** Sorry...I was trying to figure out which way i wanted to take the story. I'm glad people liked it and if you want it to continue plz say so, i think i could keep going...**

so this is my second story. I hope it's got the same flare as teh first. This time i focused more on the relationship and it growing, but dont worry there is still romance. Sorry if its too long, but i kinda got into a mood and the plot just kept moving and before i knew it i was hitting 20 pages...

once again criticism is more than welcome...(onceagain) prefferably constructive

Jake groaned as he awoke from his sleep. It felt like almost any other day then his eyes shot open as the memories of the night flooded his head. He realized he was in an empty bed and prayed it was just a dream, but wanted the memories to be true just as much. He got up, put on his clothes, and ran through his apartment looking for Lucas-who was no where to be seen. He did find Lucas's boxers though which was more than enough to let him know that the night before was real, and his fur was matted on his chest from the night. Despite what all his senses were telling him he still tried to think that it was just one big dream.

Jake sat down on the couch and looked into space trying to make sense of what he had done. He felt exposed and didn't know what to do now. He stared into space for awhile before getting up and heading to the bathroom. As he entered he saw a note that had fallen off his door, he figured from when he was running around the house like an idiot.

"Didn't want to wake ya'. Had to get back to campus for some labs and what not, so I took a cab. I'll call you later..., and a smiley face..." Jake read the note out loud to himself and wondered how he could talk to the wolf after the night. He was just as happy as he was angry. He couldn't take back what had happened. He sighed and went into the bathroom to take a shower. He let the water fall over him and closed his eyes thinking about all that had happened. He felt like a broken record replaying everything he had done. He tried to keep his mind off of what the wolf might do, but couldn't push all his fears away. Did the wolf still feel the same way about him, or was it just the heat of the moment? Did he get caught up in the heat of the moment too? "Shut-up you sound like an idiot..." he said to himself, then sighed and hoped the water might rinse away his thoughts, but that was a short hope.

The phone rang and Jake ran out of the shower grabbed a towel. Before he got to the phone the answering machine came in.

"Hello...anyone there? Dang he could sleep through a hurricane and never know it was there...." Jake said into the answering machine.

Jake picked up the phone and tried to speak, but no words came to his mind or out of his mouth. He thought about hanging up, but couldn't do anything. He stood there and tried to make any sound, but only silence came.

Lucas had heard the phone being picked up and knew the bear was there. He waited for some sort of response and decided he'd be the first to talk. "I heard you pick up the phone ya' know?" Lucas said in a calm manner. "So, how are you doing? I finished up my labs, and kinda need a lift...sorry to ask, but you know how it is, and besides..."

"Look dude I'm not gonna come pick you up so stop bugging me and leave me alone for once!" Jake yelled into the phone. Jake didn't know why he had yelled but just let the anger come.

Lucas was about to say something when he heard the phone hang-up violently. "Jake? Hello?" Lucas looked at the phone and hung it up also. He thought about calling back but decided against it.

He knew he should have stayed with Jake. It must have seemed like he had abandoned him when he woke up. Lucas guessed that Jake needed some time. He did too, but he was fine with what had happened and worried about how Jake would hold up. Jake had just opened up to him, and it's not like Jake was exactly close with a lot of people. Lucas decided to just walk around for a bit, and try to get in touch with Jake later.

Jake's hand was shaking as he held onto the phone. He didn't know what to do at the moment. Lucas acted like nothing had happened, or had he just not started to say something. Jake loosened his grip and tried to be keep calm, but always found became angry at himself.

"Great...this is just great...I hung up on him. Why am I acting like this? I can trust him can't I? I mean...we're...," the bear tried to find the words but could only clench his teeth and let out a growl. He found that he was putting out his anger to everything around him. He walked away form the phone and punched the wall as he walked out the door.

The weekend passed and Lucas began to worry about Jake. During the week Lucas had tried to talk to the bear after classes or even get near him, but the bear always moved before him or sat away during class. The wolf could tell that Jake was trying his best to avoid him. Lucas decided he was going to get in contact with Jake one way or another.

One day before their first class Lucas waited at Jake's parking place. Once Jake got out the wolf tried to talk to him, "Yo...you've been avoiding me all week. You OK?" Lucas asked as he walked along side the bear. Jake simply kept walking and didn't even look at the wolf. Lucas was about to try and talk to him again when the bear opened his mouth.

"Back off," was all Jake said as he pushed the wolf out of his way and kept moving onto his class.

The wolf stood there and watched as his friend walked off. Lucas didn't know what to do at the moment. He tried to be there for the bear, but was pushed away, and feared if he didn't try to keep in contact then they would lose their friendship. He noticed Jake swerve a bit as he kept walking. Lucas didn't know what else he could do. Lucas hoped Jake would be OK.

As the day moved on Lucas stayed away from Jake, but was always within

sight of him. He decided the best thing he could do was to just stick around and see what happened. The day went along and after their last class Lucas figured he'd just head back to his dorm and get his work done-what else could he do?

As he left the class the bear was leaning against the door waiting for him. He stopped and waited for the bear to say something. He looked into Jake's eyes and saw that they were cold, and the bear looked extremely tired. Lucas noticed the bear was shifting his weight, almost like he was dizzy. Finally, Jake began to speak.

"Sorry..." was all he said.

Lucas stood waiting for the bear to continue, but he didn't so Lucas figured it was his turn, "No biggie I guess. What's up with you lately..." he asked but already knew the answer.

Jake continued with his icy glare, and responded "Nothing. I just want to be left alone...that's all."

"Oh, THAT'S ALL...dude-" Lucas was about to continue before Jake cut him off.

"Yes, that's all, so just leave me alone." Jake never changed his stare or gave any sign of emotion. He turned around and walked off.

"I'll be ready when you want to talk...," the wolf said quickly and stood still as he watched the bear walk away. Jake stopped for a moment, but quickly walked off again-this time a bit quicker. Lucas decided he should go to the gym, maybe it could take his mind off of life for a bit.

Jake drove down the road and took a 'urge of the moment' trip to the gym. He hoped he could burn off some steam. He pulled in and went to the changing room. He was pulling up his shorts when Lucas walked in. They exchanged looks and Jake shoved his bag into a locker and walked out.

Lucas was surprised to find Jake at the gym-he looked like he shouldn't be out. The wolf quickly changed and went to lift some weights, where he knew Jake would be also. Lucas started off with dumbbells and did some leg weights. Jake was doing heavy lifting with a barbell and was struggling. Lucas tried not to let the bear know he was watching but always kept close.

