Chapter 2: Double Trouble Climax

Randoport city, one of the four major seaports in the Rando region it's the lifeblood of the Rando region's imported goods. In this massive region being so isolated came with its own problems but also it's advantages, Being allowed to grow and evolve soon able to sustain itself without outside influences, but the desire of good form other region where high...while the money gain from exporting goods was another factor to help keep the Rando region afloat.

Alex, Roxy and Ivy walked past the welcoming archway entering the busy city. People and pokemon from all around the world arriving here ready to face this massive and dangerous place. Alex quickly notices a few trainers, their pokemon close beside them seeing it all filled his mind with innocence curiosity.

"Well, back here again," Roxy grumbled.

Alex patted her back, "don't worry we'll grab a few things do some stuff, we'll be back on the road by tomorrow, we can go to a hotel instead of camping."

"A hotel?" She asked, "I've been in a few back home tho rarely, so cool."

Hewas alittle surprised but she was a 'wild girl' as said by her. They continued walking the concrete path the crowd stared slowly appearing before them as it became more busy with people and their own pokemon.

"Wow look at that one," Roxy suddenly said excited pointing to a pokemon

It was a large, having a brown hide with several raised patches and a cream-coloured belly. It has large, cream coloured ears, narrow, red eyes, and a short, rounded snout with two fangs in the back of its upper jaw, on top of its head is a thick, black plate. There weregrowths over its shoulders and a row of spikes down its back. It had a pouch containing a baby pokemon.

"Scan it!"

Rolling his eye to his excited companion he quickly got his Pokedex. The large pokemon sitting next it's a trainer who was talking to another person with a pokemon on his shoulder both too deep in a conversation to notice him.

"Kangaskhan, The Parent Pokémon. If you come across a young Kangaskhan playing by itself, you must never disturb it or attempt to catch it. The baby Pokémon's parent is sure to be in the area, and it will become violently enraged at you."

As Roxy and Ivy glazed in curiosity Alex noticed that pokemon had a little poke ball icon tapping, reveal it was 'someone else's pokemon' interesting but his heart almost stopped when he saw the level...34, it was a powerful thing one he certainly didn't want to piss off.

"I think we should move alone...Wanna find a cafe?"

"Sure I could do with a snack."

He looked to Ivy who nodded too, so with all in agreement they moved deeper into the city itself finding a small cosy corner cafe with some outside chairs and tables. Being a warm bright day, the sun'sraywarming up there bodies they went for it, noticing more people and their pokemon out enjoying this sunny day.

Roxy dragged him along sitting down she easily relaxed into the metal seat resting her wary legs, he did too Ivy moving off his shoulder to the table moving his backpack getting out his town map but it was quickly stopped by Roxy.

"You're already going to start planning? Relax a little buddy."

"I'll be more comfortable if we knew where we were going so I can prepare-"

"Alex! We have all the time in the world to plan, let just relax and enjoy this day we can sort that stuff out later."

"I thought you hated cities?"

She shrugged, "well kinda I hate being on my own in cities but being with a friend make it better I didn't get a chance to really explore this place because I was in a rush to find the next forest."

Looking to the device and his friend seeing Ivy even agreeing he caved in, slowly put the town map v2.0 away she was right why did he feel so rushed then, his action was rewarded with Ivy patting his arm making him laugh quietly at the action, she smiled.

Still a little nervous and complicated after...Last night's grand event he didn't want to show it he did feel a lot better but still after so long one doesnt simply accept it straight away, he shook his head he wouldn't let it ruined this moment.

"My, my look at the cute girl."

Confused he glanced to Roxy looking away toward another table he slowly followed her eye coming to a male trainer and his pokemon sitting next to him. Resting its head on the table noticing it golden furry nine waving tails and pricing red eyes, he blushed slightly to which Roxy notice grinning.

"A Ninetails, truly a beautiful pokemon."

He blushed even harder yeah she was seeing this female graceful pokemon sitting there his perverted mind took over trying not to think about those tail wrapping tightly around him pulling him toward her as she lifted her as revealing her soaking wet fiery...Wait! He thought it again he quickly looked away.

Roxy noticed her friend grinning whiling nudging him, teasing. He grumbled silently they had spoken about this earlier in the forest...he was still new to all this he didn't need Roxy to get all mischievous again...A pokemon harem...He sighed. Glancing to her friend she gave him some space while they waited, Ivy look a little jealous but not overly she just sat and watched everything go by.

A young waitress around Alex's age came over, a sweet button shirt hugged her body, the woman soon appeared before the group.

"Hey you all, here some menus, call if you see something that catches you eye," the waisted said passing some menus.

"Sweet thanks," Roxy said quickly grabbing a menu.

Alex smiled and nodded...Slightly nervous,she was cute, "thank you."

"Snivy," she said nodding like her master.

The waitress simply smiled and walked off letting the group see the menu, the chance to relax was nice. Sure camping is fun but sitting in a fancy chair in a fancy looking cafe...There was something slightly peaceful about it...Welcoming even.

"Oooo what this Vanillite icy cream...is it made form a real Vanillite!?"

"What? Is that a pokemon where you're from? But I don't think they serve a pokemon as ice cream...it might look like it...maybe," he almost questionednever having tried one himself, "and don't you think it a little early for ice cream?"

"Never too early for ice cream...Never," She grinned happily.

"Suit yourself you'll get a stomach ache," he turned back to his menu...stealing glancing at the nine tails nearby...And another pokemon that caughthis attention.

A Totodile on the shoulder of a male trainer, freezing like a blizzard...Nathan? It wasn't until the kid turned...it definitely wasn't him. standing there with what looked like his friend who had their own pokemon with them a Chikorita and a Cyndaquil, if he remembers they were from the Johto region...It must be nice.

A group of friends ready to start their Rando region adventure...it formed a small pit of pain and jealousy, sinking into his heart...His friend betrayal.

"Snivy?" Ivy lightly poked his shoulder a wary look on her face.

He smiled and rubbed her head, "I'm fine buddy...I'm fine."

"You sure?" Roxy asked.

"Yeah, yeah just gonna take a while till I'm...100% about what happened...Can't help it really."

"Ah...Don't worry buddy, you'll get over it and hey you got us, me and Ivy can't be THAT bad," she exaggerated with a foxy smile.

He chuckled, "Nah your already."

More than glad theywere here really, he owes them so much already with his desire and now...now a deep part of him wanting to go crazy, like a caged pokemon for years now letting loose...It made him shiver he only had a taste of it...A fucking taste.

890 pokemon...He didn't want to catch them all...he wanted to fuck them all...He needed to get his head out of the gutter.

"Sir?"

A gentle voice shook him from his thought the waitress again asking for what they wanted, quickly ordering a sandwich, Ivy wanted a saladhoney mix with Roxy ordering that ice cream, the girl wrote it down and quickly left, he checked his wallet glancing to Roxy.

She saw his look turning red glancing away, "w-what?"

"Do...You have any Pokémon Dollars?

Looking a little guilty playing with her hair she shook her head.

"N-No...I mean I had some before but not anymore...Sorry, could you? I promise too-"

Roxy it's fine," he quickly said relaxing the girl, "I don't mind I do have a lot from my job back at home so we're fine for a while."

Still she looked a little guilty but smile anyway thanking him...Promising to repay him later, the food came and it was lovely having this chance to relax Alex enjoyed it seeing his strange friend and pokemon enjoying there meal he was reminded at how relaxing it could be to just...Relax, new people around his age were always rare there were only ever 3 back home, Him, Nathan and Heather.

With that donethe group left the cafe after paying. Ivy now on his shoulder watching all the people and building with Alex and Roxy pondering on the side.

"Where should we go first? You're the city person?" Roxy teases leaning down showing off the top of her cleavage.

Alex gulped a little remembering them knowing what they looked like under her tight clothing, he needs to stay focus this wasn't the time to think about sex he wasn't a complete pervert...Right?

"First we need to buy stuff, mostly food and camping gear, some more sleeping bags will do nicely."

"Sleeping bags? Wouldn't it be cheaper, easy and so much more fun to all slept together?"

"Not when we head to the colder places...But don't worry we can do that anywhere else," he replied a little happy she enjoyed that.

Snuggling together it was quite intimate, the warmth the closeness he surprisingly really liked it.

"Fine then, anywhere else?"

"I got some idea, there a place we need to go then after we still need to plan where to go."

"We can do that later after some fun, there has to be fun stuff to do around here right?"

He shrugged, "I don't know but theiris some place important I want to go...Something me and my friends was going to do."

Pain poking at his heart, when ever they came up. A light pat from ivy straighten his mind, a kind look form Roxy helped it along he smiled.

"Don't worry about me and besides we might figure out where they went...It a very special building that only exists in this region! No other one has it."

"Well, what is it!" Roxy shared bouncing in excitement.

"You'll see it later," he said being a tease for once, "it will solve any money problems we might have but one thing at a time," he turns looking to Roxy, "come on let explore a little."

The bouncing excitable Roxy rang over and hugged his arm like an affectionate girlfriend, he paid before they left heading into the city again Ivy back on his shoulder.

Rando port was a massive place to the south was the very port where cargo and passage come being one of the three main port it was a booming business with grand hotels and lines of stores, Store that Alex visited.

Roxy and Ivy's eye sparkled with interest everything seeming so new and shiny to them he let them have their fun while he silently planned again, after easily finding an 'Outdoor Store' to get the extra gear they needed, and even with tin food for his cooking pot, the dinners he could make actually excited him a little, getting more, for now, Roxy, they left and continue on. Roxy wanting to buy stuff but it would be a little useless on this adventure and she didn't have any money for it putting him a little edgy, trying to make him buy it.

Anyway everything fitting easily into his small backpack they moved alone finding a pokemon park.

A natural place for people and pokemon to relax together with a stone pathway with a large lake, street lamp and brown benches. It was a peaceful place with an open area away from the main park for pokemon and trainers to play, battle or simply bond...But right now a large crowd had formed, peekingthe group's interest.

As they closed in a voice rang out laughing and another sobbing.

"Arceus damn it! Your pokemon is too op!" A trainer cried out.

Pushing through the crowd noticing a circle in the middle was a trainer on his knees bitter and angry. On the other side of the clearing, the winner stood proudly, a massive smug grin on his face. His pokemon by his leg punching his four fists together.

"Stop being a cry baby," the winning trainer spoke his hat on backwards, "everyone else here had lost, no one can beat my level 12 Graveler!"

"Graveler! Grav!" the strange bolder shaped pokemon cheered.

"Scan it," Roxy whispered next to his ear, Ivy staring at the rock with a slight frown on her face, Alex didn't notice tho getting the dex out.

'Graveler, the rock type pokemon, It climbs up cliffs as it heads toward the peak of a mountain. As soon as it reaches the summit, it rolls back down the way it came.'

"Huh, strange yet kinda funny...Let fight it."

"Snivy!" Ivy said pumped looking from Roxy to Alex that determined look again.

Conflicted he looking back at the experienced trainer then to Ivy and Roxy.

"I don't know, Ivy is under levelled and this is clearly an experienced trainer, you know wehaven't done anything like that before."

Roxy rolled her eyes, Ivy too. She knew he was just being wary of her, certainly not a risk taker, especially when she was concerned.

"Come on it a rock type, grass are like...4 times effective! I'm a wild girl and even I know that Ivy will destroy that egotistical blockhead."

"I know that and I trust Ivy," he glanced to her, he meant it before turning back to Roxy, "but it's the trainer, the wild litleowe faced was a wild this is a trained capture pokemon, I don't want to bite off more than we can chew."

