Dragons Dame Chapter 4: Ignition
Exposition
Over the many day cycles that had passed, Iloria had been either laying in rest with Flamespitter's harem or spending her time with Nightbringer himself. Staying with both dragons merited her happiness as one dragon taught her how to read and interpret certain books, and a male who dedicated his time pumping into her hole day and night. The smell of being near Flamestpitter caused the drake to quiver in their presence, which always ended with him presenting her with one of her daughters being pumped, or her being replaced like a breeding stock. Sometimes she grew exhausted by the end of each mating, but Iloria didn't care about these events and laid with the male anyway.
These times were simple and something she had to take advantage of. Realistically, in her own dawned mindset, the events of the world had no bearing while breeding and learning from the males who brought her protection, food, and most importantly... pleasure. From her journeys (which she seldom liked to remember), the land there was desolate, hard, and difficult to manage even as a traveler. That was all she was at this point, a traveler without a purpose; and now a broodmother to a healthy brood and two very-very potent males to continue their legacy.
When the young female had the time to spare, she returned to her current nest with a motherly attitude; where she relieved a dragoness, one who helped her carry the mantle and nestled the clutch to a warm laying. The greater parts about being a broodmother is the nurturing of the unborn, caring for them in their small, yet venerable state. Whenever a young hatchling comes from the shell, the sweetest mewl and coo from the little ones begged the female to nuzzle and comfort, an instinct that battered her heart and warmth in her scales. However, the drake similarly loathed the days when the clutch hatches; once when an entire batch makes their way from the shell, Iloria dreaded the sight when there would be one or a few eggs that would become barren after many chances were given for the young one inside to pop out.
Sometimes, the female would nudge a young hatchling out of its shell, crack it even... but eventually, Iloria took those eggs and take them to a stony mound with the rest. She had given every opportunity, waited for many, many leagues of time for the shell to crack, or show a sign of movement. In the end, the defeated drake took the rook and placed it with the others. Here on the stony mound, it was a place where she could honor those who didn't survive the journey and help her recover from the pain that ripped through her entire being. She didn't know why she felt this way, but whenever she lost an egg, the same emotions that killed her spirit in the dreams overpowered her in mere seconds. However, when she honored the dead, the drake was always accompanied by her offspring and taken care of by Flamespitter and Nightbringer and given support for something she could not control.
On the nights she rested from such events, Iloria twisted and twirled herself in sleep; the same visions of bereavement and destruction constantly bombarded her mind. Such an absolute sight of death peaked on the fires of mountains and the bodies of many drakes. Each specific dream peered on the same environments of death, but when the nightmares came to an all time high, it always ended with her body laying broken in the pits of all the corpses. After waking from such horrific sights, the drake rose from her weak state and padded back to her own duties in the early mornings. Such tremors were enough for her to spend the day dwelling, before she normally headed to Nightbringer or Flamespitter to lay or learn.
The days she spent with Nightbringer, she always talked about these dreams that she had, and he would focus on why they were happening. After figuring out that there was no leading cause, the dragon merely comforted the drake and continued their lessons and practice in her new abilities and the current. Sometimes she would learn how to crack fire through the whip of her tail or practice centering her elements in a singular ball between palms, but the same effect of her personalized training days allowed her to become better and stronger Strangely enough, the drake did not even have to push her body to the limits during her many hours using the elements, as if the fire and the strange ghastly elements were already doing that for her while doing so.
With more time spent investing in her abilities from the taut of fire, the female marveled at the sight of the flame's wild nature, how it burned everything it touched, reacted in controlled bursts, and raged in synchronous harmony. Fire became a great use to her own vices and allowed her to see investments in how to use them. Fireballs of explosions, spreads, fire-spins, bolts, and darts were enough to train herself to the point of finding sanctity within her worth.
The other element, however, was a little bit more mysterious and stranger to handle. To her, it acted and reacted like a phantom-like projection, affecting how her body felt as she used it. Whenever she whipped out her tail with the element activated, some flowers looked drained from the touch of its ghastly flame; but for the drake, her energy increased. Observing how the flame took energy, she would attempt to find a way to give energy back. As a result, the flowers she touched became bright again, but at the expense of the female losing some of her balance in the process. Whatever she was doing was mindedly dangerous, however, albeit much more progressive in the end. Whilst her body writhed in the struggle of a unique element, its power was a perfect reason why she questioned her own motives. Through enough devotion, she could be able to find ways to counteract or even alter various modes of use with it, allowing her to do things that most creatures of her caliber could.
None of the powers she wield made sense to her, but in her continued routine of practice into inimitable exchanges for combat; the importance of these abilities were useful enough for her and the brood she protected. Time would easily passed in her own personal trainings, the dreams made her wake early in the mornings and the memories of seeing her hatchlings becoming stillborn motivated her to practice, work and drive herself through the days and sometimes terrible nights.
As soon as her emotions were quelled, she'd return to her average state of mind and padded to Nightbringer to study and Flamespitter for entertainment. Each day she visited the burly fire dragon, she'd find herself on her back and pounded into a senseless rut; like the female she was, Iloria would moan and whine as she was filled and would be finished with the male spilling his seed inside her clitoral canals in a messy aftermath. Once finished, she would find the dragon sticking his cock into another one of his victims who fell into heat, soon pressing them to the ground and pounding them into a sexual high. Iloria would then returned to her activities, albeit without the coming bulge of being heavy with eggs for the latter part of the moon cycle. During those times of labor, the drake made sure to focus on her studies more and train on her elements without too much movement.
