How I date a wolf

Welp, another oneshot to add to my collection. 12k words, my new record no less.

Since I've written so many heavy-themed fantasy stories recently, I decided to go with regular human dating furry stuff this time. It's also been a while since I last wrote a story in first person view, and it was surprisingly entertaining.

As mentioned above, this story is rather long, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a quick read. That being said, I hope you enjoy it.

Being the only human in a school full of beasts must suck.

Well, kind of...

There has always been an assumption that beastfolk are undoubtedly superior to humans, both physically and mentally. Uh…no. While they have the edge regarding raw strength and senses, intelligence is a different story. I guess God - or whoever created this world - decided to roll the dice on that one to keep things fair. Just like humans, beastfolk also fall into 2 categories: smart and idiotic, and I’m definitely not a fan of the latter.

Anyway, back to the question. Yeah, it sucks, though my misery isn’t dealing with muscle heads who think they are somehow above others; it’s from the sheer exhaustion of being the odd one out. Like, I get it, I stand out like a sore thumb, but must they really stare and whisper like high-schoolers? This is college, for fuck's sake! Also, I didn’t choose this. My tight budget didn’t exactly scream all-human or integrated private schools, and student debts are definitely not something I want to carry over to my future life.

For the most part though, I don’t complain much. Every day is the same, predictable, repetitive: Go to class, get good grades, do part-time jobs, and as annoyed as I am about the blatant bias, I try to remain respectful. The fewer enemies the better. Why act like a freak just because they assume I was one?

Thus, I always sit alone, and I prefer it that way. No seatmate, no forced conversations, no drama. I mind my own business, and I expect others to do the same.

Recently, however, I often experienced unsettling chills for no reason, as in…the kind of chills resulted from stalkers.

Today, for example…

Mrs. Sarah - my flamingo linguistic lecturer, closed her book as she finished her lecture, which was so boring everyone in the class was on the verge of falling asleep. Not that I hadn't nearly been sedated either, but I had to keep myself awake, or at least appeared awake. I wasn't that popular with the students already so I was in no hurry to antagonize the lecturers. Also, since I sat alone, I was usually the target for random questions, and I knew I'd be chewed out should my answer fail to satisfy them.

Anyhow, I was considering my options for lunch when suddenly, chills ran down my spine.

Again?!

Damn it, give me a break! If you had anything to say, say it to my face, don't creep me out like some shitty stalker wannabe!

The feeling quickly vanished though, and when I was about to exhale in relief, a voice from behind nearly made me jump out of my seat.

“Umm, Kota…"

Holy crap! I almost swore out loud. Your voice is smooth, I get it, but don't go around startling people like that!

Composing myself, I turned around and was rather surprised to find myself looking at a very handsome, amber-eyed wolf. Yup, that's him alright, Mr. transfer student, the new hot boy on campus.

“Matthew, isn't it?"

“You know?" the wolf pointed at himself in bemusement.

“I have eyes and ears.” I chuckled at my dry wit, “Can I help you with something, Matthew?"

“Just Matt, please," Matt smiled, rubbing the back of his head nervously. He seemed uneasy with my formality – something I often resorted to when dealing with strangers. Nonetheless, he quickly spoke up, “You see, our class is planning to perform a play for the school anniversary, and we're short of actors, so…"

I was taken aback, not because of the school anniversary. I meant, yeah, I knew it was coming, like many of those annual dull events people used as excuses to drink and party their asses off. The thing was…I hadn't been asked to participate in any anniversary, like…ever. Also, a play? I sure hoped it wasn't gonna be 'The little Red riding hood'. Matt was the only wolf in my class, and I’d bet Little Red wouldn't mind letting this particular Big Bad Wolf take a bite out of her and her nan the moment she caught a glimpse of that heart-stopping grin. Heck, even the hunter dude would probably ask for his autograph instead of reaching for a gun.

Perhaps because my silence lasted a bit too long, Matt mistook my confusion for hesitation, “How about I treat you to lunch, and we can talk this over?"

Did he say ‘lunch’?

Well, I was a big fan of food, and it wasn't every day that someone was handing me a free meal ticket, let alone my class' hot boy. As for the play, I could always turn him down if I had problems with the script. Honestly, I had nothing to lose here.

The look on everyone's faces when they saw us walking into the cafeteria and ordering together was priceless. After grabbing a bowl of ramen and iced tea for myself, I glanced at Matt's tray and noticed his choices were quite healthy: Turkey sandwich, salad and pineapple juice. Strange, I thought jocks, especially carnivores like wolves would always load their tray with stuff like cheesy pasta, pizza, burgers, fried chicken or overly sweet ice cream, then top it off with protein shakes or energy drinks.

Err…I let my stereotypes run amok again. My bad.

We chose a fairly quiet corner to eat. During the meal, Matt explained the play my class had selected, and to my relief, it was neither a cringy love story nor a childish fairy tale, but simply a rendition of a classic from Greek mythology: The life of Perseus. Naturally, the lead role Perseus went to the handsome canine sitting across from me, while I was nominated for Hermes, messenger of the Olympians. I kinda liked it. Hermes, Hades and Hestia were actually my favorite Greek gods, whereas the rest seemed more like petulant children with power they were never qualified to wield and responsibilities they constantly evaded.

Everything was all well and good, until I saw a female Persian cat approaching us from the corner of my eye.

Oh boy, here we go again_._

Normally, when people left high school to attend college, they underwent a transformation in personality. They became more mature, responsible and modest, because they knew the time to play around was over and they should focus on working toward their own future. However, there were always those who refused to grow up and still believed they were the only thing that mattered in the whole goddamn world. Krissi was one of them. She was a rich kid, obviously, and she carried her alpha bitch attitude from high school to college like a medal of honor. Nonetheless, it was harder to buy allegiance with money these days, so at least Krissi was no longer surrounded by her cronies. The fewer they were, the better!

Anyone who wasn't blind would immediately notice Krissi's crush on Matt, which was as clear as her overbearing attitude, so the moment I saw her walking over here, I knew things were about to get ugly.

“Hi there, Matt." Krissi purred, completely ignoring me, of course. Her sickeningly sweet perfume permeated the air, and my eyes nearly watered when I caught a whiff. If that was how I felt, I wondered how Matt was holding up, given his much keener sense of smell. To the wolf's credit, he didn't look sick or vexed at all…either because he was really, really good at concealing signs of disgust, or he'd simply gotten used to this nasty smell, given how often Krissi had bothered him.

Before either of us had a chance to reply, Krissi went on, “Matt darling, you should be over there with us, not with…this." She glanced at me and her nose wrinkled, as if she'd caught a whiff of manure. And by manure, I believed she meant me.

Matt had a conflicted look on his face, as if his own courtesy was holding him back from giving this annoying cat a piece of his mind, so I figured, what the heck, I would do the dirty work for him. Just this time, Matt, you'd better thank me later.

Flashing Krissi a polite smile, I mimicked her antics, “Krissi darling, don't look at me like I'm putting you off, because trust me, the only off-putting thing here is you."

Matt's jaw dropped, shock washing over his while Krissi's when from pale to red within seconds as her superficial smile froze. A few eerie seconds passed, then Krissi swung her hand in an attempt to slap me, but I easily caught her wrist.