Jake was panting and almost couldn't push the barbell all the way up. He got it with a final strain and growled at himself. That wasn't a lot of weight; he could usually do much more. He grew angry at himself for not being able to do the exercise and took off a few pounds-making him angrier.

He lay back down and lifted the bar. The first rep was easy enough and he got ready to do the second. On the second push he felt something go wrong though. As he was pushing up he felt the blood rush out of his head and his arms start to waver. Before he lost it he tried to throw the bar to the side, but it fell on his chest.

Lucas heard the bear give out a loud huff and then the sound of metal drop. He dropped his dumbbells and looked over at Jake. Jake was trying to lift the bar, but it never moved. Lucas ran over and helped the bear with the weights. Once the bar was back on the rack Jake sat up and tried to catch his breath.

"Are you OK? Here let me help ya." Lucas sat next to the bear and helped to support his weight. He felt the bear shaking and kept the bear steady. Jake felt like he couldn't breathe and his entire body was shaking. He tried to stand, but the wolf held him down. "No ya don't. You need to rest man; you just had a bar fall onto your chest. You're lucky it didn't land on your throat...You feeling OK? I know you can lift more than that." the wolf said as he held onto the bear.

"Get off. I'm fine," Jake said and tried to stand up. He was able to stand, but only got a few steps before stumbling over and hitting a wall. Lucas tried to run over and help his friend, but was punched to the ground. "I told you...to back off...I'm fine" Jake said through ragged breaths and went to the locker room letting the wall hold him up.

Lucas sat there shocked by his friend's actions. The bear had never been even aggressive. Even though his friend's punch hadn't hurt it was the action itself that made the wolf stunned. He got back up and headed off for the bear.

Jake was pulling his shirt over his head when Lucas ran in the locker room. Jake walked over to his friend, or at least to who he hoped would still be his friend. "I'm sorry...and I mean it, but please I just need some time. If you keep around me I may end up hurting you. I'm not supposed to be close to anyone...that's how I figure it. I can't let anyone close..." Jake said with a shaky voice and patted his friend on the shoulder, but was fighting back tears when he saw the wolf flinch.

"Jake...you...what's wrong with you?" Lucas said as the bear walked for the exit.

"I wish I knew...I'm sorry I'm a horrible friend," the bear said as he walked out of the locker room. He ran to his car and drove off to his apartment, thankful that he was able to keep together.

Jake arrived at his apartment and looked around. The place was dirtier then usual and colder. It was all bleak and dim. The entire place seemed to have a gray blur to it. "At least it matches the mood..." he said to no one as he walked in and threw his bag to the floor.

He went to his room and sat at the small desk. He stared around his room and looked at the bed for a long time. He had not slept in it since that night, preferring to sleep with his head on the desk, and gave a low growl as his memories returned. He laid his head down and fought off an oncoming headache. He wasn't feeling well and got dizzy at times. He knew it was because he wasn't taking care of himself. He didn't eat a lot, and when he did it was just a few crackers or something small. He maybe got four hours of sleep a night and even those were filled with dark dreams.

He got up and walked around the apartment. He stopped at the phone and stared at it for a few minutes. "I'm being stupid...I should talk to him." Jake said to himself. He raised his hand for the phone but stopped and let it drop back to his side. A small sigh escaped as he continued to walk. He opened the door and walked out, he didn't bother to lock it...why bother?

It had began to rain, was cold, and the wind was blowing. Jake thought about going back inside to get his jacket but simply walked into the storm all the while thinking about how the weather was like a mirror to him.

He walked around the building a few times and decided to walk along the street for awhile. Within a minute he was soaked, but kept on walking. Jake knew what he had been doing the entire week. He had avoided Lucas, pushed him away, and acted like he was a disease. Lucas had been nothing more than a true friend and all Jake had done was push him away. Jake remembered all the kind things Lucas had said to him and found himself grinning a bit.

"Man...I'm such an ass," Jake said to himself and stopped in the middle of his walk. The anger was still there, but it was much cooler now-directed. He knew he was just letting out his steam, but it was against Lucas. Jake was happy that he had such a strong friend, and was scared that he might be losing one. Jake took a turn and walked down the street never letting the downpour stop him.

He got to a bench along the street and sat down. He watched the cars pass by and caught a glimpse of all the people looking at him like he was an idiot, but he didn't care-after all they were right. He felt rain start to come down harder, which was already pounding him.

Soon he heard thunder, but he couldn't seem to register that he was out in a storm. He stood up and a bolt of lightning seemed to make him realize just exactly where he was. "Wow, this is really cliché. Feel terrible, gloomy setting, rain, and all alone it couldn't be more cliché, like some cheesy scene from a movie...," Jake chuckled to himself, which turned to a wheezing cough. He started to head back to the apartment.

Jake felt his energy going away very quickly and he was getting cold. Even though he was used to the cold this was too much. He was about five minutes away from his place. Soon the only thing he that he seemed to see was his breaths before him, coming out short and heavy.

Lucas was worried about Jake and called a taxi. He went to Jake's place to see if he was OK, but found the door open. His heart dropped and he ran into the apartment shouting for Jake.

"Jake...Jake, you here? Jake?!?" he shouted into the room and ran throughout the place looking for the bear. He checked everywhere and didn't see the bear. As he was running back he saw the bear standing in the doorway, soaked and barely standing.

"What the hell are you thinking you unbelievable idiot!" Lucas yelled as he let Jake stumble into the room.

"Can't...I'm sorry...better...catch me" Jake rambled as he felt his legs cave. Lucas caught him and dragged the bear to the sofa. Lucas removed the bear's t-shirt and pants, but left his underwear on. The bear was already in bad enough mental shape it appeared, last thing he needed was to wake up without any clothes on with Lucas.

Lucas laid the bear on the sofa and looked at him. Jake was panting and looked like he was having trouble breathing. Lucas put his hand on his chest could feel the bear's chest was bruised from before. He got some towels and dried the bear off as best he could, being careful not to put a lot of pressure on his chest, and then put some blankets over the bear.

Jake was out like a light but Lucas still talked to him, "You idiot, your burning up. Man...you're really out of it." he said with concern. Jake was mumbling indistinctly and tossed around in his sleep. Lucas put a cold cloth on his head and leaned against the sofa.

