Curse of the Mightyena Chapter 7

A feeling of great unease began to creep through Zach, Victor, and Alex as they flew towards the dark spot on the horizon. Already the effects on the land could be seen as tendrils of what looked like black smoke stretched out below them as they flew onward. It was looking like they really didn't understand what was happening, but when the demonic shape of Xanthus's deformed body began to come into view they were shocked. "What is that!" Alex said in shock as they approached the monster in the distance.

"That is the scion of darkness! That is the creature you three must defeat!" The Dragonite said below them.

"How will we do that? It's huge! Bigger than that mansion beside it! How will we fight it when we're so small?" Zach asked the Ancient Dragonite.

"I still have some fight in me yet! I'll set you down over there, and while you come up with a strategy I will distract it! Let the spirits guide you!"

The Ancient Dragonite landed a shot ways from the flattened area where the monster was and set the three down before launching back into the air. "Take care you three! I entrust the protection of the valley to you three!" The Dragonite said before he began flying towards the monster of darkness.

As they watched the Dragonite summoned a massive bolt of lightning that struck the monster, distracting it from the device it was plugged into. The monster screamed and unnatural howl like sound and turned to the Dragonite, unleashing a wave of black and blue fire breath from it's maw. The ancient did an excellent job of dodging, but their fight would not continue in the Dragonite's favor. "There must be something we can do!" Zach yelled, "Come on!"

The three Pokemen ran towards the monster, but a familiar wave of dark energy washed over them as they got closer. Alex recognized the look on his friend's faces, and he knew that this energy was sapping the will to resist. "Oh great spirit of the mind! We need your protection! Free our thoughts from this dark miasma!" Alex called out and a wave of pink energy rolled outwards from him.

Zach and Victor looked at their friend in wonder, they were free from the dark power of the creature they sought to fight. Alex nodded and again they hurried towards the creature. The Dragonite was fighting nobly, but he was beginning to tire, and it was up to them to find a way to stop this monster.

As soon as they reached the demonic mass of muscle they noticed it's massive cock spewing black ooze that washed over the landscape. "Look at that!" Victor said and pointed at the machine behind the thing. A huge tube ran from the machine to the creature. The darkness had twisted the glass an metal into something new and horrific. The strange white sap flowed into the beast from the thousands of slaves on the other side of the horrible black machine. "That must be his source of power! All those poor creatures are feeding him with their... their" Zach tried to finish the sentence as the thought registered. He new it was cum, but he was almost to horrified by the sight of it to call it that. This sticky gray liquid was hardly anything that he had ever seen come out of a cock before, and he hoped to whatever spirits were watching over him that he didn't have to touch that stuff.

"We must stop this now" Victor said and growled, "Spirit of the body, grant me the power to fight this massive creature, make me as large as it so I can stop it's mad rampage!" Victor said and groaned in pleasure as his body began to crack and pop with the sudden surge of growth. In mere moments Victor was as big as the monster and his massive and muscular body covered in orange and black striped fur. He growled at the monster and charged just as it caught the Dragonite in a blast of it's fire breath.

Alex was fighting too it seemed as some strange force seemed to be attacking them from the hidden plane of the mind. With Alex and Victor distracted it was up to Zach to act next. As he watched Victor and the beast hit each other Zach realized that the machine the monster was attached too seemed to be feeding it. Zach knew what he had to do.

He ran to the side of the massive black structure, the strange Mightyena monsters tried to stop him when they saw him, but his roar seemed to scare them away for a moment or two. Zach knew he had to use something to destroy that machine, but he didn't have any attacks powerful enough to destroy something like that, "Spirit of light, guardian of souls, grant me an attack powerful enough to destroy this malefic machine!" Zach called out. For a moment he thought his request was too much, but then something came to him, like a sliver of light piercing through the darkness of this eerie land.

Zach didn't have time to think about it, he just acted. He began concentrating his energy between his hands. He needed the orb to be massive, so Zach poured all his anger, frustration, hopes, dreams, even his simple desire to win into the orb of energy. When there was nothing left to put into his attack he released the massive orb of energy and watched as it slammed into the machine.

There was a terrible groan as the strange device began to buckle from the orb of energy vaporizing it. Eventually the force driving the orb forward dissipated and Zach watched as his attack detonated in the middle of the machine and exploded. Black metal and glass flew in every direction and Zack unknowingly threw up another barrier of energy. His force field protected him from the shrapnel.

