Pliv's POV

“The patient's vitals are stable, virus sample injected," said a voice in the dark. My body

felt heavy, my eyes couldn't open, and my fingers were tingling.

“Virus has traveled to the tumors… it has turned them… yellow?" Asked a voice.

“The same color as the virus sample?" Asked another voice.

“Yes, it seems to be entering his veins as well and… wait, it's growing!"

“Growing? As in… oh fuck! The tumors!" I felt pain shoot across my back, tears coming

to my eyes, as a feral cry came from my lips.

“He's awake! Sedate him! NOW!" Yelled out a voice. “And… TAKE COVER!"

I awoke again in a cold sweat, my heart racing as I tried to catch my breath. The same

nightmare again as I had from the last two weeks, reliving the procedure again and again. I

wrapped my arms around my legs under the thin blanket that covered me, the yellow glow of my

fur filling the small abandoned subway car that I now called home.

“You okay, Pliv?" Asked a voice. I turned suddenly to see one of my new heads on my

shoulder that appeared from that incident. It was the head on my right, calling himself Righty.

His gray skull face the same as mine, with a yellow upside down Y on his forehead and a long

mane of yellow fur running down his neck, just like mine. His neck stretched and twisted,

stretching to face me. It didn't hurt, it just felt weird.

“It was another nightmare. The same treatment one as before," said the other new head. The one on my left, Lefty. At least the naming scheme was good for me.

“I know, but it helps to at least talk about it," said Righty.

“We have the same brain!" Exclaimed Lefty.

“Not now," I said, getting up. “Just… not now… What time is it?" I looked at the time on

my phone, plugged into the outlet of the subway car. Four thirty in the morning, at least a start to

the day.

“It's fine, let's just… do some stuff," I said, trying to get up.

“Like moving out of the car and into some place more sustainable?" Asked Lefty. I rolled

my eyes as I got up, heading to the bathroom. I put my hands under the little dirty water that was

still running in the pipes, washing my face off.

I looked up in the mirror, seeing my skull heads staring back at me. A permanent grin

showed, as my neck coated in yellow fur that stretched and changed. I looked like the grim

reaper… it made me sick. Why me? Why did I get sick? Why was I kidnapped? Why

experimented on? I could feel my fist pull back, ready to smash the image to bits, only to be

stopped by something in my head.

“Hey, hey," said Lefty, talking into my ear. “It'll be okay."

“Yeah, it just takes time to get used to it," said Righty. I let out a sigh, they probably

knew what I felt, about myself, and them. They knew me too well.

“C'mon, let's go get breakfast," said Lefty.

“Yeah, get it to go," I said. I brushed my teeth and left the bathroom, heading towards the

nearest tunnel exit.

“You know, there might be some kind of map or record of the subway tunnels at the local

library. Might be able to find a nicer place to set up than a subway car," said Righty.

“Yeah, and maybe we can grab some stuff from our apartment. At least some basic

creature comforts," said Lefty.

“Yeah, that might not be the worst idea ever," I said. “You know what I haven't had in a

while… Ralphie's."

“Ugh, that does sound good," said Lefty.

“They usually had some good breakfast options too. At least back in college," said

Righty. “Might be worth hitting it up."

“Yeah, I think so. We can probably get to a closer exit through the tunnels," I said.

“Right, less time on the surface, the less likely we are to be spotted," said Righty.

We headed out of the subway car, heading further down into the subway tunnels. The

darkness melted away from the yellow light that always surrounded me. I had figured out how to

dim the light a week ago, enough for me to at least sleep in what little peace I could find.

“Hey, you want to know what might help?" Asked Lefty, the cheeky tone in his voice

only matched what I was thinking as well.

“I think we all agree," said Righty, my right hand moving on it's own. My left hand

followed, the two of them controlling my hands. They slowly undid the tattered rags that I was

covered in, sliding them off my body and throwing them over my shoulder. My naked ass and

long yellow dick was exposed. With the only thing left were the rags wrapped around my feet;

the only things that covered my feet, protecting me from whatever was on the ground.

