Under Ice: Enitnarauq (12)
New discoveries await them on Europa. The crew gathers their wits and head into the unknown. Is that a fish?
22 January 2083
Magnus powered down the ship. The raccoon checked the systems to make sure they weren't broadcasting. He adjusted his jockstrap before moving up the ship to the lounge. The rest of the crew had gathered around the table. He took his seat.
“Alright captain, we're secure," said Magnus.
“As you all know, the other day something grabbed Errol," said Diego, “This raised a few alarms at the ISA since we weren't dark when we viewed the headcam. We need to be really careful about how we move forward. Despite all of us being shaken or overwhelmed by the situation, if it happens again, we need to be sure we keep it hushed on the ship."
“They're really determined, aren't they?" Julio asked, the hyena was still skeptical but after he'd calmed down, he was willing to listen to reason that they may have had first contact.
“We need to continue breaking through the ice," said Diego, “We're going to revisit the place of the event. The probe we laid there has only moved about a hundred yards. Rasul is sure with the lack of activity in that area, the ocean beneath should still be vastly accessible."
“Scans indicate it's at least a three hundred mile wide pocket of water beneath the ice," said Rasul, “There's also a large heat source. If we're going to find anything, this will likely be the right area to search through."
“We're going to find a centralized spot and drill down until we break into the ocean," said Diego, “Then we're going to drop the drone in. We'll be going several miles down into the water."
“Miles?!" Errol exclaimed, “Did we get lucky and hit the shallow end?"
“We did," said Rasul, “It's hard to read on the scans, but we could be looking at depths as far as two to three miles deep. Once we have the drone in, we'll likely pick up scans of underwater caves leading in deeper than we expected."
“We figured the oceans would only be a mile deep," said Ken, “But going further in towards a heat source, we're likely to find more of the unusual."
“I swear, if we find monster algae with tentacles that latch onto shit, I'm quitting this mission," Julio leaned back in his chair.
“Not likely, you'd prob'ly jes try to fuck it," Marc smirked.
“I'll stuff it in you," Julio threatened him.
Diego pointed at the coyote, “Bruno, you're in charge of shutting down the ship in the event something happens. And keep in touch with Mikhail. He'll be working with our team at mission control by scrambling and manipulating our signals. The RFK network is the best cover we have."
“Yes, sir," Bruno nodded.
“The rest of us will continue business as usual," said Diego, “Magnus, restart the ship. Everyone, back to your stations."
Diego started writing up a report on a power surge to send back to mission control. The raccoon got the ship back to being fully functional. He passed by Bruno on the lower deck and hugged around the coyote. The coyote blushed.
“Sir?" Bruno was abashed.
“Just needed a hug," said Magnus, “This is starting to weigh on me I think."
Bruno held onto the huge arms wrapped around him, “We'll be alright, sir. I believe in you, and I'll follow you to the end of time."
“You're a good pup," Magnus flexed against the coyote before giving him a smack on his ass, “If you need help with anything, I'll be in my room getting a nap."
“You've been working too much," said Bruno.
“I know," said Magnus, “My sleep schedule is off. I didn't think we'd be in constant motion here, but something always needs to be done on the ship."
“You know me and Hugo are more than qualified," Bruno smirked.
“Ja, ja," Magnus chuckled, “That's why I'm willing to take a nap. Especially before going down today."
Magnus dropped down into his bed for a few hours. Ken was next door reading. The wolf was getting himself prepared for their trip down. Europa had a mystery for them to crack, and they've found a good spot that'll hopefully provide them answers. Harvey knocked on the wolf's wall.
“You ready to do this?" he asked.
“Yeah," Ken stood up, “This is going to be an interesting trip.
Harvey walked ahead of him down the ship, “If we find life, you know, something sentient. Do we have a plan to communicate?"
“We may have to wing it," said Ken, “On Earth, we used hand signals when we first communicated with all the marine species. We all read about the shark wars in history. It took us forever to communicate peace with them. This may or may not be the same case. Although, whatever's down there, it might be fascinated that something else exists."
