Living on a ring world by Raven Fox: This is two short stories of something I put together while my other stuff gets recovered. (Hope my computer geek friend can recover stuff from mechanical hard drives.) The other works I’ve been working on were lost when my computer died so bad that I had to start from scratch in building a new one. So, here’s the plot, a guy finds himself on a ring world built around a star.

An unknown place.

“Where am I?” The young human male thinks to himself standing up looking around studying his surroundings. He looks at himself seeing that he’s skinny, but his clothing is way too big due to its real loose and his pants are ready to fall off.

Memories flood his mind reminding him of who he is, but only part of them. “My name is David, and I am 54 years old. Ummm, I think I am younger than 54 years old.” David thought to himself, remembering that he was overweight, and his dark brown hair was thinning, turning gray. The human looks again at his body pulling up his shirt seeing a thin abdominal area.

More memories go through his mind of his hours trying to form a six pack at his abdominal area and giving his arms bulging biceps. Even eight years in the U. S. Army didn’t give him a build of a body builder. Then he remembered why he gave up on body building, because steroids cause testicles to shrink in size and you lose your temper easily causing something called roid rage.

David pulls his loose pants forward looking at his equipment. He saw that he has an average size member and his large testicles. The human used his leather man tool to adjust his pants by adding holes to his belt, but there was nothing he can do for his shirt.

He looked at the sky and fell on his ass at what he saw. It was something out of a sci-fi story or video game. David at the age of 54 was still a gamer and sci-fi fan playing space-based video games, plus reading books. “Ring world, I’m on a bloody ringworld like that 1970s’ book called ring world or that Halo video game.” The human thought to himself.

David looked seeing the wide structure going up into the sky in front of him. The human saw different shades of color comprising the color of the surface way ahead of him. He looked up seeing the blue sky, but due to the intensive brightness, he couldn’t get a look of what was illuminating this place. Walking forward, David decided to explore going forward due to seeing what a city in the distance might be.

Later.

Hours later, he is still walking through the field still looking around studying his surroundings. “What brought me to this place?” David whispered to himself, still walking forward to that area that might be a city. But the young human with a young body, but the mind of a 54-year-old is being watched.

The vixen saw the flash that brought the kit to this world. Arya just silently followed the kit seeing something odd. The clothing on this kit is way too big for him and she knew that the kit is male, but this kit she’s following seems different from the males of this world. “Hmmm, where are you from kit and I know what you’re wearing is the clothing you came with, and I saw you appear out of nowhere. I think I’ll catch you and get some answers.” She thought to herself seeing a group of four men walking to the kit.

He saw the group of men walking to him in a way he recognized. The young human moved his feet for better balance, but the group of men didn’t see it, but someone did.

“Well, someone knows how to fight. This is going to be interesting.” She thought to herself watching as one of the men run to the kit and ended up on the ground. Arya watched as the kit disabled the remaining three in quick succession. The vixen just watched tilting her head to the side as the kit looted the unconscious men and watches as he tried a couple pair of pants and shirts till, he had ones that fitted him. “Clever, blend in, but I better watch it, you know how to fight and defend yourself kit.” She thought to herself watching the kit.

The human male looked at the four men moaning on the ground glaring at him as he adjusted his clothes. “What’s your problem?” David glared at the men who tried taking him.

“You don’t know what’s happening kid.” Said the one with blonde hair.

“Just to let you know, I am from a different place and that place looks down on people who try taking someone as a slave. I have some advice, don’t follow me, don’t try taking me again. This time I showed mercy to you thugs, if you try taking me again or follow me, I will not show you mercy because I will kill you. Trust me, I can kill you with my bare hands, I suggest you don’t test me, I am older than I look.” David said as he took a couple more items from the four guys who won’t be moving anytime soon. He punched a few nerve clusters that would have the guys immobile for a few more minutes.

“Just wait till you run into the females here! Then you would be wishing that you’re someone’s servant.” Said one of the guys still lying on the ground in pain.

He extended his middle finger while walking away. “This place is high tech; I think I can find a ride back to where I live. If someone can build something like this ring world, I think I can find a type of craft that can take me home!” The human yelled. “Just remember, don’t follow me or I will kill you guys!”

Arya snuck pass the four guys following the kit knowing that the one talking about the females is right. Thousands of years ago when this world was built, the builders were cursed by a powerful being. Someone pissed off that being causing the being changing the females to morphs while the males remained human. The vixen decided to approach the kit in a cautious way so that she doesn’t get injured to like the four guys who tried to take him.

