#3 of Warm Hearts, Padded Tails

Here's part three, and oh boy, it's starting to get just a little bit spicy~

Finn's made his way over to Vulcan's house at his invitation, and they start to talk about some more... personal things, before Finn gets another invitation to follow the typhlosion somewhere...

Finn padded along behind Vulcan, only a step or two behind. The small buizel had to take a few paces for every lope of the much larger typhlosion, but he was accustomed to keeping up with much taller pokémon, being only a bit over 2 feet tall himself. Of course, he usually wasn't having to deal with the slight waddle being given to him by the diaper hidden under his baggy sweatpants, but he was managing pretty well, regardless.

The typhlosion, dressed casually as well, looked back to the buizel with a smile, taking a sip of his tea as they walked through the city's park. They'd been enjoying the day so far, taking a quiet stroll through the patch of nature in the middle of the crowded city, having a nice time together without all of the noise and bustle that the big city tends to have. Vulcan would occasionally strike up another short conversation as he commented on something around them, keeping there from being too many pauses of silence for it to be uncomfortable for the two on their first date.

But for the most part, the two were happily enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, a calm breeze washing over them in the temperate weather. Vulcan could see a smile on the buizel's face as he looked around the treetops, that twinkle still in his eyes as if he were at home here. The typhlosion could tell that the water type was enjoying it, even when they weren't actively talking, just having a nice time in the company of someone else.

Eventually, the pair reached the edge of the park, having walked across the entire thing from one side to another, breaking out of the openness of nature back into the hustle and bustle of city life, seeing plenty of pokémon of all shapes and sizes walking to their destinations, passing by shopfronts lined with all the goods they wanted to push to passers-by.

Finn felt a bit of the social anxiety that he'd managed to escape in the park start to creep back in, but as Vulcan looked back, he felt a warmth grow in his chest that seemed to propel him forward, like a burst of energy being granted by the fire-type's presence. His tails, which started to droop at leaving the peace of nature, picked back up into a slight twirl. He gave a bit of a nod to the typhlosion, as if to let him know that he would be alright.

Vulcan smiled, happy to see the confidence return to his companion's face as he stepped out onto the sidewalk, leading him along, making sure not to lose him in the crowd. After a bit of walking together, the buizel looked up to Vulcan, patting him on the arm to get his attention.

"So, er, where are we going next?" Finn asked, still having a hint of nervousness behind the confidence granted by Vulcan's presence.

"Well, there's plenty more to see of the city than just the park, bud! Thought I might as well show you around while we're out and about, seeing as you're new here and all." A cheery smile flashed across the typhlosion's muzzle as he turned back to look at Finn, who returned the gesture, only to be caught off guard as the pair heard a "Coming through!!" from ahead of them.

A scolipede, laden with plenty of bags across their back, each with papers flying out like a hurricane, was running forward at full speed, presumably late for something important. They yelled to everyone in front of them to give them warning, as many pokémon as possible doing their best to dodge backwards, bumping into each other in the process as they all tried to get out of the way. Vulcan quickly dodged to one side to let the scolipede pass, but Finn, being much smaller, ended up getting pushed around and back by the crowd around him, falling backwards onto the sidewalk.

When the scolipede had passed and people murmured to themselves about the inconvenience as they got back to their commute, Vulcan rushed over to where Finn had fallen onto the ground, concern evident on his face. He reached down to help the smaller pokémon up, giving him a "You alright there?" as he did.

Finn's mood had been instantly soured. The fall wasn't too bad thanks to the extra padding cushioning his backside, but he'd fallen onto his tails, and worse, the remains of his tea spilled all over his clothes, getting the front of his shirt and sweatpants covered in the stuff.

He accepted the paw being reached down for him by Vulcan, annoyed by the impatient pokémon that had caused his fall and the crowd around him. So much for a great first date, now he'd need to go change, the date would be cut short, everything sucked and was awful and--

"Hey, I'm so sorry about that, are you doing okay?" Vulcan said to Finn, worried about his companion.

