This was a commission done for TheCorgiCommander, building off an idea from a picture he had commissioned. Collin is a young man enjoying a camping trip by himself when he has an interesting encounter with a wolf.

The young wolf’s nose twitched as it picked up a strange scent. He was in a search for some territory and a mate, having recently left his pack. He was cautious of this strange scent, but still investigated it. It led the wolf to a small circle of trees. He sniffed around the trees, but there were no scent markings of any kind. His ears snapped forward, hearing some kind of sound coming from inside the circle of trees.

Slowly he walked into the small clearing inside. The scent was strong, and his ears kept twitching as they caught more of the strange sound. In the center there was a large rock. It seemed to be where the scent was coming from. The wolf leaned in close to sniff the rock when he felt a shock to his nose. He jumped back and let out a yip followed by a whimper. The wolf laid down and pawed at his nose.

But as he tended to his shocked nose, something strange started to come over him. A strong need, stronger than the desire to find a mate or even hunger. The wolf stood up and stretched before shaking out his fur. He then bounded out of the circle of trees and into the forest. He was on the hunt, but not for food.

Collin puffed slightly as he carried the last load from his car up to the campsite. He placed the heavy cooler down on a convenient flat space and paused to catch his breath. A campsite a quarter mile from the parking lot hadn’t seemed like that far of a walk, until Collin had to make three trips back and forth to get everything to the campsite.

Now that was a workout. Collin thought as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. At least the cooler will be lighter when it’s time to go home. Speaking of which…

He opened the cooler and pulled an ice cold beer out and cracked it open. Normally, Collin wouldn’t day-drink, but this was his vacation. He unfolded a camp seat and sat down to rest his legs while he enjoyed his beer. He slipped off the ball cap he was wearing and let his slightly damp dark brown hair air out. It had been years since Collin went camping, back in his last year of college. The past few years his holidays were spent either with his family or sleeping in and binge watching something on the couch.

Collin had tried to get some of his friends to come along, but his college buddies were now spread out all over the country, and his friends from work were not into camping. So it was just him alone in the woods for a four day weekend. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, savoring the clean air and the smell of the forest.

This is just what I need. Collin thought as he sipped his beer slowly. I should get the tent and all set up though. He took a long pull from the can before placing it in the cup holder of his camping chair.

Collin spent the next twenty minutes or so setting up his tent, rolling out his sleeping bag, gathering wood for the eventual fire he would need, and otherwise setting up his camp. It was work, but he found himself enjoying it. Collin sat back down in his chair, sweaty but satisfied. He sipped his half finished beer, not even caring it was barely even cool at this point.

This is going to be a good vacation, I can just feel it. Now, where did I put that book…

His hazel eyes were bright as he dug into his pack for the book.

The wolf felt compelled to leave the area he normally ranged in. The scents changed as he moved into unfamiliar territory, but he continued on. He was hunting for a particular scent, one he had only smelled once before. The scent had bothered his parents and they had fled from it. Now he was seeking out this dangerous scent.

Collin grilled his steak over the hot coals of the fire. The smell of the searing meat was delicious. He used a camp shovel to dig out a potato wrapped in foil from the coals and set it on his metal plate to cool slightly while he finished up the steak. Collin’s exertions getting to and setting up the camp had built a healthy appetite in the young man. The steak joined the baked potato on the plate and he tossed a foil wrapped apple to roast on the coals for his desert.

Collin leaned over the small folding camp table as he cut his steak and baked potato. Several pats of butter, salt, and pepper were added to both items and he cracked open a beer to drink. He popped the first piece of steak into his mouth and sighed happily. The only sounds around him was a slight breeze blowing through the trees and the various insects making noise out in the trees.

At first Collin was disappointed that he couldn’t find anyone to go camping with him. But now he found himself enjoying the alone time. After dinner he was planning to read more of his book, at least until the sun set. Then he would just relax by the fire until he felt like sleeping. Maybe even be a kid again and roast some marshmallows. He quietly ate his dinner, feeling more relaxed than he had in years.