"Guess I can't leave ya like this...not that I planned on it...and I'm talking to no one," the wolf casually said to the bear. He did notice the bear grin a bit which made the wolf happy also. The wolf looked at a clock and saw that it was almost 10 o'clock. Lucas leaned his head against the sofa and let sleep come to him too.

Lucas grunted throughout the night, never being in a comfortable position, and always checking on how his friend was doing. The morning came and the bear was still out and the wolf stayed with him throughout the day.

The night came and Lucas did what he did the night before. He looked at his watch and saw that it was nearly six. He felt a steady breathing on the back of his neck and turned around to see the bear staring at him, or through him. Lucas could still tell the bear was not doing well and his eyes were still glassy.

"Hey...don't we have school?" Jake asked in a slow voice, like he was searching for the words.

"No, it's Sunday, and you aren't going to school tomorrow either. You're staying here till you get better, got it?" Lucas tried to sound stern, but couldn't help but smile at the bear. "Oh...and I'm glad you're OK."

Jake tried to smile, but was still tired. All he could do was mouth thanks and closed his eyes. When he got back up he smelt something cooking. He heard Lucas grumbling as he ran through the kitchen. The wolf walked up to him and smiled and talked to the bear, "Man, I'm not your freakin' mom, but I guess someone has to take care of ya. Live like a pig ya know?" the wolf said with a toothy grin.

"I'll think I'll live if I can eat whatever it smells like you've burnt." The bear joked while trying to sit up. Jake noticed that he had a bit more strength.

"Here let me. I'll bring it to ya, and it's pretty good...maybe." Lucas said and helped the bear up then brought the bear some soup.

After eating what little he could the bear laid back down, and tried to talk to the wolf a bit. "Thanks for all this...even though I've been such a huge ass." The bear said with his voice still soft.

"Yeah, you have...," the wolf said with a small chuckle.

"You need to get to campus dude...if we both miss classes then it'll be hell to make em up." Jake said as he faded in and out of sleep.

"I'm not gonna leave ya agai-" the wolf began to say before being cut off by the bear.

"I'll be fine...I just need rest. Talk...later..." Jake said and fell back asleep.

Lucas just stared at the bear before sighing. He hated it but Jake was right. If they both missed classes then it would be hard to make them up. The wolf put the soup in a container and left a note on the fridge so the bear could find it. He made sure the bear was OK and then called a taxi. The last thing Lucas saw as he closed the door was the bear sleeping peacefully on the couch.

Jake woke up and stared at the ceiling for what felt like hours. He knew he had slept through the entire day and that it was sometime in the early morning. It was strange...all the anger, all the confusion, everything seemed to be gone. He just lay there and stared at the ceiling. "This is...strange, nice...I feel at ease...," he said to the air and slowly raised his arms up in the air. He stretched and slowly got up.

Jake looked around his room, and saw a clock. It was 4:47 in the morning. He decided to take a shower. "God, I haven't showered in almost four days...," he said as he walked off to the bathroom. He went to take off his shirt and then realized he was only in his underwear. The bear stood there for a moment and guessed that the wolf had simply taken his clothes off him-normally he would've freaked. "Guess it was for my health..." he said and took off his underwear.

The shower felt nice and the bear was happy to feel clean. He knew that he was much better, but he still felt 'off'. After his shower he went to his bedroom and laid down for a bit on the bed. He fell asleep again for a while and got up during midday. He didn't mind the scent on the bed now, he wasn't exactly happy, but he was OK again. He got dressed in fresh clothes and walked outside.

Everything was different. He gave a weak laugh to himself at how the weather had changed again so quickly. It was a nice day out with the sun shining and a cool breeze blowing on the trees. It felt like the end of winter was finally here. Jake stared out at the world and day dreamed for some time.

Jake woke from his day dream and knew he should find Lucas. He had to apologize for everything...this past week had been bad for both of them. "I've gotta get out of here..." he said quickly and grabbed his jacket and ran out the door.

Jake got in his car and drove towards the campus. He got there after awhile, taking his time and parked in front of the wolf's dorm. He ran up the stairs and then stopped before getting to the door.

Jake had to act normal-putting back on his 'mask'. He walked into the wolf's dorm and asked Kyle, Lucas's roommate, if he had seen Lucas. Kyle was playing a video game and didn't even look back to talk.

"Nah, he was with you last time I saw him...check the park. You know him. Always gotta be somewhere woodsy." Kyle said and continued to play his game. Kyle is a bright orange cat. He almost had a yellow tint to him. He was a lazy cat, but pretty cool once you got to know him.

"OK, cool. I'll talk to you later, AND you need to study man..." Jake said and closed the door on his way out. He was glad he could keep his persona up around people, not that he acted very different from how he felt-he just didn't let people know what he was really thinking. He ran down the stairs and out side towards the park to look for the wolf...he knew where the wolf would be.

Lucas leaned out on a rock table and let out a sigh. He always enjoyed this place, it was so tranquil. He came out here for everything; to read, to work, to nap, and just about anything that he could do. The spot wasn't ever crowded as it was pretty run down-the campus didn't take good care of this part of the park, so it wasn't known very well to a lot of the students. His last class had been a bore, but he was glad he had gone-now he could help out Jake with the assignments.

"I wonder if I should've called Jake back...oh well he's probably still asleep...I can talk to him once he's got his head clear...well clearer..." the wolf mumbled to himself as he thought about all that had happened this past week. He was about to try and nap when he heard something coming towards him pretty quickly. Lucas sat up and stared through the brush to try and get an idea of what was coming his way.

Jake had been running to where Lucas was and didn't think he would have any trouble...until he hit a root. Jake knew he was going down after that. He was still a bit sick, off balance, and running down a hill. He only hoped he wouldn't hit a tree. Jake stumbled along the trail losing control of his run and crashed through the bushes as he hit the bench and flipped over it.

"Oww...this day really sucks," the bear said with a grunt and opened his eyes to see Lucas looking down at him.

"You OK big guy?" Lucas asked his friend with an outstretched paw while chuckling.

"I feel a lot better thanks to you. I'm good...well, I could be better, but hey its life..." the bear said and swatted the paw away, "I'm gonna lay down for a bit..."

Lucas sat back down on the bench and closed his eyes before asking the bear again, "You OK?"

Jake knew what the wolf meant this time and didn't know how to respond. He figured he should at least try and say something, "I'm...not sure. I'm working on it, but I don't know..." He tried to keep control of his voice, but could tell he was stuttering, and his voice was faltering, "Sorry for everything...I'm just confused...I'm not like you. You seem great and have no problems" Jake said and just let out a sigh as he put his hands under his head.

