.

_"...Alright." _He stated. His muzzle surprised my face. Because we were in front of Xander, I hadn't predicted what he was doing. My hands parted hesitantly as he kissed me fully. It was brief, and before I could return the intimacy in any way, he pulled away.

Xander cleared his throat. Had my breathing stopped for a split second? Inhaling sharply, I looked over at Xander with a blush. I couldn't tell what he was thinking, though I could have sworn that as he spoke, there was a hint of amusement.

"Hakum Village isn't far from here, based on what Einzel told me," Xander pulled out a map. It looked custom-made, hand drawings providing a top-down view of what I recognized to be my village, the forest, and another village that he pointed at.

"I would say we have 5 hours on foot of travel," Xander speculated, which I felt was right. I had never been to Hakum Village, but Jay's trips there and back had always taken most of the day, usually a twelve-hour round trip.

_"No," _Me and Xander looked at Nargacuga.

"You really like that word, huh?" Xander groaned, expecting there to be something wrong.

_"That is too long," _Nargacuga stated, looking between us and at the piece of paper that had our destination on it.

_"We can get there faster." _Xander lit up at this. His first step towards Nargacuga's back was intercepted by the beast's head, stopping him with an annoyed gaze.

_"You first," _Nargacuga said to me, and I slowly realized what was being implied. Compared to his reaction toward Xander, who now crossed his arms and waited, Nargacuga was much more anticipating me to mount him. My uncertainty only served to amplify his desire. I could feel it filling me as he brought his head past me and lowered himself.

His neck was stout. I trailed across it and found a grip on both his shoulders and lats. They bulged with strength under my touch, Nargacuga exhaling as I hesitantly felt him. Sensing Xander's impatience, I bit my tongue and hoisted myself up.

My legs widened, finding stability down the sides of his neck. As I leaned down, in search of a place to grip Nargacuga, he pulled upward, prompting my torso to fully embrace his nape. I could feel the thrumming that coursed through him, making my ears turn red.

Such a bodily and emotional response was not evident during Xander's mount. Even so, Xander was simply thrilled to be on top of a monster, completely disregarding our moment and adjusting himself behind me.

_"I wish I could taste you right now." _My eyes almost bulged out of my head, looking immediately at Xander. He yielded no reaction to Nargacuga's statement, meaning Nargacuga had intentionally privatized that message for me.

_"Is the trip gonna be this hard from the start?" _I mentally responded, unsure if I could even communicate telepathically. It wasn't something I had tried. To my surprise, I could sense an established connection between us, creating a safe space to communicate unbeknownst to Xander.

"It is not the trip that is 'hard'," _Nargacuga responded slyly. His paws dug into the ground, both prepping to leave and demonstrating his level of desire. _"If not for your sense of dignity that stunts my advances, Xander would have plenty to write in those notes about... us." Nargacuga's words rendered me speechless. Amusement caused my belly to bounce once, halting a laugh as he made fun of Xander's drive for research. I also felt my skin heat up, cursing the lack of privacy both he and I now desired.

_"...At least you understand when such things are appropriate," _I finally responded, to which Nargacuga snorted.

_"It is a test of patience that I still am unsure of." _If I bit my tongue any harder, it would draw blood. Not wanting to linger on the subject, I looked back at Xander and spoke aloud.

"Which way, Xander?" My voice came out needy. Xander was too in his world to recognize this, though I felt Nargacuga's whole body shift, pushing into my groin and calling me out.

"Down this path, and so long as we can keep straight, that will be the direction that gets us there." Xander pointed at an open path that winded downwards. Nargacuga saw him point within his peripherals, letting up on his teasing and acknowledging Xander by suddenly taking off.

As I quickly leaned forward, gripping Nargacuga to steady myself, I saw a smirk happen upon his face.

"Man, this definitely won't take five hours!" Xander laughed heartily, sitting up freely as his hair bounced with Nargacuga's sprint.