Our little ruckus obviously made a scene over here, and judging from Matt's expression, he clearly wanted this to end as quickly as I did. Krissi winced as I tightened my grip, “Listen, Matt and I are discussing important matters and we don't want anything to do with you, so fuck off, will you? And before you think about shenanigans, I'd like to remind you that I can, at any moment from now, let the world know your dirty little secrets, like the time and place of your next one-night stand. Let me give you a piece of advice: Don't keep that kind of information in digital storage."

“You…you're lying!" Krissi went pale again. With a smile, I continued to enjoy the Persian cat's reaction, which probably made me sound like a dick, but hey, she was the one who started this. As for my intel on her habits…only a horny girl wore a disgusting amount of perfume in hope of catching the attention of every male around her.

“Oh yeah, try me."

That did the trick. As I released her, the cat bit her lips and gave me one last resentful glare before doing exactly what I'd demanded. When my gaze drifted back to Matt, he still had that shocked expression on his face.

“Hello, earth to Matthew." I chuckled, snapping my fingers, “Are you there, big boy?"

The wolf shuddered. He looked at me, wide-eyed, mouth still slightly agape, before finally speaking up, “That was…incredible."

“Was it?"

“Yeah, I mean…_wow! _I didn't expect that from you. You…always seem so indifferent."

“Don't wanna give people the idea that they could use me as a doormat. Does that change your opinion about me?"

It was a serious question. I was no fan of underhanded tactics such as hacking, but it was a much-needed leverage to survive in a world where a huge rift between humans and beasts still existed. If people couldn't accept my rough side, might as well cut all ties with them before things got ugly.

“No. I…I understand why you did it, but…I still find it shocking, since Krissi is…you know, a girl."

“I don't care. People like her can be nastier than those musclebound thugs you find on the street." I replied, taking a sip of my ice tea, “Unless Krissi gets a lesson, she'll keep harassing other people. Also, admit it, you were just as annoyed as I was."

Matt stared at me for a while, then grinned, “Alright, you got me. So…what do you think about the play?"

“I'm in."

My reply put a smile on his face. Damn, this guy was truly handsome, especially when he showed off those bright, amber eyes and flashy white teeth.

Hold on, what in the world was I doing? Admiring another guy's look?

“Great! I'll send you the scripts tomorrow. If you find anything wrong with the dialogues, just let me know and we can work on it ASAP."

“Okay." I agreed, offering him a handshake. The wolf eagerly accepted it with even more enthusiasm, tail wagging slight even though he was obviously trying to conceal his excitement.

“Are you comfortable with this costume, Kota?" Matt asked…for the fiftieth time this evening, so I nodded. For God's sake, even I wasn't that worked up about myself, why was he? If anything, Matt should be the one to worry, given the clunky Greek armor he would be stuck in for more than half of the play's duration. Compared to that, my costume was fairly simple, and aside from the silly-looking winged helmet which suspiciously resembled that of the MCU Thor, I was quite happy with the white tunic, the winged sandals and the caduceus…especially the caduceus! A staff with two snakes coiling around it and wings sprouting from the top, what's not to love?

“Okay, let's do this, let's do this…" Matt muttered, fidgeting restlessly.

“Calm down man, you're the hero." I chuckled at the nervous wolf.

“Easy for you to say, you're a god…" Matt pouted.

“Of thievery, lucky me. Also, a messenger basically equals an errand boy. Do you wanna be an immortal errand boy?"

“Just the immortal part, thank you." The wolf patted my shoulder, “Thanks, I feel so much better now."

“I see no reason to get worked up." I shrugged, “Remember: What others think doesn't matter. Once you step onto that stage, you are Perseus. The story is about you and you alone decide how it ends, got it?"

Matt nodded eagerly. As I watched him join the rest of the cast, I began to question my unusual behavior these days. Not only had I been uncharacteristically patient around Matt, I had also been way too generous and supportive with my words. Was it an anomaly, or was I acting this way because Hermes always aided Greek heroes during their adventures? If I remembered correctly, there was a term for this way of understanding your character. What was it…aha, method acting! Yes, this was all method acting, and I was merely trying to get a better grasp of my character. It had nothing to do with Matt whatsoever.

Right?

Anyway, show time. After the number draw, we landed third on the list, which I thought was spot-on. Everyone tended to have high expectations for the first and second performances, seeing as they were the show openers, whereas those after fourth usually got less attention as the audience would start to feel tired by then. However, this didn't mean I was doubting my class. I knew the amount of effort we'd put into this play, from acting, costumes to background music, and I personally thought our preparations were top-notch. Still, reality could sometimes differ greatly from expectations, so we needed all the advantages we could get, just to be sure.

Zeus, portrayed by a tiger named Kevin, was the first one to appear, and from there, the story unfolded. Classic, wasn't it? Didn't most epics in Greek mythology begin with the so-called 'king of the gods' lusting after a mortal, sating his lust then abandoning his mistress and illegitimate offspring to inevitable misery, usually Hera's wrathful jealousy?

It wasn't long before our boy Perseus entered the plot, though not portrayed by Matt. Perseus, like every mortal and demi-god in Greek mythology, started out as a baby, then a boy and finally, a man. I honestly had no clue how my class managed to find a wolf plushy and a young wolf for infant and child Perseus respectively, but they were adorable. The resemblances were uncanny, and the crew even repainted the doll's eyes as well as making the child actor wear lenses to make sure Perseus's eye color remained consistent throughout the play. Truly impressive continuity.

At last, it was Matt's turn to show off, and he didn't disappoint. My little pep talk earlier seemed to have done wonders for his morale, as Perseus’s every word and gesture screamed confidence and heroism. Looking at the Greek champion on stage, I chuckled as a sense of pride I had no business feeling surged in my chest.

Wait…why was I proud?

The play quickly escalated to its main part: Perseus's quest to slay Medusa. Poor, poor Medusa. I'd always considered her a victim, a prime example for the Olympians's irresponsibility and childishness. Just because of his petty vendetta against Athena after losing a patron contest to her, Poseidon violated Medusa right in Athena's temple and ran away after she was transformed into a heinous monster. Then there was Athena - the goddess of wisdom, so naturally we assumed she was the wise one. Heck no, despite r all the knowledge and rationale she was supposed to represent, Athena dished out a terrible and completely unjust punishment on Medusa because…you guessed it, she was powerless against Poseidon, so the high and mighty goddess vented her frustration on a poor, helpless woman. The moral was: At the end of the day, no matter who was at fault, mortals always ended up taking the crap because their puny lives meant nothing compared to almighty gods, right?

But enough with my mental ramble. Out there, Perseus had received all necessary equipment from the gods, including a sword from Zeus, a shield from Athena, the Helm of darkness from Hades. It was time for me to take the stage.

I could hear the audience's collective gasp as I walked out. Must be quite a scene: Among tough-looking, muscular beastfolk stood a lone human, playing the role of a god no less. Their opinion didn't concern me though, so with a completely unfazed look, I strode across the stage with deliberate steps to fulfill my role and gave Perseus his last divine gift – Hermes's winged sandals.

