Dad said he finally got a bit of a breakthrough on the case. A new murder had been brought to his attention, this time of two female subjects poisoned and subsequently found carved to pieces at the side of a road which was a deviation from the killer's pattern of targeting single males. They were found in the town over and before he could say anymore Mom got really upset saying talk like that didn't have a place at the dinner table. Dad tried to reassure her saying that she didn't need to worry. Their wedding ring was protection against this sicko who was only going after lost souls.

Hannah and I have gotten everything prepped for tomorrow. We went over the plan who knows how many times down to the smallest detail. Hannah mentioned wanting to go over a bit earlier in case they start letting people in before 4. I think that's a good idea. Time for some sweet payback!

Tonight's been a huge mess. Hannah and I were able to get to the game fine, and we even got past Tony who was content to listen to my rambling about the latest anime online while Hannah sneaked by to drop the allergen doses in the drinks. We took our spots in the game and sure enough early into the first quarter we noticed Norman drop an easy first-down pass looking dizzy on the field. A few minutes later, Terry was substituted in and readied himself on the line. He placed his hands onto the ground, wobbled a bit from side to side, then fell face first, bringing about a false start penalty from the referee. The stadium roared with boos, but then grew silent as Terry's body started violently convulsing. The players backed up while the coach ran out onto the field shouting for paramedics. He was still shaking and gasping when they wheeled him off on a gurney off the field.

Hannah and I had just looked horrified at each other and then slunk away from the rest of the crowd as we made our way back home. This isn't what I wanted to have happen at all. I don't like either of those two, but this wasn't right.

Terry was back in class today, but he looked miserable. I'm not sure what kind of treatment he was given at the hospital, but it must have taken a lot out of him. A part of me kept wanting to go over to him and say "Sorry.", but what would that do? I'm trying to forget the whole thing ever happened and focus on classes.

At least they didn't bother either of us today.

Today Hannah opened up a bit about what's been going on with her. We were sitting together again at lunch outside away from everyone else and I asked why she was staring at the gray, heavy clouds outside. She talked about how where she was from they didn't get very much rain during the year, so it was odd seeing it so much more often here. When I mustered up the courage to ask why her family had moved here, she told me that her father wanted to forget about what had happened with her mom. Her mother had been diagnosed a few years back with a terminal bone-illness and a while after that she had cheated on Hannah's father for some other man who went from town to town selling businesses on his newly developed data collection software. She needed regular doses of medicine after that to stave off progress of the disease, and her dad had been good about keeping her to a regiment. But things had grown stale between the two and so she decided that she'd be better off living a shorter life of adventure with this other person than being a burden of the family.

When she had been found dead in the man's van her father had taken the news hard, thinking he had been the cause by not being the best husband to her he could have been, so that sometimes that meant that he funneled a lot of pressure on Hannah with school to do the best she could. Thankfully, he enjoyed seeing her happy too and said that was why he was ok with her seeing me.

When I asked her to verify that we were seeing each other she smiled and put her hand on mine. I turned my hand over and brushed the side of her hand with shaky fingers. That was the best feeling ever. She said it was good being with me because I helped her forget the bad things from before and fill them with better things to remember. I told her she did the same for me.

Norman put together it was Hannah and I that orchestrated the whole event at the football game last Friday. We had stopped to get some water at the fountain after finishing up my first Science Club meeting with her when he sneaked up on us. He shoved Hannah to the ground with an anger in his eyes like nothing I had ever seen before. Then he held her against the wall just screaming at her. "You nearly killed him! If you thought I was going to let you take him away from me you were dead wrong." He kept ranting and raving while he held her tighter and tighter. Before I could think, I crashed hard into his shoulder and shoved him away from her. Then I growled at him, a deep, low menacing tone from a place inside I hadn't reached since the time before. The distinct warmth right before the change tingled up my arms and down my spine. Norman's eyes were trembling as he looked at me, and he crawled away into the bathroom. The warmth spread like wildfire, coursing over my body much faster than any other time the wolf had surfaced. I ran for the door, not wanting Hannah to see me as I was. I felt so bad leaving her behind.

I managed to make my way out into the backfields of the school before I let myself succumb completely. Hannah came out, calling to me, but I stayed out of sight hidden by some bushes and trees along one of the gravel paths leading out towards the rest of town. She eventually left, and after an hour or so I changed back...at least mostly. It was the same as the last moon where I didn't make it back all the way. This time my tail is longer and I have scraps of fur running up my legs, belly, and on the back of my neck. My chest feels a bit tight against the front of my shirt from the extra barreling still there, but it's not too bad. I was able to sneak home without mom or dad seeing me and I'll figure out a plan for tomorrow in the morning.

I've never had a change outside of the moon days before. Dad told me this happens sometimes for young wolves going through "that time" for themselves, and it makes sense I guess with everything else I've been feeling lately. I want to ask him more about what's going on with me, but he's got enough on his plate right now. As long as I take it easy everything should still be ok.

I wonder how much Hannah saw back there at the school. I hope I can still be Allen to her after tonight and not some strange wolf.

Dear Diary (Part 4)

April 1st, 2017 The changes hadn't receded at all by morning so I had to greet Mom and Dad as I was. Mom was confused, but Dad had one of his big, stupid grins on his face. He asked if I had been around Hannah again and I fudged the truth some. They...

_ **March 14th, 2017** _ Got the chance to catch up with Hannah today at lunch. She was understanding of me bailing on the movie, but said that I owed her in the future. She smiled with a chuckle after saying that so I'm not sure how serious she was...

Dear Diary [Part 1]

March 5th , 2017 I got this diary the other day thinking that it might help me. I heard it's good to get your thoughts out on the page and so I wanted to give it a shot. Plus it was only $1.99. Can't go wrong there. I'm not really sure how often I'll...