Again Alex's logical mind questioned their judgment both girls knowing he was right, however, the two girls looked from each other than to the gloating champion still waiting for a challenger...A grin formed ontheirfaces making him wary.

"Don't you want to beat this trainer?"

"Of course," he whispered, "he's kinda an asshole but again experienced trainer we-"

"You and Ivy did a lot of trainingin the forest! Think of this as you first real battle, you want to battle stronger people right?"

He froze realising he never told her his other dream of beating the elite four. Scratching his head, Ivy patted it giving an encouraging fierce look, she really wanted to fight...Maybe, it worked with the Litleo.

"S-Still-"

"Oh for Arceus sake have some more conference!" she said still Alex wasn't budging so she frowned, "Sorry, I promise to repay you later."

"What?"

Before he could go on she pushed him past the crowd into the open, the guy himself and his pokemon turning to the newcomer.

Alex the slightly introverted pokemon pervert froze at the attention.

"I heard this guy can kick your ass," Roxy shouted from the crowd.

"Roxy!" He whispered turning back pissed of as hell at the grinning girl, shrugging giving him two thumbs up, silently wishing him luck.

"Oh you think you can challenging me?" the asshole snicked.

Crossing his arm smirking right in his face, Ivy moved pissed before he could get any closer, the gravel growling punching his own fists ready to fight.

"I-I err."

"look shaking in his own boots, having second thoughts pussy?"

Now he was frowning the guy reminding him of Nathan, which just got his blood boiling, Ivy glare too even more pissed at this asshole being rude to her trainer a fierylook in the grass type's eyes. The trainer straightens up, serious.

"No...I-I want to c-challenge you," Alex said fearful yet not wanting to back down.

"Great we haven't faced a grass type today...And I'm not even scared."

Pulling out the dex looking like a Rando region design but with a blue colour to it.The crowd murmur on him winning or not, some pulling out there own dex to scan Ivy, the guy pushed his toward Alex as he just froze confused.

"Dude get you dex out I've sent a fight request."

"Fight...Request?"

The guy rolled his eye annoyed, "don't tell me this is your first trainer fight it easy, get you dex out, got to the menu with pokemon, identity, people and shit, find the one with the spiky Pokeball."

Getting his Pokedex out, looking down seeing the menu the apps, he noticed the spike Pokeball named '_Battle,'_had a little '!' mark on it, he quickly pressed it seen a battle request.

'Kevin want to battle, Accept?"

Under was a yes and a no, with Ivy looking overseeing it he looked to her and she gave a final nod. She really did want to fight with that a silent sigh passed him as he pressed accept.

A little animation appeared of two Pokeball clashing together with 'duel' on it.

"Great, finally, we're going to need some space people, move!" Kevin shouted.

They listened without hesitation, a massive man-made arena formed of the crowd around them, Alex looked to Ivy nervously.

"You sure you can do this?."

A little notification came to his Pokedex, both turning seeing a little animation of two Pokeball mashings together the worlds 'READY!?' came up. Another nervous glance to Ivy gave him the encouragement he needs seeing the fierce look on her face, Alex slammed his finger down.

Another animation came revealing his name and his opponent's name...Kevin. music blazing out of the device making him yelp, why the hell would random music start out of nowhere!? The other guy rolled his eyes.

"If you want to turn off the music press the little speaker in the top corner!"

He quickly noticed it tapping it a little cross appeared in the speaker and the music stopped.

"Now newbie, Lets! Battle! Graveler! Get out there and win this, I'm getting hungry."

The rouge rocky covered pokemon nodded with a familiar hungry to it's trainer rolling forward entering the arena, with a look and nod from Ivy he knew she was ready...Their first trainer battle this was going to be a tough.

"Ivy to the field!" he shouted...Not really knowing what to shout.

Jumping from his shoulder lunging ontothe field pumped ready a grin on her face the fires of battle rising inside her...Afeeling she been getting used to...And loving.

Both men stared at each other Alex's opponent quickly grinned, "Graveler! Use rock throw!"

Shoving his hand into the ground suddenly bring out a large rock using it hand to lift the thing, in the next moment he threw it the thing lunging straight for her.

"Dodge it, Ivy!"

She ran forward toward it he was about to question her, command her to dodge away but she slid under it! Being a full bright day the sun blazing down upon her, being slim and small it was enough to slide under the Graveler threwn rock.

"What!?" the other trainer shouted in disbelief.

The rock slammed into the ground, Alex though quickly, a quick glance done at the moves he had.

"Ivy! Use razor leaf!"

She listened, with a flick of her arms from her golden shoulder many leaves emergedshooting right at the rock pokemon.

"Dig Graveler!"

Using it sold hand clawing at the ground in desperation, digging into the ground escaping Ivy attack that just flew effortlessly above it.

A rumbling echoed underground leaving him and Ivy confused, the distraction had given the Graveler the moment it needs for the earth under Ivy's feet shifted and bursting from the ground itself Graveler's fist punching her into the air.

"Ivy!" He shouted Roxy nearby watching warily.

In the air the rock pokemon got on above her bring his fist together and smashing the pokemon back to the ground, she looked hurt growling in response but she was up again ready, the other pokemon slamming into the ground like a meteorite. Dust and dirt covering the arena blocking everyone view, a grin on the trainer's face.

Alex heart almost stopped worried about Ivy, Roxy watched with him from afar, everyone just...Watched.

Suddenly something small came from the dust cloud, an injured but stable Ivy a little scratched up yet stood her ground, She must of dodge before he hit the ground.

"Good job buddy! Razor leaf again!" he shouted.

The grass type did her thing, shooting her arm forward summon the leaves blasting it, the dust quickly settle the rock having barely any time to-

"Dig again!"

Hastily clawing into the ground the leave went just over its body, sliding almost like a snack into the unknown, Alex frowned, the same move twice? Yet he did the same,knowing if her vine went anywhere near him he could grab them and smash her to the ground, he looked far to heavy for Ivy to lift.

The ground under ivy shifted again yet both knew what was coming, he didn't need to say it she dodges the rock pokemon coming straight past her blasting into the air quickly falling smashing into the ground.

The crowd strangely look a little shocked Roxy looking around just as confused as Alex was.

"Your pokemon moved by itself! You didn't tell it to dodge!"

The young man only raised an eyebrow, "I...W-Well she knows how to dodge on her own."

"But that's not normal! You just...let her do her own thing? What happens when she does something you don't want her to do?"

Alex and Ivy just shared a confused look.

"I...We...This is our first trainer battle ok, we've done a few pokemon battles but I trust my friend, we both wanna win, we're working together...I'm not just going to command her like some beast at my disposal...If things d-don't work out we talk...Or try too anyway....Isn't that normal?"

The crowd of people some holding or had there pokemon on their shoulders or by theirlegs seeming to think about his words for a moment, the crowd left in an eerie silence which just made Alex panic.

"Whatever man, I don't care," his opponent shouted, "I want to beat you and be done, Graveler! usedig!"

"Seriously!?" Roxy's voice clearly echoed from the crowd annoyed.

The guy ignored that too, with dust already settling the pokemon dug ungrounded...Again, seriously!? Spamming the same overpowered move was getting annoying. Both Alex and Ivy knew what was coming they just and to wait from it, Alex noticed a mean look in his eyes a smirk forming on his face.

"Now Graveler! Use rock throw!"

Rock throw!? But he was underground!? How could he...Suddenly the ground shook something under ivy feet Alex panic.

"Move!"

She did reacting form where she was a rock, blasted into the air, everyone watched it coming forth it, they could do that!? Then rumbling under Ivy's feet, she was too distracted and the pokemon came crashing out under her sending her flying.

"No!" Alex cried out.

"Oh yes! The one-two plan bitch! Fuck that snake thing up Buddy!"

The four-arm pokemon only nodded flung into the air ivy was grabbed by the rock pokemon then cruelly throwback down, fast, really face she saw the ground coming her fast...and all holes, glancing to her worried master face rage built inside her, her first real battle and this was how she was going out?

Some guy spamming the same move? No way she won't let it happen...losing this battle, would surely affect her master's self-esteem. Her instincts flared up in the sunlight, radiating across her body a plan quickly came to mind seeing the floor.

Hesitating for only a moment remembering what that to her trainer said...about doing something her master didn't...but she also remembers what her trainer said...They were a team...he trusted her just as she trustedhim.

She hoped he would trust her for just this little bit longer.

Alex watch ivy came crashing to the ground...Suddenly disappearing. The crowd watched on seeing nothing, all staring confused just as the Graveler came crashing down causing dust and dirt to flare up around him, he lookedeager for his target finding nothing.

"What the fuck!?" The guy shouted, staring over at Alex, "where the hell is your pokemon!?"

Alex looked around just as everyone else did look to Roxy who just stared just as confused, shrugging.

"I-I don't know...Ivy!" he shouted for her...But heard nothing.

The area was silent all searching for the pokemon, where was it?

Then movement.

From one of the holes something small, long and green jumped out...right behind the rock pokemon.

Ivy, a small smirk on her face, Alex's eye lit up, smiling seeing she was ok, the rock Pokemon's trainer seeing it too.

"Dodge it!"

Dodge what? The gravel panicked nothing seeing Ivy shot a barrage of sharp dagger-like leaves striking the rock type in the back.

It looked like it hurt sending the thing flying into the ground it turns seeing the pokemon.

"Now! Use rock throw!"

Using two of its four arms to scoop the ground before throwing it straight at her.

But before it could hit her she had fallen back into the hole.

Seeing Ivy disappeared the crowd was left in silence, confused by the event, trainer and pokemon growling annoyed.

"What the fuck is going on!? Fine then Use dig! Quickly."

Graveler nodded charging into the ground but again Ivy came coming to form another hole blasting razor leaves at it.

Direct hit stopping it in his track, it was getting weaker now.

Ivy felt back into the hole again. The guy looks like he about to burst with rage.

"Just what is happening!?"

"The tunnels!" Shouted a girl all turned to her a navy blue short hair girl holding a sandsherk in her arms, "she's using the tunnels made from Graveler to move around!"

A sea of clarity washed over them all now they understood kind amazed by the genius.The trainer telling Graveler to dig so many time had made countless tunnels undergorund, tunnels that the speedy small pokemon could use...A taste of his own medicine.

"Seriously!? T-That got to be cheating!"

"Your fault for spamming one attack!" Roxy shouted from the crowd, many other murmuring the same thing...Guessing that how they lose the battle he kept on using such a move.

The guy glared at her looking like he had to actually think for once in the quick think he came with a cunning plan.

"Graveler! Use rock throw and cover the holes!"

The rock pokemon who was looking pretty beaten up hearing his master voice he did just that, desperately scooping rocks throwing it at the holes blocking them with his strength and arm he did it.

Too fast for Ivy to come back up again. Alex watches warily knowing she was still down the hole in those tunnels he quickly figured out the guy's plan, leaving only one hole left the gravel was about to fill it.

"Wait!" he shouted the rock type did, "use dig! Rip her out from the ground! That damn snake! And if you see her come up use rock throw!"

It understood the command having the same idea already digging.

What does Alex do?

Call and warn her? Tell her to get out leading her into a trap! Or what?

Still, he needed to say something.

"Ivy! He using dig! He's coming for you!"

He had no idea if she heard but he hoped she did the crowd watched silently, excited a buzzing fire between man and pokemon watching a real true fight, would she jump out? Or not making the crowd go a little wild.

The Graveler made it undisturbed. Both pokemon now lurked under the earth everyone, breathless, silent waiting for something to happen.

Something green shot out the hole.

"Ivy!" he said relived seeing the cunning pokemon she wore a smirk her the one she always wore.