My part was quite short, so I quickly retreated to the backstage to watch the rest of the play. It was only after Perseus successfully decapitated Medusa that I noticed my eyes had been on him the whole time. Imagine how outlandish an ordinary person might look in an assortment of ancient Greek accessories, namely the armor, the helm, the odd-looking sword/sickle hybrid, the big circular shield and most glaring of all, the winged sandals, yet everything seemed so natural on Matt. Somehow the wolf was over-the-top yet convincing, or perhaps the confidence exuding from him had managed to give everyone the impression that they were watching a real hero on his quest to greatness rather than a good actor playing his role.

Sorry, where was I?

Oh, right…now came the moment Perseus got rewarded for his heroic deeds. On the way back to Seriphos, he used the freshly chopped-off head of Medusa to petrify Poseidon's sea serpent and saved the lovely princess Andromeda. Good for him. Now he had a gorgon head and sweetheart to bring home.

The rest was history. Perseus used Medusa's head to legally dispose of his enemies, married Andromeda, had a ton of children and lived happily ever after. The end. Oh, and before that, our hero also needed to accidentally kill his grandpa to fulfill a prophecy, the one that had his mother locked up in a chamber, only for Zeus to…get intimate with her in the form of a golden rain. Say what you want about the king of gods (and cheating), he got good taste on this occasion.

Finally, it was over. The entire crew bowed to the audience to a thunderous applause, before withdrawing to the backstage. I was trying to sneak away quietly when Matt literally pounced on me, flashing his enthusiastic smile and hugging me tightly.

“We did it! We did it!"

“Matt…you're crushing me…"

He was. The wolf, already much heavier than me, was now putting his entire mass, plus the clunky costume on my body.

“Oh…oh right," Matt let go of me and scratched the back of his head awkwardly, “Sorry about that."

Sorry my ass, hadn't he noticed his vigorously wagging tail? If he wasn't obviously a wolf, I might've thought the one standing in front of me right now was a husky. Indeed, why was he not a husky? That would've suited his dorky nature much better than this cool, lone wolf appearance.

Anyway, it was extremely difficult to get mad with his infectious vitality, so I poked his forehead instead, “Take these off. You wanna go to bed tonight cosplaying Greek heroes?"

Still with his dorky smile, he proceeded to remove his helmet, his armor and finally, his winged sandals. Matt was sweating profusely, his fur dampened and matted all over his body, but the wolf never looked happier as far as I remembered. If anything, Matt seemed to have so much fun that he might actually consider going vegan if I made that suggestion right now. I wouldn't, obviously.

“We did it…thanks to you, Kota."

“Me?" I pointed at myself in mild confusion, “To what do I owe that kind of credit while you were clearly the one carrying our entire performance?"

“To tell the truth…I was really nervous when I was nominated for this role. Everyone has high expectations for me. I mean, they often look at me and think, oh he's a big wolf, he must know his way around. You, on the other hand…" Matt confessed, “You neither give me empty praises nor act like I'm supposed to know everything. You just support me like a good friend. Thank you, Kota."

Was Matt testing my ability to not pet him? And…what was this heat on my cheeks?

“Hey! What are you two doing over there?" Zeus…I meant Kevin, called us; a beer in one hand and two in the other. Oh boy, I knew where this was going, and it wouldn't be good for me because I absolutely detested beer. Manly drink, wasn't it? Why did people never think twice about chugging that stuff down, only to whine about their inflated gut years later, it made no sense. Liquid bread? Yeah, more like ‘liquid regret’ to me.

Before I had a chance to respond, Matt stepped between me and the tiger and snatched the beers from Kevin's hand, “Keep your voice down, we’re talking.”

“Uh…Sorry," Kevin rubbed the back of his head, “Everyone wants to throw a party, and they wonder if you…two want to join."

Fair enough, my class had done a wonderful job tonight and there was a big chance we'd be voted Best act of the night, so it was worth a celebration, but I just didn't find the idea of a party too appealing. To start with, I hadn't had much interaction with my classmates other than Matt, so it would be quite awkward to just be there, but more importantly, party meant beer and liquor, and after a stressful night, they were the last thing I wanted in my bloodstream.

But for Matt, it should be a completely different story. He needed to be there, in the spotlight, surrounded by his admirers, and I had no right or desire to hold him back.

“Don't worry about me," I said, patting Matt's back, “Go with him."

Matt looked at me, clearly torn between leaving his human friend behind and joining the rest of his classmates. After a brief moment, he gave me one of the beers taken from Kevin, and winked at me coyly before departing with the tiger. Underneath the beverage was a note, somehow scribbled and slipped to my hand with neither Kevin nor me noticing.

Don't drink it. Wait for me at the café behind our school. Be there soon.

That dork…what did he have in store for me? The thought brought a smile to my face.

I was half-way through a cup of latte and The Son of Neptune when I heard Matt's familiar voice. The wolf, changed to a casual black shirt, jeans and white hoodie, ran toward me and waved his hand happily. Also, had he showered? I could smell the faint fragrance of sandalwood from his now well-groomed fur.

“Slow down, I'm not going anywhere." I smirked and closed my reading app. Matt panted, hands on knees for a few seconds, then took the seat opposite me. On our table was the beer he'd given me earlier, and when I realized we were both looking at it, my mind immediately drifted to his written message, “Why did you tell me not to drink?"

Matt looked slightly confused. He glanced at the can of alcohol and then back at me, “Uh…I thought you don't like beer."

I was slightly taken aback. He knew? But how, I’d never voiced my distaste for it?

The wolf seemed to notice my curiosity. He chuckled, “When you saw Kevin with the beers, your eyebrows twitched."

“That's it? Just like that?"

“I've been watching you long enough to-…" Matt said, but quickly closed his mouth as he realized he'd just dug himself in. So that’s how it was, huh?

I should be angry, now that I finally knew who was responsible for the creepy feeling I'd been subjected to…but Matt's accidental confession instead left me completely mystified, mostly by my alarming inability to get mad with anything involving this particular wolf.

Realizing that the air between us had gotten awkward, I decided to break the silence, “Anyway, back to business. What do I get for waiting here for an hour?"

Matt beamed. Couldn't he be more obviously happy about the subject switch? The wolf pulled out a bag he'd brought with him the whole time, which I'd somehow failed to notice…strange, it seemed that my keenness had also diminished quite severely. Should I take a mental health test this weekend?

Inside the bag was an assortment of desserts, all favorites of mine no less. Matt also ordered some items from the menu, and soon enough, a mini feast was served right in front of us.

“What the…?" I eyed the array of food. Hadn't he stuffed himself at our class's party? Imagine the disastrous waste if we couldn't finish all this and ended up throwing them in the bin!

“Don't worry, I haven't eaten much." Matt smiled when he saw the huge question mark on my face. To my surprise, he added, shyly, “Also, I kinda…want to have this celebration between us, you know…just you and me."

“…"

So this was…a 'mood whiplash', huh?

My insides went from shock and disapproval to warm and fuzzy within seconds, which left me baffled and flustered. Also, never had I thought the day would come when I used the term 'sweet' to describe another person, a guy no less, but it was all my mind could think of right now.

“Let's…eat before things get cold." I stammered, just in time to notice how very dumb it sounded. Most of our food was snacks and dessert, which were better served either at room temperature or cold. Ugh, if I embarrassed myself any further, I might have to reconsider my life choices.