Later, in a wooded area.

David sat on the ground taking a rest looking around his surroundings. The sky went dark causing the human to look seeing a darken area coming close to him. He watches as the dark area gets close to him and something landed near him. Standing near David is an anthropomorphic vixen looking at him with copper colored cat like eyes standing still examining her.

She is eight inches taller than him, being the copper red coloring of foxes on Earth with the white pattern going from the checks to the inner thighs. The vixen tilted her head to the side looking at him not moving a muscle., “Just to let you know, my name Arya and I’m the female of the species of this world. You already had a run in with the males of this world. So, can we have a talk without you beating me to a pulp?” She said still looking at the kit with dark brown fur and green colored eyes.

The human looked at the vixen who is dressed in a sleeveless top being a brown in color showing a white cleavage from her large breasts showing her lean abdominal. He saw a green, brown skirt that went to the mid-thigh with a type of footwear that covered what looked like human like feet. David looks at her vixen features with the triangular ears, her light copper colored head hair that went a little pas her shoulders., “I’ll talk, but don’t try catching and taking me to sell as a servant like those four idiots a way back. So far, you’re the only female I seen, and those idiots said if I ran in to a female, I’ll be begging to become a servant. Well, I find you cute and I will talk to you because I need some answers of where I am?”

Arya sits on the ground and looks at David., “Better sit-down kit, this is going to take a while to tell.”

“I am fifty-four years old, so I’m not a kid.” Said the human sitting down not removing his eyes from the vixen. He liked the tight shirt showing her lean abdomen and cleavage from her large breasts., “I am basically starting my life all over again and I was always a furry. Better see what’s going on here, Arya is the female of this group on this ring world and this vixen seems to have more brain cells than those four guys who tried taking me.” David thought to himself looking at Arya, then cleared his throat., “So, tell me a story, I am not a kit, I am a fifty-four-year-old human male from the planet Earth at the Milky way galaxy. I just don’t know how old this body is, I am either in my late teens or early twenties.”

The vixen tilts her head to the side gazing at the human figuring out his age. She can guess the age of a human male by at least two years. Arya looks at David looking at his face seeing smooth skin with no signs of acne. The vixen leans closer looking at the humans’ eyes seeing flecks of yellow and brown in the green iris., “Hmm, I would say you’re in your early twenties. I am twenty-four, but you said you used to be a fifty-four-year-old meaning that from what I saw, you still have fifty-four years of knowledge. Meaning that I must tell you stuff and I think you’re not going to like it.” She looks at him feeling sorry for what she must tell him. Arya knew that this human male is never going to back to Earth. The vixen knew all systems in this galaxy, and she never heard of a planet called Earth.

“Alright, thousands of years ago, this ring world was built around a yellow star. Its approximal circumference is roughly 6 million miles and two thousand miles wide, but a hundred years after being finished. The builders upset a powerful being or God causing the females being changed to morphs, but the males remained human, but they lost some IQ points. So, some of the human males here are rough, aggressive wanting a stash of credits filling their pockets. The problem is you be yourself will be always looking behind your back for the next one to try making you a personal servant.” Arya said to David and the couple walked in a direction.

He thinks to himself remembering what was going on before ending up here in a younger body. David was a loner dated a few women, never gotten married and raising a family because he thought bringing kids into the world would have been an act of cruelty to the kids. The human thought to himself, thinking, digging into his memories of the last thing he remembered. All what his last memory was being in a Walmart getting cat food for his cat and that was it. He walked with her for a spell making his decision, but living with a vixen might be safer than being alone looking behind his back while being on this world., “So, Arya, will it be a problem if I stay with you? I admit, I don’t know anything about this world and the last thing I need is to do something that might cause me ending up in a jail cell or whatever your people put law breakers at.”

She looks at him with a grin., “Yes, you can stick with me and there will be a couple of things to do. One, I got to put a silver torque around your neck so that no one will try to take you. When we are in a town, stick with me and never leave my sight. Most of the inhabitants of this world will honor the torque around your neck, but there will be a few that will try taking you. The main reason is that you are a good-looking human male, and some female morphs will try taking you. So, stick with me when we are in the towns, we should be at my hometown the day after tomorrow and things will be easy there.” The vixen says to the human grabbing something from the pack on her back.