After she laid her eggs, she'd return to Nightbringer to stick around and try to understand his lessons. Sometimes instead of going for Flamespitter, she would spread her legs in open invitation to Nightbringer and allow him to clutch her belly for part of a moon cycle. Whatever the means for what it was worth, Iloria had grown accustomed to having a clutched belly, then read for another few day and night cycles before laying a clutch to train and breed again. For the Dragons Dame, it was surely enjoyable to watch the numbers of dragons and dragonelles increase, with many young dragons forming social circles while the dragonesses took their time either in the empty caverns that they took in as hatcheries or being bred by the two elder dragons. While true, they were safe in numbers, there was an even greater risk when the dragons went out to hunt or gather more fish for the watering hole. When there were more dragons being bred into greater numbers, the more food they would require to sustain the population.
Between spending day cycles planning and thinking of ways to conceive such a plan, the single drake had gathered her two mates and made a plan for the swelling numbers of the smaller dragons and the puffy drake...
Iloria gasped as she yanked herself awake with widened eyes, body trembling and scales shaking as another night had passed. During the entire moon cycle, the young blue female trilled in her cave and had spent most of her time in the darkness. Her dreams have become more vivid, clearer, and much more frequent the more she had grown accustomed to the ghastly element. Whether they were memories of the past or the tremors of observing her stilborn on the mound, the same dreams of death, screaming, blood cutting screeches and war roars bellowed in her mind.
Through much attempts at mitigating these dreams from meditating, breathing shallowly or just not using the elements; it never stopped them from coming. The figures of other wingless dragons were seen charging through the fires and being shot down by spears, arrows, and knocked down by fiery rocks from the sky. They fought against these bipedal, armored humans who bore a shielded crest and were armed with swords, shields, spears, and the like from her travels from the desert. When she stood in the middle of the battlefield, she'd witness the slaughter of the drakes by the mass, swords, spears, and arrows spilling their blood throughout the woodlands. Eventually, the dream of the battlefield would end when all the drakes were all lying on the ground, dead for miles across, before the humans turned on her and sent a sword straight through her heart.
By this point in the morning, Iloria shook her head and drew herself on all fours, shaking her sweaty hide and taking the darkness of the cave. She's started to look around the same crevices where she'd first stayed with Nightbringer, looking at the memories of how she laid on the floor with a heavy belly, with a fire to warm her body and a dragon to keep her company through the nights. He gave her a sense of purpose and affection, while keeping principled in himself to keep her occupied with either a clutch or books. The dragon had a nice collection of dragon and... human literature, but his education of writing had done more wonders for her than anything before.
Once she would make it to the small etch of space from the boulder, the blue hide of the drake observed the rest of the cave, looking to the memories while they came to her. Over the course of observing the empty stoned hills, there were a few spots where water had gathered after the season of ice had melted its snow away. Fish still scrambled, plants that were placed there fed the fish and everyone fed from them. Iloria smiled as she would soon grumble at the shaking displeasure of her stomach.
She sighed at her hunger and padded over to the lake where some of the fish still swam in number. Considering of the great number of fish, it was easy for the drake to ease her snout near the water, tense her body for a few seconds of crouching, then snatched a salmon in her maw to feed. As she would sate her hunger from chewing on the fleshy fishskin and the juicy muscles, she'd sink her teeth past the bones in fixation of the head, adoring the crunch and the sensation of the aquatic breakfast. Eventually, Iloria would be finished with the meal, tossing it into the small lake for the plants to decompose the rest.
After taking pleasure at her meal, Iloria would take her walk from the lake and pressed herself to the mound of the various eggs within. She would see Rila and a few other dragonelles laying beside it, a sign they were in grief for the time being. Not wanting to press herself so early in the morning, the blue drake sat on her haunches, spoke a few words to the unborn and left the females and the spire alone so she could continue her morning in silence.
Through crossing the familiar steps of the caves along the upper boundaries of the mountain, the blue drake never even had the sense of mind to even explore or inquire it. She knew her sons would be the main occupants of these long tunnels, but sometimes it even made her wonder if she was just some random dragoness exploring those tunnels... the thought made Iloria chuckle and continue her walk to the small glint of light flickering from the same exit she remembered from the mountain.
Cresting herself under the angle of the rise up to the cliff, the blue drake was determined to reach the sunlight, claws scrambling under the downward slope. "I really did put on some weight did I?" She sighed to herself in draconic, grunting as the climb took longer than it should have.
But when the female reached the top and pushed over the boundary, the sight was worth all the trouble.
From the base of the cliff, the view over the entire valley leading to the lined up array of mountains blocking the desert winds was a sight to see. As the sun slowly peeked over the landscape, the sight of all the trees, lakes, rivers, and even some spots of wildlife spurred throughout the valley as she observed. The color of the scenery peeked her interests, how it glowed in various colors to her warmed some bits of life left in her heart and some within her soul.
She would use this time to think about the clarity of her dreams, observing the death and wars on such scales would be impossible, but the echoes of the desert, where she hatched brought some thoughts into her mind. How could a blue, near-aquatic, frilled drake could possibly survive the desert? Her memory was frail from that point of berth and erratic dwelling. The land in her eyes swelling with life warmed her happiness, but it made her mind swell in grief.
Something was definitely off with her reactions, her conceptions and especially her dreams. All senses screamed at her about it, how alien it all was resonated in her thoughts, the echoes and the screams. What pain weighed down on herself, she could only hope her young ones could never hear it. And she definitely hoped they would not inherit this power within her.
That was, until a cough could be heard behind her. Immediately, all thoughts would be silenced and her attention fixated upon the noise. Twirling her head in its direction, Nightbringer would be seen standing on his haunches and Flamespitter standing beside the male and twirling his tail in the opposite direction.
"We sensed you were awake." Nightbringer spoke, soon raising his burly, massive body to approach her. "And your thoughts lured us to you." Flamespitter would reply soon after, following the black dragon with his red hide. Iloria sighed, looking to both dragons as they looked to her with inquisitive glares, their predatory appearance on the approach showing as Nightbringer's thoughts showed worry and concern while Flamespitter observed with caution.
