Ryan stepped onto the lift station as the security guard began to close the heavy doors, urging the brown-haired youth to hold the railing during the descent below. The doors slammed shut, echoing through the deep tunnel as the guard engaged the lift. Ryan leaned back on the yellow rail as he felt his feet shift, rising briefly as the platform began its descent. The chilly air gripped his skin the whole way down, forcing him to constantly rub his arms and body to stay warm for the next several minutes.

"Whew...good thing I didn't wear pants down here," he mumbled to himself as sweat dripped down his neck and legs. "Place is an oven down here." He was wearing his usual camo-shorts and a black shirt with a neck chain.

The ride was several stories below to the facility, but the rate the lift was traveling made it go by quick. Ryan glanced at his iPhone for a moment, the time currently 2:20pm when he arrived. "Hope this doesn't take too long like they mentioned. Think they mentioned the rave starts at 6pm." He dropped his phone in his side pocket, his legs buckling slightly as the lift slowed its descent before locking in place.

"WELCOME TO THE RIFTVEIL FACILITY," the intercom voice spoke as Ryan looked up from being spooked. "PLEASE STAND CLEAR OF THE LIFT BAY DOORS AS PROCEDURES CAN CURRENTLY BE UNDERWAY." The gears clicked out of place as the bolts slid out from the large yellow doors, a brief stream of mist emptying out as the doors separated. Taking a deep breath, the youth stepped forward as he entered the facility and felt the relaxing air chill the sweat from his body.

"Good afternoon, sir." A lizardman scientist greeted Ryan almost immediately as he stepped into the large open area, reveling in the sheer size of the inner facility. "What brings you to RiftVeil today?" The green reptilian flicked his eyelids while scrolling down his digital clipboard.

"O, I have an appointment today with Dr. Zero about some kind of transforming stabilizer or...I really don't know honestly," Ryan laughed with a shrug. He reached in his side pocket, pulling out a blue card with the appointment information for the scientist to look over as he handed it over. "They just mentioned to bring the card they mailed me when I arrived and that y'all would take care of the rest."

The lizard swiped the card strip on the side of his clipboard as he pulled up the client info on Ryan, glancing at him once before scrolling through the data. Ryan paced around the well-lit floor up to a side workbench as he took the view in, seeing the massive bookshelf on one side followed by several life support tanks on the other that seemed empty at the moment. "Man, this place is crazy. Can only imagine what these things do," the youth muttered, grinning from ear to ear with excitement.

"Most definitely," remarked the lizard as he finished running his analysis and verifying Ryan's data. "I've only been here for a few days since they hired me on, so all this is a lot for me to take in as well." He smiled as he gestured Ryan to follow him, walking to down the left side as his frilled tail swayed under his coat.

"Wait, so you're new here?," Ryan inquired, pushing off the bench and walking close behind the lizard.

"O that's right, nearly forgot my manners Ryan." He extended a lighter green clawed hand to the human as they walked. "I'm Gill, and yes I'm indeed new here," he remarked with a chuckle as Ryan shook the leather-like hand.

"Thanks, Gill. Good to know I'm not the only one unsure of what's going on in this place, heh heh." He brushed a hand through his brown hair from the embarrassing remark.

"Right you are," the lizard smiled back with his row of razor teeth. "You could already guess from the forms you filled out that this place focuses on transformations services of course, but it also performs other activities as well. Though to be fair, they haven't really informed me too much of those things yet since I mainly serve as a greeter and aid for now."

"So were you a client here before working here?"

"O ho, no. I was a scaled reptile long before I came to work here." The scientist reached in his coat and handed Ryan a guest card for use in the facility, which he simply put in his pocket as they walked on. "By the way, that card is just to help keep track of you while you're here, so you don't get lost."

The human's eyes went wide briefly at the thought, realizing how tight security must be here. "Damn, thanks for the heads up Gill."

"Not a problem," Gill replied as they approached the second Procedure Bay room. Gill stepped to the keypad to punch in some info as Ryan stood idle, messing with his chain necklace as he saw his reflection in the glass shutters. "If you'll please wait in this room Ryan, I'll be back momentarily with Mr. Fenris so he can go over the consultation with you." The shutter doors swerved open as the inner room lit up in the center, but Ryan only stood still and turned his head to the lizard as he was about to leave, something clearly on his mind.

"And Dr. Zero?", he asked as the lizard stopped his movement, his tail motionless as the scientist glanced down briefly before turning to face Ryan.

"Pardon?"

"Isn't Dr. Zero supposed to be seeing me today?" He tilted his head with curiosity, the lizard taking a deep breath as he rested the clipboard at his side.

"Yes, Dr. Zero was supposed to advise you on the device they had prepared for you, and Mr. Fenris was going to show you how to use it." Tension could be felt in the air as Gill took another hard swallow. "But the doctor has been out from an illness since yesterday, so Mr. Fenris will be running solo on the consultation I'm afraid. I hope this isn't an inconvenience for you Ryan," Gill apologized.

The youth shook his head as he smirked. "Nah, it's all good. I just wanted to meet the guy who ran the place is all. Plus he sounded really friendly and helpful on the phone when I talked about my...problem." He waved his hand out. "But if he isn't here, it's fine. I'm pretty sure this Mr. Fenris can explain whatever this thing they made for me just as well, heh heh."

The lizard gave a sensible chuckle, adjusting his coat over his frame where he stood. "Glad to hear it. We just want to make sure you are satisfied with experience is all, so that's why I asked."

"Yep. Well you won't get any complaints from me. Just really curious what this device they made is." He glanced down at his phone, seeing already 30 minutes had passed since he arrived. Crap, gotta hurry this up! "Plus I have something I have to be at in a few hours, so whatever I can do to make this go fast will help," he smiled back as he slipped the phone back into his shorts.

"O right, my apologies," Gill mentioned as he adjusted his clipboard, leading Ryan into the procedure bay. "Anyways, if you will just wait here, I'll be right back with Mr. Fenris, ok?"

"Sure thing," Ryan replied as he grabbed a nearby chair and sat down. The shutters sealed shut quickly as Gill left the refined room, leaving the youth all alone for some time. He stared over at the center plate then back over the walls, taking in the area as his thoughts raced. His curiosity slowing worked over him as he smirked at how cool the gizmos and colorful chemicals were that lined the room. His conscience would try to tell him to stay seated, but where would be the fun in that he thought. It's not like he wouldn't be careful if he took a peek. And no one was around for the moment. I wonder... he pondered to himself as he rose from the chair. A shrug came out as he glanced back at the door before walking over to the workbench, eager to explore some of the things that lined the side shelves and desks of the room while no one was looking. Or at least, he hoped.

"Strange they don't label these things," he conjectured with a swish of one of the colored test tubes on the rack, eying one by one all the exotic colors that scattered about the wall, like a canvas of splattered rainbows. Ryan waft the scent from the tube he held, only to wheeze at the intense spice smell that blasted his nostrils. His hand instinctively dropped the vial back in its holder as he paced away, trying to clear his nose of the odor. "Damn...ok bad idea," he sneezed with a shake of his head. Not gonna do that again.

