Virtually Real Chapter 70: A World of Pokemorphs
The team travels to the virtual wold of pokemon and pokemorphs in order to stop the killing. Oh and to get more slaves for the ever growing harem as well.
Virtually Real Chapter 70: A World of Pokemorphs.
"Welcome back. What happened? Did you collapse again?" Keb asked, as I slowly opened my eyes.
"You were gaming without sleeping again, weren't you?" Mal asked, as I stretched and yawned.
"How long have I been unconscious this time?"
They looked at each other. "Only a couple of hours." Mal admitted.
"This is the shortest time you've been out like this for as long as I can remember." Keb added. "What happened?"
"I'm not sure. I know I made a stupid joke and it made Wolf and Kyle really angry. I think I did it because they were already arguing so I tried to redirect their anger onto myself."
Keb rolled his eyes. "That's something you would do. Wolf and Kyle came out of VR glaring at each other and then headed in different directions. Why are they fighting?"
"I'm not really sure. I just know Rider must have thought I was to blame."
"Yeah he came stomping out a short time later, asked which way Kyle went, and then ordered us to take care of you. When I say ordered he yelled at us and called you bad things. What happened between you?" Mal asked.
"I'm really not sure of the details after he punched me."
"He what!" They both yelled.
I opened the front of my suit and then closed it as quickly as possible. From the mass of bruising it was obvious Rider hadn't held back. If not for the chamber's safety setting and my armor's automated defenses I'd likely be in the evolver getting new organs and back bones.
"Is that all he did?” Mal asked, quietly.
"He tranquilized me. Probably right after he hit me so I wouldn't notice."
"Mahan, where is Rider right now?" Keb growled.
"He is in a mental health session with Wolf."
"Mahan, have you scanned the Captain's injuries?" Keb asked.
"They are superficial and non-life threatening."
"Open communication to Tye on the Archangel."
"Hey Mal, or should I call you dad now? Anyway, what's up?"
"Is there any way for you to convince Mahan to, temporarily, make Keb or me Captain?"
"What's going on?" Tye asked.
"It's nothing, really."
"Don't give me that. I've known both of you long enough. You both hate the idea of leadership so if you're asking then something is very wrong."
"Okay. Kyle and Wolf aren't getting along, Rider is being really stupid, and Prowl-Ar is doped up on sedatives."
"I'm not." I tried to protest.
"As much as we hate the idea, right now Mal and I seem the most emotionally stable ones on the ship."
"Mahan, order 13, Keb is now the Captain for the next twenty four hours. Listen, we know how stubborn they can be, if they haven’t worked things out in that amount of time let me know. I'll send Trace over to help."
"I'm fine, really." I objected.
"Dad, you're trying too hard. If you were fine you'd be accusing Mal and Keb of mutiny and ordering Mahan to make one of them Captain. Keb, what is really going on?"
"It's like I told you. Just an ongoing argument between Rider, Kyle, Wolf, and Prowl-Ar. Without Shock or Dash here we just thought it would be best if one of us, not involved, takes command until they've sorted their problems."
"So I'm really not going to get any details?"
"Tye, right now even I have no idea what is going on. And I'm not drugged!" I yelled.
"Yeah, seems like you made the right decision, Captain. Keep us updated." Tye said before closing the link.
"Mahan, as acting Captain I'm ordering Rider, Wolf, and Kyle to the living room. Further I'd like you to contact Shock and Dash. They need to be a part of this as well."
"Keb, don't let the power go to your head." I growled. "There is no need to bother Shock and Dash."
"Rider and Wolf are in session and cannot-" Mahan started.
"The session is canceled. I'm ordering Wolf up here to give us his medical assessment of Prowl. As for Rider he can either come up on his own or he can be escorted by security drones. Violence like this won't be tolerated!" Keb yelled, pointing at my belly. "Mal, help me move-"
"I can get up and walk on my-" As I stood I nearly doubled over. Maybe I was hurt more than I was letting on. "Okay, maybe I could use a little help, but I want to make a stop in my office. I'd just like to update my journal while we wait for everyone. Besides I'd rather Wolf examine me in private."
"Okay, but once there don't go anywhere." Keb ordered.
"Promise you'll remain in your office until we come to help you." Mal said, making sure I understood how serious they were.
I sighed. "I promise."
I had to keep from laughing at the look on their faces. They must not have expected me to actually promise.
"Really?" Keb asked.
"It is short term and I don't much feel like moving, so it's an easy promise to keep."
They helped me into my office, I insisted on sitting at my desk. Bending into a sitting position really hurt but I made sure not to show it.
"Now we're just going to send Wolf in and get everyone seated." Mal said.
I just smiled and nodded. As soon as they were out the door I started pushing hidden touch sensitive spots on the desk until a small compartment was revealed. I pulled out the contents. I loaded the injector and pressed it against my neck just as Wolf entered.
"What the Hell!" He yelled, pulling the gun from my hand. "What did you just inject?"
"It's just a pain killer. It blocks all pain receptors allowing my nanites to function at full capacity. I'll be fully healed in an hour or two."
"I don't like it. You know if you're in pain you're supposed to come to me."
"I didn't want to interrupt-"
"Remove the top half of your suit."
"Huh?"
"Captain Keb insisted I examine you without your uniform. Now remove the top." He gasped at the bruising. "Did this happen in the game?"
"No, not exactly." Gods why was I unable to lie, even small white lies, to my mates?
Wolf looked thoughtful, as if he was putting things together. "RIDER!"
I shivered. He'd gone full werewolf. It was hard to imagine but his fur had gotten darker and he was emitting an aura similar to my black fire, only this was reality. Perhaps scariest of all were his eyes. They were pupilless and glowing blood red. No, not just glowing, they seemed to be emitting the red energy.
He stormed out. I followed as quickly as I could but only made it to the door remembering my promise. It's not like Keb or Mal could come and get me they were holding Wolf back along with Shock and Dash. Obviously they were using drone telepresence units.
"What the hell is going on?" Kyle yelled, as he entered.
I sighed and pulled my desk chair to the doorway and carefully sat down. I couldn't feel any pain, but standing in a numbed state for any length of time could lead to falling. I was in enough trouble already.
Two heavy security drones followed Kyle in and took control of Wolf.
"Mahan, has Wolf gone feral?" Kyle asked, and I felt the concern from him. It was strange, I was completely numb but it made me feel what Shock and Kyle were feeling even more.
"No, I haven't gone feral, but when I'm done with him; Rider is going to wish I had. Mahan, prepare an evolver chamber. Rider is going to need some extreme healing when I'm done with him."
"Jordan, your counseling session couldn’t have gone that badly." Kyle said, in confusion.
"Kyle, I know we're not exactly getting along right now, but look at what Rider did to our tiger before you start saying stupid things."
Everyone turned and looked at me. I glanced down and realized I hadn't put my top back on. If anything the bruising looked worse with the accelerated healing. "Oh shit." I muttered.
"Wolf, Kyle, and Rider. Sit!" Keb yelled.
I had to wonder if maybe he did have a bit of his father's powers because everyone sat. Almost everyone. Shock and Dash only using drones seemed to be immune.
"We're not even gone a few months and you're already trying to kill each other. Rider. I'm going to start with you, because if you don't have a good explanation you're not going to be living much longer." Shock growled.
Rider glared at Kyle and then at me.
"Don't look at them. I know they made promises, but right now you're dealing with me and I do not take abuse lightly. And make no mistake that is exactly what I saw. You know I was abused growing up so I recognize that you punched Prowl-Ar. Really hard from the looks of it."
"Yes, I did. He was refusing to listen to sense. He needed a wakeup call before my wolf and his Drake killed each other."
I heard a deep inhale and then a slow exhale. "I am not just your Wolf and Kyle is not just Tiger’s Drake. We are mates and we belong to each other. That said, what are you talking about? Just because Kyle and I aren't getting along right now doesn't mean we don't still love each other. More importantly what does our argument have to do with our Tiger?" Wolf asked.
"You two are having problems because he refuses to choose one of you as his primary mate. He's trying to love both of you equally and it is forcing you to-"
"Our argument has nothing to do with our Tiger." Kyle hissed.
"Are you really that stupid?" Dash asked, glaring at Rider. "Even I know how it works for him. He can't choose like that. Our Tiger loves each of us with everything he has. There is no balancing with him in matters of love. Making a choice like you're suggesting would mean loving one of us less than the others. He- Prowl!"
I'm not sure when I fell out of my chair or when I started crying. All I could be sure of was I hurt. Not physical pain that was blocked. No, this was like when I used to have panic attacks. Was that what was happening? Was this just a panic attack experienced without the physical component? I sort of remember saying something like it wasn't Rider's fault and I should have been a better mate before Dash carried me back to the bedroom.