"Well I'm OK...what's wrong with you though?" Lucas kept staring up at the trees never letting his sight drift.

"Nothing I can't handle...I'm just trying to get everything together, but this isn't about just me. Tell me what you're thinking...," the bear said in his old tone-he was starting to regain his composure.

"I'm sorry for not being there before...I knew I should've stayed," the wolf said in a solemn voice. "You're still not all there after all...no offense intended."

"None taken...it's pathetic but your right. I'm just acting like an idiot, and I'm worried about you" Jake said finally having his entire composure back.

"No your not so don't say that, and I'm fine. Stop beating yourself up man. You have to talk to me...I'm there for ya. If you don't stop bottling everything up your gonna really lose it one day" The wolf said slightly jokingly but was still serious.

"Yeah...maybe...but hey I've made it this far. I just got freaked when you weren't-" Jake stopped when he heard some noise in the bushes. He waited and heard some people walk by the trail, but knew the group didn't see them and that they were still hidden. "...when you weren't there. I was afraid you had regretted it, or that you thought I was some freak...just a lot of things came to mind. I thought you bailed on me..."

"Never. I...I can't make any excuses. I don't know why I left...I thought you would want some time alone, or maybe I did panic for a sec. I was afraid you would end up regretting telling me everything and you'd try to distance yourself, and I didn't want that...sorry" Lucas tried to keep a steady voice.

"Sounds like we need to work on our communication skills..." Jake leaned up and looked at the wolf. "I'm not sure how this is going to go, but I want to try this..., still with me?"

"You bet."

Lucas smiled and patted the bear on his head.

"This place is pretty private...but can we talk somewhere else?" Jake looked at the wolf with his best face, and tried to smile.

"Yeah, we have a lot to talk about, but it's gonna take awhile...school is tomorrow and I still have to get you caught up on the assignments."

"No rush...we got time." Jake said and tried to get up.

Lucas got up before him and put out a paw to help the bear up. Jake took the paw and pulled Lucas down to the ground. He kissed him lightly on the nose, and then slowly tried to get up again.

Lucas laid there and smiled before getting up. He caught up to the bear, and they walked through the park without speaking, simply enjoying each others company. Lucas was careful to watch how Jake walked, making sure he didn't stumble or trip up, but he often found himself staring at the bear.

Jake noticed Lucas watching him, but never said anything about it. He walked along the path, and eventually struck up a normal conversation with the wolf. They talked until they got to Lucas's dorm and then stopped.

"Your roommate? Won't he get suspicious about you not being there for so long?" Jake said as they stood outside the building.

"Nah, Kyle will be stuck on his games as usual. Besides, he has night classes tonight...if I remember correctly." the wolf said as they stood at the doorway. "Well, we won't learn until we go in, right?"

They walked up to the dorm and found that Kyle was just leaving.

"Oh, so you found Lucas?...stupid question I guess." The cat said as he gathered up his books.

"Yeah, now all I got to do is catch up on all the work I've missed. I can't wiat till spring break...time passes so slowly." Jake said jokingly as he got out of the way of the cat.

"I know what you mean, I'm living for it at the moment, but I gotta got, or imma be late for class and the prof' will chew me out...again," Kyle said as he moved pass the bear, and stopped in front of Lucas.

"Cya later man." Jake said as Lucas waved good-bye to the cat.

"You guys hang out as much as a married couple I swear...," he said and slid out of way of Lucas's incoming hand. "Can't touch this...," he said as he ran out the door laughing at his own joke.

Jake was blushing and too taken back by the last comment to make his usual quick retorts. He simply laughed at the joke and shook his head. Lucas began running around the room getting his stuff together.

"Need some help?" Jake said as he walked up behind the wolf.

"Nope, I'm good to -" Lucas stopped as he turned around and walked into the bear behind him. Jake let out a pained grunt because the wolf had hit his chest which was still bruised, but didn't move. "Gezz, for such a big guy you move way too quietly."

Jake simply laughed and brought the wolf into a hug, "Thanks for dealing with me." he said as he dipped his head down to nuzzle the wolf.

Lucas dropped his bag and returned the bear's hug. He was still careful not to squeeze the bear too hard though. The wolf pushed the bear towards his bed and laid him down on the bed, but Jake got up and moved away.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to move so fas-" Lucas was in the middle of apologizing when the bear interrupted him.

"No that's not it...I'm just not comfortable here. Remember, we still have a lot to talk about, but I don't want my scent in here..." Jake said as he sniffed the room then picked up the wolf's bag and handed it to him as he passed by.

Lucas sniffed the air around them and realized that their scents were strong, and would stick around if they did. "Yeah, I see what you mean." Lucas grabbed his bag and walked behind the bear. They got to the car and began talking again.

"So...not to sound like a pervert or anything...but regarding ...," the wolf stopped for a moment and tried to find his words, "those types of 'moods'. What are we going to do?" Lucas asked trying not to sound to blunt or one-minded.

"You mean sex? Well, I know how you feel...but," the bear said and chuckled when he saw the wolf blush at how blunt he had been. He tried to continue but found that he didn't have a good idea either, "hmm...you make a good point. Well to begin with, how do you feel about sex?...this is a bit awkward I guess."

"I think, like you, I am obviously more comfortable in a closed setting. I only want to be with you-another obvious one I guess. How long do you want to wait, or do you? I'm fine either way. And about our relationship, what will we do? What about others...neither one of us is exactly screaming this to the world I assume, but...will we deny it or...?" Lucas sighed as all the questions swarmed his mind.

Jake laughed and gave an unsure smile back at the wolf while giving a slight shrug of shoulders. "Wow, we do have a lot to talk about. About the sex; I agree with you, and we don't have to wait if that's OK with you...as long as we still keep a healthy relationship. And as for our relationship...I guess we will just hang out like we always do, most likely even more. We can go out to eat and stuff-you know what most couples do. Our relationship being secret?...I don't know. Well, let's not 'scream it to the world' but I don't want to just plain out deny it either. How about we just plead the fifth on that kind of stuff?" Jake said.

"Sounds good to me. Plead the fifth? Ya mean like not say one way or the other if asked...?" Lucas said as he thought about a situation.

