Chapter 2: Starting a Family

"Why do you say it's your fault?" Shadow asked.

"I regret my actions," she cried.

"Stop crying. We will find them. When we find them you can apologize." Glacia stopped crying. She nodded and the two went to sleep.

"Who are you guys?" Fierra asked, fear showing plain as day in her voice.

"My name is Bones," said the Marowak.

"Mine's Doom," said the Houndoom.

"I'm Might, the leader of this group," the Mightyena said. "We strike those who favor incest. Bones! Doom! Pin the Flareon to the wall but don't touch her!" Doom and Bones backed Fierra up against the wall. She shook violently, afraid they were going to hurt her or her brother. Zapper went to attack them but Might used Crunch and crushed the bones in his hind leg. Zapper yelped and collapsed.

"W-what are you g-going to d-do to m-my brother?" she asked. Zapper tried crawling to his sister. Might used Headbutt and knocked Zapper out. "Stop hurting him!" Fierra cried out.

"Fuck off asshole!" Fierra yelled as she spit in his face. Zapper just started waking up. At this point he was too weak to use any of his strong attacks.

"I'm not finished," Zapper said weakly. Might ignored him and continued to focus on Fierra.

When she was sure they were gone, Fierra went back to the alleyway. Zapper's lifeless body was still there. She laid next to him and cried. "I miss him so much mother," Fierra said as she cried. "Why did he have to die now? Why did he have to die when he was going to be a father?" This new news shocked both Shadow and Glacia.

"You're...you're pregnant?" Shadow asked. Fierra just nodded.

"Well I'm happy that you will be a mother Fierra," Glacia said as she dried her tears.

Once everything was ready and the pastor, a Noctowl, was there, the two walked down the isle, one at a time. Dusik and Fierra faced each other.

Into this holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. It was at this moment Might and his gang entered the room.

"We object!" Might shouted.

"If thou believes that these two are not to be wed, then present your cause in the presence of gathered company," Father Noct states.

"This is an incest marriage. The groom is the son of the bride! It's wrong for this to be happening! Anyone here supporting this should be killed!" Might explained. Father Noct turns to Glacia and Shadow.

"What is thou response?"

"I do," Dusik answered. Father Noct then turned to Fierra.

"I will," Fierra answered. Father Noct then turned to Dusik.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," Father Noct said. Dusik kissed Fierra passionately. Once done, everyone headed over to the newlywed's backyard for the reception. Once there, Dusik used Iron Tail to cut the cake. Fierra and Dusik gave each other a piece of the cake. After that the dancing was set up. The DJ was a Zangoose named Zang. The four Magnemites were used for the lights. The lighting and special effects guy was an Ampharos called Ampor. The first dance was a slow dance between Dusik and Fierra. After their dance was another slow dance, this one between Fierra and Shadow.

"Thank you father. For supporting my decision and allowing this to happen," Fierra whispered to Shadow while they slow danced.

"Your welcome my daughter," he whispered back. After they finished Dusik danced with Fierra and Shadow danced with Glacia. Once their dance was done the DJ played party music and everyone who attended was dancing. It was a great time. Fierra and Dusik never wanted the happiness to end. Once everyone had finished eating and dancing they departed, leaving just Dusik, Fierra, and Fierra's parents.

"Mom, dad, thank you for helping and supporting me," Fierra said to her parents.

"Your welcome. I am truly happy that you have someone to love and be with," Glacia told her daughter.

"As long as it makes you happy we will support anything," Shadow explained. Fierra was brought to tears. She hugged her parents.

"Thank you grandma and grandpa. I wanted to ask you grandpa. Why did your rings glow when that Mightyena spit in your face?" Dusik asked. Fear struck Shadow.

"I don't know," Shadow lied. Dusik didn't understand but he dropped the issue. There was a moment where everything was silent. "Well we better get going. We hope you to live happily together." With that Shadow and Glacia left. Fierra and her new husband went inside.

Back at their hideout, Might, Bones, and Doom were in a meeting.

"As we are all aware of, Fierra disregarded our warning and married her son," Might said. "What shall we do about this?"

"Crush their skulls in just like Zapper!" Bones shouted.

"How about we strike them where it hurts the most. The heart. Turn them against each other," suggested Doom.

"Here's what we're going to do. We'll corner them in the same alley as last time. Awake the memory Fierra has of the last time we met. If he takes it then we force him to take off his necklace in front of her."

"Can I smash my club in Fierra's face?" Bones asked.

"Once. Make sure you don't knock her out," Might answered.

"What if he refuses?" Doom asked.

"We kill him, slowly, and we make her watch every second of it." All three members laughed evilly as they waited for the perfect moment to strike.

Night had fallen. The newlywed's were just getting ready for bed. Dusik approached Fierra.

"Baby you know you don't have to call me mother. You can call me something. Don't forget we're married now."

"What is it?" Fierra asked, puzzled as to what her new husband wanted.

"It's probably too early to ask this but, can we start a family?" Dusik asked. Fierra looked at Dusik with glazed eyes.

"Yes, we can." Dusik smiled at his wife's response. He jumped onto the bed and the two of them began to make a family.