An eye glanced to him seeing the relief on her innocent master face she looked down seeing the Graveler coming straight up to where she was.

All she need to do was move expecting the attack ready to avoid, she was too fast the blazing sunlight...It made her faster. Alex noticed her looking down...it was coming looking to the disturbed earth and the through heavy rock, an idea came to mind....He just...reacted.

"Ivy! Use vine whip on the rock to move!"

Glancing to him and the rock behind her she instantly reacted pulling herself as the Graveler shot past.

Ivy changed her course continuing with her plan. Letting go she used her second vine to latch onto the flying rock both flung into the air. The crowd gasp watching her Alex stared confused yet he trusted her.

This would be risky, after a few times launched in the air, she noticed one thing.

Moment.

She could useit hanging onto the helpless rock, so tough and defensive it could move in the air...Being far too heavy for Ivy to lift him on the ground but in the air she could! Enough for her to throw him over and back down.

Alex watched its hand while the rock flew up she wrapped her vine around it, seeing the confusion on its face knowing he was far too heavy for her he suddenlyfound himself turn over, wailing about panicking.

With that devilish smirk on her face she threw him down, sending him crashing.

He was defenceless having no way to fight backthe new attack he just locked up expecting the hard floor. Ivy falling there ready for a razor leaf, she had the perfect opportunity to finally finish then and win this battle...So why wasn't she doing anything?

Alex quickly got his answer seeing her staring at him a look kinda shouting 'Do it! Say it!'.

Oh...He got it.

"Ivy! Use razor leaf!"

Instantly she did it a barrage of leaves shooting right at the pokemon again.

Direct hit!

Right in the back! Right, where it didn't expect it! It had to be a critical hit!

As the pokemon smashed into the ground Ivy landed closely behind.

Everyone waited, watching stunned by what they just watched even Alex he had no idea...How did she even come up with something like that!? Intense!

"Graveler get up!" his trainer said wary, anger confused all the emotions of a losing trainer.

The rock pokemon struggle, slowly getting beaten back and blue on his solid body staring at ivy who was tried but ready continue.

"Gravel...ler," he felt back...Swirls in his eyes.

Everyone stared in disbelief the newcomer beating the gravel in such a fashion.

A little jingled appeared on his Pokedex! A big 'You Win!'

"Ivy!" he shouted smiling, "we won! We won our first trainer battle!"

Ivy turned back even surprised herself. The crowd came alive with cheer both pokemon and human in delight! Kevin fell to his knee angry yet...Defeated.

"Damn it," was the only thing he said grabbing his ball putting his prized pokemon back.

Seeing that red beam the pokemon disappeared, finally alone Ivy fell a little...The battle taking a lot out of her.

Alex immediately ran to her pocketing the dex, even as it notified him of her level rising to 10. He didn't care about that.

"Ivy!" he cried out as people came closer he plucked her fromthe grass, bring her close to his warm chest, "we did it! Well, you did it...Again, but that was amazing...Thank you at the end."

Ivy gave a tried smile a cute little fist pump from her hand before giving out, content to coiled right into Alex careful of the battle wounded Ivy in his arm a bright smile on her face with eyes sparkling like gems.

"Alex! Ivy!" A familiar voice shouted out...Roxy.

Watching her running her breast bouncing and hair flowing, Some of the guys just watched them bounce, some of the girls looked on slightly jealous.

"I knew you both could do it!" she shouted hugging them, her breast starting to bug Ivy.

The pokemon shook it head she aching she moved from his arm to his shoulder everyone around watching them...Ivy just crosses her arms and smirked.

"Snivy!"

Alex was...Proud only staring at his pokemon he turned back to Roxy that wide eye innocent happy smile...She was the one that got him into this.

"Your so cool!" a girl said from the side getting their attention.

She was cute with long blond hair and a Kirlia in her armsstaring up at them.

"The way you beat that bully! What your number?"

"W-What!?" he said confused wary.

He wasn't used to so many smile friendly people living In a small town...now a whole freaking crowd all eager for his attention.

"You know your Pokétch number? so we can be friends!"

He froze...Friends, that might be nice, a few ideas coming to mind at the sounds of that more people came to join in begging for his number too, Roxy and Ivy to almost fighting then up seeing their friend getting stressed.

"Hey!" sounded a familiar voice the crowd turned and parter for Kevin the once undefeated champion of this area...he looked pissed.

No one sad a thing as he came in closer Alex just stood there panicking slightly lucky tho again Roxy and Ivy had his back ready for a fight.

Standing there waiting for...Something he sighed.

"Good match man...I needed it," he said surprising everyone a softer yet still tough look on his face, "I kinda grew an ego from winning so much."

"Kinda?" Roxy said leaning in a little.

"Ok a lot I can't help get overconfident, I'm a new trainer and this Graveler is actually my brother's being a little parting gift...I wanted to make him proud...I want to evolve him but I have no idea how."

Alex, Ivy and Roxy turned to each other probably through how most pokemon evolve through combat and training.

"Trading!" A girl said a wild crazy purple hair one said with a haunter, "thathowmy pokemon evolve...Y-You wanna trade?" she asks meekly.

Kevin eye almost sparkled nodding, "yeah I'll do it! Thank you?"

"G-Gothy, my name."

"Gothy...Nice...Well," he turned back to Alex that smug grin returning, "next time we meet you're in trouble buddy," a fiery determination in his eyes, "I'm going to win."

At that moment staring at his possible rival, Alex toughed up nodded, "I wish you luck."

He thought it was a cool line, Kevin giving respect nodded before him and the hex manic went off together to evolve theirpokemon, the crowd leftIn silenceas he finally sighing out looking to Roxy and ivy...Hoping it was a cool line.

"Finally! I thought it would never end!"

Roxy complained as the group left the park returning to the main part of the city.

"Did you really have to get everyone's number?" she added raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah because they might need help or we may come across each other, we can even call them to help us! Trainers got to stick together in one of the biggest region in the world, they might find a secret location with some rare pokemon, new ones are being found everyday."

"Huh," Roxy seemed quite interested, "technology has really advanced."

"Yep," Alex said still high off that pokemon battle.

Like, they just won there first ever triner battle! The start in his career to become the best in the region. Ivy, Roxy and Alex headedfor the pokemon centre Ivy looked ok but knew she was just being tough back in his arms he held after such a battle she was the star winner after all.

It was like she was born for battling...Even so, he was curious.

"Hey Ivy," he said softly letting the resting Snivy snuggling in his arms, "have you battle before? Because...I've noticed your like really, really good at fighting even tho you've spent your whole life in the professor's lab, so I can't help be curious, diving into those holes I couldn't have ever thought of it."

She raised her lazy head an eye lookingat him as they entered the city itself walking down a main path people passing by ignoring them.

"Snivy, vy, vy Ivy."

He looked to Roxy his strange pokemon translator who listen.

"Oh cool, from what Ivy says, when she and two other pokemon a Fennekin and a Totodile lived at the lab the professoralright knew their destiny, to become started for the three only kids in Seadrop, knowing they would be going on a grand adventure she decided to educate them. Letting them watch tons of tv, pokemon battles, survival videos all to preparing them to be the best starters they could be, for whoever picked them...Her and the Fennekin really become obsessed with battling while the Totodile enjoyed the environment survival videos, but a small rivalry formed between the two, even if Ivywas a weaker type it didn't matter the two formed a good friendship too excited to face each other In battle. So that's how she is so good at fighting, it's incredibly." she said making Alex's eyes widen the professor did that for them?"

She continued explaining that knowing her daughter and her closest friends were going together she wanted at least someone, even if they're a pokemon to help look afterthem. Ivy became more cunning, a sharp quick thinker using a unique and unpredictable style of fighting while Fennekin took inspiration from the winners, copying or adapting that pokemon's style, all to be ready for the adventurer...Tho Ivy is a little sad her first pokemon battle wasn't with her rival but she understood why.

Alex felt back look down at his pokemon who had a tiny sad look on her face, he was feeling guilty.

"Sorry...if Heather picked you or Nathan then you two might of fought...Sorry, you ended up with a weirdo me."

She reacted frowning, slapping him with her vine, stunning him slightly...She was fucking pissed shouting at him almost causing a scene.

"She right," Roxy joined in, "it not your fault! it's your 'so-called' friends who abandoned you! Don't say sorry bud," she wrapped a comforting arm around him, "she's happy, she loves fighting and she like you as her master...you may be a weirdo but you a kind hearted weirdo. She knows one day she'll face that Fennekin, it will just make it all the sweeter when both pokemon find each other, ready with some experience, destinedrivals, how exciting huh."

Hearing that made him feel...Hopeful better even, glancing down at the Snivy who gave an encouraging look it was sweet, she always looking out for him. At this moment he was thankful to have a bothof them here, he didn't know what would happen if they weren't...Probably sulking in his own misfortune.

"Your right, thanks girls...Still, we won our first trainer battle! This is amazing! Your amazing Ivy."

She crosses her arm and sat happily with a content smug look on her beautiful face, in his arm carried like a princess, her throne, she was in a very good mood.

"We should celebrate!"

"Yeah, we should later, but right now we're finally somewhere special."

"Spill the bean buddy!" she started bouncing it was cute as they walked along Alex grinned a little.

"My lips are seal, I want to head to the poke centre before going there but it will handle all money problems we might have."

"Oh yeah, that."

Roxy pouted it was cute, they quickly found the centre tall with a stylish orange roof next to it was a smaller building with a blue roof, a pokemart...Maybe he should go in there? Maybe. Anyway, they head inside everything was done in a white cool colour and style the building housing some chairs table to the far right was a trading machine and a pc.

A familiar face stood there, Kevin and that hex girl already trading together. A big wide grin on the guy face as they did it the cute yet nervous girl nodding along the too seemed to be getting along.

Coming to the desk where a pink-haired woman stood in a nurse outfit...Nurse joy, possibly the biggest mysteries in this world...why so many nurse Joys? And officer Jenny? Meh, it didn't matter.

Ivy didn't want to go in her ball something Nurse joy found funny but luckily she could still be healed outside, not even waiting a minute leaving both to look around at the trainer people and there pokemon.

Alex's eyes draping over a Lucario and a Blaziken both next to there trainer both seemed like rivals, Roxy whispered to scan them he did, out of his own curiosity too.

"Lucario, the Aura pokemon. It controls waves known as auras, which are powerful enough to pulverize huge rocks. It uses these waves to take down their prey. It can tell what people are thinking. Only Trainers who have justice in their hearts can earn this Pokémon's trust."

That certainly intrigued latex making him wonder if they could they always did say never truly trust the dex but justice in their heart? He wondered if he had that or was a just person.

"Blaziken, The Blaze Pokemon. In battle, Blaziken blows out intense flames from its wrists and attacks foes courageously. The stronger the foe, the more intensely this Pokémon's wrists burn. Blaziken has incredibly strong legs--it can easily clear a 30-story building in one leap. This Pokémon's blazing punches leave its foes scorched and blackened."

That would be a cool pokemon to have a fire type too which he loved it was one of his favourite types and its body, seeing it certainly made him squirm with Roxy grinning and knowing him noticing his staring.

He couldn't help it the colour the build he wanted nothing more then to have them pin him to the ground, there beaitful powerful body clawing over him having there way...Filling his pervert mind with beaitful bliss curiousto how it would feel, fucking a fighting and fire type...He shook his head wanting to get it out the gutter again.

Soon Ivy returned all healed up with that done they quickly left the snake like pokemon stretching feeling better, her full self again, now sitting on his shoulder course of what they were doing next.

Roxy in a similar mood hugging his arm bugging him he said nothing since leaving the Poke center, bothalmost begging to know.