***
I'm not sure how long I was out. I know I woke up enough to go to the bathroom or eat something. Someone was always with me, well not in the bathroom, they did at least give me privacy there. Considering the haze I was likely being drugged. I deserved it though, I'd been fast forwarding the game through the nights to progress faster. So they had every reason to drug me for my foolishness.
I'd probably still be asleep if I hadn't woke up enough to hear Mal and Keb arguing about Rider's punishment. I pretended to be asleep until they made a mistake and I could slip away to my private place where even Mahan couldn't track me.
It didn't take long for the drugs to wear off and my memories to return. I had to be careful with the memory of what Rider implied though. After all these years did he understand so little about me?
I pulled up Mahan's records and found they’d confined Rider to the brig, solitary confinement, for three weeks. I was confined to bed rest for a week. So it was obvious a week hadn't passed yet.
I pulled up another file and wrote in a few lines of code that would keep me hidden from Mahan, for a little while at least. He was smart and would figure out a work around once he realized what I'd done. Wouldn't help him find the hidden core room. No one could find this room. Even Tye who had been hiding in Mahan's file structure could get here. Of all the AI's Mahan was undoubtedly second only to Origin. If anyone other than myself even found this room they wouldn't be able to enter without triggering an instant jump to altered space with no exit point. I couldn't risk any advance technology, not destroyed by an explosion fall into the wrong hands.
I exited the room and started making my way through the ship's maintenance tunnels to the brig. It didn’t take long before I abandoned that idea, slipping out of the tunnels I took a lift to a nearby area and then re-entered them.
I sat in the tunnel behind the cells. They were super reinforced so there was no escape but the ventilation system could carry sound if one wanted to talk. Call me petty or smart but during the retrofit I made sure the ventilation system was updated so that no kids, foxes, sergals or even insects could get into the vents.
"You here to kill me?" Rider asked.
"No. Why would you say something like that?"
"Kyle and Wolf were discussing sending me away. That's the same thing. Besides you're the one I hurt."
"Yes, you did hurt me and I'm not going to lie it was bad."
"You're strong and you were in bull form, I figured you could take a little punch."
"I'm not talking about some physical pain. I can deal with that. No, what you said or possibly believe is worse."
"Wolf and Kyle were yelling something about that but I don't see how you choosing-"
"Stop right there. If you say more you're likely to trigger another panic attack. I'm currently cloaked from Mahan but a reaction like that will make me very evident and causing a second attack, even though I came here on my own, will make things worse. Instead let me explain."
I took a deep breath. "The reason I can't make a choice like that is because I love all of you the same."
"That's not-"
"Possible? Rider, I don't hold anything back. I love completely."
"I've read your journals. Since Wolf joined you he's become your whole world."
I laughed. "You're judging me just by what's in my journals? Rider, you should know better than that. Yeah Wolf features a lot, but that's because out of all of you he enjoys reading what I write about us. Kyle is more involved with experimenting in the kitchen. When he experiments in the bedroom he likes to keep that much more private. Shock decided that he wanted less written so he wouldn't have to explain himself all the time to his fans. Playing at being the stereotypical super slutty fox to his mates is one thing; having it written about seven isn't family friendly enough to allow him to continue his show".
"You-"
"I don't like people knowing I enjoy submitting to you, Wolf, and Kyle. So I don't feature as much except when I feel like being dominant.” Rider mumbled as he finally understood my point. “That means this whole time I've been wrong about Jordan and Kyle. What am I supposed to do now?" He asked
"Your job. Stop trying to make things fit what you think the problem is and just listen to them. I'm sure they'll tell you, if they haven't already, you just have to recognize what it is."
"Unfortunately I'll never get a chance they’re going to send me away."
"They can't. I made you a promise that you’d never be sent away. You may not remember, but I make so few promises that I'm not likely to forget. If they send you away they will be breaking my promise which is worse than causing a little panic attack. "
I shifted, I'd been sitting for too long trying to think of a way to start. "I’d better get moving before Mahan figures out a way to see through my cloak. They have you here under solitary confinement for three weeks. I'll do my best to shorten it. Still this would be a good time to go over you memories of their sessions and try to figure out what they are really angry about."
"Thank you, my mate." Rider sighed.
I smiled as I crawled down the tunnel. I hoped he could figure it out. It physically hurt thinking my mates were angry at each other.
***
It wasn't difficult getting back to the private VR chamber connected to the bedroom. My mates had even shut down the program, or so they thought. When in privacy mode they could only change what they could see. Every one of them could be in the room and see a different projection. For me it was still the mirror image of the bedroom.
"I'm telling you he isn't here. We’ve shut the projection down and you can see he isn't here." Keb growled.
"Then where is he? Mahan says the hangar hasn't been accessed but we searched up there. He also confirmed that the vault hasn't been accessed. We've searched the closets, bathroom, hell you even searched under the bed." Mal yelled.
"We know he didn't come out the main exit. Since he would have had to push past us even if he was invisible." Keb responded.
"He . . . he could have teleported." Now Mal sounded frightened. "Keb, what if he teleported in his drugged state?"
"The gem wouldn't allow that. Even if Reaper hasn't spoken to me in a couple of decades the gem is still a physical manifestation of him and now that it is bonded to me it isn't going to let me use my abilities in a way that would kill me."
"Prowl-Ar?" They asked together.
"Computer privacy mode off."
"Would you like the room visuals to remain as you see it?" The computer asked
"Let Keb and Mal see it as I see it."
They gasped as the area changed back into the bedroom.
"How?”
“I'm guessing you shut down the projection. However, with privacy mode on it the boarders of the projection shrunk to surround the bed and the rest of the room edited the image out so you would see an empty room. I'm in here because even though I prefer to have someone sleeping next to me, the two of you have been drugging me and generally smothering me. I'm guessing it's to keep me safe from something. I've still got enough drugs in my system that everything seems really fuzzy. So until that's out of my system I think I'm just going to sleep here on my own. Computer, re-engage privacy mode. Oh and adjust the floor perception so that they'll be unsure where the bed is located."
"But Tiger we were told-" Keb started to whine.
"Computer mute outside communication and let them know they were muted. I'm going back to sleep. Until I feel rested." I didn’t say it out loud but my little trip had exhausted me far more than I thought it would. I'd just blame it on the drugs.
***
The bed shifted. Not a lot, at least not as much as I'd grown used to sharing it with seven other men, just enough to know I wasn't alone.
The next thing I noticed was the little gasps and sniffles that accompanied crying. That was something I couldn't ignore. I rolled over and wrapped my arms around Kyle, as it turned out. He was in his natural form and had his front legs and paws over his face.
"I'm useless." He whimpered.
"Kyle! You are not useless."
"Yes, I am. Shock is a better diplomat and Dash was better at taking care of the kids than I was. Rider is a better fighter than I can ever hope to be. And Jordan . . ."
"Go on."
"Are you really going to make me say it?"
Since I didn't have a clue that would have to be a yes, even if it hurt. "That's right."
Wolf was supposed to be the doctor and I was supposed to cook. But he was better. He’s better at gaming, even though I was created from a game. I'm just not good enough; I don't deserve to be your mate."
"Kyle, you’ve been through things with me. Things I've told Wolf about but he hasn't experienced like you have."
"He can read your mind."
"There are places he cannot enter. When we merged that first time you learned and experienced it all. You know me; the original me, in ways no one else ever will.”
"But-"
"Next, you were never meant to be the cook. That was never your job. It is something you do because you like to. Your job is as my second in command."
Kyle waved his paw as if that didn't mean anything.
"Don't wave it off. If something happens to me what happens?"
"Wolf rushes in and saves the day."
I face palmed. "That's it, isn't it? The real problem is you're competing with Wolf. A competition he doesn't even know about, and you see him as unbeatable. Listen, this has happened in the past and you probably didn't really notice."
Kyle shifted to human form. "What do you mean?"
When something happens to me, yeah wolf rushes in to save me. But what do you do? You step up and take command. You make sure everything continues as if I'm still in charge. Wolf is too busy saving me to notice everything else. You make sure everyone is protected. As for having something no one else has; no one besides the two of us have been able to use the merge system."
"Dash-"
"Failed faster than anyone else. His program and Mahan's are completely incompatible."
"Tye or Trace?"
"Tye won't, Not with Mahan. They are too compatible and there is a risk he’ll revert to program form. Trace, won't even try. There is possibilities among our children but . . . uh . . . I . . ."
"You want them to have better lives than you did. Congratulations having experienced your life, as you pointed out, I’m the most qualified to assure you they had and have wonderful lives. Now, I think I owe Wolf a couple of apologies and an explanation."