“If we're going to live down here, we might need to clean up everything. Less of a

hazard," said Lefty.

“Yeah, I guess, and… Oh hey!" I called out, spotting an abandoned comic stand. I rushed

over, my balls and dick bouncing in the air as my tail swayed side to side. My eyes scanned the

stand, looking it over. My heart fluttered and raced as I saw them, a golden jackpot.

First editions to both the Emperioum Guards and the Warehouse Chronicles, sitting in a

glass case, behind the counter.

“SCORE!" I yelled out with a smile.

“Oh hell yeah!" Exclaimed Lefty.

“Now that's just lucky," added Righty. I tried to open the case, feeling the lock hold it

close.

“Damn… okay, new plan," I said. I slid a tentacle into the keyhole, filling it up, and then

turning the lock until it opened.

“Sweet, that worked," I said, opening the case with a racing heart. The comics were still

in good condition, not mint, but good enough to read at least.

“Hell, yeah," I said. “I'll keep ahold of these." I put them into my makeshift backpack,

sending it back to the subway car.

“I wonder," said Lefty as we kept walking through the tunnels. “Do you think anyone

else is down here?"

“If there is, then they've been keeping their distance," I said. “Besides, they'd probably

just run off screaming if they saw us."

“Yeah, I can see it now though: 'Big dicked monster loose in the subway. Everyone

beware.' The news would have a field day with us," said Righty.

“Hey, you got the big dicked part right," said Lefty.

“Yeah, big… and heavy," I said, looking down at it. It had been weeks since I had blown

off some steam. I was pent up to say the least, but my mind was focused on so much other stuff

that I never had a chance to do anything about it.

“Man, I seriously hope we don't find anyone down here," said Lefty.

“It's odd that we haven't," I said, slowly bringing my hand down to my dick.

“It's what? A thousand miles long in total? I don't think that we could ever find another

person down here randomly and you're going to paw off aren't you?" Asked Righty, looking

over at me.

“Yeah, what? We don't know how this stuff changed our sexual organs," I said. The two

of them looked at me, then each other, then back to me.

“Fine, we can't have to hide two monsters in public," I said.

“We're not a monster," said Lefty.

“Just, different," said Righty. “Very different." My dick went limp at the thought of what

I had become. Nobody would ever love me again, nobody would ever want to be with me. Not

like I had much success before, but this was different now. Now there was nothing.

My body continued to walk forward, dragging its claws against the walls. Everything that

I touched was covered in that yellow liquid that leaked out of every pour in my body. The

memories flashed back to the rabbit that I had encased in it. I had cloned it, and the clone killed

it. Was that on me? Am I a murderer because of it?

“Guys… can I ask you something?" I said.

“Yeah, what's up?" Asked Lefty.

“What, are you?" I asked.

“Um, care to simplify that?" Asked Righty.

“I mean, you two just grew on me," I said.

“Awwww, you're getting used to us," snarked Lefty.

“Not what I meant! But I mean, where did you come from? What are you?"

“In terms of how we came to be, we were created by a sudden intake of nutrients from

your surroundings and the individuals that you were protected from," said Righty.

“The docs and that rabbit," I said.

“Exactly. I know, not what you were hoping to hear, but it was out of self defense," said

Righty.

“Yeah, they did kidnap you and inject you, us, whatever, with a mystery serum," said

Lefty. “It's not like they were innocent in anything."

“I know, I… I just don't like the idea of me killing them. Even if it was self defense," I

said. “It just doesn't feel right."

“Pliv, I'm sorry that happened," said Righty. “For what it's worth, you did escape a very

bad situation, and you had no control over your body at that time. It wasn't your fault."

“Yeah, Righty's right, you couldn't control yourself at that point. I get that what created

us was a, very, very bad thing. But we're not the enemy you're looking for."

“I… look, the exit's coming up here. C-Can we talk about this later?" I asked.

“Sure, no point in arguing about it on an empty stomach," said Righty. We approached

the exit, slowly headed up to the streets.