"Yeah, I guess I'm fine... just spilled my drink everywhere, though..."

"Oh dear, that's no good. I'm guessing you don't just have a spare set of clothes on you..." Vulcan looked a bit sad thinking about what to do, before his face lit up in an idea. "Well, you can always go back home to change, but it's a ways away now... but my house is pretty close to here if you'd rather not walk the whole way back to yours in soggy clothes. I can give you a spare set of old clothes to borrow and you can wash up so your fur doesn't get all sticky. I'm sure I can find something from long enough ago that it'll fit you."

Finn was caught off guard by the proposal and the kindness of Vulcan, who he hadn't met all too long ago. Thoughts flashed through his mind of worry, that he would be imposing, he would just be a bother... but Vulcan extended a paw with a smile and a raised eyebrow, the offer clear.

Just a moment later, a gust of wind and the distant sound of thunder caused the two to look up to the sky, seeing the clouds starting to darken a bit. Guess it was going to rain soon. Great, another thing to deal with...

Finn hesitated for another moment before taking the paw in his own, being led with a bit more of a quick pace towards the typhlosion's house.

Finn stared in a bit of shock as he looked ahead of him.

Vulcan had told him before that he'd lived in the city for his whole life, and he was clearly talking about a house before and not an apartment... but the buizel hadn't seen this coming.

The typhlosion was apparently much more well off than the buizel knew about, as he had quite a large house with a spacious yard and multiple stories. Two cars were parked in front of it, and the place gave off quite an imposing aura to the buizel who came from a pretty run-down town.

He realized a moment later that he'd been staring with wide eyes and an open maw, quickly blinking a few times as he shut it. He looked up to Vulcan, who seemed to show the first signs of embarrassment that the buizel had seen of him. Maybe he didn't really want Finn to know about this yet? He certainly didn't let on that he was rich, or at least moderately wealthy.

"Er, so, this is my house..." the Typhlosion said to the buizel bashfully, before he suddenly felt a water droplet land on the end of his snout, startling him. It was starting to sprinkle, and if the two of them didn't get inside soon, they would end up even more drenched than the buizel already was, his shirt sticking to his fur from the tea that was spilled there. Vulcan took a deep breath and led the buizel up to the front door, taking a set of keys out of his pocket and inserting one into the doorknob, turning it and letting him walk in first.

The place was beautiful, but not ostentatious. Fairly understated and simple, but it looked nice. Wooden floors were well taken care of, and a simple staircase in the entranceway that led up to the upper floor. Hallways extended to the left and right, leading to who knows where. Finn stood in shock once more, not sure what to do, before Vulcan cleared his throat.

"Er, you should probably get cleaned off, the shower's this way, just follow me." The typhlosion, looking bashful, walked ahead of the buizel, leading him down the right hallway and into a room on the left, the door opening to reveal a fairly large sized bathroom with a nice shower, the shower curtain pulled aside to show that the inside was built to easily fit a typhlosion. Everything in this house was designed for someone over double the height of the small weasel, and he felt a bit intimidated by it all.

"Here, you can take a shower and clean yourself off, just leave your clothes by the entrance. I'll go look for some old clothes that might fit you, and I'll leave them here and put yours in the wash. Sound good, bud?" Vulcan, still a bit embarrassed by it all, looked back to Finn with the best smile he could muster, who nodded back to him. He started to head out of the bathroom before Finn spoke up.

"Hey, thanks for this, Vulcan. I really do appreciate it all. It's really kind of you," he said to the typhlosion, who turned back to look at him, a genuine smile on his face at being thanked. Vulcan nodded, shutting the door as he went off to get some clothes for the buizel.