"Hold off on that."
"Why?"
"It's what Rider said."
"Don't worry that's a topic we could all agree on. He's being punished for what he did."
"Kyle, rather than punishing him, wouldn't it be better to explain why what he said had the effect it did? I'm not sure we explained. Imagine how frightening it must have been for him. The culture he came from was programmed so differently. If he doesn’t understand that I love each of you with everything I have. Imagine believing and fearing that we will just abandon him this whole time."
"Tiger, I'm going to have Wolf come and check on you. There is something I need to take care of. Command duties, you know."
He hurried out and I relaxed again. "Two down at least one more to go."
***
I slowly woke up and growled to myself as I realized Kyle had somehow tranquilized me again. Ah well, I probably did need the sleep, and it was easier letting Kyle and Jordan work out their problems while I did so.
I yawned and stretched, my back cracking and joints snapping and popping. It was getting to be time to go see Jordan about joint regen. I'd stopped their aging in their thirties so they wouldn't need the regen as often. I'd stopped my aging in my late fifties. Sure I'd used the Evolver to age myself back a bit, but it seemed all my mates were in agreement their "Daddy Tiger" was more attractive with a little more age on me.
"Mmm, it seems the tiger is feeling young this morning."
Something wasn't right. I knew that voice and though it was only seconds to place it, which was far too long. "Luca!"
"Who else would it be? These are my quarters and this is my bed."
"No. How?"
"Last night, you stumbled in here complaining about Wolf and Kyle fighting and being sick of it. Then you begged me to, and I quote 'fuck me like the slut I am', which I did until you passed out."
"Lier.” My thoughts raced. Was he lying? If I was high enough on painkillers it might have been something I would have said. “My uniform-"
"Doesn't seem restricted here on the station any more. Now want to pick up where we left off? I'd love to try your female-"
"NO!" I yelled hurling him across the room with my telekinesis. He yelped and slumped to the floor.
"Emergency mode activated. Four broken ribs. Both lungs have been punctured." The room changed to a medical bay and 'Luca' transformed into Jordan.
I hobbled over. Right now I was taking all his pain, whether he liked it or not. He opened his mouth to say something but coughed up blood.
"Don't speak! Right now you're too injured."
"At least we now have an answer. You are completely loyal to us." Jordan thought to me.
I shook my head as I lifted him up onto the medical bed. The room could stabilize him, but He needed to be moved to the real medical bay for full healing. Mahan, contact Bad Luck, I need Dirk on board as quickly as possible."
"It's not that bad, my love."
I pressed the tranquilizer to his neck. "It's your turn to rest. Mahan! Have Kyle get up here with-"
"I've been right here the whole time. Tiger what is the safety setting on?" Kyle asked, as he removed a chameleon cloak.
"Mahan, have Keb or Mal, whichever is closer to medical, get up here with a hover bed. Kyle, this chamber has the safety system turned off."
"That's-"
"Why we only use it for fun things like sex in exotic locations and not for anything dangerous." I yelled.
"Mal is on his way. Keb is prepping the regen tube." Mahan announced.
"What were you two thinking?" I continued.
"After your little joke about sleeping with Luca, we thought we'd see how you would react if you went through with it. Not our best plan obviously, but after we worked out our problems we found we really wanted to know how you'd react to sleeping with him."
"Kyle, I'm as loyal as anyone can get. There are only two individuals I insisted be my mates, you and Wolf. Shock wanted to be our mate and we took him in because he was soul linked to us. We added Rider because he was in love with Wolf as much as we were. Shock and Dash fell in love even though it required Dash to break his programming to do so. You can't deny that we all haven't enjoyed the experiences he's had to offer since becoming our mate either."
Kyle shook a little bit but quickly nodded. "You're right about that, and I still think five years is too long to be apart from him and Shock."
"That leaves Mal and Keb and it’s difficult to deny the request of a God, especially one that bonds you with a curse."
"How did you break the curse? It's something you and Wolf have refused to talk about."
I glanced at Wolf. He was deeply asleep. "It was extremely difficult and overly simple at the same time."
"Right. Are you going to explain that?"
"To break the sex curse Keb had to tell me he loved me. No, not just tell me he had to truly love me as much as I love you and all our mates. The same for Wolf and Mal."
"And the pain . . . You had to love them as your mates didn't you?"
I glanced away. "Yes."
"Why didn't you immediately make them our mates? I mean our kids already thought of them as another set of parents."
"Because they felt guilty, and honestly so did we. Keb and I were forced into your family rather than being invited to join. Jordan and Bill needed to know the rest of you also wanted us as mates before we could become mates. Still, we didn't feel left out since you all treated us the same as your other mates even after the curses were broken. Now let's get out Wolf down to medical." Mal said, as he pulled the hover bed into the room.
"Oh so he gets to use your real name?" Kyle asked.
I blushed. "I wish he wouldn't. But it seems he and Keb learned it from Reaper so they feel entitled. But it’s not like I'm going to punish any of you for doing the same thing."
"I'll keep calling you Prowl-Ar, since that is the name you used when you were assigned to take care of me in Shinra tower."
"We need to get our mate to medical, right now." Mal hissed.
"He's stable." I said, double checking the readings to be sure.
"It's not our Wolf I'm worried about. It's that ring tail tyrant, you call a doctor. I don't know if he was always that way or if it's because he has to deal with that crew, but he is scarier than Set."
I stifled a laugh, it seemed Mal really was frightened. Kyle and I moved wolf to the hover bed and headed for medical. "Mahan, Have Rider meet us there."
"He is in confinement."
"Mahan, rescind punishment. He needs to be there, for Wolf, as much as the rest of us need to be there." Kyle ordered.
"I'm sorry but until Wolf has recovered I can't-"
"Mahan, since Wolf is injured, and I am the one that Rider wronged I'm ordering his immediate release. That's both the Commander and the Second in Command's direct orders. Do you really want to fight that?" I asked.
"Fine, Rider is on his way to medical, and moving fast I might add."
"I'm sure you can slow him down so that we get there first." I muttered.
"Understood."
***
I may have gone a bit far summoning Dirk. Wolf had mostly regenerated by the time he arrived. Honestly we were just lucky Tank decided to deviate from his course. He was working a mission for InSA, the International Space Agency, to set up a monitoring system around Neptune. We just happened to be on the way. Dirk ordered bed rest for a week to be sure the bones healed properly, which I agreed with. Though when we woke Wolf he wasn't happy. Still, I knew it took time for the nanites to rebuild the carbon nano-fibers reinforcing the bone.
I left Kyle in charge and retreated to the rarely used port side hangar. I spent the week working on my telekinesis. In all my stories my ability to move things was weak. I never used it for more than tripping someone or pulling my sword to my hand. However; my reaction to thinking I'd cheated on my mates with Luca seemed to have jump started it. And I needed to learn control so I never hurt anyone ever again.
I was getting better, but I still needed to be extremely careful since I didn't have the best control. I jumped as something made an agonizing scream. It took me a moment to get out of my own head long enough to remember that I was back in the game.
"You're a field agent and this is your first time reporting to the main headquarters, isn't it?" My escort asked.
"Yes." I said, looking around for what creature had made the noise.
"Don’t worry you get used to the noise quickly enough. I mean it's not like the objects can really feel or anything. They just mimic Pokémon or human reactions."
"Objects?" I asked.
"The morphs."
"Oh, I've never dealt with them. Well, other than dumping the pokeballs in the incinerator. Most of the time I was on patrol watching for signs of humans attempting to create morphs and recruiting humans that might find a calling as an agent."
"Recruiting and investigations? Wow, you really were on the front lines. Sure I put in the grunt work of collection and disposal as well, but then I was move here as, not to be insulting, but a glorified security guard."
"And escort. You ask me that puts you a step above the other guards. The higher ups must be considering you for a promotion."
"You think so?" He asked sounding genuinely excited at the possibility.
"They obviously trust you enough to give you free run of the facilities."
"Never thought of it that way, but you're right, I do get escort duty more often than anyone else."
Yeah, eat up the praise. The janitorial staff probably rated higher. My escort was just considered expendable. The first time he made a mistake he'd be executed. I just smiled and nodded.
"Ok, brace yourself, this isn't going to be pleasant. The Director likes to keep pokemorph trophies and it is really disturbing."
I was expecting taxidermy trophies instead there were cages on each side of the hall. Most were empty.
My escort sighed, "She’s not going to be in a good mood. It appears a large number have mass terminated again."
As we walked down the corridor the only morphs remaining were Zamazenta, Zacian, and a wolf type I didn't recognize at first. I stumbled to a stop staring at the wolf. "He shouldn't be here. That isn't a pokemorph." In fact the black and white wolf was from the Pal World.
