After the Dogfight with the SU-47, Amber passed out on the ground of the green alien world...

Arma was frustrated...

She growled as she hunted the same deer she had been stalking for nearly two hours. She attempted to kill this creature twice now, but every time it was exactly where she wanted it, the damn thing got spooked by another creature and bolted off. Most dragons would have just switched targets, but Arma, if anything, was stubborn.

She had followed the male deer to a wide opening in the forest, her green scales allowing her to blend in the foliage fairly easily. She was at the tree line overlooking the opening, her eyes fixed on her target. The deer itself was completely clueless, simply eating the grass and plants below it with no interest in anything but eating.

Arma licks her lips with her forked tongue, her claws digging into the ground. Just a little closer, and the blood of her pray will be spilled, and she will enjoy a great meal tonight. She didn't dare move however, it was almost 30 meters away from her, and although her instincts told her to leap over the foliage and tear out its neck now, she wanted it to move closer. That way, there was absolutely no way it could run and hide, and her meal would be secured.

It took a couple minutes before the deer became satisfied with the patch of grass it was feasting on, and it began to move, walking closer to the forest edge. Arma licks her lips again, her pray had no where to go, no where to hide, it was as good as dead. Just. A little. Closer!

An explosion sounded off above Arma, causing the deer to panic and run. Arma jumps out of the foliage and looks up, wondering what on earth that noise was.

There in the sky, a silver object was falling out of the sky. It was long and wide, a cylinder with large triangular edges. From here on the ground, it looked like a cheep imitation of a bird. However, it still looked alive and alien to her. It was unnatural.

The strange silver bird pulled out of the dive, and began to fly level and bank right.

'What in the Nine Hells is that...' she asked herself. Arma spread her wings, intending to get a better look at it.

Out of the clouds, behind the silver bird, a new object arrived. This one was black with forward swept wings. The new arrival was rapidly advancing on the silver's tail.

'Perhaps they are-' Arma began to think, before the Black bird began to spit two fire balls at the Silver. These fire balls were not like a dragon's however, these ones left a white trail in their wake, and looked faster than her. Arma folded her wings, realizing watching this fight might be safer than flying in the middle of this.

The Silver banks hard, avoiding the odd fire balls by a breath. The Black followed however, just as the missed fire balls slammed into a mountain overlooking her valley. The resulting explosions from them seemingly shook the foundation of the mountain, and from here, Arma could see a rock slide.

Arma looks back up to the odd birds in fascination and horror. The Silver was dull being chased by the Black, despite it trying its best to roll and weave away. Arma felt kinda bad for the Silver, for if it couldn't shake the Predator hot on its tail, it would surly die.

Arma sat and watched the dance of death before the Silver started climbing straight up, the Black followed it through the clouds. Even on the ground, Arma could hear their angry wailing, their attacks scorch the skies, and the distane explosion. When they entered the clouds however, silence fell.

Arma sat there for a little longer, watched the clouds closely for the odd birds.

She didn't need to wait long.

The Black soon tumbled out of the clouds, falling straight down. Closely behind it was the Silver, pouring a line of red from it's nose into the black. This line of red was like a laser, tearing the black apart piece by piece. Arma watched as the Black was gutted and torn apart until it's riddled corpse slammed into the ground, and an explosion shook the ground beneath her.

Arma looks back up to the Silver, her maw agape. This didn't feel right or natural. This thing was unworldly and alive. This thing was trailing black smoke. Arma watched as the giant silver bird slowed down and slowly turned to the left, before finally facing a clearing and beginning to descend. This clearing that the Silver was clearly set on landing in was the very same one Arma was in. Arma turns around and dived back into the cover of the brush, hoping to stay out of sight and catch a closer look at this thing.

The ground under her feet shook as the thing finally touched down and rolled forward to a stop, the Silver was deafening loud and Arma covered her head with her forepaws. The noise dies away, and Arma dared a look through the brush.

She was greeted by the sight of a large construct, easily four times her size. It was made of metal and stood tall on three metal legs. It's cone like nose bent to form a thin body with large triangular wings coming out of its sides. It had two smaller triangular pieces coming out of its tail, and two large triangular formations sticking out like fins in the rear.

However, two things caught Arma's attention. The first was on the nose and the red etchings of a fierce dragon she has never seen. The dragon looked feral, despite the etching just being a head. It had four large horns that curved back, a snarl on its face, small flames from the nostrils, and unmatched fury in its strikingly blue eyes. Truly, whoever had drawn this was a master at their craft.

The second thing was just above the nose drawing. On the “neck" of the construct was a large glass dome that was completely sealed. However, from here it looked like someone or something was moving inside. Arma nearly took a step out of the foliage.

Suddenly, the glass dome unlatched with a loud clang, and raised up. This caused Arma to stop and duck back, not knowing what might emerge. She never would've been able to predict what happened next. A white rope ladder was thrown out the side and reached down to the ground, and something stood out of the dome. Arma watched as a figure climb down the ladder slowly.

The figure was slim and slightly shorter than her. It stood on two legs and it's two arms hung off it's shoulders, one of its forepaws grabbing the ladder. No, forepaw wasn't the right word. It grasped like a claw, but it was thinner and longer. The figure was dressed in a tight looking suit, and a large helmet was on its head, an obsidian visor and face mask blocking her view of its face.