The human examined some of the other colored beakers, but made sure to not make the same mistake as not to lay a finger on any of them. Be fun to see what these things do, but...not knowing what exactly is in them doesn't sound promising, he thought to himself, moving over to the bookshelf part of the wall. Hundreds of tomes lined the right side in different shapes and decorations, all just begging to be looked at. Course, Ryan wasn't exactly in the reading mood. Suddenly, his hair began to stand on end when he heard a faint voice echo from the wall.

"He---o -he-e -o-." The noise was cryptic and deep, but too muffled for the human to make it out as his eyes darted over the area to see where it was coming from.

"The hell was that?" He pulled out a few books and briefly opened them, then slid a few drawers out on the bench, yet the voice vanished. Or at least, he couldn't hear it. "Ooookkkk...maybeeee...mmmm maybe that stuff I sniffed made me high or something, heh heh. Really hope that isn't the case," he chuckled as he stroked his hair in embarrassment. Might as well sit ti-.

"He- -eh h-h...yo- d-f---l--y --en- l-s---g -- b-y, h-- -eh -eh."

Ryan spun his head 180 degrees towards the right wall of books, thinking he heard the voice again from there, but still unsure as he walked up and gave it a look over. The middle row was lined with heavy books decorated in metal sphere ornaments while the bottom row had a few scrolls and the top lined with red and green thin books. He put an ear to the shelf, his eyes dilating as he could definitely hear something, but still couldn't make it out. The hell is going on?!? Is..is it coming from one of the books? Taking a book one by one from the shelf, he flung it over and swept over the pages, frantically trying to find the source as the echo grew louder by the minute. After tossing a few tomes to the floor, his eyes drew fixed on the center row, blinking a few times at what he thought was movement. He reached a hand up to grab a dark green tome, about as thick in width of his hand and with a spine lined in runic symbols. The human shrugged as he browsed the front cover, no title visible on it: just a couple of rune formations splayed out. He had no idea what it all meant, but his curiosity flickered in his mind as he felt an urge to browse the book. Slowly his fingers grazed the side pages, digging under the large cover flap as he began to open the book when he suddenly heard chatting and approaching footsteps come from outside the procedure room. Crap, they're already back. In an instant, the youth shut the green tome and slammed it back into the shelf as he tidied up the mess he made.

The bay doors slide open as Bolt walked in with Gill, his paintbrush tipped tail swaying under his coat as he glanced up to see the client leaned back in the chair, flashing a smirk to them as Bolt approached. "How's it going Ryan?," the silver-furred lombax greeted with a paw extended to welcome the human. "Sorry to keep you waiting, I had to attend to a matter in the other sector before heading over here." He clicked up his armband with Ryan's client info as he finished shaking his hand, somewhat slick with sweat. "But we're ready to go now, heh heh."

"Awesome stuff, Mr. Fenris," Ryan spoke as he rose from the chair. "And it's not a problem. I was telling Gill I had a gig I was gonna attend later this evening, so I wanted to have whatever thing y'all cooked up ready to use for the evening."

"O right yes, Magnus mentioned the details to me about your request," Bolt muttered as he glanced over Ryan's biometrics they acquired before he arrived. "He mentioned you had problems controlling your innate animal side during the night and other events."

Ryan nodded briefly as he fiddled with his necklace for a moment, then put his hands to his side as he explained. "Yep. Ever since I turned 16 these changes had a hold on my life. I still don't have complete control over them to this day, but I'm learning to keep the fox in check when I need to."

"So he's a fox-human?," inquired Gill as Bolt faced the human.

"Yes. A werefox to be more precise." Bolt wandered over to the table, his eye glancing over with confusion at a book still protruding out the shelf. With a shrug, the feline took a test tube in hand and a heat station with solution nearby to prep something up. "Did you want to mention the details, Ryan? Or I can keep it under wraps," Bolt asked with his head over his shoulder, eyeballing the human as he gave a smirk and shook a hand back.

"Nah, it's fine Mr. Fenris," Ryan replied, taking a hand to his chin as he pondered before the lizardman while the lombax worked. "I really don't know if its genetic or not honestly, you know...being part animal and human heh heh. I mean, it's fun when I'm able to be in control of my foxy side, but sometimes during a full moon I can go completely feral or lose myself in the moment and not know what happens later. That's the reason I'm here though," he mentioned as he paced to the wall, leaning his back on it. "I asked the doc if he had something to keep the change in check so that way I'm in control all the time and shifting could be easier." Ryan flexed his fingers into a fist as he worked his arm muscle, his mind remembering images of how fun it sometimes was to run through the woods at night as a hulking fox beast without a care in the world. Then he grimaced slightly at the times he blanked out, only to wake up with no clothes and torn shorts, along with a trail of destruction nearby from whatever the fox did.

"Which is why I made you a watch that'll link to your DNA profile and stay fastened on you well," Bolt chimed in as he put up the heat source and began walking over with a purple liquid-filled test tube, sloshing it in his paws as he grinned. "The goal is that it'll remain intact when you shift and link the werefox side to your mind, so you both will think as one and be in sync. Magnus thinks it's two parts of your mind fighting over control of your body, so the best way to fix it is to just meld the two together. Or something," he said with a sigh. "I get lost when he starts ranting about science mumbo-jumbo now and then..."

"So what's the liquid for then?," Ryan questioned with a finger toward the tube.

"O this? Needed to give my coffee more kick this morning, so I'm gonna add some concentrated caffeine fluids to it," grinned the feline as his blue-tipped tail brushed Ryan's leg. "Want a taste? I got a spare cup of coffee if you want in the break room."

"O no, I'm good. Soda works better for me than that stuff," Ryan blushed as Bolt scowled at him. "But thank you for the offer."

"Sure thing."

"So what exactly are we waiting on?"

Bolt checked his armband, reading the time as he approached the shutter doors with Gill close behind. "Need about ten more minutes before the device is ready. I left it charging in the other sector before you got here, so it shouldn't need much longer." He motioned with a paw to the chair as Ryan took the hint and sat back down. "Just sit tight and I'll be back with the watch. We can run a check on it before you leave if you want. It'll let us make sure it's up to speed and your satisfied."

"Yea, I'd like that," nodded Ryan. "Really excited to see how this will work." He smiled eagerly as Bolt and Gill gave a wave, stepping out into the main area as the shutters closed again.

Immediately he was back on his feet as he strode over to the shelf, his eyes already locked onto the green tome again. What do we have here?, he thought to himself as he reached a finger on top of the exposed book spine. It was odd that he remembered pushing all the books back in place, yet this one still jutted itself out from the rest. Why was that anyway? On top of that, he never got a good look of what was even inside its pages. Let's see, he pondered as he slowly rubbed the runic hard cover with a stroke.

Ryan's eyes lit up with amazement as he saw a flash of light gleam over the rune etchings, like a light trail dancing about. A green glow cascaded about as the symbols lit up, the shine reflecting in the humans eyes as he turned the cover and scrolled through the pages. The text was very foreign, unlike any he had ever seen. Only words and archaic lettering dotted each page as he flipped through each section, no pictures to serve as a reference to what this tome was. His eyes glanced back at the door before he pulled his phone slightly out, checking how much time he still had when a familiar noise made his ears perk.