"So it seems; I assume the young ones were not aware of it." The young drake sighed, knowing the two dragons would at least speak the same tongue.
"They were not, but it was enough to bring us out of our dwelling." Flamespitter implied, with Nightbringer nodding and soon nearing the female with a talon placed upon her shoulder, feeling the tension in her scales. "I was surprised Flamespitter could be able to pick up the echo, but the fact remained the same for you." Sensing the caution and the worry, Iloria looked away from them, worried on what they were going to do. "What is going on Iloria, your reluctance to leave the cave was one thing, this is another." The black dragon asked, with the red commenting on the matter with "-and not coming to breed as well," under his breath.
All Iloria could do was sigh and continue to look at the scenery. "I have not been feeling well since the Harrowing." This definitely drew some varied red flags for the black male. "What kind of problems have you felt since then?" Nightbringer questioned, his body drawing closer to her side, even drooping a wing to cover her back. The touch itself made Iloria purr for a moment before going on to speak. "Even before I have been having slight nightmares before the Harrowing, but ever since the discovery of that... strange element, my dreams have become horrifying, clear, and similar." Right then and there, Nightbringer confirmed his suspicions all those moons ago.
"What dreams did you encounter? Were they about mass killings, war, and the death of your kin?"
That immediately drew the drake to widen her eyes and back up away from him, almost rubbing into Flamespitter. "How?" She asked, the terror and the shock filling her face as the dragons droopy eyes looked to her figure. Flamespitter, however, was fully out of the loop and looking to the two with absolute confusion.
"Yes black dragon who brings nights... how?" Flamespitter implied, bringing a glare onto him.
"Iloria... I am sorry to say this but, you are the last of your kin. The only recording I have of this ever occurring was the death of the goblin race at the turn of the century." The black dragon spoke, looking to her with complete sincerity behind his voice. Iloria's face dropped right then and there, uncertain what to make out of the information.
"Are you sure? Where did you get this information?" Questioned the female. Nightbringer stiffened his tone and took a deep breath. "My sire was the one who fought with the humans to bring an end to the race and given pretext by the same human who brought me my books." Confirmed the dragon, his collection of knowledge being the one thing that gave him desire as a male who did not share any contemporary idles of hoards or wealth.
Sighing, Iloria would only look to the sunrise and watch the life out there prosper in serenity. "Is there anything else on the last goblin?" She asked, not even looking at the dragon.
"Nothing, not even a text or a scroll from what I remember of the lad or my sire."
That was all the more reason for Iloria to shake her head and brood over the possibilities, the nightmares were vivid, but she could not prove or deny the truth behind dreams and visions. However, the power behind her element was enough to prove there was something behind it. And that led to the major principles on how that element worked; she could be able to siphon the life energy out of something and even give life to another.
Immediately after realizing it, the drake turned around and started walking down the cave. Flamespitter and Nightbringer looked to each other and roared out to Iloria.
"What are you doing Iloria?"
Right on cue, the drake turned her head and looked to the males. "Giving you something to write about." Smirked the female before disappearing into the cavernous drop into the mountain's interior.
Seeing this, both dragons groaned to each other. "She's your mate, I am just her breeding toy." Flamespitter shrugged, making Nightbringer shake his head and followed the drake into the interior of the cavern. The spark inside the drake was rarely seen in her canopy of doubt and vulnerabilities, he only saw this in her during his territorial feud with Flamespitter a ways back. Looking back at the dragon's shimmering and eager eyes, Nightbringer merely flared his teeth in a misshapen smile before walking down the cavern drop.
Drowned out by the sight of Rila and the other dragonelles standing by the shrine, Iloria made her way from the cavernous drop, skidded through the corners of the tunnels and padded her way to the shrine of the many eggs that lay dormant within. Angered by the swelling reminder of death and the sadness behind it, the drake sought to change that reality and face where death had made its trips.
Once when the dragoness made her way to the enshrined cluster of eggs, there were a few dragonelles standing there, adding another few individual sets to the group. Iloria felt the females well up on the inside, feeling the torment and the reality of what it means to be a female in the world of life, death, and sacrifice.
No more. Iloria, with her power flaring, the young matriarch would approach the three of her daughters and sighing. "I am sorry for your hatchlings..." The drake spoke, causing the dragonelles to nod to the presence of their mother. "It is hard enough for everyone to lose a young one to dormancy and I do not seek to pester the topic further..." That would cause some of the dragonelles to turn their heads in her direction, showing the 'get on with it' facial presences.
"But I think I can save your hatchlings from their current fates."
That would certainly cause the dragonelles to turn to the drake and widened their eyes. "How?" One of the black dragonelles voiced, rasped in tiredness from waiting too long for her egg to hatch. "I need you three to gather as many males from the post and gather branches, pieces from a tree, anything that is considered part of a tree." She spoke, making one of the three tilt her head in doubt.
"Yes... I know it is a strange thing to ask, but if it works, we no longer need to bear this shrine any longer."
Seeing the truth and the logic behind this, the dragonelles nodded and rushed away from the drake in flight to gather anyone who could help them. Surely while the dragonelles were spreading the news, the broodmothers who had heard the grapevine would shirk their duties slightly from taking care of the newborns to look out into the cavern to see what the commotion was about. Heads would definitely poke out and even a small school of dragonlings accompanying their broodmother would follow.
Even the training dragonelles who were seeking to master their elements would follow through and raced with the dragons out into the forest to gather the items. The commotion being enough for Flamespitter and Nightbringer to close in on the shrine and land next to the drake, the sight of her glowing slightly enough for them to back away and make sure no one would touch her. How the drake spoke of the power was a gathering which the males knew that touching her would mean a drain of energy or something that they could not fix.
