It had been nearly twenty years since the police had raided that place. That unspeakable den of cruelty and depravity shut forever, the court cases went on for nearly a decade and made international news. Hundreds were arrested, including powerful Politicians, prominent disbanded, and many were arrested and charged with unspeakable crimes. Gabriel had been rescued, and over the long, painful years of this terrorized and traumatized Sentient feral's recovery – Gabriel slowly learned to trust again – and eventually – to find love.
Gabriel had thrived under Alex's kind tutelage, slowly building love and trust between himself and Alex.