"Good eye."
I turned at the feminine voice. "He is from an alternate world. We used a Pokémon to open a doorway to his world. We've sent a few teams through but none have returned, yet. He is an excellent test subject however. Notice how he is a morph? We made him that way. It seems its world suffers the same affliction ours does."
"You purposely make morphs here?" I asked, surprised they’d actually admit to having carnal interactions with Pokémon.
"Of course. How else can we test them? It's easier to tame a Pokémon and turn it into a morph, than it is to study morphs that were created and are loyal to others. Oh! I think I understand what you’re thinking now. We’ve come up with ways to create morphs without the physical interactions. Now, as I understand it you were the one that captured my little pet?"
"Your pet?" I asked still wondering about just how they were turning the Pokémon into morphs.
"Yes. My pet project."
"Of course. Caught, is a rather open interpretation. I had to take him off another trainer."
"Really? I hope you used discretion so there will be no problems."
"I guess you could say that. At least he won't be a problem. Alolan lava tends to be good for making problems disappear."
"You . . . Well, well. It seems you're on the fast track to becoming a high ranking member of our organization. Escort Guard, you’ve done well. I think you can return to your post, for now. I'll take care of the rest."
"Yes, Director. Thank you, Director." My escort said, before scrambling away.
"So tell me, did you kill all the agents on Alola?"
"Madam Director?"
"I admit you are good, but not good enough, at least not yet. Tell me you at least brought my test subject with you."
"The maxed Rattatta that is much smarter than he should be?"
"No denying you’re not one of our agents and plenty of confidence, or perhaps arrogance, enough to admit you know what's been done to the test subject. Fascinating."
"Really? It's a Rattatta, I'm more interested in the possibility of having the same thing done to my Pokémon team. If that means infiltrating your facility and getting it for myself, or working for you, it puts me one step closer to being the ultimate Pokémon master."
"Ah, not confidence or arrogance, you're here out of ambition. Good, I can work with ambition."
God I hoped all the explosives were almost set and the assault team was about to attack. The way the Director kept sizing me up as though I was some prize stud was uncomfortable and a bit sickening.
"Just a little longer, Love. Kyle has retrieved his Pokémon and has started planting the explosives. Once he's finished we'll start our diversion. Just do your best and stroke her ego. Be your charming self." Wolf thought to me.
I was going to have to remind him that my charm wasn't a skill I could use. It was more a matter of my feelings for my mates always being so strong that I just seemed naturally charming for them.
"Coming darling? I'd really like to give you a more comprehensive tour of the facility. Maybe we can find a good use for you talents here where I can keep you close."
"Coming." I placed a nexo trap in the corner of the Zacian's enclosure. It was cobbled together and wouldn't take long to break open. Especially considering it had two Nexomon inside. When it finally broke Inferno and Speed would be released. They would free as many Pokémon and morphs as possible as they lead the escape.
I caught up to the director. "Sorry, I just wanted to get a closer look at the shield and sword pokemorphs. I always thought they were myths, until now."
"No, they are very real. I was promised a Solgaleo, but the scientist in charge misplaced him. Still, I gave him a day to find it so you may yet get to see him as well."
"I do know that normal morphs lose their abilities when they evolve, but what about legendaries?" I asked.
"Powerless as the rest. That's one of the projects we're working on. We want to find out why they lose their abilities."
"They would make powerful soldiers if properly trained with abilities."
The director stopped and slowly turned toward me. "The plan was to study them, find out exactly how they worked, then release an airborne agent that would make pokemorphs impossible to evolve. I never considered them as a trained army. I think I should introduce you to my generals. With ideas like that, you might just be in line as my second in command."
"Really? I'd never considered that possibility. I just wanted to power up my team."
"And waste all that talent? No, I want you here."
I could see why, it seemed she'd forgotten that I wasn't one of her loyal followers. "I guess if I'm going to be in an elevated position I'm going to need to learn a lot."
"There's not much. We only have two legendary morphs and that creature from another world and you've returned our Rattatta. There maybe 50 Pokémon currently being experimented on. Four standard morphs. Well, one shortly, the other three are currently being studied."
"Seems small for a facility of this size."
"We can always create new standard morphs as we need them."
"I've seen the Rattatta's abilities, what other projects have you finished?"
"Evolution blocking. By injecting powdered everstone into a Pokémon’s system they stop evolving. Useful, but ultimately a failure since it just made lower level Pokémon morph when they leveled up. Another failure is an agent that makes all Pokémon that breath it immediately morph. It's really good to use on legendaries and Pokémon that don't evolve." She continued to rattle off failed experiments but I zoned out.
I relayed the information of the failed experiments and the Pokémon numbers. Wolf was excited by the prospect of turning all the Pokémon into pokemorphs. From what we'd seen the Pokémon received an immediate boost in intellect from the evolution which would make it easier to free them. I used my gem to contact Kyle. I had him update his mission to finding the morph agent and setting it off first.
"And finally there is Obsidian. Have you been listening?"
Thankfully I had the gem. “There are thirteen generals, Titanium, Iron, Mercury, Silver, Gold, Carbon, Bronze, Copper, Steel, Glass, Phosphorus, Tin, and Obsidian. I suppose your designation is Unobtanium?"
"No, I'm just the Director. Still, what is unobtanium?"
"A theoretical element that may exist but there is no way to create it and it is just as likely that it exists in such small amounts it can never be proven, scientifically, that it really does."
"I like it. And what about you? What would you be?"
"Hydrogen." I didn't even really think about it.
"Why the most simple element?"
"It may be simple but it is incredibly powerful since it can bond with other elements so easily." No need to explain about an atomic bomb to a terrorist organization.
"You're just full of interesting information. Yes, keeping you here at the facility is definitely the best choice. Now come and meet the generals."
"They're all here?" I asked in surprise.
"Of course. They all have their own pet projects to work on, and since you caught the escaped test subject they aren't currently needed out in the field. I'll have them come up to the main conference room."
"You hear that?" I mentally asked Wolf.
"Yes, are you thinking the best time for Rider and I to attack will be when you're all in the meeting?"
"Yes. Ask Kyle to sabotage the power and backup generators. That should lock us all in. We'll be able to take down the whole organization with a single strike."
"What about you?"
"I'll game teleport to the legendary trophy hall to make sure those three have escaped and then I’ll escape."
_ _
"Can we modify that plan?"
_ _
"It's a good plan though."
_ _
"True, but Inferno and Speed have already rescued the Direhowl, Zamazenta and Zacian."
_ _
"Then I can teleport all the way out."
"You need to get everyone out though. I know you will kill if you have to, but you're not a killer. Just keep them busy until Kyle is finished and then get them out of the complex before it explodes. Don't worry, I have a plan to deal with your new friends once they are out. Just be really careful." Wolf insisted.
_ _
"I will be, Love." I'm not sure what was going to be more difficult stalling the generals, or waiting to discover what Wolf had planned.

"Director, as your top general I insist he be tested before you make him your second in command." Gold yelled, slamming his hands on the table. "I bet he doesn't even have trained Pokémon of his own."
I grinned and pulled my pokeball belt from my backpack. "Bring it loud mouth. I bet you're as soft as your designation."
"Oh yeah? I am the type master! Combusken, go."
I didn't bother saying anything. Instead I rolled my eyes and released Arty. Not even a fully evolved Pokémon on the first toss? What an amateur. I sat down and put my feet up on the table.
"What are you doing? That isn't the way to battle. At least send out a useful Pokémon." Gold yelled.
I shrugged and pointed at his unconscious chicken. "I've trained my team to fight using their own skulls and abilities. I don't need to command them, they know what to do."
"Seviper, go! Use vine whip!"
The whip shriveled and burst into flames as the Seviper went down to Arty’s flamethrower. "Two down, give up yet?"
"Oshawatt!"
He was quick and Arty took some damage but vine whip took out the water type. “That's half your team gone."
"Joltik go."
"Really?" I didn't even think about it until the whole facility started shaking from Arty's earthquake. I hope the explosives hadn't been activated. "Two left." I said as I spun my seat around as though I didn’t have a care in the world. I received an alert that he was sending out a Corviknight. "Arty, return. Zero, your turn." My lightning cat made short work of the dark bird.
Gold moved the fast ball from hand to hand trying to decide something. "Go Wigglytuff and terastallize!" the Pokémon crystalized and grew a crystal flower.
"So you've finally gotten terastallization to work in any region? I am impressed, Goldy."
"Kyle is ready and the building has been emptied except for you group." Wolf whispered in my mind.