The human saw a piece of jewelry in the shape of a circle with two small spheres touching each other. He felt a shiver go up his spine when she placed it around his neck., “Always prepared, I like that.” David said to Arya with a grin.

“Found it at a shop, at the other town behind us. You are lucky that you didn’t end up there or you would have ended up at an auction. A fine young human would of fetch a lot of credits, but I am lucky that I got you for free, just kidding. Someone like you in my hometown will find a good place to work with your intelligence. When I examined your eyes, I saw the look of someone who saw a lot. So, tell me some stories of this Earth and your life till you ended up here.” The vixen said as they walked to the next town.

David thinks and relaxes telling Arya of planet Earth. The human digs into his mind telling her of the history he knows. He is a history nut knowing enough history that could have made him a history teacher, but he preferred repairing vehicles and machinery. David thinks to himself finding that he might have been slightly selfish of not trying hard enough to find the right woman to live his life with. But remembering of what has been going on in the last fifteen years of his life made the guilt go away and ending up on this world is a second chance in life he didn’t live on Earth., “So what is wrong living with an anthropomorphic vixen. I wish a few of my furry friends are with me, they would be saying I died and gone to heaven.” The human thought to himself continuing walking with the vixen.

Arya listens to David as he talks to her. She finds him an interesting male and very smart., “Yeah, better tell him not to talk too much at the town when we get there. Better get him to my town, but I will be keeping the other vixens away from him.” The vixen thought to herself as she listens to the human male. Arya heard how far the humans got in space exploration and shook her head.

Later, a town.

David looks up at the sky seeing a black sky with no features. A hand guided the human to a place that looked like an inn. He followed the vixen seeing a different type of female morphs. David saw more vixens like Arya, some different canines and saw some feline morphs. The human saw some of the feline morphs looking at the vixen with him. He didn’t see the female tiger talking to a com unit.

The vixen looked at the tiger morphs watching them. She doesn’t have the time to tell the human that the tigers have a price on her head for stealing some stuff. Arya looked around missing the tiger nearby putting away the com unit in her outfit.

He followed her into the building, staying close to her looking around. David looked around seeing that the décor would be mid 1970s with the smell of that decade. The smell is a wood musky smell with the smell of warm electronics the human smelled. He listens as she talked to the cashier handing coins to him and accepted a set of keys. David followed Arya to an elevator going through the open doors. The human felt the vixen grabbed his hand making him relax.

A few minutes later the couple walked into a room making him take in the room furnishings. There is a single bed in the room with a thick green carpet. David had a flashback of his earlier years of living. The seventies will always be his favorite decade of his life even thou he only remembered the last five years of that decade. He overlooked the furnishings seeing familiar designs of his early life., “Before computers, cellphones, and social media. Oh, I miss when things where simpler and fun…OH!” The human thought to himself feeling slim hands running down his back seeing the vixen looking at him removing her clothing in the reflection of the mirror in front of him.

“I hope that I am not too young for you David, it’s been a couple of years and that’s far to long for a vixen.” Said Arya taking the last item of clothing off her body.

The human exhales looking at the vixen standing before him. Her copper-colored head hair is loose., “More like a model like appearance, I like it.” David thinks to himself, looking at her large firm breasts with a pink canine vulva within the thick white fur between her legs. He removes his clothing feeling the cool air on his member and balls and he ends up on the bed on his back. The human looks at the vixen climbing onto his body looking into his eyes.

“Just to make you feel better, you’re wider and longer than the human males on this world.” Arya said lowering herself onto his member taking it inside her vulva.

“No wonder they’re in a bad mood all the time. I would do if I had a small dick.” The human said feeling the warmness engulfing his member. It’s been around eight years since he had sex with a woman who worked at a Donnas’ ranch at Wells Nevada. David would not have sex with a woman working the streets risk getting robbed by her pimp or catching a venereal disease. He did catch one when at Pusan Korea, that was caused by being too drunk and forgetting to put on a condom. That was a bad experience, and he did get in trouble over that. David looked at Aryas’ body seeing that she has areolas on her breasts., “Oh, I just love the feeling of her fur on my body… Oh this feels nice, fuck what those guys said about the females, they feel so dam nice.” The human thought to himself as the vixens’ breasts pressed on his body that felt so good. He hugged and kissed her, feeling her body on his.