By the time when the dragonelles returned with the flight of dragons, they would bring in large portions of tree branches that were carried from the maw, the paw, or even by the log. They would drop all of the combined branches from the tree close enough to the drake to where she could be able to lean down and touch it with a paw. Seeing the drake shimmering in power, most of the females and males would finish dropping all the wood and surround the shrine to witness the moment firsthand.
Once ready, Iloria would lean forth and touch one of the branches, immediately causing the life to be sucked out of it and seeped into the female with her body taking in all the power from it. When the entire branch was devoid of all life, the female touched one of the older, more barren eggs in the cluster and poured the energy from the branch into it. Every dragon and dragoness leaned in close to observe the glow of the shell and the miracle the blue drake was putting into it.
Shortly after the drake finished siphoning energy from the branch and into the older egg, the pod shook from within the shells as life started to flourish within the little haven of berth. Shaking back and forth, the little hatchling within cracked the shell piece by piece, the yoke within was still within, allowing the young one to shatter the remaining pieces of the egg and break free. When the hatchling mewled and whined as a newborn, the miracle of life was complete and the little one was strong and developed to crawl and move like any in the room...
Opening her eyes to the little being of life cutely crawling along the floor and thinking young to the dragonelles around it, Iloria would set her eyes onto the crowd that had gathered around her. What she saw almost shocked her as the dreams of old compelled her into fear, yet the sensation drew itself an immersed feeling of love and happiness.
And from the lowered heads and bowing dragons around her, the drake stood taller than all the dragons in the chamber. From the bane of death, came life, and hence the trials of the drake would continue in the passage of her kin. With her job not yet finished, Iloria turned her form and begun draining the rest of the tree branches, the leaves, and the forms of life within and breathing life back into all the barren eggs; to give the newborn a chance in life.
With the crowd of dragonelles reaching for their hatchlings, Iloria would nuzzle and care for the young ones whose dames were on broodmother duty. After the settlement of many sires and dames seeing to their newborn hatchlings, Iloria would soon stand in the middle of the crowd and barked for the brood to hear.
"Thank you my hatchlings, I apologize for being reckless for the erratic behavior." Iloria voiced out in a pause, looking at every dragon and dragoness who bore to see the drake, their matriarch, address them all from the pinion of her spire. Their gathered attention briefly made the drake choke on the weight that welled in her chest. Yet, from within, there was a sensation within her heart that was not there before; it gave her strength to look her offspring in the eyes, as well as theirs in turn without feeling spite or weakness in her composure. The spirit within carried her heart and thus carried the drake to continue her voice. "But as a mate, a broodmother, and a dame to some, I couldn't live with myself if there wasn't a chance to provide equal opportunity to both the hatchlings and those who weren't given a chance." Most dragonelles would look down to their newborns with happiness in their eyes. There, the drake felt it, compassion, embrace, love swelling in her heart and carried her mind to form the words into action. "The grief I saw in myself, and what I saw in most of you, I knew I had to do something... and now with a happy, unified, and whole brood standing before me; I believe we are ready to expand." Those last few words would bring the dragons and dragonelles to look at Iloria more closely, both eager, surprised, and cautious to the name.
"I know that this is a surprise to most of you, but the reasoning is very clear; if we do not seek to expand our borders and claim territory out there, then we will starve and seek to do the same thing... but not without losing the ones we tried to save." When she finished her parts, the drake would settle out and point to the cave exit with her left paw. "I say we should establish ourselves in that world, through my power, your elements and the combined strength of our brood. Let no other creature or a pack of them threaten our kin nor the wellowing shadow of fear in our crest. Today, we create our fate." Through the females grit, her use of logic and the demonstration paired with the miracle she performed, all fifty dragons and thirty dragonelles within that cluster (aside the many dozens of hatchlings and broodmothers in the caves) showed immense loyalty and agreement to the female's ideas. No one dissented against her ideas and thus, with a few purrs, growls of approval and a chort around the gathered masses, consensus was formed in the bright eyes of her people.
Even though the silence was masked by the roars and cheers of the combined thoughts of all the dragons in the room, all the more humoring when no one else could hear it echo within the tunnels. Accepted by the dragons in a single, unified thought, Iloria smiled and motioned the dragons and the dragonelles to follow.
"Good, let's get moving then.
Over the ascending voices of the dragonelles and the upkeep of the dragons in their stead, Iloria had made her promise to her offspring and prepared the brood to settle into a home; a home not within the mountains or an exposed landmass far away from the caverns, but a home within the fruitful valley under the gaze of the mountain. Carried out by the drake's wishes, Rila would carry Iloria to the forest and be given the tasks of her youth. Iloria knew she could not be able to micromanage everything, so she gave Rila the task of watching over the broodmothers and all females in the brood, whereas she left Shade, Flamespitter, and Nightbringer to look after the males and delegate tasks to help provide protection, food, water, and shelter.
Many of the males protested in seeing all the work being tasked onto their shoulders, but with Flamespitters grandest old tales, he just called the young ones whelps and instructed them that females do their share of work by spreading their legs and rearing the hatchlings. Nightbringer brought up that they will be well fed and given luxuries no dragon has ever had and that they should not be bitching about it; earning respect from Flamespitter in delegation of tasks. With that, the males did their part and the females followed.
Because of Nightbringer's teachings and through the unmistakable presence of the ghostly element guiding her; Iloria figured out ways to get around the tireless works of figuring out how to survive out in the open or make shelter with little resources to dwell on. The wood the trees provided were a necessary resource to build shelter, firewood, and a system where they could protect themselves from the elements; stone would be necessary for keeping her abilities in check and gathering water for a watering hole; and plants would be needed to sustain cuts, prepare alchemy, and even provide the needs for ink and parchment.