"Zero, return. Let's finish this off. Go Tatter."
"Put him to sleep!" The Wigglytuff began to sing.
Even I was beginning to get drowsy but Tatter was unaffected. His first attack was low kick.
"You, tamed and trained my experiment?" The director yelled.
"Tatter return. Sorry to start a fight and run but all the explosives set up on the lower levels makes continuing this fight foolish." I yelled running for the door and seemingly passing right through it with shadow step.
The Director and all the generals were chasing me within moments so that worked well. I ran into an intersection and turned left, the way we had come in, except half of the general's went right. That meant we hadn't traveled the most direct route.
"Hey director! Just so you know, all that flirting was wasted. I'm only interested in my husbands." I yelled, just to motivate them to continue following.
"When we catch you I'm going to experiment on you until you are a loyal servant!" She yelled.
"Oh, my husbands wouldn’t like that. No, they wouldn’t like that at all. I bet they would turn you into a Pokémon breeding bitch in order to turn as many Pokémon into morphs as possible." I was approaching the hall where the legendaries were held; except the door slid open and I was trapped between the two groups. I grinned and glanced at the director. "I'll be waiting outside. I suggest you move fast. I'm betting my husband set a short timer knowing how easily I can escape." I stepped out of the game as a teleport action and back in again next to Wolf.
"It took you long enough." He grumbled.
I was going to complain, but I immediately realized he was joking. "You know me, I'm a cat so I have to play with my prey. So what's your big plan?"
Wolf pointed down into the facility as the general's came running out. Their troops forming up and everyone with their lead Pokémon out running with them. "Update your headset display, you'll see the projected blast radius line in red. The orange line is the minimum safe distance line and the yellow line is where I put my plan into action. Brace yourself they’re passing the orange line now. Kyle, they are all across detonate now."
There was a loud thud and a medium earthquake it didn't seem to faze our attackers. However if they'd looked back they would have seen the lab collapse into a massive hole.
"Activating second charge now." Kyle yelled.
This time the pyrotechnics were more obvious and some turned to look back.
"Main force crossing engagement line call your first Pokémon." Rider yelled.
I didn't check I just grabbed a ball and activated it. Dagger was immediately at my side.
"Rider, activate phase one!" Wolf ordered.
Rider threw a canister over the generals and his Terrakion blasted it with a rock. The gas cloud covered the attackers then washed over us. All my pokeballs busted and my Pokémon started to evolve. Within moments we were surrounded by pokemorphs.
"Hey Director, we appropriated one of your experimental weapons. You might not have noticed but all your Pokémon are now pokemorphs with no special abilities."
"Fool! All you've done is increase our numbers!" The Director yelled, back as most of the group continued their charge.
"How many of you pokemorphs are going to continue fighting for the ones that have been killing you all this time?"
"I order all of you to continue the charge!" The Director yelled. Though nearly all the morphs has stopped.
"You haven't realized it yet have you?" Kyle yelled. “Wolf here is a doctor and scientist. He modified your weapon. Within the week this region will only contain pokemorphs. Within the year Pokémon will be extinct."
"Kyle, don't spoil things. Director, guess what? You’re not the only one that's been studying pokemorphs. There was a snap and a hiss of escaping gas as Wolf lobbed another canister at the attackers. "This one is my own pokemorph weapon." There was an explosion as everyone started to run. "Everyone shift." Wolf said, just loud enough for us to hear.
I shifted to my bull form. I don't know why, maybe it was because it was biggest and I wanted the Director jealous of what she couldn't have. But as the gas cleared the Director was gone.
Wolf laughed. "As our husband was saying, not only will Pokémon on this world be extinct, but so will humans. Welcome to the age of the morph. As you might have guessed that one changes humans into pokemorphs. Now if you rebuild and get to work you might be able to save or change the Pokémon; however since my weapon uses components from multiple realms you can't change morphs back to being human. Enjoy your new reality."
I just stared. Even I hadn't considered changing everyone into morphs. It was . . . well it was a completely bloodless genocide.
"You think that's impressive?" Wolf asked.
"Not exactly what I had in mind." I mumbled.
“I have some things I need to tell you, but not here, let’s get back to House. I sent Inferno and Speed back as soon as they got here. I wasn’t sure how the gasses might affect them. Oh, any of you morphs that we trained who wish to remain with us can come along as well. House, open portal."
I was tired and confused so for once I went through first. My team all followed me. I shifted back to human and flopped down on the grass. I stared up at the sky. “You all know that by following me like this you've given up your freedom and made yourselves my slaves?"
"I basically did that when I tricked you into capturing me." Tatter said, flopping down beside me.
"I don't mind. I’d been caught and released more times than I can remember because a trainer wanted to complete their pokedex but didn't want a useless Pokémon. However you understood how versatile my abilities could be, though I guess that's all gone now." Arty said, slumping into a seated position.
"Come on, you only lost your combat abilities. Now you can focus on your creative abilities, like painting." I replied.
"That's why we're staying with you. You care about our feelings. We were never weapons to be used, you treated us as companions." Dagger said, as he lay on his back with his head on my shoulder.
The rest soon joined him. I noticed that Rider's team had joined him and both of Kyle’s teams had grouped around him. Along with the Zamazenta, Blitzel, Rapidash, and Pyroar.
Wolf finally came through with his team, and the Zacian, Direhowl, Kadabra, and a Gengar. He stared at the portal until it closed. He led his team over to mine.
“I really thought I'd convince another one to join us but I guess I failed that time. It means I'm still with an odd number. Why does this keep happening to me?" Wolf asked.
"Because it means more adventures for us." I replied. "Now come on, we had a busy day already just find a nice place and lets all have a nice nap. House, we're just going to relax for a while, so no need to alert Mika just yet."
"Very well Sir. I do wish to inform you that the shield has now extended to the beach. With a few more residents the shield will be at its maximum; extending to the outer reef."
"The saltwater lagoon?" Wolf asked.
"It is currently inside the shield." House answered.
"Unlock the small tunnel and let Bold and Timid know how to get to the lagoon. We’ll make opening the main doors an event later." I ordered.
"Will you be getting up to show them the way?"
"No House, Tiger is going to stay right here and get some sleep with the rest of us. Doctor's orders." Wolf said.
"Understood. I will increase ultraviolet blocking protection in that area."
"Thank you House." Wolf replied.
I yawned. "There was something you were going to tell me Love?"
"It can wait. Nap now."
I just nodded and quickly fell asleep.
***
I woke suddenly. Jordan was calling for me! I was scared. None of my mates had ever tried to wake me. Things usually took care of themselves while we slept.
"My love, don't get upset you’ll wake the rest of our mates." Wolf said, directly into my mind.
"What's wrong?" I thought back.
"There is something I need to tell you . . . well showing you would probably be easier. Will you come with me to my lab?"
I carefully extricated myself and followed Wolf out of VR. We walked silently together, I tentatively took his hand and interlocked our fingers.
"Are you alright, my Tiger?"
"I don't know. It's . . . I love you."
"I love you too, but what brought this on? You're not usually so . . ." He paused and I could feel him having a look around my mind. "You want more children? Love, don't get my hopes up unless you really mean it."
"Sorry, it's just . . . I don't mean . . ." I sighed. "I still think we need to let our own children have lives of their own before we start our next family. It's just, so . . . different."
Jordan smiled. "I think I understand you're thinking about adoption. Like with Rin and D’artagnon. Someone that needs a safe place to belong."
I felt like crying. Kyle and Shock could feel what I was through our soul bond as could Keb to a lesser extent, but Jordan could understand me. "I had one of my dreams." I mumbled.
He stopped and turned toward me. "How bad?" He asked pulling me into a hug.
“It was different. I didn't see one possible future, it was three."
"Really? This is new. Please tell me."
I swallowed. My mouth was suddenly dry. "Fenrir takes in a young boy. I'm not sure of his age. Rider diagnoses him with regression. He acts younger than he is because it is easier to hide from emotional pain. His family abandoned him. I don't know why as he never speaks about his past. This is where the three possible paths diverge. In the first Fenrir tries to place him with families on the colony. It never works and ultimately he finds a way to take the long walk."
Wolf shuddered.
"In the second, a placement is found but it isn't ideal. The boy's health isn't monitored and again he dies. It is listed as an eating disorder but it seems to be loneliness"
I sighed, the last one is perhaps the hardest to deal with."
"You're telling me there's no hope for him?"