Catelyn looked thru the hole drilled thru the wall watching the thief have sex with that nice looking human male. The female tiger had to pay fifty extra credits to have a hotel maid do the deed. She could of just take care of the thief, but her older sister told her that the human with the thief severely injured four human males., “I could have taken care of him sister, but you told me to wait for help. But I will never question your orders because I never want your job as chieftain of our tribe, and you have a few more IQ points over me.” Catelyn looks as the couple did their mating hearing the thief scream. The tiger shakes her head remembering seeing the humans’ length before the thief started mating with the human., “Don’t blame you for screaming from the human sticking that inside you thief. After capturing you, I might just steal that human from you and mate with him with you watching tied up.” The female tiger thought to herself watching the show.

Her sisters’ extra help will arrive tomorrow morning and they will storm the room taking the thief into custody. But the fox will end up outfoxing the tiger.

The next morning, Aryas’, and Davids’ room.

The lock of the room door clicked, and the door opened letting in four female tigers with two male humans. Catelyn went to the bed with a huge biped shaped bulge under the covers., “Alright Arya, get out of the bed, stand, and face me with your hands up. You to human, get out of the bed and stand by the thief with the vixen.” The female tiger said still looking at the bed. After around fifteen seconds of no movement, she growled flinging the bedding off the bed., “Alright thief, I’ll have my companions tie you up and me and the other females will just share the human while you watch. Why you sneaky fox!!” Catelyn yelled seeing the sheets rolled up into the shape of two bipeds. She grabs her com unit., “Brienee, they sneaked out during the night, don’t know when they left. I think she’s heading to her village.” The tiger was about to speak again when she was interrupted by her sister.

“Calm down little sister, I assumed that she would pull something like that. Not all the guards I sent to you ended up with you, half are between you and that thief’s village. Your orders are confinement of the thief and category one confinement of the human, no harm to him, that’s my orders. If he attempts to escape, stun him, I don’t even want a claw scratch on his hairless hide, same goes for the thief, I personally want to talk to her.” Said her sisters’ voice from the com unit.

The tiger does a feline hiss stuffing the com unit in her pocket and looks at her team., “You heard my older sister, lets’ leave this place and catch that thief before the other team catches them.” She walks out of the room being followed by her team.

Hours later, crossing a large field.

David was wondering why they left the room early this morning. He heard Arya mutter something that she might have been spotted last night. So, the human just followed the vixen thru the field they’re crossing.

“Oh crap, they found us.” Said Arya seeing a bunch of figures standing up aiming weapons at them. She saw tigers knowing that they wanted her unharmed. The vixen turned to the human next to her., “I know that you’re good during just unarmed combat, but they will stun you before you can throw a punch or kick. The tigers and felines are the most advanced race in this world, meaning that they don’t use swords and crossbows. They use guns, sorry, looks like we’re going to be their guests, so for now, don’t talk too much. I might work out a deal, maybe.” Arya said, raising her hands in the air.

David did the same thing as the female tigers and male humans walked up to them. He saw as they bond Aryas’ hands together in front of her. But the female tigers aimed weird looking guns at him gesturing him to follow them, but another one walked up to the group standing really close to him looking him over.

She stood a good foot taller than him, making her just over six feet tall. Her head hair is dark colored copper color is a more reddish brown to it. The female tiger is looking at him with gold-colored eyes., “I know you’re not of this ring world human. Where do you come from?” Catelyn asked David looking him over.

“That will take a while to tell you. I hope soon to find the answer of how I got here, sorry for being rude, my name is David S. Smith.” The human said to the tiger.

Catelyn was about to mate with the human when her com unit beeped making her answer it., “I have the thief and human in custody Brienee.”

“Just to let you know, I am the oldest, I get him first. So, bring our guests back to the town little sister, taking two prisoners back to home shouldn’t take too long. But I get him first, you can have him later.” Said the chieftain of the tiger city.

She sighs out loud looking at her team, knowing that they were only ten seconds behind the thief and her companion. It doesn’t bother that her older sister gets the human first, but she does a quiet chuckle., “I hope the human doesn’t mind having sex with a female tiger who is eight months pregnant.” The tiger thinks to herself knowing that the human sire responsible for her condition is now at an island where the penal colony is located at., “He shouldn’t have left her, what’s wrong of being a first gentleman, it’s a real easy job.” She thought to herself, leading the group back to her town.

David walked by Arya looking at the group surrounding them., “So, what is going on here?”