My gaze was averted from Matt for a moment, so I might've missed his chuckle. Thankfully, things gradually went back to normal when we helped ourselves to the mouth-watering feast. Forget about what I thought earlier about Zeus's good taste. Matt had way better taste.

“Cheers!" Matt smiled, raising his pineapple juice, and I responded in kind with my latte. Right now we probably looked like two weirdoes, but it was the last thing I concerned myself with. It had been so long since I last enjoyed this kind of satisfying and wholesome meal with another person.

Come to think of it…had I ever?

My parents struggled financially, so our family meals had always been draped over by uneasy silence and strained conversations about budget and spending. As such, I could imagine their enormous relief when I told them about my decision to move out for college, yet even then, their tears felt hollow and rehearsed during my parting party (let's generously call it a 'party'). For the record, I bore no resentment toward them, but they could've at least expressed some form of affection for their only son…

Whatever, I shouldn't let unpleasant memories taint this moment.

“How do you get home?" Matt asked.

“It's pretty late now, but there's still time before the last bus, so that'll do."

“Want me to walk you to the bus station?" the wolf offered.

“Perseus himself wants to walk me to a bus station, how could I say no?" I teased and enjoyed watching the tips of his fluffy ears go slightly red.

It was an enjoyable walk. We chatted about various things, from hobbies to preferences and all other trivial stuff, but not once did I mention the watch-from-behind incidents. Matt, like most guys of his age, was really into sports, particularly football, and a huge fan of the legendary Lionel Messi – whom he enthusiastically regarded as the greatest ever. Moreover, he also enjoyed superhero movies or just action movies in general, reality shows, and had a penchant for working out and healthy food. Good lifestyle compared to the gen-z stereotype, but who was I to judge? I was a gen-z myself!

Before I knew it, we'd already arrived at the bus station.

I checked my phone and noticed there were still a few minutes before the bus arrived, “Look like my ride will be here soon, so I guess this is goodnight."

“Right…" Matt fidgeted and looked at me nervously, “Kota, I…"

“Hmm?"

“Can I…ask you for one thing? You know, for doing well tonight?"

“Sure, as long as it's within my reach." I chuckled, but nothing could've prepared me for what happened next. Before I had a chance to clarify his request, the big wolf pulled me into a hug. My smaller frame was entirely engulfed by Matt's.

“Please, stay with me like this, just a bit." His voice washed over me, along with his scent and presence…and I didn't hate it. I did as he wanted. Heartbeat drummed in my ears, but I couldn't tell it was his or mine, or ours.

At that moment, everything became clear…There was no escaping for me anymore.

Matt's birthday was May 7th, but I knew he'd likely spend that day busy at school and partying at home, so I decided to hold an early celebration for him.

“What’s your schedule looking like on Friday?" I asked, taking a sip of my tea. Having lunch together had become a habit for us.

“Friday…May 6th? Nothing, I'm free." The wolf replied after checking the calendar on his phone, “Why do you ask? Is something big coming up, like…a surprise test or anything?"

“I'm supposed to be the nerd here, not you. The new Captain America: Civil War movie will come out on May 6th, haven't you heard?"

Matt's jaw dropped, and I totally understood the look of disbelief on his face, like…how could a geek like him forget about an upcoming blockbuster and perhaps the biggest superhero movie of the year? Couldn't blame the wolf though, as he, like the rest of my class, had been drowning in homework since the school anniversary. Apparently, our lecturers wanted students to compensate for the time they'd allowed us, almost like the whole event had been our idea alone and they had nothing to do with it whatsoever. Nothing, if I didn't count their egoistical desire to look important or their delusional belief that students must share their high regard for a celebration that meant absolutely nothing to us. They just subtly reminded us that our contribution was a must, and took it for granted.

“I'm so gonna check it out!" Matt squealed in excitement, which was what I needed. Taking the chance, I offered, “Then why don't we go together? My treat."

“For real?"

As I'd expected, Matt's eyes were glitters away from becoming actual stars in the sky. Nonetheless, I smiled, “What's with that reaction? First time someone asks you to a movie?"

Matt's eagerness slightly deflated as his ears flopped, “It's not like that, but…I'm just so happy the person asking me is you."

This wolf…he was so predictable; it's borderline adorable. Ah, who was I kidding? He was adorable.

“Five pm sounds good to you?"

“You're the boss, whatever you say." Matt grinned.

(Friday)

For the hundredth time this afternoon, I slid my finger across the touchscreen of my phone to check the time, unable to concentrate on anything but my upcoming movie date. Poor Mrs. Sarah must be so pissed, as even I – normally the most attentive person in her classes, was ignoring her today. Right now though, I couldn’t care less about what she had to say. The old lady rambled the same gibberish twice per week anyway, missing it once wouldn't make much of a difference for me.

At last, the school bell rang and my agonizing wait ended.

I jolted onto my feet so fast that I nearly knocked my chair over. After stuffing everything into my backpack, I turned around and told Matt, who was already standing right behind me, “I'll go home and change. See you in an hour."

“Yes, boss."

Why was I torn over what to wear? What the fuck was wrong with me, it was just a movie!

In the end, after wasting nearly forty minutes in the shower and rummaging through my wardrobe, going back and forth between casual and formal clothes, I decided on a simple denim shirt and grey, slim-fit trousers, together with white sneakers. Grabbing my wallet, I opened my app and ordered a cab. If this had been any other day, I would usually take a twenty-minute walk, but I was running out of time, getting sweaty was the last thing I needed before meeting Matt. Just to be clear, I had no odor issue so I didn't wear deodorant, but I wouldn't take that chance today. My logical side was screaming about the taxi fare, but my anxious side just told it to shut up and pay the price for looking decent.

Paying the cab driver, I stepped out of the car…and spotted Matt on the other side of the road. Could I say he looked ravishing? I could, right?

Indeed, as the wolf ran toward me, my eyes were completely glued on him as I marveled at how much he stood out among the bustling crowd – Simple black shirt that provided a sharp contrast to his white fur, white jeans, stylish running shoes, and to top it off, brown aviator's jacket.

Damn it, stop with the fangirling! I mentally scolded myself. Taking a deep breath, I greeted Matt with a wave of my hand.

“Dressed up for the occasion, I see." I whistled as the wolf finally reached me. His response was the same as always - rubbing the back of his head shyly and smiling nervously, “You like it? How do I look?"

“Like it? No…I love it." I grinned, nudging him with my elbow, “Want me to take a photo for Instagram or Tinder? One shot and you’ll break the internet."

“You just have to tease. Anyway…shall we?" Matt smiled good-naturedly, though I could spot his tail. Yep, wagging.

“Yeah. I had the tickets preordered so we don't have to squeeze into that line. Let's grab drinks and popcorn."

I was probably the only one in that auditorium to not have a blast. I just couldn't enjoy the movie at all.