Iloria would forever call her new element, the "Ghost" element, for it provided her strength in heart, will in mind, guidance in spirit, and memories of the ancestral past. While the males delegated their work and the females gathered many of the dragonlings who were able to do some of the minor work (while the hatchlings were cared for by other females in the caves), the drake laid on a stone perch overlooking the construction and meditating on her elements. Many dragons were seen using the drakes signature move with their tails, using the 'Tail Whip' with the combination of the fire element to cut trees down without needing to cut at the trees all day. From hard labor, the females and the males found their peace in purpose, and the brood would continue to grow, prosper, and become something they would desire to be, rather than let fate choose that life for them...
All Iloria had to do now was wait, and see what their labor would become of it...
Bellowed through the fresh air whipping along his black hide, Nightbringer growled at the pleasure of flying through the currents of the afternoon sky. The blue aura of the air dancing around with the puffy whiteness of the clouds brushed the dragons scales as he passed through the crest, watching the greenery landscape and the wavy patterns of the lower hill as he flapped his wings north. How the cool air crisped between his claws, rubbed his hide and blew into his face drew the dragon into a comforting glare, it was enough for him to enjoy the flight, but as an elder of the young dragons on their missions, he was needed to look after all the young dragons under his talons.
Once he led the scouting pack up north, fifteen young males went with him to scour the mountain passes and trail the wedge leering to any other landscapes that they could further exploit from the lone mountain to the south. Only a third of the flight were even his offspring; Dagger, Rachet, Snatch, Hawk, and Grall were towering representations of the mountain dragons, sporting hardened black scales, towering wings, sharp horns and a wide array of winged gliders to most of their frames, it made them easier to maneuver and even swim faster than even he did. Their skills were evenly matched when the mix of all Flamespitter's offspring flew in with his own during the mission; similar in all strengths, but with a tad of red coating rubbed along their hides. For Nightbringer, the dragon couldn't even catch all the names of the males while taking the separate berths of the flight. Only three males stood out from the ten red dragons; Firelight, Torch and Scorch led their other brothers and made sure to stick with their broodmates through the trip.
When the black dragon landed on the ridge of a lone mountain hundreds of leagues from home, the black dragon looked around back and forth for any signs of the flight. He ordered Scorch, Firelight and Hawk to lead portions of the flight to cover more ground and rendezvous at this mountain to recover and gather any interesting information on the scouting run. Since they were either still flying out and double checking any landmass or delayed by a discovery, the black dragon furled his wings and scuffled the stony septs of the mountainous ridgeline, the dragon merely observed the natural rock formation as he would scuffle a few rocks and watched as they trickled down the hillside, tapping and cracking all the while.
Watching how the forestry complimented the grassy downflow, the wind and the foggy side of the ridge was a flowing scenery the dragon could admit the cool compliment of the weathery cloud cover rushing from the southwestern side and flowing up to the northeastern crest of the ridge. The black dragon could feel the humidity rushing from the south and brushing the male's body in a worked up heat. He felt the familiar sensation of his body being warmed up by the desert wind, his scales beginning to swell as the conditioning of the cool and warm air kept his scales from sweating as much. However, the dragon could feel the enigmatic stench surrounding him as he took sensation of his stance, just before taking a deep breath and beginning to walk up the ridgeline and towards a mountain peak at the deep north.
"Nothing like a good walk." Nightbringer sighed to himself.
Not three steps later, a couple flaps and a large scuffle behind the dragon drew his immediate attention and drew him to look behind. Instantly, all thoughts would skip from happy expectations to immediate surprise when the radiant red scales of Flamespitter rushed through the dragons vision and placated him further from his disappointment. "Flamespitter?" Nightbringer asked, causing Flamespitter to look back at him. "Nightbringer," nodded the fiery dragon. He looked shaken, almost happy to be away from his own shirked duties. "Shouldn't you be... I don't know, leading your twenty sons in maintaining the protection of the brood?" Questioned the male.
Flamespitter would voice an answer with much stress as the dragon sighed. "Nightbringer, the dragons are safe; the females are safe... the responsibilities however," Flamespitter paused, looking over his shoulder. "They are overwhelming me Nightbringer and so will you too if you are not careful." Uttered the male, the exasperating bout of uncertainty really did confuse the black dragon.
"What in the name of Iloria are you talking about?"
"The females Nightbringer, they are getting desperate. I had to take a patrol flight just to get some fresh air from the breeding requests." Flamespitter sighed in enigmas, making Nightbringer nearly chort in a grumbling chuckle. It surprised the dragon both in humor and superstition that the one dragon who was known for not caring about what he could breed, was now running from females with his tail between his legs.
Tucked between the humor and the walk of the moment, Nightbringer just tossed the idea and trotted up the ridge and pressed towards the neighboring mountain peak and motioned for the male to follow him. "Well, considering you are on the prowl, let's explore this mountain while you are replenishing your pride." That would tenitavely be received with an immediate death stare from the red male as he followed the black male into the ragged shape of the mountainous shape and the wavy path to it. Both dragons made their journey with slow and ease of paces.
"So, other than your dragonelles overwhelming your rod like a flapping fish, how has the brood come along in the 'settlement' Iloria proclaims?" Nightbringer asked, flapping his wings and gliding around a small slope to make his way to the rising slope. "Surprisingly well from my limitations. I am not all about what she is doing or that 'education' stuff, but whatever it is, it's definitely working." Flamespitter chuckled, moving over a ridge in the rocky slopes around the basin.
"I even hear she is seeking on sending some of our female offspring in groups or... tribes to make harems for male dragons and have them create their own settlements for the betterment of all dragonkind."
The news on the good outlook upon the settlement was an enlightening thing to hear. "Has Iloria done anything since I left with the scouting flight?" Questioned the dragon as he slithered from the flattened ridge and started his climb up the steep mountain. Flamespitter sighed and started snapping his talons, claws, and hind claws upon the rock, soon climbing with the highlander male on the upwards ascent to make it to the peak. It was rather impossibly wide, with a close berth and a rather long tip to the high rise, making Flamespitter chuckle slightly about the long tip thoughts.