"Yeah...sort of. Like how I used to do you know-avoid the question...in a sense, but make it subtle. For instance: someone were to ask us if we we're an item I'd say something like 'only if that's how you think of it I guess' or just make a sarcastic comment." The bear said as he looked down the road. "That's how I do it around my family. They ask me about girls and I say I look at eye candy every once in awhile...never said if it was girls or not. If they ask me if I'm gay I simply say something like 'you wish.' They just take those as the answers they want. I did that for most of my years..."

"...unn huh..." Lucas said with a confused stare. "I'll let you handle those situations man..." the wolf said with a sigh.

"That works too..." the bear said with a chuckle. He pulled into the parking lot of his apartment and parked the car. He sat there with the wolf for a moment and let out a sigh. "So...I... hope this doesn't come across as horribly cliché, well that's not exactly the right word. Anyway..." the bear stammered as he looked at the wolf.

"Go on..."

"Do you want to be my boyfriend?" Jake asked as he blushed. "I mean...just to make things more official or something..."

Lucas smirked and looked at the bear and placed his hand on the bear's shoulder, "Yeah, I'd like that...just changing the 'best' to 'boy'..." he said.

"Really? I guess that's that. Cool!" Jake said as he gave his goofy smile and got out of the car. He got the wolf's bags and began to walk towards the apartment. Lucas sat in the car for awhile and smiled as he watched the bear walk away-he looked happy again. He got out then caught up and patted the bear on his head as he helped the bear with the bag.

"I got the bag, but you can keep rubbing me if you want..." the bear said as he blushed.

Lucas stopped helping to carry the bag and smirked responding, "Oh, so the big strong bear likes to be petted?" as he ran past the bear and stopped in front of the door.

Jake stopped and waited for the wolf to move. He realized the wolf was waiting on a response and tried to keep from blushing, "Yes, I like to be petted...We all got our kinks. Why don't you tell me some of yours?"

"You'll find out sooner or later" the wolf said and moved then let the bear open the door.

Once they entered the apartment Jake sat the bag down and looked at the clock. "11...OK. Just tell me what I missed and we'll be done by 12." The bear said as he looked on his computer at his work.

"You didn't miss hardly anything...all the teachers seemed to just ramble on about molecular-physics or biochemical possibilities...no new info." The wolf said as took off his shirt he lay down on the sofa.

"Sounds easy enough..." the bear said as he opened a book and glided through the pages of his book.

"Hey, don't let me fall asleep..., or at least wake me a bit before you go to bed." the wolf said as he closed his eyes.

"Will do." Jake said and went to his work. He looked over after a bit and saw that the wolf was passed out on his coach. Jake smiled and watched the wolf sleep for a bit before going back to work. After he finished his work he went over and picked the wolf up.

He felt the wolf nuzzle into his chest and Jake smiled as he carried Lucas to the bed. Lucas woke up a bit and stared at Jake through sleep filled eyes. Jake simply looked down and quietly spoke to him, "Sorry...you shouldn't sleep on the coach, it's not the best place to sleep," he said.

"Here we go..." he said as he lay the wolf down on the bed and stepped back to undress. He took off his jacket and shirt and stopped at his pants. He stood there for a bit, still shy about being in his underwear around the wolf. He shook his head with a smile and stepped out of his pants and sat down on the bed.

Jake watched Lucas sleep for a bit and felt sleep coming over him also. He lay down next to him and wrapped his arms around the wolf and cuddled him. He heard the wolf give off a sigh and heard his breathes return to normal.

"Night..." Jake said to the wolf and let sleep come over him.

Jake woke up the next morning to Lucas trying to get out of the bear's grasp. Lucas was fighting to get away from the bear and Jake pulled the wolf back to him and told him good morning.

"Good to see your finally up, now get it in gear we're gonna be late to class!" the wolf said as he jumped around the room trying to get ready for the day.

Jake looked at the clock and saw that it was almost seven. He looked back at the wolf, "Ok, I'm ready just let me put some clothes on...," he said casually and got dressed.

They ate a quick breakfast and Lucas tried to get all his books together as he got in the car. Along the way they talked about upcoming events-most notably spring break.

"Man, I can't believe it's after this week. Freshman year has flown by you know?" Jake said as he drove down the road.

"Yeah, what are ya doing over the break? If ya aren't doing anything then mayb-" the wolf began ask as he tried to fit his last book in his bag, but Jake cut him off.

Jake gave out a loud sigh and remembered his 'plans.' "Well, I'm headed back home...God this is going to be bad!" he said and cringed at how the time with his family would be.

"Do you not like your family?" the wolf asked. They had not spoken about each others families. It just never came up.

"No, no I love em it's just with...you know...how I am, and keeping it a secret-hopefully to my grave." Jake said, trying to defend his family.

"Why don't you tell em...I'm sure they'd still love you." The wolf said as he tried to comfort the bear.

"I don't care about them loving me. They aren't the type to be very accepting of

'fags'...I just want to be able to support those close to me and be someone that can take care of them...financially at the least. Besides that I try and distance myself." The bear said causally, feeling comfortable about the situation for the moment.

"Why? You need to have a healthy relationship with the ones you love. How can you still be around them with how they seem. I keep in touch with my family...call em at least once a week...what do you mean support?" Lucas said, he was enjoying learning about the bear.

"Well, a plan of mine is to try and keep in touch, become wealthy somehow, and to be there for them. I can help them financially and hope to show my love in that way...Don't get me wrong. You know me the best, as I've said before. I just can't open up to them. We still have a good time when were together. I mean, we talk about tons of fun stuff, play games, hang out a lot, and tons of stuff... it's just when they start to ask me about my personal life-which isn't often, thankfully. I've never had a girlfriend...for obvious reasons, and it's not like I can tell them 'Oh, no I have no interest in women.' And as I said before; I don't lie to them about me being gay or anything...I just avoid it like the plague or use my wit." Jake said all this so casually that the wolf couldn't help but laugh.

Lucas heard the bear start to growl and apologized, "Sorry man, but you said all of that like it was no big deal. I don't wanna sound rude but you're pretty much living a lie for your family's happiness, and you can't say it hasn't affected you. You also seem to have some sort of plan to take care of them without ever talking to them. Not to mention it's taken you your entire life to open up to someone...wow it's a bit more serious now." The wolf said as if saying it himself made it sink in. He was happy to hear the bear beside him laugh also.