The wolf paused and sniffed the air. This part of the forest was avoided by many animals, but especially wolves. The air had many strange lingering smells, not the least of which was that of fire. But there was that scent, the one he was looking for. He smelled fire and meat along with it, but it was what the young wolf was looking for. Quietly it moved through the underbrush towards the scent.

He could see a flickering brightness illuminating the forest as he approached the campsite. He could see the human back lit by the fire as he knelt down in front of it. Slowly and carefully he approached, keeping his own scent downwind.

Meanwhile, Collin was carefully placing a few more logs on the fire. He was smiling as he enjoyed the crackling sound and small sparks as he added fuel to his fire. Colin was reaching to his side for another log when he caught a blur of motion from the corner of his eye. The next thing he knew, he was laying face first on the ground with a heavy weight on his back he heard the growl and then the jaws grab his neck from behind.

“Gah! Help!” He cried out, certain this was it for him.

But the mouth full of sharp teeth just held him firmly. Collin tried to pull away, but a warning growl made him lay perfectly still. He was scared, but also confused. What had triggered the attack? And why did the animal just stop after tackling him?

What the hell is happening? I thought animals hated fire…What can I do? His mind raced in circles a mile a minute.

The wolf was just as confused as Collin. It was as if his body was being controlled by an outside force at this point. The wolf wasn’t scared, rather it was like a pleasant warmth was surrounding his body keeping him calm. The wolf placed his left paw on the human’s shoulder and it started to sink into him, like stepping into a muddy puddle.

What the fuck? Collin was snapped out of his logic loop. “St-stop!” he said in a shaky whisper.

But he was cut off by his own low moan. Whatever the wolf was feeling had spread to his body. It wasn't hot, like the burning fire right next to them. Rather, it was a warm comfortable feeling, almost like being hugged from head to toe. Inside that bubble of warmth he could feel something pushing into his arm slowly. Collin let out a gasp as he felt his arm pulse, his muscles growing tight. Looking to his arm he could see patches of gray and brown fur starting to spring up over a much firmer arm.

Muscles grew upon muscles as Collin’s rather average looking arm grew strong and firm. The growth seemed to push down his arms, like they were sleeves being pulled tightly over a powerful arm. The fur patches spread like spilled paint on a canvas, covering Collin’s arm but doing little to obscure his newfound definition.

He was so distracted by the sensations and fur growth he didn’t even realize at first that the wolf had released his neck. The wolf let out a soft wine but then licked Collin’s neck gently, as if to comfort the man. The wolf’s right paw then began to slip into his right shoulder and the changes continued. He snapped his head to his left arm and watched as the process repeated itself. His arm went from an average arm with no tone at all to a powerful and fuzzy appendage.

Collin’s hands dug into the soft ground as he felt them growing. He didn’t have what he would call large hands before, but now he could feel his bone stretching and thickening. His nails lengthened and thickened into claws and raked across the forest floor.. He stared unbelieving at his hands as patches of gray and brown fur sprouted up on the back of his hands. He lifted his right hand up and looked more closely at it. The underside was now covered in dark velvety pads. And each finger ended with a blunt but imposing claw. His left hand matched the right perfectly, the only difference was the variance in the fur that covered the back.

What is happening to me… Collin flexed his fingers slowly.

His arms and hands felt strange and familiar at the same time. Collin’s mind could barely process what was happening to his body. Strangest of all was the lack of pain, apart from the mild discomfort as the short sleeves of his t-shirt stretched and tore as his arms grew thick and furry. He could feel the hot breath of the wolf against his neck as the beast shifted and pushed his left hindpaw right into his buttock. It sank in as easily as his front paw had into Collin’s shoulder.

Oh god! What now? This can’t be real…I must have had one too many beers and passed out in front of the fire… He closed his eyes, trying to wake up, but this was no dream.