"Personally or leader stuff?"
"Personally."
Flamespitter groaned as his body felt the climb weighing heavily on his sexually active body. "Well... she did do a couple request orders for a stone... oh what did she call it... 'stone house' and a 'watering hole'. It really made the brood a little suspicious at her ideas, but it allowed us to have a watering hole and a place where the drake could perform her element practice without sucking the life out of it." Spoke the red dragon, making Nightbringer nod at the perspective it brought. "And you?" Asked the red dragon, causing the black one to sigh at that. "Waiting on my flight to return to this ridge, we split into four parts to cover more ground. All there is-is wildlife, valleys and mountain passes." Hearing this, the red male nodded. However, as the two dragons were climbing up the mountains walls, a faint, sweet and familiar smell started to emerge as the two males came closer and closer to the upwards mound. It was distant, but the rocky climb was enough for the males to become aware of this presence within their snouts.
For Nightbringer, he would look down to Flamespitter; and Flamespitter would look up to Nightbringer. In an instant, the two rivals nodded to each other and climbed higher and made their climb faster to the lingering scent. After making through a few difficult lateral ledges that angled the dragons to a horizontal degree, both males slithered through the climb and discovered an opening within the rocky shallows of the mountain. The more the dragons closed in on the cave opening, the more potent and ravishing the scent started to become. For Flamespitter, it was a dreamy and familiar scent. As for Nightbringer, the dragon knew immediately what they were in for...
A feral dragoness was inside those caves.
While the dragons were still purchasing their grounds to make way to the entrance, the smell started to huff into the dragons senses, making them struggle in their clawed climbs and in their decreasing composure to hide themselves. Flamespitter was already rocking his cock out in the open, the wind brushing his shaft and the need to not rub the stone made him raise his hips as he awkwardly climb up the rise; as Nightbringer snarled and growled in untamed dominance.
From the rift of the stony floor where the corner met the mountainous climb, the two dragons slowly, but surely reached their destinations with a huffing reprisal. Their bodies would lay down on the floor, rolling to the entrance with their bodies rattled with the senseless climbing.
"Next time, we are flying..." Flamespitter growled, huffing and puffing and blowing his breath out in a relieved sigh. "I agree with you there..." Nightbringer replied, his eyes closed as they were both scuffled in their out of breath state. Over the course of the moments, Nightbringer and Flamespitter growled under stress, eyes closed and snarling in regret from climb.
Howbeit when the dragons opened their eyes, they would be overlooked by the glittering presence of a slender, untouched, and shining shape of a dragoness looking down on both the males in her presence. Her naval eyes and sharp demeanor was enough to bear on the crest of her smooth, cyan hide and overlooked by her small horns, yet cunning frills. Soon the soft pats of her paws caressing the smooth, cold cave would bring the female closer to Nightbringer, his stench and her smell complimenting the aura as the stink of Flamespitter attracted her both.
The moment when the female was over the black dragon, he would jerk his head slightly upwards to leer his vision to meet her attentive, queer gaze. "Hello there," the male would speak in draconic, just before he felt the crushing pressure of her paw pressing upon his chest. It made the black dragon grunt in surprise as the dragoness looked down at both dragons, unimpressed and questing an intelligent mind behind her suspicions. The males could not be able to see behind her peering eyes nor find any intentions behind her blank face as the dragoness fluttered her cool, icy wings in relaxing peerage.
"Name." Snarled the dragoness.
"Nightbringer," the male grunted before the female looked to the red male.
"Flamespitter beautiful," taunted the red dragon as he bit in her direction in a failed attempt to attract her. Before long, the dragoness leaned into the black dragon and sniffed him, soon sniffing in the direction of Flamespitter to snarl in defiance. Many questions were in the female's mind, and she composed herself in the smells of two males in her vicinity. "You two do not smell like siblings, are you two broodmates?" Questioned the female, flaring wide-eyed contempt and automatic contentions for the two males as they widened their eyes.
"Nope, not one bit," Flamespitter spoke with Nightbringer stammering, "No, not even close." With the two staggering to answer her, the dragoness sneered.
"Are you two... mates?" She added, almost shaking her head at the thought.
"NO!" Both dragons roared instinctively, bringing the dragoness to bellow out a sense of immediate laughter from the embarrassment from the two dragons. They were so flushed with weakness, shiness, and of all things, embarrassment. Such a thought on two males of the dragon race was almost strange to see. It brought the dragoness to tighten her hold on the black dragon, watching how he twitched at the pressure of her dominance. She was befuddled at the thought, almost as if he internally submitted to her with the combined attraction all three dragons made in the cave.
"Then why aren't the both of you at each other's throats over me? It's uncommon for mountain dragons and fire dragons to simply not attack each other for dominance over an ice dragoness like me." Implied the dragoness as she leered her head down and looked directly into Nightbringer's eyes. She could see a hidden connection to something, a natural barrier in his mind even if instincts were flaring hard in the open.
"Name," the black dragon spoke in defiance.
Snarling in natural rage, the ice dragoness opened her maw and bit into the dragons neck, claw latching onto his chest and lowering her body down to aggravate the dragon into his basic instincts. "Snowfall." Replied the dragoness, immediately returning to bite his neck to draw blood as her claw dug a little deeper. The tension within Nightbringer made the dragon choke on the pressure of such a female, but the question was still unanswered and forced him to lift his tail and brush it along her... surprisingly, loose muff before guttering a moan from the female to release some tension for him to gag an answer.
"A wise female, convinced both of us to set aside rivalry over sharing her." Nightbringer replied rasply.