"No, you're right...it is a bit funny. But anyway enough about my family-as long as I have someone like you I can take it for an eternity." The bear said as he stopped at a light. He continued the conversation from before his family situation came in, "Sorry, we won't be seeing each other over break...that's gonna suck. I'll call you every day though."

"You'd better, or I'm gonna find ya and beat ya to a pulp in front of your family." Lucas said jokingly. He noticed they were pulling into the parking lot and they got out and headed to class.

"Hey, after classes I got something to ask you...I think" the bear said as they walked into their class and got to work for the rest of the day. They talked with friends and went throughout the day as if it was any together...why wouldn't it be? Finally the end of the day came and they went to the park and did some work.

Lucas finally couldn't take it and badgered the bear about the question he had wanted to ask, "What did you want to ask me? Tell me, come on please. I promise I'll say yes..." he said in a poking manner.

"Dude I keep telling you it was just about a formula in our chem. class so stop asking." The bear said avoiding the question.

"You're not very good at lying to me...why is it that you could lie, without blinking, to the pope, but can't even make up a good excuse to me?" the wolf said jokingly enjoying watching the bear try to avoid the matter.

"I think you know why. I may ask you later..." Jake said as he punched the wolf in the arm. "Hey, I'm hungry lets get something to eat...What do you feel like?" he said and started to walk towards a restaurant.

"Oh a date, how nice," Lucas said to the bear and watched him blush. "Don't worry no one is around to hear it." He said laughing as the bear looked around to make sure, but then just laughed with him.

"Yeah it is, and your following means you've said 'yes' ...I'm that good I guess," the bear said with a laugh.

"Whatever you want to tell yourself." Lucas laughed with the bear and they decided on a restaurant.

The meal passed casually as they talked and laughed. When they got ready to pay Jake took care of it saying Lucas could take care of the next one. Jake walked with Lucas to his apartment and said goodnight and walked away to his car. He got in and sat there for awhile smiling because he felt like he was finally doing something right.

The rest of the week passed quite the same and then Friday had come. Both Jake and Lucas had finished all their work early and decided to skip classes and just hang out. They walked around campus and talked with Kyle and some other friends who didn't have classes and made the most of their time. After awhile the others left and Lucas and Jake were alone again.

Jake had on tan shorts and a tropical looking button up shirt, deciding it was too hot to still be in pants and a jacket. Lucas noticed and complemented the bear on his new look, "Ya look nice today. I don't think I've ever seen you wear something that looked comfy..." the wolf said with a laugh.

"Thanks. I used to dress like this all the time...no idea why I stopped," Jake replied and smiled down at the wolf.

"You should go back to it. It makes you look less militant...or better to say it gives a friendly look about you. Come on lets get a bite to eat, and I can pay you back for a meal before the break," the wolf said as he ran ahead of the bear into a restaurant.

After they ate they went back to Jake's apartment and played games. Around the afternoon they stopped talking and watched a movie. Jake had his head on the wolf's chest with his hand on the wolf's leg. Lucas was petting Jake's head; he was still surprised to find that bear enjoyed being petted.

Neither one was paying any particular attention to the movie, only enjoying each other's company. Jake tilted his head and licked the wolf's nose and gave him a small smile. Lucas leaned down and kissed the bear, growing more passionate. They wrapped their arms around each other and when they finally broke the kiss it was because the movie was annoying them.

"Let me turn this off." Jake said as he stood up and turned off the movie letting a blue light filled the room, Lucas got up and stood in front of the bear. The wolf kissed the bear lightly, then Jake felt something push him down onto the couch and he landed with a thud.

Jake simply let out a laugh and pulled the wolf down onto the couch with him. He wrapped his arms around the wolf and kissed him deeply. He started to lie down on the couch and brought Lucas with him. He felt the wolf rubbing his stomach then move to his shirt. The wolf growled into the kiss and fumbled around with the buttons- with little success. Jake broke the kiss and undid the buttons letting the shirt open up to reveal his chest, while the wolf was kissing on the bear's neck.

"Don't wanna bite me this time?" Jake asked as he ran his hand down the wolf's back. He stopped at the end of the wolf's shirt and pulled it up to the wolf's head waiting for the wolf to stop kissing him.

"Well, I think you liked it, or maybe I was hearing things." Lucas said and allowed the bear to remove the shirt from his chest. He lay down on top of the bear and ran his hands through the bear's fur, while the bear rubbed his back.

"I'm pretty sure I'd like anything you would do to me..." Jake said and lifted the wolf off him so he could sit up.

Lucas allowed the bear to get up and nuzzled along the bear's chest getting a low moan from the bear. Jake started to lift him by the shoulders and Lucas gave a grunt, wondering what was wrong. He looked up at the bear with a confused face, but was soon thrown through the air and into the bear's arms.

"Just figured we'd be more comfy in the bedroom..." Jake said with a smile and kissed the wolf lightly on the lips. Once he got to the bedroom he let the wolf down and brought him into a kiss. He felt the wolf pulling at his shirt that was hanging open. Lucas pulled off the rest of the bear's shirt and nuzzled at the bear's chest again. He kissed on the bear's stomach before he got on his knees in front of the bear.

Lucas kissed at the front of the bear's shorts feeling the growing erection underneath. He undid the shorts and pulled them down leaving the bear in his briefs. He nuzzled the bear's sheath and balls through the cloth while running his hands over the bear. He pushed his muzzled into the briefs and inhaled the bear's scent getting a shudder from Jake. He pulled down on the bear's underwear and took the bear's growing cock into his muzzle.

Lucas ran his hands up the bear's stomach and around to the bear's ass. He pulled the bear closer to him, and felt his muzzle hit the bear's body. He continued to suck on the cock listening to Jake moaning. Jake brought his feet out of his underwear and pants and left them on the ground and he backed up to the bed.

Lucas felt the bear move away and let the cock slide out of his mouth. He took the chance to undo his own pants and brought his underwear down with them. He scooted himself back to the bear and continued to lick on the bear. He licked around the bear's balls and brought his tongue up along the bear's now fully erect shaft. Jake moaned as the wolf licked on his cock and grabbed at the sides of the bed. Lucas licked around the bear's cock and could taste pre sliding down the cock. He licked along the underside of the cock and cleaned all the pre then brought his muzzle back around the bear's cock.

Lucas could feel the bear start to thrust into him, and let his hands glide over the bear's body. He was enjoying what he could only describe as the bear's flavor. He began to pool up the pre on his tongue and enjoy the taste before swallowing. He played with the bear's balls with one hand, and brought the other to the bear's ass. He started to play with the bear's ass, putting pressure on the bear's hole. Lucas felt the bear's thrust start to become longer, as the bear tried to push all of his cock into the wolf's muzzle.