"Come on Alex! Where are we going now! You've teased me non stop about it!"

The young man finally caved in he knew her answer would be answered in the new few minutes using the Townmap v2.0 to find it.

"Fine, fine I'll tell you, even tho we're coming to it right now," he said...Funny enough it was in site straight ahead, "Roxy, Ivy let me introduce you to something unique, something that's only in the Rando region," he sounded excited showing them the very building.

"May I both introduce you to the Rando Region's Rescue Ranger's Guild!" Alex said excitably.

Standing there near the edge of the city on one of the main side streets was a large building the size of a poke centre, the top half had this cameo design to it, like a Safari Zone building. Both eyes widening at such a thing shadowed in its glory. Ahead people and pokemon were going in and out like the pokemon centre meaning it was open.

"Seeing as the Rando Region is so big, the council that runs it decide to make these special guilds for pokemon trainers to join, accepting quest for Pokedollarsor items, it a way to stop poachers and reduce crime as well as helping people, me and my...Friends once met a guild member who needed to see the professor, he told us about the guild and how great it was, the places he went too the people he helps, the pokemon he met, it was crazy in our minds quickly we knew we had to join this to help with money and our old dream."

But soon that excited look faded.

"They've probably already joined, but I still need to...It would be foolish for a pokemon trainer not to join one of these, it free and with all the advances it's perfect, this is how we will get our money and with higher ranks we could do more better paying jobs, the most of the famous trainers in this region are the top dogs in the guild, who know what job we might get and rare pokemon we might find...it really perfect."

It would have been more perfect if he did it with his friends, Still, he smiled softly noticing theirconcerned look he been moping enough, at least for today he wanted to be optimistic.

"Let's get inside and sign up...well I'll sign up you can...err do what you want."

Roxy shrug, "I'll just follow you...This is all so new and exciting! The Unova region doesn't have this."

Alex nodded curiosabout that region but he pushing the thought aside stepping inside the automatic doors slide open revealing the massive interior, in the middle was a dark camo carpet leading straight ahead to a desk with multiple people standing behind it.

This place almost had this fantasy feel to it, most made of harden wood a warm feeling rising inside him to the left was chair and table with people land pokemon sitting relaxing and to the right was what looked like a small shopping area selling exclusive items you can only get at the guild.

Next to that was a massive set of billboard and computers. People were mostly huddled around that taking quests, talking with friends, from what he remembers from that guild guy people can join a quest and work together.

The atmosphere certainly felt different with all the tough stronger looking and levelled pokemon beingquite the intimidating site, these were trainers you didn't want to mess with. The place even had a bar by that sitting area...Finally, to be here it makinghim feel like a true adult, silly but he didn't care.

"It's so big! With so many pokemon! I almost wanna steal you dex and scan them all."

Ivy was amazed herself but hearing that she really to vine whip Roxy'shand away if she did, Alex chuckled sharing an excited curiosity. The pain of not seeing this with his friend faded...He was seeing this with his newfriends.

"I know...Come on let find someone."

With Alex wandering off Roxy quickly charged ahead following close behind.

The first desk there didn't seem to be any different, however, both girl standing there hair tied up in a ponytail. Both had green eyes and green hair, wearing this stylish camo gear that looked like it's uniform, also the girls looking like twins...Oh.

Not knowing which desk to go too he might as well go to the empty one, the young pretty green-eyed girl noticing him giving a soft friendly smile.

"Hi, welcome to the Pokemon Rescue Ranger's Guild, I'm Guild Girl Gina, is there a quest you wish to accept? Or a quest you have completed?"

A little stunned by the beautiful girl's voice he quickly shook out of it.

"Err no...I'd like to join...and I didn't really know who to talk too."

Her green eye little up a little excited.

"Oh, you want to join? Well, you've come to the right place newbie, it always exciting to have a new member join," she said moving toa side wood panel leaving the desk area, "if you give me a moment I will get the paperwork, do you have a Pokedex with you?"

"Yep," he said showing it.

"Great, once I get the paperwork we will be done licketysplit."

Alex thanked her watching her run off,leaving just him and Roxy with the few other near them, he quickly turned to Roxy.

"Heythosetwo girls look the same," he commented

"Yeah, like twins...Is this another one of those, nurse joy and office jenny stuff again?"

The man shrugged already a confusing subject to begin with, the twin soon returned with some paperwork.

"Alright let get started."

The process was...Surprising easy.

Simply Name, the home region and town, his Pokedex code which was easy simply giving the Pokedex to her she put him in a computer, now he had his own special pokemon ID for the guild, to simply find it just pressing the ID button like before and now he could select which ID he wished to see pretty handy.

"Great, now all you need to do is an entry mission then that ID will become official."

"Entry mission?"

"Yes it's required, if we areputting our time and effort into our members so we wish to ensure that time and effort is not wasted, but don't worry if you fail you can try again in a week."

"A-A week! Alright."

That smiled which had turned a little creepy never faded even at his fearful response.

"Perfect when you beat it I'll give more explanation on how the guildwork," she said waiting for his response, he nodded, "ok then I'll get you a quest, and I have the perfect one for you."

And like that she left again all three looked to each other nervously Alex getting paranoid like clockwork both noticed ready with the supportive words if he cracked, the desk girl returned with a thick piece of paper.

"Here you go! Have a read," she smiled widely a little bouncy waiting.

All three look down at it.

A request for help at South Randoport sewer plant, they need a trainer to help them, the reward was pretty good...But what it was it didn't say the unknown cause their interest.

"You like it?"

"Yeah," Alex look back to his friend who nodded, "we'll take it."

"So we have to go to the actual port?" Roxy said walking alongside Alex, Ivy still on his shoulder and In Alex's hand, the very quest at hand.

"Yeah we're literally going into some sewer plant...not the noblest first mission but at least it in the city," He spoke trying to stay optimistic, "we're supposed to meet a worker down there who will take us to the plant itself and the boss would debrief us."

The black and red hair girl nodded now getting it heading far south to the part it was interesting to see the bustling life of the city centre change into a place full of industry and construction. It was understandable to see why with ports being the pure lifeblood of the Rando region it was always busy.

Even if it was self-sustaining the place was so big it would sometime need extra help to get to every town andcity in the region. Exported item was the most popular it main currently being the people that travel here...Trainers most of the time.

A place to live out there dreams, to truly catch them all, so many in one place with new pokemon emerging or migrating, being discovered every few years, the place was big enough to house them all and for some reason, this region draws them in like a magnet, why? Well, that's what the professor is trying to figure out.

"You smell that?" Roxy suddenly said a renewed interested as she hurried forward, "the ocean!"

Ivy and Alex looked past her...They had finally arrived.

South Rando city port a very busy place transporting people and tuff with a few cruise ships docked, people and pokemon floating out all eager for a new adventure, Alex noticing many of them were pokemon trainers.

It was like a feeling, being one himself they just stuck out to him.

"There so many boats!"

"Yeah...But you've been here before right? This all should be familiar."

Roxy turned back with a shrug, "it was night when I arrived here so there wasn't that much activity."

Having no idea they did night cruise...Or transports...Or anything he didn't question it, too confusing for the man who needed to find a guy called Mr Plugger, what a name.

Roxy laughed for about 5 minutes straight at his name...And Alex wasn't denying it, he chuckles a little himself, even Ivy a little.

"So where's this plugging guy," she chuckled at her own joke.

For a moment he glanced around the familiar concrete and tall building trying to find the path to the sewage plant and there wasn't really a map, the Townmap v2.0 didn't show smaller area like these.

"I have no idea, maybe we could ask someone or-"

"Hey! What are you kids doing?"

All jumped at the voice quickly finding the source, a middle-aged man dressed in overalls with a hard hat on, a massive frown covered the man face. Alex reacted quickly.

"W-We here from the guild," he quickly got out the paperwork, "here."

His eyes sharpened taking the paperwork from him those same sharp eye looked it over before turning back to them.

"Oh finally someone came, you looking for Mr Plugger right?"

They quickly nodded.

"Great if you follow me I'll gladly take you to him."

Well that solved their problem, following man who hadn't give them his name cutting into the maze like back alley heading away from the main street. The busy life quickly faded becoming darker almost colder.

They noticed a few dark type pokemon lurking around the corners Ivy was ready, maybe even wantingto fight them. Roxy stayed close a little creeped out but in about ten minutes they entered a clearing in a short distance they saw it.

The sewerage plant, it wasn't the prettiest site set by the coast next to the large forest they spend days travelling thought away from everything. So this was were all the trash and waste of the city end up here...Must be a stinker huh, Roxy was already reacting her nose acting up to the smell like Ivy.

"Yep not the nicest smelling place but you'll get used to it," the guy said but the look on his face...Wasn't very believable.

Heading over it didn't take long before they were inside, heading deeper inside the complex soon finding abig guy by some tunnels talking with some other workers.

"Hey boss! Found some kids here to help."

The dark-haired man with a hard hat, a green uniform on the man he looked different to everyone else, not what they expected as a sewer plant manager, tall macular intimidating sending shiver down theirspine.

"There from the guild newbies or something."

The man huffed nodding, "Is that so," his gaze returned to the adult almost shivering, "you're here to help us out?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Great!" the guy started laughing loudly that intimating aura vanishing, "this has been a pain in my ass for the last few hours so let get started, quickly...Gill grab the pokeball case and you two," he turned to Alex and Roxy, "come with me I'll give you the details on the way."

One named Gil nodded and ran off there original guide had left, going off to do...Something they didn't know. The crew was left following this giant of a man heading deeper into the facility.

"So first things first names Larry Plugger...And you are?"

"Alex," he quickly responds looking around not every day you enter a sewer plant, "and this is Ivy my pokemon."

"Ivy," she responded a mix of greeting and holding her nose to the smell.

"And I'm Roxy...Just assisting...Arceus why does it have to smell so bad!"

Larry only laughed breathing it in, "smell like paradise to me...Have a weird disorder where bad smelling things actually smell nice, I can't remember its name but newbies always comment on the smell, it should get better once youactually enter the underground."

"Underground? What exactly are we doing here sir?"

"Well for that matter your job is to be catching some pokemon."

"Catching pokemon?"

He nodded, "yes...You see I don't know howmuch you know about sewerage plants but most in the world are beginning to use pokemon to aid us...And what pokemon do you think is the best when dealing with shit, trash and all that other gross stuff?"

Both just shrugged even Ivy, sparking a grin out the older guy.

"Grimmers and Muks...There perfect for dealing with waste able to safely collect the toxic stuff, without them things would be a lot difficult."

"Do these pokemon have a choice?" Roxy suddenly jumped in.

"What?" he said clearly confused, guessed he never thought about it, "Well sure I guess, we make suretheir the happiest they can be always putting the care of the pokemon first...We're coming to the coast now."

That satisfied Roxy's answer heading out thorugha large door the salty-sweet air hit their senses, Alex hadn't realised they were so close by the coastline on some back open area pokemon and human working together. Larry wandered over to the railing looking out to the endless sea.

"Beautiful site, breath it in kids it's probably the only nice smelling thing you'll be smelling for a while."

The group quickly followed overlooking the view, it reminded Alex of home, the cliff by the professor's lab it was nice. Roxy breath in that ocean air enjoying it far more than the grimy factory as did Ivy.

Taking a moment to simply enjoy the chilly air the only nice thing in this place really.

"Well come on newbies, let get ya working."

"Working on what? What are we even doing here?" Roxy questioned a tiny bit irritated, still not even knowing what they were doing here, "You said something about Grimers and a Muk but whys that linked to us?"

"Snivy!" Alex's pokemon call out the same.