Finn took off his clothes, peeling the sticky shirt off of his fur, before he once again remembered the garment taped around his waist. He wasn't exactly sure what to do about that one... he took off the tapes and set it to the side, out of the way so that maybe the typhlosion wouldn't see it when he came to replace his clothes with new ones, as he wasn't sure exactly what to do here.

After a moment, he stepped into the shower, feeling dwarfed by everything in this place, fiddling with the tap to get it to start up, and releasing a sigh as he felt the water run down his fur. He looked at the things Vulcan had in here, finding some nice shampoos and conditioners lining the side of the shower, and using them to clean up his fur.

About halfway through the shower, he heard the door creak open, some slight sounds of movement coming from the other side of the curtain, before the door closed again, presumably a new set of clothes being left for the buizel to wear while his last set was being washed.

Eventually, the buizel turned the knob to turn off the shower, gently shaking himself as the water slid off of his fur. He grabbed a towel and dried himself off, stepping out of the shower to find a neatly folded set of clothes on the ground near the door, with his old set nowhere to be seen. He looked over the clothes, which were closer to his size, but still slightly too large on him. They consisted of an old white tee shirt with faded lettering on the front and a somewhat childish design of stars covering it, and a slightly too big pair of basketball shorts, likely old clothes from the typhlosion's childhood that he dug out to be worn by the much shorter pokémon.

Though what surprised him was after he picked up the shorts, seeing what was underneath - a folded white rectangle that he recognized pretty well, being the shape of a diaper. Looking around, the one he'd taken off was nowhere to be seen either.

Well, that definitely means that the typhlosion knew about it all... and he had some himself?

Finn wasn't sure if he should feel relieved... or excited?

Vulcan sat nervously in the sitting room, worried about just about everything. He was fidgeting up a storm, possibly a worse one than the storm raging outside, as a flash of lightning illuminated the room through the windows. Was it too much? Should he have not invited him over? But he didn't want him to have to walk all the way back home in a storm, especially not as bad as this, and while his clothes were covered in tea... but he seemed uncomfortable here... would Finn see him differently now that he knew?

He suddenly looked up as he saw the buizel shyly enter the room, wearing some of his old childhood clothes.

He. looked. ADORABLE!

The typhlosion was stunned by how the buizel looked, wearing a tee shirt and shorts that were far too big on him, the faded childish design on the front, and the clear bulge from what he was wearing underneath the shorts being visible to the typhlosion from across the room.

Yeah, he made the right decision inviting the buizel over.

"Well, don't you look nice! Feel any better after getting that tea cleaned out of your fur?" the typhlosion asked, a smile across his face.

It was Finn's turn to be the bashful one, and he was blushing up a storm. The typhlosion hadn't really left him options for what to wear, so unless he was just going to walk out of the bathroom in the nude, he was a bit stuck with what was given to him. And sure, he didn't have to wear the diaper... and it was much thicker than the one he had worn previously, forcing his legs even further apart into a waddle and being completely obvious to anyone with a set of eyes...

But he kinda liked it.

"Y-yeah, thanks... I do feel a lot better. Thanks for letting me come here for now, I'm sorry if I'm intruding or anything..." A paw went behind the buizel's head to scratch as he looked away and down, embarrassed by everything, but loving every second of it.

Vulcan patted the couch next to him, extending an offer to the bashful bui to join him, and Finn walked over with his paws held together in embarrassment. As he reached the couch, he pulled himself up and _pomphed_himself onto it, the padding under his tails raising him up slightly higher off of the seat as his legs once more swung back and forth in the air.

Everything in the larger pokémon's house felt _massive_to the tiny buizel, which only served to make him feel even smaller in comparison to the large fire type next to him. He could feel a bit of heat radiating off of Vulcan, a pleasant warmth like a blanket just out of the dryer would give. Despite the unfamiliarity of the situation... he felt comfortable. But his heart felt like it was going to beat right out of his chest.