The peaceful, neighboring land to our destination, Pondry Hills, came to an end as a windmill peaked over one of its hills. Granting access to the village was a bridge. At the entrance was a distant figure, quick to recognize our presence. Nargacuga slowed down, stomping into the ground and growing rigid.

"It's just a Rider," I said calmly. "It's gonna be fine, Nargacuga." I hadn't had to reassure him the whole way here. His doubts had spontaneously resurfaced, held back by me alone.

"Loosen up," I hissed, feeling every muscle unnecessarily readying for combat. Very slowly, Nargacuga let up, still stiff but appearing a little less threatening. I patted him supportively and he stopped moving, waiting for the Rider to get to us.

He rode atop a Velocidrome. Its red, crest-like mohawk swayed confidently, growing larger as it speedily carried a man to us. The creature was a blue bird wyvern, much smaller than Nargacuga. It seemed unfazed by our presence though. The Rider instilled the monstie with bravado.

This must mean the Rider was a capable young man.

His face was clean-shaven, his eyes black, and his skin tan. Though it wasn't too cold out, he wore heavier clothing. Black hair was hidden by the puffy hood that wrapped over his ears, seemingly short but impossible to tell due to the fluffy perimeter of the hood that obscured his features. The rest of his attire was just as heavy. Long, cushiony navy sleeves stretched to a light pair of black gloves. His pants were accentuated with the same puffy perimeter around the waist that matched the style of his hood. The theme referred to the armor set of a monster I couldn't pin the look to.

I wasted no more time dawdling on his appearance, each second feeling at risk of upsetting Nargacuga.

"Elder Einzel asked me to come here," I said with a nod. The Rider pulled back on the Velocidrome's head, stopping and turning to the side as he looked between the three of us. When the creature chittered, the guy patted its pale underbelly, calming it immediately. Nargacuga tensed at this, causing me to also pet him more tenderly.

His eyes never left the two strangers. The uncertainties he harbored had an unexpected reaction on the man, who spared us a small grin. He didn't seem much like one to talk, but me and Nargacuga's behavior had revealed interest.

"Chief Omna is thrilled to meet you." He skipped introducing himself. I assumed the village was aware of our presence and that he wanted to get us in as soon as possible. As he turned to guide us, he looked at Nargacuga with a knowing stare.

"The villagers are somewhat antsy but have been assured by the Chief and me that you are a 'special' type of Rider. We've tried to keep this under wraps, to not let worries stir."

He started moving forward with the Velocidrome, then stopped again as another thought crossed him.

"We only know what your Elder, Einzel, has told us. She has vouched greatly for you, but I can sense your unease." Nargacuga hesitantly stepped forward, not too fond of his observation. The Rider caught onto this quickly, holding up a hand.

"We value the bond between Riders and Monstie's greatly. I understand your situation to be unique and so, I just want you to know that whatever details you're coming to us with, we ultimately are a peaceful village. No one is here to pass judgment on you." Xander was calmed by the Rider's words, as was I, and Nargacuga took note of our demeanors.

"...I appreciate your words, Rider. I will not kill any villagers, rest assured." _Secondhand embarrassment crept up on me as Nargacuga sincerely assured the Rider. He rubbed salt on the wound, adding, _"At least, I won't attack anyone as long as I'm not attacked."

Before I could apologize embarassedly, he chuckled.

"I've never communicated with a monster before, not like this," He looked over at the kinship stone on my wrist with curiosity.

"Don't worry, no one would want to attack you. We'll try to keep people from approaching you, but understand that if you're coming in as friends, then people are naturally going to be comfortable by both your presences, and may wish to interact with you." The concept of friendly interaction was like a slap in the face to Nargacuga.

"...I understand," was all Nargacuga said. The Rider's grin never left as he turned and led us to the entrance. He didn't say it, but I knew it was implied that he could handle any controversies if they were to arise.

