A refresher course in cuddling
#16 of Rio's Saga
Kody admits to lacking knowledge in an important skill, and Rio happily teaches him everything he knows on the subject.Edited to establish continuity. Rio's dad no longer knows about his diapers
Entering the bathroom, Rio slid the still clean diaper down his legs and stashed it inside the cabinet under the sink to make sure it stayed dry before stepping into the shower. Not wanting to waste any of the bunny spunk coating his fur, the little tiger scraped as much of it from his face as he could, murring as he suckled the cooling cream from his fingers, his cubhood twitching between his legs. Looking down, he grinned as his little pink tip began poking up. As tempting as it was to indulge his awakening yiffstick, he didn't want to leave the bunny on his own for longer then necessary. Shaking his head, he cranked the shower to full and stepped into the near scalding spray.
MEANWHILE
Back down on the main floor, Kody was leaning on the kitchen counter, braced on his forearms, contemplating the past few days as his freshly washed face fur dripped into the sink. He hadn't been entirely honest with Rio when he told his story. Chris and his dealers had jumped him in his bed, that much was true. However, it had started years ago when he was seven, not months, and it had happened much more then three times... He had been fucked in his bed, in Chris' bed, he had been dragged to random houses and used by entire rooms full of furs waiting to buy drugs, he had even been taken in bathroom stalls at the grocery store and the library. He was worthless. Every single experience he had, every fiber of his being, the mocking memory of Chris' words echoing in the back of his memory... Everything he knew told him without a shadow of a doubt that he just a slutty little cum dumpster whose only purpose in life was to keep his brother supplied with drugs and lift his tail for anyfur that asked. He hated it, as much as they tried to make him beg or say he liked it, no matter how many times they hit him, he remained defiant. Through it all his will stayed strong, because he still had school as his safe haven. Until he got cornered in the locker room... He had fought with everything he had, and it hadn't been enough. If he had been taken there, forced to submit and lift tail in his last remaining sanctuary... As he hung between the huskies, defeated, his hold on the happy memories of his parents and Ricky had started to slip. The spark of hope fueling his defiance had began to fade. Maybe Chris was right... maybe he was just there to be used. Not even a real fur, not really, just a warm body to fuck. Maybe if he gave up and played along they might be nicer to him, and who knows? Maybe he'd learn to like it after all... Then Toby showed up and saved him. That one act of kindness, even if the parrot had listened and left him laying there, was enough to bolster his failing spirit. He hadn't though. He had carried him all the way from school to Rio's house, and there the bunny had been surprised again. An entire family and group of cubs had banded together, not only to make sure that he was okay after his little scuffle, but determined to keep him safe for the long haul. No longer was he the outcast that nobody wanted to talk to, nor was he the cummy bunny in the corner for any spaced out, drugged up, barely coherent, fur to rut into until they passed out inside of him. No, he was Kody again. He even had a girlfriend! And now, he found that sex, the once vile and evil, terribly humiliating and almost unbearably painful, unspeakable act of betrayal... Could be something else. Something... good. Shaking his head, the bunny grabbed a towel and dried his face off. He needed to talk to someone about this, but the only other person in the house was taking a shower. He could call one of the other cubs in Rio's group, but he didn't know their numbers. Unless... he turned and reached for the tiger's phone, jumping nearly out of his fur as it rang just as his fingers touched it. Taking a few deep breaths to slow his heart beat, he picked up the cub's phone, checking the screen. The tiger's mom was calling. He had said to answer it if his dad called, but this was kind of the same thing, so... "H-hello, Mrs. Kendrick. R-rio is in the shower." Kody said nervously as he answered the phone. "Oh," the tigress replied after a brief moment of silence, "Well, hello. This is Kody, then, right?" "Yeah, should I not have answered Rio's phone? He said to answer if his dad called, but you're not his dad." The bunny sank to sit on the floor, leaning against the cabinet under the sink. "No, no it's fine, sweetie, really," she insisted, hearing the nervous fear in the bunny's voice, "Me and his dad are kind of in the same boat when it comes to these things, you made the right call. Actually, you might be able to help me. I heard that Rio and Mike got into a fight today, is everyone alright? As usual, my wonderful yet