The vixen sighs., “I didn’t have the time to tell you this, me and the felines don’t get along. I happen to take some stuff from the felines, so I have a price on my head. Sorry, if we had made it to my village, I would have been safe, that’s why we left early this morning. Last night I saw Catelyn in the hotel lobby last night, didn’t know that she had a team waiting for us. So now we’re going to see Brienee, the chieftain of the tigers.”

Thirty plus years ago, he would have lost his temper and start calling the vixen names but being alive for over fifty years taught him the listen to both sides of the story and not act like a two-year old child., “When we can, you’re going to tell me everything of what’s going on here if you still want me as your mate.” David said to Arya who nodded in agreement. “Good, I really do want to live with you, because I want to enjoy my second chance in life.” The human said to the vixen feeling that spark of anger go out inside him.

“I promise that I will tell you everything, I think it will take a while before you fully trust me. I am not a killer or violent crime vixen; I am a thief who likes to take stuff occasionally.” She said looking around at the tigers and humans, Catelyn was not nearby, she was behind them listening.

The tiger heard everything and processed what she heard. Now she really knows that the human male isn’t from this ringworld., “He’s too smart, a human male from this world would have called the thief vulgar names and hit her. Did he say that he’s over fifty years old, looks like my sister is going to mate with a grandpa. But he looks like a human in his early twenties, but I still want to mate with him.” Catelyn thought to herself seeing Arya looking at her, the tiger waved at the vixen with a full toothy grin.

Hours later, Tigers’ city.

David looked at the city coming into view as he walked to the city. The city seemed more organized than the town he was in last night.

Catelyn walked up to him matching his walk., “My sister wants a word with you when we arrive at town hall.” She said to him looking him over and ran thoughts through her mind., “As for the thief, she might just spend some days in a jail cell. If you cooperate with my sister, another deal might be reached, for now just stay quiet until she asks you some questions.”

The human nods looking back seeing the vixen with guards around her. He noted that her head was bowed down making her look at the ground. David exhales seeing some of the female tigers looking at him and he looks at the buildings studying their construction seeing that they seemed well maintained in good shape. The human is gently guided to a large structure.

Minutes later, David saw a white female tiger wearing a white lingerie dress talking to a couple of tigers and male humans. He saw a few white tigers among the orange stripped coloring when walking to this building. The other tigers wore regular type sleeveless shirts with shorts, but this one female tiger is wearing this type of dress. Gazing at her, the human studied the white female tiger seeing that she’s taller than him with an athletic build with large breasts, plus he saw that she’s pregnant. He saw that her platinum-colored head hair is almost touching her butt., “Between six to eight months in the gestation.” David thought, looking at the medium blue colored eyes looking at him.

“My name is Brienee, chieftain of this town human. I bet you have some questions for me, but I will answer them if I can.’ Said the female tiger looking at him with a smile. She didn’t want to do the full toothy grin because she knew that he was not from this world.

The human told her everything of what happen since he showed up yesterday on this world., “The last thing I remembered was being at a Walmart getting supplies.” He used the term supplies instead of groceries so he didn’t half explain that Walmart is a super center where you can get everything at one place. David told her of his home on Earth and more of the last things he remembered.

Brienee listened to David processing what he told her. She winches of feeling the child inside her kick., “One more month and this child will be out.” She thought to herself and gathered her thoughts to tell this human of this world.

He listens to her story of how this world is built and that there is another ring that is wider that has a section that has half of it missing to simulate night at one section of this world., “Is there a way to use a type of craft to examine the structure of this world?” The human asks the tiger waiting for the answer. David listens that the felines of this world only have small utility craft for doing exterior inspections.

“They are only short range, or low endurance. We don’t have a means to go where your Earth is due to what happen long ago when the females were changed to morphs while the males remain human.” She said doing a sigh and remembers the door at a structure that no one hasn’t been able to open., “I want to show you something, maybe having someone who thinks different, might be able to open this door that no one hasn’t be able to open.” The tiger says to lead him and her entourage out of the building.

Minutes later, an old building in the center of town.

David looks at the door in front of him studying it taking in its construction. He can understand that a door with no visible handles would have anyone stumped in trying to open it. The human walked closer running his hands on the wall feeling for any mechanism that might pop open showing a keypad or secret button., “Ouch!” David said jerking his hand away seeing a small bubble of blood on his right index finger.

A computerize female voice said., “Sample taken, processing…..sample is from unknown human male, not from this world. Where are you from?”

“From the planet Earth at the Milky Way Galaxy.” He said and used his best guess where his solar system is at.