"I can't believe I get to see this village," Xander broke the awkward silence, marveling at the colorful atmosphere that welcomed us. Markets, homes, primitive yet cozy, and lovely structures populated the small area. Palicoes followed humans who bustled about busily, tending to monsties that rested or aided in chores that were amusing to watch.

Upon standing in the middle of it all, staying close to the Rider that guided us, an Aptonoth called out to a boy who was bringing it bundles of hay. Nargacuga was completely mesmerized, immediately noticing a strange phenomenon that became apparent.

No one was alarmed by our presence.

There was chit-chat, murmurs, and glances, but the severe lack of hostility made it all unthreatening. To make matters more interesting, I felt a wave of curiosity emanate from Nargacuga. His uncertainties dwindled, replaced with a fascination for the environment around him. I could tell he wasn't feeling social, given his closeness to the Rider who guided us uphill, but there was definite progress.

We passed a waterfall that cascaded downwards and below us, showing just how elevated this village was. This brought my attention to a herb shop, where a girl managing its space looked over at Nargacuga with amazement. Nargacuga immediately sensed her stare, glancing over bizarrely at the girl's curiousness.

"She's amazed," I said with a chortle. Nargacuga looked at me confusedly.

_"Why? Does she think I'm going to attack her?" _I chuckled, feeling for the first time concern. Nargacuga stared back at the girl, unsure how to process their distant interaction.

"No, she's not afraid of you attacking. She probably has never seen a Nargacuga before and thinks you look awesome." Nargacuga realized her gaze was not ridden with fear, not anticipating a bad scenario, but rather admiring him.

_"...I see." _I could feel the satisfaction welling up inside Nargacuga, becoming fond of the people's interest in him. The Rider and Xander curiously listened to our exchange, both grinning at Nargacuga's developing contentment for the village's atmosphere and inhabitants.

"Chief Omna," Said the Rider respectfully. Out he stepped from his house, along with Elder Einzel.

The first thing that struck me was that Chief Omna was Wyverian. He had pointed, tan ears that poked from his white hair. His hair was long, draping past his shoulders, a puffy beard just as long with a white mustache resting over it. It all looked well kept, the hair atop his head tied into a bun by a red ribbon. Those eyebrows were the largest I've ever seen, sheltering tiny black orbs that invoked a playful, kind feeling. Despite being the shortest of everyone, he was easily the most powerful being standing among all, with a wisdom in his gaze that left everyone waiting for him to speak.

"Travelers, your arrival has been most anticipated!" His gravelly, high-pitched voice was very complimentary of his appearance.

"I hope your short time here has left you feeling acquainted." His speech pattern was immediately recognizable. The bells on his staff and purple robe rattled in response to his energetic sway. Stamping the staff's base into the ground once, he turned.

"Let us move to a bigger space. Try to match my daunting pace!" I bit my lip with a grin as he hobbled onward. He was slow, making his statement even more comedic. We eventually arrived at a cavern.

Light peaked from an opening, shining down on greenery that bloomed within the lit, flat land. A man-made structure ceremoniously stood in the middle. It was a stone structure littered with flags and painted accents that led your eyes toward the altar up a stone staircase.

"We have one more person coming, he was still in the tent," Elder Einzel said, looking up at me. "I'm glad you made it here safe. How are you and Xander feeling?" As she referred to our wounds, we both shrugged.

"I'm feeling better." My wounds had long since begun healing, no longer causing me trouble. Xander's arm was still supported by a makeshift cast that held it in a certain position. He acted unbothered by his and in the past, had even been moving it around to some extent without complaint.

A voice called out behind us, signifying the arrival of the final person. The voice was oddly familiar and had called out my name. I felt a pang of nostalgia wash over me, confused by who was striking a sense of familiarity in such a way.

Turning behind me, I saw someone who I never thought I'd see in my life again. It made my blood run cold. Memories of my old village came back to me, the voice becoming all too familiar now as I stared at the man responsible for the stone in my arm.