“I hope for the latter," said Harvey as he lifted himself up into the gear room, “As long as it's not whales. They used to lumber through villages on the coastlines, destroying much in their path."
“Maybe we can write up a peace treaty," said Rasul who was already fully suited up.
Ken chuckled, “Let's not get too excited. We need to find this life first."
“Right you are," Diego opened the hatch into the Spider, “Let's load up."
Hyperion powered up the Spider and brought the team down. Magnus and Diego set to work on getting the drill set up. Harvey and Ken burned time by collecting ice core samples. Rasul was getting the drone ready for them. Magnus reversed the drill once they hit water and pulled it back in.
“We're ready," said the raccoon as he locked the drill up.
Rasul slid the drone down the icy tube and into the water. The other four gathered around to watch the wolverine dive into the depths. There was a faint glow deep down. Rasul headed his way toward it. The screen flickered and Magnus adjusted the signal for him.
“There's so much algae down there," said Harvey.
“What's that there?" Diego asked as he pointed.
Rasul steered his way toward what the bat was pointing at, “Oh fuck…"
“Those are fish," Ken gasped, “They look so weird. Get closer."
The wolverine zoomed in closer to the gathered clusters of fish around the algae. All of them were brightly glowing. The algae was clearly the source of their food. They were about two feet long and narrow. They have long, stiff looking fins and unusual engorgements along their underbelly. Rasul swooped in closer, zooming in over their bright yellow scales.
“They're beautiful," Harvey whispered, “I can't believe this. I'm shaking"
“I wish we could bring it to the ship," said Ken, “But the pressure change might kill it."
“Are these guys where that scale came from?" Diego asked.
“No," said Harvey, “They're much too small. And they're yellow all around. The piece that Marc found was rather large and white."
“Maybe they grow bigger and change color?" Magnus suggested.
“Good theory," said Harvey, “But I doubt it. They seem to move in schools, and they're all a variety of different sizes. It's unlikely they get much bigger than this."
The fish suddenly scattered.
“What happened?" Rasul spun the drone around, “What are they running from?"
“I don't see anything," said Ken, “I wonder if they finally noticed the drone or something."
“If that was reactionary, that must mean there's something here that does spook them," said Harvey, “A predator."
Ken looked at him, “Like the old saying goes; there's always a bigger fish."
“How deep are we?" Diego asked.
“We're about a mile down right now," said Rasul.
“See if you can find some deeper spots," the bat said.
Rasul roamed around while everyone else dispersed to either relax or help Ken get more core samples. The wolverine followed the schools of fish. They seemed to keep close to the bottom where the algae was. He wondered if they used it as camouflage. He slumped down as he felt a sharp pain shoot through his leg. His oxygen alert went off.
“Uh...Help!" Rasul called out, “My suit has a leak!"
The wolverine scrambled to find where the leak was. He patted along the side of his leg and felt the release of air against his glove. He gripped down hard around the hole as Diego came skipping across the ice with a suit patch. He slid Rasul's hand out of the way and slapped the goop covered strip over the puncture.
“What happened?" Diego asked.
“I dunno," said Rasul as he shifted his leg around, “I just felt a sharp pain and the alarm went off."
“Get back on the Spider and strip down," said Diego, “Make sure nothing penetrated and you're not bleeding out."
“Yeah," said Rasul, “Good idea."
The wolverine took one step and dropped down. He started to groan out. He felt a surge of heat roll through his body. He cried out as Diego picked him up. Rasul was panting and shaking violently in the bats hands.
“Magnus! Help!" Diego slung the wolverine's arm over his back, “Everyone back on the Spider, now! Leave the equipment!"
The team scrambled to get onto the spider. They made their way through decontamination and Diego laid Rasul onto the floor. Hyperion had them off the ground and heading back to the Nova at top speed.
“Take… Take my suit off!" Rasul cried as he appeared to be straining in pain.