Jake was enjoying fucking the wolf's muzzle and felt his thrust start to become more violent, but before he could climax Lucas brought his hand back around the bear and stopped sucking on the bear for a moment. He licked on the bear's cock once, getting a twitch from it and a strained thrust from the bear. Jake couldn't help but let out a whimper at the sensation of being so close, but not being able to cum. He heard Lucas give a light chuckle at the whimper.

"Why'd you stop?" Jake asked with a small smile as he looked down on the wolf.

Lucas winked and licked at his muzzle trying to get any pre that could have landed on him. He gave the bear's balls a tug, before putting one of his fingers in his mouth. He pulled it out and slowly pressed it against the bear's hole.

"So I can open you up." The wolf said as he worked the bear over. He returned to the bear's cock again. Jake put his hands on the wolf's head, but Lucas took one of his hands off the bear and removed the hands from his head. Lucas moaned around the cock, but tried to let the bear know he didn't want to be controlled.

Jake gave a slight chuckle but then grunted in pleasure as the wolf worked him over on both ends. Jake fucked the wolf's muzzle and tried to get out a question, "So, I guess you're gonna be the dominant one, even if your being fucked?" the bear said through pants with a sly grin. He felt his climax coming and began to thrust deeply into the wolf, each time hearing to wolf give an equally load moan. As he felt his climax coming he tried to move all the way back on the wolf's fingers in his ass also, but let out a groan and another whimper as Lucas pulled out and off of him again.

Jake continued to hump into the air and looked back down at the wolf, "If you're going to make me cum then make me cum!" Jake said through pants as he tried to gain control of his thrusts, which hit nothing but air.

Lucas chuckled at the bear and patted him on his stomach, "Shh, It's OK..., I want to taste more of you before you cum, just sit back and enjoy it like I am." the wolf said as he gave a sly smile at the bear, and licked at his muzzle again. Lucas spat on his fingers and returned back to the bear's ass. He slowly pushed against the bear's hole, pushing in a third finger. He was playing with the bear listening to the moans and grunts as he played with the bear's ass.

Jake pushed back against the wolf's hand and pushed the fingers into his ass, feeling his butt hit the bed. The bear gave a startled grunt as he hole clenched around the wolf's fingers. He tried to let his breathing return to normal as he adjusted to the feeling, but his face scrunched up.

Lucas got serious for a bit and looked up at the bear, "Want me to stop? You OK?" he asked with concern.

Jake grunted and tried to keep his breathes steady, "No...it feels... good, I just need to adjust" the bear said as his breathes became steadier. "I got a bit zealous I guess," the bear said as the pain turned to a dull throb.

"I know how you feel...remember the first time? See what happens when you don't listen and get too excited..." the wolf said and kissed at the bear's stomach referring to the time the bear had slammed into him without getting him ready. "Let me help ya though," Lucas said, back to his sly tone, and began to suck the bear off again. Lucas took his hand off the bear's balls and began to stroke his already hard cock. He let out louder moans and sucked harder on the bear's cock as he stroked himself.

Jake moaned as his cock was once again engulfed by the wolf's muzzle. Once he began to thrust he felt the fingers sliding out of his ass, but felt them return as he pulled back. He began to fuck the wolf's muzzle again, moaning as the wolf's tongue played with his cock, and the wolf's fingers fucked him.

He felt the pressure building in his balls as they smacked against the wolf's muzzle each time, and he began to pant. Lucas moaned as the bear fucked his muzzle and could feel the bear was close as his cock began to spurt.

Lucas placed his hand firmly on the bear's stomach and pushed him against the bear-reducing the power of the thrust. Jake didn't have any control of his thrust, and tried to get off, but the wolf had opened his muzzle to where the only thing Jake could feel against his cock were the hot breathes. He looked down at Lucas a let out a whining, "Please..." as he tried to get off.

He wanted to let the bear cum, but had other plans. He placed his hand on the bear's stomach and opened his muzzle enough to where the bear's cock no longer had any source of touch. He waited for the bear to slow down his rampant thrust then took his fingers out of the bear's ass slowly hearing the bear whimper as he did. Then he slowly slid off the bear's cock making sure to run his tongue along the bear's underside, cleaning all the pre off the cock, and making the bear whimper like a cub.

Jake couldn't help but whimper as the wolf slowly came off his cock, which felt like it was about to explode from pressure. Lucas stood up and kept the pre he had licked off the bear's cock on his tongue, still enjoying the bear's taste.

Once Lucas had stood up he felt the bear bring him into a tight hug. He looked up and the bear pulled him into a passionate wet kiss with the bear's hands returning roughly to the wolf's head trying to keep the wolf as close as possible. Lucas was surprised at first, but relaxed and gave into the sensation, allowing the bear's tongue to roll over his own. Jake could taste his pre on the wolf's tongue and moaned as he and the wolf's tongues moved over each others. As the kiss grew in passion Jake allowed himself to fall back and land on the bed, never breaking the kiss. Lucas was pulled down with him and yelped into the bear's mouth at the surprise of the fall.

The kiss lasted for a long time and grew into a slow passionate pace. Jake had wrapped his arms and legs around the wolf and moaned along with the wolf as they slowly made out. The two made out and Lucas could feel his cock resting on the bear's stomach-leaving a pool of pre. Jake didn't pay any attention to his cock. For the moment the kiss was the only thing that mattered to him. Neither of them had cum yet, but for the moment the kiss was the most important thing to them. Jake began to lightly suck on the wolf's tongue. The bear let out a strange whimpering sound and began to thrust again. Lucas was enjoying this side of the bear, the submissive side. He allowed the bear to do what he wanted for the moment.

Jake broke the kiss and stared into the wolf's eyes. He didn't blink, but his eyes seemed different. Lucas thought that they seemed to shine and he ran his hand along the bear's muzzle.

"Lucas..." was all the bear said as he kissed the wolf lightly on the lips. The bear's eyes watered but he didn't start to cry. He just lay there and stared at the wolf.

Lucas continued to gently stroke the bear's face and brought his muzzle next to Jake's. He lightly nuzzled the bear and comforted the bear. "Jake." Lucas said trying to make the bear look up. When the bear did Lucas planted another kiss on the bear. The kiss was more emotional than any before and they both lay there and let their actions speak for them.