That would immediately bring the dragoness to release her hold on the dragon and make him gasp for air. "So this dragoness convinced you two to share her?" Right off the bat, Flamespitter rose his claw. "Actually, she was a drake." He spoke correctly, making the dragoness look at the two males in confusion. "What's the difference?" She asked, eliciting Nightbringer to reply. "Think of a dragon or a dragoness without wings, make them as tall as a horse and as long as ack-!" He was cut off before he could go too far into detail, as Snowfall clasped her paw around his maw to shut him up.
"I heard enough, now tell me, was there more of her kind where you came from?"
"No... but she bred us quite the amount of offrpring for us to take our fill." Flamespitter replied with a lewd grin, licking his chops in the sexual thoughts. "Much more than we thought. Now we are expanding, and breeding, and learning." Snowfall did not stop the two males from giving her every little piece of information to her. Nothing stopped the two dragons from speaking their minds about everything going on, but the mystery of this one drake who could breed quickly made her auspicious, but the thought of free males to breed and share, paired with the ideas of manipulating them for her own gains brought the idea to attention.
Eventually, the dragoness would lick Nightbringer's neck and lifted her tail in Flamespitter's direction. "Now... common you two males... let me see what new teachings your mate has created." Feeling the dragoness take a much more seductive approach, Nightbringer growled at the sensation her licks provided and the pleasure he felt from her sweet smell and her close proximity between them. Watching from the sidelines, the red dragons hard, raging cock erected a couple more inches in length before trying his best to stand on all four paws.
Blowing a chilly breath into the dragons neck, Snowfall would watch and observe the dragon shaking and shuddering at the feeling of her sexual assault, her ease of claw tension and the immediate swelling stench of the mountain dragon's erection started to stifle a couple loose ticks within the dragons mind. Seeing the reaction she saw in him and the fertile emergence of a drooling, swelling shaft; Snowfall rasped at the hard musk that grated itself deep within her snout and forced a wrinkle in her nose for the retracted sniffs and arousal beginning to leak between her legs. Her trickling-wet snatch would not remain vacant for long as a sexually driven fire dragon snarled and weakly mounted the dragoness and quickly tapped her hole a few times with his tip before sinking home. Feeling her loose muff swallowing the thick cock like it was a small girth elicited a slight rasp from the dragoness, but a deep moan from the red dragon; the difference between two dragons enough to signify the dragoness as more experienced as she bucked his shaft all the way into her fertile cooter and had not reached the end of her snug mass.
Right as he felt it, Flamespitter looked down at the dragoness in surprise, causing Snowfall to stifle some laughter as she sensed the dragons thoughts on confusion and utter embarrassment. "Yes, I have been with better dragons than you." Snowfall spoke, making Flamespitter snarl and thrust harder into her snug snatch; while her attention turned onto Nightbringer and coaxed him harder into further pleasured instincts.
Once the dragon's shaft had reached full size, Snowfall gripped into the black male's neck with her maw and started to squeeze. "Now, get your cock in me now." She snarled, lowering her hips and making the male's member rub against Flamespitter's girth; there the red male bit into the females' shoulder and snarled in a form of weak dominance, slowing down and snarling out of energy. Feeling the female's command, Nightbringer snarled and aimed his tip right for her folds; the dragoness lessened her hold on him and bucked down to force his swelling rod in conjunction with the red male's downward thrusts.
Now feeling the right amount of stretch from the two dragons inside her folds, Snowfall moaned properly and bucked into the two male's cocks in shared pleasure. How her puffy folds snugly complimented their cocks and pleasured both dragons on a needy level, the female allowed nature to play its course and ride the moment for as long as possible, basking in the musk of two dragons, the slight tug of their thrusts, and the masking of her scent in the pleasures of another. Even though she was not in heat, the ice dragoness knew she would be heavy by the end of the season.
She knew she had these males in her talons, one easily swayed by the flick of a fertile tail and the other by sheer domination; her clutch would be well protected by the males as they would provide the food and protection for the clutch she bore. It was the nature of their kind, to fight and survive the world in flight and with one another. By feeling the two dragons share their females, let alone develop some kind of consensus... it was almost inspirational, yet dangerous to the nature of their kind. She could not openly defy or attack or even dominate the ruling hierarchy of the drakes teachings, but it would serve the dragoness by playing along with it.
And with the dragons as weak as they were, Snowfall would take advantage of these two dragons and more if necessary. However, the thoughts of her plan quickly spirited away as the black and red males quickly increased their bucks and thrusts in the process; their pleasures known whilst her body rocked back and forth from pleasure to taut stretches in moaning glory.
Nightbringer and Flamespitter would snarl at the dragonelles desires, how loose she was and by her experience in handling them was a treasure in all its glory. The ultimate treasure of a dragon was the dragoness themselves; for while gold and items gives wealth of a hoard, they were used as a means to attract females to their perch. With this dragoness huddled in the entrance of a grandeur cave, the males were definitely in for a surprise.
Before the two males knew it, Snowfall grew tired of the continuous thrusts and moans of the moment. To drive Nightbringer into immense desire, she'd lock her maw with his own and drove her tongue into his mouth and suckled at the salivary caress of tongue to tongue. For Flamespitter, he would feel the reeking dragonelle buck against him and spark thoughts of gripping her waist to spread and thrust. The male took the hint and rose up to straddle her thighs, just before he started pulling back and forth to force their cocks deeper and deeper into her muff.
The pleasure was earth shattering for the males and a spark of desire from the female. Both males moaned and growled as their precum massaged her depths and her body complimented the two male's desires. For the female herself, it was only a pleasurable experience at best. She had not climaxed nor even felt the male's hitting her special spots where she would whine and cry like a little hatchling. That mental desire forced the dragoness to make the males go harder and harder, until the dragons roared in unison and battered Snowfall's cunt with a flood of their warm spunk. The pleasure of their throbbing cocks pumping cum at the same time made the ice dragoness breathe in pleasure, humming at the feeling of warm spunk drooling down her depths and trickling down her thighs.