"Hello again Ryan," an deep voice projected out as it echoed into his head, his eyes darting around before fixing back on the tome. "Weren't you told to stay put?," the voice snickered.

"Who's there?!? Show yourself!," the human barked to himself as clearly no one else was in the room with him. He scrolled through the pages until an outlined page in light caught his eye on the folds, leading his fingers to flip the book open halfway.

"No one is here but you Ryan," the voice taunted, playing with the human. "I'm not here yet, but I'm sure you can change that for me if you lend me a hand...or something more, heh heh."

God I need to lay off the pills, I'm seeing shit, Ryan thought to himself as his mouth gaped at what the page held. The left sheet was lined in the same text as before, but a strange symbol in red ink resided only on the opposite page, almost like an occult version of the "all-seeing eye", but with a strange purple ridged circle drawn around it. What is this thing?

"That would be a lock, o curious boy," the voice chimed in, causing the human to wince back. "And no, you technically aren't SEEING anything at the moment, heh heh. We're just having a nice chat in your mind."

Well get out of my head, whatever the hell you are. There's only room for one in it. He gave an annoyed look as he tried to slam the book shut, but his hands remained in a fix pose. His fingers nor wrists moved at all, even though he could still feel the tome in them. What the fuck?

"O that's right...nearly forgot my manners," the voice jested. "I am Hadron. And you sir, my overly curious friend, happened to find my prison in this here tome."

Give me a break. I didn't know you were in this book when I went for a look.

"It's because I gave you a little tug along your 'will' to come find me. You know, that noise you were hearing earlier and all: that was me."

Ryan shook his head furiously to get the entity out of his head, but he could still hear him snickering loud and clear. And now he felt his arms and legs lock up, like he was being frozen in place but still fully aware. What do you even want? And what the hell are you doing to my body?!?

"O? What I'm doing is not really important. It's what I want YOU to do that is, heh heh. Let me put it simple for your feeble mind, boy. Normally, my powers are restricted while I'm stuck in this infernal book, but when a gullible and not-so strong willed creature comes trotting along, then I can entice them to help me. We wraiths have that way on others," the voice snickered. "You just happened to let your guard down at the wrong time."

Err...get out of...my head... Ryan willed himself as best he could, but slowly his thinking went foggy, feeling an eerie trance-like state sweep over his psyche.

"Now now Ryan...no need to overexert yourself right now; we can save that for later. All I need you to do is place your hand on that red seal here, and recite a simple phrase. After all, you do want to help a friend right?" The deep voice sounded so seductive, pulling the human into his grip with each passing second. Ryan's eyes had already began to glow the same eerie green glow as the text, and even though he still controlled his body, he felt a change of heart towards the mysterious entity before him.

"Of..of course Master Hadron. I want to help you." The enthralled human's arms began to move as he assumed control, a smile creeping over his face as he felt relaxed. "Please...guide me to what I need to do."

The voice bellowed a deep demonic laugh in the human's mind, his grip growing tight on his new pawn. "Splendid, my boy. Now then." As if acting on a marionette, Ryan's right hand lifted up before placing down his palm onto the red ink symbol. With a deep breath, he shut his eyes as repeated the phrase out of memory without thinking: "In nomine Dei, hoc recludit!"As the words left his lips, the blue circle seal disintegrated off the page as a gapping portal erupted open where the red ink eye once was, dark energy trickling down the book and into the room as Ryan stared on with glowing green eyes. In a corner, a mist hand with claws clenched one side followed by another, pulling the portal open more. Setting the book down on the bench, the human idly stepped back some as black and neon green entity spilled out of the hole and into the room, floating in place as a strange necklace dangled on its shade body.

The shadow wraith gave a deep chuckle as it flexed its hand like projections out, relishing in the real world air again after being cramped up for so long. "Aaahhh, the rich scent of fresh souls smells so goooooddd," the creature lulled as he took in the sight. "Now then boy, tell me where we are exactly," he muttered as he examined the room. Ryan, still somewhat unaware of what was occurring as he could only watch and feel from the back of his mind, briefed the wraith on where they were and why he came here, catching the interest of the evil spirit. "Ah, now I see," Hadron muttered as his green glowing mouth curled into a grin across his form, looking over Ryan as he circled him. "That explains the strange aura I felt from you, like you had someone else in you as well. Very...interesting."

Ryan managed to wiggle some of his free will back as he tried to refocus, but that would soon be difficult to maintain with what was about to follow as Hadron grazed the side of his arm with a stroke of his ghostly hand. The claw cut deep into the flesh of the human, but showed no harmful effects as it passed through. A neon stream of energy quickly rushed out the claw tips and straight into Ryan as he felt his heart begin to throb heavily in his chest, making his body tingle all over as his hair began to stand on in. He knew this beginning feeling all too well before...and was gripped with a mix state of fear and excitement as he felt the hair on his arm grow thicker into an orange hue. Excitement to let the dormant fox side of himself out, but fear as he knew he couldn't keep himself in check in this state. He groaned some as he clenched his chest forward, his muscles tensing up as they began to thicken some. "Errg..what are you...doing? Stop it...you're making a..big mistake," he warned the wraith through gritted teeth as the shade sunk a few more claws into his side, feeding the changing human more demonic energy.

"Still have some fight left in you I see, Ryan," the wraith inquired as he removed his claws, watching his new pet's shirt be stretched to its limit from the hulking girth as Ryan fell to his knees. "Must be that feisty beast side of you I sensed earlier rearing his head out, hmmm? No matter. I can keep him in check with that 'gift' I just gave you."

Ryan growled in pain and frustration as his mind tried to fight of the evil spirit's influence as well as endure the pain of the change as his fox side slowing crept out. His nails dug deep into the smooth floor with a grind as black claws grew out, his feet bursting out of his sneakers as they inflated in size with his hands. The fur swept over each digit before darkening to a blood red hue with black padded ends. Various lightning markings adorned areas of his fur as he grew a few inches, feeling his spine pop as more plates were added and his bone structure began to shift. All of this was a delight to the wraith as he took the agony from the growls and grunts from the changing human in, yet feeling the connection in the youth's mind of the fun feeling he felt while it ensued regardless. "Must..resist..but.." Ryan grumbled as he raked the side of the floor with his growing paws.

"Why do you wish to resist anyway boy?," the wraith taunted as he gazed down with neon green eyes. "Your memories tell me you enjoyed being this hulking fox beast, but yet you currently don't wish it. It isn't because of me, is it?," the wraith chuckled as a white underbelly of fur crept over Ryan's pectorals. "I want you to be my friend Ryan, and friends share secrets with one another. Friends also help each other, like you did for me. So I going to help you too," he mentioned as he blasted another jolt of energy into the werefox's shifting body. "Starting with making that body of yours more...serviceable."

Had not the walls been as thick as they were, the oblivious scientists lingering outside might of realized from all the growls and groans coming from the procedure bay just how much of a mess was going on. Ryan groaned as his face pushed out inch by inch, his maw filling with sharp canines while his hair shifted to the orange hue with red tipped ends. His nose blackened out over the white furred muzzle as he collapsed to all fours, feeling adrenaline rush with the heightened senses as his ears stretched into points up the side of his head. He bucked slightly from a throbbing pressure at his lower back as his shorts burst into shreds from his huge thighs, his large fluffy tail flying out and fanning the misty bottom of the wraith.