completely unhelpful husband only left enough details to worry me and is now not answering his phone." "Oh, okay," Kody smiled despite his nerves at the description of Rio's dad, "I wasn't with them, but I think everyone's okay. Rio has a few cuts on his muzzle, but that's it." "Well, that's good. Do you know why the fight started?" "I-..." Kody took a deep breath, and when he started speaking again his voice was shaking, "It was my fault... A bunch of my brother's friends showed up at school and were looking for me, but they ran into Mike and Rio first. Everybody had their claws painted and so they started making fun of them and they started fighting and if they weren't sticking up for me they wouldn't have gotten hurt and-" "No, Kody, stop." Rio's mom hard interrupted him, cutting the bunny off almost mid word, "This is not your fault, sweetie, not even a little bit. Your brother chose to hurt you. My son and his friends chose to stick up to for you, and those boys chose to hurt them because of it. It took a great many furs to get to this point, and at every step of the way, any one of them could have made a choice to stop it. You are not at fault, Kody, so don't feel bad, because I can promise you that neither Mike nor my son regret their decisions today. As a matter of fact, they are probably proud as hell of themselves for protecting you." "O-okay..." Kody whispered, looking up as he heard the door to the bathroom open, "Um... I think Rio's out of the shower now, did you want to talk to him?" "Yes, thank you Kody." The tigress replied, affectionate smile clearly audible in her voice. "You're welcome, Mrs. Kendrick," he said, standing up just as Rio came off the stairs, blushing at the sight of the tiger. Rio was starkers. The tiger cub had his diaper clenched lightly in his teeth and was toweling off his naked form as he walked into the kitchen. "Here, Rio, your mom wants to talk to you." The tiger nodded and took the phone, turning on the speaker and tossing it down onto the bar. "Hey, t'sup?" He called through the diaper, slightly muffled but understandable, and continued toweling himself off. "Nothing much, hon, just calling to check on you. Your dad said you and Mike got into a fight today." "Fight," Rio snorted, taking his diaper out of his mouth and pulling it up into place around his hips, "Wouldn't call it that, I mean bunch of high-schoolers thumped us for a few minutes, but I wouldn't call it a fight. We're alright. Gonna talk to the cops tomorrow though." "The cops?!" The tigress yelled, muttering apologies about her volume to someone on her end before coming back on at a much lower tone, "Your father didn't say anything about- A school yard dust up hardly requires police intervention, what are you and your father not telling me?" "Mom, seriously, we're fine. I mean, we almost weren't, but the baseball team stopped them before they could get my shorts down." "Your shorts d-" his mom yelled again, before catching herself, "that's it, I'm coming home. I'll be home in forty five minutes. You and your father are going to-" "Um.. Mr. Kendrick isn't here" Kody piped up. "He isn't? Where is he?" "He had to go to work for something." Rio replied, "He'll be back in about two hours though." "Fine." She said, through clenched teeth, "I'll be home in two hours." "No!" Rio and Zac called at the same time, glancing at each other in surprise. "Why in the name of the Goddess not?" the tigress asked, clearly vexed, "My son and his friend have been involved in a fight that ended up with the police getting called. Give one good reason for me to stay at work in this scenario." "Well, what would you really do if you came home? Me and Mike are fine, and dad'll call you with more info when he notices your call." "And, ya know," Kody added, "y-you'll get paid less if you come home early, right?" "See? There's two reasons right there, mom, technically three." "There is something here that I'm not being told," the tigress said softly, "and I swear on everything sacred under the benevolent gaze of the great goddess that I will find out what. Until then, you cubs have good points. I'll stay here, but if I don't get answers when I get home..." "Don't worry mom, we'll talk when you get here. I promise. Did you need anything else?" "No. I guess not. I'll see you two later. Be safe." "Will do. Love you mom, bye!" "Have a good day at work, Mrs. Kendrick.." Kody added, just before Rio disconnected the call. Looking over at the bunny, Rio grinned. "So, I know why I didn't want mom to come home yet. I wanna keep my diaper on for as long as possible. What's your story?" "Well...I wanted to talk to you about... stuff," he replied, blushing, "besides, I kind of wanted to... well..." "To what?" Rio asked, tossing his towel onto the bar and jumping up after it, sitting cross legged on the bar top. "You've probably got a bunch of questions, and I'll be happy to answer them all, but I'm curious now. What did you want to do?" "Um, well, what