Don't get me wrong. I wasn't one of those edgelords who always attacked Marvel movies with nonsense like 'they're for children' or 'they're not dark and gritty'. I had no issue with Civil War, and it was, quite frankly, one of the best movies I'd seen in a while, with a perfect balance of levity, action and thought-provoking scenes. That being said, what caused my frustration was none other than the stupid wolf next to me. I wanted this to be a bonding experience, yet for the entirety of the movie, we'd barely shared any conversation as Matt was too engrossed in the big screen. He laughed, gasped, cheered, but not once did he notice my hand resting on his, and I couldn't even blame him. Why must I choose a superhero movie, knowing all too well how much of a geek he was?

“Oh man, this is the best movie ever!" Matt exclaimed, “Did you see Spider-man when he came out…and the airport battle…Black Panther and Ant-man were so cool…and the final scene when Cap deflected Iron-man's blast…"

“I know. I was next to you the whole time." I replied icily, and immediately regretted it. The wolf flinched and gazed at me anxiously; guilt masked his face as he mouthed his apology, “I'm sorry, Kota…I was so into the movie, and…"

I sighed. I knew Matt never meant to use his puppy-dog eyes as a get-out-of-jail-free card, but did he really have no clue as to how destructive they were? Now I felt like I was the one ruining the mood…and no part of me wanted to mess up this evening, especially over some trivial reasons.

“It's fine," I said, “People go to movies to enjoy themselves, right? Maybe next time, I'll pick something less exciting, just to make sure you'll stay aware of my existence."

Matt tilted his head, “You mean there'll be a next time?"

“Only if you want to, I guess. Hungry?"

The wolf nodded briskly, and I couldn't help putting my arm around his shoulder, “So am I. Let's go, I know a nice Italian place just a couple of blocks away."

Thankfully, nothing went wrong this time. We got there, ordered and helped ourselves to the simple yet scrumptious food. I could tell how much attention Matt was giving me, or at least trying to, as he always passed me whatever I needed before I even asked. I guessed he wanted to make up for the incident in the theater, and even though his effort was somewhat redundant, I'd take it. Right now, he was less a handsome wolf and more of that guilty kid who got caught red-handed stealing candies and tried everything to make up for it…how cute.

“How are you getting home?” Matt asked. The same question had been asked that night at the café behind our college. Déjà vu, but this time, my reply was different, “My flat isn't too far from here, so I'll walk."

Matt was clearly bewildered by the piece of information I'd just dropped, “Really? Can I-…"

“Walk me there? Yes, yes you can." I said before he had the chance to finish. I know it might seem rude, but Matt probably cared more about my answer.

The wolf beamed, drawing a smile from me as we made our way to my place. I didn't want our trip to be boring, so I tried to bring up more casual talks, like the movie we'd just seen, the dinner we'd just had, next week's assignments, etc. As we walked, the road became less and less crowded, until we were the only ones under the flickering street lights.

Perfect. Now that we had some privacy, time to get to the main point, “Hey Matt."

“Hmn?"

“Something has been on my mind for a while, and I want to know how other people think about it, so…can I hear your opinions?"

“Sure, what's troubling you, Kota?"

“What do you think about…two guys dating each other?"

Even without looking, I could picture Matt's reaction just from his audible gasp. It took a while for him to regain his composure, and I waited patiently until he spoke again, which he eventually did, “I…well, I have nothing against same-sex relationships. Why should we judge someone on their love life, gay or straight, a good person is a good person, right?"

Listening to him, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my chest. This was the biggest gamble of my life, and I honestly had no idea what to do had I lost. Thankfully, this amber-eyed wolf didn't let me down.

“Very open-minded and admirable." I complimented him with a grin, “By the way, you must be wondering why I suddenly brought that up."

“Uh…yeah." Matt's tone was strained, but I ignored it, “Just between us, okay? I only tell you cuz you're my best friend…there's, uh, this guy who's really caught my eyes, so…should I ask him out?"

Matt's reaction was much more intense than I'd anticipated. In fact, I barely had time to register a yanking sensation before I was forced to face my canine friend, looking more ferocious than I'd ever seen him.

Who?" Matt growled, his eyes staring directly into mine, as if trying to break through and see what was in my mind.

“The heck is wrong with you?" I protested, trying to push him away, but the wolf had me firmly in his grip; hands clasping on my shoulders so forcefully it kinda hurt. Matt had never treated me so roughly, and tried as I might, I still couldn’t figure out the exact reason. Was he so mad because I'd just come out? Then what about everything he'd told me, about him being okay with homosexuality and all?

“Who is it, Kota?!" Matt continued; his claws had now pierced through my garment and actually dug into my flesh. A lump of anger rose in my throat, not just from the pain or my clothes being ruined.

I felt betrayed.

“Get your hands off me! What's wrong, am I no longer your friend, now that you know I swing that way?" I glared at him, “So much for not judging someone on their love life, huh?"

“…"

“You're right…I'm sorry." Matt apologized, lowering his head, ears and tail flopping. The wolf's expression was a mix of hurt and shame, and to see him, so often brimming with positive energy, now down and dejected, made my stomach a lurch with guilt. What was wrong with me? I lashed out at him just from my assumption, knowing deep down, there must be reasons for his outburst. I was so close to telling him my feelings, my intent, yet…I let my temper get the better of me?

I must fix this now, otherwise our relationship would go up in flame.

“Matthew, look at me!" I demanded, cupping his jaw to gaze into his amber eyes, “Who the fuck did you think I was talking about? After all the time we've spent together, how many guys do you think I know long enough to date? Kevin? Some jocks I met on the street?"

I thought I'd made my point very clear, but to my frustration, Matt's only reactions were bug eyes and gaping mouth. Did his brain short-circuit or what, how much more obvious must I be?

Ah, to hell with it. If words didn't cut the check, how about actions?

“You made me do this." I sighed at the confused wolf, before catching him by surprise as I pulled him down to a kiss. Chills went down my spine as my lips brushed against his soft muzzle, forming a brief but undoubtedly electrifying contact between the two of us. Whether this was a good idea, I no longer cared, nor could I actually care at all. My eyes and mind were solely on a certain wolf, and in that moment, the world was seemingly reduced to us and this wonderful connection we were sharing.

Matt, like me, responded with his actions. Strong arms wrapped around my back as the wolf's form encased mine; our breaths and warmth overlapped in a complete and wholesome union. How I missed this feeling, to be so close to him, to hear our heartbeats and his voice whispering my name.

I chuckled, “Wanna spend the night at my place?"

Needless to say, Matt was more than happy to accept my offer. After giving his folks a call, the wolf followed me eagerly; his hand never let go of mine as the sound of our hasty footsteps echoed across the empty street.

“Come in." I told Matt as I opened the door, welcoming him to my personal space for the first time. The wolf happily obliged, and once inside, started running his eyes over the cyan room eagerly, like a kid checking out a new toy he'd never seen before. I only smiled and shook my head at his excitement while also wondering what was fueling it. I meant, seriously, aside from the unusual paintjob, my flat was hilariously empty…not in a pitiful way, but since my budget was limited, I always tried to spend it as reasonably and minimally as possible.

“Wow Kota, your home is really…"

“Empty? Yeah, I know." I finished his sentence, tossing Matt a can of pineapple juice I'd just fished out from the fridge

“I was going for stylishly simplistic." Matt caught the can and examined it, “You drink this stuff too? I've never seen you with anything other than some kind of tea or coffee."