Vulcan looked down at his companion, seeing his bashfulness plain as day, which only served to make the buizel cuter to him. He started to blush a bit too as he felt a similar feeling in his chest.

"I, er, wasn't expecting your place to look like this, sorry if I seemed a bit stunned when we got here..." Finn said to the typhlosion, worried that he had made things awkward between them.

Vulcan let out a sigh before smiling down at the buizel. "Yeah, I don't like to make it apparent or anything... I've lived here since I was a kid, my parents were pretty well off. They both passed away a while back, and the place ended up being left to me. I'm... always worried that people will see me differently if they know about it..."

The buizel looked up at the typhlosion with compassion as he talked about his parents and his worries, before reaching out and putting a paw on his arm. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna judge you or anything. I'm glad to have met you, and I'm glad you let me come here to get out of those clothes and that rain."

Thunder rolled from outside once more as they spoke, the buizel's ears perking up as he heard it, before he turned his attention back to the typhlosion. His two tails spun slowly around each other, waving back and forth slightly, eliciting a small crinkle as they did.

Vulcan smiled down at the buizel, letting out a chuckle that jiggled his stomach through the shirt that bulged out a bit behind it as he heard the soft crinkles. "Well, I guess you got that change that I offered you before, though not exactly in the way that I meant," he said, turning the subject away from more serious matters.

Finn turned tomato berry red as he heard that, his ears flattening against his head. Vulcan burst out into laughter at seeing this, overwhelmed by how cute the small buizel looked, and only adding to his embarrassment.

As the laughter came to a close, Finn looked up at the typhlosion, still embarrassed. "So... you like them... too?" he said, shamefully, twiddling his fingers as he looked down.

"Well of course I do, kiddo, I dunno how I could have gotten you a change otherwise! And I must say, you look pretty nice in that outfit," Vulcan responded to the ashamed buizel.

Finn bit his bottom lip as he got more compliments from Vulcan, as well as hearing the larger pokémon call him "kiddo" again. The joy on the typhlosion's face and the aura of warmth he gave off only made him feel even nicer about it all, and more comfortable, even as his body flooded with embarrassment.

"Not like you're the only one who wears them in the big city. I've got plenty of friends with a stash of their own, just like mine. And you're not even the only one in the room wearing one."

Finn was surprised to hear about the supposed group of people Vulcan knew who were also into the same thing as him, and even more surprised to hear from the typhlosion himself that he had one too.

"What, don't believe me?" Vulcan said, seeing the surprise on the buizel's face. He reached down and slightly pulled down his sweatpants, showing a very large diaper taped around his own waist, slightly yellowed on the front. He chuckled a bit as Finn stared wide-eyed, not expecting that from the large typhlosion.

"You can be comfortable around me, I can't exactly judge you when I like the same stuff, after all!" Vulcan pulled back up the front of his sweatpants. Finn was once again in full embarrassment mode, slightly hunched forward with flattened ears and a blush that envied the reddest of cheri berries, but his tails gave away his excitement, twirling quicker and moving back and forth subconsciously, only leading to more crinkles from what he was wearing under the too-large shorts.

The typhlosion placed a large paw on the buizel's back, giving him a few comforting pats. "I promise, you've got nothing to be ashamed of here, kiddo. So feel free to be comfy," he said, ruffling his head fur just a bit before smoothing it out.

"Th-thank you, Vulcan," he managed to squeak out, having trouble getting any words to come out, despite wanting to say just about everything he could.

The fire type pushed himself off of the couch, Finn looking up to him with a start as he did. "Well, as you just saw, I could probably use a change myself. I'll be going to deal with that, but... feel free to follow if you need one yourself... or if you just wanna join me.~"

Vulcan started down the hallway towards the entrance, making his way out of the sitting room. Finn watched him walk out for a moment, and once he was out of sight, he took a deep breath and stood up himself, quietly padding along, wanting to follow. He swallowed his fear and started making his way forward, still blushing up a storm.