It was producing loud, ragged breathing, and Arma was worried that this thing would collapse right here. Turns out she wasn't too far off. The being took two very shaky and uneasy steps forward, then collapsed face first into the grass.

Arma was stunned, excited, fearful and cautious all at the same time. She didn't know what this thing was, its construct, or where it came from. However, something drove her out of the bushes and out of the open. She wanted to investigate, she was above all curious after all.

She slowly approached the mysterious being, and tapped a talon on its head. Upon not receiving a response, she flipped the being over and observed it's 'face'.

It's 'face' was completely black, and it's visor was so reflective that it reminded her of a reflection in a still pond or mirror. It's face mask had a tube too, leading from where the mouth would be to the chest. Arma cocked her head to the side. How could it see? How can it hear? And how can it even breath? These questions will stay unanswered.

Arma then noticed something on its chin, and it reminded her of a strap. Arma frowned and moved closer to get a better look. This strap appears to connect the face mask and helmet. With a pair of her claws, she undid the strap, and the mask nearly popped off. She frowns, and placed her paws on either side of the helmet, and she breathed. She pulled up.

The helmet slid off to reveal a smooth and pale, black hair sticking to the face as sweat still glistened off the brow. Her eyes were closed and her red lips were slightly opened in a resting position, breathing slowly and deliberately as she slept. To Arma, she smelled of sweat, copper, and roases. An odd combination of smells to be sure, but to the dragon, this being struck her as beautiful, but incredibly fragile.

'A Human!?' She thought to herself in near panic and awe. Humans were just myths and fairytales you tell to whymlings, but here was one right before her. Humans were creatures created by the gods before Dragons. Once Dragons came to this world, Humanity became interested with them and have given knowledge to the animalistic, primitive Dragons as a gift. The gift of knowledge from Humanity gave Dragons their intelligence and connection to magic. However the gods didn't appreciate this, and for that Humanity was banished to a hellish reality, only a handful staying behind to die in the gods' captivity. Humans were described as tall and thin entities with the gift of creativity from the Gods, using it to create structures and technology beyond Dragon understanding.

At her claws, was one such Human, rumored to be extinct for 10,000 years...

Throwing her shock to the side, Arma quickly picked up the human with her jaw, and lays her on her back to carry her.

'I need to get her to shelter...' she thought. Night will approach soon, and she just wasn't going to leave her to die to some animal...

Amber woke with a groan and throbbing headache, it felt like she had been decked in the head by a sledgehammer while she slept. The light hurt her eyes and she rolled away from it, groaning louder. Eventually, even the dim reflection of the light hurt her closed eyes, and she just threw the sheets over her head.

Wait... Sheets?

There were no sheets this comfortable and warm on the Ohio. Hell, there wasn't enough sheets for everyone on board! Then... whose sheets were these?

Amber cracked her eyes open, her throbbing headache making it feel like her eyes were being rapidly drained and then filled with blood. Under the sheets and was greeted with a black color of shadows as she tries to cover her face from the dim light in the room, but the sheets looked incredibly soft. Something she couldn't feel through her flight suit. She growled a little and tried to look over the sheets to look at her surroundings.

It looks like she was in a cave just by looking at the wall. It was a gray brown color with jagged edges that appeared to be smoothed down by sharp tools to get rid of the hazard. From what she knew, caves were very dark, cramped and damp, however this cave was warm and spacious, with two torches on opposing walls and even an end table with her helmet neatly set on top.

Amber frowns. This wasn't right. This room felt empty and too big, like it was built to hold six people comfortably, and the bed she laid in was so big she could stretch out her arms and legs like a star and she still would have enough room for someone else to lay beside her.

And the door...

The door the bed was facing across the room was large enough to fit a 4 wheeler through with enough space to spread her arms. This place was built like a fortress in a cave to house lots of people, but it looked like someone decided to make it their personal home.

Questions began to run through her throbbing head. Such as: Where was I? How did I get here? Who is taking care of me? Are the friends? Was she hallucinating grass and rolling hills, or was that all a dream? Amber sat up, groans and grabbed her head. Thinking hard with a headache this bad was absolute hell...

*Click*

Amber looks up to the sound of a metallic click of the handle on the large door begingto turn.

'Looks like I'm going to get some answers...' she thought.

The door opens to reveal a large, green lizard like creature. It's serpentine neck was lowered a bit to fit through the low hanging doorway and into the room, it's horns nearly scraping against the roof of the cave. Large wings were tucked against its sides and a powerful tail slowly slid side to side. It stood on four muscular legs that looked strong enough to crush stone.

It looked at her, their eyes locking upon each other. Her blue eyes could see her own reflection in the creature's eyes as it looked her over. It opens it's maw, filled to the brim with sharp teeth designed to tear into flesh and crush bone, as if to speak.

“Oh, you're finally awake. Are you okay?" It... no she asked. Her voice was so calming and gentle like silk, but it still held power behind it. Her voice sounded concerned as well.

NowAmber was a grown and responsible woman, and she did what any sane, grown responsible woman would have done in her situation.

She fainted.