"Cool your aqua jets I'll tell ya on the way," he said...Again.

This guy was pretty lazy, Roxy thought to herself while Alex was quiet, patient as always, Ivy didn't know how he could be so patience. Soon they started moving toward a large sewer entrance where a few men were standing by a few pokemon with them looking like ground and rock types.

"The processing cell that houses the Muk and Grimmers needed a bit of a tune up just to make sure everything is in tip top shape, we do it every few months, not wanting our poison type pokemon to be unhappy...But some lazy bastard left the doors and vents unlocked...You see kid, theMuk and those Grimers are made of slime and such so...You can get the idea," he paused turning just to make sure they're listening, "now they infesting the sewer system, we've alright close off all exits, Arceus I don't even want to think about it if they did escape and ended up in the city...But that's why we contacted the guild for this city-wide emergence...to er," he didn't hesitate more...Thought about his next words, "newbies to handle this...Do either of you have a rock, ground, ghost, steel or another poison type?"

They both turned confused to each before back to the guy.

"No...All we got is ivy, who can handle anything," Alex said proudly.

Pride rising inside the grass type crossing her arms nodding.

The guy just grinned, hiding his concern even if he liked the kid's ambition.

The fact was, they didn't know just how important this job was.

"Even against fire type?"

"Oh fire types are easy," Roxy joined in, "her first ever pokemon battle was against a fire type bully pokemon...And she beat it!"

Larry seemed impressed, a hand to his chin scratching it maybe this wouldn't be so bad.

"Right...Ok then great, but now you know our probably we can tell you what we need you to do...Just as soon as that lazy Gil to get here."

Lazy was certainly the name for this guy the group having to wait a while for the guy leading to them talking learning more about each other.

Alex told his story just a guy starting his pokemon adventure...That's it, never telling the guy about his friend's betrayal. Roxy didn't say much either she simply a wild girl from Unova region travelling here to go site seeing go on an adventure of her own.

The two met and just clicked now they're travelling together.

Larry was a pretty cool guy, with a son back home with the same smelling disorder as his dad, his wife hada sensitive nose and wouldn't be seen near this place it was quite funny how they met. A sparking shiny jewel of her was stolen by a meowth and the pokemon dumped it in the sewer as a spiteful joke, which lead it ended up here and Larry personally found the thing for her and after that, they hit it off.

It was quite interesting...But anyway soon the man himself Gil came getting scolded by Larry before running off again, back inside.

"Right so in this case are special company Pokeball, we simply need you to go into the underground sewer system and capture as many grimmer as possible including that Muk who leads them."

"Great we won't let you down," Alex said proudly taking the case opening it up seeing quite a few balls inside.

"If it's as easy as that why don't you guys do it?"

"Well to answer that...Do we look like pokemon trainers!?" He said almost panicking a few of the other men glancing away embarrassed themselves, "we just know how to run this place not fight or even capture pokemon, it better to leave it to the professions who have more experience than us...You kids have any antidotes?"

"I think so," Alex question pondering to himself if he remembered to buy them from Angus.

"Well, whatever coz I like you both," he fished into his back pocket pulling out a small item, with yellow liquid inside, "an antidote just in case your Pokemon gets poisoned...Seeing as your going to be facing some poison types."

That was bad knowing grass was weak against poison...And Bug...and Fire, and Flying, Steel, Dragon...What the hell! Why did grass type have so many weaknesses!? Maybe he should have actually thought about this job then just blindly accepting it...Well, it was just given to him and they were quite vague about it.

Ivy noticed her master's concern quickly patting his head.

"We'll be fine," Roxy said, "if it's about pokemon you've got the best on the case."

She glanced to him knowing her weird yet incrediblequirk of hers. she hadn't told Larry about it so maybe this won't be so bad, seeing a plan forming in her mind.

Quickly dotting in the number Roxy taking the metal boxed filled with special company pokeballs...Now Alex was quite glad to have the girl here.

With a quick thanks staring at the man sized hole leading to the underground all three looked to each other, a similar look on there faces...This wasn't going to smell nice.

"Sweet Arceus it stinks!"

Roxy cried out slumped shoulders trying to cover her sensitive noise against the horrid smell, Ivy too.

"Y-Yeah...But look on the bright side, we're somewhere new."

He smiled bitterly trying to stay optimistic.

The underground sewers with a central stream of grimy water flowing toward something which had now stopped, yellow railing stopping anyone from accidentally falling in. The concreted flooring the grimy brick walls and flicking old lights that was surprisingly lit turning to his friends seeing their faces changed to disgust.

"Sewers...How exciting."

"Alright sure it not the best but everyone has to start somewhere, for us it here...Let get those Pokemon," he said wondering if Nathan and heather had actually join what was theirentry quest? He can ask Gina later.

"Quick might I ask."

"Snivy!" Ivy joined in.

He could agree with that so they started walking deeper over a steel bridge crossing the paths heading deeper in.

"So what's the game plan? We find it and battle it or-"

"Battle!? I would like to avoid it if possible...I could talk to them...and I wanna make sure there happy, being copping in and used," she stopped placing a hand on her chest, "as a...Pokemon lover I wish to ensure the treatment of these creatures is well met...I may like Larry but I'll always trust the word of a pokemon over a human."

Almost a little shaken at the strange way of saying it but he just nodded bitter now, "even me?"

"Well," she paused, "your a good friend of mine so...Well I'll trust you over most people and some pokemon...never trust a Purrloin," she quickly turned to him.

"R-Right."

They continued into the dark tunnels to think people spend all there time down here making the man shiver. Needing a distraction from the stench his thought turned to Roxy seeing her walk a permanent look of disgust on her sweet face in her hand holding the large case filled with special company pokeballs. She must have been through a lot to only trust pokemon.

To have such an ability to speak to them the stories they could tell...Maybe later on, he could he learn how she can talk to them, must be more than just living in the wild.

Speaking on that how does one live In the wild and-

Something shifted in the water, Ivy could sense it a tingle going down her spine toward the dirty water still as can be.

"Ivy!"

She pattered Alex's head who turned to her confused Roxy stopped herself hearing it.

"Alex wait...One is nearby."

She changed almost suddenly a serious almost predatory look on her face staring at the water's edge hand on the railing Alex soon joined her. Gazing into the murky water watching for something anything to move.

Yet there was nothing.

"Alex," Roxy piped up, "could you use your Pokedex thingy to maybe scan the water?"

"Great idea!" quickly he pulled that famous device scanning the water.

Nothing happened yet he pressed on for a few minutes more hoping and-

"Grimer, the sludge pokemon, Made of congealed sludge. It smells too putrid to touch. Even weeds won't grow in its path."

Everyone was silent slowly looking to each other before anyone could say a thing something burst from the water, something big and purple.

"Watch out!" Alex shouted but Roxy was already moving,

A hand on his chest pushing him back to safety as the blob jumped to the hard stone floor. It looked like pure toxic sludge smellingterrible, evens still that feral look in Roxy's eye standing between him and the sludge.

Ivy looked ready to fight.

The group stared silently seeing the disgusting mass twitching, forming itself into...Something.

"Grimer!" a happy excited voice came from the thing, stretching out with a big goofy smile, those large white eyes with a single tiny iris staring at him, "grimer?" it tilted it...Blobby head confused.

"That what we're looking for! Pass the box so we can capture it!"

She hesitated for a moment looking down at the case the poison type flinch hearing capture getting pissed of.

"Shit! We'll have to battle it, ready Ivy?" He turned to her, she looked ready nodding.

"Wait!" Roxy again dropping the case getting between him and the Grimer almost protect it from him, "just let me talk to it you know how I hate unnecessary violence."

Alex left to stand there looking between her and the grimmer watching warily then to Ivy...Who just shrugged. Seeing into that pleading gaze he sighed, caving in.

"Alright...Do your thing."

She smiled, "thank you."

The young man just nodded backing off Roxy turn back to the defensive pokemon crowing down.

"Hey, there buddy sorry for that...Mind if we talk?"

"Grimer?"

"Yes, I can understand you."

"Grimer grim?"

"Yeah, yeah no need to get into details, so what are you doing all the way out here bud? Isn't there nice cosy home you and your buddies live in?"

The creature paused thinking before continuing Alex was just left there minding his own business with Ivy it still mystified how she can so easily talk to pokemon, how the hell can you get a skill like that form.

But the young man couldn't help be a little annoyed.

This was the second time in the last few days she stopped him, first with that fire pokemon...Thinking back he now really, really wanted that pokemon fire-type was always good to have and...She was cute...And now this.

He grew conflicted knowing she was thinking about the pokemon having her own morals which she hadever right to have but...At the cost of him.

What was he to her?

That comment a few minutes ago about trust, did she actually trust him? The friend thing just to calm him? The fact is he only knew her for a few days and now suddenly they're travelling together? Being backstabbed by those he trusts his whole life left him defensive.

Yet so desperate for some sympathy attention he let her foolishly join...she could have been anyone! A thief, killer! It was stupid of him to trust a stranger so quickly.

Now it feels like she's controlling him, do this don't do that close to pushing him around was she going to be like this for their whole adventure? He needed pokemon and to train Ivy and others how was she going to handle that? Even worst she knew his secret she could easily blackmail him, she already got money out of him on that silly promise to repay him he doubts she could.

He was a pokemon trainer, not some pushover. His friend betrayal finally made him see how cruel this world can be and how cruel people can be...Roxy was this free-spirited girl he barely knew who probably doesn't even think of the consequences to whatever she does.

Yet...She helped him accept his darkest desires, his attract to pokemon, she's fun and easy to get along with, protective even...Fuck he's overthinking this.

Ivy noticed seeing her master's face she gentle patting it checking on him, he just smiled silently telling her he was fine.

"Alright I've got some very interesting news."

Roxy's voice alerting both to her with a satisfied grin on her face the grimer...Stood? Sat? Next to her.

"So what the Grimer say?"

"Richardo."

"What?"

"His name is Ricardo."

"Grimer" he smiled waving.

"Right...So what did Ricardo say?"

"He says he'll help us find his friend," she said which surprised the hell out of him, "it turns out that the pokemon escaping wasn't there plan it was by there leader a Muk who apparently an entitled asshole's planned and perusing the other to escape, they actually love it here, all the free trash and rubbish they could ever want to satisfy their endless hunger, it surprised even me at how happy they were."

"Huh, so it the Muk fault?"

"That's the thing it wasn't!" Roxy surprised herself she eagerly continued, "it was apparently a guy and a girl dressed in pink and white with weird hats on who sneakedinside and opened the area, said they were freeing them believing they were cruelly being locked up."

Pink and white? He...He recognised something like that placing a hand on his chin thinking about it warily.

"So it wasn't some lazy employee's fault...Tho it does sound familiar?"

"It does?"

He nodded, "yeah but I don't want to jump to any conclusions...Right now we need to get all the Grimers and stop that Muk."

"Right, stop that big bully."

"Grimer!" the poke shouted in agreement.

With there strange new alley in tow from then their adventure began.

Travelling through the dank wet dark cavern-like tunnel looking for all the Grimers. Alex collected the box funny enough not needing it being It was fun honestly Ricardo being surprisingly interesting and a massive help he simply needed to call there namesand they would show up randomly, form a vent the water even thefloor.

All forming some mini revolution to lazy around all day eating trash and sewage...Seemed like something worth fighting for.

Roxy was all for it, anything to make this job go by fast.

Leaving Alex with a lot of time to think for himself thinking to Roxy and the mystery of just who she was, while ivy just relaxed, taking a nap on or in his backpack which was the perfect size for her...among the crazy amount of stuff inside it, it smell nicer in there too.