Diego popped his helmet off. It floated away as the bat started to take the straps off of the wolverine. Rasul ripped his suit open and Diego backed away. The wolverine's cock was rock solid and swelling up. Rasul gasped out as he slid his suit and underwear down to let the pressure off. His back arched as he cried out and his manhood grew. Both his cock and balls were pulsing up to an incredible size. Everyone watched with open mouths at the spectacle before them.
“Hyperion, quarantine," Diego ordered.
The fennec took a moment to snap to, unable to take his eyes off of Rasul, and turned on the quarantine program. The Spider stopped in its tracks. Rasul was gripping onto whatever he could to keep himself secure. His eyes wide in fascination and fear. His cock was now a looming three foot pole with thick, throbbing veins. His testicles had swollen to double the size of watermelons. Pleasure gripped his body, causing him to whimper out.
“Uh… Captain…" Harvey broke Diego's attention to the wolverine, “What… What do we do?"
“Rasul?" Diego almost whispered to him.
“Y… yeah?" Rasul gasped out.
“Uhm… Are you ok?" the bat asked, slowly approaching him.
“I… d… don't know…" Rasul cried out with a moan.
*****
“Why the fuck is the quarantine protocol in place on the Spider?" Julio demanded in the darkened bridge, Bruno had turned off the ship's systems when the quarantine notice came through.
“I'm trying to patch a communication line to them" said Errol, “We had to shut off main communications as per Diego's orders when something unusual happens."
Julio rolled his eyes and walked away from Errol. He stopped into his office and grabbed his emergency pack and his research materials. He made his way to the back of the ship and grabbed Bruno by his coveralls and dragged him to the airlock.
“The fuck gives!?" Bruno cried out.
“I'm going to the Spider," Julio shoved his stuff into Bruno's arms and slid himself into a spacewalk suit.
“Y… you can't do that!" Bruno cried out, “Diego would want us to follow protocol."
“When have I cared about following rules, Bruno?" Julio glared at the coyote, the hyena buckled his suit shut and locked his helmet on, “Gimme."
Bruno handed him his stuff back, “We don't even know what's going on over there yet!"
Hugo came clambering into the airlock, “Nu-uh. You're not going anywhere."
Julio grabbed the nearest object he could use as a weapon, “A wrench?" The hyena held it up to threaten the tiger, “You're opening up the airlock, or I'm gonna wring your nipples off."
Hugo rolled his eyes, “You do realize you can't keep doing what you want, right?"
“If I had a reason to live, I wouldn't be out here," Julio shot at him, “I don't give a fuck what happens. I expected this to be my last mission because I thought it was suicide. I came along for the fun and excitement. Not to be contained in a box to twiddle my fucking thumbs. Now open the airlock you striped whore."
Hugo crossed his arms and looked to Bruno, “Open the airlock. Maybe he'll get lost out there."
“Good boy," Julio said as he dropped into the release chamber.
The hyena held tight to his bag as the airlock opened up. He felt the gravity release. He pushed out into space. He pivoted around to find where the Spider was. He turned on his propulsion to slowly maneuver his way to the ship. Bruno closed the airlock when the sound of feet came sprinting down the hallway. Errol skidded to a stop.
“Who went out the airlock!?" he cried out.
“A funny looking hyena," said Hugo.
Errol rolled his eyes, “Come on! I got a video feed pulled up inside the Spider. You're all going to want to see this." The weasel ran his way back up to the bridge where the rest of the ship was already gathered. All of them looked on in awe.
*****
Hyperion jumped when Julio came up to his window, the fennec turned in his seat, “Uh… Diego. The doctor is just outside of the Spider."
“Of course he is," Diego sighed, “Get the hatch open and let him in."
The hatch hissed open. The decontamination room flexed from the pressure change. The hyena slid his way inside and Hyperion closed the hatch behind him. Julio tilted his head as he assessed the situation behind the decontamination chamber.
“I didn't know he was so hung," said Julio.
Rasul held up his middle finger, “Get… f… fucked doc…"
“At least he's conscious," Julio opened the decontamination room to make his way in.
“What are you doing?" Diego asked.
“I need to come over there, and help my patient," said Julio.