When the kiss finally broke Lucas let his head land near the bear's. He looked over at the bear and gave a small smile.

"That was nice," Jake said as he turned over to stare at the wolf.

"Nice is a huge understatement, that was amazing. And besides were not done yet," Lucas said as he moved his paw down the bear's stomach and stroked on the bear's cock. Jake gasped at the touch and let the wolf take back over.

Lucas got up and moved across the bed. He moved his so that his cock was in front of the bear's muzzle. He didn't have time to say anything before the bear had started lapping at his cock.

Jake licked on the wolf's cock and grabbed the wolf's ass pushing the wolf down onto him. Jake moaned as pre began to shoot across his tongue and began to bob his head on the wolf.

Lucas began to thrust into the bear's mouth and tried to keep control of himself as the bear's tongue worked over his member. The wolf gave out a grunt, and then pulled out of the bear's muzzle. He heard Jake give another whimper, but ignored it as he lay down on the bed. He looked over at the bear that was at his feet.

Jake stared up at Lucas and rolled his tongue around in his mouth trying to keep the wolf's scent. The bear got up and moved towards the wolf and lay down on top of him. He nuzzled the wolf and let out a moan when he felt the wolf's cock begin to rub against his ass.

Lucas kissed the bear lightly and pushed him up so that he was sitting on the wolf. He smiled at the bear and stared at the bear's body, but mostly at the bear's cock that was dripping onto his chest. He thrusted beneath the bear a bit as his cock moved against the bear's warm sack. Lucas lifted at the bear, noting that he wanted to move and slid down so that the bear wouldn't sit on his cock again. Then he pushed the bear back down and rubbed the bear's thighs as the bear began to jerk off.

"No, wait." Lucas said as he stopped the bear's hand and decided it was now or never. "I want you to..." the wolf began but couldn't finish the sentence because he didn't know how to ask.

Jake stared at his friend with a confused look, but eventually got the message and stood up a bit. "Oh,...OK why didn't you say so earlier." The bear said as he smiled and rubbed the wolf's chest.

"I don't want to sound like a pervert." Lucas said through a moan as the bear's ass pushed onto his cock. He struggled not to push up into the bear.

"I don't think I'd really...care...about...that." The bear said through pants as he sat slowly down on the cock. He stopped after a bit and let his hole adjust before moving down more. He finally felt his ass touch the wolf's body and let out a grunt as he tried to adjust to the wolf's girth.

"You OK?" the wolf asked as he struggled to keep from thrusting into the bear.

"Yeah...more than OK...Just don't stop me this time." Jake said in a joking manner and slowly rose off the wolf's cock then slowly moved back down. He moaned as he slide back down on the meat. He blushed as his stomach moved with his bounces, but only sped up. He began to ride the cock as fast as he could and moaned as he felt the meat inside him hit his prostate-sending waves of pleasure throughout his body.

Lucas moaned as the bear began to ride on him and started to thrust with the bear's movements. Soon he was thrusting into the bear as hard as he could, and the bear was using all his weight to ride the wolf. He reached out and rubbed the bear's chest. He watched as the bear moved on his shaft and watched as his cock twitched shooting more pre onto the wolf's chest. He watched the bear as he started to push down harder on his cock and the wolf adjusted his thrust to fuck the bear as deeply as he could.

Jake tried keep a steady rhythm with the wolf, but found it hard as the wolf pounded his ass-every time hitting his prostate. He could hear his sack landing on the wolf's body with each thrust the wolf gave, and each time he moved down. He could also hear and feel the wolf's balls slapping his ass with each deep thrust. Jake only whined as the wolf pounded into him, and he began to thrust backwards onto the cock as hard as he could.

"Yes please...don't stop...Please!" the bear whined as he tried to keep control of his own body while he rode the wolf. Jake bit his lip as he felt the pressure building again and hoped that the wolf was as close as he was. He wanted to cum with Lucas. He angled himself differently so that he could use more force as he slammed his ass on the wolf's cock.

Lucas placed his hands on the bear's thighs and pushed the bear down onto him even more trying to get all his meat into the bear's ass, and Jake latched onto the wolf's wrist and began to slide on the cock. Every time he moved forward until only the tip was left and then met Lucas's thrust with his own as the cock buried all the way into his ass.

"Lucas..." Jake whined out as he felt his cock spasm and began to shoot his load. His hole clenched tightly around the wolf's cock and Lucas began to shoot his own load up the bear's ass.

Lucas closed his eyes as Jake shot his load on him hitting him in the along his face and leaving a trial on his muzzle down to the bear's cock. Jake whined as Lucas's cock pulsed inside him, and as the bear's cock twitched as the rest of his load landed in a pool on the wolf's stomach. Eventually his thrust along, with the wolfs, slowed down.

Jake slide off the wolf's cock with a moan and felt his cock twitch again. He looked at the looked at the wolf, who was trying to lick the cum out of his muzzle. He leaned down to the wolf and could feel the wolf's warm load in his ass.

"Here let me," Jake said and began to lick the wolf. He started at the pool of cum he had left on the wolf's stomach and followed the trail to the wolf's muzzle. He licked around the wolf's face making sure not to miss any of the cum, but some of the cum was starting to drip from his muzzle too.

He finished licking the wolf and then gave the wolf another wet kiss. Lucas moaned as he and the bear exchanged cum and spit, but was surprised by how much of it there was and coughed into the kiss. When they broke the kiss the both had cum running down their muzzles.

They looked at each other and both gave small laughs before returning to the kiss. They moaned as their tongues ran over each other's and they explored each others mouths-still swapping spit and cum. When they finally broke the kiss Jake was the first to talk.

"OK, the kiss was good, but that..." the bear just let the words drift off and turned on his side. He propped up on one arm and watched as the did the same.

"I'm glad you liked it as much as I did..." Lucas said and wiped some of the remaining cum off the bear's muzzle.

"Maybe even more." The bear said with a laugh and leaned in to lick the wolf lightly.

"I doubt that" the wolf said with a smile, and leaned in to kiss the bear.

They laid there for an hour hugging and kissing each other. Lucas turned his back to the bear and moved back into the bear's warmth. Jake embraced the wolf and pulled him close to him. He nuzzled at the wolf's head and let sleep come to him.

Lucas was surprised the bear had fallen asleep. He sighed and moved back into the bear, who hugged him tighter, and followed suit.