With a shift shake of his still hazy head, Ryan gripped the workbench with a large paw as he rose to his feet. He got a glimpse of his reflection in one of the shelf mirrors as he stared his blue eyes into the image. The werefox touched his muzzle, verifying it was truly him as the wraith loomed over his shoulder to look in with glee, only for Ryan to bolt to the side with an angered scowl.

"You sick monster!," barked the werefox as he barred his teeth. "What gives you the right to fucking mess with my body as you please?!?" Suddenly, a knot-like sensation strained in his chest as Ryan crippled under his legs, clenching a paw on his chest. It felt as if an elephant was sitting on his lungs, crushing his air supply with each second as he struggled to maintain focus.

Hadron loomed over as he reveled in the squirming werefox, running a shade finger in his orange hair as he patted the beast's broad shoulder. With a 'snap' of his ghost hand, the pain instantly vanished as Ryan brushed his throat and felt the air rush back in.

"Language Ryan...," Hadron scolded the youth, looking up at the spirit with annoyance. "That's no way to treat a friend trying to help you. I read your inner thoughts already, remember." He gave a devilish grin as he breathed a cold blast of air into the fox's face, causing him to wince. "So I know about those inner...desires...of yours."

Ryan flung a clawed swipe out at the spirit, only to have it pass through the cloud with ease. "Shut up!," growled the werefox. "You don't know jack shit about me! Save the lecture for someone who cares."

"O please boy, you might be all bark right now, but you hardly have any bite against me," taunted Hadron. "I wanted you to be a willing 'servant' of mine, but it seems you'll have to learn some manners first." A shaded hand rose as Ryan felt his airway constrict, his throat being choked by an unseen force as his furry body was hoisted into the air, dangling in front of the grinning wraith. "Lucky for you, I'm feeling rather...generous today. And seeing as you crave more 'fun' when you are your foxy-self, I'll be more than happy to give it to you." Ryan's body began to pulse with dark energy, whatever that was place dormant in him before now awakening with full force as he felt his body surge more with an electric impulse. "I think you'll enjoy this makeover when it's all said and done my boy. I know I definitely will," Hadron muttered as he stretched an arm out at the werefox. In a matter of seconds, his ghost arm plunged into the beast's chest as his whole shade form followed suit. Immediately Ryan's thoughts became jumbled again as he felt his brain split in two as the invader began to take direct control, a shudder engulfing them as they merged into one.

Ryan fell back to the floor, his paws splayed out before him as he twitched his blue eyes around the room. The room began to spin as his head began to throb, placing a paw on it to try to relieve the overwhelming pressure building up. Yet for some reason, he didn't recall commanding his arm to touch his head, as he only felt it. Glancing an eye over, he felt his paw twitch about as he tried to will it to move with his thoughts, feeling it tug back as he heard Hadron's laughter echoing about his skull with amusement.

"Very nice body you have," Hadron spoke as he flexed the big paw in front, giving his chest a rub to feel his new flesh. "They feel soooo soft," he taunted as a wave of pleasure enveloped them both, the spirit clearly teasing his captive.

"Stop that," Ryan barked as he shook his paw, trying to adjust his vision as he wobbled on his large legs. But as the tingling disappeared momentarily from his paws, he suddenly started to feel his toes twitch and throb below, like they were inflating and deflating one at a time while his fur began to stand on end. Even his tail started acting funny, giving a moan as he felt it brush and tease along his exposed rod. "Stop...thaaatttt...yo....fffuu...," he mumbled as his speech began to slur. The fox's long wet tongue began to drool and lull to his side muzzle as he swayed about on his knees, his senses slowly fading as he felt extremely horny. Without even thinking, he began to growl as his head lowered itself to his dangling bolt-marked cock, giving it caressing laps as the tip bubbled out fresh pre. Unbeknownst to Ryan though, the werefox had no idea that the wraith was already seizing control over his functions, doing this as a means to toy with him as he pushed Ryan's ethereal essence slowly into the bulbous cock. His hefty ball sack swayed idly in the trance as Hadron chuckled, the human only thinking whatever thoughts the demon wanted him to; and in this case, he only needed to think of the pure pleasure of lust enveloping him as he let Hadron consume him. "Mmmm such a good boy you are," teased the wraith as Ryan's conscious moaned from the stimulation of the tongue running over his fleshy sides. The wraith made his foxtaur head grin as he rolled his fuzzy red paw fingers over the slick member, grinding and pumping in a leisurely method to give full stimulation and growth, but complete release denial. "Still...I think we can do better with a new look, hmmm?"

With a flash of green blasting in his eyes, the werefox groaned as he lurched forward, a new sensation creeping over as his muscles tensed up again. His paws drew away to hold his rumbling body up, his claws digging into the ground. The dark energy pulsed in all parts of the fox as his muscles began to inflate. He rose inch by inch in size with each energy pulse, already reaching nearly eight feet tall as his paws stomped the ground. An odd sensation crept over, feeling his spine begin to pop with more stretching, but instead in a backward motion as his thighs became twice the girth before with his meaty rump. Instantly, a pressure surged in his midsection as he leaned forward when two new limps suddenly erupted from his flesh. The werefox grinned at the sight of his extra legs that mimic'd his back ones in form, his size continuing to increase to nine feet while he adjusted to his new taur form. The pleasure swept over him with a shake of his tail and rear, leaning forward for a howl as a shiver rustled below his legs. Energy poured into his already averaged sized sheath as it stretched out with his wide base, his fuzzy ball sack stretching out more to accommodate the swelling orbs that dangled between his back legs. They swayed back and forth in a heavy motion as they reached the size of large cantaloupes, churning with tainted demonic seed to go with his own fox blend. The rush of juices made the howling beast moan some as his horny nature began to surface more and more with the change, his black canine tip becoming more engorged as it reared out of the sheath till its bulbous end was in full view. The werefox gave a glance down at the member as it began to drip fresh pre onto the floor, delighted at his beautiful tool.

"Yesss," Hadron cooed with Ryan's mouth as he teased him on, feeling the same pleasure as the spirit but helpless still to do anything. "I think he could use a friend down there as well," he grinned as a jolt of energy blasted from his furry finger down to the slick rod. The veins on the flesh tensed as the rod sputtered out more seed with another growth spurt, swelling in size while his sheath nearly double in girth. Just below the first rod, another rod of similar size began to poke its way out of the fuzzy sack to full mast, dangling with its twin as they splattered the ground and white underbelly of the foxtaur in delight.

Bastard.., Ryan thought to himself in the confines of one of the rods, feeling the pleasure and effects shock him. Feels so gooooddd, but....can't do...anything...eerr. The former human could already feel his horny nature cloud his judgment as the wraith took full advantage of his torment, holding back his orgasm as the beast couldn't fully vent...yet.

"Now now Ryan, not yet you naughty fox boy, heh heh," Hadron teased back. "Just sit back and enjoy the ride. I've been cramped in that damn book for hundreds of years, and I haven't had this much fun in ages," he remarked with a hearty laugh. "We'll have some fun soon though, don't you worry."

