"I know but just in case" Tyler said when the two stopped, "everything is left to you okay" Tyler asked running his paw down Elis cheek to his neck

Tyler hung the phone, got changed and they both got in the car and drove to Ocean View and walked over to the park where they found Leon on top of Fin kissing him under the half moon and starry night sky.

"Oh hay" Fin smiled while Leon blushed

"H-hi" Leon stuttered, Tyler smiled

"So do you guys wanna head in now or" Tyler asked, Fin gave Leon a final kiss and stood up

"Let's eat I'm starving" Fin said and the two pairs went into Ocean View. They walked in the Dragon and the Dalmatian with their arms over the lovers shoulders and the lion and the German Sheppard with their arms around their strong lovers waist, they walked into the small room with blue wavy glass with lights behind them lighting the room making it blue. An otter stood at the counter

"Welcome to Ocean View table for four I'm guessing" He said smiling

"Yup that be right I actually had a reservation under Tyler" Tyler said and Eli looked up

"When" Eli asked

"Before our shower" Tyler whispered and Fin giggled

"What was that" Eli asked jokingly

"Nothing cuteness" Fin answered giving Leon a kiss to his forehead then whispering something into his ear making Leon giggle and nodding

"Right this way" The otter said smiling; the four of them entered the nearly full area. Leon was nervous with how many people were looking at them because of how they were walking and was burying himself in Fins arm, Eli just didn't mind till he overheard a couple

"Oh my god, look at the fags" One laughed

"Probably gonna sit outside and blow each other" The other said giggling, Eli looked over to them and stuck them the finger and the couple blushed with embarrassment but continued talking, the four took their seats and talked till the menus came

"So cub what are you gonna have" Fin asked

"I-I don't know Hun" Leon said, Eli put his menu down and noticed Tylers menu was already down

"What are you getting" Tyler asked putting a paw on Elis leg and giving his neck a soft kiss

"The 500 gram T-bone steak with chips and you" Eli asked rubbing Tylers chest

"Steak bu..." Tyler started but was interrupted

"HAY WE ARE TRYING TO EAT HERE FAGS MIND NOT TURNING US OFF OUR FOOD" A lizard called out from 13 tables away

"HAY ASS-HOLE" Fin said standing up "COME HERE AND SAY THAT" Fin asked, the lizard rose then taking a couple of steps threw what looked like a break roll at Fin. Fin smiled and opened his maw and flames came flying out of his throat and burned the roll to a crisp, the room fell silent and Fin stood their looking at the lizard.

"You know People like you don't deserve to be in public, you think it's so funny to make fun of gays because they like their own gender but you know what, Its gets old. We are fucking people too we have needs and we also have a right to have a good time and if you want us to hide the way we feel about our lovers because it grosses you out, Well go somewhere else" Fin said sitting down.

The lizard sat down and the room filled with chatter again

"Wow, look at you" Eli said smiling

"What, I hate people like him" Fin said giving Leon a soft kiss to his fore head

"No you're amazing fire display" Eli giggled, Fin smiled

"Oh yer only some dragons are gifted with the fire lung" Fin said proudly, Tyler smiled then he pulled Eli in close, Eli murred smiling as he was against the Dalmatians chest.

"Okay I'm going to go order what do you want to drink" Tyler asked

"A vodka curser" Eli murred

"Colour" Tyler asked

"Blue please" Eli asked, Tyler nodded then went to place their order followed by Fin. Eli and Leon looked at each other and smiled

"So how was the rest of your day" Eli asked

"Fantastic, Fin took me to a movie" Leon explained and Eli nodded

"Cool what did you go see" Eli asked

"We went and saw Devil" Leon said

"Was it good" Eli asked

"Yer really good scary as all hell tho, I spent most of the movie hiding in Fins chest but still was great movie" Leon smiled, the two furs talked till Tyler and Fin returned with their drinks. The four sat, drank their drinks and talking till the food came.