The side of his pants started to split. Collin’s left thigh started to thicken and expand and tufts of fur could be seen through the tears in the fabric. It would have been painful if it wasn’t for the warm feeling engulfing him. Although he couldn’t see it like his arm, Collin could tell something similar was happening to his leg, at least until it reached his foot. His foot started to twitch and grow tight inside his boot.

“Ah! Ow! Get it off!” he spoke out loud as he tried desperately to kick off his hiking boot to relieve the pressure.

The wolf paid his struggle no heed and repeated the process on his right leg. Collin managed to get one boot off, before his foot truly started to change. The ball of his foot widened as his instep stretched. Claws poked out through his sock before It tore to shreds. He could feel his big toes separating from the other four and moving up above the ball of his feet., slowly changing into dewclaws. Collin's other foot was stuck inside his hiking boot. Even with the warmth he felt discomfort, at least until his toes tore through. Thick velvety pads now lined the bottom of his foot, or rather paw at this point.

“Let me up!” He called out, not that the wolf could stop him at this point.

Collin pushed himself up off the ground and onto his knees. He was flexing the toes on his paws slowly, much like he had with his fingers. Collin was breathing hard, trying to take in the changes to his body. He was barely aware of the wolf hanging off his back at this point, he was little more than an afterthought after what had just happened. The wolf’s body now started to sink into Collin. He felt the same surge of growth and strength, but something more this time. Looking down, he saw he was totally erect, sticking out of his ruined jeans. Collin blushed slightly in embarrassment, but his eyes went wide as he watched his penis start to not only grow, but change.

In the light of the fire he could see the color shifting as it grew far past any erection Collin had ever sported. The skin on the shaft became thinner and more sensitive and took on a deep pink color. It started to take on a tapered shape at the tip, looking less human by the second. A fold of skin formed into a furry sheath, not that he was using it at the moment. Collin’s shaft started to swell at the base, forming a thick knot. He now had a huge canine shaft that was ready to go even if Collin wasn’t.

He couldn't help himself, Collin gently prodded his knot with a fingertip. He felt a tingle at the new sensation and started to slowly feel and squeeze his knot gently. He then used his other hand to feel his shaft. He let out a moan as he lightly stroked the rigid pillar of flesh. The wolf behind him let out a soft wine as well, apparently enjoying the sensation as much as he was. It was like he was jerking off for the first time again. It felt so new and different, and the velvety pads on his hands only added to the sensations.

Collin found himself full on stroking his canine cock in front of his campfire and he didn’t care. His moans blended with the wolf’s whines and pants.

What am I doing…god it feels so good…what if someone sees me? The thoughts raced through his head.

Despite any reservations he may have had, Collin couldn’t stop stroking his shaft while squeezing and teasing his knot. With a loud cry from his lips and a sharp bark from the wolf He fired off a load of his seed. A thick rope of cum shot impressively far, followed by several smaller white streams. He dropped his hands to his side and panted, looking down at his spent member. He hadn't even noticed his balls had grown to match his cock until now.

That explains the porn star load then… he thought as he tried to regain his senses.

He then was distracted away from his transformed manhood to an entirely new appendage. He twisted to try and look behind his back, but what remained of the wolf made it difficult. Still, he caught a glimpse of what he was now feeling. The tail of the wolf had remained behind and had settled into place at the base of Collin’s spine. It was hard to control it, as the muscles were new to him, but his practice was cut short.

The wolf continued to slip into his body, Collin’s chest expanded, tearing through his t-shirt with ripped pectorals. Further down his matching chiseled abs glistened in the fire light before they were coated with more of the now familiar gray and brown fur. He had actually developed a little bit of a gut following college, but that seemed to have melted away. The fur patched grew to cover most of his body in a solid pelt and could be seen through the tattered remains of his clothes.