we did before you took your shower was really fun, and I kind of wanted to do that again, but not really. I wanted to feel-" Kody paused, his paws gesturing as he searched for the right word, before shaking his head as nothing came. Changing tracks, he tried again "It wasn't just when you kissed me, or sucked on me, or even when you pawed me off. It was... That is the first time that I can remember that I wasn't terrified when my pants slid past my tail. I mean, when I take baths or even when I'm about to use the toilet, it... it takes a lot longer then it should because I'm scared. I have to psyche myself up to undo my pants cause I keep thinking that someone is going to come bend me over the toilet and-" "Hey," Rio cut him off, leaning forward and grabbing his shoulders, "You don't have to keep explaining it. I think I understand. You felt safe. That's a really cool feeling, and I want you to feel it again. Come on." Relinquishing the bunny's shoulders, Rio rolled backwards into a handstand and walked on his hands to the edge of the bar before pushing off and flipping onto his feet. Reaching back, he grabbed the towel and his phone and started heading for the stairs. "Wow..." Kody said, "That was kind of cool. Where are we going?" "Years of tumbling classes," Rio replied, "and we're going to my room. Again, come on." Clambering up the stairs, the cubs made their way to Rio's room. The tiger closed the door behind him and sat on his bed, facing the bunny standing nervously in the middle of his room. "Okay, so to give you what you're really after, I think the best idea is cuddling." "Cuddling." Kody nodded, "Okay, how do you cuddle? I mean, I think that I used to know, but it hasn't happened for a while, so..." Rio sat in stunned silence for a few moments. The true meaning of that question settled onto the little tiger's shoulders and he felt his eyes start to mist up. Shaking his head before he let it get to him too much, he stood up. "Cuddling is kind of like hugging, but better. You said you wanted to feel safe with your clothes off again, and cuddling is best naked, but we need to get really close to each other to cuddle, so I'll let you decide how much you wanna be wearing. I can even put my shorts back on if you want." "Ummm... no. It's- it's okay," Kody replied, a slight tremor in his shoulders, "You can stay like that. As long as you don't take your diaper off I know you can't... get me, so I think I'll be fine." The rabbit had dropped his shorts and boxers in the living room without hesitation because he was caught up in the afterglow of his first kiss. Now though, after pulling off his shoes and socks, he stood, nearly frozen, for a few seemingly endless moments as he gathered his nerves. Finally, he unbuttoned his shorts and slid them and his boxers to his ankles. With a shaky deep breath he stepped forward, taking his shirt off and dropping it onto the pile of his clothes. Rio sat on the bed, waiting patiently for the bunny to decide what he was comfortable with, and cheered internally as Kody's boxers hit the floor, his cubhood twitching in it's padded confines. "Okay, so come here," he said, scooting backwards, and patting the bed in front of him, "climb on up." With more then a little hesitation, Kody crawled onto the bed in front of Rio and sat on his haunches, looking nervous. "What do I do?" He asked, rubbing his arms. "Just lay down on your side facing the door. That's it, as soon as you're comfortable, I'll do the rest." Shifting his weight, Kody did as instructed, laying on his side and breathing rapidly as his nerves started getting the better of him. "It's okay, Kody, I promise. I won't hurt you." Rio whispered, laying down himself and scooting closer, "Here I come, I'm about to touch you, so don't panic, okay?" The little tiger scooted up against the quivering bunny. Pressing his chest fluff into the fur of the smaller rabbit's back, he brought his legs up to cradle behind Kody's. Finally, he slid his first arm underneath the rabbit's head, giving him a pillow as he wrapped his other arm around Kody's chest and pulled him into a hug. "This is cuddling," he whispered into Kody's ears, "and nobody should ever forget how to do it." Kody's muscles tensed as soon as Rio had touched him. He was at full tension the entire time the tiger was getting situated, and for a moment or two afterwards. At the tiger's words though, something inside of him let go. All of the tension leaked from him and he dissolved into Rio's embrace, resting his head on the stripped arm below him and allowing himself to be pulled back. "Thank you, Rio..." he whispered back, "This is exactly what I wanted...." "I know," the tiger replied and began purring, the rhythmic rumbling transferring into Kody's back, "We can stay here as long as you want. At least until my dad get's home, anyway. Oh, ummm... I promise that I have no intention to use it, but you smell really good and I think you're kind of cute, so if my