With the device gone the monster realized it's source of energy was cut off, and it was suddenly overcome with desperation. The desire to feed and be fed was too strong for it to resist, and it looked like victor was what it wanted to feed off of. When Victor smartly denied the thing access to his parts it roared in frustration and began to fight Victor for the right to mount him. Victor fought back savagely with claw, fang, and fire, but the monster would not be denied it's desire. Eventually it worked it's way behind Victor and began to position itself to push it's ebony member into the Victor's massive striped ass.

Zach was suddenly overwhelmed with anger. "Get off my mate!" He screamed and threw another ball of energy towards the creature hitting it in the chest and knocking it back slightly. Zach suddenly realized he was using some sort of attack, and so he threw another energy orb, and another, again and again, hitting the monster in it's shadowy hide.

The monster howled in pain and lust as the orbs knocked it away from victor and the massive Growlithe managed to squirm away from the horned shadow monster. Victor ran towards the source of the orbs of light hitting the monster. He saw Zach down on the ground and he hurried towards him, "Zach! Nothing we do is really hurting him! We must call on the spirits for real this time, we need to seal this thing away once and for all!"

"You're right!" Zach said and nodded to the massive Pokemon standing over him, "Lets go get Alex, we need to do this together"

Victor scooped up Zach in his paw and ran towards the pink bubble of psychic energy where Alex seemed to be fighting a battle of his own. "Alex!" Victor yelled as he approached and reached through the bubble extracting a tired looking Pokemon "We need to summon the spirits and seal this thing away. We can't defeat him like this!"

Alex nodded and looked at his friends. "We'll need to get closer to the thing, and we might only have one chance at this" He said.

Victor nodded and they turned to look at the beast as it chased after it's own slaves, gobbling them up as food for it's unending hunger. As they got closer it regained it's interest in victor and turned to face him with an evil grin on it's face. "You're feeble attempts to stop us are in vain. The spirit of darkness has already joined with us and made us whole. Now nothing stands between us and the world but you three and your pathetic spirits. You think you can defeat me? I've destroyed those spirits in the past and I can do so again!"

Instead of responding the three focused of the power inside them. From each Pokemon a light came forth. The light entwined together creating some sort of new beings, a Pokemon none of the three had ever seen before. "It's time to leave now" The new creature of light said and the monster wilted in it's presence. "You are part of us darkness, and it's time to leave this world"

The creature seemed to float into the monster parting the shadow like mist burning away in the morning sun's rays. The strange creature touched the monster and seemed to pull it in two, creating two separate beings and a swirling mass of darkness.

The two creatures solidified into two pokemorphs and Zach realized it must be Luce and someone else. As the power of the spirits left them they returned to their normal size, but remained pokemorphs themselves. Zach, Victor, and Alex rushed forward to where the other two morphs landed on the black grass, and they noticed that the darkness in the area seemed to be fading away.

Above them the strange new Pokemon like being merged with the darkness and looked down at the pokemorphs below it. "I am sorry" It seemed to say, and then it simply vanished, and all the darkness around the three vanished with it.

Zach looked at Luce and his mate Xanthus. Both of them looked pretty beat up and confused. "You're welcome to come to Pokemon valley with us" Victor offered and looked at the confused leader of Team umbra and his mate.

"No" Xanthus said and looked around as his former slaves woke up, no longer pokemorphs like their master once was, "We are not animals, we will stay here and live out the remainder of our lives in the seclusion of my property" Xanthus said and looked at Luce beside him.

Luce smiled when Xanthus said "We", he looked up at the large Houndoom - Mightyena morph and sighed. "I guess we'll never be human again, but we have each other" Luce said and looked at Victor and Alex standing with Zach, "And it looks like you have some friends of your own"

Zach nodded and smiled at Luce and Xanthus, "No more of this taking over the world business, alright you two?"

Luce nodded and poked Xanthus whose tail lashed in annoyance, "I'll try to keep him out of trouble this time"

They all said goodbye, each realizing that they had only just begun their adventures as Pokemorphs and ultimately Pokemon. After all, there is so much to do in the great wide world, and it's a small place for five new creatures, the likes of which no trainer had ever seen before.

Far from the five Pokemon and the place where they battled, another creature very similar to them sat in his cave and smiled. A great weight seemed to have lifted from his shoulders, and though he knew he was still a cursed being, he somehow felt like a little of the monster inside him was gone. As he walked out of his cave he looked down at one of the newest members of his pack. "So boss, who are you gunna bite today?"

"Oh, I might lay off on biting another person. After all, we wouldn't want to make my species too common, right?"

"Whatever you say boss!" The Poochyena said and bounded out into the tall grass. The creature smiled a fang filled smile and returned to his cave. Eventually there would be another unfortunate kid who would wonder into his grasp. And then the curse of the Mightyena would continue, and another of his kind would be born into the unsuspecting world.