Electrical surges swept over his fur as it became thicker and more rugged with his growing size as his head approached the room ceiling. The foxtaur creaked his neck a few times as a pair of tips penetrated his skull as demonic horns began to rise up and puncture the metal ceiling. His shoulders began to flex with more freedom from the strength he now possessed, glancing over to see the new demonic spikes that splayed across each one. On his backside, similar looking spikes began to grow on his back and on end of his now whip-like tail, swaying out three feet in length. The force on it was immense, crashing a dent into the hard wall and splitting the nearby chair he once sat in pieces.

The massive foxtaur peaked in height at nearly 11 feet tall, having to lean down on all fours to fit in the low-hanging room. Hadron smashed the ground with the powerful paws, making the room rumble as a commotion began to occur from outside the room, catching the interest of scientists now as Bolt was already make his way back over with Gill ahead of him. The demonic-taur snarled and panted in place as he rubbed his bloated rods along the cracked floor, puddles of seed pooling beneath him as he churned out more cum. Ryan could only watch from below as the wraith ran a heavy padded paw along the other tip, dapping it in fresh liquid as it ran it to his muzzle. Hadron suckled on the fluid, feeling the rich taste shock his taste buds as Ryan shuddered from the pleasure stimulation while being revolted that the spirit was only playing with him. "Eager for a taste, boy?," mocked the wraith as his eyes glowed green, staring back into his head at the curled up human in the back. Out of nowhere, the foxtaur's head began to pull itself sideways as the base of his neck enlarged with more flesh. Horns began to puncture the right side of the base as another head in similar size and form burst out of the flesh, shaking about to taste in the new air as it gazed over at its twin head. A eerie smile crept over its maw as it was met with a similar smile from Hadron's head, the two heads leaning in to rub noses and lick each other's snouts. "Hey there handsome," Hadron greeted his twin head as they growled at one another.

What...where am I?!? Ryan questioned as he tried to move the new head about, clearly trapped inside its skull but merely as an observer at the moment.

"I figured you'd be getting to entranced from the enjoyment downstairs, so I decided to give you a front row seat to the grand show that's about to start, heh heh," the wraith chuckled as it turned its own head towards the shutter doors, hearing the movement outside get louder. "We're about to have some company it seems. Guess I over did it with the whole thrashing about," he snickered. The demonic foxtaur adjusted itself in the tight room as it made large strides toward the door, its tail crashing into the back wall shelf and breaking one of the lights as its paws sunk into the floor. In a matter of moments, the foxtaur's heads gave a wicked smile as the shutter doors opened, a scrawny human in a lab coat walking in to see what was all the ruckus.

"Is everything alright in-." the words immediately became choked up his throat as the two-headed demon foxtaur leaned in close, a penetrating stare making the human stumble to the floor as he was eclipsed by the looming size of the monster before him. His clipboard dropped to his side as he began to scuffle back to the door, only to have a large paw slam down on his legs and pull him back in. The pure shock on his face prevented him from muttering anything as he trembled under the soft but heavy grip of the foxtaur. The beast tilted one of its heads close as it huffed a nostril blast into his face, blasting back his brown hair.

"Why hello there," Hadron's first head remarked with a toothy grin.

"Trying to leave so soon?," chimed in the second head as Ryan looked on with mixed emotions in his subconscious.

"P-p-please don't eat me, whatever you are!," pleaded the scientist, groveling before the beast as it eyed him over. "I'm s-s-sure we can fix whatever was done to y-you!" The man groaned and wept as he felt a long wet tongue lap the side of his face, moments before the paw clasped around his waist and held him up to the two demonic heads.

"Eat you? No no no, you're sadly mistaken," cooed the first head.

"You're far too tiny to feed our hungry appetite," remarked the second. "We only want to have some fun is all." He gave the human a rub under his chin with a claw, licking his lips as a head glanced down below. "And if anything, you must be thirsty from the long day, hmmm?" The human's eyes dilated as he was lowered to the dangling black members below, fresh seed still bubbling off the tip like a leaking faucet. Before the man could say another word, his face was smashed directly on one of the black tapered tips as a hot cumjet was blasted down his maw. He coughed in attempt to hack up the thick seed, but its rich and tangy taste quickly warped his mind into a corrupted state. In no time the mindless human was sucking down small gulps of the seed with each passing second, having the foxtaur chuckle at his new playtoy. "Excellent...take as much as you want, sir. These reserves won't be running dry anytime soon, heh heh. At least, not while I have more eager guests waiting to be serviced."

Ryan groaned in annoyance as his oversized fox body played with the human below, getting sexually aroused from the torment of another soul while he wasn't in control. You bastard...you think this is some sick twisted game of yours just because you have my fucking body?!?, Ryan yelled in his head, having Hadron scowl in annoyance.

"O please boy, stop being a hypocrite," the wraith retorted as he blasted a glare back in his head, causing the human to reel in the corner. "You are enjoying this just as much as me, remember? I can read your thoughts and feel what you feel. You like your new improved body, and want to test it out too." As much as Ryan wanted to bark back at the arrogant spirit, he knew what he said was somewhat true. The orgasmic feeling of his horny fox side reveling through his senses with a need to seed and play around gripped tightly over him. Only the thought of having a puppeteer play on his strings in the background was what was literally killing the fantasy.

Out of nowhere, the demon foxtaur glanced up to see the shutter doors open as a familiar lombax paced forward, stopping midway as he took in the grotesque and oddly arousing sight of one of his colleagues being fucked senselessly by the eleven foot tall beast. He blinked his blue eyes a few times, stunned somewhat of what happened to the human client in a short amount of time until he noticed the green tome still tossed onto the floor.

"Hadron!," yelled Bolt as he tossed Ryan's new armband he brought to the side, stepping forward with a determined gleam in his eyes, recognizing those familiar demonic markings along the taur. The feline already knew about Ryan's condition from the biometric data, but never imagined he could be corrupted to a colossal taur version of himself from a demon. Then again, this was no regular lowly demon. It was a shadow wraith king from another realm. He knew the entity from the old text he once read, a creature that his mentor warned him to be careful if he ever crossed paths with one.

Hadron snarled as both heads turned to face the lombax, tossing the hypnotized human to the floor as he stomped forward. "Well well, isn't this a treat," the foxtaur remarked as it approached the feline, Ryan looking on from the sidelines of his subconscious as they stared each other down. "I don't remember meeting you in a lifetime, furball," he huffed out. "How do you know my name?"

"Heh, hard to forget an ugly face like yours when I saw it in one of the old texts," Bolt retorted with a smirk. "Wraiths are pretty easy to pick out when they possess something, and there isn't exactly many powerful ones that could warrant spiritual containment in a tome like that," he said as he pointed over at the green tome. "So either your name was Hadron or Voltanis. Guess I picked the right one."

The remark annoyed the foxtaur outright as he heaved a large paw down on his spot, raking through the ceiling in the swing. But Bolt was a quick kitty, springing out of the way as he dodge-rolled out of the way of the proceeding swing, sticking his tongue out as the demon roared in frustration. "Too slow, big boy," Bolt taunted as he pounced up and swiped one of the head's noses, sending the beast reeling with paw to cover his sensitive spot. Need to get him out in the open, otherwise he'll tear this whole facility to rubble, Bolt thought to himself as he darted out of the doors and into the open area, the massive foxtaur charging in pursuit behind him. The shutter doors shattered as the eleven foot tall creature rammed through them, sending them flying to the side as several glass apertures were toppled over.

