Chapter Two

Hostage?

Tifa soon awoke as the sun started to peek through the tops of the trees, shifting slightly to draw her hand up over her eyes to stop the blinding light of the sun rising. She was very thirsty from all the walking by this point, and seeing there was a nice cool shaded area to drink at she thought it was a good spot to stay for a little while. Soon Tifa stood up and stretched a little, her stomach giving a light grumble indicating she was hungry. Her hand held her stomach a little as she looked around the area, wondering if there was any berry bushes around. Soon enough she started to walk again, trying to remain around the water so she wouldn't get lost. After a little wondering around the area she spotted mushrooms around the base of a large old tree, quickly moving over to pick a few and look at them.

Not knowing if they were safe or not she sniffed them, her stomach grumbling once more as she did. Shaking her head she popped one after the other in her mouth, eating them quickly. After about five minutes she was full from stuffing so many mushrooms into her body, walking back over to the water and sitting down on a large rock.