"Wow this looks amazing" Eli gasped as he saw the thick, plump steak with chips and barbeque sauce be put in front of him, Tyler giggled and gave him a kiss to the side of his head. Fin had got spaghetti bolognaise and Leon got a bowl of chips, Eli got his knife and fork then dug into the juicy steak

"Do you mind if I steal a bit off you" Tyler asked

"No not at all" Eli said cutting a piece off and holding it in front of Tylers' maw who pulled it off with his teeth and ate it

"Whoa that's an amazing steak" Tyler said, Eli nodded and kept eating, Fin and Leon finished and where holding each other's paw, hugging. Tyler finished his sand witch and they were waiting for Eli, they were all talking about their opinions on the perfect chocolate milkshake, Eli finished when he felt Tylers' paw slide across his back then to his hips

"How was the meal" Tyler asked and Eli leaned up against Tylers' chest smiling

"Delicious thank you" Eli thanked, Tyler petted Elis shoulder giving the top of his head a soft lick

"You're very welcome" Tyler said, Eli looked over and saw Fin and Leon kissing deeply. The night was still young as the two couples walked out of Ocean View

"So what are you two going to do now" Fin asked with his arm around Leon,

"Go home and go to bed" Eli said

"Sounds boring" Tyler said

"Well you have an operation tomorrow Tyler and I'm glad I got to spend today with you"

"Don't you two spend every day together" Fin asked

"Oh me and Eli aren't exactly together anymore" Tyler explained "We broke up about a week and two days ago actually but Eli found another person and they're in love. Eli and I spent today together because I have an operation tomorrow that has a 30 percent chance of actually working" Tyler said forcing back the tears

"Oh my" Fin gasped "Well Tyler we wish you the best of luck" Fin said sticking out his paw, Tyler smiled and shook his paw. Fin then looked over at Eli

"And you, I need to add my number into your phone as well so we can catch up and we can meet this other guy" Fin asked, Eli handed him his phone and typing in his number and handing it back to Eli who put it back into his pocket. Eli and Tyler said goodbye to Fin and Leon with hugs and paw shakes then Eli got into the red 4WD followed by Tyler then the two canines drove home.

"Thank you Eli" Tyler suddenly spoke up, Eli looked over and took Tylers paw

"For what Ty" Eli asked squeezing his paw

"For making my last day the bes..." Tyler started but was stopped by Elis paw going over his maw and clamping it shut

"Tyler you are not going to die tomorrow do you understand, tomorrow you are going to go into the operating theatre and come back out with a happy and healthy liver okay" Eli explained "Tyler you have your entire life ahead of you and a little liver cancer isn't going to kill you because you are to strong that you can't even do it" Eli said realising Tylers maw "Do you understand me" Eli asked

"Y-yer I do" Tyler said pulling over and giving Eli a huge "I love you" Tyler whispered, weeping

"I love you to Tyler" Eli said hugging Tyler back tightly, Tyler then put his maw against Elis, Tylers tongue wrapped itself around Elis and suckled on it, Eli put his arms around Tylers neck as he had his maw enveloped by Tyler, Eli rubbed his tongue up against Tylers rubbing Tylers chest, Eli broke the kiss then gave Tyler a hug

"I hope you find somebody soon Hun" Eli sighed, Tyler gave Elis a quick neck kiss then kept driving. Eli had Tylers arm around him, Eli lay against Tyler murring but half way through the journey Elis phone rang

"Hello"

"Hay sexy"

"Oh hay puppy how are you"

"Fine and yourself"

"Had a brilliant day

"Great so what time do I come to the hospital"

"Tyler goes into surgery at nine so come around eight thirty"

"OK then, goodnight sweetie sleep well"

"You too Hun sleep well"

"Bye love you"

"Love you too Khareem night"

"Bye"

Eli hung the phone up and continued snuggling with Tyler, Soon the two arrived home, went in, brushed their teeth and went to bed, Tyler had his arms around Eli who lay on Tylers chest both of the dogs were on their sides. Eli fell asleep first being held by Tyler but Tyler lay and watched Eli

I just hope everything goes well, I want to be in Elis life forever and be there for him like he was with me. Eli I love you so much and if I die tomorrow I promise to watch over you

Tyler nuzzled Eli softly and closed his eyes, Tyler drifted off to sleep holding Eli to him underneath the warm black and white spotty blanket that covered them.