Panic ensued as Gill, clients, and scientists ran for cover to avoid the onslaught of the demon, hiding in the tight corridors that he probably couldn't reach as Bolt darted over counters and workbenches, weaving in and out to avoid the swings from the creature as metal doors/instruments scattered across the area. Damn, gotta keep him out of the other sector, he thought as he dove on to a nearby ladder, racing up as fast as he could. Unfortunately, a swift rake from the foxtaur clipped the lower structure, causing it to break from its hinges and send the feline plummeting to the floor. Bolt managed to land on his feet, but the moment he looked up he felt a semi-truck plow into him as Hadron pinned him into the nearby wall, nearly knocking the wind out of him. The feline, currently lacking any weapons, dug his claws into the massive paw in futility as the fox heads lowered to his level, growling menacingly at him. The fur was too thick to puncture through, and his strength was being sapped quickly from each second in the beast's grip.

"Why do you run from your new master, silly kitty?," mocked Hadron with his first head, giving the lombax's ear a nibble. "I could use a crafty servant like you in my fold, and I can sense you will do well to help improve or service my new form with the right...enticement." The words spun into Bolt's pointed ears as the second foxtaur head stared its glowing green eyes into his, trying to hypnotize the feline and break his will.

"No thanks," Bolt barked back as he spat at the foxtaur's first head. "I'm not feeling generous to be your cock-sleeve after what you did to Ryan!"

The foxtaur squeezed its grip tighter over the feline, suffocating more air out of his lungs as he fought to resist the Hadron's enthrallment. Ryan stared on in shock as the lombax struggled, trying desperately to focus and regain hold on his body from the wraith as Bolt pleaded for him. "Come on...Ryan. I...know you're in there...still. Don't let this...jackass control you. IT'S YOUR LIFE ON THE LINE!"

Looking on from the dark corridor of his mind, the human slowly rose up in his subconscious as a bright light began to emerge from ahead, growing in intensity. Seizing the moment, Ryan reached out with an ethereal hand to grasp as the second foxtaur's eyes began to shift back to a blue color. With a shake of the second head, Ryan blinked his head as he glanced over at the snarling head, willing himself to release his grip over the lombax. Bolt fell to the cold floor, air returning to his lungs as he hacked up from the brief pain.

"What the-AAAARRGGG!," Hadron roared in pain as he felt the fangs of his other head sink into the side of his neck, sending the huge body staggering back in pain. Ryan growled in rage as he shook his own head onto the side, drawing some blood from the open wound.

GIVE ME BACK MY BODY, YOU BASTARD!, roared Ryan in his head, beating back the wraith as he slowly began to take control over the large foxtaur body.

"Damnit boy, what are you doing?!?," Hadron barked back in his thoughts, snapping back at the other fox head, but unable to reach it.

Bolt could only stare on in shock as the beast fought about itself, smashing the side wall with its flailing tail as a metal railing came crashing down from above. The lombax had no idea what to do in resolving the situation, especially with Ryan still trapped in his own body with the shadow wraith. And no tech he had on hand could possibly separate the two. There had to be another way, albeit a temporary solution. He pondered quickly as he paced back from the rampaging beast as he caught someone out of the corner of his eye, just leaving the ruined procedure bay room with something in hand.

"Bolt! Use this!," an unknown female voice rang out, drawing the attention of the lombax as the foxtaur slammed into a nearby wall, Ryan releasing his grip on the other head's neck. The figure tossed a book across the room toward the lombax, diving forward to catch it as it slide along the floor to him. He blinked twice when he saw the cover; it was the same green tome as before. That's when it hit him. A sealing art! Using it might pull the creature back into the book. Glancing over at Ryan's head, Bolt grimaced at the thought of trapping one of his clients in with the wraith, but he felt his paws tied at what had to be done for now. At this rate, the whole facility would be reduced to debris if they kept up this rampage. He would find a way to fix this mess eventually, but this was their best option for the time being.

The silver-furred lombax wasted little time he had by rising to his feet, opening the tome back to the page with the red insignia hole. Placing his paw pad on the page, he focused his will to his center as he remembered his training. Bright blue energy began to circle onto the text as the archaic letterings lit up through the channeling. With a deep breath, Bolt reopened his blue eyes to recite the incantation: "Ex quibus planum fieret, paries notas semitas abyssi porta. LAPIS VERUM!"

In an instant, red hole erupted open as Bolt held the tome outstretched in front towards the demonic foxtaur, both heads turning with shock as they felt a strong wind current surge forth from the hole. A bright blue channeling circle projected forth as a vortex vacuumed in scattered debris and metal pieces, pulling the colossal creature towards the portal as it tried furiously to latch onto anything. It roared in frustration as its huge claws slashed into the metal sides before its back side began to vanish into the void, the pull intensifying with each passing second as the open area was trashed about from the wind storm. Losing his strength, despite how much power he retained, Hadron cursed the lombax as the rest of his taur form was swallowed whole in the vortex along with Ryan, still fighting for control with the wraith as they vanished to another dimension. In a split second after the demon was gone, Bolt immediately slammed the green tome shut, disconnecting the channeling circle from this plane before locking the book shut with an incantation on the cover.

Bolt staggered back some before collapsing on the mess of a floor, panting heavily from exhaustion as the book fell to his side. It took nearly all the spirit energy he had to pull off the spiritual art, but the deed was done. Hadron was sent back into the realm where he resided, trapped again for now he hoped. Yet a feeling crept in the back of his feline mind, not stopping to think about what he just did to Ryan. All the human wanted to do was find a way to live in control with his werefox side, and now he was tangled up in a mess with a demon he just met. He figured it must've been a lot for the human to have to endure for one day, and he just made it even worse with what he just did.

With a heavy sigh, Bolt gazed up at the tattered ceiling as he smiled confidently to himself. "Don't worry Ryan," the lombax muttered to himself. "I'll fix this mess and get you back here soon, I promise." As he rose to his feet, he glanced over to see the mysterious female from earlier walk up to him, extending a hand to help him up, dusting off his fur some.

"You alright Bolt?," she asked the feline as he cracked his neck.

"Yeah...I'll be fine," he remarked solemnly. "But I doubt Ryan is after this kind of mess. We need to do something; I just don't know what." He scratched his head as the female shook her head.

"Still forgetting things from the lessons I taught you?," she chuckled, reaching over for the green tome as the lombax tilted his head. "What was once done can always be undone," she muttered as she flipped through the book to the sealed page. Immediately a light bulb went off in his head, his blue eyes gleaming as she gave a nod back. "Hmmmph...figured it out, I see? Well then, let's get started." As she muttered those words, a summoning circle enveloped around where she stood, causing Bolt to pace back some as the room began to shake. With the pages held forward toward the feline, the red hole in the center began to crack as a rift was channeled forth.

"How long will I have?," asked Bolt as he braced himself in a stance, his armband still fastened and operating with sounds.

"Five...ten minutes top, I would imagine," she grimaced as the feline gave a loud gulp. "Once you are in, reverse the art I taught you and everything else should fall in place. And be careful...you'll be in his realm now."