There’s a moment silence from the computer and the machine replied., “Ok, I’ll test you by a riddle, I can tear down a mountain, children play with me, I blind people, but I can make a blind man see. What am I.” The computer asked him.

David saw the tigers and humans talk to each other and grins., “The answer is sand, in a windstorm, it’s course build tears down mountains by erosion. At beaches, children build sandcastles, when blown in your face, it blinds you. One of its components is silica which is used to make glass that makes glasses to help a sight impaired man see.”

“Correct, you may enter with your party.” The computer says opening the door letting the party enter., “Don’t worry, you and any members of your group can open this door in the future.”

Catelyn stayed quiet as she followed the group in this section of the town. She remembered the countless times her people tried getting past this one door., “It only open for this one human from another world after he answered a riddle. My sister, you’re lucky that you get him first, but I can wait for my turn.” The tiger thought to herself looking at the strange setup of this place.

The human walked into a large room with a large stainless-steel tub with robotic arms in the ceiling. He examined a control panel that he recognized that is used to control machines. David wiped a layer of dust studying the touch screen reading the characters seeing that its English.

“I translated the characters to your English so that you can understand what you’re reading. I am transferring a copy of my matrix to the gynoid that is seventy percent complete in the birthing chamber.” Said the computer as machinery started up.

David looked in the tub seeing a chrome metal skeleton in the liquid looking like one of the terminators from the movie Terminator. The human remembered the term gynoid meaning female android, remembering movies that featured female androids and Japanese anime., “Long black hair with blue eyes.” He mumbled to himself thinking of anthropomorphic vixens.

“Finishing construction of gynoid, with requested parameters.” Said the computer as the robotic arms went in the tub causing the liquid inside to froth.

The group watches as those arms move at a fast speed making the fluid boil. A minute later, the arms retracted as something emerged from the tub. A biped shape came out of the tub with the liquid dripping from it.

“Her.” The human thought to himself seeing triangular ears in damp black colored long hair. He sees damp copper colored fur with a white front of a vixen. David saw the vixen has breasts the same size as Arya with light pink areolas. The human saw that the vixen emerging from the tub is of a slim build. He saw that her eyes were still closed, and they opened showing a blue, white color that made them seem to glow.

“Anyone going to dry me off and give me some clothes?” The vixen asked looking at the group.

One of the female tigers of the group walked up to her giving the vixen an extra shirt after using a cloth to try drying the fur on the vixen.

“I am Aki, a copy of the computer that runs this place.” The vixen said walking up to the male human looking him over. She cocks her head to the side doing a smile., “You, I am going to find out by how you got here and what’s going on. A human male who started out being fifty-four ends up being twenty-two. Hmm, this body might be less than two minutes old, but you shouldn’t be guilty of me being underage, because I am between the age of three to five thousand years old to make you feel better. I hope you do like older vixens because I really like you.” Aki said running a finger under Davids’s chin.

He feels a rush go thru his body as the vixen looks him over. The human saw something different in the vixens’ eyes over the other in habitats of this world., “She looks like my age, but wiser and more mature.” David thought to himself as he looked at Aki over seeing that she is a head shorter than him.

The vixen whispered., “That pregnant female tiger wants to mate with you, if I were you I better if I want to see Arya again.” She saw him nod as the vixen lead the group out of the place back in the town.

Hours later, town hall.

Brienee looked at Aki who was wearing a green colored short sleeve shirt with shorts that made her cute in appearance. She saw the thief standing between two of her guards looking at Brienee, making her look at the group. The tiger had a talk with the constructed vixen deciding that she’ll have her on her staff as an advisor due to the mind of the vixen being thousands of years old. One of them runs up to him, but the young guy uses a move taught in Army basic training to make him go on the ground. “Well, we will just take you instead of that brat.” Said one of the thugs getting up. He looks at the other getting up., “Flux, we have to team up on this one, now!” They rush him.

Paul got the one who he just crippled and started pounding on his face knocking teeth out and breaking facial bones till the thug stopped moving. He got up and started on the other one, he was the one who punched the kid. The guy beat him till his face was bloodied, then he grabbed the back of his head, and his other hand grabbed his chin., “Now twist and break the neck and this thug will never hurt any kids anymore.” Paul thought to himself and got ready to twist.

“Two things that piss off a woman, call her a female dog, or mess with her kid.” The human replied watching the vehicle drive away. He turns to the vixen as they walk to the town hall., “Well, Let's go see the mayor. Then, we will see. What job, she gives me.”