It took them a good hour to find all of them...But a few.

"Is this where the Muk is?"

Alex asked...Roxy who turned to Ricardo who nodded.

"Yep right In here...I wonder why?"

"Well, he could be trying to escape."

"Escape? What makes you say that?" Roxy questioned him.

"Oh I don't know," he grinned a little which he wasquite rare pointing to something on the wall, "It could be the sign to the say saying main exit one."

Frowning rolling her eyes.

"Your getting your sass from Ivy," she said the pokemon popping her head out grinning, "but let continue and beat that pokemon then we can leave this place."

Alex nodded, "is the...Err revolution ready?"

She only smiled turning back seeing a whole army of Grimers. The ground wall they were everywhere ready for action all for a similar thing...To eat trash and lazy around all day.

"Ready Ricardo?"

Their slimy buddy who's they've gotten quite used nodded.

"Grimer!" He raised an arm thumb up, "grimer grime grimer!"

"Grimmer!" The whole crowd shouted theirvoices echoing through the tunnels

"Alrightthen from what our buddy says he has a tiny army of his own pressuring the other Grimers to aid him so he not alone."

"We can take him!" Alex shouted with new passion, "We''ll stop that bully get all the grimmer home and finish our first job!"

"Right!"

"Snivy!" Ivy joined in from her power nap.

"Grimer!" they joined in getting excited from their excitement.

With nothing else said Alex grabbed the handle charging in, Roxy and the grimmer was close behind the crew entering the large room. Unlike the sewer tunnel, this was cleaner with multicolour pipes littering the place, the middle had metal walkway under the still river of sewerage leading deeper in.

At the far end, a small crowd smashing backing again larger metal doors the sound echoing, they all noticed one, he was doing nothing but shouting its name.

"Muk! Muk Muk Muk!" he commanded like a lord commanding his minions.

"There!" Roxy shouted frowning at how it was treating the others, "let get him."

Alex nodded as did the Grimer moving, the rumbling got the mighty blob's attention turning with a massive frown.

"Muuuuuk!"

"Grimer!" Richardo...Alex thinks charged forward in frontof the crowd, "Grimer grimer grim grimer!"

Muk just look on pissed, "muk muk muk!" he slapped a mighty hand on his chest...Or body...Or something, "muk muk muuk!"

The two argued, Roxy and Ivy watched listening interested as Alex stood there...Having no idea what was even going on.

"Hey Roxy, what happening?" he leaned in.

"Ricardo is tryingto convince Muk to come back and stop this crusade of his," she leaned in, whispering back

"Interesting...I wonder what the Pokedex says."

She shrugged, "try it."

Slowly getting the thing out gentle lifting it pointing it at the pokemon.

"Muk, The Sludge pokemon. Smells so awful, it can cause fainting. Through degeneration of its nose, it lost its sense of smell. Thickly covered with a filthy, vile sludge. It is so toxic, even its footprints contain poison."

"Damn...No wonder I feel dizzy," hemumbled looking a bit sickly putting down the metal case in his left hand.

"Alex," Roxy by his side aiding him a little, "if it too much back off at least, we don't want you actually fainting on us."

Alex shook it away noticing the worried look in her eyes feeling real...Thinking of earlier came blazing to life...Did she really care? Or just an act to use him. Not the time to think about that, the Muk noticed the cased and them, pointing.

"Muk Muk!"

"Grimer grimer!" Richardo shouted turning back to the humans, "grimer!"

"What he saying now?"

"Muk is pissed he lead us here, but Richardo is saying we're friends who want to help."

Muk just lost it, with his own Grimer army forming behind him looking on frowning along with him shouting something else. Alex just looked to Roxy for questions all while Ivy glared ready for a fight...She always looks ready for one.

"He saying Ricardo is lying and we're just using them."

"But we're not...We really are trying to help."

"Exactly," she mumbled getting angry herself.

The Muk pointed at her saying something else.

"Why is he pointing at you? Roxy?"

She panicked, eyes darting back and often silently for a moment.

"Nothing, nothing...But Muk is not backing down."

The pokemon itself went into a frenzy smashing the ground itself turning and calling back to his personal army, this didn't look good.

"I guess diplomacy didn't help...We're going to have to fight."

Roxy did notliking it one bit but froma nervous look onRicardo she knew Alex was right she sighed painfully.

"Fine then...Let fight!"

"Grimer!" the crowd roar ready.

The Muk roared himself glaring at Ricardo who was readying himself.

The battle begun Alex and Roxy backing off knowing how dangerous poison type was. Ivy tried providing range support shooting razor leaves which unfortunately didn't do much seeing as grass was weak to poison.

"Watch out!" Roxy shouted seeing a ball of sludge coming right for them thrown by the Muk.

Barely dodging the attack forced to watch on most of the foe grimmer didn't put up a fight it was just the Muk giving commands while thrown shit and poison which was almost useless.

Ricardo made a breakthrough able to convince the beaten-down Grimers to join his team he seems to have a way with word inspiring the others seeing as he was fighting and the Muk wasn't.

Lucky the battle was drawingto an end, with Muk own injures, his army gone and Ricardo against him.

A single smug grin on his face holding back the other...he wanted to fight him alone.

"Don't do it! He's too strong!"

Roxie's cries fell on deaf ears, Determined ready knowing the grimers needed a new leader and it was going to be him.

The battle was ferocious Muk being bigger but slower was the only slight advantage he has...Nothing much for an already slow creature, not being much of a battle.

A heavy pound threw Ricardo against the edge of the area coughing a little looking up to the crowdall worried all crying out for him to go on keep going. Roxy cheering alongside them, even Ivy Alex he...Well never expected any of this to happen but still dragged into the hype cheering him on too.

So many...Call out to him...So many trusting relying on him he...He couldn't fail now.

With a burning determination inside slowly forwarding himself, beaten back and blue. For a long time, this Muk messing with his friend his family seeing the smug look on him just pissed him off.

He refused to give in...Refused to let him push them around...if only he could be stronger...Just a little bit...More.

Rising with a dangerous look in his eyes screamed his name for all to here.

"Grimmer!"

Suddenly he started glowing white.

"Holy shit he evolving!" Alex shouted, remembering when Hopps evolved from a Buneary to a Lopunny.

The crowd watch silently watching his form changed growing bigger and bigger the same sized as the Muk when the white late faded something new was formed...made.

Ricardo opened his eye and roared with power.

"Muuuuuk!"

"O-Oh my," Roxy said herself surprised.

The crowd watch on seeing their friend new-formed roaring with him.

The Muk wasn't intimidated charging, screaming both powerful poison types clashed this already intense fight rising into this place. The battle dragged on The Muk who has been lazy at this point countless handle his moves.

A heavy hit to the...Face? Was all Ricardo needed sending the pokemon crashing into the very wall he was trying to escape through groan...Before falling.

Silence...Cover the area like a blanket...Before cries of joy echoed out Ricardo grinned rising his arm turning to his friends a battle cry roaring out in victory. The pokemon unable to contain themselves lungingand lifting their new leader all while the last groin glaring with hatred.

"He did it! And evolved! That so cool!" Roxy shouted hugging Alex sudden making him drop the case opening up the balls inside rolling out.

"Yeah! With this the grimers and...Well now Muk can go back home our first job complete!"

"See what would you do with me," Roxy chuckled letting go walking away toward Ricardo swaying her hips.

He blushed for a moment noticing the scatted balls and case...Might as well sort them out.

"Well done Ivy...I know your razor leaf didn't do much but still well done."

Slightly disappoint yet she nodded happily helping him along too using her vine to pick it up.

"To think, we were going to simply capture them but with Roxy's aid, something different happened...Things might have gotten a lot harder huh."

She nodded both looking over at the girl talking with Ricardo in his new evolved form.

Alex didn't really know what to think only knowing he was tried hungry his legs aching from-

"MUK!"

The roar of vengeful rage the Muk from before seeing the beast charging for something anything setting it's sites on her...No one had time react time seem to slow seeing the thing about to crush poor Roxy.

"Roxy!" He panics noticing the company ball in his hand.

Gripping tightly the young man just...Reacted throwing it at the pokemon in some small desperate attempt to save her.

Roxy staring up at the massive monster towering over the woman about to crush her...She hadto move, fast, escape! She could be...Alex was here she couldn't...She just couldn't...Would it be worth-

Suddenly a ball hit him...Just in time.

The giant blob instantly was covered in a red glow the ball itself opening up, the roars of the pokemon final words before being seal away gentle falling to the ground.

Silence returned, Roxie's legs giving out falling to the ground herself gasping slowly turn back to Alex the same panicked look on his face.

"Roxy!" he ran over, "are you ok!?"

Unable to look away twitching she sniffed loudly...And cried.

"No!" She screams charging at Alex holding him tightly toppling him, "I almost died!" she sobbed.

He sighed, one filled with relief holding his...Friend? Still relief.

"Muk!" Ricardo came over worried himself...lunged and hugging them.

Alex panicked, "wait! Poison type! Skin!"

"I-It ok," Roxy said quickly, "a poison type can control there own poisonous body so you won't get sick, it like a rapidash or ponyta's fire."

"Oh...Interesting,"

"Muk muk muuukkk."

Ricardo the now lovable giant held them with glee.

"Grimer!"

The crowd shouted joining in making a massive gooey hug Alex cringing a little feeling it as Ivy moved on top his head no very interested in getting goodies herself.

Roxy just laughed relieved by the event she looked to Alex with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"So...What now buddy."

"Wow that was something Buddy," Roxy commented a grin on her face as they walked away from the sewage plant, "and smell that fresh air! Perfect."

Alex and Ivynodded.

"Yeah something alright," Alex thought recalling everything that happened over the last ten minutes.

After the grand battle and hugs, Alex collected the other Muk's ball, Ricardo told them he would lead the crew back to their home all while thanking them...Hugging them too.

Now as the new leader he can protect his family insuring another escape didn't happen and they would be happy. Handy, with the last goodbye from him and the together they finally left the sewers easily finding Larry.

They told him everything, not about Roxy talking to a grimer but they hinted enough to have some form of communication. About the strangely dressed men the reason how they escaped, the other Muk revolting and not even needing the balls, only one being used, but now the pokemon were heading back to the processing cell, which they liked greatly.

Larry couldn't be happier laughing proudly smacking both young adult backs.

Less work for him and nobody gets fired...Anyway they alsospoke about that bully Muk, Larry knew it well only needing one to keep order and peace surprised to hear Ricardo evolving from a battle, now they don't need the bully any more, that relieved Roxy at least but now what would happen to that Muk?

They were going to move it to somewhere better. Take it to a place where it can live free in the wild just as it wanted, again Roxy like it, everyone got a happy ending, even the bully.

Delighted with the results he filled out the guild paperwork.

Officially they've completed their first mission.

Alex the young man almost flipped out with excitement the pride, honour this feeling standing there seeing all those people with warm relived face...Made him feel like a real guild member, making a difference, the beginning of his adventure.

"So with that paper thing we're all done? We can get food!"

Roxy was hungry evident by her stomach and complains, He was too along with Ivy.

"Just head back make it all official, then yeah food."

"Great I'm starving!"

"Snivy!" Ivy joined in.

He just nodded happily himself to leave the sewer seeing the sun already setting that day past by faster then they thought...Was it an hour? Or longer? He didn't know. The travel back was quite yet greater than before who knew travelling back from a mission was better than going...Stupid question but still he didn't care.

"There is one thing I'm wondering about tho," Roxy asked skipping a little, "those people from before, the pink and white...Larry said they were...Team Climax?"