“We don't even know what's wrong yet," Diego furrowed his brow.
“Yeah, I know," Julio rolled his eyes, “Why do you think I'm here?"
Diego knew better than to argue with Julio. The hyena made his way into the ship. He popped his helmet off and slid out of his suit. He didn't want Rasul to feel alone being the only one without a suit. Julio looked up and down over the large cock before him. He tutted before pulling out a syringe.
“Ok big boy," Julio stabbed the needle into one of the wolverine's balls, “Can you feel that?"
Rasul shook his head.
“Alright, you are numb with something then," Julio pulled out the needle and looked at the contents he pulled out, “Hmm… All white…"
Julio pulled out the microscope from his personal pack. He set up his slide with great difficulty. The lack of gravity was going to make this an interesting study for him. He stuck himself over the eyepiece and looked up after a few minutes.
“Guess what we have?" Julio grinned.
“Fresco Caballero?" Ken asked.
“Bingo," said Julio, the hyena looked over Rasul, “Um… So. You have a self-replicating protein inside of you. It spread itself rapidly through your cells. It's slowed down, but you're still growing. It appears you are unharmed though. What sensations are going on in your body?"
“I… I'm very horny," Rasul blushed.
“Aren't we all," Julio looked up at Diego, “I have a theory. It's a dumb theory. But this is a weird situation, so why not?"
“What do we do?" Diego asked.
Julio gripped over the engorged cock and slid his hand up, causing a large glob of precum to pop out, “We empty him out. Or you. You two are dating after all."
Rasul looked up at Diego and nodded, “It's w… worth a shot…"
“I suggest grabbing condoms to catch the fluids," said Julio, “There's a box of thirty-five in the storage box."
“Used one already, Julio?" Harvey asked, “I'm surprised you protect yourself."
“I like the feel of rubber every now and then," the hyena threw himself across the ship and pulled out the box, he threw it over to Diego, “Take him to the other side of decontamination. I'll shut the system off."
Diego handed the condoms to Rasul. The wolverine looked as if he was on the brink of tears and having the best orgasm of his life. Julio turned off the decontamination room and Diego carried Rasul into the rear of the ship.
“What are you all looking at?" Julio shot at everyone on the ship, “Give them some privacy."
Diego propped Rasul up against the cargo restraints for him to grab hold of, “You ok babe?"
Rasul nodded.
“Ok…" Diego slid the gloves off of his suit and grabbed the first condom, “I hope thirty five is enough…"
Rasul giggled, “Last time I'll ever hear that…"
Diego unfurled the condom and managed to slide the bottom over the head of the wolverine's cock, “You ready?"
Rasul braced himself, the tight squeeze of the condom obviously had him overwhelmed with pleasure, “P… please."
Diego held the condom in place, wrapping his other hand not even halfway around the throbbing monster before him. The bat started to stroke on Rasul. The wolverine arched his back with a cry. His moans made Diego blush. The bat kept on jacking him off. It wasn't long before the condom started to balloon with cum, or protein, or whatever this was.
Diego swapped it out for another. He started again. He kept stroking on his lover. The wolverine groaned with all sorts of sounds the bat had never heard him make. This was bringing him a new kind of pleasure. Diego kept at it, stroking that monster cock over and over again. The swollen shaft was getting noticeably smaller by the time they'd filled the tenth condom.
Rasul huffed out, “I think I'm gonna pass out…"
“Just hang in there, Cookie," said Diego, “Papa Grande almost has you emptied."
“This is the weirdest thing we've done" Rasul jokes.
Diego smiled. He continued to work. He filled up twentyone condoms before the wolverine was starting to show signs of being empty. Diego tied off the last condom and sighed. His arms were sore. Julio came into the back and looked over the floating condoms.
“Oversized water balloons," Julio sighed and stuck Rasul with another needle, he winced this time, “Ok. Feeling is back. Let me just run a test on your nut juice here, and make sure you're back to normal. And maybe I can get you something to take down your erection."