The Vixen looks at Paul, then grins at him saying., “I think she'll be in a better mood due her sending those guys to the penal island. Have said something to her, without a chance of demanding a ransom. Go see what she is going to offer you.”

Minutes later, the town hall chamber.

They stood in front of the mayor, looking at her as she looked back at him with her reddish-brown eyes. Paul looked her over, still wishing that she was single. He loves her build, what A female gets after giving birth to a child. But the human respects her mate. Knowing that whoever he is, is lucky, to go in bed with her.

I sure don't want to be those two guys right now; they're going to be in a world of hurt before they get to the penal island. I think you're going to like that job, being the inspector of this world. My wife does the same job as she loves it. Found out that Arwen is going to be waiting for you, she just got back from the tigers’ town. So good luck and I'll see you later.” He walks away as a sleek train pulls up.

As he boarded, he gives the pieces of paper to the female wolf and watches as she looks them over. The female wolf returns the papers and gestures him to a seat. Paul sits in a very nice comfortable seat looking around, a few minutes later, the train starts moving. Looking around, the human looks out the window seeing the metal structures going by him. He rests his head and watches the scenery go by.

An hour later, a train station.

He is instructed to leave the train and walk into a station. Paul looks around seeing human males and different female morphs. The human saw more vixens, canine and different types of felines. He saw a vixen walking up to him. For a moment, Paul thought Sophia followed him here, but he saw this vixen is different from the mayor.

“Yes, she did, I was ready to kill him, but your older sister stopped me. She already sent them to the penal island. Just to satisfy my curiosity, where is that place?” The human asked the vixen.

“We will be going by it later today. So, follow me to the vehicle that we use to inspect the ring world.” Arwin leads him out of the station.

Paul follows Arwin out of the station and down a street. He looks around finding himself, from a small European town to a city that looked like Tokyo Japan. The human looks around seeing crowds of human males and female morphs. Paul decided to stay close to Arwen, so he wouldn’t get lost in this large city. He kept close to her and soon they were standing next to a type of sleek vehicle.

“This is the craft we used to inspect this ring world, it's a type of shuttle we used to fly around and inspect the structure. Any necessary repairs are done using an EVA suit, so that's our job, inspect and do any necessary repairs.” The vixen said starting the systems in the shuttle.

He sat next to her not daring to touch anything while the craft lifted off the ground. The human watched as the shuttle flew over buildings and what looked like an edge. Paul watched as his view changed as the shuttle went nose down with a steel structure on one side and empty space on the other.

The view changed a few minutes later as there was a structure above him. He saw that before on the model at Lyras’ house yesterday. High intensity lights came on and the shuttle slowed as Arwin started inspecting those structures.

“And that's what we do, fly, inspect, and do any necessary repairs.” The vixen said looking at the structures above them.

Later that day.

The beginning of this day was OK for the human. He noted that there were no abnormalities so far this day. Paul noticed that Arwen flew the shuttle to a type of structure and went inside it. The shuttle flew into a space that looked like a hangar at an airport. He looked at the vixen grinning at him.

She says., “Time for a break, follow me.” As Arwen shuts down the shuttles systems.

Paul follows her through the space and through a door down a hallway. Arwen opens a door turning on a light. He saw a small room with a bed and saw the vixen removing her clothing.

Arwen says while removing her clothing., “I know that you have a crush on my older sister, but she's mated to a nice human male. Hope that I'm a suitable replacement, we're just alike, but I never carried a child.”

She was told not to talk about something to another human, but she told me.” Arwin, then told Paul what Aki told her yesterday, the portal experiment on earth and what it did to the planet., “In other words, don't tell any other humans of what happened. To me, you seem levelheaded. I know she's telling the truth, because I found out she's a construct, a female Android that looks like a vixen.”

He took it all in thinking to himself, the anger that was his companion since his wife and son was killed, resurfaced. But, the human kept it inside hoping that prick of a DA was killed. Thinking of that spineless guy being killed made him happy., “I wonder what was going through his mind when that white flash killed him instead of transporting him here, I hope he didn't make it here.” Paul thought to himself looking at the beautiful vixen sitting near him.

Epilogue, a few months later, fox’s town.

The three people walked down the street holding hands, one male human and two vixens. Paul looked at the two vixens and smiled to himself. He really enjoyed the last three months of his new life.