Alex hesitated...Before slowly nodding, knowing them well.

"Who are they?"

The young man sighed hand in his pokets feeling a bit uncomfortable, talking aboutthem, Ivy and Roxy quickly noticing it.

"Alex?"

"Their a criminal organization that has been pestering andcausing trouble acrossthe massive region doing evil things! A team with there own believes and mission in life...Like, err...team rocket I think they were popular a while ago."

"Oh I get it like team plasma," she commented Alex raising an eyebrow, "Oh that'sthe team in Unova, their mission was to bring equity to pokemon and humans, but there method were cruel and harsh forcing it and taking people pokemon...They did a lot of bad things they even had a giant flying ship andfroze a town!"

"Holy shit that sounds evil...I mean team climax has never done anything that evil but...they do kidnap people pokemon."

"How evil? What's their goal? Every team has like a goal or focus...So what's theirs?"

He stopped again...hesitating again for a moment wary, they noticed quickly.

"There's is...Well...To make love between human and pokemon a common and normal thing, to have people accept it."

"Oh...Ok then I guess but why so-"

"They're doing it through sex," he finally said it, the truth, "to make sexual intercourse an accepted thing...That kind of love along with the other, their all a bunch of pervs...Forcing themselves on them."

"Sweet A-Arceus," Roxy said now understanding why he was so hesitation it was serious enough to make even Ivy's eye widen surprised.

"Yeah that's what they do, most of it is hush hush for the kids but we all know the truth, they kidnap people's pokemon to make them into sexual deviants, there are countless cases of kidnapped pokemon many even being mysteriously returned to their owners, trainer ormasters...Ending up forcing themselves on them. They want everyone to be like it trying to forcing their ideas onto other people trying to make more people like them too get more members, it's a cruel cycle...You can see why I'm so hesitant about it...I'm like them In a way...Being a-attracted to pokemon."

Unnerved, wary even scared unable to meet her face Roxy steeped focused offering a supportive hand to his shoulder Ivy join in to help aid her master.

"But you don't force yourself like they do...Or want to right?"

"No! Arceus I would never-"

"So don't compare yourself to them!"

"Snivy sni!"

He wasn't convinced himself...Long ago he was even tempted to join them unable to bear the burden in his head but now...Things were different seeing Roxy's caring eye soothed him a little.

"O-Ok then...Thanks."

She only smiled now hugging his arm, "no problem that what I'm here for...so let get back to that guild thing get set up then dinner!"

"Snivy!" Ivy nodded too.

Alexagreed smiling softly hurrying along...Roxy hugging his arm the whole time, like some affection girlfriend. She's been acting like this since he saved her back underground probably just grateful for him saving her.

He didn't take much mind...That look she was givinghim something lustful maybe even dangerous making him shiver a little. Dusk had descended upon the city the crew finally back at the guild building they quickly entered seeing the same woman from before they quickly headed toward her.

"We're back!" Roxy called to her grinning like a meowth.

"Oh hello, there I remembered you two have you completed that entranced mission?"

"Yeah," Alex pulled out the paper showing her Roxy and ivy watched as she took it, checking it over.

"Thank you now I will be but a moment, we need to check if this report was not tampered with, you have no idea how many time guild member try and fake a result or change it...we have our pokemon way to quick its authority."

And like that she turn and left...Alex didn't really think about itfaking it,changing its odds, seemed scummy to him.

"Cheaters what asshole...how long is this gonna take," she pouted hugging his arm tightly.

"It shouldn't be too long then after we can usethe reward money to go some place fancy."

"Fancy!" her eye sparkled with renewed interest, "Fancy how?"

He shrugged Ivy wobbling a little, "I'll check the town map once were out it's handy like that."

"Great! Makes me wanna go now," she started bouncing her feet tapping like an excitable pouch it was funny.

"Patience my friend it shouldn't be too long."

He was right soon she returns with a radiant smile on her cute face.

"Well done you've officially completed the quest which means your now officially a guild member! May I please have your Pokedex."

He did it...They did it holy shit he was now a true member! A buzzing excitement rose inside him as Ivy and Roxy cheer a little quietly to themselves not wanting to draw attention which was already too late due to Roxy's punk like beauty and...Assets.

Quickly Alex handed her the device with some weird machine nearby she slotted the thing in...Lighting up a little before almost spitting it out quickly she handed it back too him.

"Now your Pokedex ID has been accepted and the reward money has been transferred into your account if you would so kind find the guild app I may explain more."

Interestingly enough in the menu, a new app was added rightly named 'guild' quickly entering it everything change like a whole submenu, at the top it said his name and his rank being 1 star. Along with all-new apps, 'Quest' 'News' 'Hot Tip and Tricks' 'Announcements', 'commissioners', 'Group.'

"Now," she spoke again almost robotically, "I shall explain each one of those features to help you better understand, but I shall leave quests for last."

Alex listened while Roxy and Ivy still had their little celebration, everything was pretty self-explanatory.

The guild sending out region-wide support to the whole region when the police or ranger are limited, helping everyone in need...And taking down there arch-nemesis Team Climax which would often be the focus trying to disband the region sized organization.

Announcements were simple, Sometime awards would be made to those special members for those that go above and beyond along with rare pokemon sightings to help trainers get that certain pokemon they need, being quite handy. It was much like the reason Alex befriended all those trainers back in the park.

Along with updates on certain quests of importance and the take down of Team Climax bases or attacks, warning people, information was quite important if they were going to beat them.

Commissions were something for 3-star ranks when they become more noticeable, people from outside the guild may personally needing a certain someone to help. While the girl has something similar to the male the top tight a whitish-pink her glove hate and boot what the same but she wore white short shorts, the girl had long bright pink hair.

The most notifiable thing about them was the small icon on this right side chest. A large pink heart with a big white C in the middle.

"Now my turn!" The girl showed, "I Freya of Team Climax need you my darling Spear!"

"This is going to be a cakewalk, Messy do what you like, have some fun."

Both pokemon looked on freely...wait...they were going to battle on there own!? Surprised at this seeing Ivy not a lick of fear on her he grinned himself.

"This is nothing compared to what you've done yesterday Ivy," he called to her who turned to look at him, "kick their asses, buddy!"

That smug grin she turned back to her foes punching her hands ready.

Both climax members looked surprised as Alex earlier.

"Wait you let you pokemon fight for herself?"

"Yeah! We're a team I trust her...The same reason why you trust yours."

Ivy had barely any time to dodge noticing it beak was glowing white. Clearly, he was trying to Peck Ivy flying-type move...That would have been bad if it hit.

"Good job bud!" Alex shouted encouraging her.

She nodded seeing Spear rushing past forced to potion himself she responded using razor leaf to hit it out the sky, he saw it barely about to flap away and dodge it.

"Join in the fight, my dear!" Fredrick shouted himself.

"Glameow!" She shouted suddenly glowing loudly at her.

That attack hit doing no damage but...Well, Alex, could onlygrin a little Eevee noticed wonder why.

"How you like less attack huh!"

"Yeah! Spear Leer might be a good idea!" Fraya shouted not commanding more surging.

Spear nodded a look in his eye making Ivy shiver but ignore it...grinning herself.

The plan set both in agreement both pokemon working together so blinded by there plan...They hadn't even noticed she wasn't even trying to dodge it. "Look your pokemon is not even trying!" Frederick laughed

She took it all, the Leer the Growls trying to fight back a little if the occasion came but both pokemon were tough and fast, she needs to keep this act up Alex and her having the very same plan.

"Ivy! Your weak dodge! Move! Anything!" Roxy shouted yet Ivy ignored her, "Alex do something! She's going to get wiped!"

"Eevee!" the little pokemon shouted too.

He only smirks shocking her glancing to her, "trust us...wWe know what we're doing."

Confused by his word watching them continued the smug look on Freya's face faded.

"Wait...Stop...Stop!" she said both pokemon did.

"Freya!? What are you doing?"

"Something not right here...Does she look weak and scared to you?"

Freya face turned cold as the rest didn't know all but him and ivy, "This ability inverts all changes to the stat stages of a Pokemon with this Ability! So say if an attack would lower a stat, it is increased instead and so forth...Get it now?"

Now it's their turn to worry...What had they been doing this whole fucking time, Roxy stared on...she should have trusted them looking to the joy on his face the fire in Ivy's eye of course seeing the fear now on the team's face just made this sweeter.

"So the whole time we tried to weaken her...Has just made her stronger!?"

Freya smirking herself agreeing, "right you can do this Spear! I believe in you!"

The bird was already back up leering pissed himself flying up behind his friend ready.

They wouldn't back down...And Ivy was perfectly fine with that.

The battle continued Eevee once terrified watch on with sparkles in her eyes, two against one! She would have just ran...Like she has been doing this whole time yet Ivy this pokemon stayed to protect her a pokemon she doesn't even know, watching her fight her own battle...It stirred something inside her...Something familiar.

This wasn't easy, Ivy powered up to the extreme was still under levelled with there teamwork they were able to avoid most of her attacks while they stabbed in a few attack it was troublesome.

But still due to Ivy buff and the mastery of her vines she was able to fight back getting a few goodhits in. Messy only attacks when there's an opening while Spear was more daring aggressive, reckless attack whenever he wants.

She could use this...Just right now she was in trouble, for fatigue was weighing down the pokemon, and both foescould see it not tried themselves, clearly they have been in way more battles than her.

"You've got her on the rope guys! Finish this up!"

Messy and Spear nodded Ivy looked on wary breathing heavily, Alex and Roxy watched on worried with Eevee seeing it clear as day...That pokemon needed help.

Spear charged again his beak glowing ominously, Ivy waited wanting to finish this trying something risky letting the attack and he saw it blind charging as far as he could suddenly Ivy vine shot out to grab his wings stopping him in his track.

Perfect defenceless she expectedhim to panic but he just smirked at her.

Confused suddenly a figure came from the side...Messy herself, they saw through her plan! Now defenceless herself she watched to take the heavy attack, Team climax watched on cheering for there pokemon While Alex and Roxy watch horrified.

"Ivy!" Alex shouted scared.

There was nothing she could do! Too close focused on Spear, all seemed hopeless messy with that familiar dangerous glare one Ivy once wore knowing this was going to hurt.

"Eevee!"

Screamed an unexpected figure before anyone could react Messy got tackled...Hard! Right In her side sending her flying back. In the confused Spear got out her grip flying back to his Allie and the one that hit her.

The Eevee from before! She looked scared but determined standing by Ivy side a fire look in her eye.

"Eevee eve!"

Ivy's own eyes widens a little nodded a thankful smile on her face.

"Snivy," she got up readying again.

Roxy cried out in joy, "you go, girl!"

It was Alex turn to look confused staring at her for an answer.

"She's here to help! Ivy's got back up!"

Relived at that info now it was the villain who looks on warily.

"You can do it bud! Finish this!"

"Snivy!" she nodded in responded glancing over to the nervous pokemon but determined pokemon, "sni," she goes Eevee action, "sni, sni vy."

The pokemon nodded backing up a little Alex look on Roxy noticing that look filled him in whispering.

"Ivy going to be the main fighter, Eevee is going to be her support."

"Epic thanks, let's get this over with."

"Aww, the little pokemon decided to fight back! No matter Finish this guys!"

Messy and Spear nodded again charging, Ivy and the Eevee charged alongside.

The battled raged on all of Ivy's weakness was being covered thank to the Eevee letting her deal with which ever pokemon she wants if one came to close Eeevee who would move to a save her and attack they had only met but they worked pretty well.

His Ivy was a surprising good leader...Wasn't there anything she couldn't do!?

Still, the battle looks like it was coming to its end as Ivy was able to get in more hard attack.