With a bend of his knees, the lombax gave a determined look, confident in his abilities for the task. "Then let's do it...there isn't a moment to spare now." As the words left his muzzle, the room before him instantly was engulfed in darkness as he was pulled into the void.

(Meanwhile in an open plane of earth, somewhere in another dimension)

"Insolate boy," Hadron scolded Ryan as he glared a penetrating gaze into the back of his head. The human was still looking through the second fox head as the other looked down at it, anger etched over his muzzle as he snarled at him. "Your stupid antics got me stuck back in this place, and now it'll be a long while till I even get out of here again. Grrr..."

Ryan could only stare on in a state of hypnosis as his head wandered back in forth, his long tongue lulling to his side from being in a daze. Hadron's power was at its peak in this realm, so Ryan could hardly fight back with his will being crushed by the overwhelming grip of the wraith here. The foxtaur leaned back into the dirt ground, sitting its lower back down as it rose up on its end, its heads shaking themselves off as it looked over its lower section before. Despite the trauma that ensued minutes ago, the creature was still as horny as ever, its throbbing members still slick with juices as they swayed back and forth between his legs along with his hefty ball sack. The demon was sick of the crap that his host had put him through, but knew he couldn't kill him: he needed him to retain control of the demonic foxtaur body. However, Hadron was crafty when it came to torment through other means. With a devilish grin, he willed forth a surge of dark energy as he pulled Ryan's ethereal form out of the second head, playing with the shade in his heavy paw as he eyeballed one of the leaking black rods. Reaching down, he wrapped the fuzzy red paw around the wet juices and immediately began rubbing up and down vigorously, working his members into a frenzy as he panted above with both heads. Their tongues lulled out as cum sputtered into his fur, all while the ethereal mass of Ryan began to sink into one of the rods.

Errr...whaaattt are you...doing..to me?, grumbled Ryan through a haze in his psyche as pleasure began to sweep over him, his horny fox side making him start to moan.

"I can't be mad at you forever, my boy," cooed Hadron as he leaned both heads down to his slick rods, lapping up some of that spurting cum. "We're gonna be here for a while, so I think its best that you get to better know me, heh heh. I'll make you bend to my will whether you like it or not." The foxtaur heads gave caressing tongue laps on the tapered tips as they sucked down the seed he kept spurting out, causing Ryan to moan and shudder in pleasure as he felt himself as a black cock of his own body. He slowly craved release as the wraith teased him with his paws, eventually pulling his maw completely over the member and idly sucking while the human shuddered about as a throbbing rod.

Raising his head with a satisfying gulp, Hadron licked his maw clean as he saw his orbs twitch in their pouch, begging for a release from all the pent up pressure. The demon only snickered as he held it back with his strong will, while the weaker willed human could only groan in pain and pleasure sweeping over his fleshy exterior. "What's yours is mine now, Ryan," taunted Hadron as he folded Ryan's member with his big paw. "After all, friends help one another. Friends share their things, remember? And as of now, I'm your NEW best friend," the wraith bellowed out a hearty laugh as he murrled back to his other head, resting them in his paws as he leaned back into the dirt, leaving the leaking members to sway about with his big swooshing tail.

Sparks began to fly out of empty air as the two idle heads glanced up from their rest. He could feel the energy of the area fluctuate rapidly as a tear in the plane began to form, causing him to lean the taur body over and rise on his massive paws with anticipation for whatever was coming through. In a matter of seconds, his question was answered as a scowl drew over his muzzle upon seeing a silver furred feline be tossed to the dirt slathered ground. The creatures entranced cocks bobbed and drizzled fresh seed while the foxtaur glared down its enemy, Ryan still lulling in a state of discord.

Bolt shook his head as he started to propel himself to his feet, only to stop midway as the massive beast loomed over him, its claws grinding into the rocks nearby. "Back for another round of punishment, boy?," Hadron growled as he huffed hot clouds of air into Bolt's face while he dusted his fur off.

The lombax shook his head, standing his ground just a few feet away. "I didn't come here to settle things with you Hadron," barked back Bolt with a fire in his eyes. The rift swirled behind him with a small pull, dust flying about as he shook a fist at him. "Ryan, are you in there? Listen to-," he started to yell, until a swift kick from one of the big red paws smashed into his chest, sending him flying into a side rock.

"You weak cat," mocked the foxtaur as Bolt tried to catch a second wind. "My power is absolute in this plane. Your magic or antics can't change any of this, no matter what you do!"

Bolt smirked as he looked up at one of the heads, wiping a dribble of blood from his mouth. "I...don't intend to do anything...against you," retorted the lombax.

"Ryan! Please if you can hear me, you have to fight back!," yelled Bolt. "I know your will is stronger this, and so does this shadow wraith. Don't let him win. Only you can take back your body!"

Deep in the wet bowls of the cumming rod, Ryan's ethereal form floated in a hypnotic state, constantly being fed dark thoughts from Hadron's mind outside. Yet for once, he could hear a faint cry in the distance, trying to overshadow the murmurs of the wraith. It started low, but eventually began to grow and grow. Wha..what...I can hear...someone, Ryan thought to himself as his memories resurfaced. Gotta...do something.

The foxtaur charged Bolt head on, but the feline swung around its side as it crashed into a large chunk of rock, busting it into chunks as it dazed one of its heads. Bolt knew he only had a short window to work with before the rift destabilized and collapsed, but with every passing second that he prayed for the human, Ryan's will rose stronger and stronger to the point where he started to focus his psyche to a center point in his foxtaur body. Fortunately for him, the wraith was still consumed with rage at the lombax's antics in trying to crush him, so he couldn't have possibly noticed his control slipping away quickly from the former human.

Focus Ryan..., the human echoed to himself as his inner will started to blaze forth. The fox and me are one, the fox and me are one... He kept echoing the phrase for nearly a minute as his ethereal form rapidly shifted to the anthro side of his animal self, the foxy fursona of his soul melding into place as it joined with him in the meditation state. Their forms began to overlap to the point where they had become one in mind and spirit. Suddenly, midway through another slam into the ground, Hadron's foxtaur body began to buckle to his knees as he felt a sweeping sickness creep over him, holding his massive front paws on his white underbelly as he moaned in agony. Bolt gave a satisfied smirk as a bright pool of energy began to illuminate around the demonic taur's stomach and cocks, sensing Ryan's spirit energy beginning to flow out.

Within seconds, Hadron's two heads let out a gut-wrenching howl as light energy flooded out of his chest, spilling in a pool right in the middle of the two combatants as the light began to rise and meld into the shape of Ryan. Standing before the feline with a look of satisfaction in his eyes, he nodded as the anthro fox lowered his paws to his sides and opened his blue eyes, taking in the area and happy feline in his sights.

"Woah...where am I-," Ryan started to mutter, only to drop onto his furry knee as he brought a paw to his head. An immense headache surged in his skull as it throbbed in pain, most likely from overexerting his thoughts. He growled as his muzzle shifted about, feeling his course fur get caked in the dirt and his muscles soar all over from being spent of energy.