In the midst of the warmth blanketing his body Collin felt a spot of coolness as the wolf’s nose pressed against the back of his head. His eyes went wide as the wolf started to push in. Collin gasped, feeling so much more than just the physical changes. Collin shut his eyes tight, as his mind was flooded with the almost alien memories of the wolf. But the wolf did not replace his mind, rather the memories and instincts nestled in and blended into his consciousness. His ears grew long and tapered, shifting upwards and twitching with new muscles. The front of his face started to grow forward, his jaw stretching and reshaping with his nose into a muzzle. He felt new teeth filling in the gaps as his front teeth lengthened and tapered into fangs.

Part of him felt he should feel terrified, but he wasn’t. As the wolf fully merged into him, he felt better and more alive than ever. He tossed his head back and let out a long and loud howl until he was out of breath to announce his rebirth into the world. Panting, he rested on his knees. Internally he was tying together the threads of just who he was now.

The memories of Collin’s life blended with the wolf’s memories of his life. All they had both done and achieved blended together, but the wolf’s personality seemed to define more of who he was now. The merged creature still cared for Collin’s family and friends, but still longed to find a mate to start a new pack with. He wasn’t really Collin Hall anymore, but since the wolf didn’t have a name that translated into spoken words, he supposed ‘Collin’ would work for who he was.

He sniffed the air around him. The flood of new scents would have overwhelmed the human, but with this combined mind it was as natural as breathing. The same with the sounds. His ears moved, taking in the sounds of the forest all around him from insects buzzing to the sound of small nocturnal creatures scampering around outside his campsite. Opening his eyes, the hazel ones had been replaced with the wolf’s golden ones. The night seemed so much brighter, as if he had lit a giant bonfire rather than the small campfire.

Slowly Collin got to his feet. Quickly he kicked off the ruined boot from his right foot then took his first shaky step. The ability to walk on two legs was provided by the human part of him, though the changes to his legs and feet took some getting used to. Slowly he walked around his fire, getting used to his new legs. The remnants of his clothing bothered him as they rubbed against his fur, so he quickly tore what was left off of his body. He felt no need to cover himself, especially in the current weather. Collin felt slightly overwhelmed by it all, but that was overridden by a negging hunger coming from his gut. He opened the cooler and pulled out the steak meant to be dinner for the next night. He had torn off a large bite before he even realized it was still raw.

He swallowed it and shrugged. I’m too hungry just to wait for a hot meal. He justified himself before quickly devouring what was left of the steak.

Collin then turned his attention to the bag of marshmallows set aside to roast on the fire. He sniffed the bag, even knowing it was food. Still hungry he popped one into his mouth. He almost laughed at how they felt chewing them with his muzzle full of wolf teeth. After all that had happened, Collin felt a desire for a drink and pulled out a can of beer from the cooler. Cracking it open took a few tries, his claws were getting in the way of the pop-top, but he managed. At first Collin tried sitting down in his chair, but it was uncomfortable for his tail. He settled for a large log he rolled up next to the fire. Collin sat and sipped his beer slowly, getting used to drinking with his muzzle and tongue. Eventually he decided to pour the beer into a large mess kit cup and lapped it up with his tongue.

What happens next? I don’t think I can show up in the human world on Tuesday like this. And I don’t know if I’m quite ready to just live in the woods…alone.

The thought of being alone hit Collin hard. True, he had no potential mates waiting for him, but he still had his family and friends in the human world. He doubted a she-wolf would even approach him now, not that he wanted a feral wolf as a mate now that he was fully aware. Collin stared into his fire, wondering if anyone would accept the ‘new Collin’, or just call him a monster. His blended nature of human and wolf both desired companionship. Then he heard it. His ears snapped to attention as he heard a howl coming from the east. A large smile spread across Collin’s muzzle, he wasn’t alone. He let out a response howl before taking off in the direction the call had come from.

I’m coming, whoever you are! He thought with pure joy.