“Nah, it was too acidic for me at first," I shrugged, “But when I took a liking to you, I tried it just to figure out why you liked it so much. The only thing it actually does is remind me of you, every single damn time."

“Kota…"

“Aww, don't get emotional over stuff like this." I gave the wolf a wink and scratched his chin, but Matt caught me off-guard as he dropped the drink and pinned me against a wall. His lips pressed against mine in a fervent kiss, undoubtedly much more intense than our first.

It didn't take long before our tongues tangled and began to wrestle for dominance – a struggle I rapidly lost, but didn't mind in the slightest. All I cared about was tasting Matt as I hungrily lapped up every drop of saliva he offered, taking in his subtle yet addictive flavor while letting him do the same to me.

It was mutual, wild, passionate, sloppy and lustful…basically everything I could've asked for, and even more!

Matt and I made out so ravenously I thought we might end up devouring each other like the couple stoned by Cupid and Famine from a Supernatural episode, but before we were seconds away from kissing each other to death, our air-drained lungs kindly reminded their delirious owners of the duty to breathe. So we parted, reluctantly, but the remnant of our intimate gesture remained there, in the form of saliva strings that connected our lips.

“Holy crap…" I half-panted, half-murmured, “Didn't expect you to be such an…aggressive kisser. Have you done this with someone else?"

It was meant to be a playful jab, but when Matt's back tensed, I knew my mouth had once too many times tonight screwed me over. Of all the things to say, I just had to bring up a cliché line that had served as a catalyst to many premature and melodramatic break-ups in both fiction and real life…

Still, it occurred to me that my ill-timed joke might be not entirely without merits, by which I meant it was the perfect opportunity to know just how committed Matt was to this relationship. Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean the whole I-must-be-your-first thing many people foolishly and inexplicably put an emphasis on. Who gave a damn whether you were their first, second or third (though if the number exceeded three, you might want to take some precaution), as long as two unrelated people were compatible and comfortable around each other, they could kiss, date, have sex or even start a family.

What I wanted to know was Matt's choice. Would he hide his past in fear of my verdict, or would he embrace honesty even if it meant risking this relationship?

“Yes, there was one before you, a German Shepherd." Matt started gingerly, “His name was Dan."

The wolf paused and looked at me nervously, as if scouting for a sign of upset or jealousy, so I kept my cool and urged him to continue, “Go on, don't worry about me."

“Dan seemed really nice and understanding when he asked me out. Things were great between us at first, but he…changed when we became public.

The attention got to his head…he started to want more. He demanded I must always be with him whenever we had free time at school. He brought friends to our dates and bragged about our relationship. It got to the point where I felt genuinely uncomfortable and had to ask him to stop, but Dan lashed out on me.

At that point, I wanted to snap him out of it, but I also knew reasoning with him was simply impossible, so I did what I had to. It wasn't easy…or pretty. We made quite a scene, mostly him screaming and yelling at me."

Matt's shoulders shook a little, undoubtedly from recalling the unpleasant memories. Anger churned in my stomach, and I was that close to asking Matt for his ex's contact, just so I could hack his personal data and make him pay for what he'd done to my adorable wolf…But knowing Matt, that would only worsen it for him, so I focused on comforting my boyfriend instead, softly stroking the wolf's back and placing a kiss on his snout, “That son of a bitch was using you for his inflated ego. You deserve better, Matt, and I'll make sure to give you better."

“I'm not entitled to anything; I just want to be myself around the person I love." My ears went slightly red as he whispered those words. That was the first time he'd ever said he loved me, and though not the typical ‘I love you’, it was enough to get the heat rushing to my head.

We stayed close to each other, and I could tell Matt's body heat was rising by the minutes, to the point that I started sweating a little, “Let me go, big boy. It's getting hard to breathe."

“Don't wanna." Matt huffed childishly, making me smile, “Oh, I see what you have in mind, you devious wolf. Stay like this until we both have to strip from overheating, right? Honestly, if you wanted to see me in my birthday suit, all you need to do was ask."

“No, I…" Matt spluttered, drawing a chuckle from me. At the same time, his innocent reaction sparked an unlikely but not inconceivable suspicion in my head, “Say, Matt."

“Hmm?"

“You and that Dan guy, have you two fucked?"

“My God, Kota!" Matt exclaimed in exasperation, blushing harder than I'd ever seen him, and my only response was a nonchalant shrug, “What? I don't see how two people with no sexual tension whatsoever can date, and hey, if you haven't done it, fantastic, but if you've, I don't mind at all. I'm not one to judge."

Matt gawked at me, I guessed he might've finally ran out of words for my brazenness. A few seconds of awkward eye contact later, the wolf let out a sigh of defeat, “Dan and I had some experiences. Hugging, kissing, and even…using hands to get each other off, but our relationship went south before we could take it any further. Who in their right mind want sex while they can't even talk to their date properly?"

“Good point." I nodded in agreement, “So, bottom line is you're basically…a virgin?"

“Pretty much, yeah." Matt admitted timidly, slightly embarrassed by my bluntness, “Is that…bad?"

“Fuck no!" I exclaimed, barely able to contain my excitement, “Can you imagine having a boyfriend who's still a virgin after a relationship? I'm just so glad you didn't waste your first time with that guy, cuz it's definitely mine!"

As I made the statement, my hand sneakily ventured to Matt's lower region and rubbed gently against the wolf's crotch. His surprise yelp made me grin ear-to-ear and added even more fuel to the rapidly growing fire of lust within my body. Pressing our rapidly heating forms together, I whispered into his ears, “Say, birthday boy, do you want a present?"

“Present?" Matt asked, before letting loose a loud gasp as I teased his groin a bit harder, “Yup. Wanna lose your v-card, I bet you can barely hold back at this point."

“And you said I'm the devious one." Matt huffed, clearly aroused now. The wolf caught my roaming hand and brought it to his cheek, “But you're right. I want you, Kota, more than anything in my life."

Giddiness bloomed in my chest. I smirked at my boyfriend, “Then help yourself. I'm not going anywhere."

The wolf needed no further invitation. Before I knew it, we'd both ended up a squirming mess in my bedroom. Matt, much stronger than me, had me pinned onto the mattress as he invaded my mouth vigorously, but my attention was mostly on savoring the treasure hidden underneath his shirt. My hand roamed freely across the wolf's chest and abdomen, feeling the powerful muscles covered in soft, white fur…Mmm, no wonder he was chosen to play Perseus, and I actually enjoyed the fact that he was adequately toned rather than excessively beefy. Not all hero had to be ludicrously burly like Dwayne Johnson's Hercules, you know.

Eventually, Matt decided to explore parts of me that I, ah, had yet to show him. He started from my midsection, fingers circling on my exposed flesh before venturing lower and lower until he reacted a certain bulge on my pants.

Oh fuck!

Even through two layers of fabric, the warmth from his hand was unmistakable. Tough and confident I might seem in front of Matt, I too had never done this with anyone, and beyond the pleasure, the fact that a sexy wolf was touching and caressing my privates was enough to drive me nuts. Given how fast he removed and tossed my shirt aside when we entered the room, I was expecting my pants to meet the same fate when Matt shifted his attention there, but even after our lips-locking ended, all he did was running his fingers teasingly across the aching tent. No matter how desperately I leaned into his touch or how heavy my breath grew, Matt showed no intend of scratching my itch any time soon. Was he paying me back for all I'd put him through earlier?