I felt like crying. "For him, maybe. For us it isn't so clear. "Fenrir is worried that the boy needs special care and asks us to take him in. We agree, however he imprints on me. I don't really know why he just does. Eventually he becomes so possessive that it creates a rift between us. All of us. Eventually it's just me and him. I- I could never find a way to reverse the regression. But, as much as I care for him and want to be there for him he isn't you or any of our mates. I couldn't help him and I- lost the ones I needed most. I couldn't go on. I edited a memory crystal so that a version of me could be brought back then-"
I was pushed up against the wall "You made a promise."
"You all left-"
"You. Made. A. Promise. You don't go back on that. If Fenrir contacts you. You will take the boy in. Because of your visions we know what to watch for. We just have to work at it so he imprints on all of us and not just you. Remember, most of your premonitions are just that, warnings so that we know how to change things so they work out. Now come on. You need to see what I've been working on. It’ll take your mind off this."
***
I looked around Wolf's lab. This was his private space. I couldn’t remember the last time I'd been here. Or if I'd been here at all since he had made it his own.
There was a tank filled with a thick gray sludge. As I got closer two eyeballs pushed against the glass to stare at me. I say stare but it wasn't like it could blink.
"Don't get close. That is a failed experiment that I haven't found a way to safely dispose of." Wolf said.
"What is it?"
"A recycling slime. I designed it to consume plastics in sea water to help clean up the environment. It would then extrude the consumed plastic as rods that could be easily collected and then used in new plastic products."
"It failed?"
"No it worked too well. It consumes plastics sure, but also anything carbon based. If it ever escaped it would turn the Earth into a silicone wasteland devoid of life. The problem is it is unstable and adaptable. When I try to dispose of it, it either incorporates the chemicals or develops a tolerance. At this point if anyone finds a black hole close enough I'll fire it into it and hope the gravity well will destroy it, or contain it at the least."
Let out a slow breath, I really needed to keep a closer eye on what Wolf was doing in his spare time. "And what you wanted to tell me about? I hope it isn’t as scary as that thing."
"Don't worry, I’ve been working on this project much longer and it is somewhat safer."
"What is it?"
Wolf set a small canister with a blue label on the bench. “This is the serum you use to make a person a shifter."
"Wolf, that isn't something to be playing with."
He set a second canister beside the first. This one had a green label. "This is the same thing only in gas form and concentrated."
“Why would you do that?"
“The gas has been introduced to all colonies and Earth."
"What? I hope you're joking."
"Dash released it on the synth colonies last week to make sure every human has it in their system." He set a third canister on the bench this is-"
"Wolf, it won't work. The activator has to be attuned to each furry otherwise-"
"If Earth ever threatens us again. This will be released. The fursonas will be completely random but the human species will be extinct and everyone will be shifters."
"The pokemorph transformation; that was a simulated test, wasn't it?" I asked.
"Yes, the last one I needed to be sure this would work. It's a last measure weapon. One that doesn't require you to kill anyone. I know you still have nightmares about being responsible for the civilization crashes. If it comes down to having to use it, this one is on me." Wolf smirked, something I didn't see very often, "Besides its better than sending everyone in the world a cookie gram composed of Kyle's experimental cookies."
I closed my eyes and bit my lip I wasn't going to laugh. I wasn't going to laugh.
“You don't have to laugh I can see and feel it."
I couldn't hold it back any longer and I laughed. I laughed so hard I couldn't breath and when I finally caught my breath I continued laughing until I started choking. I was starting to lose my vision. I was going to laugh myself to death then Wolf took over and even though I was still laughing mentally he was breathing for me, "It wasn't that funny." Echoed in my mind.
"Maybe not, but it was something I needed. Probably for longer than I know." I thought back.
***
We talked for some time after that. Wolf assuring me that he's accounted for the risks of everyone being shifters by making the second formula so that everyone would be form locked to anthro form. He also programmed the release codes into Mahan and had him then scramble them and recode them so that it would require all of us to agree to use the weapon.
There wasn't any way to encode the weapon for species choice so that would be completely random. However my individual activation formula was still effective and it could be set for species choice.
I carefully leaned back on the bench by the fountain looking out at our sleeping pokemorphs. The game was still paused. Rider and Kyle were sound asleep in the mix. They hadn't done much more than roll over while we'd been gone. Wolf lay partially across my chest. He had also fallen back asleep. He was exhausted and I chalked it up to the stress of finally telling me about his little project. My shirt was a bit damp where he had drooled a little in his sleep.
I'd never tell him he'd done so, just as I wouldn't mention I loved the fact that he could be so relaxed with me. Besides he was so damn cute when he slept. He still had nightmares. Some weren't so bad and I let them play out. The mind needed to work through such things. But some. . . I couldn't help but slip in and help him with. Mostly the ones where he believed something bad had happened to one of his mates, usually me, or the kids.
The nightmare that hurt the most was the one where he had been attacked. The dream always played out with him believing that our lives together had been a fantasy his mind had created as he was dying and at any moment he would be dead and all his happiness would be stripped away. That one I stepped in. Reminding him that I was his and he was mine and death would not separate us. If Reaper tried I'd make sure whatever punishment had been placed on him that kept him from communicating with me would be minor in comparison.
I was tired and I knew I should sleep since we'd need all our energy in order to settle our new slaves.
"Sleep, Love. We're safe and you don't need to worry about anything." Wolf whispered.
I smiled and ran my fingers through is fur. I was about to tell him how much I lived him when he continued.
"I don't drool, that's a dog thing."
"It's also a human thing."
"Sleep, Daddy Tiger."
***
I yawned and stretched. Wolf was over next to his pokemorphs; seemingly getting them organized.
"Would you like me to send for Mika? He is currently in the kingdom. Even with the larger facilities they are having difficulty keeping up with the influx of people arriving for the election." House stated.
"No, I'm sure I’ll do fine. However, you might have Sol join us."
"He is already here."
"Master Prowl, how do you get used to House always being there but not being there at the same time?" Sol asked, as he sat down.
"Years of practice." I laughed.
"Is that?" The Solgaleo morph jumped up and ran toward Wolf and the new morphs. "Dark! Is that really you?"
"Solgaleo? You're here? We thought . . ."
"No! Don't cry. I'm perfectly fine. The dragon stole me away and brought me here. I . . . I may have misjudged him if he rescued you as well."
"Actually I was rescued by Master Prowl-Ar's slaves, though I decided I wanted Master Wolf to be my trainer once I was free."
"Really? I chose him as well!"
"Wolf, when you get organized bring your slaves over here. I don't feel like getting up." I yelled.
The two I'd been eavesdropping on rushed over. "Master Prowl-Ar, before I can be placed with another mate I want you to put Dark and I together." Sol insisted.
"Don't you think that is something you should ask your primary master?"
"Its fine, I was going to put him with Zacian but my Sword here isn't interested in any one. It seems he's looking for just the right individual and no one fits him yet. That means we're going to need to find him a mate elsewhere." Wolf said, as he arrived with the rest of his morphs.
"We did expect to have to find another slave for one. I guess if the others paired up easily then it all works out."
"Okay, each of you introduce yourselves so Master Prowl-Ar can get you registered. Keep in mind that you need to be registered as my slaves due to the fact we travel to other worlds and if you aren't registered you can be taken and sold. Trust me you're not going to find better masters than us."
"Love, you know all slave masters probably say that. Don't give me that look. I know you're telling the truth and your Pokémon likely know your style from their training, but I'm sure they'll be much more relaxed after meeting with our other slaves."
"Okay, you win that one." Wolf smiled, sat down beside me, leaned against my shoulder and whispered, "You win this time but don't expect me to admit that every time."
"Never, my Love."
"Excuse me, if we can get started. I am a Kadabra and Master Wolf has named me Spock, though I don't know what that means."
"He named you after a great man devoted to science and logic who would do anything to protect his friends."
"I'm not sure it fits my type. However, given I no longer have my abilities perhaps it will give me a new path of study."
"Hi, I'm Kirk, Spock's Gengar mate. I'm not sure how to feel about the change into a morph. I believed it wasn't possible for my kind but here I am with a solid body. Well mostly solid. As you can see I'm still surrounded in dark clouds and if I concentrate real hard I can pass through objects."
"You can? I may have to . . ." Wolf trailed off. "I was going to say study him, but given what they've been through now probably isn't the best time to say something like that." He thought to me.
I smiled at the Gengar but replied mentally to Wolf. "You're the smart one here." I thought back. "Okay Spock and Kirk, I have you registered. Please join Sol and Dark. Once I've finished registering the rest of Master Wolf's pokemorphs, he'll take you to get cleaned up. I'm sure everyone wants to get that laboratory smell off."
"Hello Master Prowl-Ar." The Typhlosion held out his hand to shake. As I took it I noticed he was very careful and even dainty with his claws. "Master Wolf named me Vulcain."
"It is good to meet you Vulcain."