Julio went back through decontamination to run his tests. Diego held onto Rasul. The wolverine was soaked in sweat. The tiny beads were floating off of him. Thirty minutes passed before Julio came back to them.
“Alright, as far as I can, he's back to normal," said Julio, “The sample showed normal wolverine behavior."
“Thank fuck," Rasul laughed weakly.
“How's your loins?" Julio started to check the wolverine's vitals.
“Sore," he sighed.
“Alright," Julio let him go, “I'm gonna take one of your bags of jizz back on the ship with us for testing. Send the rest out the airlock."
“Are you sure that's safe?" Ken asked from the other side of the decontamination chamber.
“We're no longer safe," said Julio turning to face him, “Something unexplained happened to Errol, and now to Rasul. You all wanted to stay here and play the danger game. We're deep in it now. May as well commit."
“Grab one and lets get back to the ship," said Diego.
Julio grabbed his sample condom and they made their way back into the main part of the ship. Hyperion opened up the airlock when he took off to dock. The condoms flew out the back to never be seen again. The fennec zoomed in over the Nova and docked. Diego helped Rasul get out and down to medical. Magnus headed down ship to help Bruno get everything back online.
After Julio got them settled in and, much to Rasuls horror, pulled blood out of him through his dick to get his boner to go down. Julio then pulled a sample from the insertion sight on Rasul's leg. It looked like a jagged needle had stuck him. Julio left him and Diego in medical to go study the contents of the condom and blood. The other four scientists were waiting for him. Ken had the sample broken out into a beaker for him.
“Well, this is an unusual surprise," said Julio.
“You're the biologist," said Ken, “We'd rather you do the honors this time."
Julio chuckled and stuffed the filled beaker into one of the boxes and talked in a hushed voice, “Semen Demon. Fitting name. Now lets see how this shit works after it's out of the body."
The five of them took turns going over samples. Julio was disappointed that it had the same structure as H. Bac. He slammed his head against the box. He did take note that it was multiplying at a faster rate than their first discovery of H. Bac.
“It must be multiplying like this since it's fresh," whispered Harvey.
“Sounds about the best suggestion," Julio crossed his arms, “I was hoping I would get to name something new though."
“You can name the…"Kuga went to say but had his mouth covered by Marc.
The kangaroo had him squeezed in between his pecs, “Next find. Sorry ye dint find somethin' new babe."
“It's fine," Julio sighed, “But it is acting differently than the first sample we found."
“Maybe the location changed it?" Ken suggested.
“We'll have to keep a lookout," said Julio, “I think that's all we can do for now. Lets take a break, and we'll come back to this later."
Diego had helped Rasul get to the captains quarters. He was shaky from all the overstimulation. Diego sat down and pulled the wolverine down against him. Rasul gasped as he kept his legs open.
“Everything is really sensitive," Rasul leaned the back of his head against the bat's chest.
“I'm sorry this happened to you," Diego held the wolverine tight to him.
“It's ok," Rasul held his arms over his, “I'm just glad it was you that helped me get empty. I can't even imagine what Julio would have done to me."
“Halfassed and not sensual," Diego chuckled.
Rasul sighed, “It was pretty incredible though. I'm a little baffled that my stuff shrunk back down."
“I'm sure it did something weird on the molecular level," said Diego, “All from something stabbing you in the leg."
The ship powered down.
Diego sighed, “Now what?"
Someone ran by. He didn't want to leave Rasul. He was going to wait until someone came to get him. He heard the medical room slide shut and lock. Then came the pounding.
“Dunt you dare!" came Marc's voice.
“Sorry babe," Diego slid out from under Rasul and went to see what was going on, “Marc? Why the racket?"
The kangaroo was trying to force medical open while pounding against the door, “He's goin' te inject himself!"
“What!?" Diego ran over and stared into medical.
Julio was pulling a sample of Rasul's drippings into a syringe. The hyena stared both the kangaroo and bat down. Marc slammed against the door over and over. Diego shook his head at the hyena. Julio stuck the needle into his thigh and emptied the contents into himself.