“Matt, please…" I yielded.

He grinned, seemingly satisfied with my submission. Mercifully but still taking his damn time, the big bad wolf unzipped my trousers and pulled them down, leaving me free of clothing but one last piece of garment, though it didn't get to stay there for very long. With both hands firmly on my boxers, Matt gave a firm tug and at last, my aching erection sprang free.

“You know what…you are definitely the devious one." I huffed as my boyfriend examined my package. For the most part, I was a regular human being, and my size was about as special as I was, so I really had no idea what the hell was Matt so fixated on. Having the one I was about to make love with stare at my genitals proved quite sexually stimulating, evident from my needily twitching erection, with translucent precum even started leaking from the tip.

Still…how much longer would he keep this up? The awkwardness was getting too much for me.

“For fuck's sake, Matt!" I complained loudly. Much to my exasperation, his only response was a soft chuckle. Somehow, it sent chills down my spines…what was this guy up to now?

“We need to eat with our eyes too, you know."

“Eat? Don't tell me you're gonna…Oh god!" I moaned as my erection disappeared into his muzzle.

As a young adult in his prime, there was always excessive energy that I must take care of from times to times, and I wasn't afraid of doing so…long story short, I did masturbate, and while it indeed felt good, this new sensation was completely different. Instead of gradually building up, pleasure instantly exploded and quickly spread across my body in an almost paralyzing way. The warmth was beyond what my hand could generate, accompanied by the wetness from his saliva and the sandpapery texture from his tongue, and honestly, the whole thing intensified just from the incredibly lewd sight of a handsome wolf enjoying my erect piece of flesh as if it was the tastiest bone in the world.

And enjoying it he was. Without missing a beat, Matt began to bob his head up and down dutifully, tongue sliding across my length to give its owner a taste of every inch, mouth lips closing tightly around the base my cock seemed to disappear entirely into his maw, which I wasn't about to complain about. The wolf's mouth felt heavenly, albeit a bit scary-looking from all the sharp teeth, but knowing the risk only added more to the stimulation I was receiving, as my mind drifted to the lusty image of Matt savoring my erection all the while trying his best to not hurt me with his fangs.

That, and…ah, his vigorously wagging tail too.

There was no mistaking how excited Matt was, from his gradually increased pace to his twitching fluffy ears to the way he greedily lapped up every drop of precum my glan dispensed, all forming a lewd yet intimate symphony that kept making me dizzy with ecstasy. As I sweated profusely, another tingling sensation began to build from the base of my cock, and it only grew more unbearable each time my canine boyfriend went to town of my length. I could feel it, hotly, desperately trying to escape, to burst out and ease the pressure that would soon prove too much for my balls to contain.

“Matt…I'm close…" I tried to warn the wolf, but he seemed to know exactly what he wanted. If anything, my announcement only further enlarged desire to taste my seed, evident in his increased tempo and intensity. He was truly intent on sucking me dry, and if the obvious hunger in his eyes didn't make it clear enough, the tightness from within his mouth and throat certainly did. Damn it, as much as I wanted this to last, I could barely contain my orgasm at this point, and knowing where exactly that white, gooey stuff gonna ended up didn't really help me holding on.

Then at last, the pleasurable yet torturous wait came to and end. Gritting my teeth, I caught Matt by surprise as I held him down, my hand keeping his head firmly in place. The wolf's muzzle completely enwrapped around my erection as he received his reward, in the form of jets of human seed, spurting violently from my cockhead to his awaiting maw and throat. Even when my mind went blank from possibly the strongest climax I'd ever achieved, my ears still picked up Matt's audible gulps. It all went in there, not a drop spilled out as my wolf eagerly accepted his lover's essence, even happily moaning around my cock. If I hadn't been in the middle of a heart-stopping orgasm, my length would've undoubtedly sprung to life again just from the visible bliss on his face.

Someone's excited, and very skilled to boost. Well, either that's your experience or natural talent, I'm not complaining." I huffed and scratched Matt's ears as my post-climax exhaustion started to kick in.

Matt flashed me a dorky grin as he inched himself higher and nuzzled my cheek, “Of course I'm excited. I've been waiting forever to take in your scent, Kota."

“Scent, huh?" I mused, “Wanna elaborate, big boy?"

“Ah…well, since our sense of smell is very strong, we often remember the scents of people around us and put them into different categories. The stronger the scent, the closer the relationship, so, for example, acquaintances' scents are very faint, classmates' or colleagues' are a bit stronger and so on, you get the idea."

“How can you tell a scent is weak or strong?" I asked, “Is it the frequency, like, classmates' scents are stronger because you have more interaction with them?"

“Uh, theoretically, yes, but it has more to do with…where we take the scents from." A small blush began to spread across Matt's face as he voiced his explanation, almost reluctantly, “You see, it's easier to pick up scents through intimate gestures, but they are often limited to family members and mates, like…when my parents hug me, I can easily take in the scents on their hair, which are very strong and distinctive. You don't see beastfolk going around sniffing random people's hair, do you?"

As I started to get the gist, heat also bloomed all over my face. Of course, it all made sense now, “Then you just took in my scent by…"

Matt nodded, the pink hue on his cheeks had now blossomed into a deep shade of crimson, “Semen gives off the strongest scent, and once taken in, it's almost like a brand in our memory. Moreover, beastfolk can also use their scent to mark their territory, so if we smell the scent of a beastman on another person, we'll know that person is 'marked' and therefore, off-limits."

“Hoh…and how exactly do you 'mark' your territory, mister?" My lips drew into a wide smirk as I made the inquiry. I liked where this was leading to, and in fact, I already knew where this was leading to.

I didn't think it was possible for Matt to blush any harder, but somehow he did. Adverting my gaze, the wolf struggle mightily to provide me with a comprehensible answer, “We…we 'mark' a person by…mating a-and…plant our…seed inside them."

That was the only confirmation I needed. Still scratching his ears with one hand, I inched a bit closer to the fidgeting wolf and reached out my other hand. A surprised yelp echoed in the tiny bedroom as I stroke the visible tent between his legs. Fuck, that thing wasn't even out yet, and already it felt twice as big as mine!

“K-Kota…?" Matt shivered and squirmed, but that only rendered him more susceptible to my roaming hand. The sight of the big, tough wolf losing his bravado actually turned me on a great deal, even if I was well-aware that the next part wouldn't start off easily on my part. Perhaps I had yet to tell Matt this, but…I wanted him as much as he wanted me, and I would get him now.

“You're twitching and aching down here, big boy." I teased, “What did you say you wanted earlier, tell me again?"

“I…" Matt gasped as I stroked him again, “I want you, Kota…"

“Oh yeah? And how are you gonna do that?"

“I…Damn it!"

Now it was me who got caught off-guard. In a blink of an eye, Matt pinned me down again; his hands gripped mine so tightly it hurt a little, but that was nothing compared to the utterly ravenous look he was giving me. It sent shivers down my spines, in both anxiety and some sort of weird excitement.