"I'm his mate, Sulu the Toxtricity. Don't bother asking me to play anything, not an amp of musical talent. However if you need someone to fight a duel just give me a rapier and I'll cut anyone down to size even if they Gigantamax."
I glanced at Vulcain.
"What can I say? Sometimes opposites do attract."
"Yeah! I love my blazing bundle of fur."
"I'm Worf, a Baxcalibur."
"Hello Worf." I waited for him to say more.
"Don't mind him. He's a Pokémon of few words. I'm his mate the Ferligatr Montgomery. I suppose we were named after great men as well?"
"Worf was a great warrior and Montgomery was a mechanic."
"Mechanic? How does one become great as a mechanic?”
“He was known as a miracle worker because he could keep things running against the greatest of odds."
"Hmm, I'll have to think on that." Montgomery replied.
"I like my name." Worf stated.
I felt Wolf suppressing a laugh. "Seems someone has been watching some of the old science fiction series." I thought at him.
"Of course. I wanted to know more about your starship collection out at the junkyard and a lot of those ships are from those series." Wolf thought back.
"I wasn't criticizing you. I think it's really cute." I replied.
"Um, masters, are you alright?" The Leafeon morph asked.
"We're fine. I . . . I'm sort of like a psychic type and I can communicate with others without speaking. It's just that sometimes when concentrating too hard we sort of look strange."
"I don't know about strange. It just looked like you were really in love and only had eyes for each other." The Keldeo morph giggled.
"This is Phyl and Kell, the shyest members of my team."
"Not to worry, a lot of the slaves here used to be shy. But with all the love and support they have grown out of it. Not that I'm saying you have too. I mean-"
Wolf laughed. "Careful, my Tiger, you're going to bite your tongue if you keep that up."
"I am Arthur, the sword Pokémon. I would like my sword returned."
"I told you it is safe in the armory. We are on an island and the only ones here are trusted. Because you are now a morph you don't require having your sword with you at all times. However, when we travel you will have your sword with you." Wolf lectured.
"I understand, Master. It's just that I feel naked without-"
"Then you're just like everyone else. Everyone, except when traveling to other worlds, on this island are naked." I stated.
The Zacian sighed but didn’t comment.
"Okay everyone, let’s go get you cleaned up and ready to explore the island."
Rider approached with his pokemorphs. "I'll go next since it is going to take Kyle some time. So after we had our teams I did some research in order to name mine, though they might not be very creative."
"I'm Rage!" The Primeape yelled.
Rider shrugged, "Yeah, he yells everything. We're working on that."
"This my mate Terror!" He yelled pulling the Terrakion close.
"Actually my name is Terrox." While not yelling his voice was loud as well. Maybe we'd settle them on the outer part of the island where they could be as loud as they liked.
"Okay, Rider take them over by the fountain while the others get their turn."
He sighed, obviously knowing I didn't want them yelling while I was entering information.
"Hello Master Prowl-Ar, I am Kojin the Entai god of fire and this is my mate Raijin the Raikou god of thunder."
"Not really gods anymore now that we have no powers." Raijin said.
"I don't know, you still look rather godly if you ask me." I said.
Kojin laughed, "I like you. You're a good human."
"Careful Kojin, you might injure yourself praising a human like that." The Suicune behind him laughed.
"Oh shut up Suijin." Kojin growled.
"Come on Kojin, you know little brother is just trying to make you angry."
"Raijin! You weren't supposed to let them know that!"
"What, that you three are brothers? You'll find multiple mated pairs here are siblings, so don't worry about it." I said, as I made a quick note for the records.
"I'm Ferrox, the Cobalion, and Suicune's mate. I'm not sure what else to say."
"That's enough you can all join Master Rider and he'll take you in where you can wash up and tell you about the rules."
Ferrox nodded and they all followed where Wolf had gone.
Kyle soon joined me. "Okay, I know it's my own fault, but I never imagined how difficult it would be having so many new slaves to deal with at once. And those last three were unexpected. Sure I helped them escape the facility but I never imagined they would join my slaves."
"Well, I think this puts you ahead of Wolf for the moment."
Kyle waved his hand in a dismissive gesture "I'm over that. I was just being stupid. Sure I thought I should be entitled to more slaves than anyone except you since I was the second one to join the game but that isn't the point. The point of the game is providing a safe place for our slaves to learn and grow. The sex is just a bonus."
I rolled my eyes. "If it wasn't for the fact my mates keep me well drained I'd disagree with you."
"Hey, we fill you back up as well."
I glared at Kyle as he laughed at me. "Anyway, I told them to pair up on their own and then come and inform us when they are ready. Though I have to wonder about your team."
I glanced over and noticed my six pokemorphs were still asleep. Not even bothered by the noise. Except for perhaps Tatter, his whiskers twitched and ears swiveled with the conversations of Kyle's group. He was a smart one pretending to be asleep but taking in everything.
"It isn't surprising. The last week I was training them really hard to get their levels up, then the little skirmish with a boss. They deserve a little extra rest. I'll even give them extra time since it's going to take a while for your group to get the first cleaning done with only four stalls."
"Lord Prowl-Ar, Obviously you didn't notice but there are eight stalls now. I needed to upgrade as the first group grew up a bit and more facilities were needed." House informed us.
"Thank you House, though even with eight stalls it is going to take Kyle's group some time."
"Of course, my Lord. Wolf is wondering what his group should do once they finish bathing."
"Drying, brushing, oiling, and whatever little things will make his slaves feel clean and happy. Then they can all just relax until my group has finished. After that we'll show them around the island."
"I shall inform him at once." House said, before disappearing.
"Who was that? I bet with his ability he'd make a really good criminal." The Persian asked.
"Thief, House is the guardian of this realm. It would be a good idea not to make him angry. Oh and no taking what isn't yours. You're not a Pokémon anymore so that habit is no longer acceptable." Kyle said.
"Hello again Thief, It's been a long time."
"You were Master's companion when he was first starting out. What happened to you and your team?"
"I fell through a rift, much like Kyle. I'm not sure what happened to my team but they weren't with me when I arrived in the next realm. That's not to say I didn't find both an Arcanine and a Luxray morph on my first return to your realm."
"I hope they found new homes."
"So do I." I said, doing my best to sound sad.
"So you and the Boltund Fetch are together?" Kyle asked.
"Yeah! Thief is funny and cute, and smells like sunlight and darkness and cute. He is all light and dark and strange and cute."
"Fetch, he gets it, you think I'm cute. What can I say? I think he's interesting and he worships me. What more do I need?" Thief asked.
"A ball! If you had a ball to throw you would be perfect." Fetch said, quickly.
"Okay, enough of that. Go relax next to the fountain and give others a chance." Kyle directed.
"Seems Fetch retained a lot more canine characteristics after he became a morph." I communicated to Kyle through my gem.
"Maybe, but all that energy is something to envy." he replied.
"Master Kyle, I think Slam and I are best suited for each other." Charm said, as the Swampert peered from behind his back. "He's shy, much like I used to be and, well, it just feels right."
"You certainly evolved into a strong Charizard. I remember when you were scared of a little Growlithe." I grinned at the way he blushed.
"I never did anything like that. Master what did you tell him?"
"He was there remember? Prowl-Ar had a Growlithe and a Shinx. They traveled with us for a while and then he disappeared. It seems he ended up falling through a portal into another world."
"Charm was shy like me?" Slam asked.
Kyle laughed, "Indeed he was."
Charm let out an "oomph" As he was tightly hugged from behind. "We'll just go join Thief and his mate, I think." Charm gasped, as he waddled away still tightly held by Slam.
"Master named me Bones and this is my chosen mate Persuasion." The Houndoom said, and then motioning to the Liepard. They then headed over to join the group by the fountain.
"Men of few words it seems." I mumbled.
"Yeah, even as Pokémon they didn't make much noise instead letting their actions speak for them. Careful though, Bones is hyper protective of everyone he sees as a pack or team member. Including his trainer.
"So, you're Kyle’s mate. Tell me why should we call you masters when you are so much weaker than us?" The Tauros asked.
"Back down now. I have no doubt you're strong, but I'm stronger and better trained." I growled.
"Hey Crim, get this, the human thinks he's stronger than us."
"It's Crimnl, not Crim get that through your thick skull, Charger. If he says he's stronger then it would be wise to take him at his word until proven otherwise." His Krookodile companion said.
"You're right. Fight me puny human." Charger bellowed.