Messy had targeted the Eevee surging for her Ivy in response defending her ally by griping the pokemon's coiled tail hearing it scream, she sensed the Spearow reacting to his friends pain wildly attacking.

She quickly put two and two together...An idea forming.

Using all her remaining strength Ivy literally swung Messy like a battling ball sending her smashing right into Spear, the timing was perfect both closing and going flying rolling on the ground dizzy and badly injured.

"What the fuck!" Fredrick shouted.

"Yeah, that bullshit! Messy, Spear you both ok?"

Nothing, both trying to get up and fight...Before falling with whirls in their eyes.

They did it...Ivy and the Eevee looking to each other...They beat them.

"Yes! Take that your dirty kidnappers!" Roxy shouted all while they look horrified.

"No!" they ran over, franticlypicking up the fainted Messy, "you bastard!"

Freya picked up Spear hatred burning in her eye, "assholes! You may have beaten us but the love we have won't die so easily!"

She got up holding onto Spear protectively.

"Come on we got to run!"

Fredrick nodded clutching Messy, "right! This isn't the last you've heard of us fuckers!"

"Arceus no I'm not letting you get away," Roxy moved her own burning hate radiating off her.

They panicked both throwinga small cloudy purple ball, slamming it to the ground, whitish smoke burst from inside leaving everyone stunned, coughing wildly Alex rush to help her.

"We can't let those kidnappers getaway! We can't!"

"Roxy relax, it's over we're never going to find them In this smoke," he said that same smoke slowly began to fade leaving only them in this open area, quickly he check to Ivy seeing she was still therewith the Eevee next to her, at least they didn't take them, "their gone...Nothing we can do about it."

She huffed crossing her arms leting her vent while he moved to a tired injured Ivy.

"Well done buddy," he couched down letting her falling his arms, "let's get you healed up, and you Eevee...Well done."

The Eevee look between him and a grinning Roxy seeing a tender honest look in her eyes she sat there tried but proud happy, buzzing with afireexcitement in her body.

"Eevee!"

A gentle breeze brush pastthe fading grass the sun still shinninga blue sky covered everything, off by some tree a group sattwo people two pokemon,

Ivy rested in Alex's arms as he applied his potion all the aches and pain slowly fading away all while he rubbed her head gently. Next to him, Roxy said tendering to the more timid Eevee who had begun to relax a little in theirpresents.

They were good people, she knew that.

"There we go bud back to your old self...How you feel?"

She stretched a little before flopping back in his lap.

"Snivy."

Roxy chuckled, "she's tried but good, might be a good idea to rest a little while." Alex nodded to that idea leaning back against a hard oak tree in the shade his pack to his side putting away the useless empty potion taking Roxy's, "thanks...Now to you little lady."

Directed at the Eevee she looks up to see all the face looking at her she grew timid again.

"What do we do with you...Tell us everything that happened before you met us."

"Eevee?" She glances to Alex and back to her.

"Don't worry, Alex is trustworthy you can trust me and Ivy right?"

She nodded at that seeing the one they called Alex sitting there relaxing petting Ivy who seemed to enjoy the affection...if she trusted him then maybe she could too...A little.

So from then, she told them everything.

She was with her mother and her brothers, being a female was rare but she was the eldest the one to protect the family who all were apparently unbelievably timid and fearful.

Often times if trouble rose she would run like what her family did but if she needed to fight, she would which has happened a few time being no true stranger to battle.

"So timid but when push came to shove you'd fight," he said the Eevee looking at him, "nice thanks for backing up Ivy I hadn't said that yet."

She just nodded, something would always turn inside her when she ran or sat by watching someone else save her...Was this a fire? a will to fight? it was something that burned inside her...Something she didn't really know.

Anyway, It was like any other day in the forest she and her brothers we're gathering berries until two strange people came saw her and tried capturing her.

They ran back to the den where they followed still aggressively trying to get her, with no choice and the desire to protect her family she said she would run lose them then come back, the mother nodded just as terrified as her and her brothers, since then she's been running...For days.

"For days!? Damn little Eevee all that time running form those assholes I couldn't image it."

"Evelynn."

"What?" he said this sounding familiar.

"Her name, It's Evelynn," she said, the cute brown fluffy pokemon herself looking up at him, those cute eyes staring.

"Oh,wow...What a name very...I like it," he said quite the exotic name making him wonder about pokemon names, did pokemon just give themselves? Or what?

"Snivy," She nodded.

Evelynn blushed a little only nodding glancing to Ivy.

"Anyway continue."

She did simply running and running until she found them who so kindly saved them now she had to get back to them, worried, wondering if they were ok.

"So now you have to travel all the way back?" Roxy asked Evelynn nodded.

"That a long way...It could be dangerous."

She nodded knowing the danger this timid pokemon went through yet she was brave enough, determined enough to do it, seeing that fierce look on her face earlier knowing it was true.

"We wish you luck," Alex said Evelynn didn't really know how to responded to the human, "yeah so any way we should-"

"Help her!" Roxy shouted suddenly.

"What!?"

"Eevee!?"

"Come on Alex we can protect her, what if team climax come back to get her, or some big scary pokemon she will be safe with us."

"But does she want that? She keeps getting nervous every time I look at her."

Evelynn paniced he noticed? Wary and a little guilty backing off into Roxy's lap trying to hide.

"She's a wild pokemon theirnaturally wary of humans plus she a female Eevee those are extremely rare, team climax wasn't the only ones who wanted her, she been dealing with it her whole life...It'ssad really."

A hand came to her head rubbing it gently.

"Exactly that's why I'm asking if she wants it...Your not the only one who cares Roxy."

"Yeah, yeah I know...So Evelynn you wanna join us? I promise you, you'll be safe with us."

She...Evelynn looks to the others including Alex all nodding along seeming eager to help, how lucky was she to find these people, wary herself of the journey back nothing would mess with her and Ivy...She was strong and kind.

"Eevee!" she side jump up nodding.

"Great! We got ourselves a new travelling companion...If for a few days...The only thing now is...How do we protect her? From other trainer and team climax, one poke ball and puff all over."

The crowd wondered for a moment thinking on who to even protect her...Alex was first to come up with an idea.

"I have an Idea...I could capture her."

"What!?" Roxy shouted surprising him by how loud and aggressive she was.

"Yeah if we're worried other trainer having it might as well be me then them."

"No!" Roxy's suddenly enraged standing up, Evelynn reacting herself cautious of Alex, "we're not capturing her we're trying to protect her!"

"And she will be protected!" he shouted back getting up Ivy shifted to his feet who watched nearby.

"Still to capture her! She wants to find her family! She'll be trapped forever if you capture her."

He froze confused tilting his head at the angry woman.

"What are you talking about? I'll release her once we find her family."

That anger...Almost completely faded from Roxy face tilting her head frowning...Confused, angry.

"What's...Release? Trainers can't do that right?"

"Don't you know?" he questions her...She looked like she had no bloody idea what he was talking about, "when a trainer captures a pokemon you can release them, everyone knows that."

From the look on her face, it seemed she didn't shake in some strange sense of disbelief, howdidn't she know that? Its common knowledge.

"And they're free? Completely?"

"Well until some other person captures them but yeah completely free."

"I...I had no idea a trainer could do that," she said almost a little guilty, "I've only ever seen them capture and take, never release...Can all trainer do that?"

"As far as I know," Alex said defensive, "I mean I can see why you might think that a trainer never has a reason to release their pokemon unless it something personal...Like this here is, I'm only capturing her so Team Climax and other people can't...I swear on my word Roxy I'll release her once we find her family."

Roxy trembled suddenly looking away distracted by something, something different unable to meet his eyes staring off into the far distance, "then there a chance I can save...Her."

She whispered so quietly Alex didn't hear but Ivy and Evelynn did.

"What?"

"Nothing nothing," she turned back playfully optimistic suddenly so friendly it made Alex wary, "but yeah sorry this whole time I just thought they would be imprisoned for life...I'm a silly thing to think that, your plan sounds great we'll try it."

Weirded out by the mood change still he shrugged, happy to...well have a more agreeable Roxy.

"Already then can you please tell her the plan I don't wanna stress out Evelynn."

"She understands it," Roxy replied seeing her shivering a little, "but you wanna go through with it?" she asked Evelynn herself, "and don't worry he will release you...I'll make sure of it."

The Eevee glanced to him for a moment staring into his eye making him nervous, she sighed sitting down nodding.

"Eevee."

"She says yes."

Wait really...holy shit...holy shit he didn't know it could be so easy only ever knowing battle and capture...Still, he always wanted to do this! Excitedly getting out a poke ball crowing towards to her showing her, no way he was going to throw something thing at this...beautiful elegant lady.

"Just boop the middle bit...Please."

looking to his kind eye his loyal Snivy sat on his shoulder nodded with a small smile she boop it, suddenly opening up she lit up entering the ball, the thing shook in his hands.

Once...Twice...Three...Ding.

"Is it done?"

"Yes! Haha!" Alex cried out excited thrusting his arm to the sky, "my second pokemon!"

"Ahem!"

Quickly glancing back a frown crossed arm Roxy he chuckled softly.

"I mean...Hey I'm still a trainer at heart," he said throwing the ball, the thing opening a red beam leading hitting the floor forming into a shape.

Evelynn returned who was shaking terrified looking around in a mad paranoid.

"Woah Woah Evelynn it's ok your with us."

"Eevee! Eevee?"

"Yeah, it's done...Now with that done, we should get moving it's going to be a few days till we can even get to the nest, we should start there then find Evelynn's family."

"Right, it going to take a few days to get there then after we can continue to Aquaduck and face my first gym leader."

"Snivy!" She said pumped.

The group in high spirits The crew beganto travel continuing on there way Eevee walked with them still anxious about Alex who was now her master but it was only temporary, Roxy would make sure of it...Which she believe trusting her more.

The young man had a small smile on his face facing those bully facing it all...they're just one more thing.

"Hey, Roxy I do need to tell you something."

"Which is?"

"I want at least another pokemon before we head to Aquaduck," he said turning the girl slightly nervous, "seeing Ivy face that team all alone we're not going to get as lucky as we did, we'll be safer in number so we help Evelynn get back home then focus on getting another pokemon, just telling you because you get all...finicky about it alright?"

"Crystal clear our side mission is to get Alex his second pokemon!"

Well, that was easy...Strangely so, still with that they grow walked on Alex wondering himself what his next pokemon going to be?

Finally, it's done...I want to say a massive thank you for reading this and sorry for this taking so long, I was serious when I said I'm a slow writer, but continuing on Alex's adventure now you've met the team of the region, Team Climax and all there perverted joy.

There more to than meets the eye might I add

The inspiration for Team Climax was simply really a mix of one's perverted attraction to pokemon and how people would react to that...Anyway my fav team in the pokemon games Team Plasma from pokemon black and white (Pokemon Black was first pokemon game I ever beat).

Also the guild! I hoped you like that idea, I mean how are trainers meant to get money? Seem wrong to just steal money from beaten people so simply the guild was made for that idea and stuff to do in chapters.

Also please give constructive criticism If you want, I won't know what wrong unless some say so I can improve all are welcomed, and about an editor...sorry I've already given my reason for why I don't have one still anyway hope you enjoyed.

Oh one last thing as a sorry for the wait I will say I have two new series in the work (as of 29/01/2021 the date this was written and 13/02/2021 the date it finish edditing )

Both relating to furries but one won't be for while as i have to finish writing one and the other coming closer then you think need to finish editing the others (two chapters will come out at the same time, they're both written just need to edit, most likely be the next thing posting coz they just need editing)