cubhood starts poking you through my diaper, I'm sorry." As soon as Rio's purring flooded through him, Kody's eyes closed and he pushed back deeper into the tiger's warmth. The consequence of this was that the warning came to pass, and Kody's rump pushed back against the tiger's bulge, Rio's padded tip sliding up underneath Kody's tail. Freezing instantly at the touch, Kody tensed again, squeezing his eyes shut as memory after memory flooded through his mind at the familiar sensation of pressure under his tail. Feeling the rabbit tense up again, Rio immediately shifted his hips back, breaking contact. "I'm so sorry, Kody, I promise that I didn't mean to!" he said, hugging the rabbit tightly, hie erection rapidly diminishing under the onslaught of guilt. "It's okay..." the bunny said weakly, "I moved backwards. I know you wouldn't... wait." he craned his neck around and met Rio's gaze, "You think I'm cute? Like, really?" "Well, yeah," Rio nodded, "You are. I've always thought that bunnies were pretty cute in general, especially white bunnies." The tiger started to run his fingers through the downy soft fur on Kody's chest as he kissed the rabbit's nose, "And you, Kody, are the cutest one I've ever seen." "Oh... well, you're cute too." Kody replied, a small smile playing across his face. "Um.. I wanna keep cuddling, but I don't want your..." "Yeah, so you can turn around and face me, then it won't poke at your tailhole." "Okay, so like this?" Kody asked, squirming around until the cubs were nose to nose. "Yeah, like that." Rio replied, hugging the bunny close again, "This way is kind of cool too, because we can do this." "Do wh-" Kody's question was interrupted as Rio's lips met his. The tiger kissed the bunny chastely, just small pecks on the lips, not wanting to spook the smaller cub again. After a moment though, his eyes widened as he felt the smaller fur's tongue poke at his muzzle. Happily parting his lips, Rio let the rabbit's tongue inside his mouth, letting the cute little fur dominate the kiss as he pulled him closer and rolled onto his back, pulling Kody on top of him. Both cubs lost track of time as they made out with each other, Rio's otherwise silent room filling up with the noise of wet kisses. Eventually, Rio became aware of a second, crinkly sound, and a growing pressure between his legs. Opening eyes he didn't remember closing, he glanced down and saw what his returning senses were trying to tell him. Kody had gotten rock hard again, and his little cottontail was bobbing back and forth as the rabbit reflexively bucked his hips, the white bunny's red rocket sliding back and forth against Rio's own padded three inches. Moaning into Kody's mouth, Rio hugged the smaller fur tighter to his chest and started thrusting back against him. Kody whimpered and started bucking faster, shoving his tongue as far into Rio's mouth as it would go and grabbing a double handful of the quilt beneath the tiger. So close... so very close... just a few more... Breaking the kiss and throwing his head back, tongue lolling out with a thick strand of mixed spit running from it's tip down into Rio's mouth, Kody gasped and moaned as he shot his second ever load up all over Rio's chest, his tool bouncing and twitching as it painted the panting tiger's fur. A moment later, totally spent, Kody collapsed back onto Rio, his own cum soaking into his chest fur. Rio had been close as well when Kody came on him, and it was the combination of being painted for the second time that day and the sudden pressure of the bunny landing on him that sent him groaning over the edge, holding his bunny close as he creamed his diaper. "Not that I'm complaining..." he panted, rolling the bunny off of him and watching the strands of cum stretch between them before snapping, "but I just took a shower, and I'm all sticky again." "Oh... yeah..." Kody laughed shyly, "Me too..." "Don't worry, I can clean us up." Rio chuckled, rolling to his feet, he walked to the closet and returned with the small pack of wipes that Mike had left him. Sitting next to the rabbit, he pulled one out and started to gently wipe the cooling bunny spunk from the white fur. "Ah," Kody flinched, blushing as Rio looked at him with an eyebrow raised, "it's cold..." "Sorry," Rio smiled, "I'll try and find a way to warm em up next time you shoot all over your belly." Kody smiled back and laid against Rio's blanket as he lovingly cleaned him up. Tossing the soiled wipes into the garbage can next to his desk, the tiger grabbed a few fresh ones and went to clean himself off, but Kody stopped him. "Wait... I-" the bunny blushed, "Can I, ya know... Clean you?" "Sure!" Rio smiled ear to ear, handing the bunny the pack and laying back, purring as Kody started to gently wipe at his chest. "That's really cool, you know." Kody said softly, working his way down to the soft fur on Rio's belly. "What is?" Rio asked, lifting his head up, "My belly button?" "No, not you're belly button," the