Elis phone went off and Eli sat up turning his alarm off

"Tyler come on, it's time to get up" Eli said going to put his paw on Tyler but he hit the bed, Eli looked over and Tylers side had a note, Eli grabbed it

I'm cooking breakfast sorry if I scared you

Eli sighed in relief, got out of his boxers and went out to the kitchen butt naked. Tyler opened the waffle iron and the aroma of waffles went through the house, Tyler put the final waffle onto the plate, turned around and nearly dropped the plate when he saw Eli standing naked leaning against the wall

"H...wh... hi" Tyler finally got out, Eli giggled and blushed

"Hay" Eli giggled walking over giving Tyler a soft and loving kiss, Eli then took the plate off him and put it on the table to be thanked with a hug around his waist, Eli murred feeling Tylers soft paws run across his naked fur. Tyler placed his lips against Elis neck softly running his lips across his fur, Eli let out a very faint moan as Tyler grazed his lips over Elis neck

"Ooh" Eli moaned faintly, Tyler then placed his head on Elis shoulder and the two dogs stood their holding each other "I know your scared puppy I can feel you trembling, but don't be your going to be fine" Eli said nuzzling Tyler from behind. Tyler nodded and rubbed his cheek against Elis, Tyler and Eli sat down and ate their waffles talking about what ever came to mind but soon the time came, Tyler went to the door but before they left Eli gave Tyler another cuddle "Don't worry yourself just know that you're going to be fine and I'm not leaving the hospital till your back in your room" Eli said nuzzling Tyler again

"Okay" Tyler whispered hugging then there was a knock at the door, Eli grabbed the handle and opened the door to find Lily and Rachel behind the door

"Hay" The two girls said giving Tyler a big hug, Tyler hugged them back silent fighting away the tears, trying to look strong for Eli, trying to look like he could handle anything but he was failing, he looked scared, he looked like he was about to burst into tears and run but everybody knew Tyler wouldn't, they knew he would go to the hospital and get the operation. The four got into the car and drove to the hospital in silence, nobody dare say anything, not because they might offend it wasn't the time for talking, Eli leaned up against Tyler who put his arm around Elis neck, Eli sat their silent, just sitting comforting Tyler

When they arrived at the hospital everybody gave Tyler a hug, Eli waited till last so he could walk in with his paws around Tylers' waist, Tyler pulled Eli in and hugged him tightly as they entered the hospital

"Don't worry pup, it's okay everything is going to work out fine" Eli said giving him a kiss for good luck

"Eli before I go I just want to give you this" Tyler said pulling out a necklace box, Eli gasped as Tyler slid it into his paws, Eli shivered as he opened the box to see a beautiful real silver necklace with a gold 'E' that had a ruby and sapphire pattern covering the 'E'

"P-puppy i-it's beautiful" Eli stuttered as he looked up still stunned

"Just something to remember me by if something is to happen" Tyler said

"Tyler I have told you no..." Eli started but was interrupted by Tylers' muzzle up against his, Tylers and Elis tongue rubbed up against each other exploring the new place they were put in, Tyler held Eli close letting his tears roll down his cheeks onto Elis shirt, Eli broke the kiss

"More when you come back out" Eli said, Tyler nodded and gave him a small peck on the lips

"I love you puppy" Tyler wept

"I love you to Tyler and I'll see you when you come out" Eli smiled holding back the tears until Tyler left, Lily and Rachel walked over and hugged him that's when Eli let loose of his tears. Lily got the necklace that Eli had just received and put it around his neck it glistened as the sun shone on the gold, they three sat down outside the operation room waiting, Eli was holding the necklace and at eight thirty Khareem arrived, Eli ran over and jumped into Khareems arms