Bolt's expression dramatically shifted to growing concern as he glanced over at the rift, seeing it already begin to fade as he rushed over to help the tired fox to his feet. "Hang on Ryan, I'll get you out of here," he reassured the fox as one of the red paws clung onto a shoulder. Hadron had already begun to rise back on his feet as his taur form began to deteriorate, since he no longer had a host body. Bolt wasted little time as he threw an arm over himself and quickly tapped the armband with a relay info to the woman on the other side. She was their only chance of getting out, and it had to be quick. Hadron cursed in a foul tongue as he struggled to reach out and halt the duo from leaving, will as much dark energy he had left to hold them in place. But before he could do anything, a bright aura rushed in a circle about the lombax and fox as they shut their eyes and let the energy sweep over; seconds later, they reopened their eyes with a stunned look as they saw the trashed up facility they were in again. They were back in RiftVeil.

Ryan immediately collapsed to the floor, his fox muscles throbbing with stress as he panted heavily. He could hardly get any words out as Bolt knelt down next to him, quickly running a scan over his body with his armband to check his vitals. Unsurprisingly, the data showed things were pretty severe: his heart rate had begun to dip to dangerous levels, his pupils were still dilated from stress on his nervous system, and almost a third of his muscle fiber junctions were strained or torn from over exertion in the transformation and separation from the wraith. To make matters worse, the feline grimaced over the rising temperature reading: 129 degrees was his body temperature! To be fair, most anthros that shift can retain a comfortable temperature of up to 110-115 degrees, since the change takes a lot of thermal energy to progress. But if the temperature reached upward to 140 degrees, it could prove fatal and shock the anthro's heart out of sync. Bolt had to act fast.

"Bolt, are you alright?," asked the woman as she checked his shoulder, getting a hasty nod from the lombax as he started to get Ryan to his feet.

"Yea, I'm fine, don't worry about me," he said with haste as he began to shuffle in place, the heavy weighted fox anthro being difficult to hold up. "Err give me a hand with him will ya." She quickly acknowledged, dropping the green book as she grabbed a big paw and pulled Ryan's arm over her shoulder, using all her strength to keep him up.

"My god...he feels like he's on fire!," she remarked with a shock look as they dragged him across the open area to a nearby medical station.

"I know...his body temp is gonna shut down his whole body if we don't get fluids in him," Bolt replied through gritted teeth, swiping his keycard as the doors slide open and the fox was dragged in.

The rest of the night went well for the former human as a few of the medical staff worked with the mysterious woman to stabilize the new fox. Bolt figured it would be best to make sure some of the damages got looked into and cleaned up in the meantime, though the regret he felt still shook him to the core. Over the span of 12 hours, Ryan's condition drastically began to improve once his muscles were tended to and massaged while he was fed electrolytes and IV fluids. It would seem that his body adjusted back to normal well. But concerns still raced about how his mind would be affected in the long term after such a rigorous ordeal.

As morning came in the lab, Ryan awoke from his slumber, giving a loud yawn with his muzzle as he turned in the comfy bed. His eyes nearly bulged out when he saw the tip of his muzzle and his outstretched paws, freaking out somewhat at the realization that he was still in his werefox form. But for some reason, after taking a few breaths, a warm feeling pulsed over him. He felt a reassuring aura over take him, like someone was with him, connected with him. Giving a chuckle, it seemed obvious now: he had finally came to terms with the fox spirit that had always been there with him, lying dormant for so long. And yet now, they were fully merged to the core. It felt good to be with the fox, to exist as his anthro self and discarding his human side for good. It was as if Ryan was finally free from a long conflict that plagued him for years.

"Sleep well?," a voice rang out as Ryan's fox ears perked up, making him shift his head to the door as the person entered, their blue-tip tail swaying idly about.

"Yeah...I think so," Ryan replied, moving his feet over to the side of the bed, stretching his fuzzy toes. "Err, where am I- oh," he muttered once he saw the IV drip, still imbedded in his big right arm. "What happened? Everything still feels...blurry."

Bolt shook his head with a smirk as he grabbed a chair to sit down. "Take it easy for now; you've been through a lot over the past 24 hours, and you still need the rest while your body recovers for the next day." He gave the fox's leg a rub of assurance as he reached over to the table to hand him his phone from earlier.

"O crap, the concert." His ears drooped slightly, realizing he missed it last night.

"Sorry about that," Bolt apologized.

"Eh, its fine. You aren't to blame man," the fox remarked as he cracked his neck, wincing somewhat as his muscles were still a bit sore.

"Well about that," the lombax said as he rose to his feet, walking over to lean against the side wall. "Let me be the first to say that all of us here are ashamed for what happened to you. We've never had this kind of incident happen to a client before, but we still feel at fault on the issue. And now because of that, you're well...stuck like this permanently," he gestured with a paw. Out of nowhere, his ears perked up as he heard a hearty laugh come from the yellow fox.

"Hah, y'all have nothing to be ashamed of honestly," Ryan said as he stared back at Bolt, who looked puzzled. "If anything, I should be thanking you all for what you did. I feel more alive than I ever had in years," he boasted as he flexed his paws and stroked his bushy tail, wagging happily. "I tried to shut out and control the closest thing I ever had to a friend for so long, and now...I can start a clean slate with him. And I have y'all to thank for that," he smiled as the lombax started to blush some. "Come here, man!" In a split second, the IV thread dangled about as the fox leapt to his feet and gave the feline a big hug, nearly choking the life out of Bolt as he tapped his arm to catch his breath.

The lombax panted heavily before speaking back, steadying himself. "I..I don't know what to say about that Ryan," he rambled. "But nonetheless, as I'd imagine Magnus would feel the same in my position, I must ask. Is there anything I can do to at least rectify this mishap?"

"Hmmm..," Ryan pondered as he rubbed under his chin. "You know, this might be odd but...could I maybe work for y'all?"

"Come again?," Bolt said with an awkward sweat on his brow, surprised by the suggestion. "Work for us? Here?"

"Yea man," Ryan grinned back. "This place is amazing, and I really admire what y'all do. Plus I'm pretty handy with mechanics and computers, and my new fox body can definitely pull its own weight around," he remarked as he flexed an arm, then moaned from the pain. "Errr...too much.."

Bolt chuckled as he patted the fox on his tattooed shoulder. "Sure...I'm just really shocked to be honest. But you seem like a great guy, and if it means making amends for what you went through, I'm definitely game. I even think Magnus will love having you onboard," he smiled back.

"By the way, where is Dr. Zero anyway?," Ryan questioned. "I'd love to meet him and thank him for helping me out."

Bolt's face went stern for a brief moment, but he shrugged it off as he helped the fox get resituated in his bed. "He's still out of the office for another few days taking care of..personal things last I checked. But you'll get to see him sometime in the next few days once he gets back. I'll let him know later this evening."

"Heh heh, sounds good Bolt," the fox said as he gave the feline a paw-bump.

"Now get some rest Ryan," Bolt replied as he headed for the door. "I think the nurse will be by later to give you a paw massage and check your IV bag, so mind your manners." He stuck out his tongue as he shut the door, hearing the fox chuckle as he kicked back in his bed, staring up at the lighted ceiling with a gleam in his eyes. Tomorrow, he would be starting a new page in his tale, only he would have his own tail to come along with it now.