“I'm gonna mark you Kota. I'm gonna breed you good and make it clear to everyone out there that you're mine." The wolf growled, his form looming dangerously over mine, yet somehow it only got me more excited. This was what a wolf should be, at least in bed. Alluring. Dominant. Predatory!

The next few minutes seemed to pass in a blur. Kudos to Matt, as desperate as he appeared, the wolf remained rational enough to let me prepare myself rather than trying to fuck me dry or stick his sharp nails up my backside, which I was extremely grateful for. That, and the fact that I'd cleaned myself pretty good down their earlier and prepared some high-quality lube, though having to lubricate and finger myself in front of another person was awkward, even if that person was about to impale me with his rock-hard dick.

Anyway, by the time my hole had gotten loose and soft enough to receive Matt, the wolf had also stripped himself butt-naked, allowing me full view of his equipment…Err, should I feel lucky or terrified?

Since I had my eyes firmly on Matt, I'd done a fair amount of 'research' on beastfolk's genitalia and how they worked, but seeing one in the flesh was far, far different from gazing into a laptop screen. The thing had a healthy, ruby red color, veiny decoration and a spade-shaped head, but more importantly, it was at least 7 inches long, not counting the bulb of flesh at its base – his knot. I knew what it was for, but the thought of Matt plunging that round, swollen piece of meat into my depths still made me swallow nervously. Would it actually fit at all?

Well, only one way to find out.

Inhaling deeply, I nodded to Matt and spread my legs, submitting myself to him. My boyfriend didn't need inviting twice, grabbing his erection and angling the profusely leaking tip at my rim. There was no hesitation as he inched forward, and to my pleasant surprise, the entry turned out much better than I'd expected. Of course it still stung a bit, but the tip was able to slip inside without much resistance, probably thanks to my meticulous prep and the copious amount of pre Matt was dispensing. He was one very leaky boy.

However, it soon became clear to me that there was no such thing as a painless first time. As Matt sunk deeper into my virginal orifice, he applied even more pressure and I began to feel discomfort from being stretched. The subsequent pain, though far from excruciating, was enough to make me go pale, yet my mind somehow reminded its owner that he was the one starting this, and without any excuse or desire to stop the advancing wolf, I tried to distract myself with positive thoughts. Focusing on the goal instead of the process.

I'd made a promise to give Matt what he deserved, and this was just the first of many steps.

Amazingly, my self-motivation worked. Slowly but surely, pain turned into a pleasant numbness as the wolf eased himself into me with remarkable restraint. Then, I felt something round and firm against my rump, only to be astonished when I realized I'd taken all of Matt save for that massive knot.

“Oh wow…" we both marveled at our unlikely feat. Matt and I laid still for a moment, and I started to feel incredibly giddy, not just from his warmth spreading through me from within, but also from the realization that we'd at last become one. I was his, as much as he was mine.

Eventually, Matt's patience seemed to wear thin. I barely got a warning when the wolf withdrew his hips, dragging his searing length along my innards, only to immediately ram his dick home, burying himself up to the knot again. Just as the air was knocked out of my lungs, a new pleasurable warmth filled my body. Matt's ears twitched as he caught my unmistakable moan – a confirmation that he was indeed doing a great job.

The wolf took his time with his first few thrusts, but things quickly got out of hand as he fucked me in short, fevered strokes. Fat lupine cock pummeled my tunnel mercilessly, leaving along its path copious spurts of precum on the inside and a moaning mess on the outside. Indeed, never had I thought getting my ass thoroughly and repeatedly pounded felt this good, and now that I did, I honestly had no idea as to how I could live without my boyfriend's dick any more. Perhaps I'd reached the point of no return, but for this caring wolf and his amazing cock…gladly!

“RrrrRrr…You're a tight one, Kota!" Matt snarled amidst our intense rutting, which only mess up my lust-clouded mind further. Pushing back to meet his strokes, I clung onto my wolf and pulled him closer to me, desperate to feel his soft fur and powerful muscles. In and out he went; his pace became more fervent and erratic; his breaths spread across my face, adding even more heat to our already steamy fucking. Engulfed in a cacophony of slapping sound, heavy panting and elated moans, the world seemed to fade away as my focus was reduced to squeezing my boyfriend's shaft for all it was worth and a very horny wolf going down town on my inexperienced backdoor. We were rapidly reaching our limits, but somehow, I knew it was far from over. Not until the last procedure was completed.

Admittedly, it was rather unnerving to try fitting such a thing inside me, but the risk somehow had me riled up even more. I knew what he needed, and I knew what I wanted.

“Get it in, big boy. Give me all you have."

Matt gawked at me. I guess even as he was now, the wolf still hadn't expected that kind of request from me. Soon though, he responded with a toothy grin, as if giving me a final warning before unleashing his full-blow assault. There was no holding back this time, and at last I got to know how strong a wolf could be when he was desperate to tie and breed. His cock, or rather, knot slammed against my passage relentlessly in tandem with his rocking hips; each hump worked its magic to stretch me open bit by bit further, making way for the grand entrance of a certain knot. It took a while, but eventually my pucker started to give in, becoming soft and loose enough for his knot to slip in half-way. Matt, sensing the end was nigh, quickened his thrusts with such intensity I thought my bed would break.

Ironically, I was the one to break first.

The sheer roughness, the burning desire, the sexual euphoria - everything was beyond my imagination. I started to see stars. Then, with a particularly powerful, determinate thrust from Matt, I felt it breached my ring and locked us together. I'd actually done it! I'd taken all of him, including that massive knot, on my first time!

The sensory overload from being so deliciously filled nearly rendered me unconscious, but a sudden burst of molten heat from within my depths stopped me from slipping away. Whatever space left inside my gut was instantly stuffed with hot lupine load, so voluminous some managed to leak out from my opening despite Matt's knot sealing it shut. Waves of sperm washing over my internal flesh also triggered my second release of the night as my own length sprung madly and spurted the fluid of my pent-up lust all over myself and Matt, somehow even more copious than my earlier discharge.

My amount was meager compared to what Matt had just unloaded inside me, but lasted just as long. Things eventually settled though, and as we both indulged in our orgasmic haze, Matt nuzzled my neck and I returned the favor by scratching his ears playfully. It took a while, but I eventually found my voice again, “How was it? Good?"

“Better…" Matt replied groggily, "Amazing, incredible…Fulfilling."

I smirked in bemusement at my boyfriend's choice of words, “Fulfilling? I'm the one getting filled, aren't I? Or are you considering an 'alternative' for our next time?"

“Must you always tease me?" Matt groaned, but his dorky smile didn't make his complaint seem too legit.

“Sorry big boy, but I'm afraid you'll have to get used to it, cuz I don't intend on giving you up any time soon."

Matt's nuzzles paused, and I felt his body tremble slightly. The wolf then caught me by surprise as he sunk his teeth into my neck with just enough force to graze my skin and draw a tiny trickle of blood.

“Hey!!!" I exclaimed in pain, but mostly in shock.

“You can't leave me anymore, Kota, not after my scent marked you inside and this bite marked you outside."

Following his declaration, our gazes met. I saw my reflection in his gleaming amber eyes, and we both had a content smile across our faces.

Well, I guessed this meant neither of us would have a second thought about this relationship.