Just for the moment of their sincere emotions and demonstration of their modicum affections, the dragoness accepted the males seed and nipped at both of them in a snippet of her personal traits. Seeing as they were exhausted and evidently not here to claim a dragoness, Snowfall shirked Flamespitter off of her back and allowed him to slink onto the floor, collapsing and breathing of tiredness. Seeking Nightbringer still awake and looking up at Snowfall in a panting manner, the dragoness pressed her snout lovingly to his own before licking his chest and gingerly bucking her clit back and forth all over his messy cock.
"You still have a lot to learn about females Nightbringer," purred the dragoness.
Without even knowing it, a surge of movements would find Snowfall forced upon her back, with Nightbringer snugged between her legs and the dragons shaft dripping over the reeking mess that drooped from her stuffed clit. Feeling the resonating dominance of a mountain dragon starting to emerge from the weak male. His huffs and his growls, and flares of teeth showed the male was easily gaining his energy from just instinct alone.
"Show me..." The black dragon demanded, quickly eliciting a grin from the shining female.
Dipping at the sight of sunset shadowing the evening shadow of the cave, Nightbringer shallow, deep breaths underneath the purring slumps of Snowfall's sleeping body. He was sore from tail to hip from the many hours of 'lessons' from the female. Everything that reeked from their hides, marked their scales, or dried up in residue from the taut concavities of thrusts and humps were touched with the sprinkle of cum and juices. Sex and lust brought them from the beginning of the cave to the mouth of it, with Flamespitter as the guard and the two as the lovers. He smiled to himself in having his way with her, but how dominant she was at the tip was something even Flamespitter wanted to stir.
At the breakpoint of her lessons; Snowfall wasn't kidding when implying that he had a lot to learn about females. Over the course of many sessions and rounds of their clapping hips, the cyan dragoness cracked open the male's mind; showing him how to take a dragoness on her back, on all fours, with a raised leg, on the wall, and even in odd angles. She showed him how an experienced dragoness pleased a male during every round, first by the swirl of their hips, bucking really fast to get them to climax and slow to draw out the affections within them. Even alternate means of kissing, licking, biting, nipping, and swirling of the tail and tongue certainly made well into a female's game and how to tell each apart by the experienced and the inexperienced.
Such methods of breeding was something the dragon mentally took note of for every method of breeding and affectionate sessions. He would be taught how to grasp a female's scruff as she was on the ground with one claw to have her look at him (or to hug into him) during intimate moments, gripping of the hips whenever they were on all fours for the mounting, the intertwining of the tails during any non-mountain situation, and the hilt rubbing technique to ride out a hard climax or drive a dragoness on the edge of it. Kisses and licks were the major importance of the ride and the measure of humping and ravaging of the clit was something all females adored, leaving any inexperienced dragoness to bask in their glory and any experienced dragonelle to appraciate their understanding of the fuck.
Rasping with a taut snuggle, Nightbringer laid underneath the dragoness with a complete respect that beat his caressing game by the furthest mile. He knew Iloria would cackle with laughter to hear he was bested by a dragoness who could breed better than he could and especially Flamespitter if she found out he was taken out on the first climax. Everything about the whole situation made the dragon flush with another bout of embarrassment, but if he could be able to present his mate with an outer territory of allies, she could be able to overlook his submission.
Until the dragoness growled in his wake and placed a paw on his chest.
"You are so bent on pleasing this drake... what has she done that makes you desire her affection?" Questioned the dragoness in tiredness, slunk on his body with the laziness of all dragons in true form. The black male drew his thoughts on the female and merely drew his paws to caress her frame. "She has shown the miracle of bringing stillborn hatchlings back to life. I feel as if my powers alone cannot even live up to that." Nightbringer spoke, drawing the female to quip in churning admiration and elemental confusion.
"So, a smart drake with a mysterious power could not only bring hatchlings back to the living, but also be able to carve out the wilderness like a ruling human?" Snowfall inquired, bringing much wakefullness and energy into the subject. "If not better, Flamespitter speaks of her seeking to build tribes to go off and breed with the rest of dragonkind. She seeks a grand vision in the eyes of kin... and lovers alike." Considering the thought that the drake was not only sharing males in principle, but also seeking to teach that to the rest of dragonkind... that made the dragoness respect such a vision, that meant she could be able to create her own queendom and rule her side of the region in all the luxuries of dragonkind.
Snowfall would purr at the news of this, and slyly nipped at the dragons chest to make him twitch, affectionately making the male desire much of the female and bring himself to a better side of relaxation. However, the calm moment would be interrupted when clicks, taps, and rumbled echoes came from the entrance, signalling there were intruders in the cave... until a collected stench started to seep in familiarity to the dragon as he laid.
Nightbringer's scouts had arrived and tracked the dragons down. Smiling from the many smells of males collectively speaking to Flamespitter, Snowfall looked down to Nightbringer and gave him a tilt of the head.
"Are they your broodmothers?"
"Nope, my male offspring."
By that moment of realization, Snowfall gave the dragon a very tenacious smirk and eased off of his body with the glint of her impressionable facades. She would look down on the exhausted male and padded over to the direction of the entrance to seek these males out to dominate. "Then I shall introduce myself to them." She purred, giving the dragon a toothy grin. Before the dragoness could leave the male, he would tug her tail and kept her from walking. "Hey Snowfall, can you do a favor for me?" The dragoness immediately looked at Nightbringer with a glare. "What is this favor?" She asked.
"Can you call for a dragon named Hawk and tell him to bring his parchment and ink to me? I am going to write a book about what you just taught me."