bunny laughed, "that rumbling stuff." "Rumbling stuff... you mean my purr?" Rio laughed, not realizing that he had even started doing it, "Have you never heard purring before?" "Uh, well, no..." Kody paused, having reached the top of Rio's diaper, "Rabbits don't do it, and I don't have any friends. Well, I didn't, anyway. D-did you need to be changed?" "Hmm? No, well, yes, but it can wait. I can do it later, if you're not comfortable around... ya know." "Thanks," Kody said, throwing the wipes into the trash can and sitting akwardly next to Rio. "Oh come on, don't just sit there," Rio laughed, "Come cuddle again. I just shot off, so my cubhood shouldn't poke you again, I promise. Besides, this is a good a chance as any to feel purring." After a brief hesitation, Kody let a small smile play across his muzzle and he crawled over to lay next to the tiger, snuggling back against his chest and letting himself relax into the soothing vibes of Rio's purring. Rio pulled him closer and hugged him tight, thinking of all the happiest things he could so that he'd purr nice and hard for his fluffy bunny. The two cubs lay together, motionless save for Rio's fingers trailing through Kody's belly fur, not even speaking until they heard the sound of the garage door opening. "Well," Rio sighed, pulling his arm out from under his friend's fuzzy frame, "Dad's home. Time to get dressed." "Do we have to?" Kody asked, not wanting to get up, "Can't we just, ya know, pretend we're asleep or something?" "At almost three in the afternoon? He'd never believe it." The tiger replied, vaulting over the bunny and landing on the bed. Picking up Kody's clothes, he tossed them to the recalcitrant rabbit and hesitated over his own clothes. Deciding to just roll with it, he stepped into his shorts and pulled them up over his diaper. Grabbing his shirt, he pulled it over his head as he opened the door and stepped out into the hallway. "See ya downstairs." He got to the living room just as his dad stepped in from the garage, muttering about stupid shippers and misfiled manifests. "Everything okay dad? Want me to make you something to eat?" "Huh?" The elder tiger looked up, "Yeah, I'm fine, just a bit annoyed because that entire trip shouldn't have happened, and food would be great, thanks." "They mess up the paperwork again?" Rio asked, crossing to the kitchen and grabbing the pan out of the dish rack. "Whatcha wanting?" "Grease." His dad groused, moving behind his son to get a pot of coffee going. "Oooh, that bad, huh?" The little tiger chuckled, grabbing bacon and sasauge from the fridge. "Yeah, that bad, and on my day off too! I had agreed to go in and do an emergency load, the guy just COULDN'T wait. Had to have his shipment by no later then the thirteenth." "But, today's the tenth." Rio looked over from the sizzling pan, confused. "Hence my irritation." His dad nodded, grabbing his cup of coffee, "Thank the goddess for express brew coffee pots... Anyway, if the guy had just told me the ship-by date, it could have waited till Monday." "Man," the cub chuckled, "that sucks." Flipping the bacon and sausage off onto a platter, he dumped a bunch of frozen hash browns into the leftover grease. "Hello, Mr. Kendrick," Kody said politely as he came down the stairs, sniffing. "Hey, kiddo," the tiger replied, raising his cup in a salute as he sat at the breakfast bar, "You two do alright while I was gone?" "Yeah," the rabbit replied, waving shyly in response to the salute, "You're wife called, I don't think she's too happy with you." "Oh yeah," the tiger cub laughed, "I forgot about that, she said you didn't tell her any details, and threatened to come home early." "Oooh," his dad shook his head, "I was in a rush after your school called me and just gave her the basics. Then I turned my phone off for the delivery..." He looked over at his phone as if it might bite him, "Lunch first. I am not facing that on an empty stomach." "Can't blame ya," Rio chuckled, plating up the food and sliding one in front of his dad, one in front of Kody, and one for himself, "She's scary when she's angry." "Thanks" the bunny nodded, moving into the kitchen. He poured two glasses of juice and brought them to the bar, setting one next to Rio and climbing onto a stool. "Thanks yourself," Rio replied, hopping onto his stool, diaper crinkling as he made contact. "You know," his dad chuckled, after taking a bite of has browns, "You're going to have to learn to move in those things if you want to hide them from your mother." "Huh?" Rio cocked his head in confusion, then blushed and laughed himself, "Oh, yeah, guess I better start thinking of stuff like that, huh?" "Yeah, unless you want to explain them to her, and again, she's not going to be as patient as I am." "Yeah," nodding, Rio took a bite of food himself, "I think I'll just not wear them when she's around for now." His dad just laughed and nodded, the room settling into comfortable silence as the three furs tucked into lunch.
