Hello everyone my name is Jake Shadow Wolf, and I'm the author. I know you think that's just the title of anyone who writes a story, but that is my title in this world. I can alter the very fabric of reality by what I type. I didn't always have the final say but the more gods I got to join my cause, the more mortals I got to believe, the more myths that affected the world, and more demons I tricked the more power I gained. Now before we go on let me describe myself at the time of my death. I was five foot eleven inches tall, had dirty blonde short hair, gray eyes that were covered by glasses, an average build with slightly leaner legs and arms, a small amount of facial hair I had forgotten to shave, a scar on my right wrist and one on the back of my right hand, and was wearing a black t shirt with “World's Okayest Brother” written on it, blue jeans, and sneakers..
I was walking down my road when I was hit by a truck. I didn't know at the time that it was to allow me to enter my new world, but dying sucked. It hurt like hell and all I could think about was the friends I was leaving behind. No girlfriend sadly, but ah well I have more than enough love now. Anyway I laid there bleeding out when everything went black and I found myself standing over my body without my glasses and with the blood having dyed the tips of my hair blood red permanently. I looked around as everything faded away and I found myself in a black expanse staring at a figure surrounded by red light. I raised an eyebrow and said “I presume your god?”
The figure laughed and said “No I am Chaos, the aspect of Chaos to be specific. If you could see my face you would be destroyed or driven mad.” I thought about flippantly saying been there done that and he said “Oh I know you are mad Jake, but no reason to drive you completely sane in this case as my countenance would change you into the opposite state of mind and your creativity slightly stems from your crazy. Also I need you crazy to accept the deal I am proposing to you.”
I blinked and asked “Deal, what deal? You aren't going to offer me eternal life in exchange for my eternal servitude or anything are you?” He laughed and I said “I'm serious, I may be a guy who believes chaos is the essence of life but I don't want to serve anyone for eternity. I'd much rather be in charge, though that alternate personality of mine may be willing to submit if you give them a bone.”
The figure laughed again and asked “Would you like me to split the two of you?” I nodded and next to me appeared a wolf girl with blonde fur, blue eyes, DD cup breasts, an hourglass figure, long legs, and wearing a t shirt and shorts. She smiled and the figure said “Meet Jetta.” I nodded in greeting and he said “Jetta meet your new master.” She giggled and clung to me. He smirked and said “Now I think you at least need to hear me out.” I sighed but nodded figuring that was the least I could do. He smirked the light around his face turning a dark blood red, and said “I want you to become the author of my world.”
I blinked and said “The author of your world? You want me to write you a story?” He shook his head and I asked “Then what exactly do you mean by being the author?”
He laughed evilly and said “My world is a world of gods, man, beast, demons, myths, and more. I want you to enter it and have the power to alter the world as an author would a story. You yourself are a character so you can alter yourself even but you can't remove the ability to be the author. Eventually I want you to replace me. However first you need a following.” I slowly nodded confused but accepting.
He smiled and said “Good you agree so far. A few starting restrictions that will be changed as time goes on and you interact with the world, you can change the scenery however you want and set people down a certain path for them to react, however you can't directly manipulate anyone more than once every hour. Gods you can change three times a day all at once or at different intervals. However until you gain more power you can only alter them three times a day meaning twenty one times a week. Jetta is exempt from this as your slave she is yours to do with as you will. You can use her as an acolyte or just a cum dump. I would recommend making use of her as a follower rather than a slut though.”
I nodded and said “A willing follower is always better than an empty shell that solely exists for sex.” The figure laughed and nodded Jetta smiling and hugging onto my arm nuzzling my neck. I gently rebuked her with a simple “Not now.” She nodded and just cuddled me. I turned to the figure and said “So I can alter mortals once an hour, and gods three times a day in my current state but I can alter the terrain to fit my mood and trap them or whatever it takes to make them mine.” He nodded and I said “Does this include altering their perception to me?”
He shook his head and said “Normal people and animals yes, mythical creatures and gods no. You can make them like you more but you can't make them like Jetta and wholly following you yet. That is probably going to require a lot of followers and swaying their own followers. However if they follow you willingly then your magic will mark them as it has Jetta, look at her stomach.” I did as he said and my symbol of a winged wolf wrapped in flames on her stomach with the nine tails of a kitsune fanned out behind it.
The figure seemed to smirk by the tone of it's voice as it said “I took your personal symbol and planted it on your pet. Since you have a follower you have your abilities unlocked. If you didn't have Jetta you'd be reserved to altering the world like the gods are and not people or gods. You will be given your own territory where you will be able to start a religion if that is your wish or start an empire but after a year the gods will start to impose to steal any followers you amass. All that said, I guess the only thing left is for you to decide if you want to take your pet here or in the future.”
I sighed and said “I'll take her when I'm alone. I don't want to give you a free show. I can alter myself with my writing, right?” He nodded and I said “Alright, then go ahead and send us to this new world.” He laughed and a portal opened up behind us. I turned and motioned for Jetta to go through first then turned to the figure and said “Don't get to comfortable, I am coming to replace you soon enough.” He laughed again and nodded vanishing and leaving me alone in the darkness. I felt a pulse of power surround me and a dark red light entered my skin a tattoo of a quill crossed over a piece of rolled up scroll sitting on my left bicep with a computer underneath. I smirked and walked through the portal to find myself on a hillside with Jetta whose tail was wagging and had a bag carrying my computer within it over her her shoulder.
I took the bag and pulled out my laptop then started typing. Slowly the land at the base of the hill started to transform. I could feel my energy draining and knew that I had limitations with only one follower. I formed a river, a village that was unoccupied, and a castle for myself to live in. There were fields for crops with aqueducts leading to them, barns for storing crops, and even a ready stocked inn. I collapsed putting my computer away as soon as I was done and said “It appears I can only make so many large changes to the world before I have to rest. I think I may have another three or four of those in me for the day before I pass out. What do you think Jetta?”
She hummed and said “I'm not sure Master. I think you may have more than that in you if you got another follower but I can't say for certain. Honestly we need to let the settlers in the area know there's a town, don't we?” I nodded and motioned for her to go looking for them while I retired to the castle. She nodded and trotted off tail wagging.” I smiled and coughed softly then collapsed in a chair in one of the castle's dining rooms feeling weary but not completely exhausted.
I rested for a good three hours when Jetta returned with a few followers. They were three humans, a mother, father, and teen daughter, five fox anthros, all female, two wolf anthro brothers, and two horses who looked to be warriors. I welcomed them and offered them lodging within the castle although the family refused and said they'd take over the inn. I'd thanked them and said I'd start providing things to trade with other villages as we grew. They laughed asking how. I smiled and said “I'm a god, to be precise I'm the author, a god above the gods in this world.” They didn't believe me at first until they heard I'd made all this from nothing then they were slightly more believing increasing my power by a small amount. I smiled slightly and said “I'll prove it as time goes by.” They nodded saying that they'd believe it when I proved it and that if I had enough power to change things for the better they'd gladly start to worship me. I thanked them and stretched then retired to my room with Jetta while the vixens and the horses went to their own rooms.
That night I didn't take Jetta instead I spent it writing out about a quarry that should appear nearby, a woodcutter's hut, and a fishing dock along the river. That was all I could do even with the slight boost the belief of my people had given me. I fell asleep my arms around Jetta not knowing that over the next few days the first of the gods would visit and my holdings would grow in number and strength.