He wasn't even looking at me, as if he didn't consider me a threat. I shifted to bull form and the Krookodile’s eyes widened as I grabbed Charger's arm, flipped him up and slammed him onto his back on the grass. I dropped on his prone form, my balls resting on his large nose. "Get a good sniff now and realize you are going to be smelling them a lot as you’ll often be using your tongue to make sure I'm good and lubed. I make you my heifer and from now on you-"
"Enough!" Kyle roared. "Tiger, be careful you don't break your own rules. Charger, you'd better show more respect to your masters or I will seriously consider making you a steer with my own claws."
"Wow" Crimnl said, as he helped Charger up. "You really made an ass of yourself there." He led the dazed Tauros toward the fountain.
"Hello Master Prowl-Ar, I'm Ribbon and this is my chosen mate Noir." The Sylveon stated happily.
"Yeah, what he said." The Umbreon grumbled.
"Noir, I apologized for leaving you behind, but I didn't have much choice. Of all my Pokémon I knew you had the best chance of escaping and remaining hidden. As it was, I was only away for a few minutes." Kyle explained.
"You're just lucky I like Ribbon, otherwise I might have switched masters when I changed."
"But you're not going to because you think I'm too cute to risk losing." Ribbon interrupted.
"It doesn't really matter that much. After all I, and my mates, are all your Masters. Now join the others over by the fountain." I ordered.
"I really don't know what his problem is. I think Drake is a wonderful master." The Infernape said, as he and a Flygon came up to us next.
"Salvo, we're supposed to introduce ourselves not interfere with our comrades conversations. Hello Master Prowl-Ar, I'm Buzz and this is Salvo."
"I think you are our first insect type slave." I said, in surprise.
"I can understand that. Most bug types like to stick together but in every way that counts I'm much more dragon than bug. If you know what I mean." He gestured toward his genital slit.
"By Arceus, I'm sure he knows what you mean Buzz, no need for the excessive display. Now come on, the sooner we join the others we'll be able to start training our new forms." Salvo said, as he dragged the Flygon along like a limp balloon.
"I'm Fleet the Blitzel and the Rapidash trying to look above it all is my mate Stallion. As strange as it may seem we were, um, together before being captured for experimentation."
"We followed Master Drake since he was the one that got us out of the labs and because, that world never seemed to fit us." Stallion said.
"Enough talking I'm sure Master Kyle wants to move on to getting us settled." Zamazenta said, as he gently directed Fleet and Stallion toward the fountain. I was named Gawain and this Pyroar, King, is the mate I've chosen."
"Good day Master, as I understand it you're the one that planned our escape. I must say, looking over our new home it is much more impressive than we would have found in our original regions." King said, cheerfully.
"So did my brother actually choose a mate?" Gawain asked.
"No, it's going to take some time to find the right individual." I replied.
"I'm not surprised. Ah well, not my problem anymore. Come on King."
"It was nice to meet you Master Prowl-Ar." King said as Gawain, pulled him along.
Damn, I guess that means I need to get up and start getting my group cleaned out and cleaned up." Kyle said, as he got up. "Have a nice nap with your team knowing I'm working my tail off.
"Sounds like a good plan to me. Have fun."
"You too."
"Yeah, right."
I smiled as he started to lead his group inside. He may have acted grumpy but all that was coming through the link was excitement. "And remember, no sex for twenty-four hours after taking the medication." That curbed the excitement real quick.

Once I was alone I started filling in the extra information on the forms. For the most part it was just copy and pasting to each file explaining their age. After all, all of them having the same birthday and it only being one day needed a lot of explanation.
Then their special abilities. While they had lost their battle skills there were still physical traits that needed explanation. Such as the dark haze that surrounded Kirk, Spock could probably still teleport, Charm still had the flame at the end of his tail etc. Just little things that made all of them different and perhaps much more dangerous compared to normal anthros.
I jumped a bit at the feeling of hands on my shoulders but quickly relaxed as they started to work my muscles.
"You seem tense, Master. Is there something wrong?" Tatter asked.
"No, not really. It just takes concentration to fill out all this information."
"Can’t you just copy most of it from the Pokedex?"
I sat in mild shock. I should have thought of something like that. Making edits to the Dex entries would be easier that writing full explanations for each species of pokemorph. "Tatter, you really are a lot smarter than you should be."
"Yeah, I know. It is a real annoyance at times though. Especially when I was just a Rattatta and I couldn’t convince you to become my trainer. If you don't mind my saying it, there is something special about you and I could sense it even then. I just . . . Why didn't you want me? Was it because you thought I was weak?"
"No, I'm just not a huge fan of your species evolution. Of course I didn't know about the everstone they injected you with permanently keeping you a Rattatta."
"Is that what it was? I went out every night fighting wild Pokémon trying to get stronger and evolve so that you would accept me and there was never a chance that I would evolve? Not that it really would have mattered since that evolution was the reason you wouldn't tame me. It's kind of funny once I think about it."
"Maybe a little. I presume you were listening to everything as I was registering the others?"
"Yes. I- I don't suppose it would be possible to choose you as my partner?" Tatter asked, as he continued to work my stress tightened muscles.
"I think my mates would have a bit of a problem with it."
"You have three, what is one more?"
"Ah, you've only met three. Wolf, Kyle, and Rider. I have two more mates, Keb and Mal, somewhere around here keeping an eye on everyone. They've, so far, chosen not to be masters. They had once been slaves in another realm so they prefer to be more approachable than masters here."
"So there is a chance?"
"Plus I have two mates on a special mission in another realm. Shock is a master and has slaves here on the island. He does pop in from time to time, and Dash. I guess you'd see him as a steel dragon type. He is also undecided whether or not to be a master, but as you can see I already have a lot of mates."
"You know, you're not convincing me?"
"How about this, you deserve a mate of your own and I know you and Riven have already paired up."
"That- I mean-"
I laughed a little at Tatter's loss for words. With my enhanced senses it wasn't that difficult to smell sex on them.
"Uh sure we had some fun, but that was before. Now, I don't know if he'll feel the same about me."
"Becoming a morph means a lot of changes, but it doesn't change who you are and how you feel. I'm sure Riven is likely as scared as you are giving his timid nature."
"So, we're all likely to stay paired up the same way we were when Pokémon?
"All?" I hadn't noticed my other Pokémon pairing up. Only Riven, my Buizel, and Tatter.
"Yeah, Dagger and Arty are together. Maybe you missed the little sketches of Chien Pao with hearts the Smeargle left at every campsite?"
"I admit I missed that. It's not like smelling sex on you and Riven."
"We washed off, besides humans can't smell-"
I shifted to tiger form and Tatter scrambled back. "You're a Ditto!"
"No, my mates and I are shifters. We have forms other than human but unlike a ditto they are restricted. I'm sure eventually you'll get to know us in all forms. I usually stick to human form since people underestimate me. Master Kyle prefers his dragon form, Wolf is most often in his wolf form, and Rider sticks to his saber form."
"Saber form?"
"He's from a species similar to the Chien Pao."
"I see."
"I guess that leaves Zero and Ace?"
"You sound surprised." I glanced up at the Cinderace. Only to find my whole team awake and around me.
"Perhaps a little, considering you two seemed to hate each other."
Zero the Zeraora laughed. "That was all to keep you from realizing we were together. Unlike Tatter and Riven slipping off for a little 'swim' you would have noticed our more human like forms doing things. So we acted like we hated each other to keep from embarrassing you or ourselves in public."
"No need to worry about that here. Unless we have special guests you're free to be with anyone you want as often-"
"You told Master Kyle to remember no sex for twenty four hours." Tatter interrupted.
"Right, sorry about that. I should say you're free to enjoy each other once you're settled in. The first step was the registration process we just completed. Next up you have to take a medicine that will cause you to need to clean out your system. Um, like eating to many of a single type of berry."
Everyone groaned.
"The drug also removes all parasites from your system, not that Pokémon have any. It also modifies you, don't look scared, it makes you immune to most diseases you'll encounter when traveling with us to other realms. However during the time it is making the changes it can be really dangerous having anyone else’s fluids in you, if you get what I mean. That’s why everyone has to wait that same amount of time when they join us here."
"How many slaves do you have?" Dagger asked.
“I need to do a count, but I know there are over a hundred now."
"And we'll be able to, uh, be with any or all of them at some point." Riven squeaked.
"Well, yes but remember both you and they have to be willing. Force isn't allowed unless that is something you enjoy and even then you need to set up such encounters ahead of time so that both individuals know what to expect."
Tatter laughed. Don't worry, cutey, I'm sure eventually we'll get a chance for you to taste every delight on offer."
"T-t-t-tatter! M-m-master doesn't n-need to know that!"
"Don't worry Riven that's sort of why my mates and I have this place. It's to help those that need it, but also so we can experience what different species have to offer. Now let's go in and start getting cleaned up. Kyle's group should be on to the next step by now.