"You okay pup" He whispered, Elis cheeks were wet and he was still sobbing, Eli shook his head and Khareem sat down with Eli in his arms "Where did this come from" Khareem asked holding the necklace in his paw

"Tyler gave it to me as a remembrance gift but I told him that nothing is going to go wrong" Eli said, Khareem nodded then the operation room door opened and Kelly walked out tearing up

"He wants you as well Eli" Kelly cried, Eli stood up

"Puppy" Khareem said and Eli turned around "Wish him luck for me" Khareem asked, Eli nodded and walked into the big room with Kelly

"I'm here Tyler" Eli said grabbing his paw while Kelly was on the other side

"If I do die I'm leaving everything to you and Khareem Eli, okay mum" Tyler said weakly, Kelly nodded wiping her eyes

"O-okay sweetheart" Kelly said giving her son a kiss "I love you" she said

"I love you to mum and I want to thank you for everything you have done for me in the past even while dad was still alive" Tyler said and Eli looked up, Eli never asked why he never saw Tylers dad, but now he knew, Eli looked up at Kelly who was crying heavily, she could very well lose another one she loved and then she would be left alone, no Eli would be there for here looking after her doing stuff with her and for her. he would be the German Sheppard version of Tyler so she wouldn't have to be alone in this world.

"Eli I love you and if I do die please look after mum, besides you, she's all I've got" Tyler asked

"Tyler I promise you, Kelly will always be a number one priority" Eli said leaning down and giving Tyler a final kiss

"I'm sorry to interrupt but we have to start now" the surgeon said and Eli and Kelly nodded

"Okay, good luck Tyler" Kelly said nuzzling her son

"He doesn't need luck, this dogs going to be fine oh and Khareem wished you good luck but like I said you don't need it" Eli said giving Tyler a good bye kiss before leaving.

"He said thanks" Eli said sadly climbing back onto Khareems lap and burying his head in Khareems neck, Khareem put his paw on the back of Eli head as his lover lay against his neck crying softly, Khareem stroke his head calming him down

"Shhh Eli it's okay, he's going to be fine" Khareem said holding him, Eli still cried laying up against his wolf letting his tears flow, Khareem gave him a nuzzle shhing him softly and telling him everything going to be fine, but soon Eli drifted off to sleep, Lily and Rachel sat down next to Khareem

"How can you be so sure he is going to be okay" Rachel asked

"I may not know Tyler well but when I shook his paw I felt he was strong, I'm sure the doctor are going to come out of that door and say it was a huge success" Khareem said smiling

I just hope I'm right for everybody's sake

Khareem thought behind his smile giving Rachel a friendly nudge with his shoulder and Rachel smiled at Khareem, She smiled at him to say thank you for being here and for making Eli feel better. After about three hours Eli woke up and stretched yawing in the process, He then looked around and noticed Lily and Rachel asleep either side of him and Khareem behind him smiling

"Well welcome back" Khareem said giving Eli an affectionate nuzzle

"What's happened, has Tyler come out yet" Eli asked rubbing his eye, Khareem shook his head

"No, not yet" Khareem said stroking Elis chest hugging him Tyler put his maw against Elis and was about to pull him closer when the door opened, Eli looked over to the door and ran over to the doctor. Khareem shook the girls

"Hay you two wake up" Khareem said, the two opened their eyes

"What is it" Rachel asked

"The doctors telling Eli the..." Khareem was about to finish his sentence when Eli hugged himself and fell to his knees, Eli began crying heavily

"Oh no" Rachel said covering her maw, Khareem ran over to Eli and hugged him, Eli embraced Khareem as he hugged him

"He's gone" Eli cried "HE'S GONE" Eli crying out into the nearly empty hallway
